Father Day Meal, Iconic Hedgehog & More Content Posting!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog, and my final weekly highlights before I take a break to enjoy the Summer Holidays. This addition saw me going to a delicious place for Father’s Day, watching a film starring the iconic hedgehog faster than the speed of sound, and posting some content that’s been in the edit for a while. So without further ado, for the final time before I take a break, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 15th Jun 2026:

Professional:

Content Filming:

This week I filmed some more content for my social media. This will be one of the three final videos before the first half of 2026 ends, and they’re currently in the edit as we speak. But my aim for the rest of the year is to make a Miranda Hart style video every month to show my consistency, which so far is working. I just can’t wait for you all to see them!

Content Posting:

I also posted a video that was well overdo, which was about living with a fangirl of my favourite show. Like with the “Living With A Squid Game Fangirl”, this was inspired by the YouTuber Daz Black, and it is kind of like a parody. Click the link below to view the whole sketch, and let me know if you have come across fans like this either for XO, Kitty or another show they’re obsessed with!

Applying for Jobs:

This week I applied for more acting jobs. So far I’ve managed to keep up to date with my applications, and even got a couple of offers for tapes and some jobs in London and Liverpool (which would be ideal as I’m going soon to see some family). There were a couple of setbacks (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), but ultimately I’m pleased by the progress I made.

Casting Directors:

This week I made some notes on what to say next to casting directors in August. With new series to watch, I know that is a key part to mention, as it shows that I looked at their work and did my research. Now the next step in July is to get them drafted (one week for theatre, one for assistants in tv, one for associates and one for the main casting directors) and then get them sent in August.

Acting Class:

This week we continued to look at scenes to film next week. But not before we did a few improv games to get us going, which really made me tickle my funny bone. The scene work itself was brilliant, and my friend referenced a show that had a theme to the scene, which was brilliant. Now all I need to do is work out my objectives and I’m hoping it’ll be enough to film!

Act On This:

This week I listened to another Act On This podcast with comedy casting director Emma Garrett. This was a very interesting session, where she talked about her route, what she sees, and a key bit of information when going into the audition room for a comedy scene, which was a nice bit of reassurance for me. Now what I need to do is make sure I have what I need to send off in august (the time where I usually do a follow up on emails to casting directors and other creatives) and fingers crossed something magical may happen!

Coronation Street:

