World Cup Drama, Bus Wobble & More Job Applying!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This addition saw me watching the darts tournament in Frankfurt, having abit of a wobble due to the bus times. And continuing to apply for more acting jobs. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 8th Jun 2026:

Professional:

Content Filming:

This week I filmed some content for my social media. I was meant to post it this week, but because of things happening (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), I’ve just spent this week editing them. But it was kind of a good thing, meaning that I can look at the sections in more detail. Keep an eye out next week on my YouTube and TikTok for the full sketch!

Job Applying:

This week I continued to apply for some more jobs. I would say I’m definitely ontop of it, and as seen below, I expressed my interest for something with the National Youth Theatre. Keep an eye out on my instagram @theautisticactress to see if I get in or not, but to what way, it was good to apply than not at all!

Acting Class:

This week I developed more skills on my acting gym. This was definitely a session I needed, as the warm ups that made me laugh my head off was definitely something I needed after not feeling well earlier that day. We then looked at the scripts my teacher was going to use as showreel scenes, to not only take our versions of it, but to also give him an idea of how he wants to film it on the day itself. So I’m really looking forward to seeing how my interpretation will inspire him!

Act On This Podcast:

This week I listened to another Act On This podcast with producer Juliet Charlesworth. This was a very interesting session, as not only do we get to see that producers are also human beings and not the big scary monsters people make them out to be, but she also goes into great depth that there’s a lot of things that go into their jobs that should make actors be more aware for when they go to set. But overall it was a really nice session, and I’ll definitely take on the tips and tricks she gave out!

Coronation Street:

This week I watched more of the show set in the fictional world of Weatherfield. 3rd (directed by Jordan Hogg), saw Lisa’s colleague finding Todd’s phone that was sold in the pawn shop, resulting in Lisa getting a match on the phone. Meanwhile, Daniel was taking a call from the school, making out he was unwell and not knowing Bertie was elsewhere, with Adam and Tracy wondering what to do with regards to his drinking, with Tracy mocking Cassie about his wearing headphones and Adam explaining a plan to teach Daniel a lesson. Daniel was then asking Ken about Bertie, sensing he has been drinking and agreed to help find them. This resulted in Tracy finding Daniel in the precinct, who sways him from calling the police after Tracy mentioned what happened, sensing she knew about it, which got him to go to Ken’s and confront Adam, who recapped everything that happened. Ken also found out, and a comment about Peter’s addiction and his late wife Sinead got Ken injured. And whilst Alya and Cassie checking in on Ken, he and Adam gave Daniel Adam a wake up call. For the Platts, Jodie was making David feeling uncomfortable whilst Shona asked her about her and Daniel, pointing out to David about something Lily is learning, with a comment for her offended. Shona was them complaining to Maria about her and David, sensing his weird behaviour, with Mary getting a unique story to say that he and Gary have a guilty conscious. Soon David and Maria were then talking about the night of Carla’s wedding and his encounter with Jodie, sensing she might be telling the truth after Maria mentioned the past and encouraged him to tell the truth. Mary was then continuing the story if her lover (which was amusing), only for David to come in to try and reveal everything, only for Shona to reveal how Jodie’s comment offended her. Speaking of Jodie, she was then coming home to find David with some chores, suggesting Daniel was right, but soon making a threat. Meanwhile, Brody was ordering food at Speed Dahl, with Leanne peaking an interest when she overheard him speaking to Dylan about working for Idris. This got Leanne questioning him about his work for him, claiming it’s clearing out flats and heavy lifting and how he’s just a normal businessman, but opening up about her taste in men, agreeing to take it slow. At the hotel, Glenda was telling Debbie a story of her performance days from the wizard of Oz, and Debbie offered Glenda to lead the choir when she dies, but her condition was slowly deteriorating whe she asked the question again. Soon Debbie talking about more of the choir with the stuff they’ve  got next with Glenda teasing her about the tunes they play and vice versa. 4th (directed by Kev Boyle), saw Brody calling sally mum, thinking he was sarcastic which was a lovely moment, only for the moment to be ruined by Lisa coming in and arrest Brody. It couldn’t have come at a bad timing, as Kit came back from Wales to reveal Todd’s phone has Brody’s fingerprints on it. Brody was then getting interviewed with Sally interfering talking about AI, which me and my dad found it entertaining, with Brody admitting he was at home but saw some footage of him, and admitting to having an alibi after his sister got drunk. Sally and Brody were then reporting to Tim about Todd’s phone, with Lisa’s colleague mentioning how it was found in Gary’s skip. For the Barlow/Osborne clan, Ken was giving his family a telling off, with Tracy thinking it was tough love and discussed another plan. Whilst Alya gave Idris the deal with Adam, Daniel walked into the cafe and got a telling off from Kirk, and after Tracy gave Sean a florist tip (which was funny), she tried to get through to Daniel urging him to see Ken. Speaking of the main man, he, Adam and Tracy were holding an intervention at No. 1, which didn’t go to plan when Daniel and Adam got heated. Tracy was then visiting Adam in his flat about what happened, with Daniel getting a call about social services, followed by Idris and Adam being at the Rovers talking about Alya’s work ethic, using an analogy which room a liking to Ken, talking about daniels outburst with Kirk present. Daniel was soon coming in to question who called them, vowing that he will find out the truth. For the Stape/Dobbs and the rest of the Platt clan, Fiz was being an embarrassing parent to Hope, with Sam not walking with her due to her obsession with Will, and Fiz was inviting him to tea and also mentioned Bethany’s dinner for her birthday, talking about the past. Meanwhile, Bethany was getting ready in the salon and her plans for birthday, with Gary reminding them on the attack, sparking concern from Maria. Soon Bethany’s birthday was taking place in the Bistro, with Sarah feeling embarrassed by her trauma and Jodie giving her a present and gossiping about Daniel and Theo’s murder got Sarah going home. Whilst that was happening, Fiz and Hope arguing about Will, which got Sam seeing “Roy” who berated him what was happening. But there was happiness when Kit found Sarah in the flat, updating her on the case and Todd’s phone and not being able to say anything due to the case, and soon moved onto how the phone was found in Gary’s skip, questioning Maria’s alibi and Maria taking about it in the Rovers. 7th (directed by Kevin Boyle), saw Kit looking through the skip, with Gary questioning him about it after revealing Todd’s phone was found, letting his frustrations out on Maria. Kit was then coming back to get his laptop and calling work about Gary, with Sarah secretly calling him afterwards. Mary was also asking Todd some interesting questions about being an undertaker, only to get a call from prison about Summer being rushed to hospital with Mary holding the fort, whilst Sarah and Gary were talking about what to do next, with Maria asking what’s going on, nearly getting caught by Maria and making out he forgot to get the tea out and distracted her by going to the Rovers. Todd was then coming into the hospital to find out Summer had a hyper, and revealed she deliberately turned off the pump due to not coping in prison. During this revelation, Maria was questioning Gary whilst Kit and Sarah were having some quality time, with Todd coming in to reveal Summer being in hospital, with Gary on edge and Sarah checking in on him, and a comment got me wondering if it was him that killed Theo. For the Barlows/Osborne clan, Daniel was preparing for the social worker, explaining to Bertie who it is, with Ruth coming up. In the cafe, Adam was worried about the assessment, with Alya encouraging him it’ll be fine and Idris mocking him but soon found the serious side to it. Once the visit was over, Ruth giving was  some compliments on Bertie, but was more concerned about Daniel, offering assistance for him. It then led to Daniel confronting Jodie about calling social services, and at the Rovers, Mary soon taking an interest to Idris (which was entertaining), only for Daniel to update them the process, and revealed the school called the social services when they overheard Bertie, giving him the wake up call he needed. For the Driscoll clan, Hope was checking in on Will about the exam, and also mentioned how he’s quitting athletics because of what Megan told her, with Sam spotting them. Will soon found out about Hope telling Ben about athletics, who reassured him it’s his decision but Hope was also saying how quitting will let Megan win, which was good advice. Later on, Hope and Will were in the cafe confirming his run, with Sam coming in and finding “Roy” giving advice. For the Platts, David was coming to the hospital to bring Harper’s stuff, only for the milestone card not being there which caused Shona having a go at him. They then came home to find the bag not bring there, reflecting on Harper’s journey and David reassuring her of how Harper is doing well. David was soon soon confronting Jodie on the milestone card, only to find out Lily saw him put it in the wrong jacket, which was then followed by Jodie also mentioning what she told Daniel of her and David. 