Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week featured many things happening, which included a darts tournament where you start on a double, posting some content, one of which was for World Mental Health Day, and getting the script ready for my next acting job. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 6th October 2025:
Professional:
Acting Class:
This week I had more fun in my acting gym. These included some news on a course in the new year with an intimacy coordinator, upcoming events and some more work in preparation for our event on 20th December. We revisited a warmup based on last weeks chat about AI, and also looked at improvisation games, both long and short form, with one game called “Books With A Scene” being my favourite.
Content Posting:
This week along with my thoughts on the latest Act On This podcast, I managed to post some of my content on my social media this week. These included some of the one liners when auditioning for day player roles, my thoughts on the National Television Awards and my post for world mental health day. See a link for one of them here.

Acting Jobs:
This week I applied for more acting jobs. I also got given the script for a Halloween event in Nottingham, and a script for a student film in Liverpool. All I can do is focus on one thing at a time and there were moments through the application process (which I’ll mention in “Challenges & How I Overcame Them), where it did to plan. But other than that, I feel like I applied for the jobs I wanted to do. I also admit that this week I didn’t get the chance to learn the script straight away, but going into next week, I can double down on the line learning, and providing I keep repeating, know my given circumstances and objectives I think I’ll be okay.
Act On This Podcast:
This week I caught up on another brilliant podcast. This had everything, from chats about the AI actress Tilly Norwood, Ross being honest about what happens if I filmed something but I’m not selected for the final product, and also be that one step ahead of those people who are winding down already, even though there’s so much more stuff happening before Christmas. It definitely inspired me to keep going, with some stuff I’ve got coming up as well where if I want it (even if I can’t make one due to reasons beyond my control) I’ll find a way, and if I don’t I’ll find an excuse.

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 1st and the first three quarters of 3rd October. It was officially an end for an era for Jenny, and it all started with her lying about Rita to make Christina jealous so she can get George all to herself. And after Brian revealed the truth to George, it then led to Rita grilling Jenny on her motives, but Jenny then revealed a heartbreaking reason on why she did it. George is understandably not happy when she tried to apologise, but she did abit of reflecting after seeing a leaflet for his latest funeral service, with George then suggesting to take Jenny’s friends advice with Jenny declining initially. But good on her for standing up to herself when Christina intimidates her, and Rita after a chat with George convinced Jenny to start fresh. All I can say is good luck to Sally-Ann Matthews on her latest adventures, whatever they may be. But that wasn’t the only drama on the cobbles. Kits relief of being off of desk duty was short lived, as Bethany was interviewed on car theft with him helping her, and managed to have an alibi on the process. She also had a catch up with Sarah whilst also revealing her job, and I can only imagine the tension between her and Daniel's awkward conversation after talking about baby stuff with Shona. I just hope they can clear the air. Kevin was also still feeling tense and Debbie threatened Abi to leave, but she still wasn’t going through with it after Kevin mentions how it’ll affect the kids, with Debbie then telling Carl to stay away from Abi. Something tells me that won’t be the case. And Tyrone coming home is now also going to test the family, as Fiz was starting to feel the strain again. Asha is also having a tough time still, secretly not working, with Asha’s colleague Sienna revealing it to dev, who then confronted Asha herself. But after some time to cool off after lashing out, she revealed that she doesn’t want to be a paramedic and also mentioned the real reason why she dropped the complaint against Naomi. And whilst Bernie excited for her wedding, dev revealed about why Asha dropped the complaint after a mishap at work. Thinking that she didn’t want this revelation to ruin his wedding, Asha convinced Dev to stop talking about the complaint whilst also convincing him to get married to Bernie, which they did. And whilst Glenda also asked about Chesney's happy place, things are only going to get worse for poor Asha after seeing spoilers. There was also more secrets that were revealed on a night out, and it all started with Sean inviting Todd and Theo for a night at a gay bar and asking which date they like. During the visit (which Christina and James joined), Glenda meet an old friend and took over the entertainment before the main act came. Theo was also hot with a blast from the