Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. As we head into the half way point of 2026 (where did the time go?!?!) this addition saw me filming a self-tape, going back to basics cooking wise and starting the show where celebrities watch tv. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 8th Jun 2026:

Professional:

Content Posting:

This weeks content was three things. They were my theatre reel, my main showreel, and sharing my March showreel scene of when I went to Thurgatory Manor. This was a lot to post and I did have some technical issues. But thankfully I managed to get them all posted. See the links below to view them for yourself.

Job Applying:

This week I continued to apply for more acting jobs. For once I managed to get 90% of the jobs I made a note to nudge my agent/apply on Mandy done, and I’m quite pleased with myself. I even managed to get a self tape for the pre screen on one of the jobs done, which I’m also very pleased with myself. So all in all a successful part of my weekly tasks done!

Profile Update:

This week I updated my Spotlight profile with my latest credits and my CV. This was much needed, and despite a technical issue, I managed to get the media needed on my profile. Now all I need to do is check to see which casting directors I need to email and make a draft to send in August!

Acting Class:

This week I went back to the in person class after being away for a few weeks because of the rehearsals for the scratch night. This was mostly a sit down and watch session, but it looked really useful as I got to see some of the actors tapes on a big projector that was now instilled into the classroom. This gave a whole different view of watching actors scenes seeing the micro details from the notes it teacher gave. But overall I found it very useful, and with more scenes to do, I can’t wait to try it and see myself on there myself.

Act On This:

This weeks podcast was with agency Nicola Bolton Management. Yes I already have an agent but their advice helped me to gain insightful information and refreshing my memory on how to work together as a team. So overall I’ve enjoyed listening to this session, definitely inspiring me to go onto the week ahead!

Coronation Street.

This week I watched more of the show set in weather field. 25th saw Will watching a video of Megan, who Ollie agreed on how it wasn’t nice but encouraged Will to delete the video, soon asking him about the exam, where he was adamant on how he doesn’t want it resit but can’t focus. In the cafe Nina was looking at him watching it, with Sam coming in and berating him (not knowing it’s the real Will) and Nina also showing concern for Sam. Eva was then showing Ben Will’s first athletic trophy, adamant that Will will recover with time and having no pressure, but Ben was adamant he may not go back to athletics. It then got Will overhearing them about his relationship with women, soon butting in to confront them, followed by Asha finding Will drowning his sorrows, using her experience of when she hit rock bottom to get through to him, soon asking for help. Eva meanwhile was looking for Susie’s tablet whilst Ben tried to ring Will, Hope mentioned his whereabouts, where Maggie (who Asha messaged) was talking to him, reminding that everyone is angry at Megan and motivated him to not let her win. It got Ben slowly appreciating Maggie’s help, with Megan secretly hiding, and Hope was offering her support, also spotting him and Megan’s confrontation. Elsewhere, George and Christina were making breakfast, with Todd declining following the events with Summer and Mary seeing both sides, telling a story linking to a hungry dog. Nina and Asha was then ask talking about Summer, whilst asking Sarah about the attack, with Todd coming in worried about Summer. It then got Todd, Bethany and Sarah talking about her and the night, soon revealing about he asked Gary to warn Theo and Sarah suggesting to trust Lisa. Todd and Sarah were wanting more alcohol to get their worries away, only for George and Christina to come in with Mary setting up an “intervention”, with Todd suddenly announcing he wants to move in with Sarah and getting a call from Summer about what Lisa said. Meanwhile, Daniel was coming back from a dentist appointment with Ken looking after Bertie, but mentioned to Ken about someone bullying Bertie due to the stuff with Daniel, adamant he’s out for revenge. Daniel was then spotting Jodie with her phone, but managed to lie her way out of it and showed the video of Megan, with Daniel thanking her and revealing about Bertie getting bullied. Elsewhere, Leanne was giving Dylan and Betsy each a trail shift at Speed Dahl, with Adam and Alya being the new customers and talking about how she’s working two jobs. But Alya was successful in finding a new client and admiring Dylan and Betsy trying, with Betsy offering to let Dylan have the job. 26th saw Eva and Ben giving Asha flowers as a thank you and how her experience helped, reminding them how Maggie had an impact on both her and Will. Speaking of Maggie, she was soon meeting Ben at the hotel, explaining what he wanted and invited her back to come back to the Rovers. Whilst Asha showed Nina Aadi’s new hairstyle, Hope came to meet Will to invite him to revise and asked about their confrontation, soon finding a note, whilst Maggie moved back into the Rovers, and the Driscolls were wanting a fresh start with Ben explaining how proud of him he was. But there was more drama to come when Will secretly setting up the new mobile. Elsewhere, Brody was going for a run, spotting someone out it concern whilst at Speed Dahl, Tim and Sally spotting clients (who were pre loaded) whilst Adam complimented Leanne’s dish, with Brody coming to help after Leanne initially refused but allowed it due to being short staffed. Some time later Sally was still annoyed by the drunk customers, with Leanne attempting to drive them out, with the man Brody saw coming in to sort them out. He then found out it was Kal’s cousin who claims he’s in property, offering Brody some help and Sally gave some advise on washing shoes. After Eva was asking Brian about a packet of food (where she had to stop Susie from giving the stranger from the beginning of the episode money), Alya explained to Adam about Idris and his rise to having nothing. But Idris confronted the bloke from the pub, with Brody coming in and ask what’s going on and why he moved. Meanwhile, Sarah was leaving a voice message to Kit whilst George found Danielle in the flower shop and checking in on her, who was organising the funeral. Tracy surprisingly was secretly feeling ashamed, and something got George wondering, soon getting berated by Tracy and Gary about Summer. Todd and Sarah were then in the bistro talking about going to Thailand despite there being a murder investigation, with George coming in to drop off some washing and Gary walking into the two of them drunk, early trying to escape everything that’s happened. Meanwhile, Daniel was talking to Nina and Jodie about Bertie and the trolls, with Jodie trying to get him to back down and explaining the “Barbra Affect”, followed by Nina giving her thoughts on the universe. Daniel was then updating Jodie on the situation whilst Will deleted pictures of his phone, updating him about the trolls, putting pressure on Jodie. 27th saw Daniel up early looking at the comments from “Truthteller” with Bertie coming in. Daniel was turn hesitant when Bertie tried to show Daniel something, who opened up about needing pictures for evidence and Jodie was then stating how it’s not fair on Bertie. Daniel then asked Bertie where he would want to go within reason, which got the two meeting Ken ready for a trip to the aquarium, only to get a call from the police and two people attacking him. Jodie was then coming in to find Shona back to work whilst she found Daniel cleaning up and invited her to join him and Adam for a curry, only for Idris to push him to breaking point about the video with Leanne soon coming in and being invited. Daniel was then coming back with Adam and Jodie, soon scaring Bertie with his temper which got Ken reminding him of the responsibilities, but still adamant on wanting revenge. Meanwhile, Brody and Idris were discussing the job, with Brody mentioning his drivers test and Rita berating Brian for his lack of “delivery service”. Soon Idris, Alya and Adam celebrating Eid, with Idris getting a message from Brody and taking Adam and Alya's offer to stay. Elsewhere, Todd and Sarah were waking up from a hangover, with Todd going to see Summer and Sarah convincing him she’ll be fine. At the prison, Todd reassured Summer he’ll help him, and was soon reporting it back to to Sarah, fearing the worst but reassured him he won’t let her down, only to get a call about the insurance policy paying him out. Whilst that was happening, The Dobbs/Stape family were talking about a unique order at Roy’s cafe and asking about Summer, soon asking about Summer and Ruby accidentally broke Roy’s train, which Roy mentioned it’ll be fixable. I could sense Roy’s frustrating when he was telling Shona and Brian to let him be, whilst Hope checks in with Will about Megan, making out it was music and Ruby was soon teasing her about it. Back at home Hope was giving Fiz attitude when seeing the messages from her phone, but Fiz explaining her reasons, but got a message from Will about revising. 28th saw Todd and Sarah waking up to Theo’s funeral, with Sarah reassuring him it’s his decision whether he goes or not, and also mentioned about the life insurance with her having a suggestion on what to do with it, stating it would feel wrong but she reminded him that he deserves it. Nina, Asha and Amy were also preparing to visit Summer and speaking about what she’ll do, recommending Tyrone following a mechanics class, who felt uneasy. Elsewhere Lisa was having lunch with Betsy and Ryan and were having fun, only to be interrupted by Todd, Sarah and James seeing Mary, George and Christina who want to show support watched on by Lisa. Todd was slowly being happy with everyone being with him, and thanking James for helping out, only for Danielle coming in about the payout, with Sarah asking Lisa for help didn’t work with Christina flipping the question and Sarah backing her up. Ryan then came to a realisation that Danielle was there on the night of the murder, soon questioning her motives after she claims she was there to deliver the wedding cake. George, Christina Mary and Todd wwre also talking about Daniel, with Nina, Asha and any updating them on Summer and how vulnerable she was, with Tyrone looking guilty. Sarah was then going back to the Platts and trying to ring Gary, only to find Jodie making a threat to keep it to herself whilst Tyrone got a call. Meanwhile, Ken was serving Daniel some food and reminded him to get some help after the previous events of the episode, with Ken suggesting on Daniel going back to the place he “stayed” but soon revealed where he actually was. Ken was soon questioning Daniel on why he lied and his treatment of Bertie, soon mentioning why he trusted Jodie without judgement. Speaking of Jodie, she was in the Kabin talking to Brian about his book (which she stole), with Ken coming in and thanked her for his help not knowing it was her behind the account. Elsewhere, Betsy was asking Dylan about a car suggesting to go to Blackpool, with Dylan declining due to his shift at Speed Dhal, and Idris was soon spotting Leanne getting into self defence. She was then Leanne giving Dylan the lowdown with Brian being his first customer which didn’t go down well and Idris inviting her for a drink. At the Rovers, Idris was teasing Leanne of her Birmingham accent after me thinking Peaky Blinders, and explaining her attack mode which soon led to a kiss. For the Driscolls, Hope was helping Will with revising with Eva listening in and pleased with the positive affect. Eva was then reporting Hope’s positive behaviour on Will but Fiz explained her reasons for being protective and explaining how Hope and Will together would be a problem. 29th (directed by Jordan Hogg), saw Todd visiting Summer again to check in on her, who’s clearly not great and mentioned about Tyrone not backing up her alibi. Speaking of Tyrone, he was meeting Ronnie about the night of Theo’s murder, interrupted by Fiz to give his lunch, followed by Ryan asking Lisa about Danielle after the kick off and the cake delivery with Carla soon asking if Ryan was right. Danielle was then getting interviewed, soon revealing her whereabouts, and suggesting to ask Todd, who was reassured by Glenda about Summer whilst Ronnie and Tyrone came in, confronting him with Carl coming in. Soon Adam was seeing Summer, suggesting to look at the worst case scenarios but promising to not give up. Tyrone was then convinced to tell the truth, reminding Ronnie of Debbie, with Carl overhearing things whilst Todd and Glenda wondering why Tyrone would lie, only for Danielle to come in to grill Todd about the money with Lisa reluctantly revealing to Ryan and Carla about Danielle’s whereabouts. Ronnie made out it was car stuff, with Carl and Todd asking about his whereabouts on the night. A flashback then revealed Tyrone knocked Carl off, wanting to tell the truth but Ronnie revealing to ride it out, with Fiz reassuring him but not telling the full truth. Meanwhile, Idris and Leanne were having breakfast which was spotted by Alya, soon joining them and revealed of their relationship, revealing of his reputation. Maybe she was right, as Idris was getting off a call and complimenting Tracy on the flower shop, followed by him and Leanne in the bistro to talk about what Alya said, with Idris giving a good analogy. Elsewhere, Jodie was reporting to Daniel about Sarah’s conversation with Gary and the history, only for the Truthteller account to go completely and was confusing, but took it as a win. It then resulted in Daniel gathering everyone at the bistro to reveal about “Truthteller” being deleted, debating what’s going on, only for another account to be released. Everyone was also wondering about the who set up the account, soon asking Toyah if it’s anyone in the restaurant.