8th (directed by Kev Boyle), saw “Roy” urging Sam to take control of his destiny, berating him for his lack of revenge and ruining their friendship. During this, Eva and Ben were feeling proud of Will for going to athletics again, with Sam watching on. He was then in for a surprise when “Roy” came into school with the students noticing it, making out he did something to Will’s water bottle, and whilst Ben and Eva were wishing Will lucky with,  Sam came to the defence and making out it was a wasp, with Eva sparking concern. “Roy” was then coming to taunt Sam again after hearing about Will, berating him for talking. For the murder case, at the flat, Maria was teasing Gary about the coffee, and soon having a go at Liam which got them suspicious. Whilst that was happening, Nina, Asha and Todd were visiting Summer, who encouraged her to carry on but admits to being frightened and how her religion has been faded since the death of Drew and Billy. Roy was also updating Tyrone on Summer, feeling guilty but soon bumping into Carl, taunting him about it and bumped into Gary, soon apologising to each other after a coffee accident. Soon Fiz found Tyrone at home, who eventually revealed he did saw Summer on the night of the murder, and also how he injured Carl, going through the night it happened and how he tried to get evidence and why he didn’t call the police. He was then mentioning how Ronnie got involved and Fiz realised his whereabouts the morning after, soon urging him to put things right and checking to see if the video is still there. This got Tyrone meeting Carl who revealed he knew it was him, with Carl accusing him of being a hypocrite and threatened to call the police, only to show him the video as proof and turning the tables. Later on, Gary bumped into Tyrone and Fiz, making out he forgot he’d seen Summer and we’re going to the police to tell the truth, surprising Gary. Elsewhere, Jodie walked into David pampering Shona, with her commenting on Daniel and making out he fancies her, with David surprising her with a box for Harper and Jodie feeling jealous about it.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a couple returning, one resident handing himself in, and another resident hiding a secret. Mondays episode picked up where we left off from last week, and with Beth still forcing them to open up and see Charlie. Darren eventually decided to let them in, which was just a ploy for them to escape, taking a car from someone who’s returned to the village (but more on that in a moment). But Charlie came to his senses and urged Darren to go back, knowing that he’ll loose him if he’s o the run, but made a deal to both seek help if either one of them was struggling. Frankie also met up with Caleb and opened up about how everything had taken its toll on Darren, followed by Charlie gathering the pair and vicky (who got the text at the salon), that he’ll hand himself into the police, which he did after an emotional goodbye and some advice from Jack. You’d think that would be the end of it. Well it wasn’t. Beth was still out for revenge and made a threat to dob in Darren Nancy and Frankie. I know she wasn’t justice for Caleb, but this was taking it too far. Meanwhile, Cleo was going back to her first day of work since having Joseph, and understandably felt guilty for being away from him. But Dodger was able to give her some advice, and she was surprised when Theresa announced the couple were going to the Bahamas, and I think Dodger secretly still has feelings for Cleo. Meanwhile, the person who’s car was stolen was Imran, who made a return to the village, whilst also getting a complaint from Gemma about the place it’s parked at. Misbah was also questioning Imran on why he’s back, revealing he’s an app designer and a marketing executive, and to hers and Ste’s shocked, his new girlfriend is none other than Ste’s son Leah. This is going to be fun to watch for sure! Tuesdays episode saw the continuation of Beth ringing the police, with Jack attempting to stop her in order to think about Oscar and Morgan, and how it would have an impact on them. Despite not calling the police, she couldn’t help but make comments about Charlie’s mum, which boiled Nancys blood, and making a remark about not caring. But soon she had a change of heart, and opened up about Jack not being there for her during her childhood and the death of her mum and adopted parents, coming to an understanding between the siblings. Frankie and Caleb managed to talk things out, eventually getting closer and with Beth and Darren all in good terms again all seemed well. But when Frankie discovered a box that belonged to Beth, there may be a new storyline where we discover what she’s hiding. Elsewhere, Leah was wanting to put on a welcome home party for her and Imran, with Vicky explaining to Misbah what their jobs were. I was quite amused when Leah made Imran sort out Jenson for “checking her out”, but after a deal with him, it may be the sign of something bad happening. Leah was also fuming about the car (which was eventually found) and also the payment for their accommodation not being sorted yet, resulting in having to temporarily stay at Misbah’s. He then soon popped the question, shocking her in the process. And Gemma was doing all she could to avoid Warren, with Cleo offering to go to the pub after some advice she gave her, and was soon hooking up with Jenson. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Frankie taking Caleb to his physio appointment, where both the doctors and herself were pleased with his efforts. They then went for ice cream, and despite his terrible bad dad jokes (which were also entertaining), he was a proper gentleman when letting her know that when she’s ready to talk about some of the things she’s been through, he won’t judge. But the moment was ruined when Beth spotted them and disapproved, with Caleb defending Frankie when admitting he doesn’t want to hold any grudges anymore. But good on Frankie for standing up to her when despite promising to keep it a secret, she threatened to tell everyone Beth’s secret. It then got Beth secretly hiding her things and Maddox tearing a strip off her. Elsewhere, Leah showed Misbah and Donny the engagement ring, with Misbah secretly uncomfortable with it all. Leah was soon playing matchmaker with Vicky and Prince, reminding her of how she’s running her own business and that she is beautiful, soon having a plan in place when she spots the two of them in Casa McQueen. Imran nearly ruined the moment when he revealed he couldn’t get anywhere to stay, but after seeing spoilers, Leah had a few tricks up her sleeve. And Myra secretly let Sebastian play on his console despite Warren not letting him when he knows he’s poorly, also berating Cleo for bringing a stranger, secretly still jealous of Theresa and Dodger when she gets an update from them. Gemma was also feeling uneasy by Jensons behaviour following their passionate encounter, mainly because of Warren. He soon used a different tactic to speak to Myra, making out that he never had a home like one at the McQueens, getting into her good books and playing with Sebastian on his console. But she may need to watch out, as Gemma found out that Jenson is a wanted criminal in Spain, and after Warren berated him for casually letting himself back into his life, his worry soon turned to Sebastian, who had a fall from his illness he had. I jus hope he’s okay.

