Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This addition saw me coping with the extreme heat, performing the scratch night which was one of my favourite performances so far, and finishing the show where I got to watch tv of people watching tv. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 18th May 2026:
Professional:
Job Applying:
This week i applied for more jobs in my acting career. One of them was the applications for Autism’s Got Talent, and yes even though it’s a voluntary thing, it may be a good way for me to seek connections with other amazing autistic folk and to open some more doors for me. I should find out by July if I’m selected, so keep an eye out on my Instagram (@theautisticactress) to find out if I get in or not.

Content Posting:
This week I managed to post another bit of content for my social media. These included my Theatre Reel and a speech which was the same politicians speech I posted last week, but tweaked by a lesson practitioner Stella Adler talked about. Click the links below to view both of these videos!

Scratch Night:
This week was a big one as the scratch night was taking place. Did this section I’ll split it into two, so I’ll do one section where I talk about the rehearsal process, and for the other bit I’ll talk about the actual performance.
Rehearsing:
The rehearsal process was tricky for two reasons. Reason 1, the heat, as the initial suggestion to rehearse outside would be a bad idea, so thankfully we made the better suggestion to go online. Reason 2, all of us have different schedules, so it was really tricky to coke together. But we knew that we would want to make it work somehow, and thankfully we did, knowing that on the day before the performance we would tweak it.

The day of the performance saw us doing a technical rehearsal. For us, it was mainly about the ques for the different lightings and sounds, along with adapting the scenery knowing the space was quite tiny. But soon enough we were confident in what we were doing, knowing what we wanted.
Performing:
The performance day was both nerve wracking and exciting at the same time. It was also very hot, which didn’t help at all, but the talent of the performers was second to none, really showcasing the writers material. When it came to ours, I was dreading it due to the heat and the amount of material, but once I settled in, it turned out to be one of my favourite performances I’ve done in a long time. Mainly because this was my sort of style of acting, I was able to let go and have fun, and also because it brings a smile on people faces. Which I think was the most important part of it all. I’ll be doing a separate blog about the whole thing itself, along with a mini TikTok video of the day itself once the footage comes through, so keep an eye out on my personal Instagram @moon_lucy_292 for my blog, and my acting account @theautisticactress for my vlog. But this was a day I definitely won’t forget.
Act On This Podcast:
This weeks podcast was with social media star Jonny Weldon. This session talked about his origins to making his own content and how it helped him land roles in shows like One Day and season 2 of Rivals. I thoroughly enjoyed this session, and let’s just say it sparked a few titles that I quite liked. It was also nice to see an appearance from his cat Stanley, and a trick using AI gave me real food for thought.
PICTURE
Coronation Street:
This week I watched more of the show set in the fictional world of Weatherfield. 14th saw Sean and Lauren talking about Megan, overheard by Maggie and berated them for gossiping, only getting a text about Will from Mel. Megan was then ringing Maggie, who tried to brainwash her again and made him get rid of his statement, making a threat in the process. But Megan’s impact has clearly had an impact on Sam still, as Leanne was ringing Nick about him and the exams, who checked in on him following his encounter with the police. Tim was also reporting back to Steve about Trisha, with Steve reflecting on a humourous story and talking about Tom Selleck, with Will stressing about the exam, and Eva reassuring him it’ll take time. Steve was also reassuring Ben that being a parent isn’t easy whilst Tim checked in on Will, who updates him on Trisha and how it helped him gain closure, which soon followed by Steve inviting him for a curry taking the stress off Ben. Sam was then updating Leanne on the exam, who reminded him to apologise to Toyah, and having another psychotic episode t where he saw Will and Leanne not having caught it, soon wanting to revise in the bistro. Back at the Rovers, Ben caught Maggie cleaning and overheard the conversation on the phone, making out it was a scammer welt her know of Wills whereabouts. It then led to Ben noticing a call from Mel, soon bringing him him down to talk about the night Alan died, questioning Maggie about why she didn’t say anything sooner with Maggie eventually revealing that Megan knew, hence why she told him with Fin and Mel knowing, along with revealing Mel’s deal about Will. At the Bistro, Toyah was giving Sam a snack, with Nick revealing the case will be going to trial and reassured Sam it’s his decision to give evidence, with Will’s voice in his head. The real Will meanwhile was with Steve and Tim at Speed Dhal, making a joke about Steve which put a smile on his face, and Maggie was booking a room at the chariot square, which Debbie recalling her own experience after. Back at the Rovers, Ben confided in Eva with Will coming back, with Ben wondering if it’ll be fixed and Eva reassuring him she did it out of love. At the hotel, Debbie and Maggie were talking about the situation, and complimenting Ronnie, and Debbie was then encouraging her not to give up, and Nick and Toyah were talking about the next supply, not knowing Sam is watching them. Meanwhile, Daniel and Jodie were talking about food, updating him on looking after Lily and convincing Daniel that going back to normal is a good thing. But it didn’t take long in Jodie finding Daniel in a slump, who revealed that Ken convinced him to have a few more days, with Jodie convincing him to have some fun (which didn’t work). Elsewhere, Summer was hiding something on her laptop whilst finding something on the boxset. Todd has little success in speaking to Summer about what’s wrong, but she then went onto revealing that she got a place at university abroad in America, with Todd encouraging her to go for a fresh start after everything that’s happened. 15th saw Ben throwing Maggie’s stuff away, with Eva wondering if it’s the right idea and Maggie overhearing everything, with Steve and Cassie witnessing things, inviting Maggie for a drink. At the corner shop, Dev was noticing Roy analysing the eggs and asking how fresh they are, with Nick and Toyah asking if he could help Sam after Megan’s trial. At No.1, Maggie was explaining to Steve about what happened and why the news of Jim hit him hard, whilst Sam showing Roy an alleged tracking device in the bistro, moving to the office to play a game of chess. Back at the Rovers, Eva was then wondering if Ben is doing the right thing, who was trying to fabricate a story, with Steve trying to convince him to hear Maggie out, causing tension and pushed him to breaking point. Roy was soon talking about a chess story to help calm Sam down when he noticed him swinging in his chair, only to get a call about the cafe whilst Ben confided in Eva about if he’s failing the family’s with Eva giving him a walk-in call. Back in the bistro, Roy was talking to Sam about everything, which was revealed to be another psychotic episode, where he convinced him to do something about it, only the real Roy to come back for the game. He then went onto sharing his concerns with Nick and Toyah, where Nick revealed he put the tracker in his bag out of protection, but Toyah was right in saying that it only made things worse, reminding him to tell Sam the truth. And sooner rather than later, as “Roy” talking to Sam in Victoria gardens about “Nicks true feelings”. Meanwhile, Jodie bumped into Cassie, Dorin and Bertie to talk about sweets before nursery. I don’t know what she’s up to now, but she was soon checking in on Cassie and the children at the precinct, with a call from Steve got Jodie looking after them, secretly giving some sweets. And Kit and Lisa were still working on the case, with him thinking that Gary’s the obvious suspect, but that may not be the case as Lisa revealed that the footage couldn’t be recovered, going back to square one. Speaking of the “prime suspect”, he and Maria were having dinner in the bistro, and wanted to know who did it, with Gary revealing it was a good thing Theo was killed. They then bumped into Kit, soon goading him about who the culprit is. 18th saw Kit making chat to Asha in the corner shop, whilst Todd and Summer get an update, accepting his apology but couldn’t give an update. Back at No 11, Christina convinced George to get a hobby and showing him her cushion, soon finding Summers journal with bad words about Theo, with Summer coming over to take it. It then resulted in her burning her notebook, with George and Christina jumping to conclusions and Todd having her back. But it looked like things were getting worse for her, as Lisa explained to Kit about her wedding photo album, offering Kit to look where he noticed a brooch someone was wearing in Todd’s flat. Meanwhile, Eva, Glenda and Sean found Maggie outside of the Rovers, updating her on Ben whilst Steve and Cassie talk about the situation. And poor Sam was having another psychotic episode with “Roy”, with Leanne coming in oblivious to everything. Sally and Tim flirting was then interrupted by Eva and Maggie arguing, with Sean and Glenda updating them on everything. It clearly went on for a long time, arguing about where Maggie really was and soon getting emotional, whilst Glenda and Sean updating Ben about Maggie with Tim and Sally spectating and despite saying her piece it didn’t work. Meanwhile, Cassie was talking about having a third eye and grilled Jodie about the sweet situation, soon coming home to finding some washing Daniel did, joking with her about one of them, with Jodie making out Bertie missing him and having an accident. Soon Daniel was then “coming back” to see Bertie, only to find out it was the opposite of what Jodie said, berating her for it, with her convincing him she was trying to help, which he eventually understood. 