Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week wasn’t easy as it started with the bug I caught last week. But that didn’t stop me from doing what I love, which included doing an alternative to my usual acting class, getting back to archery and starting to watch the Grand Slam of darts. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 3rd November 2025:

Professional:

Acting Class:

This weeks class was abit different as due to having a cold, I had to go online. It did feel weird, but also really good. And it’s moments like this where everything happens for a reason, as an online project in preparation for 20th December may be another thing to get involved in if I can’t use all of my ideas in person. It’ll also be the perfect opportunity to also share it on my social media as well, so there’s always the added bonus.

Acting Jobs:

This week I applied for more acting jobs. Although one of them required a voice note rather than a video, which I didn’t realise until after I was submitting it. And it also came to the time I had to renew my Spotlight profile, and after changing my bank details, I can’t wait to look at another year of searching for jobs.

Emails to Creatives:

This week I drafted more emails to industry creatives. There was alot to get through, as whilst I can mention the same stuff to some creatives, I also know there are some bits I need to mention to specific people. But at least I’ve managed to get the effort to set up those emails to send in the new week, and fingers crossed it’s all positive.

Film Festival Update:

This week I got an update from the mum of one of the actors in my film "Unmasked" on their visit to a film festival my film had been selected for. Whilst we didn't won anything, the seemed to have a really good time. They met lots of people, and with the mum stating how she represented the film well was all I needed to hear. That definitely made me one very happy creative!

Act On This:

This weeks act on this podcast starred Head of Hollyoaks casting director Peter Hunt. Here he talked about all things 30th anniversary, some inside gossip on Brookside and recapping on how to get on his radar for upcoming shows like Hollyoaks. But it has been a very informative session, and despite having a cold this was a definite brilliant distraction!

