The Gypsy Gangster On The Big Screen, A Meal I Made Myself & The Last Of The Auditions!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week saw me watching the movie starring the iconic gangster, making a dinner which I can now say I can more or less do myself, and watching the last of the auditions for the next Royal Variety performer. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 6th April 2026:
Professional:
Job Applications:
This week I got into more applications for potential new acting jobs. Some of them required prescreens, and I had to use this prop as seen below. Whilst I didn’t get them all in on time (which I’ll explain more in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), I at least managed to get into that mindset of applying. And that’s all that matters I guess.

Emailing Casting Directors:
This week I drafted some emails to casting directors. I didn’t do all of them, so I only drafted emails based on what I’ve done that’s more relevant. And also with a performance coming soon, I was also taking into consideration which ones to email and invite (as I know there will be some that can’t make it due to location). But I’m glad that I got started, and that whoever I didn’t email, I can simply do it a few weeks after.
Content Posting:
This week I managed to post one of my videos of a scene linking to a technique I’ve been learning that is Stella Adler. I’m glad I posted it now, as it was long overdue and I needed to send it to a casting director that had the same style and tone of this scene. And I however many likes it gets, I’m glad I got it out in the open. Click the link below to watch the full video.

Acting Class:
This week we moved onto scripts to record and film to keep that acting muscle going. But not before we played a warm up game where the main lesson is to observe and see when people are lying or telling the truth. This was a very interesting insight, and as someone who isn’t great at telling lies within reason, it’s given me a few ideas. When it came to looking at the script, I knew which one I wanted to do. With needing more comedy stuff, this is the perfect opportunity to get it filmed. I can’t wait to work on it, get it filmed and sent to casting directors!

Act On This Podcast:
This weeks podcast was with Laura Windows. I really enjoyed this session, and she gave lots of advice on emailing, updating my profile and how I don’t need to binge watch a whole series to audition for her projects, but as long as I know the feel of the world the show is set, I’m only a winner. Overall, a brilliant session, and providing I have everything in order, she may be the next person I email next.

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 7th-15th April. Because a lot of stuff was combined, I’ll talk about what happened in each episode from my perspective instead. 7th Will denying the rumours about him and Megan to Liam, whilst Sam tries to confront Will about his so call allegation. Ben meanwhile was reflecting on his past, with Eva reassuring him with Sean sensing the tension, reporting it with Lauren and Gemma, with Lauren asking Ollie about it. But we then saw Ben telling Ollie that he knew about the heart condition but was wanting to keep a secret from Will, as Lauren confronted him about it with Sean revealing she and Gemma knew too, but it was going to come out anyway. Things were about to get more awkward when Steve, Cassie and Amy came in to let him know about the text and awkwardly mentioned that she’s always there to talk. Cassie was then reminding Ben and Steve tat it’s not their fault, with Sean explaining why he told the staff, but a comment from Lauren got Ben losing his temper. Meanwhile, Will was trying to twist what Sam said, but after Nick told Leanne and Toyah on Sam’s well-being, with Eva confronting them about who’s lying. Elsewhere, Ryan was impressing Debbie with his cocktail hour, and was making the most of her return but sparked concern about when Tracy and Mary came in to chat with their clients. As it saw Debbie interrupting the business meeting and eventually got them to leave. At her flat, Debbie was making a phone call with Ronnie coming in, reminding her to take things easy after Ryan told him what happened. Sally was also preparing Tim to meet Trisha (and his worry about his loyalty card was quite entertaining) whilst he had a plan on his to tackle it. But it wasn’t much luck as Tim revealed that Trisha is in Spain, whilst he was doing a shop. And David found Jodie next door where afterwards she got fired for the prank, where in fact it’s a joke, which I felt it was part of her plan to get revenge. 8th saw Sam allegedly spotting Megan and Will. At the Bistro, Nick was trying to hide his disgust on a new coffee, which was interrupted by Sam who claimed to have seen Will and Megan. Steve was also moaning about Maggie’s revelation with Tim also moaning about Trisha, and getting a call for a taxi run which Tim took out of distraction. And Eva not convinced that Sam saw Will and Megan when he, Toyah, Nick and Leanne came in, with Ollie confirming he was with him. Meanwhile, Nina was reassuring Summer whilst Amy talked about her family problems, with Amy finding out Will didn’t know about Maggie’s revelation when chatting to Will. He in turn confronted Ben about the revelation, with him dismissing Steve, wanting to take it all in. But soon Steve was apologising to Tim about Ben, where he after Brian joined them, he revealed that seeing Will gave him a wake up call, and Brian and Steve supported him with his decision. Eva then took it upon herself to gather the family for an intervention, where Sam may have realised he made a mistake, being reminded of Megan having more victims. But whilst Leanne and Eva talking about the heart condition and Eva’s worry for Ben and convinced will and Megan was in the past, Sam was still feeling paranoid bless him. Elsewhere, Jodie was babysitting Connie whilst talking to Carla about being her own boss, with Lisa coming home from work to reveal a culprit called Terry, with Jodie cancelling a coffee to reveal a paperwork meaning she can marry Carla. I was also wondering what was going on when Jodie was looking through Lisa’s files and her badge, taking it from in the process. After Jodie sent pictures of Connie, Lisa apologised to her, but still took her badge. And Summer was on a mission, as she kept asking Debbie if she k ew more about the crash, who denied it go not recall the past, but soon caught her lying about Carl, with her getting overwhelmed and burning her hands. And whilst Ben was praising Ronnie for being with Debbie, he got a call about Debbie. Carl was then bringing Debbie back from the hospital, and be tried to lighten the mood, which didn’t help when Debbie revealed her symptoms are getting worse. He then tired to convince her he wants to be a part of her life, revealing about Summer not having any proof of her telling the truth, with Ronnie coming in to take over. Ronnie was them asking if the plate situation is linked to her dementia, soon suggesting an MRI to double check even if it meant going private. 9th (directed by Kevin Boyle), saw Christina trying to make a small talk whilst Bernie saw Jodie on her phone. Christina then told Sarah and Bernie about Shuttleworths, and Sarah herself soon revealed Todd’s lack of communication. She then managed to find Todd, who didn’t message in fear of Theo seeing them she then bravely decided to come into the flat to speak to Todd, and how if he’s scared of Theo after seeing him message or reply. They were then chatting about the old times, and a comment of one moment of the “old Todd” got him triggered, with Sarah reminding him to not shut her or George out. But when Theo came back, Todd’s lie about needing a caffeine boost wasn’t convinced by him, who eventually found Sarah. Soon an awkward cup of tea got Theo trying to play the good guy, but as soon as she left, he turned into the bad guy. Elsewhere, Ronnie and Debbie came back from the MRI, but he was shaken when he reveals the results to say her symptoms were worse. Everyone, which were Kevin and Ronnie, was also disgusted by Carl flirting with Jodie, but soon bringing up Debbie. This then prompted him coming to see her at the hotel, who revealed her symptoms are getting worse and soon blames himself, with Debbie reassuring him to let him know that she loved him since the day he was born. Ronnie then found Carl and Debbie, wanting to draw a line under it. But whilst Kevin was convinced it’s a bad idea, Ronnie asked him to help with his plan. There was also more drama with the Battersby/Driscolls, as Sarah revealed to Nick about Sam’s wellbeing. Ben came in to buy some bottles from the Bistro, and it was nice of him to make them free of charge due to the situation. He then suggested a get together, which Sam tried to hide his fear. After Tim was checking in on Kevin who reported back to him on the results, he was also checking in on Ben and gave some advice to him when it comes to siblings. I do also think there’s more to it when Sam bumped into christina, with him seeing Will berating him. Meanwhile, Bernie denied Gemma’s offer to pick up the kids due to being distracted with Jodie on her phone, bringing up Mal in the process. It then got Bernie having another go at her , and leaving early, with Jodie wanting to plot revenge on Mal which Gemma liked. 