Filming Completion, Going Back To Writing & Birthday Celebrations!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week was a week of both creativity and celebrations. This included completing my filming for my fundraiser, making a start on a script to submit for an event, and celebrating the day where I turned 1 year older. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 23rd February 2026!

Professional:

Fundraiser Filming:

At the time of posting this, I’ve officially completed my filming for my fundraiser and is in the editing process. It was tricky don’t get me wrong, and there was a moment where my voice may give out, and there were a few moments where I felt it wouldn’t look right for continuity reasons, but it’s moments like this where getting it done is better than getting it perfect. I still need to film my neurodiversity week videos but I’m glad I got the main stuff film and ready to edit. I can’t wait for you all to see the content I made, and don’t forget to click the link below to make your donation if you haven’t already!

Acting Class:

This week I did more work on Stella Adler. Following a VERY long exercise last week, we looked at the three key elements which are behaviour, stakes and objectives, with one of them being through a physical activity. We then did a scene where we had the line “you look at me like I’m already gone”, looking at how the behaviour came from that line. We then finally looked at a list of verbs to link to lines that we shared, as it’s not always about what the line is, it’s how someone says it, with the meaning changing depending on the verb. All I can say is that it was fascinating stuff indeed!

Acting Jobs:

This week I applied for more acting jobs. Whilst I sent in submissions for some jobs on Mandy, and got an email about one I submitted, I sadly didn’t get picked for one that I saw online. Exit was a shame yes, but onwards and upwards as they say. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, every No is one step closer to a yes.

Story First:

Following a Storytelling workshop I had with the National Youth Theatre a few weeks ago, I made a start on getting my script to potentially be used for the next Story First season. I don’t know how I’ll be able to manage it around my “Proper Job”, but with these situations, if you want it, you’ll find a way, if you don’t you find an excuse. But it’s good for me to properly look at it again, as following my injury and other stuff happening last year, I need to get my creative juices flowing again. Even if I don’t get in, it’s the kick up the backside I need to make something great, where if not selected for Story First, I can use it as a next project.

Act On This:

This week I tuned into a session with casting associate Kate Bone. Despite some technical difficulties from Ross’ end, it was a really good session. I learnt lots of stuff, particularly with how to come across inviting people like Kate to stuff and also how to stand out in the audition with the script. A useful and informative session indeed!

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th February. 16th saw a flash forward seeing 23rd April at Carla’s and Lisa’s wedding, with Betsy telling the police what happened, we then went to the present, seeing the 5 suspects, all having different motives. One of them was Theo, who was checking in on Todd’s exercise and giving him money based on the mileage. Later on, Todd noticed the piggy bank being moved, and Theo ended up bullying him, and a flashforward episode saw him being battered. Elsewhere, Ben was convinced Will couldn’t have attacked Daniel following an update, with Ollie suspecting his worries, and Eva reminding him he doesn’t need more stress. Ben and Will then found Maggie, who gave the police a false alibi and claiming he’s protecting her. Eva was then asking Megan if Will did attack Daniel, with Megan only telling half of the story, and it then followed by Daniel and Megan talking about Will, only for him to come back, followed by an argument between Daniel and Ben. A flash forward scene then saw Megan battered whilst Eva and Ben discuss the situation, only to be interrupted by Maggie, with Eva standing up to her, followed by a flash forward episode of her. Meanwhile, Carla was reminding Lisa of the early finish, which was at Debbie’s hotel, and making out it’s a design exhibition, soon revealing about a wedding date, accepting it. It then went back to the flash forward episode to see Betsy revealing she saw a dead body, also revealing she knew the victim and being asked why they want them dead. Back in the present, Sally was wondering why some of the street were on their date, whilst Carla and Lisa discussing first dances and fireworks, and ending up telling sally and tim. Elsewhere, Carl was asking Jodie out, whilst Jodie attempts to steal David, with Kevin and Abi coming in and grilling him. It was then followed by Carl intoxicating himself whilst Glenda checks in with Kevin on Debbie and Carl slurring, seeing him battered in the fast forward scene. Shona then came back, updating him with Bethany taking over and the surgery and updating Jodie on it, and wanting to treat them to thank them, but frustrated when she invited herself. At Debbie’s hotel, Jodie was talking about how Shona and David are different to other couples, making out it’s the safe option, giving small hints whilst a flash forward episode saw her worried. It then ended with the voiceover of the other victims, and Betsy finding the body. Let’s just say that the rest of the episodes I watched certainly showed each characters motive for possibly being dead.