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 31st October directed by Mickey Jones and 3rd November directed by Jordan Hogg. Maggie was telling Eva to pull out all the stops for Halloween, whilst meeting Adam and checking in on each other. Amy also praised  Maggie for helping Asha whilst finding a punch bowl and meeting Ken. After telling George her outfit of choice, Eva had an awkward encounter with Adam, telling Ben later on who Adam really is with Maggie overhearing everything. This was then followed by Eva talking about Adam and Alya and finding out Maggie wasn’t charging the drinks along with whilst she causes trouble with Adam. Ben then finally told her to stop selling free drinks whilst David got to know Ben. But whilst Adam checked in on Eva, David wanted to play with bens rugby ball, with Eva and Adam prompting another catch up with Eva making it clear there ads no free drinks. At the end of the night, Ben and Eva did some reflecting he apologised about Maggie and Eva naming it clear Adam is in the past. But the trouble was only starting the following morning Ben and Eva cleaning up, with Ollie talking about getting Will from the airport and also talking about Dee Dee. Maggie tried to convince Ben that giving free drinks was her investing in the future, whilst Shona was laughing at David about the term “ping” and doing his research on Ben, with Christina finding it funny, with the term “pinging” means Ben likes him. Although he soon got himself into some trouble when Ben suspected David taking his rugby shirt and Shona convinced him it wasn’t him, with Shona talking about his past and how he shouldn’t come on too strong. But that was only to find out that he he did take the shirt, with Eva to telling him not to make enemies with the locals and lightened the mood by telling everyone about Maggie's youth. Eva then told Christina and George about Wills travels with Christina wanting to learn languages and go to Amsterdam, only for Ollie to say that Will wasn’t there with Maggie stating he didn’t want to move, but Ben stating the move was his idea. Maggie then asked Glenda about George and Christina (where she encourages him to go for it after admitting he doesn’t want to get hurt) and getting an update on Will followed by David giving his shirt back, and parting on good terms. Maggie was soon annoyed by the group chat and Eva still having no word and Maggie mocking her about it. She then made it clear that after a clue linked to where Will is, Maggie made it clear that Eva will be in trouble. Before the events of Halloween. Glenda invited Kevin to the rovers whilst spotting something suspicious (which I’ll get into in a moment), with Glenda telling him to make up with Debbie, knowing the time she has left with her dementia. This soon got Kevin and Debbie apologising and putting it all behind them whilst falling for Carl's lies (which I’ll get onto right now). And after Ben gave Carl an intimidating threat, James queries his worries to him, with Debbie catching them together, and James officially backing off of him. This then prompted Carl being late to his shift when Debbie questions him and James after bringing up something in the past, but Carl using the dementia card to cover it. But Debbie has more drama going on when Carl convinced her to let him take charge of her bank accounts, leading to a chat with Glenda about giving up the hotel.  And Carl's plan soon backfired when Debbie told him that he can help out but not with the finances, convincing that she needs to do her bit. There also trouble in paradise for one couple. It all started with Lisa convincing Carla to have more fun, but the mood turns awkward when Becky came again. Whilst at the Rovers, Carla seeing a video of Lisa, Betsy and Becky got her overwhelmed, and Betsy convincing Lisa that she hasn’t done anything wrong, only for her to phone Becky and having a plan, leading to Becky turning up during a drinking game and asking avoid the music. Lisa then asked Betsy if it’s not weird Becky being back, but their wedding song and vows got her overwhelmed, all while Carla confided in Roy about it. Becky then made her move on kissing Lisa, but Lisa pulled back, making it clear that she doesn’t want her back, using a coverup so the that Lisa is a lightweight when Betsy asked why she left. Lisa then revealed the truth, understandably infuriating Carla, and also making her stance clear and wanting her to leave. Lisa later on stated that Becky will only be there for betsy, with her stating that she loves her, but the question on if she loved Becky lead to chatting to Roy about feeling like second best, but Carla telling him she wants to get revenge. The following day saw them still at loggerheads, with Lisa explaining what would happen, with Carla thinking Becky will persuade her only for Ryan to come back. Ryan then came to the factory to reflect on Ireland and to reassure Carla about Lisa. This prompted Becky meeting Carla, stating her old live is gone and Becky flipping it by mentioning her past and how Lisa still has feelings for her. Lisa then convinced carla that Becky is intimidating her, but she still made it clear that Becky needs to go. But Becky tried once again to win Lisa over, but she made it clear she doesn’t want her, and finding out about Betsy coming with her to Spain. This then led to an honest chat about how living in Spain would work, with lisa stating the reality of it, followed by admitting she doesn’t want it, ending Lisa, Carla and Ryan chatting about it. And whilst Roy gave everyone an update on Asha, Tim offered Cassie a job, and Tracy finding out about it wasted no time for her to intimidate her. Tim then told her not to listen to Tracy, with Cassie then standing up to Tracy, making it clear react won’t break her and Steve up. And during her first day at street cars, Tim setting her up with a fake booking got her the job. And after Amy mocked Tracy for going into Ken’s parcel and a delivery which got on Tracy’s nerves, Cassie did try to convince her that she’s being nice. It only got Tracy in sabotaging her job, with Tim being suspicious but eventually found out that Tracy sabotaged it, with Tim admitting she’s scared of Tracy. And after Tracy denied it and getting back on good terms with Tim, Tracy still mocked Cassie, but let’s just say their feud will escalate even more soon. Finally, Dev was nervous to see Asha, but was also relieved when he met her at the mental health centre. He also reassured her when she states she needs more time, so I hope she gets the help she needs. Finally, I watched 5th November directed by Jordan Hogg. Susie was clearly wanting to go back to her old school, with Eva berating Maggie for giving her false hope about Will coming back, with Eva asking Leanne if she wants sister time. Lilys simple question of wanting a bag of crisps was then followed by Will calling from the street. Whilst all that was happening, Brian bless him was trying to reassure Maggie, which didn’t help, whilst Roy told a story followed by Maggie handing out posters. Ben and Eva then got interviewed whilst Wills phone is ringing but goes straight to voicemail, with Will getting lily to do something, which she reported to Eva and Ben. Following that, Leanne told Maggie to go easy on Lily after asking her about Will, with Maggie convincing he’s not that far away. After Susie getting a hug from Eva when things become too much for her, she was relieved to find Will at their doorstep. Wills coach Megan then explained what happened, causing Maggie grief as well. Will then went onto stating that he wanted to stay in Hull, and the love note was from the past, prompting Eva to tell Ben and Will to leave it when they get into a heated argument. Maggie then came to realising it wasn’t Eva’s fault, and wondering what he’s hiding, which is revealed that Will and Megan are an item and plan to run away together. Now that’s a storyline that’s going to get interesting! Elsewhere, it was quite entertaining to see Cassie annoying Tracy when she spoke Spanish, correcting her that it’s Ken’s house not hers. And speaking of Ken, he ended up having a bug, with Cassie calling a doctor and Ken sensing that Cassie is enjoying her feud with Tracy. Tracy herself, wanted a truce for Ken’s sake, which made Cassie suspicious and eventually thinking that she’s blackmailing her. But a prank on her she did then made Cassie accuse Tracy of neglecting her duties as a carer, getting one up on her. Cassie then looked after Ken and telling him the lie about Tracy, in which Tracy then revealed her divorce lawyer dropped her due to not having enough money, but refused to sign the conditional order. Elsewhere, we saw Debbie instructing Carl to do a room check whilst Carl manipulated her into thinking she needs to take it easy. Ronnie praised Carl for stepping on, whilst he convinced him to have some time off, with Debbie getting wind of it, and Carl booking the holiday after Debbie sorted a situation. I just can’t believe he’s using the dementia card again, which understandably scares Debbie, where she eventually revealed to Ronnie about her symptoms, with a phrase disturbing Carl. The then got Debbie realising that the holiday is a good idea after all, and Carl's plan to get hold of the bank accounts once again backfired. Finally, Betsy gave Carla the silent treatment, with her and Lisa wondering what to do. Carla then reminded Lisa Betsy is 18 and shared their concern for Eva, with Betsy convincing Carla to go to Spain. Carla then came to accepting the idea of going, with Becky secretly not liking the idea of Carla coming, and tries to flip it, with only Betsy stating Carla’s brilliance towards them. Something tells me it won’t the only drama that happens.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw accusations fly, the residents saying goodbye to a well known individual, and a new mother struggling to adapt to her new life. Mondays episode saw Donny get called in for a meeting following Dodgers report about Griff. You can imagine his frustration when he boss reveals that sully was part of an undercover operation that went too far, and that didn’t stop Dodger giving a piece of Sully's mind, followed by retracting his statement, claiming he knows how cases of rape work. Although it did mean getting Donny and Warren to remove Griff's body, but I wonder what we will discover when Warren notices Gemma (who was shocked herself when sully told her what Griff did to dodger), comes up on Griff's phone? Meanwhile Misbah gave a beautiful eulogy to Peri, it got prince inspired to make motivational videos after getting a letter with regards to the custody of Theo. And clothe start for Cleo’s new storyline is underway when only just gets over the fact that her baby is safe, but something tells me she’ll soon spiral when one of the nurses moves the teddy Mercedes got her (which he a camera to keep an eye on her baby). Tuesdays episode as Nancy back at Dee Valley hospital, recovering from her injuries from the 30th anniversary explosion. We then saw Diane getting questioned by Dodger about Tony, and her possible motives, with Dee Dee pointing out that Diane is lying about something. And a trip to see Nancy saw Diane bumping into Darren, making it clear tony doesn’t want Morgan near tony, and a chilling threat did give her some worries. That along with Nancy backing up his decision, but later pleads Darren to at least think about it, knowing that the truth will have to come out eventually. Elsewhere it was the day of Peris funeral, but Donny, Sully and Froggy coming into reveal secrets didn’t help, which caused Misbah to break off her engagement with Donny, which I don’t really blame her for. And Leela and Prince may also be at the end of the road when he showed Leela one of his videos thinking it would help. And Donny is in too deep when Warren reveals Gemma’s link to Griff, with a threat from Warren making Gemma think twice. Gemma then told Donny how she got involved with Froggy, Sully and Griff, with Donny managing to convince her that Warren killed Griff. But with Froggy and Sully now setting a plan to kill Warren, I wonder what Gemma will do with that information? Finally, Wednesdays episode sad Gemma try to stop Sully from killing Warren, and making out to Froggy that he’s alive. She then confronted him on the diamonds she got from him after froggy confirms that they are fake. Elsewhere, a tense moment between Diane and Darren was caught filmed by Ant, and Dee Dee made a confession about seeing Darren shooting tony. It then led to Darren getting arrested, and Dodger clearly lost his temper with him, which I think is linked to what happened between him and Griff (which is understandable). But things were about to get more complicated when Dee Dee revealed that she lied about seeing Darren, with Ant adamant that he’s still guilty. We then saw a flashback of the moment Darren had the gun, revealing he couldn’t actually go through with it. Whilst I applaud him for that, let’s just hope that with Nancys help he can make others see that he’s not guilty. And I don’t know if Prince will win Leela back following his video he showed her, and along with Goldie berating her, his reason as to why he’s making these videos was not enough. But at least the advice he gave helped Ant in some way, so at least that’s a positive sign.