10th (directed by Kevin Boyle), saw Theo coming back home after getting some milk, soon bullying Todd about his lack of sleep. Whilst that was happening, Sarah was reporting her findings to Christina and summer with George hearing it. But George had bigger things in his mind, as he was meeting a salesman about the sale. Gary made it clear of his feelings for Theo, with Carl mocking him in the process. Theo was then trying to get in Gary’s head and denied being violent to Danielle, miles and Millie, followed by ringing Sarah about a plan. This resulted in Sarah meeting Danielle to talk about Theo, soon getting annoyed when asking about it and being caught by both Theo and Todd who tried to twist her brain, and soon threatening Sarah. In the midst of all this, Christina cheered up George with a new shirt, whilst Sarah reassured Gary that inviting Danielle wasn’t his fault, whilst the two of them talk with George and Christina about it, and making a joke about “bumping Theo off” didn’t help. Soon Theo came back to the flat from town drunk, and revealed about his “job in Belfast”, convincing Todd that be is being poisoned. Elsewhere, Nina’s bat hunt announcement was cut short when Roy announced that Mal is leaving Weatherfield, getting confused as to why. Gemma then came round as Bernie was convinced she knew more, where Gemma eventually revealed Jodie’s help in it and that it’s all in the past. But as Roy was explaining how the bat hunting works, Mal watching on with a plan in place. And it may look like Theo will be in the firing line with the Websters, as it all started with Ronnie telling Kevin a humorous story about a customer whilst revealing a plan to expose Carl linking to Fiona. Debbie was then opening up to Carl about wanting to learn how to dance, with Carl offering to be her partner and Ronnie looking on, getting emotional and reporting it back to Kevin, only for Carl to come in to reveal Fiona told him everything. Summer also still clearly had a few dislikes to him, but soon he was giving her a clue linking to who actually killed Billy. With the Battersby, Nick saw sarah, revealing that hes worried about Sam. But a suggestion from David got Roy involved, as it had Sam coming round to have a chest match with Roy, and a test Nina showed from Mal led to Sam opening up. But I do relate to David on being knackered from his job and vented to Glenda about it. As that is me to a tea. 12th (directed by Kevin Boyle), saw Jodie finding Roy, who came home from Bat watching early due to a fever, with Jodie being given the day off, not knowing that Mal was secretly watching her. Speaking of Mal, Bernie was asking Kit about him, claiming he’ll have said something to the police by now if he were to do it. But disaster soon struck when Carla saw Dev about the cafe being on fire and not noticing Roy is in there, thinking it’s a Bat convention, and after getting her nails done, Jodie came to the rescues, only to find Mal and rescuing Roy. We then saw Sean, Brian and Ken reflecting on Roy whilst Carla came to sit with him, with Bernie confronting Mal, and blaming herself for everything that’s happened. We also saw Todd packing his things for Belfast, and Theo came back from seeing Millie and Miles, claiming that distance will be good for them, and declining an offer to go to the Rovers and even not seeing Summer in person. Speaking of Summer, in the shop she was confiding in Asha about what Carl said, asking if she remembered anything from the night, soon getting a text from Todd. Summer then came round with Theo claiming that she had just missed Todd, and soon asked him on the night of Billy's death and how he moved on. She soon spotted the cases and soon asked Todd about it later on in the Rovers, convincing him not to go, but soon came to reveal about how Theo could have linked to Billy's death. Todd was then opening up about not going, convinced it’s because of Summer and encouraging Theo to go first, but soon the nice guy act was turned down by locking him in his bedroom (which I skipped due to it being hard to watch). Elsewhere, George was meeting a rival of his for an offer and feeling down about it. This was in the time of an appointment with Rupert Coplay, but a deal was interrupted by his past clients to encourage him to keep going, which wasn’t enough. At first… as Christina convinced him she’ll find the money, but George seeing Rupert inspired him to give a speech on why Shutleworths is important, which seemed to have done the trick. And 13th (directed by Kev Boyle), saw Todd still trapped in the bedroom, with Theo berating him (which I skipped some of it as it was hard to watch), and Todd was claiming he changed his mind, convincing him he needed him more and wanted to help him. But Theo was quick into claiming they left already and Todd was in the que to pay at the station, not knowing he was actually still at home, begging Theo to let him out and help him out to gain his trust which he did and offered his support to get him help. Whilst this was going on, Summer was reflecting on Theo and Todd’s “trip”, as she revealed to Carl he was right, and revealed his apology and was willing to find him and get a confession, offering her 10k to get Theo killed (and I’ll get onto it in a moment). Todd was then trying to escape whilst Theo was in the shower, but got caught out when trying to find the keys. I don’t know how he got out, but I’m just glad Sarah found him, and good on Todd for finally seeing the light and wanting to go to the police. Elsewhere after the fire, Bernie came in to see Roy, with Lisa, Carla and Nina coming in, with Lisa asking about Mal and Carla offering Roy to move in with her. Lisa was then confronting Kit about Mal suspecting him in the hospital, who then claimed he has it for anyone connecting with Bernie, which doesn’t convince Lisa. Roy and Nina then came into the house and updating them on the cafe, finding Hayley’s album, and Lisa asking about the warrant card, soon inviting Jodie to a takeaway after rescuing Roy (little did she knew she actually took it). For the Driscolls, Eva and Ben were telling Will about not getting the CCTV footage. Soon it resulted in having an intervention at the bistro, with Ben dragging in Steve and Cassie. Eva was then trying to make a speech on family which didn’t go down well, with Kit and Sarah talking about the case. Debbie meanwhile was gathering Sally, Christina, Glenda and eventually Bernie about going say together, but Bernie had some news about Carl and what she said to Summer. Debbie was then having a go at Carl for what Bernie said, but he soon convinced her that it was a joke. With murder week coming up, Bernie did everything she could to convince her that he’s playing her.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw a horrific crash, a new family linking to one family, and a secret a resident has been keeping, all of them directed by Sean Glynn. Mondays episode saw Frankie’s going away party before she starts her new life at dance school in London. It also saw new family the Keanes moving to the village to surprise their family. During the party, Darren gave a heartfelt speech, and soon she was on the road with Charlie and Vicky (who were both feeling the love for each other). But a quick realisation from Frankie about her ballet shoes that Darren and Nancy gave got them turning back to the village, little do they know that Tony, jack and Leela were also coming to find them. And I think it’s a good job they set off, as soon Charlie’s car and the Keanes van soon collided and resulted in a terrifying crash. But that’s not the only explosive thing happening. Sienna was still trying to convince Cleo about how “she killed Clare”, with Warren berating her for gaslighting her girlfriend. Little did they know that Donny was watching them, and both Cleo and Warren made it clear they don’t want to talk to him. But Dodger was the one who heard Cleo make her claim, and she soon made out she got there “just before Clare fell”. I just don’t know how long that secret can stay buried for, but sienna is definitely achieving her goal of not being caught. And Diane was willing to go to Frankie’s party, knowing that now she’s not having chemotherapy she wants to make the most of the time she has left. But Darren’s speech got her emotional, as Leela comforted her about the little things like this. But when it came to the subject of Kathleen-Angel and Ant, Theresa got defensive, which I get why because she’s worried for her daughter, but good on Leela for giving her a piece of her mind after reminding her of Diane’s situation, knowing that Ant and Kathleen-Angel confiding in each other is something both of them might need. It then got Diane revealing to Nancy of how Leela helping Tony with the kids when she’s gone is a good idea, and judging the look on her face, Mandy agrees. Tuesdays episode saw the crash still going ahead, with Leela, Tony and jack spotting it just in time. Initially scared of doing it after failing to save Peri, Leela performed CPR on Caleb, which worked and thankfully was rescued. We also saw Tony help Jonah rescue Beth from the van, which involved keeping her talking about the day they met (which was quite amusing and romantic), and soon getting rushed to hospital. But a description D the car they crashed into got Jack ringing Charlie, little does he know that he, Frankie and Vicky were stuck somewhere, with Vicky passing out after trying to get help. During this dreadful time, Nancy asked Diane about if Leela Tony helping Tony was weird, but all she was bothered about is needing support for her children. Little do they know that after joking about Frankie and finding a new best friend when Diane is gone, Frankie is in more danger than ever. But it wasn’t the crash that got me hooked. Theresa was insecure after finding Dodger with Cleo, which prompted her to reveal her secret job whilst in Japan, revealing it was to help with her debt. Now Dodger is the perfect example of what a green flag is. As he listened, took it all in, and didn’t judge her at all, and reminded her to not feel guilty after his experience. This honesty made them stronger as a couple, but with