19th (directed by Jason Wingard), saw Chesney and Fiz talking about Roy’s cafe reopening, but was surprised to see it the same but showed a picture that wasn’t there before (but if it makes Roy happy then who am I to complain?). This then got the factory gang talking about it, but sparked concern about Sarah following the attack, resulting in Carla checking in on her, but Sarah was adamant she was up to the job, whilst Roy was having another game of chess. Elsewhere, Summer bumped into Lisa, asked if she could answer a few questions, resulting in Todd getting off the phone whilst declining George’s offer about lunch when questioning him about Summer, whilst Todd flipped it about Christina. Summer was then getting questioned about the brooch, claiming that she doesn’t know, and when Todd found out Summer and Lisa, they claimed it was a routine thing. Things soon got heated when Summer was upset with Todd, with George apologising again with Summer updating them about a brooch she wore to the wedding, explaining her theory which left George feeling uneasy. Carla then gave Lisa advice by trying to make her look at things from another angle, with George getting a grilling from Nina about Summer. After Todd went to the shops, Summer corrected George about it being a casual chat but George soon revealed that he saw her on the night walking in such a rush. Meanwhile, Eva and Ollie were preparing for dinner following Ben’s test results, with the mood ruined when Ben announced about Megan was out and on bail. It then got Eva telling Ben to make the best out of a positive situation, and Ollie also told Ben to look at the perspective after Maggie comes. Soon, the family were having the meal with Maggie trying to make light conversation, but a comment on Megan got Ben revealing the truth about what’s happened, with Maggie’s giving him advice, with Ben also revealing about how she killed Alan, with Will and Ben wondering if it’s true. Eva then found Ben in the garden wallowing in self pity, encouraging to support him. Elsewhere, Jodie was reflecting on her moving out with Daniel learning a few things, offering to go to Roy’s as a thank you, with the two wondering about the colour, whilst Nina mentioned about some stuff said about him online from a person called “Truthteller” with Roy advising him not to respond. Jodie also advised Daniel to not respond to the comments, neither Adam giving advice on who was behind the account. 20th (directed by Jason Wingard), saw Christina having her suspicions whilst Summer flipped the question on George, Nina checking in on Summer in the cafe whilst whilst Gary also checks in on her. It then got Summer confiding in Gary and reassured her about Nina and Asha having her back, with Maria coming and assuming Summer is the mains suspect, with Gary feeling bad. Kit and Lisa’s colleague Warren brown was then coming in to give evidence of Christina’s whereabouts, whilst Todd was trying to get hold of Summer and found out by George and Christina about her whereabouts, only for Lisa to get Christina in for questioning. Nina and Asha checking in on Summer to apologise again whilst Christina came back and acted casual about her second statement, and soon asked about Summer again, with George going behind her back reporting to Lisa about her. There was also trouble for Sarah, as she was asking Carla about the gangs antics whilst Michael informs her of an error she made. She was even more stressed when trying to call Kit and telling everyone off, with a comment from Izzy pushing her buttons. But it was good kf Michael when he was telling Izzy and kirk about a world record holder to help him forget about Craig, with Carla coming in to get ready for a date with Lisa, only to find Sarah getting drunk (possibly escape what happened to her). Meanwhile, Jodie and Daniel were at the bistro, wondering that it can’t be Megan, with Jodie trying to get him to sway to David, who was wondering to Nick if Sarah was over exaggerating over the attack. Daniel then accused David of being Truthteller, with David showing proof. The two were then coming back with Jodie taking care of Bertie and convincing him to stop searching for the culprit, with bodies suggesting to stay longer and help with Bertie, which he accepted and how she was the one behind the account. 21st (directed by Jason Wingard) saw Christina on the phone to someone, with George coming in after not sleeping great and revealed about how he told Lisa about Summer’s whereabouts, and when Christina gave her thoughts Summer overheard them which got her agitated. Nina was then checking in on Summer again whilst Todd finds her running away to America, begging her to at least talk it out where she reported what she overheard Christina say, telling her that running away won’t help and soon putting the blame on him, overheard by Christina. Summer was then opening up about what she overheard, stating why she has to leave, but went anyway and apologised to Todd, being reminded it was Theo who caused it. This only led to Summer to get arrested with Sarah finding out about it. Meanwhile, Maggie gave a comment on the tea which she liked to Nina, reporting to her on Ben. After Kirk was having a humorous conversation with Tim (which was funny), Tim saw Will stressed, offering to go for a chat with him. Eva then spotted Ben with the accounts, thinking a holiday might help, only to get a call about Susie being in a fight after Chesney and Gemma got sweets from Brian, only for them to get a call about Bryn. Whilst that was happening, Will opened up to Tim about everything, giving him some advice, leading to Ben and Will talking and apologising to each other, promising to give him some space. Eva was soon bringing back Susie and what Bryn said to her, and wondering how Bryn knew about it. Ben was then thanking Tim for the help with Will, with Maggie telling Ben she talked to her and expressed her concerns, and we all need a sister like Susie, with Will thanking her for having his back. Elsewhere, Izzy was talking to Sean about Gary’s behaviour, with Sean joking that it was Michael, and Sarah giving her thoughts, and a comment about Kirk and his dog got Sarah losing her temper again. It then got Carla telling Michael to take charge knowing that Sarah is secretly not up to it, reminding Sarah that she needs to take a step back, and then reported it back to Lisa who was looking at the case. The factory gang talking about Sarah, with Michael reminding them of her attack and Kirk having a interesting story to say (which did lighten the mood). Finally, 22nd (directed by Jason Wingard) saw Summer being held in a cell, clearly overwhelmed, soon getting interviewed, with the brooch having blood on it, and when going through the night, she mentioned about Tyrone seeing her. And Tyrone getting in the mood being interrupted to see Lisa asking about Summer, only for him to realise he didn’t say anything. At the Rovers, Glenda and George were talking about Summer, with Christina coming back and revealed about sticking his nose in it, with Todd berating them for betraying her. Glenda was then encouraging Christina to talk to Todd knowing Summer wouldn’t kill Theo, but it wasn’t enough, and Fiz was quizzing Tyrone about if he saw Summer, and a flashback revealed he did see her. Todd was then reporting back to Sarah on George reporting Summer, and soon she was having a chat with Gary who encourages her to focus on herself, noticed by Maria. A flashback saw the full confrontation between Theo and Summer, where he made a thread and found Summers brooch. In the present, Lisa came in to report to Summer on what Tyrone said, soon being given the next steps where it’ll go to court. Meanwhile, Bethany saw Daniel to check in on him, only for Ben and Eva to check in on him too, revealing that he’s leaving his phone to avoid the trolls for his own sanity. But soon Ben was getting a call to say Will didn’t turned up for exams and Bethany and Daniel offered to help find him. Bethany then bumped into Will at the precinct, recalling her experience with Nathan to get through to him which seemed to have done the trick, also opening up about her stoma. But an accidental move got Will getting the wrong end of the stick, with Bethany coming to see Ben and Eva in the rovers, and talking about how Megan has impacted him. Daniel in the meantime apologised to Nick for the accusations, and Jodie was then claiming it’s “her birthday”, making out Shona forgot. But she soon got caught when Shona and David coming into the bistro where she lied about her birthday, with Daniel finding it funny and the sisters having fun, soon apologising to David again and soon he was getting warned about Jodie.