past after seeing someone he knows, who revealed their past and how the nurse he confided in is actually his boyfriend. This prompted in Theo going missing after Sean’s dates both declined him, but was eventually found in the rovers. This only led Theo intimidating Todd again after he saw a phone with his ex and leaving Todd after a comment being made, which i know is let of his manipulation. This sent Todd in a worrying after Gary offered to help, and its also affecting his job and expressing his concerns to George. And whilst Christina was gossiping about Jenny, Jake handed over Theo's phone, with Todd confirming it that it’s his. And Todd nearly reported him missing, but soon decided against it, as knowing his temper, it’ll only cause more drama. And George showing his concern for Todd was not the only situation he was caught up in. As after confiding in Glenda and Gemma about it, Glenda stated why Christina is not good for him, showing him a list of pros and cons to show this, but Christina coming in to read them lead argument between the two women. I just hope they can put their differences aside for George’s sake. And Betsy inviting Becky to lunch did make Carla uneasy, with Lisa assuring her that she can be honest with her. With Becky posing as Lisa’s sister and Kit grilling her questions, a family lunch turned awkward when Carla asks Becky on her true intentions. This then cashed Carla seeing Kit and asking about Becky’s real intentions, and whilst offering to help, was caught out by Costello, who grilled him about it once more. When I continued the show from 3rd, I saw that Kit managed to cover his tracks, whilst Costello having a promotion for him. But I don’t know if Kit accepting it was a way to find out more information from him or not? And whilst that was all happening, Bethany and Daniel finally got round to talking things out after she misreads a situation. So at least they can continue living on the streets on good terms. She also shared her worries about Sarah on if she genuinely doesn’t want her, but Sarah being the good mum she was, welcome her with open arms. Meanwhile on the street, Asha was still feeling low (with more on her mental health in a moment) and George and Christina made the decision to make a proper go of things. Carla also talked things through with Lisa and promising to make a better plan for when Becky comes again, and it turned out that Theo was not really missing, using Jake as a way ti cover his tracks. Naughty boy. Finally, the 6th saw Dev and Bernie celebrating their wedding morning, with Dev convincing Bernie that Asha is fine, whilst Bernie convinced Dev to go for a drink with Tim and co to help Kevin (which I’ll get onto in a moment). But this episode was also a hard watch, as judging by the way Asha spoke to Billy and asking Brody to mind the shop, it certainly wasn’t fine. And whilst George convinced Todd that Theo is better off without him and to focus on the business (but not before Todd had a massive go at Theo), it was Theo who found Asha unconscious, with Amy confiding this in Todd whilst also mentioning how it’s moments like this where she wishes Aadi was here. This then led Todd to apologise, but Theo’s mood did nothing. And I don’t believe Theo claims about seeing a therapist, as I have a feeling it’s a way to gain control of Todd. But whilst Todd was having his issues, Dev left the drinks following Asha’s trip to hospital, asking sienna about the pills they found, with him being adamant Asha didn’t do it on purpose. But a heartbreaking moment saw Asha revealing that she did try to commit suicide, but begging Dev not to tell Aadi about it in fear of worrying. It certainly caused a strain that left Dev struggling, and letting it all out to Bernie later on. Asha then opened up to the mental health nurse about how Mason, Craig and Naomi all got to her, knowing that taking her own life was wrong but she couldn’t get rid of the feelings. But one things for sure, I’m glad Dev apologised to Brody after checking in. Meanwhile, Sally and Kevin reflected on life whilst also asking if Kevin told Sophie and Rosie on him and Abi, with Kevin’s wishing Sally a happy anniversary. But it looks like it’ll be anything but a happy time, when Tim met a customer who actually someone from his past and seeing them in the rovers later on. I also appreciated how Sally convinced Tim to meet with Kevin despite its being the anniversary, and along with Tyrone, talked about marriage in the hope of cheering up Kevin. But I do like Tyrone's hack to showing his way to help round the house whilst he can’t walk (which I need to get if ever my back goes bad again). But the mood turned sour where Kevin doesn’t want to talk about it, causing him to lash out at Tim. But it quickly changed when Gemma mentioned about the real reason why Dev left the drinks, which then led to the men talking about their lowest points in the past and now being honest with each other if they’re ever feeling low. And it looks like Kevin’s marriage isn’t the only one on the rocks. Tim being in trouble with Sally again was the start of it, but after seeing spoilers, it looks like it’s going to become even more strained.