I also watched two episodes from the week commencing 1st June, both of which were directed by Jordan Hogg. 1st June saw Daniel being nervous about his first day at work, with Jodie offering to help and Bertie giving him a present. It was nice to see Brian agreeing with Daniel about the internet, but encouraging him didn’t help with his mood, and it looked like going back wasn’t the best idea as Jake and Lily were pushing his buttons. And Lily doing a prank caused the mug to break, soon breaking down with Hope sticking up for him and soon getting into normality after mistaking a gesture for something else. Daniel was then coming into the rovers with Brian (who forgave him for the outburst) and Adam checking in on him, but stood his ground on the drink, soon drinking in the precinct and spotted Megan, stopped by Adam who then brought him to the flat and reported to Jodie about it. Meanwhile, Alya was quizzing idris on his intentions, and soon he was visiting Leanne at speed dhal to flirt with her, arranging a next date with Alya reminding her to be careful. Alya was then talking to Idris about her latest client, telling her to act and “be the change” with Idris wanting to be represented as a client and told him of Leanne being engaged to Kal, but he claimed he was a changed man. For Todd and Sarah, they were reflecting on Billy (their stillborn) who would’ve been 22 if he were still alive. This got David inviting Sarah for a cup of tea whilst being haunted by the memory of the attack, but it got Shona and David arguing about Harper when he wanted to check in on Sarah. Never the less, David was going with Sarah to the Rovers with Bethany and Nick to remember baby Billy with Fiz trying to send her condolences. For the murder case, Lisa revealed that Danielle’s alibi checks out infuriating Todd, whilst Ronnie was updating Tyrone that he did right but felt the pressure of it. Soon Carl was aggravating Ronnie at the hotel about him and Tyrone, and Todd was visiting Summer in prison to update her on Tyrone’s thoughts, with Summer revealing that her only option is to plead guilty for manslaughter. Todd was then back to Sarah and Gary about Summer, feeling gutted with Carl trying to get Tyrone to admit the truth but was adamant he’ll find it himself. Todd then came to Carla and Lisa’s, begging her to see Summer’s guilty, and a comment about his phone got Lisa looking into it, with a image of someone taking out the SD card. But the question is… who? 2nd June saw Daniel checking Bertie’s teeth, soon going into his room and updating Jodie about pulling a sickie and wondering about Truthteller 2. But a comment on a post got Daniel realising Jodie was Truthteller, who was then trying to sway his thoughts whilst Daniel confronts her, with her explaining why but denied about Truthteller 2. Gemma was then reporting Adam to sort out Daniel in the Rovers after finding him drunk, offering him water and soon exposed Jodie as Truthteller, with Rita soon getting involved. Daniel then came back to find Kirk with Bertie, only for him to fall asleep and sorting out the meal himself but putting foil in the microwave. This got Bertie coming to Ken’s to reveal to Adam and Tracy and explained about the microwave, with Adam sorting things out. For the Platts, David was bringing David the dog back and talking about a fellow dog Walker, reminding him of a food bank Lily was supposed to bring to school, with a talk on Harper causing tension between the him and Shona. Soon Jodie was visiting David, who revealed her row with Daniel and he then opened up about Shona. But she soon brought up Carla’s wedding, trying to gaslight him and going through her version of the night in question. Whilst that was happening, Gemma and Chesney were coming out of the hospital for Aled’s check up, whilst she checks in on Shona and opened up about their row. Soon Shona was coming back home to apologise to David, who admitted he wanted a day off (which was understandable), but Jodie was then coming during David and Shona’s lovely moment to report on Daniel, with Shona offering her to stay. For the murder case, Lisa was talking to Carla in the factory about her new colleague and the case, with Sarah coming back to work. Lisa was them reporting to Carla about the phone, which is a step forward to getting Summer off the hook with Carla pleased with her efforts. For the Nazir clan, Idris met Rita, questioning his and Leanne’s relationship and was soon asking about it in the Rovers, wanting the gossip. Adam was then coming to Speed Dahl to, making it clear he was still abit wary of Idris, but decided to take him on as a client anyway.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a funeral, a teen taking something that’ll be the start of a new storyline, and one resident wanting to expose the truth. Mondays episode saw Diane’s funeral taking place, but not before tony gives out the letters Diane wrote for him and the kids, only for Tony’s wasn’t there. This got him panicking, but Leela reassured him that the letter was filled with nothing but love and happiness. Thankfully he managed to get through it, until Dee Dee revealed the letter and what it said about him and Leela. But Tony reassured her that nothing like that will happen after he made it clear to Diane it was her he loved. The teens were also feeling the wrath of today, with Ant wearing sunglasses to avoid anyone seeing him cry and was mocked by Dee Dee because of it. But Kathleen-Angel reassured him that showing emotion was okay, and soon they were playfully teased by Ro, at least they were able to find some humour within the horrific day. The adults we’re all discussing the letter meanwhile, but Tony wanted to get through the day by getting very drunk. And after seeing spoilers, Dee Dee us about to spiral when she sees Tony drunkenly trying to kiss Leela. Meanwhile outside of the funeral, Jonah was quick in catching out Beth going to get her nails done, when in reality she was trying to find some scoop on the Osbornes. And soon she was getting Caleb to spy on Frankie, who had to hide Charlie after getting a panic attack in the car when trying to get to the station to get to Newcastle (which Nancy initially objected to but slowly agreed). She then went to chat to Vicky about Caleb, and after some advice from her and Vicky, decided to go on a proper date with him. But she soon decided to cut things off, not knowing that Caleb was having a malfunction with his wheelchair and ignoring her calls. Tuesdays episode saw Dee Dee continuing to spiral after what she saw, vandalising Leelas door and causing a scene in the village. Tony was also feeling the strain of not having Diane around, revealing to Ant and Ro that he tried to drunkenly kiss Leela, whilst they helped put Eva to bed. To help with the pain, Trina convinced Dee Dee to take something stronger than alcohol in the form of ketamine, which I think only made things worse when Dee Dee saw a glimpse of Diane. The affects definitely weren’t wearing off despite Trina thinking so, and soon Maddox was on hand to help, with Tony coming just in time to get her inside. After seeing spoilers, i know this won’t be the first time she uses ketamine. Elsewhere Caleb and Frankie were each having separate conversations with their loved ones about the failed date, with Jonah urging Caleb to be honest with her about the real reason why he didn’t answer, and Darren suggesting to Frankie that Caleb is too good for her. He was then confronting Caleb himself, with jonah stepping in, and Beth soon coming onto the scene and inviting the family round for lunch. Again after seeing spoilers I know she has an ulterior motive, and that comes in the form of exposing Charlie, who admitted to Darren about the reality of being on the run, and soon confiding in Frankie about his fears and being away from his loved ones for a long time. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Beth putting her plan into place, with Jonah (who was going on a work trip abroad) was slightly hesitant about it all. Frankie reluctantly agreed to come after getting her boot off, and soon she was taking Darren’s keys to get Maddox to spy on them. All seemed well at lunch with Jack telling some brilliant stories from his tribute days, but it got awkward when the subject of Charlie was brought up, and soon Maddox came back with the news that they were in fact keeping him. Speaking of Maddox, he was with Dee Dee, who earlier went to the doctors with Tony following her dose of ketamine. Whilst she didn’t say anything about it, Misbah gave her the support she needed by talking about her childhood and imploring her not to shot tony out. Dee Dee was then confiding in Maddox about everything and he seemed like the support she needed. But Tony was going into overprotective mode, and soon lashed out at Eva when she wanted Diane to read the story. And a comment on wanting to talk to Diane again for Dee Dee back on the ketamine from Trina. Something tells me this is a long road in the grieving process. Although there was some good news, as Mercedes made the decision to get her stoma reversed after getting a letter from the oncologist, with Warren willing to pay for a private appointment to get it done sooner rather than later. So at least we have se good news in the village. For now anyway…