Eastenders:

This week we saw two residents finally escaping, one confronting her past and accusations flying. Mondays episode saw Zoe continue to figure out who’s trying to stalk her, along with who took her cat mini Mo after Freddie stated that she’s gone missing. Anthony kindly offered his services, and then stated that she should focus on finding her son. But with the PI stating she needs £3k after Sharon backs out of it upon learning the truth, it looks like things will get more tricky for her. That along with someone damaging photos in the living room. Meanwhile Phil was understandably furious when he hears about Nigel’s run in with the law, but a chat from George and a statement from Jack as to the sacrifice Julie would make for Phil apologising. I’m sure at this point now he and Julie will work together to support Nigel along with Phil’s solicitor friend Ritchie. Meanwhile, I had to almost not pay attention to Kojo and Okie due to it being hard to watch, especially when Okie destroyed Kojo's car and instructing him to do some jobs. I do hope that Kojo will think of a plan to get him and Harry out. Finally Suki and Eve were nervous about a visit from Eves mum, and so far she seems to be happy for them when they bring up the adoption plan, and I think her liking the name “nanny Norma” is a sign. Let’s just hope I’m right. Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from Zoe seeing the pictures, desperate that someone is trying to get her. Not only that, Kat managed to sell her shares to get another clue from the private investigator, but they had little success, with Vicki mocking them of their efforts. And whilst Anthony did a nice thing for Zoe linking to Mini Mo the cat, Alfie made a discovery from Bert and Ernie linking to the photos. I do wonder if she genuinely was going through a psychotic episode that made her do that? Meanwhile Eve gave Norma the tour around Walford, and so far she was impressed despite catching Priya and Ravi together on the van. But a trip to The Albert and showing Avani Eves sister did push her buttons, and even Sukis words weren’t enough. As back at home, a chat about the past got Eve to breaking point, with Norma telling Suki that “Hurricane Eve” is happening again. But the thing that was most hard to watch was Okie and Harry, and I’m glad Kojo finally made an escape to find George, Teddy and Junior, each of them debating whether to call the police or not knowing that even though Kojo and Harry were victims, they could still possibly get charged. But George may have done the right thing, but I just hope they go east on Kojo at least. Wednesdays episode saw Kat being suspicious of what else Zoe has lied about, and even Freddie can give her an alibi when she got a text about Mini Mo being found. But Alfie took the more sensible approach when querying on if it’s possibly kids messing around. Elsewhere Nigel had his medical assessment before his court hearing, and just like Julie and Phil I’m hoping it’ll be enough for the judges to see that life in prison is not for him. Meanwhile what Norma said to Eve got her changing her mind about adopting again, but it looks like Suki turning to Lily for help did the trick. And good on Eve for standing up to her, and o can see why she left when she did. And finally I did feel sorry for Kojo when the police asked him some questions, as I know I would find it all overwhelming as well. It was good to know that they only want questions and not under arrest, with Harry revealing how Ravi was in charge of the whole thing. I can’t wait to see what he says in his interview. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Ravi being questioned about his involvement in the gang. First stating no comment, and then the talk of Harry’s injuries got him thinking, whilst Priya had some words with Jack and told Ravi about what she’ll do her end. This prompted Ravi to tell the officers what he can do for them in exchange for walking away, but I wonder what Ravi will do after they offer him to pose as an informant? And understandably Gina and George are both mad at Harry, but Nicola tried to make George see that harry and Kojo will never leave their side. But I wonder what she’ll do next after getting a positive pregnancy test? Elsewhere whilst Alfie is trying to set up a new quiz, Kat tried to get through to Zoe, with her attempt to making her see she’s ill is not helping. But a shock from Bert led to Ernie finding Mini Mo, and Kat knowing that Zoe is telling the truth about not faking Mini Mos disappearance. It’ll definitely take some convincing from Alfie, and Anthony is also getting suspicions raised as after Denzel is wanting to go on a culinary course, Anthony’s news about a clinic job in Walford led to a tense phone call. I wonder what that’s all about? But at least there’s some good news for Eve and Suki, as after a bad reference from Norma, the application for the adoption agency being approved is one step in the right direction!