Hollyoaks:
This week featured a romantic proposal, a vigil for those the village remembered and one resident making her next sneaky move. Mondays episode saw the aftermath of grace revealing to Rex that he is actually her son, not her brother. But it only sent him into a downward spiral, and even Ste, who is recovering from Jez’s kidnap, couldn’t help him either. All I know is that Clare is on the warpath after a scrap with grace and refusing to listen to froggy begging her to stop her revenge. And speaking of Ste, his lie to cover up Lucas’ story was overheard by Dillon, demanding that they should break up after all the stuff he’s been through. After seeing spoilers, something tells me that Lucas will and his anger out on Ste yet again. And Sienna was also distraught that her own family would think of her as a serial killer. Whilst Dodger, was only doing his job, it still wasn’t enough for her, so I do understand her anger and frustration. At least there’s still some hope for Tom and Peri, but after seeing spoilers, Clare will soon work her way into ruining the relationship. Tuesdays episode saw the village reeling from the loss of Jeremy’s victims. But it was a good thought of Darren to do a vigil for those people, showing that they are still strong. But Siri Tony now out in prison, and with him knowing Nancys secret, it’s all going to kick off. Rex is also on a downward spiral following the previous episode, blocking out and Ste and Dillon. And I was right to suggest that Lucas would take his anger out on Ste following Dillon revealing he knows Lucas hitting him, and Dillon getting rejected by Ste again also caused him anger. I still can’t work out how Lucas managed to get Dillon back, but something tells me that Lucas’ violent streak will continue. I also wonder why Clare has planned for Peri, and I’m glad that Cleo has agreed to move in with Sienna, wanting a fresh start. I also wish Rory Douglas-Speed luck on his next adventure when his character Joel reveals he’ll be transferring to a prison in Scotland, with Cleo reassuring him that whilst he can’t be part of her life anymore, he can still send their baby cards to remind him of who the baby’s dad is. And I also get why Leela didn’t want to see Joel, knowing she has been through so much and confiding in Marie about it. Whatever she decides to do, I know it’ll be what’s right for her in the long run. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Diane officially proposing to Tony, but not before revealing about being the father to Mercedes baby. Unsure what to do, she confided in Nancy, who very nearly got away with her own secret linking to Tony being Morgan’s biological father. I’m also glad that Tony was the bigger person in letting Mercedes know that whatever she decides, she’ll support her every step of the way. But after getting engaged properly to Diane, and saying that they’ll be no more secrets, something tells me that Marie’s reveal (although I’m not sure if I believe it or not after getting in Cleo’s way) will throw a spanner in the works. There’s also trouble ahead for Rex as he continues to hit rock bottom. But when Grace mentioned to Ste not to give up on him, she genuinely meant it as well, as he will stop at nothing to get through to Rex. I just hope that Dillon will be able to convince Lucas to go to therapy if he really wants to change his behaviour, and it was nice for Prince to open up to Leela about Dilly after the vigil Darren held for her and the rest of Jeremy’s victims. And Tom was every right to be angry at Peri for teaming up with Clare, given her background. However, I wasn’t expecting the two women to get close (whether it was genuine or whether Clare made it up again is another question) but she definitely got Peri under her spell. But I know that next week will be explosive after Clare offers Jeremy a deal.