There was drama in the Driscoll clan, as Daniel was asking Sam about jam and recommending him to get some rest and asking him about the flat. Megan was ringing Will, with Daniel coming round to the flat, still convinced he attacked him and turned him down for a takeaway. We then saw Susie teasing Will about his friends when he asks about going out, and Eva telling her to put his feud with Daniel aside. Will was then wanting a favour from Eva, only to be interrupted by Megan and Daniel, with Ben coming in and apologising for last week. After Sam revealed to Rita that he got some free products, he spotted Will voice noting Megan only to be caught. This didn’t go unnoticed by Toyah, who caught Sam, making out he’ll stop which was actually spying on Will. Megan was then kicking out Will, with Sam voicing his concerns, whilst toyah invited him for tea at the bistro. It then resorted to Sam entering the flat, and making out to Megan he wanted somewhere quiet to revise, soon looking for a camera. Whilst Lily was binning the newspapers (which I’ll get onto when I talk about the Platt drama), Will and Megan chatted about Sam, getting Will to be close to him Nick was then asking Sam about his revising and Will puts his plan into action, whilst Megan gets confirmation from Will to put a plan in place. It didn’t stop Nick and Toyah getting suspicious on Sam, but he still came to thank Will and Ben giving him advice about Sam. It then gotWill inviting Sam for a drink after Nick messaged him about the cinema, which moved onto the subject about Megan, only to be caught by Daniel and Will running away, and Daniel asking about it. Following this, Nick was asking Sam what is happening, but not revealing the whole truth. Daniel was also talking to Megan about it, with Will denying it, and Megan inviting Will for a “Reward”, which resulted in Sam giving Nick his phone. But they nearly getting caught by Leanne, who came home early. Toyah then offers Sam a trip, with Bernie talking about her thoughts on space, but all he’s worried about is his phone. And Eva inviting Toyah on a girls day gave Sam the opportunity to get his phone and look at the evidence. But things are going to get more difficult for him as Nick loses his temper and ended up roping Sam into helping out due to being short staff. We then saw Megan, Toyah, Eva and Megan talking about their love life, and Megan was soon manipulating Sam, but made it out to the others it’s teenage hormones. He then watched the video of Will and Megan, but was soon being caught by Nick. But a confrontation with Megan about the camera soon for him manipulated again, with Nick spotting Sam in Victoria gardens, clearly emotional. That wasn’t the only drama in the Driscoll clan, as Eva was asking Ben about the rota, teasing him about his age. It also led to her querying Ben about Ollie, and Maggie revealing she changed the rota, with Ben reminding her that Ollie is a grown man (which is true), mocking her and Eva. But that didn’t stop Maggie, as she was soon grilling ollie about Lauren, trying to put him off her. We also saw Steve and Ben bonding over sayings and other sports, but Tim is feeling jealous (although it was quite entertaining to see). Ben and Steve were then enjoying a game of darts, and Maggie was complaining about Ollie and Lauren, making it clear who’s boss. Lauren then revealed to Maggie she might fancy Lauren, and Maggie's teasing soon got her standing up to her, and soon querying Steve and Ben, who invited Ben to a match, making Maggie feel uneasy. Mind you, with her murderous past, I think they need to watch out… We also saw drama with the Platts, and if all started with Lily moaning about not getting enough money but Jodie secretly gives her some money. David then found Lily in the Kabin and wanting money, soon wanting a job and David liking the idea. But maybe it wasn’t the best idea, as Brian gave Lily some instructions for her first day, and also showing off his new book and Mary having an argument with him about which one was better, ending Mary inviting Rita to the Bistro. Rita also got an update from Emily, which was soon followed by Hope coming in to bring in the papers Lily binned, asking them about her Duke of Edinburgh. The drama really got in where after Jodie offered to help whilst David and Shona were tired from Harper, Brian came in about lily. This resulted in David telling off lily, and Jodie offering to help Lily, with Carl coming in and Jodie inviting him round. We then saw Jodie finding out about Carl's secret, only to be caught by David, and after Carl got some news, she made a comment about how the two of them are similar. I also don’t know if Brian’s controversial idea of trackers was part of it, but and Lily coming over didn’t go down well, quitting her job before she even started. We then saw Lily moaning about The Kabin, and Jodie fabricating the story of Brian and Rita. Hope was then overhearing Rita and Brian, catching them out, and it ended with someone breaking into The Kabin. But the question is… who? There was also tension on the Webster clan, with Carl being on a call whilst Ronnie has a go at him, with him reminding him he’s entitled to compensation. In prison, Debbie mistakes Lou for Abi, and eventually revealed she has dementia, changing her perspective on her. At the hotel, a so called handyman came in, only for Ronnie to spot him talking to Carl about the arson plot, and confronting “John” about it. Whilst that was happening, Debbie showed Lou a book someone recommended, and after a joke that didn’t go to plan, Lou was advising her to keep the dementia quiet, and told her that Paula is not what she seems, and I think she actually means it too. We then saw Ronnie revealing to Carl he knew about the arson, but soon revealing Carl is Debbie’s son. Things were about to get worse for Debbie, as after looking at a picture and getting a visit from Paula, Bernie was checking on Ronnie to ask how everything is, with him asking her about Debbie mentioning Carl, only for him to come in and teasing Ronnie. Back in the prison, Debbie was comforting Paula over her “ex”, and Lou came to the rescue when a comment from Debbie made Paula snap, and Lou reminding her to be careful, but Debbie was fearing her dementia is getting worse. We then saw Kevin and Ronnie visiting Debbie and queried about her black eye, but soon asking about Debbie being carls mother. Kevin was understandably mad and Debbie blaming herself, thinking he owes her, and a comment from Kevin hinted about the future. Robbie and Kevin then confronted Carl about Debbie’s state of mind, giving him an ultimatum. It was also nice to see Lou offering her services for support, and despite their past, the truth on Debbie’s illness gave her a real perspective on things. We then saw Kevin and Ronnie coming to the hotel, getting Carl to tell the truth, which resulted in accusations left right and centre, with Kit sorting an interview for all of them. He then came with some bittersweet news, and got them encouraging to let Carl get exposed naturally. Debbie soon got a visit from Carl after being notified, and made a joke about how prison is not so bad, along with talking about their injuries and wanting to talk whilst she has her memory. She was soon apologising and giving news about her appeal, offering some time together before her symptoms get worse. But Carl declined the offer, revealing he’s moving back to Germany, convinced no one wants him and soon over exaggerated what Kevin and Ronnie said. Debbie offering her home also didn’t help, but Carl was soon manipulating her into giving him some money, which I know wasn’t going to end well. There was also some trouble with Bernie, starting with Jodie asking Mal about the crystals, trying to impress Bernie. He then tried to impress her with tarot cards, and she soon apologised to Jodie. At that point, David being surprised by lily wanting to come on a dog walk with Jodie, whilst also informing Mal about Bernie, making out a exaggerated story. It was soon about to get creepier, as after Hope made a joke to Bernie about her duke of Edinburgh, Mal asked her and Chesney about her, which resulted in a compliment on the sandwich, and later on offering to make a cuppa, and his creepy nature was interrupted by Brian asking for Roy's availability.