We Might Regret This:

This week I watched two more episodes of the sitcom casted by Amy Jackson. Episode 3 saw Jo using her training to help clean freya, only to get herself into an awkward situation when Jo starts to gag, but continued with the regime anyway. Abe then came in at an awkward time and wanting to celebrate the electric chair, but Freya asking what he really thinks of her wondering if it’s because she’s just a wheelchair user, with Abe telling her that those who don’t see that it’s a part of her personality is their loss (which is quite inspiring as I know that for me, being autistic is only a part of me). We then saw Levi bringing stuff to his “date” with Jo whilst naming Freya’s chair, but soon changed her mind after having a spin on it. Whilst all of this was happening, Abe and Jane went to therapy to talk through their divorce, followed by discussing their assets, with the main one being the house. On the way back from therapy, Abe reflected on time being more important than money, whilst Jane still wants the house and Abe talking about the changes to the house, only for her car to get smashed, with Abe then revealing he can’t afford to buy Jane out. Whilst Abe was gone, the builder known as Baker, came to look at the house for work, Freya was still being snarky and after an awkward communication on what’s is deemed as “harassment”, talked about his mums chronic pain. And I’m we all need a friend like Baker, who stated to Freya that even though it’s technically Abe's house, she needs the home sorted for HER, and after getting annoyed again with Jo, Freya then opened up about how being in an electric wheelchair would make her feel more disabled. But an encouragement from Baker got her realising that it wasn’t so bad after all. Whilst that was all happening, Levi and Jo got their flirt on whilst Levi was sorting the van out during a game of truth or dare, and later revealed the death of his brother, which was the reason Jane left. Jo then revealed herself that she has nowhere to go and things got passionate between the pair again. Episode 4 saw Jo and Levi waking up together, with Jo promising to get to “3rd base” and using a cover up to Abe that starting up the truck was the reason on why he was at the house early. During all things, Freya told Jo about Abe not being there and how Levi is always there, with Abe questioning his breakdown whilst Freya goes to a shoot in the style of a woman called Frida Kahlo. Whilst there, she found out that the director Haruka is also into art as well, whilst Jo gets a text from Levi. Haruka then asked about acoustic healing work, with Jo being confused on their interest in art, telling Freya that she stated that she’d swore off those people, with Freya wondering what she moved for. Shortly after the shoot, Haruka asked her out, but rejecting with Jo not wanting to go. But after changes her mind to flirt with Haruka, she soon decided to leave again after seeing Haruka high as a kite, with Jo making it clear she’s her PA and that the reason why she wanted to go originally was because she wanted to feel human. Whilst all that was happening, Levi was struggling to cook, with Abe then suggesting to test it out at the park, followed by Jane convincing him to get a real job. But they it anyway which is a success, even if Levi took out his temper during an awkward encounter which resulted in Abe getting a minor injury. This then got Jane reflecting on the day, with Abe realising he’s not being a good partner to Freya, signing his and Janes divorce papers with Levi suggesting to do something spontaneous. At the end of the day, we saw Abe opening up about Levi whilst Levi and Jo get intimate again (which got interrupted by great again, but that’s the life of a PA), and Freya and Abe also reflecting on the day, talking about the drinks and Freya feeling like second best. I can’t wait for the next episode where they go on their trip together.