Kathleen-Angel overhearing their conversation, something tells me they have more challenges on the way. And Donny eventually came clean about the Clare Devine case after Misbah pointed out that the pizza shop was closed all day, understandably making her furious. But the ultimatum about choosing between the wedding and the case didn’t go down well, and Gemma berated him for wallowing in self pity. But he may need to rethink the decision after someone threw a note about keeping the case closed. The question is… who sent the note? Finally, Wednesdays episode saw the aftermath of the crash continue, with Darren convinced that the description Jonah made wasn’t in the crash, and on asked why Beth was back (but that was for another time. They then got Gemma asking if Charlie stayed at Vickys, whilst she thought that vicky was staying with them. And further suspicion was made when Nancy got a call about Frankie not making it to London. But in came Leela, who also felt that something wasn’t right, so she and Dodger went back to the scene of the crash, only to find Vicky, Charlie and Frankie. It was at that moment as well where Caleb woke up from his surgery, but was told that he might be able to walk for a long time, and Jonah was adamant that he’d kill the person who caused it. So I think Charlie might need ti watch out when Beth hears that he was the one driving… Elsewhere in the village, Theresa and Dodger were finally getting back on track. But things were going to get more challenging when she finds out that Kathleen-Angel revealed she overheard everything about Japan, and disgraced Theresa for it. And banning her from seeing Ant is not going to help. Elsewhere, Donny was still on the warpath despite Gemma telling him to let it go, and there may be an affair coming along when Warren admitted that the dark side of Sienna is what made him fall in love with her. This was then questioned by Jenson, who soon came to Warren’s defence when Donny tried to get an answer out of him. But it only made Warren’s anger worse, and made it clear he doesn’t need anyone in his corner.
Eastenders:
This week saw a blackmail, competition between a father and daughter, and a resident teaching breaking point mentally. Mondays episode saw Vicki and Ross’ stag and hen do taking place. But Vicki was not in the mood for celebrating as she was secretly sacred about Ross bringing home Joel. But after talking about it with Kathy, and during the hen itself (where it was all 60s glam and it was nice to see Yolande letting her hair down) she confided it in the others when talking about what first attracted her to him. But they reminded her about how he stood up for her in court, and decided to celebrate the night away. But one person who found out was Sam, who encouraged him to fight for what he wants. It made things abit awkward knowing they were in the same place as ross’ stag do, which was an indoor sports day, which was typical of Ian Beale to organise. Ian was wanting to make sure Ross looked after her, and Ian was made the best man. And Zack being asked to be a stripper after Mark declined only got more awkward, leading to Kathy setting off the fire alarm to remove the tension between him and Vicki. But it didn’t stop the chemistry between them breaking, and were nearly caught by Ross. Little do they know that someone already caught them. But the question is, who? Elsewhere, Bea was wanting to ask Ian on a date and made it clear of her boundaries despite “not being needy”. But Honey was too distracted by Zack to give Honey advice, so Bea took it upon herself to ask Ian out herself. I have a feeling he doesn’t want to be in that situation. And Zoe invited Jasmine to see Julie and Nigel with the rest of the Slaters, where a song was a lovely moment for everyone, even if the speaker was made form a toilet roll Jean got from a magazine lol! But Oscar was quick to reassure Jasmine that Josh didn’t mean to blurt about about Sandra, but it’s going to get more awkward with this love triangle in full steam. Tuesdays episode saw Vicki hungover from the hen do, and despite promising to let Zack know she will tell the truth to Ross, Ross revealed himself that Joel will go elsewhere when he’s released from the young offenders. It obviously frustrated Zack, who soon turned his attention to Sam (and I will get onto that bit in a moment). Despite saying that he’s moved on from her, Vicki got a text about needing money in order to keep the secret. But it was a shame we didn’t see who it’s actually from. Meanwhile, Sam was going to her hospital appointment, with Ricky coming in to support, and were delighted when apart from a yearly mammogram check (which is I guess the normal procedure after treatment), Sam got the all clear from cancer. But a celebration at Phil’s got too much, and ended up at Harry’s Barn where she opened up to Zack on if she hadn’t had got checked in the first place. He then opened up about his HIV journey and reminded Sam that life is too short, and one thing led to another shall we say. She then confided in Denise about why she left the party, with Denise thinking of getting an appointment herself after admitting to have bouts of fatigue. Meanwhile, after Oscar suggested to Jasmine about having some sibling bonding time as a way for him to avoid the situation, Kim literally dragged him into being Josh’s test dummy for his salon job. But the tension was too much for Oscar, and let’s just say Kim was less than impressed. And Bea is getting creepier by the minute, as when Honey shows her the dress she’s wearing, she decided to not only get the same one, but to go to the same place with Ian. And after a comment from Penny, Honey was convinced that she was confused. Wednesdays episode saw Ross gathering Harvey and Ian for prepare a flash mob as part of the wedding day. They then tagged along Alfie and Howie, who threw some brilliant shapes for their idea. But Vicki was still feeling paranoid about who is threatening her. She at first thought it was Zoe, and then Mark gave her a tip to track the person sending the text, realising it’s someone closer to home. At first she asked Cindy and Peter, who were at the cinema, and then Lauren, who denied everything. But a comment from Ian about Vicki and Zack looking “cosy” got her buttons riled, and Ian worked out that it was Zack who Vicki cheated on Ross with, and was also surprised to find out Kathy knew. But I do wonder who will be revealed as the mystery sender as they tell her that if they don’t send the money in 24hours all will be revealed?!?! Elsewhere, Bea was getting suspicious again, and in surprised Honey didn’t get more suspicious of her mail on credit cards. And it looks like the statement from her credit card is also adding up more and more, with Penny making it clear she can’t return the dress. But just as I thought she was about to tell the truth, Bea claimed she has a deposit on a flat, but I know it’s secretly an excuse to get more money. And it looks like Ian is about to be taken for a ride when he asks her out again. Elsewhere, Lauren and Max both had their differences when it comes to sales, which showed when Ross was wanting inspiration for wedding transportation. So Oscar decided to set up a quiz to see who knew more, and despite some silly questions from himself (which was quite funny), Max was the winner. I just feel like it knocked Lauren’s confidence abit. And Vinny was reflecting on his new journey into parenthood (little knowing of Penny’s secret). But his bigger concern was Ravi's well-being when he mentioned about how “it’s never too late to start over”. And ontop of that, Avani gave the news that Nugget had another seizure and that someone posted it online. I also have a feeling that Ravi won’t be able to handle it given the state he’s in, even though he claims he will sort it. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Vicki and Ross planning for the wedding, and it led to her confiding in Zack about telling Ross the truth, knowing that even if she did pay up she’d feel guilty. We also saw Sam bringing Ian to see Julie and Nigel, which was slowly followed by Kathy, who made the kind gesture of making some lunch for her. But both of them were about to be shocked where after Zack told Vicki to message the blackmailer, it actually turned out to be Louie, who learnt the tactic from Cindy (of course he did) and explained why he did it. Despite making him see it was wrong, Ian advised them to tell the truth. It then resulted in Ian not being the best man, claiming he’s busy with the election, which took a shine to Bea, so he may have something good in that process. But I can onlu imagine Vickis paranoia growing more when Zack reveals he’s the new best man. Oh dear… elsewhere, Priya was more concerned about Ravi’s welfare, claiming he slept on the couch to avoid waking her up. Vinny also shared his concerns to Suki when he revealed he was supposed to be helping him with the shop, but that didn’t end there. It was then revealed that it was Will who filmed Nugget having a seizure, thinking it was a prank, but he then refused to give the name of his friend. Nugget could tell there was something wrong with Ravi when he refused to help, but Kat was feeling threatened when he had another spell. This then prompted Suki to intervene, seeing how much Priya is taking on, and offered to pay for a private health specialist. And it’s a good job she stepped in when she did, as Ravi having another nightmare scared Priya. I just hope the sooner he gets help the better. And Lauren and Max were once again competing on who's the best sales person, where let’s just say the prize was more than £50. Whilst Max's customer didn’t go to plan, Lauren met customer Flora and it was a success. Let’s just say she’s definitely proving him wrong.