This week I caught up on more of the drama set in Weatherfield. Some of these are an hour long because of the football, so I’ll separate the hour long ones as if they were double episodes. 10th June (directed be Kev Boyle), saw Gary and Sarah talking about Tyrone coming clean, and we’re soon panicking about their next steps with Sarah suggesting something. Kit was then coming in and asking her what’s happening, making out it’s linking to the children and made out she can talk to whoever, and Kit was then playfully teasing Sarah about his ex. Todd was then ringing Summer to ask when she’ll be released, relieved Tyrone told the truth, and Sean made Sarah jump whilst they chatted, with Kirk asking what the deal was and Sean talking about a his date. After Sarah got a text about the Platts family meal (where Shona and David talking about the World Cup, with Jodie suggesting a homemade pizza), Gary made a comment about how he’s been through it before, whilst Fiz was updating Tyrone about what the factory lot said when he came to tell the truth, with Kirk giving his suspicions and also referencing Carl’s heritage. Tyrone then came in and getting the wrong end of the stick when it came to the World Cup, with Kit being cool and Todd still holding a grudge, giving his thoughts. At the salon, Sean was gossiping to Maria about what Kirk said, soon asking him about Sarah and felt insecure when he mentioned Gary and opened up about his behaviour with recent events. Later on, Tyrone was then gossiping to Fiz about what happened in the Rovers, with Fiz reassuring him and asking if it were Ruby in that situation. Gary also used a police analogy when Kit was goading him, getting him to see other people who may have a motive. Soon, the Platts were having dinner whilst Jodie was talking about Daniel and Sarah having a point scoring match with David about the pizza and Summer. Whilst that was going on, Kit and Gary were confronting each other, adamant Gary did it, and a flashback seeing Gary looking over Theo with a tool (which was the same one he used to smash the van). Elsewhere, Roy (the real one) was checking in on Sam and his exams, and was curious by a comment being made. Will was then getting a message whilst Ben was checking in on him and wishing him luck his exams, questioning Sam. Whilst waiting for the bus, Will was telling Hope about his friend Lee to meet up, which got suspicious but was wanting gossip with Bethany meeting them to talk about exams. Megan then ended up meeting Will, realising she was Lee, whilst Ben finds Sam in Victoria gardens, asking about the exam and the “wasp”, getting overwhelmed, followed by Megan begging Will not to testify which he ignored. It was entertaining on how Rita was wanting to keep a newspaper to finish an article, with Gary, Kirk and Ben then talking about their last day of school whilst debating on the World Cup, followed by Ben querying Kit about Sam. The first half of 12th saw Chesney questioning Fiz about Tyrone changing his statement, with Maria coming in and wanting to go to dinner, feeling uncomfortable when she spots Sarah. Fiz and Tyrone were then opening up about what their colleagues said, suggesting on needing some alone time, whilst Sarah was sneakily running through Kits laptop, only for Kit to come home to question her behaviour, asking if it’s linking to the assault and getting to look into it again with Lisa leading their murder investigation, soon overhearing him talking about Gary. Sarah then reported back to Gary about what Kit said, only for Gary to get a call from Maria about their meal, confiding in Shona of her relationship. Elsewhere, Debbie was going to the bistro to reveal that the ladies of weatherfield have booked her to go to Spain. But she was confiding in Carl about how the dementia might affect it and debating whether to go or not, showing her love to Carl who revealed he may be staying permanently. It then resulted in Debbie making a decision, but encouraged everyone else to go in fear of her dementia playing up and spoiling their fun, but accepted the decision anyway. Meanwhile, Toyah was checking in on Nick about Sam, who was secretly still at school, and soon Chesney was also concerned for him when he spots “Roy”, who mocked him on his headphones, targeting the Rovers. Sam then found Will in the Rovers, who got suspicious of his behaviour but made out it was something Leanne wanted from Eva. He was then watching Will playing video games, with “Roy” making out it’s his practice to kill him, which got him locking himself in the cafe. It then got Leanne calling Nick, where both the real Roy and fake Roy came at the same time, with fake Roy urging him to kill him. Thankfully, Nina came in with the sore keys, only to find Roy injured due to Sam habit hallucinations. The second part of 12th took us to the next day, with David suggesting a group chat to Roy when talking about the schedule, whilst also asking Kit about Sarah’s behaviour. But Nick was keeping himself occupied whilst Nina bumps into a police officer looking for Sam. The Platts then gathered to discuss Sam and his danger, with the officer updating Kit and Lisa with nothing to report. But if anyone was able to get through to Sam, it was Carla, as she managed to find him in the precinct, calling Nick whilst calming him down. At the cafe, Roy came  back with Nina’s orders to rest, but felt uneasy about if he were to see Sam again, working out why he was