Eastenders:
This week in Walford saw a couple make a decision, one resident making a decision following a blast from the past, and a special episode linking to a topic mainly aimed at young men. Mondays episode saw tensions between Zoe and Jean following Stacey’s departure. But we all need someone like Freddie to help after Jean opened up about abandonment and everyone assuming leaving her. The Panaser's also are moving out after a sales made by Elaine, with Suki helping them out as way of apologising. But Ravi has bigger things to worry about, getting grilled by Harry after Kojo spent the whole weekend with Okie taking drugs. And after seeing spoilers, Harry getting Teddy to help May land him in more danger. And Callum is preparing for Jonno's funeral, but not before Kathy sees him and Johnny kissing, sparking a confrontation and revealing everything to Phil, Ian, Billy, honey and Stuart (who came back for the funeral). But a chat from Harvey made Kathy see that Callum can’t put his life on hold forever, so accepted the relationship, providing he tells Lexi and Ben after the funeral. But it may be sooner than he thought after Ben shows up at the end of the episode. And I was right, as Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from bens return to see Callum. After a eulogy made by Callum where he was honest but respectful, he finally admitted the truth, and Ben worked out who it was, demanding a divorce in the process. But it’s obvious that it’s not really over, but you never know. Amongst all that, and along with Kat trying to convince Zoe to do some more work at the pub, Suki and Eve had an honest talk with each other, and if they could get back to how they were. Eve then opened up about how she quite liked being a mum when she envisioned it, realising that it was her mums limiting beliefs that stopped her from wanting a child of her own. The question is though, what will Suki decide? And harry is under pressure to save Kojo, who pushes both him and George away after not wanting to be treated like a child. I hope teddy’s plan and instilling a camera in the room was a smart idea. Wednesdays episode saw George backing off from Kojo after Anna and Gina tell him to stop treating him like a child. After doing just that, Kojo accusing George of spying on him with a camera came out of hand, with Ravi having a tense face off with Harry about it, and it didn’t look good. There was more drama following jonnos funeral, with Phil and Kathy seeing Ben in prison. Phil opening up about his suicidal thoughts encouraged Ben to be open about his feelings, with Kathy and Phil assuring him he’ll be okay. Suki and Eve also decided to go ahead with the adoption idea, but it didn’t come with the rest of the panaser clan having objections. But I did wonder if Suki is having doubts about it. Finally, Vicky can sense that Joel’s behaviour is getting out of hand, with Ross at a loss on what to do. With the build up to the episode where he does the unthinkable coming up, he’ll definitely be at the centre of attention. Finally, Thursdays episode saw a special one linking to Joel, and my suspicions being right, as it followed Amy’s ordeal when Joel was aggressive towards her and with an explicit video being released in front of the whole school. It definitely caused mixed opinions between the square, with some saying that it was banter, whilst some saying it wasn’t. And Julie confirming the severity of it said it all. Kat and Alfie are also at a loose end when they see how brainwashed Tommy is after meeting Joel and watching Drake Zagans content. But the worst part was Joel showing his true colours to Vicky, and I’ll be honest it was kind of hard to watch. I’ll be interested to see the aftermath of what transpired, and hopefully following this episode, it’ll show young people, especially young boys, that in the words of YouTuber Daz Black, they should just be a good person instead of being a man.
I Fought The Law:
This week I watched the first episode of a drama based on a true story. It all started when it opened in a courtroom, where Ann Ming meet Lord Goldsmith, telling her about the people she’s up against. Rewinding to 13 years earlier, Ann’s daughter Julie revealed that she’s splitting up with her partner, but anns marriage advice didn’t do the desired affect whilst babysitting her grandson Kevin. Despite Ann’s husband charlie reassuring her she’ll be fine, her fears were right when Julie didn’t answer, with brother Gary breaking into the flat and asking neighbour Bev to ask around. After reporting everything to Charlie and asking Angela (her other daughter) to look after Kevin, Gary soon turned violent when the pizza staff are being defensive. At the station, whilst Ann was trying to get someone to listen to her, Sergeant Wilkinson offered to come round and support her and reporting to Angela any updates but the next day days later, there were still no updates, with Ann then questioning the police when they ask about Julie’s ”typical” disappearance. When Bevs son Sean stated that he witnessed someone who might be Julie getting kidnapped, Ann was certainly not happy, losing her temper when seeing the pizza shop staff who are actually making enquiries. Whilst Ann was getting questioned, she finally got the staff to get the house looked at. But Charlie was definitely feeling the strain whilst Ann is constantly checking with him. I don’t think he doesn’t not care, but maybe it’s his own way of grieving the situation. But whilst she was at the house, she spotted a valuable item that may help, but it did nothing. This then prompted Ann and Charlie handing out flyers whilst revealing Julie’s house was broken into, and whoever it was surely had something linking to Julie. This was then followed by a video appeal, and then Christmas Day aka six weeks after her disappearance saw her ex Matthew coming back to Billingnam. At the two month mark, we saw Matthew moving back into Julie’s house and asking Ann to take her stuff, but Ann is still wanting to do more, and even asking him if he cheated on her which is why they left. But he was adamant he wouldn’t do it, and I think I do believe him. But you know when something like this is affecting you, when you start hallucinating of your child whilst collecting her stuff, clearly becoming too much for her. But the biggest shock came form when Matthew rang about a horrible smell in the bathroom, with Kevin confirming it. This then led Ann to finding Julie dead, causing her to lash out at the police for not doing their job properly. I can see now that going forward, the battle to get justice for her daughter is well and truly on.