XO, Kitty:
This week I watched more of the show set in Seoul, South Korea. Episode 3: “Play List”, saw Kitty reflecting on her relationship with Min ho, with Korean Lit being a struggle and tried to get Jiwon to give her an extension, who declined it thinking the session is more important than Min ho. But Kitty had her matchmaking mindset on when Professor Finnerty was asking Jiwon for something, and their connection got noticed by her. She then was reporting it back to Min ho, Jin and Q which they denied, with then revealing about appearance from Baby Moo Moo, with both couples getting into a “Korean lesson”. Although it was actually a lesson, as Min ho was teaching Kitty Korean, interrupted by Eunice who claimed that she’s stressed for the shoot. We then saw Kitty meeting the assistant Gigi, who knew Min ho, who was the person Marius rang, and then revealed that she was his ex girlfriend and first love hence why he called her Noona. Elsewhere, Juliana was meeting Praveena to invite her to an exhibition, and soon offering Yuri a coffee, as a peace offering for what happened in the last season. Yuri then found Kitty looking on Gigi’s socials, where she confides in her about her insecurities and offering Yuri to go to the shoot to take the job, but reminding her to relax and show that she’s team Min ho. Back in the boys dorm, Dae was reminding Min ho of his stress, and ended up leaving the kitchen when Kitty ended up cancelling the spa date due to Min ho having an emergency meeting. She ten revealed why she’s asking about Gigi and Min ho, but was quick in reassuring her like the brilliant boyfriend he is, with Kitty putting her match making skills to the test. It was then that Kitty using Baby Moo Moo as an excuse to set up her and professor Finnerty, and gave her an excuse to see Eunice’s shoot taking place with Yuri trying to win Gigi over and Kitty trying to be useful. During this, Q was quick in finding Marius and ask about his intentions, who then convinced him the photo was deleted. It was also clear that the video not going well with Gigi figuring out why, and a comment from Marius got Kitty insecure again. Q managed to find her, reminding her of her past experience with Dae, where a comment on Marius got her realising that Marius set the whole thing up, whilst Q admitted the link with the photo, and both having their plans put into action. Things weren’t going well for Yuri, as she ruined an outfit which got her into Gigi’s bad books, with Dae wanting to give Eunice a present for him reminding Yuri to never give up. A plan was then being put into action, with Yuri using her dress making skills to help whilst Kitty made a “mistake”, whilst Q got caught by Marius when wanting to find the photo, with Marius revealing why he rang Gigi and reminding him of his feelings. But it seemed that Yuri’s skills were working and managed to secure an interview, and Dae was heartbroken when Min ho revealed Eunice and Tae-oh hooked up during the tool. Kitty was then finally opening up about how she was threatened by Gigi, and Min ho opened up about why he likes her and why he did things he wouldn’t normally do, and offered to help with her essay. Yuri was then reporting back to the girls about Yisoo, with Juliana questioning Praveena on her friendship. And Kitty was put into a difficult position when Jiwon that revealed there was rules between teaching after she revealed he left, and berated her for her priorities and gave her more work to do. Episode 4: “A List”, saw Kitty doing her test after revising none stop from the previous episode, with the results being given the next day. But she wasn’t the only one who found it challenging. Yuri was ask having her struggles with her test, but soon found something to destress after giving her a picture of their moms on a rollercoaster and pointing out professor Lee in it, with Yuri suggesting to do it. Professor Lee then made the announcement of taking everyone on a trip to a furniture museum, with Kitty convincing him to take everyone to Lotte World, with everyone backing her up (as they also clearly showed a disgust in going to the museum) and showed him the picture to remind him of the good times. This prompted him to say yes to the trip. Soon afterwards, Q and Jin were talking about the theme park with Marius interfering, trying to break them apart, with Q double checking Dae, who was asking about about university applications. Yuri was ask not happy with the first deposit from her assistant jinx and Eunice’s music video got 10k views, with Kitty being proud of Min ho for playing a big part in it, and getting a text from his dad about a new opportunity. But when it came to Min ho asking Kitty about her future after he mentioned about staying in Seoul, it got her being unsure secretly after dreaming of getting into NYU like her sister. At the theme park itself, professor Finnerty convinced Jiwon that everyone will be fine, with a staff member recognising Eunice to get everyone into the VIP entrance. Professor Finnerty also convinced Jiwon to have fun whilst everyone else is having fun. But Kitty then suddenly became sacred, with Marius mocking her not helping. It then led to Min ho suggesting a plan to start small and build her way up. Q and Jin were quick in suggesting the arcade whilst everyone recognises Eunice. We also saw Yuri and Julianna chatting whilst Praveena is on a Switzerland tour and her being okay that they’re friends, who also told Dae about their past with Dae offering to be a personal concierge free or charge. Min ho then convinced Kitty the ride is fun, but after asking her what changed, they decided to start with simple rides. Everyone was then having fun doing their own thing, with Kitty and Min ho finally taking the tomb of horror which seemed to have helped conquer her fear. Q and Jin we’re then talking honestly about competing, where Jim revealed about feeling lost since his injury, and they soon confessed their love for each other, with Marius watching on clearly jealous. After a picture of Min ho and Eunice were posted, everyone got their grades with Kitty leaving the ride due to fear. It was then that Kitty saw Marius, who opened up about him messing her relationship with Min ho. It was then he opened up about his relationship, and she then revealed her own discovery and her door closing in Seoul, coming to a realisation which led to getting a good grades and apologising to Kitty. Kitty then told Min ho the good news about her results, and getting on the ride and getting that photo. Finnerty and Jiwon also admitted into having a good time but we’re interrupted by Eunice feeling ill. On the coach back home, Jin talked about his next venture in life, and after he forgot something from the gift shop, Marius opened up about why he really came back to KISS, which put a big decision on Q. Yuri was also motivating Dae after he was unsure of his grades whilst showing Kitty the picture. I’m just glad she was understanding when Min ho cancelled their plans to make out it was Marius needing something when in fact it was Eunice. But after Kitty was reflecting on her path and journey with her friends and Min ho, she soon spotted him and Eunice together and started getting suspicious. Episode 5: “Off The List”, saw Kitty not being on the list at a party, where in fact it was a dream. Yuri was definitely surprised by Kitty’s revelation of Min ho and Eunice, with Yuri trying to reassure her, and soon got a job with Yisoo. Kitty was then asking her about Chuseok, knowing it’s Dae’s dad restaurant grand opening but she’s true to make it if she could. There was also more heartbreak when Jiwon revealed her halmoni can’t come whilst Kitty found out about Q’s love confession to Jin, along with Marius revealing why he came back to KISS. And whilst Q announced that he’s introducing Jin to his mum, she was secretly still insecure about Min ho. It then got Kitty going into Min ho’s room, trying to make a joke out of it and asking him about Marius where Kitty eventually finds out. Min ho was then making out that he and Eunice were chatting about getting her a gift for Chuseok, revealing it was at that moment he started having feelings for her (which was so romantic). Kitty decided not to reveal the real reason why she’s in Min ho room, and Yuri’s first day with Yisoo didn’t quite going to plan, leaving her to look after her dog. But she eventually did succeed in coming to the restaurant, secretly bringing the dog with Dae being clear that they can’t be visible. We also saw Jin meeting Q’s mum who tells an embracing story, but interrupted by Marius and his mum telling an even