Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week was a week of more productivity, which included developing the art of Stella Adler's Techniques, being offered a role in a film, and the start of the Paralympic Games. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 2nd March 2026.
Professional:
Story First:
This week I continued my script for the Storyfirst submission. As I’m writing this I’m nearly at the 5 page mark, and next week will consist of me working on the treatment for the script. But I’m happy with my progress, and I was able to get into the state of flow when writing.

Fundraiser Filming:
Honestly, I felt like I could've done better with this. As I'm posting this, the videos are still in the edit, but I've shared them with my "Proper job" and my fellow creatives. So at least I did something rather than nothing. Don’t forget to click the link below to make your donation if you haven’t already!

Acting Class:
This week I learnt more about Stella Adler's teachings. Along with leaving my personality behind and stepping into the world of another character, we looked at a politician's speech to not only transform into that character, but look at how the inner monologue conflicts with the outer monologue, which I found very fascinating. We were then given the task to learn a script as if it was for an audition to use everything we’ve learnt. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to do it, but providing I use a verb, and take away what I think of the character and make clear boundaries of what traits are me and what are the characters I should be okay. And I can’t wait to see other people’s performances too.
Acting Jobs:
This week I applied for more jobs on both Mandy and Spotlight. I even got a chance to speak with some students from Nottingham Trent University, who wanted me to join their film. Yes I may have no dialogue, but with my character being a crucial part of the story, I can see why they picked me. I can’t wait to get on board with them. I also got an offer for a short film, where yes I only have one line, but in this industry, there are no small roles, just small actors. Because it's also a day player scene too, it'll give me good practice for when I land that first job on Coronation Street (still manifesting that moment).
Act On This:
This weeks podcast featured Alex Daszewski from Urban Talent management. This was a brilliant session, with takeaways to go forward when it comes to the working relationship with my current agent. I also needed to learn to have fun, which is something I’ve been lacking recently, mainly due to a mixture of exhaustion and lacking inspiration. So I’m hoping that the stuff I got to above will help me find that.

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 27th February along with the 2nd and 3rd march. There was drama following Mals attack, as Kit checking in on Bernie in the cell. taking matters into his own hands when she reveals she doesn’t have an alibi. It was good that Dev believed she didn’t do it after everything they went through, wanting an update on the case, whilst Gemma was talking about it to Bethany and Jodie, with Kit stating he take on the case can’t due to it being a family thing. Lisa was then giving an update to Kit whilst Bernie gets interviewed. But it even surprised my dad when Kit revealed he did it, and Sarah understandably was surprised by it and frustrated. Soon afterwards, Kit was chatting to lisa, and then chatted to Browning to hand himself in, only to reveal Bernie having an alibi. But she knew it was true, as she was then querying on the alibi, sparking suspicion. Lisa was then chatting to Kit about Becky, revealing he’s back on the case now that she is released. The next day saw Sarah still being mad at Kit, with Brody coming in and Bernie making a joke when he came into the cafe. Bernie was then quizzing Kit on the whereabouts, which she wasn’t mad and revealed Devs plan to take her to Tenerife, but that didn’t stop her expressing her worries. But Lisa concerned about Kit was the least of her problems, as Carla was pleased to see her happy at work, only to find a baby on her doorstep. Betsy soon got a glimpse of the baby, and along with Carla was wondering about the gossip. Lisa then revealed it’s Carla’s niece after Rob is the dad, with Carla not liking the idea. We saw her then talking to Sarah about Connie, asking why it’s a bad idea. This then resulted in Carla opening up to lisa about her miscarriage (which I remember really well), with Lisa then explaining about the care system, encouraging her to do this. But no one said it was going to be easy. -: Baby Connie was keeping everyone up, with Ed offering Glories baby pram. And Adam was also having a bad day with stepping in dog poo when seeing Carla sigh the baby. Carla was then thanking Ronnie for the Baileys baby clothes, reminding her she can rely on them, whilst sorting a call with Sarah. Mary also her good advice on when babies sense when the adults are stressed, which y to have done the trick. And Lisa seeing Carla having a day of it confirmed that they’ll get the hang of parenting a newborn. There was also drama in Shuttleworths, as Glenda and Christina comforting George, interrupted