Eastenders:

This week saw a heartbreaking set of news for a mother, an affair coming to light, and a resident moving on after the death of his horrific father. Mondays episode saw the start of the aftermath from “The Night That Changes Everything Last Week”. Denise and Jack went to the hospital where the doctor explained how her treatment would work, needing to act sooner rather than later. But with Jordan still in a bad way, Denise decided to continue to hold onto the treatment, feeling like she needed to be there for Chelsea. Understandably, Jack was secretly worried about the longer she would neglect her health. I just hope by the flashforward episode she gets the all clear. Meanwhile, Jasmine was surprised to see Josh with a large bag, revealing its to do with his friends as part of their joint birthday, but didn’t say anything in case of hurting her feelings (but surprisingly she took it rather well). Clearly he was still harbouring feelings for Oscar after their night of passion at the Albert, but even I found it entertaining when Josh found Oscar dressing up as a caveman whilst looking after Pearl and Mica. Elsewhere, Ian was released for prison, and soon revealed to Kathy who he really knocked over and the extent it could lead to, and understandably everyone was furious with him, particularly Yolande, and I learnt you wouldn’t want to get on her bad side. Luckily Max came to the defence, but let’s just say Oscar and Peter were less than impressed when he and Cindy announced the engagement, and soon he bought a new vase and an engagement ring for her to make it official. He also reassured her and Peter that his love for Cindy was real, but one person standing in the way was Priya after their moment of madness together. And good on Suki for warning her not to take the rebound root, for Avani and Nugget’s sake. Despite agreeing that it was a one off, and a major clue pointed by fans about who the pregnant woman is in the fast forward episode, things are about to get abit more tricky. Cindy also asked Gina if she’d be the maid of honour, which was what she needed following George’s drama with Eddie, where George made it clear to Nicola on how ashamed he is with her for making a deal with him before he died. Gina also made it clear to Nicola she doesn’t want nothing to do with him, but a chat with Harry (who put a smile on her face) said otherwise. And just when Harry was about to let slip he knew about the money, that was when Cindy came in. Something tells me that when the truth is revealed it won’t end well. And Ayer noticing Nicola and Gina, Elaine came to see George to get him to open up, where he revealed how he couldn’t look at Ivy the same way and the impact Eddie has had on him. Despite no sparring, George decided to challenge Mark to one, only to have him knocked out cold. Tuesdays episode saw Phil coming to the rescue and tell Mark about his brain injury. After initially refusing to go to the hospital, George then opened up to Phil about why he decided to do what he did, thinking that it was because he killed Eddie. But Phil was quick to remind him of Eddie’s personality, saying how he deserves it. Harry meanwhile was opening up to Nicola about how he said he loves Gina, and didn’t want to let what’s happening with Eddie come between them, and Gina herself was soon frustrated when she eventually finds out the truth. Later on, both George and Nicola opened up about their actions, with George mentioning what Eddie said on his deathbed when it came to being a father, and Nicola revealing the extent of the debt they are in. Something tells me it’ll be a while before this relationship is repaired. Meanwhile, Kat was intrigued by Jasmine’s hobby of jewellery making, and soon slipped in the question about her birthday, making out she doesn’t celebrate it. Josh meanwhile was with Oscar helping with the kids, and was soon called back to Jasmine, making out it was something to do with Peter, and encouraged Jasmine to celebrate her birthday with her family. But Oscar was soon pulled back to Josh to help with the kids, which was a success and soon they were reflecting on childhood after Oscar opened up about Abi and the den they used to make. Josh then opened up about the day Jasmine and him got separated, but Jasmine showed her frustration when Oscar revealed it to her. So was soon regretting her actions, knowing he was only trying to be supportive, and made the decision to have Josh at her celebrations. But Kat was in for a shock when she caught Josh and Oscar having a passionate moment, and with it being eastenders, it won’t be long before the truth comes out. Elsewhere, the Trueman/Fox clan were fuming about Ian getting legal representation, but Jack was more bothered about Denise and her treatment, opening up to Yolande about his fears for her the longer she holds the treatment. And whilst giving an update on Jordan, Denise mentioned she will have the treatment, but Chelsea was the main priority. I just hope that by the flash forward episode the treatment for the cancer will have at least showed signs that it’s working. Wednesdays episode saw preparations taking place for the twins birthday, with Kim and Yolande spoiling Josh like rotten, and getting a glimpse of Sandra. Little did they know that Josh was hiding Oscar from the previous episode, and soon Kat was confronting the pair, and revealed she was going to invite him to the skaters birthday dinner. Whilst there, and amongst the burnt cake Alfie caused, Kat revealed all. Oscar was also confiding in Penny about the situation, and soon Jasmine felt heartbroken when Oscar declined after mentioning that he thought it was more of a family thing. But before that Zoe was telling Josh about her history with Kat when finding out she was her mum not her sister, which got Josh going to the meal, where things got more awkward when Zoe convinced Oscar to come. All seemed well, and a gift from Jasmine and her expression of hie much Josh means to her soon got too much for him, and the secret about him and Oscar came out, shocking everyone. Meanwhile, with Denise leaving the hospital to get some stuff, and with Jordan saying he couldn’t feel his legs, Chelsea soon confronted Ian, but then opened up about how it was her fault following what happened on the wedding. Ian then reassured her she’s not a bad parent, and I felt he was willing to take the blame for everything. And Nicola was determined to get back into George’s good books, and soon they went to the park after making out the restaurant was closed, soon slowly taking about recent events, and how he needs to focus on Ivy. And you know you need a wake up call, when Kojo mentioned straight up he needs to move on, and I think he will! Finally, Thursdays episode was your typical scenario where a secret soon breaks out into an argument, and not ideal when it’s your own birthday. And Jasmine was definitely furious when discovering the truth about what happened, soon blaming Kat for the scenario. Oscar was then seeking advice from Max and Cindy, who convince him she’s nothing, whilst Jasmine was seeking solace in Zoe and Kat, who give her plenty of advice when it came to romance. There was a lovely moment when Jasmine called Zoe mum, which was nice to see, but the moment was ruined when Oscar came to see her, and was heartbroken when he told her he doesn’t want to continue. He then went to see Josh in the cafe, who declined his offer to see Sandra (who also gave him a good talking to after that situation) leaving Oscar completely in tatters. But that wasn’t the only thing happening. Kojo was helping George go through Eddie’s things, and wanting to put the past behind him, and made a decision about the money. Whilst it was one nicks wasn’t expecting, she knew it was his decision at the end of the day, and soon patched things up with Gina after opening up about why he was so caught up on Eddie. And Chelsea and Ian were talking about the situation with Jordan, and was soon horrified by what the doctors had to say with regards to Jordan’s ability to walk. This soon got Chelsea confronting Ian about it him comforting her was an act, also making it clear that Ian Will pay for what he did.