more embarrassing story. Min ho, Kitty and Jiwon were then seen coming to the restaurant to reveal rebar Eunice is not coming, and revealed that her Halmoni had come, much to her disgust as she didn’t approve of her coming to Seoul, not wanting Kitty to worry . The meal was then taking place, with Jiwon revealing an arranged marriage she objected to, with Min ho not helping when looking at him. Q was also talking about his career, with Jin backing him up when his mum was clearly more interested in Marius, which brought a lot of attention. Whilst Kitty was trying to break the mood, Dae made a speech about why the restaurant was important. If then got Jiwon leaving after the speech, convinced her halmoni was not happy, with Kitty wanting to help but was convinced it’s not her problem to solve. Min ho was ten reassuring her that kitty can cross a traditional Chuseok off the list (as a disagreement was apparently part of it), but was interrupted by him coming to Eunice’s rescue, with Dae checking up on him and a comment about the necklace got kitty wondering. Whilst Madison was happy with the account she made, Yuri realised Yisoo’s dog was gone and Julianna offered to help. Eunice was then confiding in Min ho about the situation and overhead by Yuri. Julianna eventually found the dog, and letting her know of her services, clearly still having unresolved feelings between the two. The two then bumped into Eunice’s where after she left, confided in kitty that she was right, soon finding a positive pregnancy test. It then led to Kitty confronting Min ho about Eunice and the pregnancy, accusing him of getting her pregnant. Jin was then confiding in Kitty, but a slip of the tongue from her got him confronting Q about Marius, with everything getting out of control and revealed the picture, damaging her friendship with Q. On the drive home, Q’s mother askwd him about Marius and wondering why he sent it, and soon talked about her past education and why she was putting pressure on Q, but was still proud of him, approving of Jin. Back at the restaurant, Kitty was confiding in Dae about Min ho and Eunice, where Dae revealed that HE was with her at that point, with Kitty realising Min ho was telling the truth and encouraged Dae to talk to her himself. Dae is the perfect example of a green flag, as Eunice was opening up about her stress which was why she thought she was pregnant with Dae offering to support her to get back to normality. There was heartbreak coming up though, as Kitty came to apologise to Min ho. Whilst I get why Min ho kept it a secret, I can get it why Kitty would be angry and explained her insecurities, but soon broke up with her. It then got Kitty ringing LJ, and something tells me she’ll be by her side to help her (literally).
Siren’s Kiss:
This week I watched more of the KDrama Thriller romance. Episode 5 saw Woo-seok following Seol-ah going home, clearly entranced by her and declining a call from Eun-hyuk. Jun-beom was also declining Seol-ah’s rival and offered her a CEO position, which she declined. We then saw Woo-seok looking at the neighbourhood of when the fire happened, with Eun-hyuk revealing everything, her family being tortured by loan sharks and becoming defensive when he asked if eun-hyuks friendship with Seol-ah is anything more. Seol-ah was then reporting to chair Kim that the Stiller painting is in the bidding, and Woo-seok coming to Midnight, where Sook-ji talked about her friendship with Seol-ah and why she’s misunderstood, and explaining why she opened a bar next to Royal auction, which was quite amusing. It then moved to Eun-hyuk finding her in the office, and reveals why she doesn’t sleep, which was actually part of a voice note Woo-seok listens to. We then saw preparations for Another exhibition taking place, with Eun-hye “accidentally” breaking a vase, and a private chat got her suspicious. Woo-seok then came in to look at the “accident” whilst Seol-ah found out that the main artist isn’t coming to the exhibition. Woo-seok mamatched to catch Seol-ah whilst her rival and Eun-hye chatted, revealing he set her up but made it clear if she gets caught, she’s taking him with her. At the station, Seong-il was looking at the pattern of the previous deaths, and Gong noticed something whilst Woo-seok and Seol-an chat about Luen Palace. The two were then going to a glass makers studio, where a fire triggers her memory, and soon got him helping to make a new vase, which also got Woo-seok intrigued on asking why she was on her knees whilst a new glass is complete. But Seol-ah got panicked further by the torch on the glass, with Woo-seok checking in on her, revealing that he was wrong about her and when asking about being believed, he then added he wants to. Back at his flat, Gong was trying to reach Woo-seok and spotted his evidence board and finds the burner phone with Seol-ah’s recordings, and he soon came home to reveal his whereabouts and questioned his intentions. It then resulted in taking the phone in as evidence, shortly followed by Eum-gyeom found something on there CCTV footage. Woo-seok and Seol-ah then went to the exhibition watched by Eun-hye, talking about the glass fragments, what they mean and thanking him. He then came up with a plan, even if it meant he was willing to risk his life to catch the culprit, which she agrees to. The two were then putting their plan into action at Jun-beoms house, whilst talking about money and trust, picking up on a logo from a previous location. Things were about to get more complicated, as Jun-beom revealed his feelings interrupted by Woo-seok, and a chat led to proving his “suspicion” to see how he reacts, which he didn’t react well. Elsewhere, the painting was approved whilst Woo-seok asks his colleague to help with something. It then led to Gong exploring the room in Luen Palace, Woo-seok heading somewhere after reading the accounts, whilst the footage showed someone else on the rooftop. It then ended with Seol-ah being confronted by Woo-seok about the insurance linking to the fire, revealing that she killed her parents! Episode 6 picked up of where we left off from, with Seol-ah upset about it and convinced she’s not believed. We then saw a Aflashback of the series so far, with Woo-seok’s colleagues tak about how he believes her, whilst she asked Eun-Hyuk why she stood by her. A flashback revealed his and Eun-hye’s abusive childhood, with Seol-ah saving them, and revealed the fire wasn’t her fault. At Gangha police station, the case is reopened, but Seong-il will resign if things don’t go to plan, so it’s safe to say there’s a lot of pressure. Seol-ah was doing an interview on what a siren is, making her feel uncomfortable when the interviewer asked about her past. Her RIVAL then revealed that he set the interview up and was requested more gossip. We then saw Woo-seok asking about the previous case after being handed the insurance policy for the Stiller painting, and Seol-ah got threatening texts, being told to come in order to keep her secret. And bless Woo-seok for following her out of fear, and Jun-beom was controlling the CCTV footage whilst Seol-ah found the location, whilst she found a photo of her ex fiancée. Thankfully Woo-seok saved her from a glass vase after spotting someone, interrupted by Jun-beom who revealed he’s dealing with after affects of an accident after she got stitched up. Woo-seok was also being denied police with Jun-being just wanting the name, with Seol-ah making an excuse why she’s there, and he wanting to help her clearly convinced there’s more to her story. We then saw RIVAL getting interviewed and seeing Jun-beom. And after Eyn-hyuk was interviewed, Ju-yeong and Seong-il talked about their findings and looked into another case. Seol-ah and Woo-seok were wondering if Jun-beom is behind it all, and revealed that someone was being spotted. He was soon coming into her flat, and noticed the same bottle of wine at Jun-beoms place. It was there where she opened up about why she really started the fire, knowing their parents were planning on doing it and having the benefit to pay off the debt and the mother committed suicide with Woo-seok comforting her to let it all out. Gong was also looking at the death, resisting to go to the place again, and Seol-ah was coming back to work, with Sang-mi reporting back on the orders. It then got her visiting Chair Kim to ask her some interesting questions in order to find out more about it and asked about a painting, with her watching the password. Seong-il and Ju-yeong were then visiting the owner of the Katarina with Eun-hyuk going to a printer shop with concern from Eun-hye. There was