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw one resident in a serious situation after the crash, one resident off on a new adventure, and two lovers coming back together, all of them directed by David Crowley. Mondays episode saw Charlie preparing for his court hearing, but not before seeing Caleb to apologise about the accident, with Caleb flipping it to wonder who’s got the harshest punishment. And whilst drowning his sorrows in the dog (probably not the best idea) Beth teared a strip into him, which was thankfully stopped by Theresa. Caleb meanwhile confided in Misbah about life after he comes home and not wanting to be a burden, and we all need someone like Misbah to give life advice without being too cringy. And it looked as though Beth may be considering to slowly forgive Charlie after explaining to Jonah about seeing the genuine remorse in him, but at court himself, it led to Charlie having a panic attack and opening up about how he doesn’t want he same fate as his mum. Darren had every right to tear into Beth about her interaction with Charlie before the court, and he was right to say it may have made things worse, as Nancy alerted everyone that Charlie went missing. Oh dear… elsewhere, Liberty caught Theresa and Dodger in an awkward position (romantically speaking), and opened up about a failed date and also missing Sienna. But she was soon dragged by Theresa for a girly day with Myra and Beth, recalling a memory of her making music in New Zealand. With Myra suggesting that she’d go back and bring Faith with her, and with Jessamy Stoddart due to leave the show for maternity leave, something tells me it may be the beginning of a new start for Liberty. And for the McQueens, Mercedes was getting more and more uncomfortable when she spots Jenson finding wedding venues, despite making it clear she doesn’t want to get married. Even though she downplayed the situation to Warren, I think she was starting to realise he was right about Jenson when things took abit of an unsettling turn. But even I could understand her frustration when she soon found a camera that was planted by Warren, claiming he was only doing it to protect her, and something tells me that Jenson is not finished with either Warren or Mercedes yet. Tuesdays episode saw the Osbornes being given the news about Charlie going straight to prison should due to missing his hearing, which left Darren worries about his mental well-being after the last time his mental health reached breaking point. Nancy then came clean about keeping Charlie in the school, knowing it would be safer than doing a runner. And Frankie bumped into Caleb and revealed her involvement in the crash, pleases that Caleb was able to forgive her knowing that being angry wouldn’t help. It also got Frankie imploring Darren and Nancy to find Charlie sooner rather than later, knowing that the longer it goes on the more strain it’ll cost for the family. And she was right, as Dodger was on the hunt for Charlie and is on the verge of getting caught. But that’s not the only thing on Dodgers mind. He was quite shocked when Liberty revealed her move to New Zealand, and despite declaring she’s crazy to do so and that it was all rather sudden. accepted her blessing, and I liked how the twins were also happy for her about going away if it makes Liberty happy. And theresa will reassure her that Dodger and the twins will be fine, also being given the keys to the florist. All I can say is I hope that Jessamy is having a brilliant maternity leave, and whether she returns or not, I hope Liberty will have the fresh start she needs. And Mercedes offered to help Tony with the bar whilst he sorts out funeral arrangements as a way to distract herself from Warren and Jensen, not knowing that the pub itself was booked for an ENTIRE rugby team. But thankfully despite declining his offer for a drink, she eventually got warrens help, whilst Jenson paid a visit to see Mercedes, only for Myra to confront him. Whilst she understood his reasons, she also reminded him to give her the space she needs. But Myra could sense she liked Warren more, and encouraged her to go for it, which she did. But with Jenson looking on, something tells me it won’t end well. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Dodger still looking for Charlie, only for Darren and Nancy to intervene, and whilst they managed to get away with it this time, Frankie knew about the truth. This completely detailed her plans with Caleb, and she soon had to divert the plan, making out that Pearl had a “stomach bug”, which led to Beth confronting Darren and Nancy about where Charlie really is, and I’ll be honest she’s starting to get on my nerves now, and I wish she would take a leaf out of Caleb and Jonah’s book and have some maturity about the situation. Although I don’t think going to revealing it at the funeral is not the best idea. And speaking of funeral, Tony was struggling to come up with ideas for his eulogy to Diane. I liked how he was talking about the most memorable times which were simply but happy, but also how he felt he let her down. Jack was also remembering his late wife Frankie, and how you can have life after love in the words of Cher (who was also a tribute to this singer). I’m glad that Tony finally managed to find the words, but after Dee Dee secretly reads the letters Diane left, and after seeing spoilers, something tells me it’s going to be a bumpy ride for her. And Warren and Mercedes are finally happy now that the twins have moved in with him, banking it clear to Jenson he wants nothing to do with him after he tried to talk things out again. Theresa also asked Dodger about moving in so that everyone is under one roof, which he agrees to, although I sense that Cleo still has strong feelings for him, so things may be getting a little bit awkward. I think he was right to move out of the flat, as Jenson has no problem making himself feel at home.
Eastenders:
This week saw a wedding with drama, a Mitchell brother leaving and a shocking diagnosis for one resident. Mondays episode saw George bringing Eddie to Knight fusion for dinner, with Gina still making her feelings on him looking after his dad clear. But she’s soon had to look after him when she informed him that Nicola had to take Ivy to hospital after getting a temperature, being forced to come home. And Oscar was confiding in Penny about his feelings for both Jasmine and Josh, making the situation even more complicated when Jasmine recommended to bring Josh to a rave after she couldn’t. He soon roped Will into coming, but was soon on the verge of not going after Billy asked him to take Janet to see Honey. Preparations were also in place for Vicki and Ross’ wedding, with Mark living with them following the events of last episode, telling him to sort things out with Grant. She also queried Kathy about selling he dads ring for the honeymoon, which she eventually did, pleasing Ross so that they can finally go on a honeymoon. But I have a feeling the secret about her and Zack will be exposed before that will happen, particularly when Barney mentioned that Zack was on a date (hence why he took the morning from the Vic off). That person was intact Whitney Dean, updating him on her and the kids. I can only imagine zacks upset when she revealed she’s seeing someone, but I think that’s a smart move , particularly not knowing what Zack had been up to. And let’s just say Mark was having a bad day. Max was certainly hot on his tail after spotting him and Lauren with the car, and he and Cindy were soon confronting the Mitchell’s. But Grant decided that he would move back to Portugal, but not before Linda gave him some advice about how to build bridges with Mark after he helped her with Johnny, but his idea to invite him to Portugal didn’t help. Lauren could also sense Marks unease, reminding him not to panic, and soon the launch party was taking place and all seemed well. But of course Max and Cindy had to ruin it by confronting Mark about the arson case. But Grant decided to step up for his son and take the fall, knowing it might be the last thing he needs to do before he goes away. Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from Grant taking the blame, with Max still wanting to call the police anyway, but Lauren managed to sort it out by getting the Mitchell’s to pay. But it didn’t stop Max calling the police, and after a goodbye dinner that went as well as can be expected (which was quite entertaining), they had to make their escape fast. But not before Grant and Mark had an honest talk about everything. Whilst Mark doesn’t refer to Grant as his dad, he was appreciated for what he did for him, so at least they’re parting on good terms. Grant also told him to be careful about his feelings for Lauren, and thanks to her stalling, with the help of Phil, Grant and Sam (who decided to come with Grant to Portugal), made their escape. Elsewhere, it was the night before Ross and Vicki’s wedding, and Zack was wallowing in self pity when Whitney mentioned about her new man, and declined barneys suggestion about seeing a therapist, when really he was just concerned. Kat also played also played catch up with Whitney, updating her on how Zack took the news but was pleased to see how happy she was. Vicki was getting emotional explaining why she cheated on Ross with Zack and how Zack had helped her through her ordeal with Joel. Thankfully Kathy was on hand to give her advice, and soon the ladies were with her to celebrate her last night of freedom, but Kat updating her about Zack and Whitney made her feel uneasy, and also made her boundaries with Zack clear after she declined a gift from him. Ross was also having a drink with Ian and Harvey, where Ian gave some of his interesting tips on married life, but Ross was surprisingly pleased that Vicki cheating on him only brought them