The Hack:

This week I watched 3 episodes of the drama based on a true story. Episode 3 started with A voice note coming in from Nicks phone about the messages, going back to the committee and showing them copies of emails of hacked voicemails. Alan was abit surprised by the kids helping him, but soon Alan got a call from David Leppard from the Sunday times, and revealed that Alan hired John ford to hack phones. We then went to the year 2009 showing where we were at the beginning of the episode, with Nick explaining who John ford was and Alan’s connection to him, inviting David Leigh (who was also Alan brother in law) to help find John. But Alan suggesting a different tactic, stating he’s fighting at their industry. Nick then got an email about not reopening the case but David could detect an admission within it. Shortly after that, Nick was on the phone to the CPS about their “unmanageable approach”, only to find that the MET didn’t flag it to the CPS. This then got Nick meeting Dave and talking about the Daniel Morgan case, asking why the MET did not give evidence of the crown court service, showing him the emails, with Dave revealing secrets of it. telling Nick to be careful. We then saw Charlotte Harris getting a call from Nick, asking if he’s able to help her with Glenn MulCiare, revealing he’s out of prison as the chief hacker. This then got Nick meeting Glenn who seems on edge and asking him about Neville Thurlbeck and refusing to listen. It then got Nick and the team suggesting Scotland yard is scared of Rupert Murdoch, with his team worried about getting in the wrong end of the stick. David was on nicks side with it but Alan wanted the PCC to take over. It then left Nick feeling on edge with David, who encouraged him to keep going but go rouge.  We then saw Nick meeting Glenn again, wanting to know his story, revealing that the police has his notebooks they didn’t pick up, with Glenn telling him to be careful. Nick then suggested to Charlotte to get inside the court system and some eventual persuasion helped, leading to Nick explaining the term monstering and an example and also about Alistair Campbell. We then saw him meeting max Clifford and his job, revealing he’s been hacked and Charlotte gave Nick what Glenn wrote about max, revealing they didn’t retract Gordon Taylors paperwork. Max then revealed his relationship on Rebekah brooks and willing to help him despite the danger. Later on, Nicks wife Sheridan revealed that someone talked to her about his ex Maggie, with Nick instructing her to take a photo if they do it again. Alan then came and  revealed that John ford is sorted, but feels betrayed stating that Nick got involved without his consent, revealing he’s on his own. It then led to Nick getting a flashback from his mum, which was later followed by David stating that the PCC had no luck in their case followed by deleting messages. We then saw Nick seeing his dad, who tells him not to prove anything, and talking about his mother followed by telling him to look after himself. David then met John Yates, wanting to smooth matters, but John could see right through him, but a clue on the movements queries him on Neville thurlbeck and his many victims there are. Back at the office, Nick turned Alan afyer claiming that no one is telling the truth, revealing he’s cynical whilst Alan reveals he’s accused of having a love child. And after an apology from the friends, a suggestion what to do next saw Alan generating the idea to get in touch with numerous phone companies, where Nick explained more on Andy coulson and what happened after contacting the phone companies. This prompted in David giving 40 victims from O2 which is a start followed bf orange and Vodafone, and Nick summing up the aftermath of these discoveries, with Dave cook praising it and encouraging Nick to try harder after feeling like being ignored. Dave then suggested the idea in printing the email, which was then followed telling a secret on John Yates and Rebekah brooks revealing that Neville’s case is bigger than they thought and Nick will need proof. But it looks like he’ll have to find another approach to it, as Charlotte called Nick to come to Max but not being able to help out, with Nick them explaining what happened to Clifford and Harris, followed by why power and secrecy walk hand in hand. Episode 4 started on Christmas Day 2005,  seeing Dave spend time with his family, but got a message on James ward, stating he’ll reveal the truth about who killed Daniel Morgan. We then saw him talking to John Yates, and explaining James Ward’s criminal background, stating that he works in customs. Whilst interviewing James, he statins that he rang because his wife is unwell and mentioned the names Glenn and Jimmy Cook, calling it the golden wonder murder. Dave then reported it back to John, going go back to protocol whilst Dave explains what a cleansing process is. But Dave then broke the news to James that he was unable to speak to him to avoid influencing him, with James then stating he can’t trust the MET, but will go through it with John suggesting to reopen the case for a 5th time. Chapter 6 saw Jacqui not being convinced about the case being easy in fear of the news of the world getting into their lives again, with Dave being the one who knows it better than him, but Jacqui was also thinking that he only wants it for himself. Dave then stated in the meeting that James can be a start but he needs more evidence with the brother Alistair, mother Isobel and the rest of the family of Daniel not being able to trust them (which is understandable I guess). Dave then pointed out that he needed 2+ witnesses and it was then followed by Graham explaining the fear of the suspects and the motives for Daniel’s murder. Alistair then asked questions which link to triggers, with John then convincing Dave that they need “the sun” to help, saying that a colleague called Mike is reliable with Rebekah brooks now the editor of the sun. Chapter 7: the alliance saw Dave and Graham going to the sun and meeting Mike, questioning him on Alex Muranchak and Mike getting him to earn his trust. Glenn’s wife Kim then read the article, and even that in itself didn’t help. Dave then had to convinced Graham that Johnathan Rees is quiet, with Rees mentioning about news of the world not paying. Mike then informed Dave on Gary Eaton and a potential clue and only wanting to speak to Dave due to thinking the MET is bent. Dave and Graham then met Gary Eaton and revealed his fear, with Dave wondering if he can trust him, with him needing guarantee, and then opening up about his encounter with Jimmy and why they killed Daniel. Dave then reported it back to John about Gary’s evidence, with Dave thinking he could be the key to solving the case. Chapter 8: fragile saw Dave updating the team on Gary Eaton and looking aftering him. Some time after, Dave reported back to Alistair on the case, reflecting on the night it happened and stating how Jonathan Rees mentioning a Trojan bug is another step into the case, but Jacqui stated that they need witness protection. But John then found out about Gary contacting Dave, with Dave stating it was out of concern, and John using a golf analogy of perspectives. John then explained what would happen if it were to be revealed, with Dave stating that Gary is a suicide risk, but John banned him from contacting Gary. It all got tense when Glenn found a bug, with one colleague revealing a tabloid trying to sell a story of Dave and Jacqui. who was revealed to be Alex Marunchak. This then led to Dave telling Mike about it, with Mike then telling him they need protection, with Dave recapping to leave it to other people, asking