Eastenders:

This week involved huge life changing events where it was simply labelled “the night that changed everything”. Mondays episode saw the wedding celebrations going strong, but Denise was at the doctors trying to process the news of her having AML. I got to learn some facts with regards to survival rates, and I was quite shocked by thr statistics, particularly when it comes to people of colour. But Yolanda was definitely there to not only take some of the heat Denise was putting on, but to be there when she revealed the diagnosis and how frightened she is. I won’t revealed much as it was a hard watch, but I must say kudos to Diane Parish for giving a powerful speech about the reality of getting a diagnosis. But that wasn’t the only drama happening. At the wedding Alfie and do we’re setting up the flashmob, with Howie having a necklace with the gang suggesting to propose to Kim as it was also her 50th birthday. But Ian had to step out as after chatting with Cindy about her and Max, Kathy had one too many to drink, and ended up having to bring Kathy home. Little do they know that their simply drive home was something short of a life changing moment for the wrong reasons. And Chelsea was complaining to Penny about having a child, with Josh offering to look after jordon after he teased Harvey and Chelsea wanted a dance with Mark. This got Lauren impressed, and I do wonder if the fans were right about them having an affair, as she ended up calling him babe by mistake. And Chelsea was at the end of her teacher with Jordan after nearly having a moment with Zack. But she may life to regret her actions when it’s revealed that Jordan was caught in Kathy and Ian’s drunken “accident”. Tuesdays episode saw the flashmob taking place, and despite Mark having to fill in (who was reluctant at first) and Harvey feeling abit sick, it went well. But it was about to take a turn for the worse when Josh and Chelsea found Jordan, and Peter had to step in to make sure he was still breathing, which he was. And after Denise managed to find some light of her diagnosis, she was rang by her doctor to urge her to start the treatment required in order for the best chances of survival, but putting it on hold after hearing about Jordan. Kathy meanwhile was still abit drunk, but she was poured her heart out to Ian about how proud she is of him, only to have him arrested due to failing the breathalyser test and mentioning about his car being seen. And after some questions, he was required to give another sample, where he was 6 points over the limit, soon questioning the police officer about the limitations. But his mood soon quickly changed when the police told him that the victim was Jordan, immediately asking for a solicitor after initially declining one. I also wouldn’t want to mess with Jack Branning, particularly when it’s something as personal as this and explaining the severity of the situation, and Chelsea for one minute shouldn’t blame herself for being a bad mother when she needed to let her hair down every now and then. I can also see the Fox/Branning clan’s anger upon finding out the culprit was Ian, but there was a lovey moment where Howie proposed to Kim after previously attempting to do it at the flashmob and leaving the gift behind (but I’ll get onto that bit in a moment). Elsewhere, Mark eventually revealed his feelings for Lauren, but good on her for not kissing him back knowing the repercussions of his the last situation with Zack, but she knew how much she loved Peter after he told her of Jordan, reminding him of Louie and Jimmy. But it didn’t help that Max was making drunk remarks at Lauren following recent events with the car lot, and he was soon making a drunken speech about happiness. It was then he decided to pull Cindy to propose to her after Vicki made a joke about the two, and using Howie’s ring, did just that. For me personally I knew what my answer would be as I would hate getting proposed to in public but Wednesdays episode saw Cindy declining the offer of a proposal, knowing it was in the wine place at the wrong time, but was also infuriated when she found out it wasn’t even Max’s ring. And good on Vicki for chucking him out, although she started to feel unwell after Harvey ate the prawn billinis. I’m just glad Elaine was able ti cheer her up when talking about her thoughts on Max, but kinda showing some empathy was kind but maybe part of a situation where after watching the fast forward episode, may get abit complicated. Priya meanwhile was finding some escape to move on after Ravi dumped her, with her first target being Zack who politely declined her. Suki (who wondered if Max was addicted to the art of love making) was then shocked when prosy came onto Eve, little knowing what’s really happening, and soon she followed Max to the garage and each opening up among their failed relationships. And after mocking his solitaire game, the two went home and things got heated, with Priya taking full control. Elsewhere, the Fox/Trueman clan were still waiting on Jordan, and then arguing about Denise’s “headache” wasn’t helpful. Yolande then begged her to consider starting the treatment, but was interrupted when Chelsea got an update about his surgery, still waiting for more tests on his spine despite it going well. And Harry could see that Gina was tense, and after she opened up about George still taking Eddie’s side, Harry eventually revealed what he said about Gina, which for obvious reasons weren’t nice to hear. It was then she opened up to George on how she really felt with Eddie in their lives, and how what Eddie said got George familiar. It was then he decided to make the decision to bring Eddie back to the prison, but not before Eddie revealed the deal he made with Nicola. Finally, Thursdays episode finished the night that changes everything, with Priya taking a selfie to send to Ravi about her night with Max to try and escape her broken heart. We also saw George finding out about the deal Eddie made with Nicola, and also about what he said to Gina. But a comment which I won’t say on here due to it being horrible for him finally standing up to him, letting him die when he begged him for water with his medication, soon confronting Nicola about the whole thing. One person that was affected by it all was Gina, and after a brief argument with Harry, she opened up about her past and growing up as a person of colour and the beliefs of having an interracial relationship. But then she expressed her love for Harry after doing what he did to get through to her which was lovely to see. But with Penny’s secret about who the father of her baby is, something tells me that there’s more challenges ahead for the couple. Meanwhile everyone was having a lock in at the Vic, and with Eve and Harvey getting food poisoning, Kat dared him to eat the prawn balinis himself, which didn’t go down well (and was actually quite entertaining). In the Vic, Cindy who took a tumble confided in Lauren about her and Max, and praised her for her relationship with Peter. But it got Lauren wondering if what Max said at her wedding was right after Mark tried to kiss her, expressing those fears onto him. But he reassured her that it’s not the case, and soon he agreed with Cindy to be engaged after making an idiot of himself at the wedding. But with the flashforward episode giving a big clue on who’s pregnant, it’s going to be a long journey ahead. And Chelsea got a glimpse of Jordan in hospital, with Denise encouraging her to be brave and step up after Chelsea admits she’s out of her depth. Soon she was raining her own advice and bravely opened up to Jack about her cancer diagnosis, further paranoid after seeing Eddie being taken away in a private ambulance.

Amandaland.