Lord of The Flies:

This week I watched one episode of the show based on classic novel adapted by Jack Thorne. Episode 1: Piggy saw of the boys called Piggy getting stranded and getting stung, but found the funny side of it. Piggy eventually managed to find something to eat, but came across a pig and a plane, soon finding some fresh food, but came face to face with fellow strandee Ralph who helps him find somewhere to wash and revealed it his asthma, hence why he couldn’t swim. Ralph was then talking about his history, with Piggy revealing his parents are dead and was pleased when Ralph said he would to teach him to swim and soon, they were having fun splashing in the water. Piggy then found a Conch and explained the history behind it, using it as a way to see if there’s anyone else, which after an initial bad start, it seemed to have done the trick. Two of the boys being twins called Eric and Sam were found, with Piggy and Ralph holding a meeting about what to do next, only for a choir to appear, led by jack who made a claim about Simon always fainting. Jack was soon making fun of piggy, and the decision on who would want to be chief got Ralph and Jack deciding who it’ll be, with Ralph organising a trip to find out where they are, with Piggy reminding Jack about the basic needs for survival whilst the little ones play with the wildlife. Ralph was then encouraging Piggy to carry on whilst he reminded him his of portrayal, and soon Jack found one of the adults, suggesting to put them in the sea and Piggy reluctantly agreed to help and after another suggestion to bury him, with Jack, Ralph and Simon did it a more ruthless way and Simon saying a prayer. Back on the mainland, two boys found a mudskipper not knowing one of the choirboys we’re trying to scare them, whilst Ralph was updating the group, with Piggy reminding Jack of a rule for things tense. One of the little boys then mentioned about a snake, with Ralph assuring him but claimed to have seen it with Jack saying his piece and Ralph was convincing everyone someone will come, and soon the tasks were divided. During that, Piggy was mocking the queen and singing the song, soon catching the pig, with Jack secretly scared to kill it when he found it. Soon on he was blaming Piggy for it, making out he was waiting for the right moment. Piggy was then mocking Jack about his fathers life, with Jack putting ideas into his head about Ralph turning against him eventually, and soon everyone was collecting firewood with Simon giving some advice on how to carry it, asking about the song he sung, talking about his past with him and Jack, soon singing the song. Ralph and Liggy were then observing the island, recapping the next phases of the island, and Piggy then revealed his real name is Nicolas. Jack and co were then getting more fire, using Piggy’s glasses to light it with Jack volunteering himself and the hunters to take charge of Fire and Water. Piggy was quick in trying to warn them about the rotten wood causing a huge fire spread, with Piggy resorting to using a technique used in the great fire of London. But everyone was trying to rescue the little ones, with Piggy struggling because of his asthma but he eventually came to find some of the little ones injured, trying to blow the conch. The episode ended with Ralph questioning Piggy about who’s here, soon realising the boy with the birthmark was dead as a result of the fire.