Waterloo Road:
This week I started the 16th series of the school drama. And there was some stuff that got off to an explosive start. New teacher Darius Donovan made a real impression, with Nisha and Nicky at loggerheads over him whilst Nisha got in their first and getting him out of mr Todd’s class to talk a kid the army. And I was right to believe that it was false when Ashton found out where he was within it, but ultimately gave him some words of encouragement. But the ice guy act is his way of getting eat he wants I feel, as after Mr todd found darius with drugs, he ended up being in the frame after darious confided in Donte about it. Stella had no choice but to suspend him, with Marc opening up to Nisha about it, warning her to be careful. So much for teacher of the year eh? But that’s not the only thing Stella has to contend with. New students hope and Ben aka her grandchildren, would not be easy, with Hope demanding to get in the musical despite being cast, and ben getting cocky whilst Darius was talking and also got into a scrap linking to schuey (which I’ll mention later on). Stella confiding in hope opening up about her mums past and eventually got her a part in the musical and asked Ben to behave for Hopes sake. There was also the rules of inclusivity at the school, with cats statement being a brilliant one, but one of Stella’s rules about religion definitely for the school divided. Whilst one rule about classes on healthy relationships was good after what happened to Libby, it caused some tension between Cat and Izzy. I had a feeling that Schuey's practice with Tyler made him feel out of his depth despite the praise he got, but Tyler opening up about his experience was inspiring. After Stella announced the rules on religion, Agnes encouraged Schuey to make a statement with Tyler backing her up and Jack letting Agnes protest. But they had two different ways about it. With Jack Rimmer now back at the school, he let Agnes kindly use his office aka the old prayer room as a protest, where he talked about his job and Agnes explained why religion is a therapy for her, seeing her side of the argument. Schuey however, was using his voice in a bad way which led to an argument between Cat and him. Donte is also seeing his side abit, and despite Cat and Izzy not being friends, at least they’re on good terms. Despite having a punishment, Schuey opened up about why religion is important to him and how it’s helped change his ways. Good on Stella for reconsidering the rule of religion, but it came to complications between Joe and Mike. I do get Agnes’ frustration at Schuey for using his voice in a different way, but I love how understanding she is too. I’m just glad that he and Tyler performed the rap, which was a perfect end to the first episode. Episode 2 of the show saw Portia feeling left out of Schuey's church group , and whilst doing some Tarot cards, Portia revealed some stuff to Agnes linking to Schuey’s past. But Agnes reassured him that she doesn’t care about the past, knowing that being with her helps, and Portia then made up with him, knowing that despite not seeing him much, if he’s happy, then she’s happy. Darius told Ashton to be careful whilst he made a deal on some trainers, whilst Donte has problems of his own with regards to money. Darius sneakily asked him about Ashton about the money, who of course denies all of it, but was later showcased to find out that Izzy used Donte’s credit card whilst Donte himself confided in Nicky about it. It then led to Ashton taking matters into his own hands when Izzy mentioned insurance, whilst Izzy herself came clean and why she did it (which I’m not sure I buy). After finding Ashton burning his car hoping to get insurance to help fix his problem, Donte told Ashton and Izzy to butt their heads together and get on in the hope of a fresh start. And he’s not the only one hoping for a fresh start. Nicky’s hopes of a holiday with Tonya and Preston were out of the water, and Deb’s filling in for Wendy (which I’ll get on in a moment) caused all sorts of drama. This included Neil getting a file Debs gave him with Debs messing up realising it was supposed to be confidential, where Debs got off lightly for it after Nicky asked Val not to make a complaint. Nicky also gave her a tip when it comes to “asking for a staple”, but one student got their hands on alcohol (which Ben also got involved in), Debs, being the cheeky woman she is, asks Nicky to cover it up after finding Forest and getting a telling off from Stella. But Stella could see that nicky is more than a catering woman, praising her and mentioning the scheme for a management position. I’m