closer. I was also not expecting Sharon to come home, surprising Vicki which was lovely, but with Zack mentioning the news and also questioning Ross if marrying Vicki is the right thing, I have a feeling this wedding will be one to remember for the wrong reasons. Elsewhere, Penny ended up taking Wills ticket for the rave, with Will himself just missing them and confided in Jasmine about how whilst he loves Janet, he needs some time for himself every now and then (which is understandable), and the talk of love at both Todd and Vicki’s last night of freedom got Ian and Elaine having “fun with each other”… and Eddie was definitely pushing Harry’s buttons when he took over from Gina, and I can see why gina doesn’t want anything to do with Eddie and the treatment he cashed Eddie when he was young, with Harry making it clear of his thoughts of him after opening up on Gina helping him with his addiction. Wednesdays episode saw the day of Vicki and Ross’ wedding taking place, but of course it was Eastenders so there’s bound to be a lot of drama. And it all started when Zack was trying to convince Ross not to marry Vicki, wondering if he could trust him, and him suggesting to Vicki to reveal the truth got her adamant she doesn’t want him at the wedding. To maker matters worse, she and Ross ended up having to get on the tube to the wedding after Ian’s transport was cancelled (assuming because of Ian and Elaine having a passionate evening together) and eventually managed to get there in style. But Ross noticing behaviour in people like Mark and Kathy got him suspicious, and soon during the ceremony itself, he eventually worked out it was Zack who Vicki slept with. Oh dear… but that wasn’t the only drama happening. Sharon wanted to know about what’s happening when catching up with Linda (and maybe not to mention about her and Grant), and Denise was wanting to keep her appointment quiet for the time being, making out to Jack it was to do with money after losing her temper when Amy had an incident with her dress. And with Patrick going to Scotland to see Sophie and the kids, something tells me she’ll be keeping her life changing news to herself for a while. And whilst keeping an eye on Ivy, Nicola made her feelings once again to Eddie clear after the comments he made about Gina, showing his racist behaviour clearly hasn’t changed. Will was also feeling the strain when opening up about how he wants to live his life, which was understandable for Billy and Honey, and promised that they would help him so he can do whatever he wanted to do. But the biggest thing to happen outside of the wedding was Ravi making progress to eventually coming home, which Priya ignored the letter from. They definitely made up for “lost time” after Ravi opened up about the therapy he was given and how it worked, making Priya pleased about how much he took on. But the mention of the children tells me that his recovery isn’t over just yet… finally, Thursdays episode saw the continuation of Ross finding out about her affair with Zack, and let’s just say that it all kicked off. Maybe Zack was genuinely in love with Vicki, but it came at the wrong place at the wrong time, explaining to him at the man shed on why she did what she did, claiming how Joel affected her confidence, and that at the time Zack helped her build that confidence back up. But Sharon came to the rescue to remind him that even though what she did was wrong, she followed her heart. And some additional words of wisdom from Patrick got Ross changing his mind and going back down the isle to marry Vicki. I also liked how mature he was when stating he’ll get revenge on Zack, but a healthy one, and I’m also glad Phil and Sharon are in good terms still. But there was plenty of drama outside of the wedding. Following their passionate reunion, Priya was shocked to see Ravi going away, reading the letter he sent her ages ago, and it looked like they were over for good following this. We also saw Honey allows to be discharged with Bea being there with her, soon asking her why she did what she did, ending up coming home to surprise Billy, Will and Janet (where Billy was being the good dad he was in reminding Will he’ll step up when it comes to Janet). And it looked like Bea will be living with them once again where despite still not trusting her, Honey needed all the help she can get. But one person who has a difficult journey ahead was Denise, and it all started where at the wedding she asked Phil if he could look after Raymond after mentioning that she didn’t feel well. Yolande was also showing concern, with Denise making out it was the stress of Amy’s dress situation from the previous episode. But her trip to get some “fresh air” soon turned into a hospital visit, where the doctor gave her the devastating news about her blood cancer diagnosis. With “The Night That Everything Changes” next week, Denise’s shocking news along with George having to leave the wedding early to see to Eddie will be the start of a turbulent week for the residents of Walford.
Amandaland:
This week I watched more of the comedy set in Soha. Episode 3: Soha Sofa, saw Amanda coming home from a trade show in Birmingham which she enjoyed, now revealing to be a brand ambassador; with a new sofa coming her way. Felicity was trying to get clarity on Manus’ language, whilst getting ready for a date. Mal was then helping Amanda with the old sofa whilst finding a used condom, which he found entertaining, suspecting it could be Georgie and Darius, with Mal and JJ explaining how they separated the “birds and the bees” chat and asking about the old sofa. At the football game, Amanda was showing Anne and Abs the sofa, having another comment and refuses to sell it to the tip. Fi was then updating everyone on Della and found a place through chatGPT, with Anne having a unique view on it, but Fi gave some ideas for her. Felicity was soon coming back from her “coffee” and persuaded Amanda to join the dating app, showing the man she went on a date with. Amne was then telling a story of her husband and Amanda asked about Darius after noticing him and Georgie, with Anne making it a mission to talk to him. Back at home Mal was trying to make Amanda see she needs to sell the sofa, with Bobby the dog marking his territory on it, and a customer only taking an interest to a lamp. Della was then coming home with Morten going out, and Bobby the dog only interrupted their alone time, with della falling asleep after Fi was sorting him out. Amanda then found Georgie and co on the sofa, with Georgie getting the wrong end of the stick when Amanda tries to ask about her and Darius, who declined that the condom was hers. Amanda was then wondering if Felicity was the one who used it, whilst Anne was using chatGPT to help with her chat to Darius. The next day, Amanda was trying to get Mal to apologise when the sofa went, soon asking Felicity about her and the coffee man, who revealed that the condom was not hers with Amanda concerned about her health. Elsewhere, Anne was trying to talk to Darius about him and Georgie, using chatGPT to help but resulted in Darius to leave the car (which I don’t blame him). Fi meanwhile suggested to take Bobby for a walk before football, with Morten declining to do it and Fi doing it solo after Della wants a nap, and Amanda was updating Anne on the mystery, soon asking chatGPT for more advice. Amanda was also more concerned about Felicity’s sexual health and asked about who’s it is (with Fi giving a unique spin on Agatha Christie), and she was soon asking Manus, who revealed it was his but just curious about it only to have it flushed down the toilet. Her day only went from bad to worse when Amanda got a penalty notice about her old sofa which was in the local park, and Della offered to Fi take for lunch, but got into a debate about Bobby the dog, who got Bobby distressed (a little bit like Margo when she gets stressed). Darius also refused to watch sex education with Anne, with ChatGPT praising Anne for simply being a good mother, whilst Amanda eventually letting Mal help her move the sofa, finding the packet of the condom, realising that it was hers all along after recalling an event which Mal found funny. Later on, Fi found Della, Morten and Bobby together, soon ruining the moment with a high quality trouser sound (which was entertaining), and Darius was reassuring Anne about how he’ll be careful when it comes to sex whilst Anne asked about a “rusty trombone” (which was quite funny). The episode ended with the new sofa finally coming, with Felicity coming over and Georgie revealing she wants protection which she accepted (even thigh she got embarrassed by a follow up), Felicity revealed her problem was something normal for her age, soon teasing her about it. Episode 4: Big House, saw Amanda on the phone to talk about the CCTV footage, ignoring a customer at her “collab”. At the football game, Anne and Amanda were then talking a lot Mals new shoes with Anne having a view on Ned being paid to babysit with Anne having an idea. We also saw Fi having to look after her friends dog and Anne telling a story linking to Fi’s friend got them trying to find the address, with that address being the one Amanda had the photo. She was then coming with Fi to feed Aslan the cat, who liked the decour of the house despite it needing some home improvements. It was then followed Fi getting a a picture from Mal of Amanda, and then revealed the owner is leaving. Wanting to get in her hood books and get first refusal, Amanda was then offering to take over the car feeding duties. Meanwhile, Ned was wanting some more money and was questioning Mals money saving tips, bringing