This week I watched the last two episodes of the Motherland spin off. The penultimate episode saw Episode 5: white van saw Amanda refusing to let Georgie have a fake ID for a festival, seeing the house pricing. This got Manus noticing the way she looked and asked about her eyes, claiming it’s the font and accidentally nearly leaving Georgie. Mal was also also made a comment on Amanda’s eyesight, explaining her biological age, which was followed by Fi having another booking for her business “Utterly Barking”, buying a van and Mal offering to help with the van. Amanda also revealed about the fake ID business, with Anne not worrying about Darius at the moment, which was shortly followed by Amanda asking Felicity to drop her off at the opticians whilst talking about Elspeth’s house, slowly asking for the money during an interesting car ride soon deciding to walk the rest of the way. Meanwhile Fi was liking the van after recalling the memories to her dad, and despite Mal seeing the rough patches she bought it anyway. Amanda then found out at the opticians she needs glasses, soon giving in after struggling to read the prescription, whilst Darius asking Anne for a ID, needing one to prove he’s the age he was which got Anne worried and relieved, accidentally getting the two tasks mixed up. Back at the opticians, Amanda found some new glasses, with a colleague Finlay helping out with a cheaper price, having some temporary ones for the time being, whilst Fi was as showing Della the van, soon ending the call to test it out and make it, with the radio stuck and mark reminding her if the “white van” situation. Amanda soon got suspicious when Felicity was being strangely nice due to having a viewing of the house, noticing the scar arch on the car. The head was then giving a meeting at the school about GCSEs, with Mal noticing Amanda’s temporary glasses and exaggerating about Finlay who, with Abs thinking he’s a serial killer and also asking if Anne is getting menopause after describing the symptoms. Whilst that was happening, Fi’s dogs were getting agitated whilst she was listening to an interesting radio station with her getting on the call, and Amanda and Felicity going to the viewing, wanting a chat and also getting her to take the blame for a speeding ticket. Anne was soon going to the hospital to ask about her symptoms, with the doctor saying she’s pregnant, even shocking me, but her reaction got me laughing with tears! At the football game, Amanda declined Felicity’s offer after showing the photo, with Mal thinking it was Amanda but soon seeing the resemblance. Anne then came in with a sprain to reveal she’s pregnant, and soon Amanda as getting her glasses, with Finlay soon asking her out but was interrupted by another customer. Amanda was then seen dropping a pregnancy present for her whilst showing her Finlay to proof a point, whilst Mal’s can broke down, with Fi offering to take a him to his destination, and Mal explaining one of the phrases got her questioning nothings, with Mal soon calling someone out “blaming on the van”. Amanda and Anne were soon spying on Finlay who had a girlfriend, soon forgetting the situation only to find Georgie and Morten with the drinks, only to be caused by Darius with his ID and was shocked to find out Anne’s pregnancy. Amanda soon made her decision in declining Felicity’s, being honest about her driving. The episode ended with Felicity revealing she’s given up her license and taken the fall for the speeding, selling her house so she can live with Amanda at the new house, with Amanda secretly being less than impressed. The final episode that was Episode 6: Prom, saw Amanda waking up Felicity who was “sleeping homeless”, and also discovered in having a difference between hers and Amanda’s living conditions, also asking to keep an eye out on a fall from the estate agent. Fi was then seen having lots of dogs to cover the bills, with Harriet having thoughts on a lesbian relationship. The parents reflecting on prom and Anne was adamant that no drugs will be in the house, soon getting emotional over Darius’ promposal to Georgie, having a change of plan for the after party but soon having a prep left and soon discussing about the boys pre prom plans. It didn’t help that Felicity was still in bed whilst Amanda was setting up the pre party stuff, with Mal finding something in the bins with Felicity watching on, soon asking about her. Amanda was then planning things and soon everyone coming round for pres with a lot of mums coming in. It was quite entertaining on how Della was a fan of tennis whilst Fi was excited about a sabbatical plan she had, with the makeup artist coming in.  It things were about to be ruined when Amanda got a call about the limo getting cancelled, whilst Felicity secretly puts alcohol in the mock tails, but a typo from the driver sorted things out. It was also clear that Georgie and Morten not being pleased with the makeup, and was soon sorting it whilst at Mals house, Anne noticed different things. It then got JJ and Abs coming in, with Abs seeing the flat for the first time and JJ getting beer spilled on him (which was funny). It also didn’t end up great when the makeup artist ended up getting a parking ticket but complimented Georgie on her manners. But a reveal of her having a recent chemo treatment got Amanda soon making a compromise which worked, followed by finding Felicity doing the makeup, soon catching her pouring alcohol in the drinks along with the limo coming in. Fi was also having a makeover done when Della announced her own restaurant in Miami, only for the makeup artist to end up in an awkward situation. Anne was then having pictures with Darius but being embarrassing (as parents would be), whilst Amanda allowed Georgie to wear her shoes only to get a all from the limo guy. Next door, Mal found Abs in the “Summer House”, standing up to her but was shocked when she was actually being impressed by how far he’s come since their split with JJ coming in drunk was entertaining. Anne was being on security for the boat whilst the limo got stuck with the girls coming in, but Fi came to the rescue with Mal complimenting her driving, and soon everyone got going. But Georgie left her bag with the shoes, and soon Amanda and Mal were going to the boat, complimenting her on Georgie, and just making it on time to give her the shoes, only to throw them away. Della and Fi were then reflecting on makeup and Morten, impressed by her driving and sensing she doesn’t want to move but encouraged her to go to Miami. Back at home, Amanda was updating Felicity, who complimented her followed by an update on the estate agent which got Amanda revealing she doesn’t want her to live with her, who feel the same but having the house instead of Amanda with Claire making her presence known in the ending of what has been a brilliant series.

A Taste For Murder:

This week I finished the series of the mystery show where ALOT of food is involved. The penultimate episode that was Episode 5: Ragu a Modo Tuo, saw two socials media stars Frankie and Emily looking for superstar Glenda Goodrich and sneaking into her house, with Emily being chased by a dog and Frankie finding someone dead. Meanwhile Joe was having a bike ride and then making Soffritto for a ragu, with Angelica finding a black book for his recipes and prices after finding out Gennaro doesn’t trust computers, reminding her of Sofia. Gennaro was then reminding Elena to not let Angelica see the accounts thinking she’s playing with fire, with Angelica revealing she’s looking at a catering colleges, with Elena thinking it’s a good idea. Angelica and Daniele were then going to a college, encouraging him to want it for himself and Angelica also reminding him the perks of being a chef, deciding to apply but getting suspicious. It looks like he’s in the firing line thought as w was getting photos of Daniele who talks about Angelica. Back at the restaurant, Gennaro noticed how joe added thyme and balsamic vinegar which ended up being changed on the lunch menu, having the first bite with Elena setting him up with Daria. But soon Lara interrupted the meal to ask about Sofia’s file, double checking with him to make sure he’s okay and also asking about a case linking to the deceased Valerie Pope. At her house they were asking the groundskeeper, who mentioned about her surgery and about Lizzie andrews the former assistant falling out. The two were Ben examining the crime scene, with Gianni stopping someone that is Valerie’s current assistant Stefan Andre. Stefan was then being asked about Valerie, who confirms that it’s her and asked for a photo ID, with Andre going to a safe to find a passport, but soon got shifty when finding the Will, which linked to animal charities with one of them being a plastic surgeon Mario Mitrea. Frankie and Emily were then going to the station and correcting them on who it was, with Lara soon turning down a drink with Joe to meet someone who has intel about Rocco Di Biasi. Joe was then speaking to his source “Gennaro” about it, but making out to Elena he’s not ready to cook a meal himself. Elena was quick in suggesting that Daria should cook a meal with him and before she left, she soon questioned her about it, with Elena revealing that she set her up with him to help mend his heart after Sofia. At the station the next day, Joe was showing Lara that Glenda is the same as Valerie, and soon suggested getting in her husband. But it was soon interrupted by Frankie and Emily posting about the investigation and letting them off, soon questioning Stefan, who revealed to be her son, explaining his history with Valerie only to spot her surgeon Mario. Stefan was then having a DNA test with Gianni getting the results from the autopsy, which linked to the plastic surgery but was nothing at the scene. Joe and Lara were then meeting Mario himself to talk about Valerie, going through her past surgeries and mentioned Lizzie Andrews, with someone mentioning about breaking into his room and finding Melatonin. The two were then recapping everything so far, with Joe visiting Curti and Lara seeing her colleague, with Curti having a tox report, looking on edge. At home, Daria was giving Joe a cooking lesson of gnocchietti whilst looking at the reports, being reminded of Sofia but reassured Daria it’s a good memory in order to stop pushing it away, who was equally impressed by his cooking skills. Daniele and Angelica in the meantime we’re going out out with his friends and having fun whilst Joe and Daria have the meal, offering to wash up but Daria turning down gelato due to not eating dessert, but accepted the offer to watch a film with Glenda Goodrich. And whilst Angelica still having fun, Joe and Daria watched the film but missing his phone ring, with Angelica suddenly gets spiked. A moment between joe and Daria was interrupted by Lara coming in to show him photos of Daniele, soon coming to the rescue after mentioning it Angelica’s whereabouts, but Daniele hiding her and about to do the worst. Thankfully Joe caught him in time, with Lara stopping him from being too overprotective which resulted in Daniele being arrested and joe and Daria bringing Angelica home, thanking her but also being reminded of Sofia, which she understood. Joe was then reflecting on the beach with Daria helping him taking care of her, showing her the meal they made to dip in her toast which they both shared and the history behind the sauce. Elena and Gennaro were then checking in on joe, with Daria letting him know about a man called Walt Elward, who was the person behind the account and at the mortuary, Joe and Lara were looking for a birthmark which they failed to find, revealing it wasn’t Glenda or Valerie. They were then going through why she wore the mask, with Gianni coming in the DNA test, soon recapping Lizzie Andrews to find out she’s the dead woman after using the ragu analogy about the name changing over time. The two then caught Stefan and Mario to reveal she died of natural causes, with Stefan getting interviewed and was still convinced Mario had an involvement with Curti going to the crime scene to go through everything, soon finding a body. The episode ended with Daniele in prison and Lara revealing Angelica was indeed drugged, wondering if charging him was the smart idea due to suggesting to offering a deal linking to Biasi. The final episode that was Episode 6: Holy Cannoli, saw the police catching a boat only to find a shark. The next morning, Angelica was reflecting on her relationship with Daniele, heartbroken but made out to Joe she was fine, who then revealed her drink from Daniele was spiked. She then admitted he knew he was dealing, and Joe soon confronted Luca about it, upsetting Angelica and in confiding in Elena about if it’s her fault, but Elena reminded her about Joe feeling guilty, also suggesting to stay on the island and learn on the job with Joe needing to think about what’s best for her. Joe is we then convincing Gennaro he still talks to him, who then admits that Luca is like Angelica which was then followed by giving some advice from the late Sofia, who admitted the culinary skills might not help. But Gennaro encouraged him to show how through food she’ll see his love for Angelica. Soon Joe was getting a call from Lara about the shark and gave a lowdown on what happened, soon changing the subject about Angelica with Joe thinking about how she felt he’s putting work ahead of feelings, with Lara convincing him to at least think about it. The conversation was then interrupted by finding a hand in the shark with scientist Cammolati being the main expert, but gave a description on blue sharks not killing people and how the shark in question may be pregnant. Curti was then revealing evidence on Fabio and Bernardo who are linked to Di Biasi, and how Daniele is a courier and how his help can put them away. Advised by Lara, joe the. spoke to Gennaro about it, with Elena making her feelings clear which encouraged him to do the right thing and also encouraged Joe to talk to Angelica through the meal sooner rather than later. In the kitchen, Joe and Luca apologised to each other, who the. mentioned the connections linking to the shark boat and whilst at the station, Lara was looking for more evidence whilst getting curious on sofias file, with another flashback of the day she died. Joe then got a text the next morning from Lara followed by Angelica getting a letter from Joe about his mean to cook with her, with Cammolati then showing the hand which is in the DNA test and Lara was able to find where it’s from based on but made out the message to Luca was his Interpol. Soon Curti was letting Joe know about Daniele, soon ruining his plans to let Angelica know, so made a decision, which got Lara setting up Daniele with the task, and explained the consequences if he doesn’t work. It then got Daniele being set up with the task at hand but a loss in signal got them going to plan B, which Daniele escaped, with Joe frustrated with it. Whilst he was waiting for the Ferry, Luca brought in Joe for a chat, and Lara was furious with the failed plan, and quickly spotted something linking to Sofia. Luca then revealed the restaurant is under surveillance, also revealing that the guys on the boat were linked to Di Biasi, only to get watched by Di Biasi himself whilst taking a call. It then got Joe coming back to the office to show the match and how it links to a mafia gang, whilst Angelica getting frustrated with Joe bing late and Elena sensing it, looking at Sofias book and showing support when Angelica tells him, reassuring her it’s her decision. Meanwhile, Joe and Lara were showing Curti Omari Hassan’s tattoos and the ring he was wearing, with the trio going through it, soon deciding not to cut out the shark and assessed something. Soon Angelica was turning her phone off, and Lara reminding Joe to eat dinner got him completely forgetting, not realising he’s being watched. Angelica was understandably furious, soon revealing she wants to stay in Italy claiming Elena and co understand her better than Joe, but soon she calmed down and saw Joe with a picture of him and his mum and explained why she left. It then got Joe admitting he doesn’t want to get damaged, and also revealing Sofia knew and how he helped his life completely and the affect he had when she died, also revealing how the trip was hard but it helped with the good memories soon reconciling with each other. The two making the dessert, which makes them both happy and encouraged her to stay if that’s what she chooses. The next day Elena checked in on Joe, who agreed with Elena about how Angelica staying here was the right thing, with Elena also offering him to stay should he also decide to. Soon Di Biasi’s gang were getting the shark and cutting it open, which was revealed to be a trap to catch them thanks to Joe’s intel from his contact and how the tracker worked. Curti was then offering Joe a transfer to look for Di Biasi, which got him and Lara talking about it, with Angelica wanting to stay and unsure about the offer, bit was happy when Lara revealed that Daniele was finally caught and will face the original charges he was given. Back at the station, Lara was looking at Sofia's file again and found something linking to a mafia book, going to give it him back to find the playing card revealing it’s a mafia heart. It was interrupted by a call from Angelica about the restaurant being on fire and reaching Luca who claims it was his fault, and found another sacred heart card. Something tells me that Joe may reconsider the transfer for the sake of his family. Who knows…

Rivals:

This week I finished the first season of the sauciest show on Disney plus. Episode 6 (which was quite possibly the sauciest episode yet), saw Cameron in Spain to only get flowers and the news from Joyce that Tony won’t be coming as he’ll be dining with princess Diana, frustrated by it. But Rupert then surprised her and then inviting her for dinner, which she agreed to whilst back in rutshire, Monica queried Tony on his stress and gave him some encouragement. Rupert and Cameron then met Nicky, a British ambassador and his partner Mary, having fun during dinner with Cameron recommended seeing a bullfight, giving a secret on bullfighting along with discussing Cameron’s award. Nicky was then telling Cameron about Rupert and his bullfighting days and how being a minister of sport helped him, along with thatchers vote giving something more fulfilling, follows by Rupert turning on the charm, with Cameron sensing it but gave into temptation, soon teasing him. Back in Rutshire, Tony and Monica were talking about Diane and her personality, and how it offers Tony a new opportunity, follows by Rupert take Cameron going back to her hotel, with one thing leading to another along with Tony and Monica having a moment, who then mentioned her plans for the next morning. The morning after then saw Cameron catching Rupert, making out he was looking for a lighter and followed by another moment (which left me feeling cringy) which was interrupted by Cameron needing to work, but was accepting Rupert’s offer to take her to lunch and exploring the city. Rupert was then helping Cameron get ready with a necklace called and Indalo, declining to go with her claiming he has to do some paperwork, soon searching her room for evidence to get copied and swaying staff member Mateo to help, soon getting roped Nicky for dinner. It was then that Nicky revealed Mary is pregnant, with Rupert claiming marriage is the last thing on his mind, but mentioned traits in Taggie and Nicky encouraged him to be happy. There was a funny moment where Rupert was collecting the files and Mateo inviting him out, only for Cameron to come early and resorting to a plan, only just making it and made out he had too much champagne. The morning after then saw Rupert needing to go, making out it was something that happened in England, whilst Tony, Monica and Bas were going over the latest episode, with Bas encouraging him to try something new like a polo game, breaking Archie’s helicopter whilst Cameron headed home to watch Rupert on tv talking about the fight that happened whilst he was away. Soon Taggie and Gertrude were going on a walk and bumping into Rupert, flirting over her roly poly and getting intimate, only to find it was a dream. Tony’s colleague Ginger was then coming to deliver Declan a message with a threat financially, and the O’Hara family having dinner to talk about Caitlin’s boarding school and the bishop, with Rupert coming in to chat about Venturer and what they’ll offer (with a funny moment of the bishop getting drunk). Declan was then reporting to Rupert on his and Freddie’s plan with Enid Spink as a composer with her offer and Wesley Emmons involvement amongst other people like Henry and Hermione and Toshi from Japan with his electric car. Taggie was then asking Rupert in Spain, bonding over Gertrude, giving her a bone and Taggie a jewel. Freddie was then coming over for a letter, with Rupert giving a suggestion and showing the copies of Cameron’s folders and revealed his plan. Understandably everyone was shocked by this and Taggie was heartbroken, saying her piece and Freddie agreeing with Declan. Tony was then talking about Corinium care, with Cameron coming in and giving a pitch, with everyone talking about Diana, with Seb updating them about Rupert. Cameron was then wanting to change Tonys plans, with him wanting to be discreet which she hated, resorting to visiting Rupert, admiring him playing with his dogs with Rupert saying a saucy rhyme that got everyone getting intimate. Soon Cameron was then waking up to find Rupert going to a meeting with his dogs to keep company, followed by exploring the house. Pretty soon Venturer we’re doing their meeting, with Rupert apologising to Taggie for him and Cameron, with Cameron getting a delivery for Rupert himself. he then came home to find Cameron with Venturer merchandise, leaving Rupert on edge and revealing his plans work tony and Freddie and his intentions with Cameron, with Cameron making her thoughts clear. The penultimate that was Episode 7 saw Tony and his crew having a party, letting Archie stay and flirting with Shelley, whilst Seb made a comment on James and Sarah whilst he checks in on Daysee with Deidre giving them suncream, with Cameron praising hi. Declan and co were then getting ready for the launch of Venturer and Ginger was giving the report. It then led to Tony berating Seb and Ginger, with Cameron encouraging for a plan and Hermione breaking her friendship with Monica. Hermione then reported everything back to Declan, who then mentioned Rupert’s plan and going through it and the petition, with the bishop, Enid and Taggie offering to help. Freddie was then the one who reminded Declan and Rupert to stick together after an augrument and Enid was reporting to Maud on how great Declan is. Taggie was ask reminding Rupert not to do things feeling sorry for himself whilst she tried to promote Venturer, soon having a secret cup of tea with Charles as a thank you for helping him on New Year’s Eve. Charles then went onto talking about his health and how Rupert helped out, surprising Taggie, whilst the Corinium team were going to the British television awards with Declan and Rupert also attending in search of new members to join. During this Rupert found Cameron, who thanked her and revealed the plans but made it clear on how she felt, whilst someone called Julian Hathaway inviting Cameron for another part in Yorkshire tv, but declined whilst Declan failed to get harold on side. The award was then taking place with Rupert getting a mention, and Corinium winning the award, with Sarah and James jealous. Tony was them giving a speech with Monica, Archie, Maud, Freddie and Valerie watching and Monica noticing the way tony looked at Cameron when she gave a speech, soon having a moment together. Tony was them heading home to find out from Monica the dog has died with Declan seeing Charles, who invited him to join Venturer after he got wind of what Taggie did, but accepted. Tony and his crew were soon celebrating, with new contacts happening which made Charles anxious and Tony giving instructions to the crew. Charles was then reporting it back to Declan, with Seb catching him out soon making a threat. Tony, Cameron and James were then talking about a marriage programme, with Cameron mentioning Lizzie which got James weary, with Lizzie herself adoring her book whilst James revealed about offering their own show, thinking it’ll be good for her books despite not being comfortable on camera, but reluctantly agreed to do the screen test. Lizzie and Maud were then coming across Bas, with Maud thinking she needed something to make life exciting and Lizzie finding it complicated Charles was then coming to the O’Hara's in disguise to let Declan know about Seb, who then revealed about wanting to join venturer whilst Tony and Cameron were seeing Bas in his bar, who gives him an offer for Corinium but revealed he signed up for Venturer after the polo promise and his word, with Tony thinking Rupert is desperate. It then got Declan wondering if Tony was right, with Maud convincing him to quit, followed by Rupert getting wind from Gerald about the PM thinking he joined the wrong