by Joan’s son coming in. But the plan to organise her funeral was ruined as Annie was coming in to ruin hid reputation, with Damian soon resorting to another company. Kit was too distracted to help (and Adam gave him some good advice), which was then followed Sean and Sally gossiping about George and Shuttleworths, with Tim reporting back about what Kit said. We then saw Christina having a call, with George to find one star reviews, with Annie being possibly being the one to set them up. And whilst George was trying to relax admits the chaos, Christina revealed she reported Annie, but it only resorted in George ticking into the station. He was then updating everyone on the case, with Glenda promising to be there no matter what. There was also drama at the Platts, with Jodie checking in on Shona, arguing with David when he has a lie in. But Bethany was still having her suspicions, whilst helping Shona set up for a date night, haunting Jodie. It then led to Shona surprising David with their alone time, making Jodie jealous, the couple reflecting on the day got interrupted by Jodie and Lily, possibly as a way to ruin the moment. And whilst she making dinner, I can’t imagine Adam being happy about David the dogs toilet troubles, with Shona losing her temper when he complains. But it was clear that it was linked to Harper’s surgery, and whilst David and Shona were in the pub, Glenda showed her support. There was also a new loss for Steve, as following everything that’s happened, he revealed he won’t let Jim get to him, with Mary coming round to get a portable charger and made a comment to Cassie on not being a leap year. Mary was then talking about how Steve and Cassie are meant to be, but was planning something, where the ladies revealed to tim about Cassie proposing to Steve. The next day, Tim was asking Cassie if the proposal is still going ahead whilst querying about a certain pick up, but it was part of the plan. And Mary backing out of Tracy’s invite got her suspicious, and Steve was also questioning Tim. But the moment was ruined when Steve call about Jim being dead. Everyone was soon consoling him at the pub, and Tracy spotted Mary slipping in a ring in Amy’s coat. It then led to Tracy quizzing Mary, with Tim coming to her defence, but Tracy finding out what Cassie was going to do got Mary begging her to keep quiet for Amy’s and Steve’s sake. But his grief was definitely getting to him after finding out he died from pneumonia, and Tim and Ben taking him home when he had too much to drink led to an outrage after not taking a joke Ben made. But soon he came in the Rovers to apologise to Ben, who understood and asked for a drink with him. Whilst the guys were reforming their friendship, Tracy was complaining, and Cassie claimed she was testing an outfit. I also have a feeling that there’s drama within the Barlow/McDonald clan, as Cassie suspecting it’s Ollie who Amy is messaging (which will lead into a love triangle), and Tracy reveals of Cassie’s proposal before he died. There was also more drama for the Webster, as Debbie and Lou were making bracelets whilst Paula comes in. It was good of Lou coming to her defence, but I have a feeling she was secretly being scared of Paula (and I would be as well). It then led to Debbie finding Lou injured, but got a distraction to let her see her kids. Lou then saw the family, but revealed the truth to just Sally, reminding them that they’re growing up. Debbie was ask updating Carl, who revealed he needs more money, which got noticed by Sally who asked about Lou about the situation, getting concerned. Sally was then trying to make Debbie see she’s vulnerable, and her denying it. Soon enough, Debbie got overwhelmed again and ended up pushing Lou away, maybe from another spell. Elsewhere, Ed, Ronnie and Ryan were talking about Debbie, with Sally updating him on what happened, with Carl coming in but Ben kicking him out after another tense argument. But all the stress led to Debbie having another TIA, not being believed by the prison officer this time.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw the downfall of a villain as the truth comes to light, a possible new romance, and a devestating diagnosis ahead. Gemma was lashing out at Vicky with everything on her plate, which only made things worse, as she took her fear out in Prince following the kidnap a few weeks ago. But when she did come round to apologise (putting her in Myra’s good books), she noticed Prince taking the steroids. They then had a deep chat which revealed why he’s still taking them. I can also only guess what Vicky did following this chat. Gemma meanwhile went to the old place to find Donny, still in denial of what Sully did. I don’t think it was wise to let Gemma show the hard drive of the night in question, as I have a feeling Donny might delete the one and only piece of evidence needed to take Sully away for life. But whatever he chooses, I hope it’s the right decision, as Sully woke up and swore revenge on Froggy and anyone who crossed their path. But that’s not the only drama. After finding out what Sophie did, Leela begged Sienna to tell the truth to Cleo. She did just that, but it only put a strain on their relationship. Just