about when becoming the public targets. And you could tell that this was a case that definitely takes a mental toll, Dave started suffering from a collapse which may be a physical symptom of the stress it’s causing. but none the less, he carried on, as it was followed by getting a call from Dave telling Gary to sort himself out and tell the truth, with Gary then revealing that he was there on the night Daniel Morgan was killed and explained what happened. Graham then went onto ask why Gary was at the pub with Graham then taking him through the night which matches Gary’s. To help gain some distraction, Dave and Jacqui went out for dinner, but her reduced hours didn’t seem to help, with Dave trying to help her and apologising for not being present, telling a drowning analogy to tell Jacqui how to get used to the current situation. Finally in Chapter 9: drowning saw his colleague giving a new witness from Gary in the form of Lindsey Wright and meeting her to tell them what she remembers. But she refused to give a statement claiming the antidepressants mess with her memory and claiming Jimmy cook didn’t do it. Christmas the following year saw Dave and Jacqui being distant, whilst reporting back on the case that  Surrey police raiding Lindsey’s home, with Dave giving her an option to keep her safe. And after Jacqui decides to leave Dave after things get too much for her work, John gave a report from the CPS with some success of arrests being made, but Dave was wondering at what price it had to come. A transcript then showed that the 5 witnesses have all still denied involvement in the Daniel Morgan case. Finally, episode 5 saw both nicks story and Dave cooks case come together. And it all started with David Cameron making a speech of the election campaign, and Alan telling Nick of needing allies in the press, suggesting Glen Campbell from panorama and the New York Times, stating it’s a necessary idea. We then flicked to 2010, seeing Dave cook in court, suggesting on hearing evidence from him and the team. This led very nicely into Chapter 10: Spotlight, with Dave stating that it’s rubbish, and that losing Gary’s evidence would be a setback. John was convinced that Dave will be fine, but Dave was clearly not happy about it, with Mike stating they’ll do his best. Elsewhere, Nick was being praised for his journliasm, but after wanting to ask about Mr Apollo, they all knew that Nick is the keeper of the original story. But bless him, he was feeling stressed whilst a call from Charlotte Harris mentioned to let the New York Times to their thing, claiming that it’s easier to pursue. Nick then explained the story on Harry evans and how his plan is the same and how Charlotte is linked to get the Hacked victims to come forward. He also explained who he researched like MP Jess’s Dowell in the hope to get research along with Charles Clark and how Charlotte harris got victims from celebrities, but were frightened to come forward. Amongst all this, Alan mentioned that John Kelly, who is Nicole kidmans lawyer, also said no amongst other lawyers but “AZP” stated that she may come forward but most of them were saying that they’re scared. Meanwhile, Dave took his place in court where he was questioned by his rules linking to Gary Eaton, where he mentioned the brothers but not the names and then stated that Gary changed his number and didn’t record the calls. It all got tense after having a dizzy spell due to his vertigo whilst explaining the transcripts from Eaton, accusing him of manipulation. Then in Chapter 11: the line, saw nick meeting Dave who claims that without Gary’s evidence, the three witnesses were all they had left, stating he thought they could win, thinking he deserved it. Dave then asked Nick if he could win, but Nick explained it was more about self worth and mentioned Panorama and New Yorker times. Nick thenasked about Johnathan Rees, and his link to news of the world whilst Andy coulson was the news editor but kept the names out, with Nick warning Dave he could get into trouble. Nick then labelled Jonathan as “mr A” with the team having mixed opinions and Nick lashing out at gill and rufus, with Gill arguing that it’s on on public interest. Nick then when onto explaining how it failed again and how there may never be a next time. But for a call from Jo Becker revealed how they’re going to publish, where we also got to listen to Sean Hoare’s experience, who revealed he played recordings to coulson. Alan was pleased with the article, but Nick wasn’t being sure if the link was with coulson, explaining then how it made everyone braver and Charlotte Harris’ update and max mosley stating he wants to back financially to help with the case, explaining his harrowing experience and the consequences for his son, adamant he wants to spend his money to help. Nick then explained of his allies getting in touch and meeting Sienna miller, and how she decided to keep fighting despite the consequences she might face. She also went onto revealing a harrowing experience where she talked about if she wanted to keep her unborn baby, how she didn’t trust anyone due to that information being leaked leading to self sabotage and telling her mum but somehow they still found out. Meanwhile, Dave and the team saw Lindsey’s search history which links to mentioning the murders, therefore she couldn’t be a witness of truth and how her statement was all they could go off, devestating everyone. Dave’s friend Glen Campbell from Panorama then came to Dave’s new place following his and jacquis separation, who updated him on the garudian and Johnathan Rees. And it was a nice moment where dave said that he did want to see him where he stated on needed to improve time. Elsewhere, Nick got more people sent over to Charlotte, but Charlotte made it clear that he needs to take his time, but also revealing a former politician who will come forward in the form of Tommy Sheridan, where Nick explained what happened, and explained his case with Tommy sharing that he can’t trust journalists anymore. But some encouragement mentioned the name Greg Miskiw, but it was needing to be off the record, with Nick offering to help by asking Andy coulson to be a witness which takes place with questions supplied by Nick and mentioned Sean Hoare. Nick was then updating it back to sienna, where she revealed mulcaire blagged her phone number and changed it twice, but somehow still got it and linking them to news of the world stories and the name Ian Edmonson which gave Nick the link to change everything. But bud happiness was soon short lived when he got call from Sheridan with bad news from his father. Meanwhile Dave read the article whilst he got a call from Graham about old evidence on James Ward in the wrong room. He then had to go and break the news to Alistair about the evidence they failed to find, leaving Alistair devastated, knowing that it could’ve changed everything. Whilst Nick attended his dads funeral, he explained how on 14th January 2006 Rebekah brooks tried to get evidence from coulson stating that on 21st January Andy resigned. Whilst that was happening, the case came to an end with judges closing statement with all the it culprits being not guilty, whilst Nick and Alan making a toast to nicks dad, with Alan praising him for making him sound nice and also to Andy coulson. He also mentioned about reporting on murdoch going into full control, stating that it’s not over and how to tackle it one limb at a time. But Nick admitted to defeat, knowing he needed to stop for his own sanity. Meanwhile Dave had another vertigo attack, with Glen coming in and getting Dave to meet someone in the form of Gordon brown. I can’t wait to see how that goes.