ask talk at the Royal Auction when Seol-ah giving an announcement whilst the two were flustered by Woo-seok and wondering if they’re dating. The two were then having lunch at Midnight, with their colleagues noticing and talking about how maybe Jun-beom might’ve killed those men to get close to her. Eun-hyuk was also noticing them whilst the police listened to the recording of him, leading to Woo-seok going to his secret sources to find a picture of jun-beom with a company linking to a terroist attack in Syria. It was revealed that Lee Su-ho was claimed to be part of the team after looking for evidence on jun-beom. But things were about to be difficult, as Gong was asking woo-seoks colleague to stay out of the case once the killer is found, with him asking what really happened and if it’s because he has feelings for her. Shortly afterwards, Eun-hyuk was getting interviewed about the boat estimate, revealing that she asked him to do it, whilst missing a call from her. Woo-seok then got a call from the leader on OnWorld Lee Kwang-Jin and revealed Seol-ah’s involvement. Kwang-jin was talking about Jun-beom’s past, only for him and Woo-seok to get in a car crash by the woman at the company and Seol-ah to arrive on the scene. Episode 7 saw Woo-seok in hospital, with Ju-yeong meeting Seol-ah who claims to call in the incident, giving her evidence in her dashcam. Eum-gyeom was then bringing in statements of Eun-hye, with Seoil-il wondering if there’s another accomplice with her confronting him. Seol-ah then came to visit Woo-seok, only for him to not be there, as he was seeing Kwang-il on life support. She then overheard Woo-seok and Ju-yeong, upsetting her, but what she didn’t hear was that Woo-seok mentioned about how the culprit is someone else, bringing up Jun-beom and convinced her he's responsible. At the station, Seong-il and Eum-gyeom were looking through and asking about Sook-ji, whilst Seol-ah revealed to Woo-seok how she knew about the accident, and how the painting was set up, with Kwang-il knowing all the answer. Woo-seok soon sent his source to go on a stakeout in secret, whilst the footage came to find she was telling the truth. Chair Kim was then speaking to a Spanish bidder, where she revealed how she learnt Spanish, with Seol-ah inspired after going through the order. She then saw an article with flashbacks of her encounter with Park Min-cheol and found a link with the paintings, whilst Woo-seok recognised the man in the CCTV footage whilst a delivery of flowers brought a blast from they past, with her colleagues having an amusing conversation about how they might’ve come from Woo-seok. It was revealed in a flashback that her ex fiancé Lee Su-ho from a video was being abusive, and a comment got suspicious, with Jun-beom also enraged. Woo-seok and Ju-yeong were then teaming up to find the ghost car to get some more clues after different opinions. And after searching the areas, they found a place called Alpha Tower, linking to Jun-beoms company and having some realisations. Seol-ah was also having some realisations of her own on why Jun-beom shakes his left hand, with Woo-seok coming in with their plan. She then revealed who the flowers were from, and linking it to Jun-beom. At Midnight, Sook-ji and Eun-hyuk were gutted in not having her for her birthday, with Sook-ji taking the food and liking his gift to her (which for some reason got me suspicious). Woo-seok revealed his findings linking to Jun-beom, a plan didn’t go well with her. He then revealed his sisters past after asking if he felt guilty and death, leading to a charged moment between the pair after realising they gave more in common than they thought. It was the that Lee Kwang-Jin came out of his coma whilst Seol-ah tends to his wound. A kiss was then interrupted by a call from Yoon-so about Mr Lee, warning Seol-ah to stay out for her own safety. We then saw the man from the ghost car drugging Kwang-jin, who was soon spotted by Woo-seok and a fight made his injury worse. Thankfully Kwang-Jin wasn’t actually killed. As Yoon-so was the distraction to catch the culprit, finding his coat to find a drug used to put him down. Woo-seok then showed Kwang-jin pictures of Jun-beom, talking about his past with Su-ho and a revelation on his death was followed by Jun-beom burning the picture. Woo-seok fhen supported Seol-ah at the place Su-ho was laid to rest, showing support and seeing the video, explaining how she knew about his death and how she overheard him. And everything that chef when he reassured her he believes her, and resorted to a plan to give him a lift. It was then revealed that a man called Kim Sung-hae was the suspect of the ghost car and linked with Syria and Jun-beom, so gave the gang m to get evidence to arrest him. Woo-seok and Seol-ahs were then putting their plan in action, with Jun-beom deleting the files knowing he’s one step ahead but soon got what they want. But the here was danger for Seol-ah when she playwd her part, as she eventually asked about Su-ho, soon getting to the point with Woo-seok is coming to the rescue. And Episode 8 once again picked up where we left off from where the sound of a fire alarm got Jun-beom triggered, soon spotting Woo-seok and on the security camera thinking it’s the driver (who came out of fear for Seol-ah), and ringing the driver to leave the country. The two were then discussing the next stages now that the henchman is exposed, with her worries for his safety. Kwang-jin and young-soo also formed a friendship, playing a game of cards (which was entertaining) whilst Woo-seok showed the picture of him and wondering what the piece of the puzzle is. The police were then wanting Jun-beom in for questioning after a travel ban for his hench man, with Soo-yeon coming in to bring in snacks and noticing the crime board. Woo-seok then questioned Seol-ah’s colleague, and questioned his connection to her when mentioning it’s not his department. Seol-ah then gave a team meeting with Sang-mi being given a special job, and an image linking to his sisters death got Woo-seok ringing his source about a clue linking to Jun Hyun-su, who was in the lift with Seol-ah, who was then chatting with chair Kim. Woo-seok narrowly just missed him and showed her the pictures linking to his sisters death and requested help, revealing a link with the paintings he showed her and chair Kim. It showed that Chair Kim was linked to Seol-ah’s parents, and how an artist she talked about was her father, and why she joined the royal auction and her reason for living. The two were then plotting to get into the vault whilst her RIVAL was caught by Eun-hyuk, and secretly jealous as one of Seol-ah’s colleagues wanting to be employed by chair Kim, whilst Seol-ah showed Woo-seok the painting, who reminded her to go one step at a time. He was then speaking to one of her colleagues, and a comment on some errors within the footage got him wondering if someone was impersonating Jun-beom, with Eun-hyuk coming with her for the truth and asks about her relationship with Woo-seok, and a chat with his colleague about his injuries got her thinking. After Yoon-soo and Kwang-il were chatting about his mission, a comment about facial guestures got him ringing Woo-seok about DNA samples. The exhibition was getting ready with Jun-beom coming along. It as then that Seol-ah explaining the Stiller painting whilst Woo-seok confronts him and informed Kwang-jin of wanting to see him and tell the truth. After Chair Kim was explaining the Stiller to the bidder, the plan was put into action, but he ended up in an anaphylactic shock and Eun-hye trying to hide her unease with the epipen being used as a DNA test. It was clear that the incident shocked her, Mr Song (Seol-AB’s rival) was being confronted by Eun-Hye about the properties during the shock. Seol-ah was then checking in on Jun-beom who invites her to his villa, ignoring a call from Woo-seok. The biggest shock came as she went to the home Su-hi dreamed up, where it was revealed that Jun-beom is in fact Lee Su-ho, and the DNA match proved it. Another flashback saw Seol-ah with the bidder, but claime that he changed and mentioned how there was a case of mistaken identity and how he became Jun-beom. Woo-seok was then coming to the house (the wrong one), and was wanting to take matters into his own hands, only to find a room with a lot of images, questioning the relationship. It was then that the gang came in to see the room of his and decided to find Jun-beom. A power cut then took place as his home, with everything mobalised and coming to the place, with Yu-jeong finding seol-ah with Jun-beom dead, clearly shaken.