in JJ in to help, whilst Anne was heading out but not paying Darius to babysit, cancelling their night out. Amanda was hen coming in to look at the new house whilst having a unique way to look after Aslan, whilst JJ was giving some tips and Mal checking his statements from the takeaway. Amanda was visiting the owner of the house in the hospital, with Fi being present and exaggerating on her hands, complimenting the house to try to get into her good books. Back at Anne’s house, Darius was offering a deal whilst Anne gets milk, which didn’t happen when she refuses to pay him again, and Daniel was telling Amanda off for her “collab”, who was working on her ideas for a new kitchen, with Felicity coming in but turned her down to see Elspeth, who was curious about her relationship with her. Amanda was then showing Elspeth a photo montage of Aslan, and exaggerating her love of Brahms to get into her good books, bringing in the subject of the house, eventually offering her first refusal. Amanda then revealed to Mal about moving house to the one in the corner, with a plan on how to get it, and Mal talking about his dream. At the football game, we then saw Fi having another dog at the football match, with Abs suggesting she’d make a business out of it, and Felicity coming in and ignoring Amanda. We also saw Mal having lots of stuff and wanting to save money to make his own curry, with JJ getting a call from a bank and felicity revealing a scam that got him worried. And it was safe to say that Mal’s curry did not go to plan whilst Abs finds JJ early in the morning with the bank statements. The builder was then coming to Elspeth’s house to show Amanda the works, lying about Aslan the cat and wanting to make some improvements, only for Elspeth to come in. It then got Amanda revealing her true feelings about the designs, but how she complimented her for changing it to make it feel like home. JJ was then realising UK Terpin was an internet connection but managed to set up the new internet, with a bigger contract, whilst Amanda made out the cat was hayfever, soon revealing Elspeth’s house despite having an allergy to Aslan. It then got Amanda wondering if Felicity was jealous after allegedly not coming to see her when she was in hospital, so. showing a picture of how she was at the hospital. Meanwhile, Anne was going out to get Ned to babysit Darius, due to him being cheaper whilst Amanda rings the doctors about her allergies, only for Fi to announce Elspeth died after slipping on a cat bowl, but was secretly happy about the house.
A Taste For Murder:
This week I watched more of the crime drama where it invoked a lot of food. Episode 3: La Calzione Perfetta, saw Two women exploring some caves late at night, with a clue to “look beneath the tigers eyes” revealing it was all part of a murder mystery event with staff members Santino and Andrea (who were also a couple) giving them a prize. Meanwhile Joe and Angelica going to watch a film at a festival in Naples which was suggested by Daniele, promising not to lie to her and wondered if he’ll listen, making a change. Joe also revealed he has a debrief on a murder case and talking about Sofia, with Martin Laxman coming over to congratulate Joe, and wanting to help his niece Camilla with a murder mystery as part of his achievements. With Daniele, Angelica revealed why she likes the 50s, with Daniele making out his mum is ill and she was declining his offer to go to a party. Sadly for Gennaro and Elena, the rain caused the restaurant to close, with Luca having a date and Gennaro convincing Daria to come with Joe and offering a suit to go. This got Elena wondering if Gennaro setting Joe and Daria up was a bad idea incase it was too soon after Sofia, but Gennaro reminded her that his heart will mend. The two were then arriving at the event, with Mr Oscar Miller and Me Murray meeting Joe and also Camilla. In the building, Joe noticed a Scorsese book of Santino’s, with Andrea revealing about his type 2 diabetes and also his health, along with the financial trouble of the murder mystery and wanted to avoid Camilla, and the woman herself came in for a heated exchange which was overheard by Joe and Santino. Soon when it calmed down, Joe and Daria were talking about Angelica, with Daria talking about her divorce and her sister, with Miller and Murry arguing, but deciding to let their hair down. Soon Santino was asking about Andrea and Daria was pleased with the turnout, but it soon turned bad when Santino finds Andrea dead. Back at the family home, Daniele encouraged Angelica to come to the party, telling her to “live a little” whilst Joe apologises to Daria and staying behind to investigate with Gianni and Lara. It was then that Joe noticed sand on the book, and an odd pattern within the crime scene, whilst Daniele and Angelica were hanging out at the beach, interrupted by a strange sound, which was supposed to be for Angelica going back. Back at home, Joe was also hearing a noise where it was Gennaro, revealing he and Elena have argued, giving his wage to help as they’re family, which Gennaro accepted. Angelica was then getting back to her room with the help of Daniele, making it just in time for Joe to check in on her. The next morning, Joe met Lara to say she needed to interview him as he was a witness with Camilla coming in, and Max was also saying she’s a suspect and Joe pointing out her change of clothing. Joe and Lara were then going over a theory for Camilla, and Gianni giving the tox report to show it was a heart attack and his diabetes having an impact of Andrea’s death, with Lara suggesting a blood thinner. The work gang were having food at the restaurant, with Gennaro explaining to Elena who it was and talking about a transfer, and Joe, Lara and Curti were going over the case again, with Elena mentioning a film reference directed by Scorcese, prompting them to talk to Santino. Santino himself revealed of a court case taking place and getting interviewed about his search history to revealed an old insulin tube, wanting to use it to keep Andrea to himself and the revealed of some pills got him arrested. This got Joe being unsure if Santino was the real culprit, and the reminder of every detail mattering got them searching again. Joe then bumped into an actor Murray and made a comment about the launderette shortly followed by Elena finding Joe looking at clues and the history of the villa, where he revealed to Elena he’s been taken on as a consultant as a distraction, with Elena also making a comment about it. Pretty soon, Gennaro was waking up Joe early to go fishing as his way of thanking him for his finances (and there could’ve been worse views to wake up early to) and encouraged him to expand, and noticed that he clearly struggles to talk about Sofia, motivating him to learn how to talk about it but soon catching a Parrot fish. A clue about distraction technique from Gennaro got Joe to a realisation, with proof that Camilla wasn’t the culprit, and a picture of Joe and Daria proved that Santino wasn’t also the culprit. It then got the gang turning the attention to Oscar Miller, using the technique of distraction display to go to a cave which Oscar was in, and the two succeeded in catching Oscar in the act, getting interviewed and showed his medical form and also linking it to an article he found and frankly admitting it. Back at the restaurant, Joe was updating Camilla on the case and the blood he had, and sadly was not being able to see Gennaro. Joe was soon catching up with Daniele and trying to make a joke, but he had his blessing, for now. But little do they know that he’s linked with the dealer from the man in the restaurant, covering it up to Angelica and heading for their date. The episode ended with Elena being suspicious of the people at the table of regulars. Episode 4: Arancini Croccanti, saw two women names Sadie and Luisa finding a chance to dive with Saide's husband Nick, with one of them hesitant, but eventually joining them, soon finding Nick dead. Joe and Angelica were ask going on a boat trip with Luca, enjoying the time they’re having together, but soon getting frustrated when Joe checks out the crime scene and Luca reminded her that he would’ve be still in prison without his help, reassuring Angelica that he and the family are there for her if needing support. Joe was then reporting back to Elena about a prehistoric shipwreck and who died, with Elena talking to him of another couple, and Gennaro was setting up Angelica for running the restaurants whilst Joe went for his run the next day, reporting it Lara who convinced him he’s a workaholic but will look at it. We also saw Angelica pushing Daniele back after things got too passionate, noticing him with suspicious activity, soon turning to Luca later that evening to ask about his smuggling redemption and asked for advice on Daniele, interrupted by Elena but didn’t mention Daniele, and soon she was working at the restaurant whilst Joe looks at scuba diving accidents. But Elena interrupted the investigation to get him help with the dishwasher, but gave the all clear from Gennaro to let him go. Joe was then asking about the regulars, and noticed Angelica uncomfortable after one of them made a horrific comment, leading to Joe stepping in after a horrible move was made to angelica, getting himself in an awkward situation. Elena was then bringing him into the kitchen after Di Biasi invited him for a drink, and he was theint working out what’s going on, with Gennaro declining it thinking it’s complicated, with Luca revealing who he was and how he’s linked to him. Angelica was also opening up about how she was scared for Joe bless