as she was about to tell the truth, Leela and Mercedes were rushed to hospital after Joseph had another seizure. Despite telling the truth, Misbah gave the devastating news about ghosted getting diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. Something tells me there’s a long road ahead back to normality. Tuesdays episode saw Dodger attend his hearing linking to the corruption allegations. So far it looked like Sully was winning, but it was about to change soon. And that was where Gemma came in, confiding in Warren about Donny, who worked out why he did a disappearing act, which was also caught by Misbah. They then went to the abandoned place to find Donny and brought him back to good health. And just in time, as a frustrated Dodger gave a emotional speech on everything that’s happened and not being believed (which was quite hard to watch), and Donny came in with the evidence and spoke of nothing but praise for Dodger. It’s safe to say as well Sully isn’t the big man anymore. But there was plenty of action outside of this horrific moment, as Cleo was still pushing Sienna away after she admitted the truth and the aftermath of Joseph’s diagnosis. But Misbah was able to give some words of wisdom following Donny’s ordeal, and soon it looks like the couple are back on track, for Joseph’s sake. And Vicky was understandably disappointed with Dillon after he admitted to seeing Lucas in prison. But his harsh come back got Vicky feeling down about herself. Finally, Wednesdays episode picked up where we left off from, with Donny showing the evidence. I don’t think you can use the AI/deep fake card to get out of this one, and it certainly changed their view of everything. After Donny and Dodger were reflecting, wondering why it’s easy to open up to strangers but not your own family, Superintendent Singh announced his leave, realising he should’ve listened to his colleagues. But it was good that Dodger was able to keep his job, and his relationship with Theresa was back on track. We then saw Donny open up to his family, with a powerful performance by Louis Emmerick. I do also hope that Vicky will find solace in Prince, not only for the what’s happened, but also to make her reconsider about her use of weight loss jabs. We also saw Dillon see Lucas in prison, updating him on everything that’s happened, and Lucas surprisingly took the news of Ste’s and rex’s engagement well. But after seeing spoilers, there’s going to be more trouble ahead for the couple. Dodger was also quick to confront Cleo when she opens up to him about how she’s been with Sienna. Despite a moment of madness between the two following good news, she was able to get her relationship with Sienna back on track. And Dee Dee was suspicious of Diane after having a go at her for her coursework. Whilst Ro suspected it was due to Tony staying to play golf longer, he also sparked concern when she didn’t let them go to the shop with them, when actually it was for a hospital appointment linking to severe pains. With Alex Fletcher set to leave the show, and seeing the real reason why Diane had to go to the hospital, this will be the start of an emotional, possibly final storyline.
Eastenders.
This week saw a reunion, a son disowning their mother, and a tough decision that has an impact on the whole village. Mondays episode saw Johnny clearly hungover from the previous episode, which resorted in Elaine telling the truth to Linda about what really happened. Callum was also oblivious when asking him why Tim couldn’t sign the papers at home and send it to him… This then got Linda talking to Johnny, thinking that honesty would help her in her recovery, but it only made things, and her confronting Tim herself all got too much. Despite Elaine’s obvious hatred towards max, he showed his support for Linda, and took matters into his own hands when Tim refused to pay the rest of his investment after Linda’s outburst. Something tells me won’t end well. Elsewhere, Priya, Avani and Nugget were all worried about Ravi after last week’s episode, with Avani reminding him of the advice he gave to her if anything was bothering him, but it didn’t seem to work. Jack was also concerned for him, and making him take a step back after having a break through in one of the cases, for Ravi's mentality more than anything. Despite saying he’ll rest, I have a feeling he’ll go straight to the deep end when Mark orders him to reach out for the phone. There was also concern in the Trueman clan, as Patrick’s present from Denzel is sparking concern, so much in fact that he was too distracted to see the package from Anthony’s ex Sophie. Despite Kim saying it’s harmless, she soon wondered if the right of the family were right to be concerned when he refused to go with her for a drink. I also think her definition of sorting things out when Howie enquired also didn’t help, as taking the phone for a digital detox did not end well. There was also an update with Nigel, who’s condition is clearly declining. The doctors then stated the worst case scenario should it happen again, and soon Julie and Phil got into another disagreement on if Clare should come or not after Nigel made his request, uncertain as to if it’s genuine or the illness