team. Elsewhere, Sarah was wanting to keep out of Paul’s way for the radio show, and a comment about the documentary got her wondering and offered her a strategy with Sarah having a plan in place back at Corinium. Lizzie was then arriving at the studio, overhearing Sarah and James and the screen test was shortly taking place which Cameron liked. Rupert was then overhearing a chat on the radio which got him anxious, but he got an idea which led him to a place where he did showjumping and revealed an injury he had which got Gerald checking in on him and how his old life was gone. In the meantime, Taggie was going to her next job to promote Venturer which was Cotchester Rugby club, which was a rowdy bunch and didn’t go down well, soon bumping into Rupert’s car. Taggie was then opening up about the rugby club when taking her home, offering her to join him on his PM election and she encouraged him he’ll figure things out with the bid. It then got Rupert coming to see Cameron, apologising for the application and offering her Venturer, whilst Lizzie, feeling humiliated, decided to ring Freddie and accepted the offer of him going to lunch with her, whilst Rupert prepares for the day and Tony visiting Cameron, showing her a ring for them to get married. Rupert was then starting the meeting putting up his house as collateral along with the news on Cameron, to secure the win, speaking concerns from everyone. Before they knew it, Cameron decided to join Venturer, who convinced Declan to join, which she accepted but ended up upsetting Taggie, followed by Bas sensing Maud's upset soon sees to her. Rupert and Cameron were then putting their plan in place, and Taggie was questioning Rupert if he can trust her. The episode ended with Monica getting a new dog for the family, whilst Ginger came to see Tony about personal surveillance. The final episode that was Episode 8 saw James and Lizzie doing the show “How to Stay Married” whilst Sarah finds out she’s pregnant and Freddie and Lizzie meet for lunch, with Lizzie declining and Tony and Monica watch, with Tony leaving a message not knowing Cameron is “distracted”. Rupert and Taggie were soon promoting Venturer at Rupert’s parliament event, with Rupert praising her, little did they know that Ginger was getting pictures of Rupert and Taggie to assume the worst when really he was helping her with a seatbelt. Patrick was also meeting Cameron, who declined his advances which again Ginger tried to get evidence, followed by Rupert dropping off Taggie, only to find Seb taking Taggie to the cinema, with Rupert wondering if “Decent” is enough for her, but she insisted on not wanting to wait for her life to happen. At Corinium, Cameron giving a meeting on ideas for Corinium with James not agreeing on a meeting and Ginger giving an idea, but it led to Tony revealing he knew about Charles and Seb and and their work with venturer whilst Tony asks Cameron on her whereabouts. Tony was then visiting Valerie to try and win her over with her house, revealing some of the things she mentioned, whilst Taggie came home to see Malhar and Maud, soon questioning her intentions and remembering about the birth of Taggie. It then got Maud revealing she got offered a part in a play which she turned down, reflecting on her priorities and Lizzie was going to Valerie’s opening and bumping into Rupert, who reassured her their friendship won’t be affected by the Corinium and Venturer way. Lizzie then revealed of James and Sarah’s affair to Rupert, who encouraged her to leave him and also revealed about her and Freddie and bottling it, who comforted her when asking if it’s normal. Freddie and Lizzie soon got talking, who thought that Lizzie was right when she declined originally, whilst James and Valerie doing the show, with Rupert’s dog distracting it, and Cameron finding Tony who was “taking her out” for dinner. This only led to to confronting her about the Venturer application which was Gingers received, and the pair were soon dancing despite people watching. The next morning saw Caitlin ask Taggie about a question in a magazine, with Patrick coming in to ask about an article with her and Rupert and also blurting out about Rupert and Cameron, begging him to leave it. Declan was then giving a meeting about the bid and answered question from Enid, with Rupert soon seeing the article, which causes Declan to get Rupert kicked out and Taggie being furious of Declan’s deal. But they had to put their distances aside quickly as Cameron came  in to reveal Tony saw the application, whilst Tony was watching the show with Monica joining him and mocking her garden, with Tony secretly furious when seeing the connection between Rupert and Cameron. The day of the bidding was then taking place, which also saw Tony gathering Joyce, Cameron and Ginger, with Cameron giving an idea but not knowing he knows about her and Rupert whilst the radio talks about the bidding. There was also a shock when Beattie Johnson from the first episode joined Corinium with the meeting taking place led by lady gosling. Soon, questions were being asked by the public with Tony taking the floor to make a speech and revealing Beattie Johnson is the new host for their show, and Rupert was giving his own speech about knowing people. Tony then gave another speech, with Declan biting back on everyone deserving better than Tony and what TV means and how it brings people together, which touched people even from Corinium. Tony was then lashing out at Ginger whilst Maud congratulates Declan but got frustrated when everyone got distracted, and you know you did well when even the rugby club apologising to Taggie, and commenting Rupert, who got jealous of her and Seb. Rupert and Cameron were then chatting about how Beattie was brought in and not them knowing, whilst Paul asks Lizzie if she can comfort Sarah, not knowing she knows about her and James. It then led to Sarah wondering why Beattie is joining her and the power men have, with Lizzie encouraging her to put themselves first which gig Lizzie inspired, followed by Monica coming into Tony’s office who asks him to come home, chatting him to make a decision to come home and talk about their marriage or she’ll leave. At the O’Haras, Declan and Rupert have made up whilst Bas gossips to Rupert about him and Maud, which pushed his buttons, followed by Freddie updating Valerie on the bud, but has questions on her marriage whilst Enid plays the piano and Declan asks about Maud and Charles coming to the party. Lizzie was then coming to meet Freddie, with Rupert being pleased and they were talking about the bid, with a moment from the two leading to something more (and it wasn’t cringeworthy to see). Charles and Gerald were then checking in on each other, and Charles reassured Gerald about their friendship, where he revealed about the girl to marry. Back at home, Declan found Maud packing for London, with a smaller part Malhar offered and reflected on how she needed to work, with the phone from lady gosling revealing they won the bid, and Maud secretly being pleased. The news announcing the win was watched by Tony, confronting Cameron about her and Rupert, making out she was spying but Tony was begging her to stay. She then revealed she’s resigning and marrying Rupert, which soon got violent, resorting to Cameron hitting Rupert with the trophy whilst the news was on tv and Monica watching on. Rupert was then complimenting on Seb, with Taggie admitting her feelings for him and he also admitted to being trapped in the franchise. But he then also revealed his feelings for her, leading to a charger moment, and with season 2 still to be watched, I can’t wait to see how their connection is explored!