Boarders:
This week I watched more of the comedy focusing on the scholarship gang. Episode 3 saw Femi getting texts from his family whilst Cheddar gave him some advice, and asking graham what a sports coat. And following the row at the hockey game, Carol made the decision not to expel Bea and not taking away her reference, but made it clear of the boundaries if it were to happen again. Mabel was then taking a call for Leah to avoid her parents not coming to The Last Supper, reminding her of why it’s important with Leah explaining how to work on the project with Felix. It then led to Mabel teasing Leah about Xiang when she got a text from him, wanting her to chill out. Pixie was also spotting Femi looking at politicians thinking it’s a better career option, but gave some advice on how to be with her father, revealing why she likes him. Toby was also surprising Abby to update her about St Gilbert’s and his new job, soon spotting Carol and inviting her to meet his mum at The Last Supper. It turned out that Carol was visiting the head of Severtone to try and her silence which didn’t work. We also saw Dev wondering about Omar’s final piece whilst she revealed hers using his work. If then led to Omar finding Benjamin on his socials, who wants his help to ask out Leah. But the lady herself was trying to call Felix whilst Omar talks to Benjamin and offered a piece of anime if Leah talks to him, thinking he’s good for her with comment got Leah knowing where to find Felix. Jonny was overhearing the comment and asked about The Last Supper, still keen to see his mum. But it didn’t get off to the best it starts for Femi, as Cheddar was mocking him about his outfit and eventually meeting the father. Leah was then coming to Felix’s house, with Alfie making her feel welcome after wanting to make Felix a proposal. Toby was giving Abby a pep talk about his mum and wanted to keep travelling on the downlow for now but made out she knew she was coming
Femi trying to show his stuff with Pixie distracting him, which I thought was entertaining, whilst Alfie revealed that he’s remarried but Carol was wanting to wait for his bonus, claiming it’s for the children. When it came to asking about the project with Felix revealed about not going to Cambridge, with Leah seeing the troubles boiling over in the household. At the main event, a meal with Toby and his mum got awkward, eventually revealing of travelling and how Toby in fact can’t defer and explained his past. It also seemed that Cheddars father was the only person interested in Femi’s speech, where cheddar mentions the internship, but chose Femi over cheddar amusing Pixie, and cheddar making out Femi is helping him with his application. I have a bad feeling about Jonny whilst ringing Omar (who was getting his art stuff going), whilst Cheddars father was giving Femi advice when it comes to politics and a comment got him in a competition. Toby also made it clear to Abby of his choices despite his mum’s disapproval, expressing his fear of change, with her talking to his mum about Toby being scared of Cambridge. And whilst Leah finally replied to Xiang, it was then followed by getting a call from Benjamin, reminding her to have balance and asking her out. It then saw the two going to a Jamaican restaurant and encouraged her to have a break, scheduling a study session between the meal. Jonny also caught Omar painting, but a chance to step up for himself, a conversation about Benjamin led to Jonny calling himself Omar’s boyfriend. Back at the restaurant, Benjamin and Leah were talking about musicians and revealed Omar set him up, and reminding her to make space, rejecting Xiang's call in the process. It then ended with Toby on a work call whilst Femi preps for his speech. Episode 4 saw Femi prepping for his speech whilst Leah talks to Benjamin, Toby working and Omar working on his project. Cheddar was convinced he doesn’t hate Femi, but gives him a warning when it comes to the election. Leah was organising a study session with Benjamin’s whilst being off on her assessment, with Felix eventually helping her with stuff from his godfather. Mabel, Florence, Cheddar and Femi were making their campaign, with pressure from his family and his campaign not going well, with Pixie checking in, opening up on why he can’t tell his parents the full truth. But a saying got him thinking to help him. At the art department, Omar mentioned to Dev about his final project who was proud of him, and a suggestion about art school got him worried. Toby was then trying to call Abby about the flights but was approached by Femi, using his family to help with his campaign. Carol soon denied Omar’s piece of work claiming it’s not about him. Leah was also surprised by Felix’s workload, soon apologising to him and mentioning Alfie, where he soon revealed it’s not got no choice and complimenting on his work. Elsewhere, Toby was being honest about Femi’s cringy speech, with Toby advising him to on his presentation, using the actor in him. Back in the library, Leah and Felix were going through what they had so far. But she soon realised he copied some of the work and using AI, convincing him it’s not the end of the world, with the stress taking it’s toll on her physically as well as mentally. Graham was soon sneaking in alcohol whilst Femi preps for his speech, with Toby bringing in Omar. And Leah was not able to come to support Femi due to wanting to show kindness to Felix and her plans with Benjamin, soon showing more stress. The campaigns were then taking place, with Mabel’s not going well and Florence going well. Femi’s also didn’t go down well and Cheddars speech was just berating Femi. During the voting, Toby noticed Omar running away from Jonny with Toby being interrupted by his teacher, trying to convince her it’s a biology lesson. In fact it’s to get a result in his mock, wanting to give him a wake up call about his exams. Leah was then finishing up with Benjamin surprising her in her room, not realising she didn’t cancel. They soon got into a tense conversation about her grades, and him trying to show reality on the grades he needs and balance it with life only pushed him away. A chase from the rugby students got Omar rescuing him, and offered Omar a drink as a thank you. The results of the election saw that there will be a re vote, with Graham and cheddar warning him they’ll be more. Toby then ignored a message from Femi got him ringing Jaheim, who gave him some advice after talking about his experience in the US. Meanwhile Benjamin was liking Omar’s painting whilst he asked about him and Leah, with Omar talking about Jonny. Benjamin then encouraged him to show his messy side, whilst Xiang asked Leah about why she stood him up. The speeches were then happening again, and a comment from Cheddar finally got Femi standing up for himself, but was beaten by Cheddar when it came to Glastonbury tickets. Just as Toby was about to leave Abby a voicemail, she came in to reveal what his mum said to her and said that he loves her. He then said it back, but both wondered if they can do long distance. The results of the election saw Femi being elected, where cheddar was convinced that something was up, and he may be right as it looked like he was hiding something. The episode ended with the gang meeting Omar to show his art piece, wanting their help to break into the exhibition. But when that didn’t work he decided to do it himself, only for the fire alarm to set off.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man:
This week I finally eventually got to watch the film starring the iconic gypsy gangster with my father. As a peaky blinders fan, I was definitely looking forward to this, and that same feeling of being hooked during the past 6 series never changed. Keep an eye out later in the year of films I saw this year where this movie will be featured so I can show you my full insight into it. But all I can say is, well done to all of the cast and crew for bringing this film to life, and with the sequel now in production, I can’t wait to see a new generation take to the screen and follow in Tommy's footsteps.