Believe Me:

This week I watched the first episode of a drama based on a horrific true story. Episode 1 took us to 6th May 2003, where we met Sarah Adams showing her baby Jack the play they were born and talking about her partner Connor, reminding him that her friends are gays when asking who they were, giving instructions on the feeding. Sarah was then hanging out with her friends whilst they talk about their love life, realising she left her phone behind. Sarah was then getting a black cab, where the taxi driver (later known to be John Worboys) was making conversation which turned weird when he offered her a glass of champagne and asked questions which made me even more comfortable, soon stopping at a place for a cigarette. Next thing you know, Sarah was waking up in a hospital needing the loo, coming to a realisation when her outfit got ruined, with the nurse making out she was drunk. Connor was then coming to pick up Sarah, revealing what happened and talked to the police, making it clear that she didn’t sleep with someone else and revealed someone took her to the hospital by the taxi driver, which was then followed by Sarah going for an examination to get some samples which was quite hard to watch. The police were then talking through a Achieving Best Evidence interview, and Sarah mentioned about the cocaine to shut up his friends with Connor coming in for a statement, asking certain questions about drugs and how she is on a night out. Connor was then coming back with Sarah convinced she needed to find him, with Connor questioning Sarah’s version of events, which annoyed her understandably. She was then going to a health clinic where she’s tested for STIs and a called officer Bolitho, only to find the case was moved by DC Paul Stephens when asking about it. Sarah then met the guy who found her called Billy, which was the place she used to live. A flashback then saw Billy finding her and the taxi driver making out she was like it, and t Billy was suspecting something wasn’t right and was ordered to go home, offering his services to help. Sarah was then trying to call Paul Stephens with no luck, and 12th may 2003 saw Stephens and King visiting her and mentioned about the taxi driver and Billy, soon spotting the place it happened. Sarah was then doing a Achieving Best Evidence Interview, with the office thinking it was unusual because of her behaviour, and she hit back that whether she showed emotion or not, it wouldn’t make a difference. But soon Sarah was slowly losing her temper with Connor, asking questions to understand what happened, which resulted in her going to the place where the taxi driver took her, and an attempt of having a cigarette caused a flashback, soon thinking to talk about getting pictures of the taxi drivers. Connor was then once again questioning Sarah again which cashed more strain, resulting in moving out with Jack. And whilst doing the washing, Sarah was trying to cheer up jack, soon getting a knock at the door by Frankie to report him on the taxi driver who revealed he paid them, and also Sarah gave away what he said. It then got Sarah reporting about Frankie and Mike to Stephen, upsetting her further when they denied it. 3rd June 2003 was when the results came, where everything was found negative and 3rd September that same year saw Stephens give her the news, resulting in the case being closed down but denied her clothing. The episode ended with the taxi driver collecting next victim whilst Stephens give his closing statement.

Tip Toe:

This week I watched the first episode of the drama written by Russel T Davies. Episode 1 took us to Calico Road in Manchester seeing horrific scenes, with Clive and his wife furious with Leo being caught in the crossfire. 10 days earlier saw Leo in an awkward situation, making out he was taking out a bin, and soon he was making conversation with Clive’s son George, soon suggesting to ask Marie to ring, who mentions what Bridget from next door really saw, teasing him for it. Leo was then recapping the situation where his one night stand Eddie stole his laptop, calling his friend Stephanie about it, mocked by George’s brother Saul, with Clive telling him to behave in front of Leo and showed signs of being uncomfortable around George. Steph was then coming over and gossiping about Clive and Marie, explaining what happened, and soon she was updating him on Curtis and also about who Clive slept with, explaining how marriage in crisis works, soon talking about a man who made out he’s a young kid who self identifies, joking with him that it’s his fault. Leo was then on his way to work to Spit & Polish, gossiping to his staff about what happened and taking a liking to Clive’s oldest son. Leo was then recapping to Hanna about about the sick line, with regular Melba coming in and Zee bringing in Fredrico for an interview, and a power cut got him nervous. Zee was then reminding Leo of Hanna’s pronouns, with Zee also reminding him of her transition, and Fredrico using the sick line as a test. Judy was the showing CCTV footage of Zee sleeping in a tiny space, where she revealed of a threat from her flat mates because of her identity, with Leo resorting to get her stuff from the old flat, and Leo being surprised by her living arrangements. Leo then caused a distraction when they wake up, with Judy getting a gun surprising him and love seeing the look on their faces. Soon Leo was then coming home, only for Clive to come in for the key, alarm and coat but not the other way around. Back at the bar, drag queen Regime was then asking Leo to swap shifts due to someone who she teaches, soon heading off, but not before serving Melba on her birthday, making the most of it, ending the night to see a comedian, with Melba speaking out. Soon the two were then talking about Leo’s ex Harry, mentioning their HIV tests, with Melba wanting to live in Hope and professing her feelings for Leo. Melba was also reminding Leo that what happened in 1994 is coming back and also mentioned how she tiptoes into certain situations, with Leo wanting someone to take over, with Melba then giving him some home truths about what people say and how far it’ll go. Soon Leo heading home to find a key safe package from Clive, and the next day Leo getting ready for the day, only to find Clive in his house to sort a key safe, mocking him about his lack of clothes. Leo was them checking the security, with Clive mocking him about the bar, with Leo explaining how many people it takes to work the bar, declining Clive’s offer and asking about Curtis. Leo was then offended by a comment Clive made about him and Curtis, going into a rant about pronouns which caused friction, but he soon changed his mind about the work at the bar, which he did a shift at later on, only to come home and notice a glass and his medicines being moved, and overhearing Marie and Clive arguing. This got Clive sleeping downstairs whilst watching horrific videos, whilst everyone was having “pleasurable” secrets. The episode then ended with George and Leo accidentally matching with each other on a dating app, and the rest of the series looks exciting to watch!

This week I watched two films that were in my watch list. These were Puss In Boots: The Last Wish, and Saturday Night, and for different reasons I enjoyed both of them. I’ll be adding those films into my upcoming blogs of films I saw this year, so do keep an eye out for it. But what I will say was there they were definitely needed after the week I had.

Personal:

Exercise:

This weeks exercise was downgraded due to my fatigue and my female problems (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), but I still managed to get plenty in. These included going for a walk, going to my usual gym session and doing some yoga. I also got a chance to go on the exercise bike once where the timing of when I got to 10k was 13mins 36secs. I did go over slightly, but next week I’m getting my haircut where it’s walkable. So I may get more of my steps in.

Cooking:

This week I cooked pork shoulder steaks. This was a challenging one by myself, as some of them needed longer to cook than others. But I’m glad I got them done, and they tasted delicious as well! But I am looking forward to cooking with my Nan again, and I think I have an idea of what I want to do next week!

Book:

This week I finished reading the second novel of a fantasy story called “Poison Tides” by The Wanted singer Jay McGuinness. This was a brilliant read, and despite taking me a while to get into it, it left me on a twist which got me wondering which girl the main character loves the most. But a thrilling read, and fingers crossed he’ll release a third novel to find the answer, and with Newark Book Festival approaching, I can’t wait to see how he came up with the ideas and what the plans are for future books along with his amazing career in the west end!

Surveys:

This week like last week I only managed to do some surveys at the end of the week. But with my favourite sporting event happening this week this hobby really complimented me ash other well. And I got a lot done, which was important.

Darts:

This week I had one darts match. I was going to have 2 but because of my fatigue I only had my energy for 1, where I had finished on double 1 after 14 bust scores and 28 missed match darts. But the main thing was I persevered and got it done, which definitely tested my patience.

World Cup of Darts:

This week I watched the World Cup of my favourite sport held in Frankfurt. This was a sport definitely needed for me self care wise, and whilst I had things to do, not only did it allow me to multitask, but it got me to have a break from the bigger things I would normally do that week. There was lots of entertaining moments, which include Hong Kong and Motomu Sakai from Japan Japan making their mark, and new countries making their debut, which were Mongolia, Trinidad and Tobago (who made history by winning a first match in the game), and Gibraltar (who definitely made their presence known). But ultimately England took home the title, beating the Netherlands 10-5, and with them being the top 4 players, it was going to be tough. Those few days were definitely needed self-care wise, and I was definitely entertained. I just can't wait for the Matchplay in July in Blackpool which is the next tournament, but ultimately I'm happy England took the title.