Film Club:

This week I watched two more episodes of the show written by Aimee Lou Wood. Episode 3 saw a flashback to 6 months earlier, where we saw Evie’s wobble leading to a breakdown. As an autistic woman, I can relate to this so much, so well done to Aimee and the team for showing what a sensory overload can look like. The present saw Evie asking Josh what he wants in the future as a random question, but not before Callum being the cheeky cheaply he is to throw something at the window whilst Evie questions Izzie going back to her work place. workplace. We then saw Josh cheering up Suz after her meet up with Steph, whilst Noa gets questioned on the room and asking about Evie. Speaking of Evie, the start of realising her deeper feelings for Noa came when she at first taking her temper out on the keyboard, which was then followed by Noa visiting her and asking about the night before, teasing each other Evie then asked Noa about Tia and what she was like, asking if she believes in “the one” whilst sorting a cat situation, with Noa mocking Suz’s items. He paleo praised Evie for her set up on the film club, with Noa confessing he’s nervous as he’ll miss her when he’s gone, reminiscing Home Alone, but the moment was ruined when Noa mentions Evie’s job. But Evie and Noa watching an old tape of them imitating famous actors saw Noa telling Evie she’ll see all of Bristol, with Evie then explaining how her brain works, with Noa having a unique way to cheer her up, which got her riding a bike with him. But a phone call from Sammy sparked a romantic moment between the pair, thinking it’s something that Evie doesn’t want. And after avoiding her calls, I do wonder where this Will lead to Meanwhile, Suz and Josh ponder to Izzie's workplace when suggesting about her dog business, with Izzie questioning Suz about if Josh is living there at home, and telling Izzie not to berate her lifestyle choices. Josh then encouraged Izzie to go for her dog walking business, with Josh helping out and Suz suggesting the name “Homestead Hounds”. Episode 4 saw Evie having a newfound confidence, also standing up to Callum but ignoring a call from Noa, using a labyrinth reference and wanting to come and help with prep for the next film club. Evie then told Suz about going outside, with Suz needing to slow down and asked Izzie to help her and asking about the dog business card. Evie meanwhile was setting up the 200th film club and accepting Izzie's “big old walk”, informing Josh of this as well. Suz was obviously hiding her unease with Josh in agreenace, and Evie was convinced she’s going to carry on film club despite Noa leaving, with Izzie asking her if she’s in love with Josh. It then got Evie replying that Josh knows Izzie and Suz with Izzie telling her to stop pining for Noa, and Evie stating she’s only interested in walking the dog. Whilst that was happening, Noa came round, with Josh mentioning about her “big old walk”, saying it’s baby steps, and an awkward chat about his new job got Noa asking about the film. Noa then Dom who informed him about Evie not being in touch, and Dom told a story about a girl he liked and how he wished he said something, which gave Noa food for thought. They then came home to find Suz making some food for Josh party, with Josh stating she’ll come when they’re ready, inviting Suz and getting stuff to impress stating that men don’t say what they meant. But it also meant cancelling Izzie's plans to business cards, which obviously made her disappointed. Shortly afterwards, the film club crew coming with Evie coming in as the crow, with everyone liking the setup and Sammy’s poster, which revealed Evie’s places she’s been to since leaving the house and how it can promote film club. But watching the film was interrupted by Kam and Danny’s toilet break, with Noa explaining how he knew what the film was and Evie stating she wanted to go out on her own and almost told his feelings for her. Whilst all the drama was happening at film club, Suz went to Josh’s house, and after telling evie about how Noa is “desperate”, it was revealed that joshes mum knew nothing about Evie, and Suz seeing Josh’s true colours and calming one of the staff down. She then also found out that Josh made up a story about Evie, leaving immediately and Izzie getting a notification on a delivery, ruining evies film club and berating evie for hiding the parcel. Suz then back only to find a typo on the business card, with Izzie getting annoyed and decides to quit, feeling like her life is over, whilst Noa felt ghosted, and after evie stated that Sammy and Kam don’t care, Noa then opened up when she states she’s the only one who cares, deciding to end the club, and nearly revealing that she’s got feelings, leading to a tense argument about “the moment” and a comment blaming being with Josh for not saying anything, causing a strain between the pair. It then ended with Evie asking for an honest answer with Kam and Sammy, and finding out about Josh’s party causes her to accuse her of meddling in her life, leading to her having another wobble. I can’t wait to watch the rest of the next next week to see how it all unfolds!