talking. Tuesdays episode saw where we picked up where we left off from, with Johnny revealing the truth to Callum. It did cause them friction, but Johnny revealed about it being Tim’s plan, which soon changed his point of view. Whilst their relationship may be back on track after a talk, Johnny's relationship with Linda is definitely strained, and his announcement of moving out is only adding to that. I’m just glad Max didn’t do anything stupid, but he also made it clear to Tim that there will be consequences if the money doesn’t get paid. I also thought I’d never see the day that the Mitchell’s would be put in their place by a 13 year old, as Phil and Julie were still at loggerheads about Clare coming to see Nigel. But Lexi checking in on Phil led to her giving Julie a stern talking to, recalling about her past experience when losing Lola, and how important it is to be there for him. And it looks like her words may have worked, as Julie then left Clare a voice message. Ravi was also still on edge following the lock in, and told Priya how he really felt. But a drink with Mark in Harry’s Barn and having some banter about the past for him rethinking everything, which caused a strain on his relationship with Priya. But there may be a reunion in the Trueman family, as it all started with Kim opening up to Howie about Patrick’s state of mind. Despite saying it was none of his business, he came round and used a different tactic to get Patrick to open up. It soon did the trick, and Patrick even defended Howie when Kim came home, as without his interference, there wouldn’t have been no progress, and Patrick wouldn’t have opened the box Sophie got and asked if Denzel could delete the app. I do hope there is a reunion w Howie and Kim following this. With Yolande raising her suspicions. Wednesdays episode saw Phil, Julie and Lexi hair ring out Nigels stuff for when he moves to the care home. After Lexi (who stayed from school to help out) made a joke about a film that resembles personality, Clare soon turned up. And things took a turn at the hospital, with Nigel unable to recognise the real Clare for Lexi, and I know it’s the dementia talking, but for obvious reasons it’s not very nice. Clare and Julie then had an intense argument about what she did, which Lexi found out. And once again it was Lexi who was able to give the grownups a wake up call, as she gave Clare some advice after showing a video of her mum Lola, wishing how she would have one last goodbye with her. Tragedy soo followed when Nigel goes missing after agreeing to let him have some more rest. Elsewhere, Johnny and Callum were settling into the prospect of now living as a an official couple, with a text from Tim confirming its over and wanting to make a fresh start, despite Callum wondering if Johnny should report him. You know when you agree with something, when even Elaine agreed with Max’s tactics after Linda wondered if she lost Johnny. There was obviously still some sexual tension when she came to see him at the garage, with her being the possible option for her as a bride following the fast forward episode. Howie was also on a mission to win back Kim with Patrick’s help, which was nice knowing that it’ll also help him with his grief, reminding him that life is too short. Now even he wondered if The Albert was all too much, but still got her and Denise coming to anyway (despite thinking he had a secret of his own which was quite entertaining). Although I’m with Kim on Howie gesture, which would be too much for me, but Kim talking about the Howie she fell in love with and vice versa soon did the trick, and a reunion was just what the family needed following Anthony’s death. Elsewhere, Priya was begging Ravi to think for himself, and got her suspicions whilst working. But thankfully he came to Marks rescue, knowing what prison was like for him. But he’d better watch his back, as whilst taking out Vicki for food, Mark is definitely taking the saying “keep your friends close but your enemies closer” seriously. Finally, Thursdays episode saw the hunt for Nigel going ahead. Little todo they know that Claire and Lexi took him to the Vic, where everyone was there for his final pint before he moved into the care home. Whilst Phil is annoyed but proud of Lexi, and whilst Priya was talking to Ravi about Mark and her new job with Lauren, Julie and Clare had a talk about the last, with Claire blaming herself for not picking the phone up sooner. It then led to everyone talking about the past, wirh Julie mentioning a memory linking to Claire, that got him remembering her. But the aftermath of the care hike was beginning to show, as not only everyone was affected, but Nigel seeing the new home only got Claire to be pushed away. But I did admire the nurse talking to Phil about how the weight he carried finally got to him, but refused help and turned Nigel down, knowing that there’s not much else to do anymore. Julie on the other hand was also struggling, but it’s a good job Yolande was there as it encouraged Julie to make the little moments count. All I can say I’d well done to Steve McFadden, Karen Henthorn and Paul Bradley for the amazing performance, showing the reality of loved ones with dementia are affected.