visualising him, with Nina giving her thoughts on why it’s happening. Back at the precinct, Carla was calming him down and reassured him about Roy, but got startled about her phone. Carla was then checking in on if he took something, with Nick eventually finding him and Carla revealing he’s in psychosis following her experience. Sam eventually calmed down whilst David rang Toyah, but after tipping his hot chocolate away thinking it’s poison, he opened up about “Roy”, with Nick reminding Sam of Carla’s experience, but it was no good. Nick then suggested in going home, promising to not het him locked up, but it was only a way to take him to the hospital knowing it’s the only way to get the help he needed. With the murder case, Todd was grilling Kit and Lisa about Summer (who was back from prison), suggesting to go with instincts, whilst Gary giving Maria a treat as an apology at the salon, with Maria still adamant something is going on, only for Kit and Lisa to come in for another statement. Maria then gave an update on Sam, also telling Gary she stuck to the story, whilst in the Rovers, Summer was worried about if anyone thinks she still did it, with Todd reassuring her. Meanwhile, Sally, Christina and Glenda were discussing about Debbie, who was adamant on staying whilst also chatting about Sam, and Roy overheard them and encouraged by Nina to search for him (which he did), but followed by the girls deciding not to go on holiday. Ronnie was then talking about the holiday, but suggested to go away and it only got her questioning her life with her symptoms going. It then had Ronnie gathering Sally, Glenda and Christina in the Rovers and suggesting something else “spontaneous”.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a child having a relapse of a condition, two residents revealing their feelings for each other, and a teenager reaching breaking point. Mondays episode saw warren anxiously waiting for the results of Sebastian who was admitted to hospital. And after Misbah revealed some abnormality within his blood, it was then revealed his leukemia came back, and was needing a bone marrow transplant. But he had other things to worry about, and that was in the form of Jenson, who made it clear on his feelings despite revealing about him and Mercedes. Jenson was soon roped into Gemma’s helped when she revealed about the business Froggy left her, soon wanting out when the guys were ganging up on him. And just as he was about to leave, Warren practically begged him to see if he was a bone marrow match for Sebastian. Meanwhile, Frankie was wanting to get closer to Caleb, but soon pushed her away, thinking that Beth had something to say, working out if the baby in the picture was Maddox and running away from a relationship. Caleb then opened up to Jonah (who came back from Germany) about his situation, and Jonah definitely gave a family friendly way of talking about “the birds and the bees” and soon the couple were back on track. Jonah however may have questions to answer after having some “quality time” with Beth when she finds the box. It was also the last exams for Dee Dee, Ant and Kathleen-Angel, but it didn’t take long for Dee Dee to mock her about Theresa and Dodger, and Maddox was joining them for celebratory burgers curtesy of Tony. Diane would obviously want her children to be happy, but Dee Dee didn’t see it that way, and soon she went off to score again. And Leah was trying to get her matchmaking skills up and running, where both Prince and Vicky opened up on their struggles and why they’re not together yet, with Leah making notes on it. And after having a night out in The Loft, Leah soon revealed her plans for a podcast linking to Prince and Vicky, explaining how it can help with a modelling contract. Tuesdays episode saw Vicky suffering from a hangover after her night out with Prince, Leah and Imran, and suddenly declined his offer of a date. But she soon opened up to Leah about the affects of the jabs she’s been having, loosing confidence in herself. But Leah managed to help out to not only get her podcast idea going, but to help Vicky be more confident in herself to go out with Prince. Meanwhile, Jonah questioned Beth on her bags and the passports, where she admitted she was scared that “she will be after her” if Frankie said something (which led me to a theory that she’s either in trouble with someone, or a suggestion in the comments on social media got me wondering), but he distracted himself by having a day with Tony, Darren and Jack in preparation for the football, soon asking Darren about Frankie and the check in with anything to make sure nothing has been said. And I can only imagine Beth’s unease when Jonah (having slightly one too many) brought Darren and Jack home. Elsewhere, Warren was explaining to Sebastian what will happen when Jenson does the test to see if he’s a match, and the pair bonded over a music they used to listen to. But Jenson was soon distracted by Gemma, who revealed that she knew more about his background after he originally thought she was bluffing, but turned it around after being convinced she hasn’t been honest with her. And after finding out he was a match, Gemma admitted that she is still doing her line of work THROUGH the salon, which shocked even me, and recruited Jenson to join her. It seemed he didn’t have much choice after being blackmailed again, but with Donny officially back on the force, she may need to watch out.