Personal:

Exercise:

This week I think I did better than I have done these past few weeks. This included getting to 10k on the bike at 14mins on Monday, and 13mins 21secs when I got to 10k on Saturday. On that Saturday in particular I managed to get to 15k in a quicker time, still not within the 20 minute mark but better than before. Along with my gym visits and yoga, I would day that this was my best week of exercise yet!

Cooking:

This week I went back to basics with a delicious stir fry. Again it’s moments like this where sometimes the simple meals are the best, and with my grandparents (who help me with the cooking) away on their cruise, I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with someone I made before but need that little bit of supervision. But the family enjoyed it, so I take it as a win!

Survey:

This week I did some more surveys. I mainly did them at the weekend, as it was the best time for me to do them. Despite a technical fault with one of the websites, I managed to get a couple done on one of the website. So I feel like I did a good job completing them.

Darts:

This week I had two more practices of my favourite sport. This included Double 15 after just missing the bullseye and having 1 missed match darts, but giving up at the weekend due to losing my patience and having abit of fatigue (which I’ll mention more about in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”). But the important part was I had the motivation to at least try and have a go, which was enough for me.

Celebrity Gogglebox:

This week I watched famous celebrities giving their thoughts on the latest moments on the boxsets. Harry and Matt aka nitro and legend were talking about chocolate fondant recipe, and Julian was telling Nigel to make sure to keep hydrated and mentioned motorbikes. Max was telling to George about how he of a funny story when talking about the sleep wear, and was Olivia asking Jennifer about her tattoo. Jordan was explaining to Perri about how he likes walks for coffee and cake, and Jennifer was talking to Beattie about her shirt malfunction. Finally, Shaun got Bez a very interesting mask that allowed you to see behind you. They also watched some of the most talked about moments on the boxset. “The 1% Club Kids” saw kids take part to win a trip to Walt Disney world Florida championship, and “Canal Boat Diaries” saw Robbie Cummings walking down a spooky road and getting his boat stuck, and “Rivals” seeing Lizzie getting berated by James, with the Celebrity Goggleboxers feeling sorry for her whilst things get awkward with Freddie’s family, soon meeting Freddie. “Dogs behaving very badly” saw Doberman Troy having a obsession with brushes, with a parrot called Dwayne making a mess not helping, work Graeme’s new game seemed to have done the trick. “Britain’s Got Talent” saw Lewei Yang take to the stage, and the “ITV News” was talking about going to on holiday but at home. Finally, “Scream 7” saw a couple tent the house from the old scream frightening me and the Celebrity Goggleboxers.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

I think this weeks main challenges was having bouts of fatigue towards the end of the week, hence why I didn’t do well darts wise at the weekend. I also thought that it was down to my hay fever, which did wipe me out abit. But still I managed to get my main tasks for this week done, so I was able to rest more at the weekend.

What Have I Learnt This Week? When I film my content and film my auditions, make sure I get ALOT of rest in between!

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