glad she took it, as it may be the fresh start she needed. And if Tonya and Deb’s support her, it says it all really. But the main thing was Wendy talking about a recruitment process, getting praise in the process. Although I could sense that Ben is not keen on it when he’s roped in with it. Val teaches the year 6s music, but also informing Stella of the kids fearing her whilst she gives a speech about this school. Ben was also causing trouble following having some alcohol he found, with Shola being suspicious of ben whilst Neil showed his way of learning, and she was right, as she ended up having a go at him and Dwayne also finding it hard when he finds out about bens drinking. And despite Nisha finding out about the drinking, reporting it to Stella, the day turned out it’s a success. But that wasn’t the only thing on her mind, as Nisha grilled Stella on Marc with her backing off Darius. But Wendy managed to persuade him otherwise, with a lesson in bingo not convincing Nisha, telling him how Marc is innocent whilst he manipulates the situation, and somehow he manages to pull it off. And Libby officially come back with Stace, Lois and Aleena supporting her in their own way. Neil also confided in Jack about Libby and asking for support who then denies support from him, with Aleena, Lois and Stace asking her about it. This only caused Libby to lash out at Aleena, who then confided in Jack about it, as she thought people expected her to cry and be the victim when in fact she wanted to deal with it in her own way. But I’m glad that she apologised, with the trio then accepting her decision on wanting some normality.
House of Guinness:
This week I started a new show created by Steven Knight (who was also the creator of Peaky Blinders). This was based on true events, so I’m still trying to work out the gist of it all, but I know I’ll get into it at some point. Here’s what I’ve gathered from this episode… the funeral of Benjamin Lee Guinness’ (creator of the popular alcoholic brand) saw Sean Rafferty taking over, which then caused a Rebellion following the death of him linking to the British ties led by the Fenians. Guinness’ children Arthur, Ben, Edward and Anne needed to be civilised, with Anne initiating the idea. This then led to the children’s given responsibilities whilst the funeral was taking place, and Patrick’s (the leader of the Fenians) sister Ellen told him to think carefully now that Benjamin is dead, with him thinking blackmail is not great, but she revealed that all of the siblings but one have secrets. I also gathered that Anne meeting Sean to give him some money and talking about their affair and having a steamy moment using a cat analogy. It definitely got me going that’s for sure. At the wake (or at least their version), their Aunt Agnes asked about the will and also about two Irish mythical brothers resembling Arthur and Edward. This then led to a talk about the past 5 years where Edward worked at the brewery but Arthur is convinced he’ll get it being the eldest, with Edward offering him a deal. And whilst they were thinking about business, Ben is hitting rock bottom, with his childhood love Christine refusing to give him bullets, thinking he would kill himself. But Ben revealed the real reason as to why he needed them after revealing he needed money, rejecting Christine’s offer due to his poor conditions. Uncle Henry stated during a meeting with the brothers about who’s going to gain what in the will, with Anne interfering stating that she could be the owner of the brewery. But one thing I’ve learnt about Ellen, is that you do not want to see her nasty side when asking to see Bonnie champion, who states his thoughts on fenians and Ellen gives him a deal to get some secrets, with one revealing bens mental health, but what she really wants is the secrets of Arthur. Sean also has a battle on his hands when the Guinness barrels being set on fire, and seeing Ellen may be the start of war. Meanwhile Arthur described his thoughts on love when seeing Ben and Christine, with Edward convincing him go take to the house of commons and Edward being the owner of the brewery. This then led to Arthur expressing his own fears, and I know it’s going to be a good show. Following that explosive end to the episode, episode 2 saw Rafferty making a speech on the Irish republican brotherhood, with him mentioning that someone is hiding secrets, resulting in giving his staff more work and less pay until the culprit is revealed. That is something that understandably they do not want to hear. Meanwhile, the will seeing the brewery belonging to Arthur and Edward, but if they decline they