Eastenders:

This week saw one resident starting treatment, her two children trying to gain support from someone who may have an ulterior motive, and one resident setting her plan in motion to try and break up a well known couple. Mondays episode saw Denise still feeling the affects of her cancer diagnosis, and the calls from the hospital didn’t help. Jack was begging her to seek the treatment, but had to resort to telling Phil on the hood that he could make her see sense. This got him encouraging her to go for it, for Raymond’s sake and also reminded her of Lexi losing Lola, which did no good. But she got distracted by Howie and Kim’s news, which Chelsea was pleased for knowing that Jordan is in safe hands and that the family need abit of good news. This got them going to the Vic, with Kim making a speech that got Denise emotional. When Phil and Jack walked in, Chelsea could sense that something was wrong, and soon made the announcement of her diagnosis, but was ready to face the treatment. Elsewhere, Oscar had gotten himself in a pickle when it was revealed a former fling of his had an STI (with Louie asking what it was), and had to break the news to Josh and Jasmine, still feeling the friction between the pair. And whilst Oscar was having his test, Jasmine definitely made it clear on how she felt about the revelation, straining the siblings even more. Penny was also preparing for her appointment, with Lauren reminding her of the anomaly scans, which Penny didn’t want knowing it would jeopardise the good place she’s in with Vinny. Speaking of Vinny, he managed to get out of the adoption meeting with Suki to come to the appointment with Penny, and was surprised when she wanted to head straight to the birthing plan and not the anomaly, which got him questioning their relationship. And Bea was able to get into Big Mo’s good books after getting some boxes to move into a spare room from Fat Elvis, and revealed to Billy and Honey about moving in with her. But after seeing spoilers, something tells me that she’ll be meddling in their relationship again, and I still want to know why. Tuesdays episode saw the Trueman/Fox family prepare for Denise to start her treatment, which would be the next day due to the severity of it. But Denise made sure that everyone did their job, finding the humour in giving out chores to put on the family group chat. And I was quite surprised when Max showed up, but he knew he had to support jack (and I did kind of forget they were brothers), and Phil came round to show his support and offered to help when he could, watching football with him and the lads. But Diane went to Kim’s house to reveal her fears, and questioned if going is the best idea knowing the side affects. But I must say kudos to Tameka Epsom and Diane Parish for the powerful performance, showing how a cancer diagnosis and treatment can not only affect the person with it, but the family around them. Kim, being the big sister she is, made it clear Denise needed to do it if she wants to live, and before she went, Libby came to show her support. But when she left, Chelsea had an argument with her, revealing how Jordan and Denise were playing on her mind, but soon went to reveal on Gray’s birthday card to Jordan that had money that would be ideal in their situation, and how she also got contacted by his nan Sheila. But Libby decided to take the card, and after seeing spoilers, something tells me that things may get sticky. I also got a glimpse of how tough the treatment will be for Denise, as the doctor explained what will happen with regards to her immune system and common symptoms, and with it reportedly being extended into 2027, it’s definitely going to be a long journey ahead. Meanwhile, Josh was trying to encourage Jasmine to show Yolande and the family support at this time, but there was clearly still tension between the twins and Oscar, and him revealing to Peter he’s negative for chlamydia won’t put things right immediately. And Vinny explained that he wanted the anomaly scan to ask how it’ll help with the birthing plan, with Penny apologising and making out it was linked with the news of Denise, with Vinny soon asking her to move in with him… Wednesdays episode saw Denzel reassuring Kim that Denise will fight the disease, followed by Chelsea visit Jordan once again, with Libby still hiding the fact she still has the card with Sheila’s details. But her calling her was interrupted by Jack, who told the girls that Denise wanted to see them both after getting tested to see if they were a match. Despite feeling some of the affects already, Denise was still her sassy self, who ordered Chelsea to get some sleep and reminding Libby that she’s is not as strong as she makes out to be. At the Vic, Chelsea pondered about life and wondered if she wanted more out of it, with Libby reassuring her she’s doing a good job, and soon chatted about their love lives. But q that lovely moment was ruined when after making out she got a text from her ex Darren, Chelsea found out about Sheila, reminding Libby that Gray was evil, and that she didn’t want anything to do with them. But that soon changed after confiding in Eve (who revealed of her experience similar to Chelsea), and decided to call Sheila after Libby also mentioned show she may not be like Gray. Things didn’t look good for Ian when trying to get Johnny to look at the breathalyser when he had numerous calls to take, and soon ended up firing him, a mistake I feel could cost him. Meanwhile, Billy and Honey were going on their first date since Honeys accident, and declined Alfie’s offer to watch the football with him. But Billy got into panic mode when Alfie was trying to be helpful when talking about the “consummating” part after talking about his experience, whilst Nicola told Honey to make him want her. And whilst the meal was nice, it didn’t end well when Billy mentioned his plans for the evening, with Honey confiding her problems in Bea. After seeing spoilers, I know this will be the start of a wedge between Billy and Honey. Elsewhere, Penny was worried about how to break the news to Gina about moving in with Vinny, and soon he roped harry into the plan, and having help for Kojo as to what he was trying to say. This then got a darts game going where after Kojo cheated slightly, they then told Gina their offer. But she soon declined when mentioning about the rent to Penny, little did they know that she already knew about it. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Chelsea and Libby get a plan going to talk to Sheila to help with Jordan, where they may at Knight Fusion and made out that Jordan is doing a family tree. Sheila then went into talking about Gray and the last time she saw him, knowing that his behaviour wasn’t acceptable, and that she wanted to help when Chelsea mentioned Jordan’s situation. But when the subject of seeing him came, she denied her offer for the money in fear of an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Ian was trying to get into Kathy’s good books by lending him some money to a lawyer called “Mr Get It” to help with his case, but it was clear he was more bothered about making the best story regardless of the facts, whilst Chelsea was feeling Jordan’s pain when he admitted he wanted to go home.  It Kim gave her good advice to use her name as a Fox for good, and whilst Libby was seeing Denise (who was feeling the affects of the chemo already), Chelsea went back to Sheila and accepted the money and for her to see him. I just wonder if Sheila felt relieved because she gets to see her family, or if she does have an ulterior motive. Hmm… elsewhere, both Penny and Vinny and Gina and Harry were each preparing to tell their news, and at the Albert, it was quite funny to realise they were each okay with it, knowing it’s a fresh start for all of them. But with Penny’s secret looming over, I just wonder when it’ll come out. Meanwhile, Alfie was in the mood where he was disappointed with Billy for getting miscommunication between him and Honey after their date night, and Honey was less than impressed when he mentioned about going to the wholesalers which was not really romantic. And after he told her to mind her own business, Bea was hot on her tail to meddle between him and Honey, telling her a story in the Albert about her friend who had the menopause, and used what Billy said to do her next scheme which I feel was cause more drama between the pair.