I also watched 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th. During that week, we saw Dev mocking Bernie about the withheld number she has, whilst he was preparing for a trip before Asha’s return to being a paramedic, during this, Shona was convinced that Carl is not good for Jodie, reminding her of bad relationships, making out she turned him down. We then saw Mal teasing Bernie whilst Jodie had a go at her, giving her some advice, and things soon took a frightening turn when Jodie left to help Lily on a project, and Roy was heading out, putting Bernie in an uncomfortable position. It then resulted in Mal locking the cafe in and getting into a sticky situation, but Kit came to the rescue just in time. In the Rovers, Gemma’s chat about having the house to herself was a good distraction for Bernie,  secretly scared of being on her own. It then resulted in her the door, finding a picture of her wedding photo to dev cut out, resulting in her going to Chesney’s. Kit was then straight on suspecting that something was up after finding her golf club, but then found out about Bernie’s ordeal with Mal, not wanting to get involved for his sake. Whilst Maggie was complaining about staff (and I’ll mention more of it in the next few sections), Mal came in and berated her, but good on Roy for defending her. Kit was then checking in again, convincing her on reporting him for harassment, and when Dev came home, she told him about the night in the hotel, infuriating him understandably. Mal was then once again mocking Bernie about Paul, making a threat in the process. And as Asha started paramedic training again, there was still tension between Dev and Bernie, questioning if he want more than sorry. At the station, Lisa revealed to Kit of an attack, which turned out to be Mal, whilst Bernie plans to leave after not realising what she wants. At the hospital, Kit was getting information on Mal, finding out that he’s in a critical condition. At the cafe, Steve was talking about a van slogan whilst Dev came, who Bernie revealed that she’s running away for his sake, but Dev was wanting to still be with her after forgetting his experience. But things took a sticky turn for Bernie, as after Lisa was checking in on Kit, and a comment about Kits colleague Browning got him on edge, she ended up getting arrested. Oh dear… There was also daddy issues for steve, as after Cassie was teasing him on his friendship with Ben, it was interrupted when he got a distressing phone call. It resulted in Steve telling Cassie about a fraud case, followed by talking to her and Ben about the situation, offering to help with tracking down his friends, only to find out he’s in hospital. Soon later, Tracy was mocking Cassie and vice versa, whilst Steve asks for advice on Jim, Amy giving was the only person that gave him something  decent. We then saw Ben checking in on him and offering him to drive to the hospital, and him making a joke to ease the situation didn’t help. But he was soon comforting him about it, asking why he came in the first place. At the Rovers, Maggie was offering Cassie a drink, which was then folllwed Ben and steve coming back and asking Chesney about his uniform and made a joke, whilst asking them about what was really going on. Whilst they didn’t reveal it, and with Steve stepping in dog poo making his low mood worse, it soon changed when Ben offers steve a gift, also inviting Tim as well. The trio certainly enjoyed their trip, and as Maggie went on her break, there a phone call coming in from none other than Jim McDonald. I can also imagine Amy’s reaction after finding Steve in the back of the pub the following day, resulting in Ollie making a breakfast. But I have a feeling that they’re may be a love triangle happening soon. And it all started with Ollie asking Lauren out to the bistro, but Maggie clearly disapproving, but despite Ollie’s attempts at reassuring her, Maggie soon put her off after trying to stand up to her (which I hate her for it). We then saw Lauren visiting Betsy, who was having doubts about the date following Maggie’s words, resulting in her cancelling the date. But at least Toyah showed him some kindness after it. It was clear there was some renationalise after Lauren was trying to apologise for standing him up, but convincing Amy to go for Ollie May result in something more nasty than Maggie’s comments. We also dad Brian searching the Kabin after the break in, with Brian figuring out who may have been responsible. It resulted in him coming round to get Hope to confess, with Fiz and Ruby suggesting it’s one of this costumers, and it looked like Hope meant it when she didn’t take it. During Rita’s birthday, and after Mary gave Rita her birthday present, Jodie gave a clue on the their which got Brian still talking about it, but I have an incline on who that could be. Ronnie was also visiting Debbie and making it clear about Carls intentions with her and the hotel. Ronnie then reported it to Ed about it in the Bistro, only for Carl to come in. Oh dear… We also saw Jodie getting tracked, but not before Jodie was helping lily and David the dog. Whilst Bernie was staying at Chesney’s (which was why she felt scared after the break in), Lily and Jodie made a joke, with someone having her locket in the distance. In the precinct, Toyah caught Jodie not picking up the dog poo, and soon hearing voices, who was someone from her past. Jodie then claimed she’s in witness protection and that’s the reason why she left, begging her to keep it a secret, bumping into Betsy and asking about Harper. Later on, Jodie was then checking in on David whilst also chatting about Lily, and soon revealed she broke into Bernie’s house. But it looks like investigations into Jodie will soon be starting, as Shona offering Jodie a girls day as a thanks, where at the salon, she gave a toast and thanking her. During this day, Bethany was teasing Maria of her last career, and so about Harper and hearing Shona call David cute. It then turned into a panic when Shona revealed she lost her wedding ring, and not making dinner for Bethany, which then led her to getting suspicious of her intentions. Following the girls day, Toyah was asking about Shona, and David blocking off Maria’s suggestion and getting a call from Jodie, which I feel was her attempt to trying to get closer to him. Sarah was also checking in on Gail, when Kit came in to tell her about Mal. Whilst Sarah was talking about the case in the Rovers, David found the ring and Shona was relieved, but Bethany was still having her suspicions, which were caught by Maria. Lastly, George receiving a compliment from Mrs Ripley was short lived after a joke from Christina got her angry, following his previous allegations. We then saw Roy listening to George’s concerns in the cafe, with Christina bringing in Adam to possibly help, who gave advice they didn’t want to hear. An update from Joan then came in about the fraud, leaving Christina to take matters into her own hands. This resulted in meeting Mrs Ripley at the bistro to talk about the situation and persuaded her to use George for her sister, only to be caught out my George himself (which was partly funny) and ending up losing her as a client. After George made many attempts to phone not getting a call, Christina convinced him he’s entitled to the money and encouraged him to stand up for what’s right. At the Bistro, Adam and Alya were talking about the next thing, but we’re interrupted when Christina tries to change his mind, with both of them stating how it can affect both of them. Things were about to turn disastrous, as Mrs Ripley came back in, who despite making her thoughts on Christina clear, changes her mind and want George to help with the funeral. This then resulted in meeting what would be a peaceful end, but with Shuttleworth’s already in hot water, I can only imagine what will come next.

Hollyoaks:

This week we saw an emotional goodbye, a secret being revealed, and an offer leaving two residents stunned. Mondays addition saw the mcqueens worried when John-Paul leaves a note to say goodbye. They then found him at Mercedes rehab, where they all said a proper goodbye. All I can say is good luck to James Sutton on his next adventure, and I know whatever you’ll do next, you’ll absolutely smash it. But the departure and the previous episode had a negative impact on Prince, who resorted to taking steroids again. The aftermath also saw Dodger being suspended from his job after refusing to mention Sullys cruel intentions to Superintendent Singh. Gemma also queried on what’s going on, but after finding the footage to the apartment in Liverpool, she was shocked to see what really happened (which was obviously not shown because it’s a family show, but after watching Hollyoaks: Later, I knew the full extent of it). Elsewhere, the joint engagement parties were being set up, and whilst Ste and Darren had a disagreement on the entertainment, slightly offending Jack, Rex was exploring his own identity. This doesn’t go unnoticed by Ro, who could see he’s disappointment when Ste takes away his packages, resorting to getting Diane’s old dresses and giving him a hint to have them. I’m just glad he was there when Froggy got threatened by Sully, but I can only imagine what’s going on when he see Rex in a dress. Tuesdays episode picked up where we left off from, and during the joint engagement part of Ste and Rex’s and jack and Pearl (where jack was stunned by her look), he was clearly affected by it. And whilst trying to comfort Ste after finding out Leah wasn’t coming, it definitely got him spiralling. It’s a good job Ro was there, and Rex was able to open up on why he felt the way he felt. And bless Froggy for accepting Rex as he was after overhearing their conversation. But during the party itself, Pearls friend Paulette clearly couldn’t handle her drink, and Darren was understandably protective of Frankie after he found out about her application for dance school. But I think he knows deep down that this will be the fresh start she needs, and if Isabella Smith is leaving,  I do hope it’ll be on a positive note. Outside of it, Gemma confided in Froggy about her discovery linking to Donny, prompting a night of passion with Warren, whilst he convinced Sienna not to say anything after they both find out Sophie accidentally contributed to Joseph’s injuries. Sienna clearly couldn’t tell Cleo, but I do wonder how long it’ll be kept a secret for… finally, Wednesdays episode saw Sienna attend a meeting with social services with Myra, who stated that neither of them can’t take care of Joseph, so had to resort to Leela to avoid him being in temporary foster care. At first understandably she was hesitant, but soon reconsidered after seeing Cleo’s mental well-being. Despite Sienna saying that it wasn’t Sophie’s fault, Sienna was soon sent into a panic which got Leela revealing the truth. Elsewhere, Warren and Gemma’s fling was understandably not approved by Vicky, who at the salon was still reeling and scared following her kidnap, and I have a slight feeling on what she’s going to do with the money in the safe after going to the salon. It was also the day that sienna and Nikki go back home from rehab, and it’s safe to say that they have made a strong friendship. All I can say is if it is the last appearance, best of luck to Suzanne Collins and Philip Oliver for bringing drama and joy to the village, and fingers crossed a Brookside revival will take place. But things may look to get interesting when Mercedes gave an offer for a potential throuple. I thought Gemma would be against it, but clearly not. And it was nice to see Froggy defend Rex after Ste asks him about the engagement party disappearance in the last episode, and half of that was actually true. Despite getting them to go away to see Leela, Froggy was then hit with the reality of what will happen when Sully recovers, so Rex had to stay, which Ste was understanding of surprisingly. But at least he got the chance to express his true self at the flat, and I’m sure Ste will be understanding.