her, whilst he and Lara met to find the diving drowning suspicious, and asking about Rocco Di Biasi where they were part of an ongoing case, but got him to turn the attention to Sadie Mayweather, the wife of Nick. Sadie was then getting interviewed about Nick’s cryptocurrency scam and talking about her background with Luisa, with Leo being the stepson of Luisa. Later on, Joe and Lara were having a drink, with a few men spotting her, who wants to make them feel uncomfortable and invited him to dance and encouraged him to live his life despite grieving for Sofia and also about the Di Biasi case. Lara was then bringing back Joe to a place until the ferry comes back, declining his pass knowing it was grief and the alcohol talking The two of them were then coming into work hungover, with Gianni getting reports, getting joe to look through them, also praising Lara for going to work hungover whilst they examine the house for Luisa Zenati, and finding Leo frustrated about when he takes his father. Luisa was then opening up about Leo’s father and asked about the drowning, linking to the kit that was causing a problem. Lara and Joe were then reflecting on if it was an accident, but was overheard Leo, and Lara was then giving a paper from Massimo Costa and ordered him to go the next morning so he can get rest. Joe then got more curious in finding the restaurant closed early to find Gennaro injured, going to a place to talk about a food linking to his late Nonno. It then led to Gennaro revealing his injuries were a threat to stop joe, but he soon got distracted in a good way when Lara updated joe about the crypto, and a comment on the other camera got Sadie interviewed again, with Gianni getting the tox reports about how he drowned with Gianni going through the list again. Whilst that was happening, Daniele was grabbing Angelica, apologising for his behaviour and soon asking him about the drugs, who soon revealed about his “side hustle” and soon convinced her he will stop. Joe was then wondering if Sadie will be ruled out of the murder, with Gianni giving another report of Louisa’s married name, getting some sauce and a mention of swapping labels gave them a realisation about what Nick was breathing. Luisa was then being confronted about it, only to be interrupted by Leo and his father, with Joe noticing the sharpie pen in his pocket. This got Leo getting interviewed about how he was really intending to target Luisa with Joe using a softer approach with him, and Leo eventually as opening up about his father wanting to come home and Lara and joe stopping Luisa. The two were then reflecting on Leo’s intentions with his father, where she admitted to like working with him, apologising got him being a workaholic, and was offering look at Sofia’s file for a fresh pair of eyes along with inviting him to take down Rocco Di Biasi. The episode ended back at the restaurant, airy Joe interrupted Elena and Gennaro’s “alone time” to talk about Di Biasi, who revealed that he’s extorting him money to open a bar in town, which Sofia planned it, and how he kept having “interest payments”, trying to make Joe see the reality of the case.
Rivals:
This week I watched more of the sauciest show on Disney plus. Episode 3 saw the festive season approaching with Gertrude the dog messing up the tree whilst Rupert seduces a woman called Natalie. Caitlin was then reading a letter from Taggie’s old flame Ralphie and revealed he was going to a party, followed by Caitlin asking an interesting question, with their brother Patrick coming over after breaking up with his ex, teasing Taggie in the process. We also saw Rupert ringing his ex Helen, who it’s clear that l they have tension, whilst the O’Hara’s were listening to the radio whilst Lizzie brings eggs with Caitlin asking another interesting question, teasing her about Ralphie and asking about Rupert, with Lizzie making sure Taggie spends time with Ralphie. At Corinium, Seb was wondering if Rupert will be interviewed, with Declan suggesting to work smarter, with Charles revealing his mother was not well and asking about the party, with Tony making sure Cameron stays at the office for his own protection. I can only imagine the shock when Declan came home to find preparations for the party, grilling Maud about how many people she’s invited, claiming it’s for everyone’s own good. Mrs Makepeace was then helping Taggie whilst Taggie herself questions Maud on why she’s placed herself with Rupert (with Caitlin swapping seats) and Declan questioning about a cameo and Shelly taking a liking to Patrick. Taggie was then getting ready for Ralphie, only for him to bring his new girlfriend Georgina, making her heartbroken, but Patrick and Caitlin were reassuring her she’s better than him. Soon everyone turning up, with Valerie wondering how many people Maud invited, and Tony was reminding Freddie to celebrate when mentioning anime and cooking competitions. Paul and Sarah were also coming in whilst Charles signals his lover, and James flirting with someone else in front of poor Lizzie whilst Taggie watches Ralphie, and Maud making a grand entrance, reminding Declan on why he fell for her and Bas feeling abit jealous. The camel rider Malhar Vernan was then asking about why she moved to London, introducing him to Tony whilst Freddie as sneaking a chocolate bar for him and Lizzie, trying to make a joke about her ripped tights. And of course Rupert is as making his entrance with Sarah getting jealous and Tony stopping Declan and getting him to wait until his show. Back at Corinium, Cameron and Seb were working on the show whilst Deidre gives a analogy in New Year’s Eve, and Cameron giving her take on it. Back at the O’Hara’s, everyone was having dinner with Rupert asking Caitlin about Taggie, finding out he got her the bracelet whilst Monica chats to Declan about work, reassuring him about Rupert. Caitlin soon revealed to Taggie about who the bracelet was from, and Declan giving a speech on Patrick and soon giving a speech, with Cameron making an entrance, doing the countdown early so he could kiss Cameron, with Monica spotting Tony. Charles and NAME were then meeting up, giving him a key to his house, declining due to his political career, breaking his heart. Meanwhile Rupert was checking in on Taggie, encouraging her to come and dance which she agreed to and accepted the apology but not the bracelet. There was also a rare moment where Rupert admitted that Taggie scares him, complimenting her dancing and the two were soon getting close, apologising about the mix up. But soon Taggie was pulling back with Sarah wondering why Rupert is ignoring her, declining her advances and breaking her heart, with Tony commenting how how good she looks on tv to cheer her up. At the party, it was clear that Cameron was making tony jealous whilst Sarah reported to Lizzie about what he said, revealing his fling with Cameron. Caitlin and Archie were then meeting meeting whilst Valerie was slightly embarrassed by Freddie, but was soon dancing with Lizzie. Maud was then interrupting Rupert chatting to Monica about New Year’s resolutions, getting him alone to seduce him and being offended when he mentioned Taggie with Tony assuming the obvious. Later on Declan was telling the family a Shakespeare piece to find Maud upset, with Patrick making out it’s parental drama. Freddie and Valerie wee then asking about the kids, interrupting Bas hooking up with the servants (which I was not expecting) and Taggie finding Charles upset about his mother soon having a suspected heart attack. Tony Freddie and Valerie were then finding their kids with Caitlin despite Monica having a good time, but Tony was advising Archie not to interact with them and assumed the ambulance is for someone else. Taggie was offering her services whilst Charles gets into the ambulance, with Rupert finding her, reminding her she’s not a responsibility and revealing about Charles and if she’s capable of love. It was then that Rupert reassured her that someone will love her, offering to take care of everything and gabble revealing he’s okay, with a moment interrupted by Gertrude the dog. Soon everything was sorted, and Rupert thanked Taggie for the party, explaining his feelings only to find her asleep, whilst Patrick and Cameron were talking, where she opened up about her challenging upbringing by her parents with Patrick wanting to look after her, revealing his play and asked about ambition. Rupert was then making a deal to protect Charles with Declan watching from afar and figuring out why Maud wanted Rupert’s attention, soon “making up for it”. Cameron was then asking about how British people eat, revealing about her and Tony, causing friction between her and Patrick on her work ethic. Rupert was then tending to his horses and finding the bracelet, clearly smitten with Taggie whilst Cameron headed home to find Tony, offering her a choice to leave the contract and her intentions, showing his true colours when asking if she will stop seeing Patrick, she was soon giving into temptation. It ended with Taggie revealing she met someone, and asked about Cameron and stating that Declan isn’t always right. Episode 4 saw Rupert and Bas visiting Taggie, who were pleased about her being busy, but making out to Declan about borrowing his cutlery and invited him to come on in his show in his own unique way, who declined. After Declan was finishing his latest show, he was then suddenly announcing his guest in the form of Rupert, questioned by Cameron about it, but was Tony liking the idea, with Cameron taking the call to confirm it. Meanwhile, everyone was getting ready for the shooting, with Tony talking about