Lord of The Flies:

This week I watched another episode of the classic novel adapted by Jack Thorne. The second episode “Jack”, saw the young boy aiming to catch a pig, whilst having a flashback of him seeing everyone’s family’s waving them off and him not seeing them. It was then interrupted by Simon, with another flashback seeing Jack telling Simon to not be afraid of turbulence which led to the crash (with Jack not being scared) whilst a chase for the big heads in. Back on the mainland, Piggy was telling the camp a story with Jack wanting a drink, with Ralph and Simon soon planning shelter, explaining a plan and being sarcastic about it, soon getting him to join Jack for a swim, with Maurice confirming that Jack won. Jack was still wanting to catch the pig, and was adamant to Ralph they will catch something, with Ralph confirming the Little ones fears. Simon also reminded Jack of the beast and the reality of fear, and feeling berated by Jack for his Hunting skills. Soon Piggy joined inC thinking it was a meeting, and mentioned about the toilet situation which didn’t work. Jack then brought in a new tool where he secretly feared something, soon spotting debris from the plane, with two other boys heading over. But the plan to catch it didn’t go well, as he was nearly falling which he overheard the other boys talking about, making out it’s too far, and was having to have a helping hand by one of them when he has a panicky moment which he appreciated but wanted to keep it quiet. The fire was then being made with Jack reflecting on things, seeing the pigs and how they behave in the sun, getting Maurice to use the navigation skills with Jack putting a plan in place. Soon Simon was them spotting Jack, mocking him for “painting his face”, claiming it was for the pig raid and soon mocked Simon. Jack was also quick in spotting Simon’s flint used to cut fruit, with Jack claiming he takes things seriously and told a story of his father, also thinking that the island is a tear. But Simon knew that Jacks father is not coming, revealing how he may be like his and that it’s not a test, and Jack then went onto revealing he is he thought the island is a test, changing scared to worried, with a lovely moment leading to Simon sorting Jacks face. Everyone was then resting for the night, with Jack feeling restless in the morning, using a rock to draw a pig, followed by Ralph calling the meeting which wasn’t being taken seriously when the rules got out of place, with Ralph taking over and opening up to avoid fear. it was then Jacks turn on the conch, only for him berating the little ones, with one of them saying his piece, and a boy called Percival shows his fear which turned into a madhouse, but Jack got a note from him about the “problem” coming from the sea. But pretty soon Everyone was getting ready for the hunt, with Jack confirming to Maurice he trusts him, and the pig was found and eventually got slaughtered, which left most of them in shock but Roger complimenting on his skills. Everyone was then adjusting the pig (cutting its head off), soon finding a suitcase with some stuff which include Simon’s diary with Jack coming go a defence, soon finding another case which had clothes, with Jack and the hunters coming back to see a ship, heading to the fire to get the signal going, but it was too late as Simon confirmed it. It then got Ralph berating Jack for leaving the fire for too long and reminding him of the other responsibilities, with even his hunters agreeing with Ralph. Piggy also made a point whilst Jack berated him for the ship missing them, deciding to form a new camp, secretly breaking down after what happened. Piggy and Ralph were then reflecting on things and how they miss the grownups, encouraging Ralph to keep going after meeting people like Jack, who’s convinced he’ll be next and Ralph promised to protect him. Whilst that was going on, Jacks fellow hunters found him and built shelter for their camp whilst Simon finds an adult with the “beast”, and the episode ended with Jack looking in Simon’s diary

Believe Me:

This week I watched another episode of the drama based on a horrific true story. Episode 2 took us to the 16th July 2007, where we saw another girl waiting for a ride home with her boyfriend. (who’s abit high). Soon she was waiting for a bus, declining Worboys offer before he made out he also lived in “East Sheen”, giving her instructions about cigarettes in the taxi. Worboys was then telling a story which got him asking questions that were uncomfortable, using the casino quote which he used to target Sarah, and the next day saw the girl talking to it about her friend, and how he mentioned that she took a shot of vodka, feeling like she had to, but then got asked about if he did anything, which she declined stating she would know physically. Her friend then reminded her that she didn’t have anything to drink, sensing that there was something not right, making out his name was Paul and gave the details (which could’ve been crucial). Meanwhile, Sarah was coming to work and feeling startled, opening up about the aftermath of her assault, followed by going to see Jack, asking Connor about what he did at nursery, staying for dinner and having auntie Ash (Connor’s sister) at home. It was nice that Ash was pleased with the arrangement, with Sarah opening up about her assault, and a comment from Connor got her leaving, still not being believed, making out to Jack she’s okay and dancing with him. 25th July 2007 saw another girl Laila meet with her friends Faye and Lydia, but soon lost them and getting a call from them. She was then getting in Worboys taxi, using his trick again to get her to drink the champagne and forcing her to have it. She then woke up the next day to find blood on her bed, confiding in friend of her whereabouts, remembering what he did, with her friend encouraging her to go to the police. 4pm that same day got her friend ringing 999 by the campus manager Vivian, and 8:30pm that day saw the police come in, reminding them on the footage and asked about it, explaining why he was there. And Laila then broke down bless her, talking about the affect of the tablet. Fast forward to 11pm, where Laila met PC Stephanie Ellis, making another statement and still not being believed, soon being taken to a centre for samples at 1:30am the next day, but also got warned that the samples may not be in her system due to the time span. 3am was where Laila was given another interview and moved to a different DC as Ellis was only a liaison officer. 27th July 2007 got Worboys getting interviewed making the story, demising the sexual contact and alcohol, and making up a different story when seeing the CCTV footage, asking if Laila kissed him, with Laila giving another interview and mentioned the cash point, and the officers mentioning her nail varnish which was an odd thing to ask. An officer was then mentioning to his boss about the next stages, waiting for the results, whilst Laila was heading home to organise a meal, with her mum suspecting her suspicious behaviour and whilst helping her sister, and her father made out it was due to exams. Worboys was then making a statement, fabricating the story, with his partner coming to him and believing his story. Some time later, Sarah was on the phone to Frankie about a date she’s got, with Frankie making a funny about “the next step” and the date itself going well. But even asking for a kiss got her terrified of taking the next step, and 29th October 2007 witnessed Laila go to the station to find out the tests came back negative, reminding her of the drug and how it doesn’t match up. Ellis then revealed that Worboys came in for an interview with no evidence of her leaving the club, revealing that the CPS haven’t got any charges, and another question got Laila got her fuming. 6th February 2008 witnessed Worboys bringing another person called Sadie home, reporting it, which for the people at the sexual Offences Cold Case Review Team going over what happened, revealing he’s been arrested, and what he said went back on previous cases. The team were then going down to west London police for DNA, making out Worboys was house hunting, which revealed to be the wrong person. The episode ended with Worboys being back on the street, turning off his taxi cab.