could loose everything, an Anne was left with nothing other the the estates in the permission from arthur and Benjamin with nothing other than a small sun of money. Ben being informed that Bonnie wants to see him. Following it, Anne interrupted Edward about her alternative, opening up about her mental health and referring to the cat analogy in the previous episode. And whilst that was happening, Ben stood up to Bonnie, but all he wanted Ben to do was reveal some secrets about Arthur. And we saw one of them, as Arthur confided in his lover Michael, who asks him to stay with him. Edward also revealed about how he turned to religion, and asking Anne to help find wives for both him and Arthur. But Anne knew she had to be specific for them, with revealing the “complication” to Edward, with him suggesting to find Arthur a wife who knows about it. Following on from that, Ben revealed to Edward he knows some of his secrets, and Rafferty ask made threats to his colleagues (which was quite tense to watch) with one person revealing the name of who did it. This then led to Patrick getting confronted by rafferty, revealing his associate is seeing Ellen. Thankfully she was safe, and Patrick gave her the letter with benjamin Franklin’s words and Ellen writing a letter if her own, determined not to land herself in danger. Edward is also definitely starting to show is leadership status, with him not being happy about the servant covering up an ink spillage whilst showing him and Arthur a map. And after moving swiftly on from that, Edward explained to Arthur about his new plans with Arthur noticing a bad obsession with it, which I feel will grow throughout the series. Whilst Anne was out for afternoon tea, Aunt Agnes was seemingly pleased with the will with her getting Edward a match herself, but Anne said no after revealing he should do it himself. This then led to Agnes scoffing at Anne’s idea whilst she revealed her trauma is going through an arranged marriage. The end of the episode saw Edward and Arthur meeting Rafferty about the threat, revealing Arthur’s secret and mentioning Bonnies business and needing £5 grand. This conclusion saw Arthur refusing to back down on getting into parliament, Edward asking to meet Ellen whilst also warning Rafferty to stay away from Anne. If that’s not a brotherly threat I don’t know what is.
Personal:
Exercise:
This week along with my usual routine and yoga, I did some good timings on the exercise bike. These included 13mins 15secs on the Monday and 12mins 55secs on the Saturday, which for me is still pretty good, and I managed to get to 15k at a decent time as well as seen below. A good week of exercise I feel was well and truly brilliant.
Cooking:
This weeks cooking went smoother than last week, mainly because it was one dish this time lol! But I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it, as the texture was just right, and for me it tasted like a pancake batter mix, which was very nice. To say that I’ve never made it before, I did quite well!

Surveys:
This week I only did a small amount of surveys this week. I know that now we’re in the 4th and final quarter of 2025, I know that self care would be hard to fit in. But as stated before, 2% of surveys is better than 0%, so at least I’m framing it as a positive.
Darts:
This week I only had two practices, one at my none acting job, and the other at my home. I could’ve done more, but at least I did them at a time where I needed to let out some unwanted stress and tension. See below the trebles/doubles I hit along with some near misses.
World Grand Prix:
This week I watched the only tournament in darts where you have to start on a double. There was drama, chaos and brilliant scoring, but it was nice to watch a match where it just helped me escape from some of the lows in the week. I only watched a small amount of the final, not because I didn’t think the two Lukes are bad, but because I’ve seen so many matches with them so many times, I knew what I was going to expect. But all in all, that week has been a really great tournament in the brilliant city of Leicester.
Strictly Come Dancing:
This week I watched the rest of the second live show. I must say, I commend George for doing his paso doble whilst he was sustaining an injury (which was revealed in an article when he was on It Takes Two), and even if he did mention it, that dance certainly has now made him a dark horse in the competition. And Balvinders Charleston had everyone in shock, and her sister was right that Julian definitely helped in getting the playful side out of her. At this point going into movie week, my predictions may change yet again!