Eastenders:

This week saw one resident teaching breaking point, another with a life changing decision, and another where a simple gesture may turn into something dangerous. Mondays episode saw an eventful Sunday lunch. Oscar is clearly still heartbroken hence why he was drinking still and convinced Peter to go out afterwards, but the bigger drama was Jack and Denise finding out who’s pregnant after finding a pregnancy test. At first they thought it was Chelsea, but it was o my down to some margaritas, then they thought it was Lily, after she and Ricky wanted to talk about something, when in fact it was about money for a a pram for Charli. I can only imagine the shock on their faces when it was revealed that it was Penny’s, and I also got her understanding as to why she lied about it being a “false alarm”, convinced that Jack thought she wasn’t capable because she’s in a wheelchair. We also saw Callum and Johnny on edge after the note from the last episode, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Linda. She then came round to ask Callum if he still loves Johnny, and decides to go ahead with the task after confiding in Kathy about it, adamant that it’s for her and Lexi. But it was only when he and Ian got their he realises Tim set him up, and I just wish they wore masks at this point. Just as Tim was trying to tell Linda a different story, Callum managed to come back in time to reveal about Tim’s plot. Elsewhere, Ravi was on the job hunt, and Vinny tries to offer his services money wise, but Ravi was convinced he doesn’t need help. And Priya knew that it’s the thought that counts after she mentioned to him about Lauren needing some help at the car lot. Tuesdays episode saw the aftermath of Penny’s secret, and I deeply empathise with her about why she may not be a good mum, linking to her being a wheelchair user. Jack also came round to try and apologise, and I also get why Penny would be feeling the way she’s feeling after jacks reaction, linking back to her childhood. I also admire how strong she is in the sense that if she managed to do things differently before, then if she does decide to keep the baby, she’ll continue to do things differently. But a slip of the tongue from Oscar following his night out with Peter soon got Vinny involved, and despite jacks thoughts on the Panesars (which was another reason for Penny to question things), Vinny was one of the good ones, and I like how he was so gentle with her and not pressuring her to make a decision just yet. And speaking of the Panesars, ravi’s interview at the garage where Max did it didn’t go down well, and Priya has a point when Ravi questioned about a pizza delivery man job, stating that as long as their family have money coming in, it shouldn’t matter about the income. But after seeing spoilers, something tells me things will only go downhill for him. And Callum and Johnny were still on edge after the last episode, with Johnny querying if Callum still loves him. But soon enough after Callum talked about why it’s difficult (which was understandable as after doing some research, Ben played a big part in Callum’s sexuality), they finally were able to move forward. But Johnnys suggestion to sort out Tim and Linda giving Tim a piece of her mind took a shocking twist, leading to a shocking choice Johnny has to make. And Nugget encouraged Ricky and Denzel to let Tommy back in their group, and his suggestion to use a AI app to help Patrick after seeing him refuse to get part in the horse racing May do more harm than good. Wednesdays episode saw Ravi getting a chance to get another job from Mark, despite Priya reminding him about picking up Nuggets prescription. Whilst Denzel, Ricky and Tommy were talking about their idea for Patrick, Nugget was open about his epilepsy after realising he hasn’t got his tablets, as Ravi had them at the launderette. And a comment from Bea was the start of a downward spiral. Just as he was about to do Marks job, Nugget had a seizure, and thank god Denzel and co were there to help him. I can also understand Priya's frustration when Ravi revealed his whereabouts, and I’m just glad Mark let him off with a warning. But it soon got worse when the pharmacist revealed he couldn’t see the prescription, and despite him recommending to go elsewhere or come back today, a enraged Ravi saw him locking the shop with him, Nugget, Bea and Denise. But he’s not the only Panesar that has a lot on. Vinny confided in Priya about Penny’s pregnancy, and soon wanting their chat later on to go to a “business meeting”. But it was in fact having a drink with Harry and talking about the situation, with Harry revealing his thoughts linking to his ex. Vinny then found his answer after talking about his future, and stated to Penny that the only reason why he wanted to talk later was to avoid saying the wrong thing (which is fair enough I guess). I’m also glad she invited him to come to the doctors with her before she makes a decision. And Johnny is also in abit of a pickle, as despite reassuring Callum that everything is under control, he soon confided in Elaine about the situation. I agree with her when she states it’s a bad idea, and Johnny's plan B to get his phone didn’t go the way he wanted. Even a grilling on if Tim is lonely after he shows his true nature surely didn’t help, and it got Callum wanting to hand himself in. I can only imagine how guilty he feels when even though he said he’ll try something else, he’s actually going ahead with Tim’s offer. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Ravi still holding everyone hostage. It was a tense watch, and even I would be scared when he stops Bea calling the police. And he was very nearly going to tell Nugget the truth, but Denise messaging Jack came to them just in time, and Jack made it clear of the consequences Ravi will have if it happens again. I think this is also the point where he needs help, as after reassuring Nugget everything is fine, Priya could see otherwise. Vinny also accompanied Penny to her appointment, which didn’t get off to a bad start after he made a joke, and I like how he was there for her when he reminded the doctor to let Penny speak on her own terms. Following the appointment, she opens up about her insecurities which made her think she doesn’t deserve a child, but I could also tell that being with Vinny changed her mind, and Gina and Harry were very happy for them. Johnny meanwhile insisted that everything was fine, but a trip “to the shop” was actually drowning his sorrows, revealing he did take up Tim’s offer, but using the drink as an escape of the portrayal. And I also know Denzel was trying to help Patrick, but after an initial scare, Yolande was right to be concerned after Patrick soon gets hooked onto the AI device.

Dinosaur:

This week I watched more of this comedy. Episode 3 saw Nina practicing her conversation with Lee, only to be interrupted by Claudette, and then invited her to an open mic night, but making out they’re just friends, disappointing her. Nina also made it clear on her plans to clay was how he’s not invited, with an email from Amber stating her feelings from the previous episode. But a gesture he did left her feeling flustered. Nina was then reporting to Evie and Danny, using a love island analogy about Lee, and they asked how he said it, and also about Clayton, but stating she can’t talk to them, but Evie and Ranesh encourage her. After many failed attempts do talk to Lee, everyone attends ambers baby drenching, with Evie noticing how Ranesh and Ade are alike. Whilst Ambers version of “pin the tale” was happening, Nina was wanting to help Bo, and stating why he likes the shed and his fears of the baby. And Auntie Janey talking about a birthing story and more stories got amber and Nina overwhelmed for different reasons, and the open mic night was a perfect escape for the two and for Evie and Ranesh, but Nina’s bluntness and Clayton coming made Lee more nervous. It was only going to get more chaotic, as Nina talking about bad auditions to Clayton got her to the bottle to escape, with Evie and Ranesh encouraging her to be her “love island”. And just as Lee was once again going to tell Nina how he feels, he was interrupted by his performance, which went surprisingly well. Everyone was congratulating Lee, whilst Amber thanks Nina. Evie was then encouraging Nina to find out who likes her after a drunken joke, and Clayton singing a song for her made her vomit, with Amber reassuring Bo of his worries. It then ended with Nina sending a drunken message to both lee and Clayton. Oh dear… Episode 4 picked up where we left off from, where Nina drunkenly sent a PDF of her erotic book, reminding Evie  about not picking up the socials cues when talking about “feelers”. It was also funny to see Nina, Evie and Ranesh hungover and Bo finding out about the story, with Nina being worried about being late for work (relatable), and why she did it. Evie was then reminding Nina that it strongly links with her, and then explaining the plan about his to tackle it. At the museum, Lee revealed to have an new phone, and the revelation of his tablet told a lie about the emails. And whilst he was needing to change the coffee, she got Declan to help stall him whilst she gets the tablet. Int the office, Declan and Nina were making it clear of Clay’s role to him, and Nina asking him to delete the email. Whilst Declan was suggesting passwords for Nina, and a song from her ordered by Clay got him to delete the email, only to have him read the email already. Afterwards, Lee worked out she took the tablet, and after a reference of 1793, Lee was surprisingly chill, and asked him out to Ade’s tough dad run, specifically him and no work friends. Before then, everyone talking about Nina’s book “romancing the bone” and made it clear to everyone Lee can’t find out. It’s safe to say Lee enjoyed coming round and seeing Ade compete, with Ranesh motivating him to keep going. It just confirmed Lee was having a good time with Diane getting two people set up, and Bo thanking Evie, Nina and Ranesh. But even I was gutted when Bo revealed the secret accidentally, causing friction between Nina and lee. Nina was trying to blame it on the social cues and a comment from lee made her feel insecure. It then ended with Clay trying to cheer her up whilst Lee was heartbroken, and it’s safe to say the love triangle is in full flow.

Bridgerton:

This week I watched the last two episodes of part 1 and the first episode of part 2 of the popular saucy regency drama. Episode 3: “the field next to the other road”, saw Sophie introducing herself and telling Benedict it’ll rain due to the consolations, which he initially didn’t believe. They then made a detour at his cottage and Sophie using a tactic to get in, followed by showing Benedict how to light a fire. Benedict then lead Sophie to to the guest room, insisting the old dresses were his sisters. Benedict was then struggling with his injuries, prompting Sophie bless her to come to the rescue using her skills, but he was soon having visions of her as “The Lady In Silver”, little knowing it’s her. Lady Whistledown was then releasing m her latest column on the topics of maids, with a maid war commencing. The Crabtree's were then wondering what’s going on, with Benedict explaining the situation. Back at the Bridgerton household, Mrs Wilson was convinced that everything is in hand, and after Francesca revealed she had plans with Colin and Penelope, Violet revealed that Eloise will have a rest from suitors, but only to chaperone hyacinth. At the Featherington's, Prudence was telling a funny story, with Varley interrupting them by revealing she got an offer from another household, rejecting it but wanting a pay rise in which Portia will think about it. At “Benedict’s cottage”, Mrs Crabtree was asking about Sophie’s necklace, then telling a story at breakfast, with Benedict surprised by Sophie’s eating. Mrs Crabtree then convinced him he needs to rest until he’s fully recovered, and Benedict asking Sophie about leisure. To prove a point, she tried to do just that, only to get her dress dirty and Benedict being amused by her. At the palace, Charlotte was wondering why lady Whilstledown is writing about maids, with lady Danbury backing her up saying that the maids are gossip. We then saw Francesca bless her asking about her queries of being with child after getting intimate with John, and secretly unsure of what “achieving her pinnacle is”. At the Crabtree house, Sophie was exploring and revealed benedict sent word about finding work for her and her colleague, and asking about his work, complimenting it and Benedict being amused by her art knowledge, and a charged moment when giving Benedict French tips was interrupted by Mrs Crabtree. At the featheringtons, Portia revealed she can’t give Varley a pay rise, and a gift of Portia old dresses made her less than impressed. After having another carriage moment (which I wasn’t expecting), Colin and Penelope met Francesca and John for afternoon tea, with Francesca asking Penelope about “the pinnacle”, whilst Alice and lady Danbury going on a promenade, where she confided in Alice about her friendship with the queen and Alice saying something that got her thinking. At the cottage, Mrs Crabtree was reminding Sophie she’s Benedict’s guest and reassured her Benedict would help her find work, getting her to learn to remember her place if news about dating him comes out. Meanwhile, Violet was distracted by Marcus at a garden event, and asked her why she’s avoiding him, clearly flustered and “in bloom”. But it’s clear that The Penwoods coming to the party got everyone talking. And Benedict was getting bored staying indoors, and dragged Sophie to come outside, and trying to impress her with the kite, both flying jt together, and the Crabtrees seeing the two of them and wanting the gossip, and reminding him of the rules. I also felt Eloise when she was chaperoning her when Hyacinths lesson was taking place, and Francesca was asking Violet about “the pinnacle”, explaining what it is in her own way which I also didn’t quite understand. Back at the cottage, Sophie was exploring another part of the estate, surprised to see Benedict, telling him it’s her “daily walk” and complimenting her on her new dress, leading to a kiss. But soon Mrs Crabtree was telling Benedict off and reminding him of Sophie’s status, convinced she’s a guest and he told her of the lady in silver of the masquerade ball, with Mrs Crabtree gave him newfound inspiration to keep going, little knowing it’s actually Sophie. Varley meanwhile was wondering about the new dresses after mentioning previously about the money, resulting in Varley getting fired, and during a bon bon sharing, lady Danbury asked Charlotte about her new lady in waiting, with her having an idea after not wanting something dull (and I think I know who it is too). Back at the cottage, Benedict was back to his drawing whilst both agreeing about going back to London now that he’s fully recovers, apologising got kissing her but secretly heartbroken. It was the followed by Francesca revealing she doesn’t know what a pinnacle is, with Penelope giving a clear answer, and how it’s not just through love making and using a biscuit analogy when Eloise asks them. But one person who was about to reach her “pinnacle moment” soo was Violet, revealing she wants to take things deeper with Marcus, but wanting it to be a secret and is happy for being honest with him. It then ended with Lady whistledowns next column being released about things going back to how they were. Episode 4: “An Offer From A Gentleman”, saw Benedict and Sophie returning to London, asking about her new employer, only to find out her new job is at Bridgerton house. Understandably, she was refusing to work, but after Benedict revealed no one else wants her, he made it clear of the boundaries, wanting to help. Violet was adamant that there was no positions, but Benedict showing his injury she helped with and revealed about the Cavenders eventually got her the job. Lady whistledowns column was then released, with Mrs Wilson suspecting of Violet and Marcus, and talking about portraits. At the house, Mrs Wilson was giving Sophie the lowdown, and making friends with John, which was then followed by Gregory returning, and everyone being surprised by his palate.  Benedict also revealed to Violet about his hunt for the lady in silver, offering her services. It’s safe to say that Sophie is settling into her new role whilst Gregory has his first shave. I can also imagine Sophie’s excitement when Hazel came to the house, revealing Benedict helping her. Meanwhile Hyacinth was having her dance lesson and Eloise refusing to watch, but Sophie mentioning the topic of books got her liking Sophie and hyacinth feeling a little but frustrated. At Kilmartin house, Francesca was trying to be spontaneous whilst the servants and maids have a game, followed by preparing for lady Danbury’s dinner. It was then followed by Violet asking Mrs Wilson about “evening tea”, and using Francesca hosting the dinner as an excuse to happen, and Violet reflecting on what Mrs Wilson said about living life. Meanwhile, Sophie was thanking Benedict for her and Hazel, leading to a charged moment when Sophie adjusts his shirt. Elsewhere in London, Lady Danbury was wanting to know about Benedict, with Penelope wondering if she’s been a pawn for Charlotte, and Alice offered to help. Violet was then asking Francesca about hosting a dinner whilst Eloise and Hyacinth talk about Sophie and her knowledge of books. At the local, the husbands and Benedict talking about his search for the lady in silver, and talking about mistresses, with Benedict reflecting on his own journey of love. Violet then checked in with Sophie, asking about her past, only revealing half of the truth and stating her happiness in the countryside, and Violet offering Sophie a permanent position should she take it. During a catch up with Lady Danbury, Violet was talking about wanting to protect Sophie, whilst she asked about Alice who may have a candidate for Benedict’s Lady In Silver, and then talking about stuff i and if it’s making them selfish, when in fact it’s the complete opposite, repeating Mrs Wilson’s words. Whilst John was being a real sweetheart when talking about their “spontaneous side” following a passionate encounter, was Sophie admiring the stars and sharing a nice moment with Benedict, clearly smitten and revealed about a permanent contract. Benedict was also being sweet when he made it clear that he didn’t want to pressure her into staying if she doesn’t want to. Let’s just say that it got Sophie trying to “feel things”, whilst Violet preps for her “evening tea”. At the palace, Lady Danbury was bringing Alice to Charlotte and giving her the lowdown, and revealed of Benedict’s “lady in silver”, and offering her to be a new lady in waiting, surprising her in the process. Lady Whilstledown’s latest column was talking about the end of the maid wars, the new neighbours and cravings for things which some of them may not be appropriate for society. Violet then revealed that Miss Hollis could be the lady in silver, which resulted in Benedict meeting her and actually believing it. But when asking about hobbies, he got distracted by Sophie again, causing another accident and soon revealed she didn’t attend the ball. Soon afterwards, Sophie made it clear of the boundaries, and ask making it clear she can’t stay, making a comment on him being a bachelor got him hurt, and Sophie equally heartbroken,. Back at Kilmartin house, John was sensing that Francesca was faking “the pinnacle”, but enjoyed what it was before and him reassuring her of being there for her and likes her just the way she is. But I know that after seeing spoilers, and after doing the research of the books, things are about to get emotional. Meanwhile, Lady Danbury was visiting the Mondrichs, and Alice refused to be the new lady in waiting. But she  was soon reassured her she’s worthy, with lady Danbury talking about her past and how the queen earns her friendship, encouraging her to rise, seeing Will equally pleased. Violet then saw Benedict and asked why he declined Francesca’s invitation for dinner, revealing that he has “stuff to do” and ending for pursuit for the lady in silver. Violet was wondering why it is, and him talking about reality being where life is promoted her to giving him some advice. Back in the maids chamber, Hazel and John were playing cards, and Mrs Wilson gave them a night off, on the condition they’re out of the house and Sophie being offered to join them at the tavern. She then revealed to Mrs Wilson about staying at Bridgerton house, pleasing her.  At their home, Francesca was thanking everyone for coming whilst wondering why Violet and Benedict are, claiming they’re ill. Hyacinth was quick to compliment her home but Eloise making a comment on it soon got Hyacinth wondering if she’s only interested in herself, which struck a chord. But the drama was abo to unfold when Michaela comes back unexpectedly, making Francesca uneasy. We also saw Benedict continuing his drawings whilst Violet has her “evening tea” with Marcus, and after Sophie forgot her coin purse got Benedict coming in, only for an intimate moment between them. But the comment of the mistress put her off, and I can see why it was a moment on Gogglebox to watch. It then ended with Lady Whilstledowns column taking place, whilst Violet reflects on the night with Marcus, and ending with the challenges of playing a new game, also revealing with the Penwoods are the new neighbours and Varley being their new maid. Episode 5: “yes or no”, saw Lady Whistledown talking about mistresses, targeting Lord Hiscox and how opposites attract, with Benedict sending a letter to Sophie, who burns it and refusing to meet. We also saw Violet waking up from her “evening tea” with Marcus, wondering if Mrs Wilson overslept, and worrying about Hyacinth, but soon got distracted by Marcus, and it’s safe to say her garden is in full bloom… Portia was also talking about the latest column, but Penelope was clearly tired of writing about people. We then saw Sophie meeting Alfie and talking about the “New Lady Penwood”, whilst keeping the Bridgerton's quiet, but soon explained the situation, convinced they can’t be together. But Alfie explained the positives, but wanting to move on which is why she met him. Benedict was then meeting Will, talking about Alice and about calling Sophie his mistress, and Will gave him some great advice about how to make it acceptable in society and thinking about her feelings. Whilst that was happening, Alice was being fitted, with Lady Danbury supporting her, reminding Charlotte of how she’s the one who suggested a candidate for “the lady in silver”, and gaining her support her when she hesitates of the suggestion. At the Kilmartin house, Francesca was clearly disturbed by Michaela’s suggestion to move breakfast when she overhears her and John. We also saw Hyacinth refusing to have Eloise in her lessons, and soon changed her mind when Violet mentions about The Marriage Mart, followed by Sophie wanting a letter of introduction, convinced it’s nothing to do with Benedict, which she accepts until after the recital. Violet then confided in Mrs Wilson about if Sophie is hiding something, talking about her past and mentioning about Marcus coming to the recital. Varley was seen talking about the history of Araminta, with the family talking about the Bridgertons and the shoe clips going missing, immediately pinning the blame on Sophie. In the village, we also saw Eloise talking to Francesca about Hyacinth, with Sophie spotting Benedict, who has a plan to help Hyacinth linking to a feather. It was then followed by talking to Sophie about the stairwell, and refusing to be his mistress. At the Featheringtons, Penelope was overhearing Rae talking to the mistress miss Virginia of mr hiscox about the impact of what she wrote, and requested her help, claiming he loved him. It was also there start of a heart break to come, as John was feeling ill which Francesca noticed, and mentioned how micheala helped her but Francesca made her feelings of her clear, with John revealing she wants to enter the spinsterhood. Elsewhere, Alice refused to spy on the Bridgertons, but Will stated otherwise, and lady Danbury reminded her that it’s for their best interest. We also saw Benedict finding mr Hiscox and talking about lady Whistledowns column, and his two options of what to do next gave Benedict food for thought. Back at Bridgerton House, everyone getting ready for Hyacinth’s recital, whilst Sophie looks at Benedict’s drawings, only for Benedict to come in and declaring their feelings for each other, but asking more questions about being “his mistress” and making her boundaries clear. We then saw Varley talking to some Mrs Wilson and the maids about Lady Penwood and about Sophie, with one of them mentioning another miss Beak, whilst The husbands of the featheringtons and Bridgertons help with Gregory’s romance lessons, where a lesson from Colin got Benedict thinking. We also saw Michaelas soirée taking place, and a comment from a gentleman got her thinking, whilst Violet told Gregory and Hyacinth about Marcus, which they weren’t bothered about and refusing eloise’s gift, and Mrs Wilson got information about Sophie, with Violet gutted about it. We then saw  Araminta nearly sacking Varley, but soon revealed the information about Sophie. It then came to Hyacinths recital taking place, with Gregory having no luck at fee and Hyacinth meeting Alice and Wills son. The dance took place where despite some hiccups, Gregory got noticed and Hyacinth being disgusted by one person attitude and Eloise getting hounded by suitors. We then saw Marcus and Violet getting closer (which Benedict noticed), and Alice and Will finding out Miss Hollis is not the lady in silver, and Benedict and Sophie getting interrupted by chaperoning Hyacinth. At the palace, Penelope and Lady Danbury met Charlotte again, who queried on why she kept them anonymous, and a speech for reason was denied. Back at the Kilmartins house, Michaela thanked Francesca, who sensed she was set up, and John was irritated by her, soon talking with her about time in Scotland and her insecurities, with Michaela reassuring her. It was then revealed she was secretly worrying about him, and soon put their differences aside. Lady Whistledowns latest column was then talking about if the world itself is the problem, whilst Alice and Will decided to leave, and Sophie noticing Benedict, but soon finds out about Araminta being the new neighbour, with Violet stopping Benedict when he chases her, who soon clapped back at Violet about Marcus. In the room, Sophie refused to answer and explained her hurt, and Benedict finally revealing his feelings and the same with her, with them consummating their feelings. If Alice overheard them, it’s going to be quite the scandal.