Dinosaur:
This week I watched the last two episodes of the comedy co created by Ashley Storrie. Episode 5 saw Nina and Evie getting ready for the museum fundraiser, with Evie wondering if Shane made Nina say the things she said whilst wondering about the spark in her marriage. Nina was then recapping the plan for the day, and Evie reassuring her that a fight is normal when it comes to romance. I could clearly see that Nina was annoyed at Evie and Ranesh’s flirtiness (which was quite amusing to watch), which then led to the two of them m talking about spicing up their marriage whilst also asking Nina about Clay, also giving her advice. Nina and Clay got chatting, with Evie seeing it as flirting and warning about keeping their cool, and shortly after Shane was giving clear instructions for the fundraiser, and it was quite amusing to see Nina making fun of his costume. Nina and co then got stationed to their room, only to have Lee in the same room, leading to an awkward chat and claiming they’re grownups and can handle the situation respectfully. The guests was then coming in, with Nina getting distracted by the boys and whilst giving knowledge on her character Mary Anning, whilst Evie is talking about Ranesh. But it slowly changed to Nina wondering if Claudette was Lee’s other option, but chose to ignore it, and also gave Evie a “Boofing” band. Bo then came in claiming to help, wanting to make amends after he made the reveal in the last episode, but ended recapping about their past which involved breaking a plate. Shane was then encouraging Nina to think of other stuff, only to find Evie and Ranesh nearly” Boofing” in her changing rooms. Whilst Evie helping Nina with her costume to use the toilet, she was actually overstimulated from Lee and the clothes making her hot (which was so relatable). Nina opened up about how she’s feeling and stating why she can’t be normal (which was also relatable), with Evie saying she’s brilliant as she is, and also refused to give Evie the keys to the office, reminding her of her “Boofing” ban. She was then trying to gain donations, and Bo was still wanting to help, which Nina refused, and some comments about his advice following the last episode only pushed him away further. Shane then came in again to discuss another plan, but seeing Lee with Claudette got Nina to get her and Clay to recreate her “creative writing”. The recreation took place which was a hit, but Lee noticing it got her wondering if she did the right thing, resulting in ending it early and getting overwhelmed. We then saw Clay coming in to check in on her, and revealing that she was letting her feelings cloud her judgement. She then dodged a kiss from him, explaining how she struggled with feelings and realised she’s in love with Lee, who accepts her apology and accepts her as a “best friend”. Declan was then finding Nina, double checking it’s not what he thinks he saw, and reveals he also hides during the events. Nina then told him about her jealousy thinking she can’t compete, with him thinking it’s a symptom of love. Declan being the good friend he is then gave her advice on being in love and how being herself is okay. We then saw Shane giving the prize (which turned out to be a voucher as stated by clay), with Nina confirming to Evie and Ranesh about Clayton whilst being frustrated by their sexual frustration, which turned out the product they used was a fake, but got their sexual tension from themselves. After forgetting her pass, Nina discovered that Claudette is married to a woman, who commented on her and Lee being cute and reported it back to Evie and Ranesh, reminding them about not wanting to know private lives. Even she wasn’t wanting to move on, convinced it’s the right thing to do, as she soon made the decision to find him. And she did just that, as Episode 6 picked up where we left off from. You know it’s serious, when Nina declines Declan’s offer of pizza with the voucher that they won, but he knew this was more important. There was also an amusing moment on the bus, with Nina recommending not to engage in sports fans, but broke her own rules after talking about Mary Anning resulting in a chant which Evie and Ranesh joined in. They soon arrived at Lee’s house, and after making it clear wanting a nap afterwards and recapping the plan (relatable), and Evie recommending to push the bad stuff away, Lees roommate sadly confirmed he’s not there after confusing her (which was quite entertaining). The plan was put on hold though, as Evie got a text from her mum that Amber was going into labour. This resulted in the three of them finding Bo, whilst Nina sent a voice note to Lee explaining the situation. At first when they got home, I thought Amber turning out not in labour was true, claiming it’s cramps and got distracted about Bo not coming to the gammathon, only for it to be true when she breaks Ranesh’s hand from squeezing it too tight lol! Nina then came to Bo’s rescue, talking about their good times with their nana and apologising to him for what she said, finding his teddy and the list. But the mood soon changed when she told him about ambers labour, who was refusing to go to hospital. Even Bo trying to convince her, wirh Nina then explaining the reality of labour, but it only resulted in going into labour in the house and Nina’s greys anatomy knowledge got them sorted. Nina soon took over for Ranesh, and Bo taking over from Nina, only for the ambulance coming just in time. Bo’s expression is quite possibly what my dad must be thinking when me and my sister were born lol! It was quite funny to see Lee coming with a first aid box, little knowing how much of an emergency it was, but at least he Coe approval from Ade. Bo also got Nina to stay whilst they’re at the hospital, as he is way of making things right after episode 4. We then saw Nina and Lee apologising, claiming she worked her feelings out herself, with Nina showing him her den, using a dung beetle analogy to show how she really feels. I also relate massively to this topic when Nina explains about her “big feeling” and her way of relationships, resulting in a kiss and examining the dung beetle he named Lee after. At the hospital, Amber has had her baby, and wanting to know the gossip from the two lovebirds, he ambers approval when she revealed the song Lee sang was about Nina. After Lee made a joke whilst talking about the baby, everyone let her have her space, with then going for a walk, joking about Knutsford and suggesting places to go on a date. I thought it was also sweet how Nina was offering Lee to join her for her quiet time, ending on a high note whilst also talking about the song. It’s safe to say I’m glad it ended on a high note, making me believe in love a little bit more, and I’m also intrigued to see if they’ll be a third series to not only see their relationship develop, but also seeing Nina get it grips with being an auntie.