Tip Toe:

This week I watched more of the show written by Russell T Davies. Episode 2 saw the start of it seeing George finding leo in a dangerous position. 6 days earlier got Leo getting ready for work, with George brushing him off and pointing out to a place where he parks, getting into an awkward position with Clive. Clive then awkwardly asked Leo about the football to make conversation, making it to the bar and explained the history of his house and his bar, making a joke out of it, also revealing that he’s planning to buy Curtis out of it. Leo is as then explaining the problem, and a comment from the previous company got Leo wondering if it’s a racist comment, with Clive explaining a story, then explaining his situation whilst complaining about his work ethic, with Judy coming in early. Leo then reported to Judy about him and George, with a flashback revealing George blocked him, with Judy getting an opinion from Zee about the situation, wondering how they know more about him and revealed of Clive’s affair, and making a Gogglebox joke, only for him realising he heard him. Zee was then introducing herself, with Clive asking a question that got her and Hanna wondering, with Clive giving Leo an update, offering Saul an offer to help, then questioning Leo on how he knew about his sons, breaking the mood with a disco for a short moment. Leo was then taking his van and finding a card, soon rushing home to get on the phone to Steph, overhearing Clive from next door and getting suspicions that someone was in his house. Leo and Steph were then visiting his ex Curtis and his partner Maggie, breaking the ice by talking about his fling with Steph talking about “the dark ages”, with Maggie chipping in about doing some good, and Curtis and Maggie revealed about fostering, making Leo feel uncomfortable and questioned why he never wanted kids with him. I’m the kitchen, Leo was giving advice to Curtis about children and questioned him further on why he changed and asked if Curtis had been to the house, but soon brushed it off and broke down. On the way home, Leo and Steph were then gossiping about Maggie, soon wanting to have “fun”, finding the comment of the gay neighbour offensive from Clive. Leo’s date Dave was then coming round and admiring the house, making out he’s fine on his own but as then declining Dave’s offer, which resulted in getting blocked. But Leo soon got a message from George, where an argument from Clive and Marie got him opening up to Leo, with a flashback of Leo’s parents bullying him, with George blocking Leo again due to fear, which was overheard by Clive. Leo was then feeling restless, so used the WhatsApp app chat to try and get through to him where after making a joke, George opened up about no one knowing he was gay, refusing helplines and talked about what love means, which linked to another flashback, giving him useful advice when George got tearful, urging him to tell his girl friends. Clive then came in to reassure him, soon asking about who he’s texting and how they’re not worth it, with George taking it out on Leo. The next day, the staff checking in on Leo, with Clive making out he’s late and Leo apologised for his “outburst”, with Saul working and getting the hang of things, with Mikey taking a liking to him and spotting the videos. It then got Saul and Mikey exchanging how much they make and why he’s making the money, offering a collab but politely declined, and shortly after that, Saul made out to Clive that Mikey was hitting on him, with Melba coming in and goading him about Saul and George, with Zee escorting him out. The police coming in to discuss their place with the council, wondering about drag queens which didn’t go well, followed by Leo gossiping about the councillor, soon recommending a youth group, coming back to the bar to find benny from the brewery gossiping about his night, making Clive uncomfortable, and a flashback talking about the neon and how he got the blame. Leo was then wanting Clive to get the neon and got grilled by him, with Mickey talking to Judy and Zee about Saul, sending his work on the chat with everyone getting flustered. The episode ended with Leo and Clive finding George in Leo’s house. Episode 3 saw Clive getting arrested claiming what he saw was an execution, rewind to 43 years ago, where we got to see Clive in a band, and the present (a few days before the events of his feud with Leo), hearing the same song he played on his own at to work, meeting Connor who mentioned about moving to Ashbury's due to bullying him, berating him for his life and how he worked hard (so it’s safe to say this isn’t the first time his behaviour was like this). This then got Clive taking Rajesh’s stuff to get rid of it, soon looking for other work which he accepted, with the female called Diane berating him for his work but took a liking to him. After a regular evening, Clive came back to the workplace, with Diane being impressed and talking about his past guest, sharing their dangerous thoughts and talked about his marriage, and whilst getting high, mentioned a fling with a woman called Patricia on a family holiday with Diane asking her out, making out to Marie it was to meet someone called Stewart. The taxi driver on the journey there was speaking to his girlfriend with their language getting Clive uncomfortable due to wishing he and Marie had that love, giving him a tip in the process. Diane soon arrived at the restaurant, with Clive making his boundaries clear and revealed what really happened between him and Patricia, infuriating Diane but he revealed he lied to get him attention, resulting her to leave. Clive was then coming back home, claiming it was a mundane situation, and after trying to have a “moment”, Marie discussed their situation with regards to their divorce. The next day saw Clive back at work with a card from Diane, soon coming home to ask George about his project upon marked request, which was the moment when Leo asked for the key, recapping everything that happened so far, setting an alarm for 1502 which got George spying on him and raiding the house, leading up the moment Clive and Leo find him. Immediately Clive was accusing Leo of taking advantage of George, who Leo was secretly worried and George ran away spotted by there neighbour. Clive was then threatening Leo, who then retaliated by telling the police what he’ll say, breaking down and reported it to Judy which got word from Marie (which got him arguing) and Steph who urged Leo to call the police. But Leo realised what George meant for Clive not being able to call him, and Leo was then meeting Steph and Melba at the bar, discussing if calling the police is a bad idea, with Steph lightening the mood with an “activity” boys do. Saul eventually managed to find George, who was berated by Marie with Saul trying to lighten the mood, and Clive was jumping to conclusions, with Marie brainwashing them leading to a comment on why George left next door. Steph and Melba were then suggesting that Leo changed the locks, whilst Clive breaks in, with Melba then asking a very erotic question and Clive finding a interesting toy and an email, with a comment from Mickey got Clive looking at his messages. Steph was then quick into asking why he texted George, with Clive listening to a voice note and seeing the messages and Mikey sent a voice note to change the password, along with Saul’s videos which got deleted. And whilst Melba was gave a speech, a message from Clive got Leo accused of saying it, whilst Saul headed home after Clive subscribed to his website. Leo was also heading home with a warning from Steph, and the episode ended with Clive listening to the song from his childhood and Leo finding Saul scolding Leo and seeing Clive in his house.