Heated Rivalry:

This week I watched more of the show that got everyone on social media talking. Episode 3: “Hunter”, primarily focused on captain of the New York Admirals Scott Hunter. It all started in February 2014 being at the Olympics, with Scott and his teammate spotting Shane, in a similar scenario of the last episode. We then went back 4 months earlier, which focused on Scott and his disappearance from the game. We then da whim going into a place called “straw+berry” and finding worker Christopher aka Kip, clearly attracted to him, and got him try a unique smoothie. I can imagine his surprise to Scott tipping him, and friends Kyle, Maria and Shawn talking about it, who told him he likes him. Scott then came back and got talking about his methods, with Kip talking about the game. He then met friend Elena to talk about him, convincing him to see him, and Scott coming in on game day was a sign, and made it clear that his favourite smoothie is on the house. I was quite amused when Scott and Kip were talking about serial killers whilst flirting, with Scott inviting Kip to the game. If that’s not a sign I don’t know what is. He also invited Elena, who was convinced that Scott likes him. Two days later saw him and Ilya, and the next day saw him encountering Shane, resulting in a fight which was watched by Kip. I’m assuming Kip’s dad is accepting of his sexuality, as I liked how encouraging he was when he woke up late, and it was good to see Scott defending him when he spills a dish. We also need a friend like Shawn, who wasn’t going to fire him but encouraged him to keep calm, knowing the amount of pressure he’s under. Scott was continuing to back up kip after the accident, and invited him for dinner. But the line being too long meant he took in the offer of ordering at Scott’s apartment, being amazed and soon led to getting intimidate with Scott, revealing his feelings and inviting him to stay. It was also sweet to see Scott waking up to finding Kip in the kitchen, wanting to surprise him, soon getting his “breakfast”. There was also a nice heartwarming moment when Scott revealed it was his first time with a man, with them then opening up about their life, and can’t come out I fear of being let down, but talked about how it’s different with Kip, who understood his situation. We then saw Scott and kip spending a good few days together, with Kip making out he’s staying at elenas and his friends noticing it, with his colleague asking about it when asking about the smoothie. We then saw Scott (who’s in disguise), and Kip going to an art gallery, who wants to be in the downlow and was comforted by Kip when he panics. It then led to Kip buying something for Scott whilst he preps for his touring game, liking the present. It turned out it was a pair of socks resembling the smoothie flavour, and Elena wanting to know him and Scott. When she came to asking if he told his dad, he told her of Scott not wanting to come out yet, and asking about an event. Kip then got a text from Scott whilst also getting a call from his dad, talking about work and a family dinner, only for Scott to give him his tuxedo. Kip bless him was in a state of panic at the event, whilst Scott was talking about his progress, whilst keeping it cool with the two of them together, and him being okay with Elena knowing. During a dance, Elena talked to Scott about his intentions with Kip, wondering why he’s keeping him a secret, but only saying it because he wants what’s best for him and or Scott, which marks true friendship right there. But it looks like there’s a strain of the relationship when Kip invited Scott to his birthday, with the location being in a gay bar, but turned him down, with Kip understanding why but also explaining how he doesn’t want to lie to his family. It then resulted in. Him leaving to go home, and we got to see Scotts speech, talking about his heartbreaking past and how hockey helped him, with Kip reflecting on the night. We then saw Kip coming home, clearly heartbroken but celebrated his birthday with his dad and friends whilst Scott watched on. Back at the Sochi Olympics, Scott was still wearing the socks Kip got, clearly still not over him. Episode 4: “Rose”, saw Ilya scoring streak breaking Shane, and in the Summer of 2014, it saw the two of them text each other and living their separate lives, with Ilya clubbing and Shane having a photoshoots, whilst getting intimate, Ilya being pleased for Shane when he wins a game. It was the same for summer 2015, where Shane won a tournament again. Summer 2016 saw repeat, with Ilya being less interested and having problems at home. We then moved to October 2016 in Montreal to find out the wife of Shane’s teammate Hayden’s called Jackie is pregnant, and also asking Shane about wanting a family of his own, making out “Jessica” is his ex. Hayden then recommended Jackie’s friend, and I can only imagine his thoughts when some fans mistakenly thought he was a parent. We then saw Ilya watching Shane in Boston, with Svetlana asking about “Jane”. His teammate was teasing Shane about “Lily”, but soon went to see Ilya, and the conversation about his house soon changed when he got them intimate. This resulted in Ilya offering Shane to stay, which he accepts, and they were then talking about the next destinations, and also about hockey player Ryan price and his real personality. It then changed into their favourite places to play and Ilya going into a deep conversation and about his female friend. During a tuna melt sandwich, Ilya questioned Shane on his sexuality, who admits to liking both men and women, but it was  interrupted by a call from his father about Alexei. But the tension soon turned into passion, but calling each other by their first names got Shane panicking and wanting to end things. During a family dinner, Yuna was asking Shane about Rolex and Wimbledon, adamant about not wanting to meet anyone, with david noticing his tension and suggested the Wimbledon trip. At first he felt hesitant, but soon changed his mind. Shane then got a call from JJ talking about a cast of his favourite film coming down, soon getting recognised and asking about the cast, with the main one called Rose Landery being there, only to find her unexpectedly and getting to know each other. I could make out if there was chemistry or not, as Rose accidentally revealing a secret in a film and Shane keeping it secret was definitely a sign. Shane then talked about his life and how it became intense. We then saw Shane and Rose continuing to get to know each other, playing poker with her and his friends, seemingly getting closer. I can only imagine Ilya’s frustration upon seeing an article on Shane and Rose, irritating him, and for it to be broadcasting it on the game and making news. 2 weeks later in Montreal saw Shane against Ilya, with Rose inviting him to meet after the game. After commentators notified about Shane and Ilya being a no show, Ilya resorted to clubbing. We then witnessed Shane and Rose meeting in the club and her cast mates, which Ilya spotted him. As revenge, it then resorted in Ilya hooking up with someone else which was spotted by Shane, who made an excuse to go to the bathroom. We were then Shane going to Rose’s house for a night together, and Ilya in his apartment, still thinking about Shane and Shane thinking about him.