Olivier Awards:
This week I caught up on the Olivier Awards. This was a real is poring watch for me, as they had shows being nominated and won from all aspects of life. These included Dame Elaine Paige winning a special award, Punch receiving two, and Paddington The Musical getting 7. For me this helped me kept my passion for the arts going, and no matter what, musical theatre and stage shows will always have a place in my heart.

Personal:
Exercise:
This week I got back to my usual exercise routine. I was back at the gym, and also back on the bike. The timings included 13mins 19secs on Monday, and 13mins 39secs on Saturday when I got to 10k, with the final timings as seen below of when I got to 15k on both days. I also did plenty of yoga, and after my panic attack last week, I need to do this amazing form of self-care. Overall, a good week with regards to exercise!
Cooking:
This week I got myself making a chilli prawn linguine. I had fun making this one, and other than forgetting to chop all of my bits first, I could more or less do this dish myself. But I’m glad I did this one, as I was in the mood for something Italian. Simple, yet heavenly good!
Survey:
This week I did three surveys in total. Two of them I couldn’t get rewarded for due to either not meeting the requirements or having the maximum number of people completing it, but getting rewarded some points for the third one. So a little bit of an up and down when it comes to the surveys, but at least I had the motivation to do them, which is all that matters.
Darts:
This weeks practice we’re as always we’re different. For one practice, I finished on double 10, but ended up giving up on the second practice. But to be fair on the second practice I managed to get down to a finish with a few darts left, so I guess that’s a positive in all of it. And I managed to get some good scores as seen below!
Premier League of Darts:
This week saw the tournament go to Rotterdam. Whilst it wasn’t the night for both Michael Van Gerwyn and Gian Van Veen on home soil, it was a night of great darts for the others. Whilst Josh Rock was getting back to the Rocky we know, it was the Ferret taking centre stage and winning the night. With 27 points on the board, he definitely has a chance to make it to play offs week with 6 nights left to go.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa:
This week I watched more of the show where past celebrity contestants take on trials in South Africa. There was lots of jungle chatter, as Scarlett was opening up about missing her son Jude and Adam opened up about his family. But the mood turning light when Gemma fell out of the hammock. I also was surprised when Gemma was explaining why you shouldn’t eat burnt food, but got emotional. But the mood soon changed when she got the giggles with Adam, and David broke Harry’s chair whilst trying to get the rhinos food from winning last weeks trial. I also found it entertaining when Adam trumped on Beverly’s head, Ashley celebrated her birthday during that week. I also found it quite amusing when Harry thought a log was an animal, and I admire Scarlett for opening up about a miscarriage: and Adam not feeling well caused disagreement when talking about the trial, and it got me not liking David Haye even more. And Gemma, Scarlett and Adam got going to the waterfall, talking about a certain body part and body image. But my highlight was Harry making a prank, which I thought was genuine, but I guess you need to find the humour in this scenario. There were also many trials and Challenges coming their way. “Name Drop” saw the luxury items at stake with Mo, Craig and Ashley not getting theirs. But at “Kings Croc” station, we saw new celebrities Harry Redknapp and Jimmy Bullard, where the camp will be split into teams to win a safari tour and a bush banquet, with Harry representing the lions, and Jimmy representing the Rhinos. The challenge to collect the most Nuggets in “Wicked Watering Hole” saw the Rhinos win it, which caused tension. “Cut throat cliff” saw Seann ended up getting a mistake, and David Haye wasn’t joking about trying to get the meal (which eventually failed). “The Creepier Train” saw Scarlett and Gemma take on challenges, with Scarlett winning, making Gemma emotional, and “Beastly Braai” saw Harry and Jimmy taking on an eating trial, leading to a tie breaker and the Rhinos winning, and Harry needing to make a decision on who will leave first, where he chose Seann. “Retching Ball” saw Craig and David answering questions (which i skipper some of it due to Craig feeling sick), earning 7 stars. But David’s comment got Adam riled and the camp lost 2 stars due to Adam bringing food back from the banquet, with the camp mates backing up Adam knowing he did it out of kindness, but they realise they forgot Gemma with Craig agreeing but not being a David and going on about it. “Termite Terror” saw Mo win 10 stars, and “Balance of powers” seeing a test of endurance which lasted for ages (although David’s instant dismissal was quite entertaining), but eventually they let Ashley win and getting a cookie.

Britain’s Got Talent:
This week I watched the last of auditions for the iconic talent show. Celtic Beat brought the auditions to a cracking start, with one member wanting a garden with the money, and The Lux City Choir brought their African heritage into their music. Wei Yamen from Tiwan turned himself into a firework playing an interesting instrument, and Belinda and Elsie took on a unique spin on opera. Curious bubbles got me laughing despite 4 buzzers, and Mr cherry got KSI breaking the rules with pressing the golden buzzer again. Fakir Testa from Spain had me looking away, and Magician Lee Thomson got Ant and Dec in their act and even some of the judges and audience. And Lucianno surprising his grandad Frankie by singing together really brought the auditions to a beautiful end. I can’t wait for the live shows, and I’m intrigued to see who will be performing live!

Gogglebox:
This week the tele critics had more adventure. These included Giles showing Mary a technique with the iron which caused a power cut, and Pete updating Sophie on the kids, who reveal they smash everything. Alfie was explaining to Andrew about surviving a scorpion attack, and Twaine and Tristan were querying Tremaine on not running during a football game. Danielle and Daniella were talking about needing a good glow up now that it’s summer, and Ellie was showing Izzi her chicks. Finally, Abbie was talking to Georgia about a measurement of a certain body part. They also watched some of the most talked about stuff on the box set. “Love On The Spectrum” saw Logan going on a first date with Hayley, who was nervous but soon had a good time, and “Gordon Ramsey’s Secret Service” saw him in a Greek restaurant to sort it out and expose it and the wife revealing she is the snitch. “Secret Garden” showed a hedgehog looking for a “good time” with the neighbours helping to make a highway for her, and “Celebrity Bridge of Lies” saw Matt Baker guessing movies linking to anomalies. “Conspiracies and Coverups” saw to a hypnotist making an experiment linking to a Donald trump theory, and the “BBC News” saw retiree steve Wainwright making “big things”. And finally, “The Housemaid” saw the Goggleboxers react to the book turned movie.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
I think some of the main challenges I faced this week were coming on my time of the month, and also missing out on a application for an acting job I wanted. It was a shame as it was near my hometown, but again I had to remind myself that sometimes I need to get rid of the good to get rid of the great. So maybe this was one of those scenarios. And I think my biggest challenge was making the decision not to audition for an amateur dramatic production. It was a hard one yes, but as well as reasons beyond my control, there were other reasons as to why I was debating on the decision. But in the words of actor Babou Ceesay, sometimes you need to get rid of the good to make way for the great. And in the words of Ross Grant from Act On This, by saying no to one thing, you’re saying yes to something else. So let’s hope that new things will come my way…
What have I learnt this week? In the words of Dame Elaine Paige, perseverance furthers. So I just need to keep going because eventually I will get there!
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