Sonic The Hedgehog 3:

This week I watched the third film starring the iconic video game character faster than the speed of sound. This wasn’t originally the plan (and I’ll mention it in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), but it was definitely a good watch on a day where I definitely needed it to wind down. Keep an eye out for a blog on what I learnt from all the film franchises and how much they mean to me.

Personal:

Exercise:

This weeks exercise was okay. I only went on the bike once which was on Monday, where I got to 10k in 13mins 3 secs, but managed to get to 15k in a reasonable time as seen below. I also did my gym workouts and also plenty of yoga, so you could say that I definitely kept ontop in that area of my exercise in that regards.

Cooking:

This week I made a delicious spaghetti carbonara. I very much almost made this myself, which I was very pleased about, with a little assistance from my Nan on the basic things that was missing. But still it was a hit, and my family absolutely enjoyed it!

Haircut:

This week I had my haircut. This was a well needed job to do, as it was ready for a tidy up to avoid split ends, and I was very pleased with the results. Check out my before and after shots of the process.

Father’s Day Meal:

This week I went to Hickory’s Smoke House as part of Father’s Day. This was a delicious meal, and you’d be surprised by how much it would fill you up. But I had a really good time, and I would definitely got there again and try one of their puddings, even if I had to take it away.

Survey:

This week I continued my surveys. I managed to get them done 3 days a week which got me was a new achievement. When I have a break for the summer, this should hopefully be more of a task to not only regulate when things get overwhelming, but to also increase my chances of earning some extra cash.

Darts:

This week was two completely different sessions. These were landing on Double 17 after 1 bust score and 1 missed match dart, along with double 1 after 18 bust scores and 22 missed march darts. So two completely different sessions, but I got some good scoring as seen below! Hopefully when I break up for the summer I can increase my game and get better as time goes on!