I’ve also watched the first good chunk of movie week. I loved the appearance from Cynthia Erivo, who you might know best for playing Elphaba in the live action of Wicked and the upcoming sequel “Wicked: For Good”, who gave the contestants tips and tricks to help them succeed in the competition. There were lots of brilliant dances. One of my favourite was George’s Couples Choice, where I do relate to him being an introvert and why being a YouTuber has helped him grow in confidence. I also loved Ellie’s samba to Barbie, and how much it meant to her. Jimmys Rumba was beautiful to watch, and even Anton said himself it’s one of the best rumbas he’s seen. And finally ambers American smooth to The Sound of Music definitely brought back memories for me. I can’t wait to watch the rest to see how the last two contestants get on.

Gogglebox:
The telly critics have once again got up to some humorous adventures. Amira asked amani’s honest opinion about her eye brows, and Ellie chatted to Izzi about her chicken extension. Calum told Jake about his regular breakfast, and Pete teased Sophie for being a gym addict (which is nothing wrong with that). Mary and Giles talked about how salt and sugar made good taste good (and they weren’t wrong), and Jake tells Harry, Michael and Sally how he’s a man now that he’s 18 (but thankfully in a humorous way). Finally, Andrew not being able to find the car keys whilst Alfie is loving his new headphones was golden, and Sara telling Lara about the appointment to the chiropractor where she has to exercises like a chicken was quite funny. They also watched some amazing tv this week as always. “Celebrity Traitors” saw Alan start the first task, Abi and carls secret being exposed in “Coronation Street” with Pete mentioning that Carl likes a certainly sexual activity, which I found quite funny. Patrick didn’t understand Kacies decision through “Love is Blind”, and “The Girlfriend” saw a gripping finale which left the Goggleboxers frustrated. “Yorkshire Aid 999” saw a man get stuck on top of his tractor with the Goggleboxers seeing that it’s definitely a Yorkshire programme, and “BBC news” showed technology developing, confusing both me and the goggleboxers. Finally, “Nightmares of Nature” saw a mouse outsmart an owl, and “The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy” saw him having a tour of Windsor castle whilst getting to know Williams personal life.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
This week some of the hurdles I faced were a few things. The first thing was that I was unable to sign up to a fundraiser for the national autistic society due to missing the registration. However, I still got involved somehow by signing their petition following the news about Donald Trumps “discovery” of “what causes autism”. So at least I’ve done something to play my part. Another

The other thing that I had to look at was to say no to some stuff knowing that I wouldn’t have the money and also due to reasons beyond my control. But what I can remember from Ross Grant from Act On This saying that by saying no to one thing, you’re saying he’s to something else. And that yes may be the thing I need to help me seek more opportunities within the industry. It’s also a similar case to acting jobs I saved, where I had to turn a few down. It’s also moments like this where I need to think to myself “what jobs am i actually going to fully commit to applying to?” And then take it from there. And it’s also moments like this where sometimes you need to get rid of the good to make room for the great. Another moment was towards the end of the week where some of my emotions got too much for me. I’ll admit, I did take it out on some of my family I hold my hands up, but once I calmed down I soon apologised for my actions. However, how I coped with this is recognising the triggers, in this case, I’m probably exhausted and needed my alone time, and I did it by watching House of Guinness. That along with photos of my dog as seen below also help. If anyone also had feelings like this, please know that it will pass, and everyone does have the odd argument with family as it’s perfectly natural.

The final thing that happened was that a writing workshop I signed up for sadly didn’t take place, and it could've been a multitude of reasons for it (spaces already filling up by the time I confirmed it, a change in plans or cancelled due to illness). But what I did to manage it was put the word “OR” next to what I was going to do. And that’s my advice for a who’s autistic and reading this. If change without warning is something you struggle with, I would recommend putting the word “OR” next to an event that you’ve pre scheduled in months in advance. So then if it does get cancelled or things happen beyond your control, you can manage that change better.
What have I learnt this week? To watch my energy levels, as an imbalance for me can cause change in mood swings as seen last week.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