Personal:

Exercise:

This weeks exercise consisted of my regular gym routine, but only one bike ride. I replaced one of the bike rides with yoga, as I felt my body needing to recharge. And I definitely think it was the best idea, as not only did I get to 10k in 13mins and 15secs on my only bike ride, but I got to 15k more or less at the 20 minute mark. I guess my batteries were needed to be charged, and with it being the week of my birthday (which I’ll mention in “Birthday”, I think I was trying to save some room for the food!

Darts:

This weeks practices consisted of landing on a double 1 after 5 bust scored and 24 missed match darts, and my extra day off resulted in landing on double 5 after 1 bust score and 7 missed match darts. On my birthday however, I couldn’t quite exactly finish the game due to getting frustrated and my energy levels dropping. But at least I got some decent scores and good shots as seen below!

Cooking:

This week I made speedy salmon fish cakes. Yes it got a little bit sticky, but I haven’t made it in a long time, so I was nice to do something I haven’t done in a while. It tasted nice too, and it was also a hit with the family.

Survey:

This week I managed to do an extra day of surveys. With having an extra day off of my “proper job”, I had that time to do more of this self care activity, and following the birthday celebrations, this was something I definitely needed. The perfect Johnny to help me keep calm and help me relaxed.

Birthday:

This week was the week where I turned that little bit older. Despite me and my dads original pan not happening (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), we had a takeaway from our local service station whilst we binge-watched Coronation Street, along with me having a Greggs later on. A brilliant idea and something that’s both enjoyable and relaxing.

On my actual birthday, I tucked into a KFC with the family and had a delicious steak and chips. It was a really relaxing day, but I must say all the socialising really wore me out. But all in all, it was a brilliant day, and I got some lovely presents from my family and had some good quality time that was well spent! Both myself and Margo were tired from the day lol!

Premier League of Darts:

This weeks tournament took us to Belfast, and there was a lot to like. Despite not winning on home soil, Josh Rock really made an impact on the crowd, and I always say if you’re going to loose, loose on a 9 darter. And he did just that, and it was his first one of the premier league. But good on Gian Van Veen for showing good sportsmanship. But ultimately, it was Stephen Bunting who took the win, and I really felt for him when he got abit emotional, as I have a feeling he had abit of hate going into the tournament. Who would hate the man, he’s competitive for the right reasons, and he seems like a nice person on and off camera. I feel like if he carries on like this, he could be potentially in the running for play offs week.

Gladiators:

This week I watched the quarter finals of the iconic game show. This week saw Ellie vs Naomi, and Mark be Tyler. “Collision” saw not just the contenders going down but also their shoes, and new event “Suspension Bridge” saw the gladiators reigning supreme. Although it was fairly close between Naomi and Sabre. But “Crash Course” saw Mark having to bow out due to sustaining an injury, which was obviously heartbreaking but you obviously have to follow medical advice when it comes to situations like this. But that also meant we saw Josh fill in, who was the second fastest loser. “Destruction” was an epic showdown, and “The Wall” saw both male and female contenders making it to the top, and Josh hanging on for dear life and Hammer getting his shoe and sock as a result. And “The Eliminator” was quite possibly the most entertaining one as always. Ellie managed to get the lead, but an error meant Naomi grabbed her semi-final place, and despite Tyler’s head start, Josh managed to catch up and grab that place. I can’t wait for the next quarter finals, and to see who will be the fastest runner up.

Britains Got Talent:

Episode 2 of the iconic show was weird and wonderful. Heavy Metal band SOS brought the stage down with their own version of a song by the backstreet boys (although I would like to hear their own songs), and Macdhand & Delby did a brilliant freestyle song without even preparing. After many bad instruments, Niamh Noade managed to change Simon’s mind about the harp with a beautiful cover of “Ordinary”. Baron and Vesper had the judges and audience on edge, and Sonny Green gave a beautiful piece about England. Yes poetry is like marmite (you either love it or hate it), but when it’s done right, it’s done brilliantly, and Sonny is one of those people that got it right. But Rafferty Coope was a golden buzzer act fully deserved, and even I was shocked by one of his tricks, that’s when you know it’s good. I can’t wait to see what next week has in store.

Gogglebox.

This week the Goggleboxers got up to more shenanigans. Shaun was talking about his karaoke song to Tom and Julie, and Mary was showing Giles a new microwave. Aunty Margaret came round to show Ellie and Izzi her new coat, The Siddiqui's talked about a shaving routine. Sue was talking to Steve about a carvery delivery, and Pete was telling Sophie about his life hack. Izzi was telling Ellie about their mum falling down the stairs, and Amira and Amani talking about their last food before they fast for Ramadan. There was also some brilliant reactions from the latest stuff on the box set. “Britain's Got Talent” saw Leiwi from Taiwan do a dangerous act, impressing and terrifying the Goggleboxers, and “The Heat” saw Tom burning the caramel. The “BBC News” showing more of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsors scandals, and “Alice Roberts: Our Hospital Through Time” talked about bladders stones in 17th century and how to get them out, freaking out me and the Gogglebox. The “ITV news” saw the arrest on Lord Mandleson, and “Ed Stafford Rite of Passage” saw Ed to a Bullet Ant ritual to gain into a tribe. Finally, “56 days” seeing the Goggleboxers watching a saucy thriller, with a freaky twist which I wasn’t expecting, and “Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich” showed a distillery using the flavours of a unusual item, making the Goggleboxers and myself uncomfortable.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

This weeks challenge included my dad feeling poorly therefore having to have a plan B with regards to one of my my birthday celebrations. But all I can say is thank god for Burger King that’s only 5 minutes walk, as with my dad not having one in ages, it was the perfect meal to kick off my celebrations. That and binge watching Coronation Street was also good. On top of that, this week would’ve been the week where the next showcase in West Bridgeford took place. I’m just glad I didn’t do it in the end, as even though I didn’t catch my dads illness, there was parts of me that worried about having traces of it. Let’s just say it’s better to be safe than sorry.

What have I learnt this week? Yes it’s important to focus on your goals, but it’s also important to make memories with your loved ones. And my birthday this week gave me the opportunity to do just that!

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