The Assembly:

This week I watched the first two episodes of the show where it was a unique interview where anything is asked. The first episode was with actor Stephen Fry, and he got asked plenty of questions. Cameron was asking about Stephens mental well-being, whilst Tomislav asked about Celine Dion, finding a husband and a sexual question which was mentioned on Gogglebox. Nichola asked the order he washes his body parts and how much he spent on drugs, with Stephen talking about why some people do it, Harry asked for tips about how to help his family with bipolar, using a weather analogy to explain it. Luka was then performing a poem which was one of Stephens favourites and his acting skills were incredible, and Jacob was listing the adverts he did along with asking about why he was a Jew despite claiming to be an atheist. Ben asked how he felt about what Paul McCartny said, which was funny, followed by a story on Saturday Live with Hugh Laurie and hypnotism, and Claire asked for advice on people who hate age gap relationships. Jynne wondered who his favourite wrestler was, and Huwey asked about if he’s a humanist. The house band ended the interview with a brilliant song “I Wish” which had me in tears (but in a positive way). They also had former Nicola Sturgeon, which was entertaining but white emotional. Mikey was asking Nicola about her divorce, where she explained it, followed by asking about a rendezvous question, where she gave a typical  “politician answer”. Julice asked who her least favourite political is, and Tikara asked what she does when she’s sad. Joseph was asking about her arrest, where she explained her process in Scotland, Kieron, who did a brilliant Scottish accent, asked about Buckfest, soon revealing she’s never had a deep fried mars bar. Kate was asking why she thought about fostering, where she revealed of her miscarriage and her work with people in care. Marcus (who Nicola was scared of what he had to say but in a good way) performed a poem about growing up in foster care and after abit of a stumble, got through it that had everyone emotional. Jamal was asking who her inspiration learnt when she was younger, with Caroline making a comment that was entertaining, also talking about Alex Salmonds funeral. Adam asked about Sean Connery and her lesson in deepening her voice, and Elijah asked about a different hairstyle, where she revealed it’ll be linked leaving politics and complimenting on Mrs doubtfire. Finally, Cameron was asking about what people would say to her after the miscarriage, where she gave an emotional answer and he offered a hug in the process, and Shaun asked her what she would say to her younger self. The house band then played Nicolas favourite songs, led by Kieron and encouraged by Julice (as he was abit nervous), and one of them giving her a mug with his face on it.

Celebrity Gogglebox:

This week I watched another episode of the show where I watched celebrities watch tv, but not before I got an insight as to what they got up to that week. Vogue and Joanna talking about when to make the bed, and Julian was telling a funny story to Nigel about what his husband said during the warm weather. Matt was asking Harry about his go to item for shopping, and Jordan and Perri were talking about holidays. Linda was explaining to Rylan who gets the life insurance (which I found amusing), and Sara telling Clare about the time she banged he’d head and felt pregnant. Finally, The Buckley's talking about how they eat snacks, and I’m in agreement with how you need to ask before you take a snack. They also reacted to some of the biggest moments on the boxset. “Love Island” saw Ellie and Samraj going on a date with bombshells Priya and Kavan (Aidan’s Brother), and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” saw Jamie from Wales, with Jeremy giving his thoughts on an answer confusing the Goggleboxers. “This Morning” talked about saving the strippers, and “Bake Off: The Professionals” saw the competitors make a landmark out of biscuits, with one of them resembling “The Louvre” not going to plan. “Ladies First” saw owner of Guinness Damien hire female creative director Alex Fox, with a head injury transporting him to a different world, and the “BBC News” saw a petition being released about a maths paper being difficult. Finally, “Celebrity Bridge of Lies” seeing Louisa Lytton take part in the category musicals, where if I was on it with this topic, I think I would do pretty well!

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

One of the I challenges I had this week was having to take a step back darts wise because of the fatigue I had last week. Not ideal I know, but I know I needed to full reset before going back to the oche. Another challenge I faced was coming on my time of the month, which didn’t help my low mood. But by the time of posting this, I’ve managed to get over the worst of it. Another thing that happened that gave me abit of a wobble was that I had abit of overstimulation due to the bus times changing. I didn’t know about it until that day, where it makes a detour to the school I used to go to, nearly making me late for my “proper job”. But thankfully one of my colleagues calmed me down and gave me some chocolate to cheer me up (and who doesn’t love chocolate), and I also confided in another one about it. I know my “proper job” is something I don’t want long term (as I am still looking for flexible incomes for my acting career) but at least I have people who understand what happens when things go wrong.

What Have I Learnt This Week? It’s important to have other things both in and out of the creative industry, and watching my favourite sport this week was one of them!

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