Freddie Jones with Valerie tagging along the shoot taking place, with everyone surprised by Freddie’s shooting, and Monica making an innuendo. Lizzie was then having a go at shooting, with Freddie pleased by her effort, and Valerie was then inviting people to a boutique, with Sarah talking about her screen tear with James flirting with her. It was safe to say that Tony was impressed with Freddie, but his mood soon changed when finding his son only to find Archie and Kevin (who remainder him of his sister Shelley and what she can be like earlier) together, making a clear threat. Tony then found Rupert joining him and making an offer of the show, with Taggie secretly pleased he came. Charles was then shocked in finding Declan (who was going into the office to get some stuff), who suggested about how him and Rupert could’ve been friends whilst he revealed about moving offices and updating him on his health, advising him not to show weakness to Tony. Declan then found a letter with a picture of Rupert whilst Rupert himself asked Taggie about her job, encouraging her to stand up for herself whilst she warns him about Declan. Hermione (who she and her husband were leaving the shoot) was then asking Taggie about the next job, in which she took Rupert’s advice, which got Monica impressed and got her to do a more friendly job with Bas interrupting the moment. Freddie was also having a nightmare when he ended up having to go for a job (where I was impressed by his Japanese) with Tony having a success but he and everyone were teasing Valerie behind their back only to be caught by Freddie and Lizzie secretly feeling uneasy about it. Declan was then asking Taggie about the shoot, where she admitted feeling uneasy about Rupert’s appearance whilst she searched his office on stuff about Rupert. Declan was then catching her and she made it clear on his thoughts, following Declan questioning Seb on the intentions of the show. After Cameron and Tony were having “fun”, it was shortly followed by Freddie revealing he’s declining joining the board after overhearing everything, convincing Valerie to say nothing, leading Cameron in trying to make Tony see he messed up not Rupert, not revealing Declan’s top secret whilst Valerie went behind Freddie’s back and mentioned about Tony and Cameron’s affair which I wasn’t sure if Monica was in the know. Valentine’s Day soon came with Rupert making a delivery and Lizzie was getting a delivery from James and Sarah getting ready for her job. We also saw Archie and Shelly having some “fun” claiming to Tony and Monica that it was “exercise” with Monica giving some unique advice linking to Tony and Cameron. Patrick was soon giving a romantic speech to Cameron, which she declined whilst getting a nasty card from Tony with Deidre sensing her mood, also declining a call to Lizzie about James. Taggie was then opening Gertrude the dogs card from Rupert, with Bas coming in to ask about Taggie for a job, inviting Maud and begging Declan to not humiliate Rupert. Tony was then complimenting Sarah whilst asking Declan about Rupert, and Lizzie was shocked to find Freddie (expecting it was James), who gave her a word process typewriter, complimenting her talent and her looks, followed by a call from James which knocked her back. But James was busy when Tony introduced Sarah as his new co host whilst Taggie came to Rupert’s house, meeting his ex Helen, who convinced her to talk to him and his people can change but with little success. Declan is as also reminding Cameron how good she is at her job whilst Rupert comes in, with Charles ignoring his lover Gerald (which I don’t blame him really), whilst Paul surprises Sarah. The show was then taking place with one of the questions slipping in, soon making a joke of it with Taggie coming in to warn him about what Declan will do next. It then got Rupert flipping the question onto Declan after he admitted everything, with Declan soon admitting his own faults and Cameron refusing to pull the plug knowing it’s good tv, and Rupert was soon talking about his dog and the show being a success, showing a vulnerable side to him. It seemed to have done the trick as Declan as getting praise from everyone with Tony still at the studio, with a colleague congratulating him on the show. There was also full on sad mood when Declan noticed Rupert admiring Taggie, giving him a warning because of the age gap, also making out he was bluffing when asking about the information. Freddie was then doing some karaoke and Rupert declined Taggies offer to dance after Declan’s warning, whilst at Corinium, Cameron’s colleagues advised her in letting Tony be whilst he lets out his frustrations, only for Monica to get a call to the prime minister, who wants to do an interview of her own whilst Declan was burning up the evidence against Rupert. Episode 5 saw Rupert and Bas overhearing Taggie practicing to talk to Rupert, with Bas having a liking to her left over dessert but Rupert ignoring her, with Bas teasing him about it. The radio then announced Declan’s show being the most talked about with him and Rupert in the newspaper, infuriating Tony. A woman called Dame Enid Spink was visiting the studio and letting Declan know about his show, with the Cotswold Round-up taking place with Enid as the guest, but James was getting her name wrong. After Daysee overheard a conversation and asking about Declan and Rupert, Declan was planning to get Thatcher, with Joyce giving an update on Tony but not before Charles gave him a report about gay relationships. Tony then gave Declan questions to ask Margaret which he didn’t like, reminding him of what Tony offered, with Joyce bringing in James with the questions for Margaret, giving Declan a hint of how he took it. Sarah then found out about Margaret informing her she’ll have to do it on her own, and berating Lizzie for her writing with Sarah making a comment that got flirty. Declan was soon confronting Tony about Margaret, threatening to quit but Tony reminded him of the tax bill and an insurance policy in the form of Maud cheating on Declan with Patrick’s godfather, and also reminding him of Declan being a judge on a beauty contest. Declan was then coming home angry to reveal he’s taking some time off and also how he can’t resign, whilst James was running through questions with Lizzie, and her trying to be seduce him didn’t go to plan. Lizzie was then going to London to get her book read by her agent Carole and despite being in a public space, she liked it and soon asked who it’s based off. Soon Lizzie bumped into Freddie and reported to him about the book, and offered to come with him to first class, thanking him for the word processed and talking about diets, soon being in a toilet to avoid getting caught and having a moment. Freddie then went to the rescue to find missing chapters whilst Daysee sees the pageant signs, with Cameron urging Tony to reconsider getting Declan back, but Tony was then offering her to go to Spain to collect an award together. The Margaret Thatcher interview was then taking place, which James took his place and Declan going into a depressive slump, with Taggie finding out about it with Maud not caring, calling Malhar. Taggie then had to bring Rupert to talk some sense into him, opening up about the responsibility to be had, with Rupert offering to help but declined is offer to stay. Freddie was then reading Lizzie’s book she left, interrupted by Valerie coming in to get him to exercise, soon bringing them back to Lizzie and asking her out but declined his offer. Freddie then complimented her writing and equally felt guilty, whilst Rupert brought Caitlin back and offered to take Declan out. Maud was then seen going to meet Malhar, who wanted to talk about something else, Rupert was explaining to Declan about what makes a perfect horse, looking at one called Venturer, only getting an offer from Freddie but gave him an offer. The three were then having lunch and Freddie and Rupert bonded over tony, whilst Daysee got dressed up for the pageant and offered to help collect one of the judges. Sarah trying to seduce James after getting jealous, whilst the three men getting drunk with Declan realising he was supposed to be judging the pageant. There was also a horrific moment where Daysee feeling uncomfortable with Reverend Fergus Penny (the judge she was collecting) whilst the pageant rehearsal was going ahead, with Cameron being praised about Daisy idea. Cameron was then making one of the judges feel comfortable whilst Penny arrived, with Daysee being upset and revealed his intentions, and I hated Tony for not believing her and encouraging her to forget about it, with Joyce soon encouraging her to turn it into a weapon. Declan was also asking about Daysee, but not before the pageant started and Caitlin told a story about her boarding school and teasing Taggie about Rupert whilst Paul overhears a comment about Sarah. Soon all hell broke loose as Declan drunkenly punched Penny after getting a hint of the situation, soon quitting after finding out about Daysee, and encouraged her to report it but declined. Declan was then heading with Rupert and Freddie whilst Tony talks to Penny, and later on Taggie and Caitlin were spying on Declan and Maud, where he suggested about going back to London, asking if the marriage can be repaired. Joyce was then coming round to reveal she took the photos Tony had, and Taggie was seen chasing Gertrude, with Rupert rescuing her and revealing about Declan leaving. As Tony and Cameron were discussing the next plan, using Declan’s drinking to exaggerate it, Rupert and Freddie then suggested to start a new business, which Declan accepted.