The Assembly:

This week I watched more of the show where neurodivergent and disabled interviewers grill celebrities. The first one I watched was with Lenny Henry. Tomislav was asking about his wax work at Madame Tussaud’s, and Julice asked about his past idols and ask his current ones, where he gave good advice. Shardonnay was asking about Britain when he was younger to now, and how comedy helped him when he was bullied, Nichola asked about the order he washes his body parts (the same question she asked Stephen Fry). Caroline asking about the premier inn before Huwey asked about the weight of comic relief but gave an answer that was inspiring along with the “white saviour celebrity era”, and Jacob was giving facts about. Anand was explaining his he saw a weird encounter, and Mikey asked if his partner challenged him to be on the show, but also how he met his partner, and a comment on if he asked about marriage was brilliant. Luka was asking what was the hardest decision he had to forgive himself for, where he talked about a show he was on that was horrific, and Jodie asked if he was a fan of Eastenders, with Jacob adding on more information, along with good and a dog. Lydia was asking about his diabetes, Gary asking his favourite pub drink, with Jacob stating how doesn’t drink. Elijah was asking about the uncle/father story and explained his family’s past, and Shaun asked his favourite memory of his mother and talking about his mother, with Lenny talking about the moment his mum passed away but how the audience helped him. Finally, Jack was talking about alcohol whilst the house and perform “lean on me”. The episode ended with Lenny feeling honoured and everyone dancing. They also interviewed Anna Maxwell Martin. Nichola was asking how much she’s getting paid for it, along with a good related question, and Jamal from Nottingham asked if she used her skills to hide an aspect of herself, and mentioned a tactic used at an airport. Essin asked about method acting, which gave a valid opinion, and Ali was asking if she stood up for herself when being bullied along with how much she laughs. It all got emotional when Mikey opened up about losing his dad and asking for this on loss, song with a question on her new man, and Julice also mentioned about her father, asking how it impacted her relationship with children. Tomislav was wanting Anna to read his poem Mr Jupertarian along with asking if she writes, and Sophie asked about her shoplifting past along with something no one knows about her. Shardonnay was asking who she supports politically, which was disappointed after mentioning it, and Gary asked about TV Presenting and how she took it after her kids dad passed away. Joseph was asking she may be neurodivergent after mentioning her sensory vibes, which Joseph was open minded about, along with asking on how to break the cycle of trauma to start a family, and Ben was asking what “fart tennis” is (which I didn’t even know was a thing). The final question was Elijah, asking when her happiest moment is, giving an optimist answer, and I loved how at the end she was so kind to everyone, which is what the world needs really.

Celebrity Gogglebox:

This week I watched more of the show where some of the most iconic celebrities watch tv. Jordan was querying Perri on his love of chocolate goats, something which I’m uncertain about. Kelly was querying Mark on his “leisure trousers”, and Max was telling George about his calorie counting. Joe and Maisie were discussing the day they were born, and Harry was showing Matt the technique for eating wings. Finally, Julian reported to Nigel about a podiatrist after complimenting Nigel, and Joanne was telling Vogue a story of a package that got robbed. They once again watched some of the most talked about moments on TV. “Countdown” saw the final episode of the series, with the Celebrity Goggleboxers joining in and surprised by Patrick. “Scam Interceptors” got interceptor Mark looking at celebrity scams and how it happens, and “Best of the world with Antoni Prowoski” got him going to Canary Wharf. “Rivals” showed the kid season finale, with a spoiler I won’t give away on here, and "Swipe Right For Sperm" saw a documentary about sperm donation. Finally, “I Will Find You” saw another Harlan Coben drama, which followed David Burroughs finding out his son he thought he killed is alive, and the “BBC News” talked about Scotland getting excited about the World Cup.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

I think one of the two challenges I faced this week was not going to my friends leaving drinks. I was going to, but with a mixture of an injury on my back that flared up again, the heat and also being abit overstimulated, I didn’t go at the end of the day. But that made up for it by watching the third Sonic The Hedgehog Movie, and also mentioning how I would be in London in the next coming months. And all I can say is thank god for social media, as I’m able to keep in touch with my friend for when I’m in the same area they are for whatever reason. The other main challenge was that I declined an audition as an extra at a theatre I went to many times due to my back, and also wondering if I’m slightly too old. But what I learnt from that was I trusted my instincts, learning that by saying no to one thing I’m saying yes to another. So at least I had that mentality to think about.

What Have I Learnt This Week? If I change my mind about going for a meet up for a genuine reason, it's okay to change your mind. I'm aiming this particularly for the autistic community, as sometimes overstimulation can get in the way, and sometimes we need to learn how to say no.

And that is it for my weekly highlights for the summer. Keep an eye out though throughout where I’ll be posting separate blogs, which include TV shows I’ve watched, theatre shows I’ve seen, my experience performing at different events, and something I saw in an email that got me inspired!

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