Personal:

Exercise:

This week’s exercise I had to tone down due to being poorly. So that meant going on the exercise bike and not going as full on to go to 10k, but at least I had the energy to just go on it. As I’m writing this I feel so much better, so I’m hoping next week I can come back stronger.

Cooking:

This week I made a steak dinner. And wow it tasted good and everyone liked it. Although I had to add some additional stuff to it due to not feeling full enough. But other than that it was a good meal and a hit with the family.

Reading:

This week I finished one of the books I purchased earlier this year called “Icebreaker” by Hannah Grace. I really enjoyed this read, and especially how one character making small suggestions in their partners daily life can have a huge impact. I’m very happy I read this book, and I can’t wait to start her third book (as I read the second book “Wildfire” before “Icebreaker”) of her series before I get the last book “Holiday Ever After”.

Archery:

This week I did one of the clubs first bite sessions. This was definitely the break I needed, and an 1hr 1/2 outdoors really does wonders for your mental well-being. And to say that I haven’t shot in 1 month, I felt as though I did quite well. I can’t wait for the next session, whether that will be the indoor session on my day off or the next first bite session a week before the open house event, which I think will give me the right mentality for the performance.

Darts:

This week I had two practices. I feel I did very well, as always focusing on group work.  It with the Grand Slam of darts this week, and archery this week, a small practice of this definitely got me in the mood of my favourite sport.

Grand Slam of Darts:

This week I watched the last main big tournament before the world championships commence. And already the underdogs are taking over, and it just goes to show that anything can happen. But kudos to Michael Smith for coming back following his diagnosis with arthritis. I can honestly say that Bully Boy really is back, and I can’t wait to see what he produced next.

Strictly Come Dancing:

This week I watched the rest of Spooky week. I was surprised by who went out even though I said that at this point anyone could go. Alex and Johannes’ salsa was both cheeky and entertaining, and I can see why it was talked about alot. And ambers and Nikita’s Viennese Waltz was the perfect way to end the show, and I love Nikita dressed as a the big bad wolf. I also watched most of this weeks show, and at this point I definitely think it could be anyone’s game. George finally took the advice on enjoying the dance, and I did feel for Alex on her Paso Doble. Karen did an amazing Charleston, seeing the choreographer teaching both her and Carlos if, but my favourite had to be Balvinders Couples Choice, and I was surprised as the audience when Craig gave it a 7.

Gogglebox:

This week there were more adventures from the TV critics. One of which was Abbie telling Georgia of her new house with her cheeky antics, which Georgia found funny. Jenny told Lee about her bad experience with her electric bed, and Simon told Jane about watching 490 episodes of NCIS. Danielle told Daniella what not to share online, and Alfie was annoyed at Andrew for leaving his lozenges around the house. Finally, Anita wanted to show her appreciation to Teresa for her knee blanket she made, and Jake showing Michael sally and Harry his version of Mr. Right side on the Didgeridoo. They also reacted to brilliant shows this week. The big one was “The Celebrity Traitors” final, seeing the final showdown being tense and Alan revealing his status as a traitor and winning the show. They also watched “Hamza’s Hidden Wildlife Isles”, where Hamza Yassin hunting for a Woodcock and is harder than it looks to catch, and season 2 of “Squid Game: The Challenge” which saw a counting challenge, and asking about their job roles hoping it’ll be an advantage. “Hunted” saw one escapee Andrew making an error followed by catching Marie but Shaq winning find money, and “Trigger Point” showed the victims tied up with colleague Rich getting nervous and meeting a bad fate. Finally, “Game of Wool: Britain's Best Knitter” seeing Gordon’s and Dipti’s designs going wrong, and “ITV News” showing more news on Andrew Mountbatten Windsor being stripped off of the royals completely.

Challenges and How I Overcame Them:

The main challenge I faced this week was my cold, which therefore made me miss the in person class. However, with the premier of a film I’m going to see in which some of my classmates will be there for, I don’t want to pass on my illness to them. That was the wisest decision, as for those who star in it, I don’t want them to catch what I’ve got and miss out on what they’ve worked really hard on. I also had abit of a moment when it came to the night of the premier of the film itself, and my decision on the hotel. The reason why I originally suggested it was because even if I went on the last train, I would be late back. But because my dad can't drive I don't want to get my grandparents to pick me up at that time, and I knew it would be abit late to get a taxi back. My dad was right to suggest to sleep on it, and I'll let you know either in the next weekly highlights or a vlog which I will do, what I decide to do. My other main challenge was seeing mu dog Margo feel abit shaken up following the fireworks during bonfire night. But I managed to make sure I looked after her after my sister researched it, Margo was all wrapped up in her blanket, which did the trick.

What have I learnt this week? Slow down! Especially given I have a very busy week coming up.

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