Last One Laughing:
This week I finished the show where 10 comedians have to try not to laugh. The penultimate episode that was Episode 5 saw Bobs joker taking place where he performed as Graham Lister, resulting in a laugh which got Diane a red card and leaving the game. It was also revealed that Gbemi had to leave the room due to being unwell, but managed to make a joke out of it. We then saw Intimacy coordinators Natasha and Eli coming in with Romesh being the main target, follows by Sam and then asking Mel and David of their “connection”. A conversation on the Geordie accented to Jimmy getting Bob and David to do a scene taking place in a career office with Bob as the careers advisor. Mel is as then giving out her hairy biscuits, and Jimmy got Romesh going to a utilities cupboard for Jimmy to ask about show ideas, which got Romesh to go out. Sam was then doing his joker which made no sense (but it was also entertaining), and it ended with Jimmy announcing it’s now a sudden death. The final episode of that was Episode 6 saw Jimmy getting stuck in the doors, and Bob was performing a song for David with everyone soon targeting him to try and make him to Laugh. David is as then rapping from Romesh’s rap book, along with doing his second joker where he “attempts to do stand up comedy”. Sam is as then trying to make an innuendo and David was showing pictures to Mel and Bob. The two were trhen doing a head to head challenge called “Nature Calls”, with Mel getting out, which was soon followed by Bob when David over exaggerates a word. We then saw David and Sam having a final head to head with some dinner coming to a tie breaker, with David being the winner. You could say that it was definitely a good series to watch, and fingers crossed there will be a TV it’s series on the way.

Personal:
Exercise:
This week I was abit all over the place with the exercise, mainly due to a mixture of the heat and also my other commitments. But I went to the gym twice and did plenty of yoga, and I even went on the bike on the Saturday of this week. Whilst I didn’t make it to 15k, I managed to get to 10k, which for me was enough. But as of next week I am back to it!
Sisters Birthday Meal:
This week I went out for a meal linking to my sisters birthday meal. It was also the meal before my grandparents went on their cruise, so it was nice to spend some quality time with them before they go. A nice way to spend some quality family time whilst celebrating another yea dog my sister getting older.
Survey:
This week I did some more surveys. I thankfully did more than before, which was always good. I also did some at the end of the week to help me relax, which is just what I needed as well after this chaotic week.
Darts:
This week was a much better practice, where I finished on tops on my first game, and double 6 with 2 bust scores and 16 missed match darts. I know that I had a much better practice after that, and the scores on when I finished said it all. And I got some good scores as seen below, which was always a bonus.
Premier League of Darts:
This week is watched the final of the tournament of my favourite sport at the O2 arena in London. I just say, let’s just say that there was a reason why the top 4 were in it, and it had me on tender hooks. Whilst I didn’t watch the two Luke’s (as I know what to expect from the two), it was Luke Littler who took the title once again, and it was nice to see Luke Humpheries being the good sportsperson he was. And I can’t wait to see the two of them represent England in the World Cup of Darts in a few weeks!
Britain’s Got Talent:
This week I watched the final of the iconic talent show set in Great Britain. I’ll be honest I did have my favourites to win it, but seeing everyone stepping up their game shows that it could’ve been anyone. There was also some brilliant performances from “Sinatra: The Musical” and the surprise guest act being Misteeq. In the end it was The Hawkstone Farmer’s Choir that took the title, making history as the first ever choir to win the show. And for anyone saying it was a fox because Jeremy Clarkson was in the audience, this was purely down to the public, so I think they need to ask themselves why are they shocked when you voted for that act to win for a reason. And because agriculture is a tough industry this is maybe their way of saying thank you, also showing that being in a choir is a good form of self care. But all in all it was a brilliant final, and I can’t wait to see what they do at the royal variety performance.

Soccer Aid:
This week I watched moments of the tournament to raise money for UNICEF. Normally I’m not a fan of football, but because it happens once a year, features a brilliant bunch of celebrities and raising money for a good cause, I had to tune in to watch. I was impressed by Owen Warners debut, and he definitely shone throughout the match. But the important part was that it’s one of those matches where regardless of who won, the money being raised was going towards a good cause. And that is something for everyone to be proud of.

Gogglebox:
This week was the last of the current series, where we had a look back at some of the most iconic moments from the show. Some of the memorable moments from the TV critics included Ellie talking to Izzi about putting her shoes in the washing machine, and Abbie talking to Georgia about her first measuring of a certain body part. Other memorable moments included Jenny taking over Lee’s conversation with Steve which was entertaining, and the Malone’s seeing Shaun talking to Tom and Julie about his karaoke song. David and Shirley were talking about holidays with Shirley getting confused with different landmarks, and Cheé and Andre questioning Sarah on her clothing. Finally, Amira being mocked by Amani about her “self care”, and Pete talking to Sophie about putting locks on the cupboard for this children. There was also a look back at some of the most memorable TV moments they reacted to. This included “University Challenge” were Manchester and Edinburgh were going head to head, and “Britain’s Got Talent” seeing Asco from Italy performing a modern take of an orchestra, having mixed opinions from the Goggleboxers. “The Apprentice” saw the moment a creative challenge to create a pet product with one of them not going to plan, and “Secrets of The Bees” saw the Asian Honeybees come face to face with Giant “Murder” Hornets. “Bridgerton” saw the moment Benedict asking Sophie the question which infuriated the Goggleboxers, “BBC News” showed the story on Artemis II. Finally. “Love On The Spectrum” seeing Logan going on a date with Hailey, and “The Assembly” seeing Stephen Fry getting interviewed, entertaining the Goggleboxers and making me excited for when I watch the second series this week.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
Some of the challenges I faced this week included cutting my foot on the socket plug after the scratch night. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad injury wise and is slowly on the healing process. The other challenge I faced was the heat and how it impacted me and my family. But I knew I had to stay hydrated, keep myself out of the sun and also look after myself. I even managed to paint my nails as a fork it self care as well which is always a bonus.
What Have I Learnt This Week? Watch where I’m going and to keep myself hydrated!
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