Bridgerton:
This week I watched the last episodes of the season 4 of this saucy drama. Episode 6: “The Passing Winter”, picked up where we left off from, with Sophie wondering what she did, making out it’s a moment of madness. But Benedict was being serious of his feelings (and the social media posts also show he was being serious), wanting to show his love for her. Whilst Sophie was looking at specific dates, Penelope met with Lady Danbury about a new tactic to convince charlotte about taking a step back, convinced she’s not much help and asked her why she wants to give up Whistledown. The latest column was talking about the crossroads, with lady Danbury updating Charlotte on the lady in silver, with Alice revealing there’s no one else, making her unhappy. Lady Whistledown also stated that the new Lord Penwood is coming, but it didn’t state who. We also saw Anthony and Kate coming back with their son Edmund. At the Kilmartin house, Michaela was talking to John about her mother, with John distracted by last night and asked for reconciliation, but was surprised by their newfound friendship, which soon turned into happiness. At his house, Benedict was sorting out the paperwork which was noticed by his servant, but refused to go to Bridgerton house and wanted the Crabtree's cottage (but more on that in a moment). Sophie also made out she was ill when one of the maids enquired (and her touching her stomach tells us otherwise), with her looking at more dates whilst Violet and Marcus talk about Benedict finding out of their relationship. It was only to be interrupted by Mrs Wilson, who asked about Lady Penwood, with Marcus suggesting to see them after 3 visits. This then came to an awkward conversation between Violet and Araminta taking place, and also between Posh and Rosamund and hyacinth and Eloise, where there’s still awkward tension between the two after the recital. Good on Posy for causing a distraction for Sophie who entered the room, with Araminta talking about her in that moment and doorman John gave her the perfect distraction. We then saw Violet coming into Sophie’s room after Araminta’s visit, who admitted the truth and Violet also having her opinion on her. Sophie then revealed the truth about the shoe clips and Violet believed her, giving her letter of introduction for her next employment. Violet also made promise to protect her, but also showed with care that another position may be the best thing, crossing off another date in her diary. We then saw Anthony coming back to Bridgerton House and updating Violet on Kate and Edmund, who then told him about Benedict. This then saw brothers talking about Gregory’s and Hyacinths recital, but soon asking Benedict about Sophie, stating it wasn’t the same with Sienna, clearly having different opinions on the matter. And whilst Benedict was still working on her drawing, and Sophie looking for employment, Portia was asking Penelope of the new Lady Penwood, dismissing Varley and greeted by the new Lady Penwood herself, only for it to be Cressida, stating their similarities since the last season. Cressida was then talking about how he met Lord Penwood, and apologises for her treatment and inviting her to the ball, with Portia thinking its also a good idea. At Bridgerton house, Sophie made out to Hazel that she’s ill again, unable to find her beforehand and queried about her romantic interests. For obvious reasons Sophie dismissed it, and the comment about not being made to work and die struck a chord to her. Elsewhere, Will was sensing Alice’s unease, stating she did things last Danbury wouldn’t do, and Will helped her by using a boxing analogy, which seemed to have done the trick and showed that they are a true power couple. During the night, Sophie was greeted by Benedict’s servant, with her finding him in conservatory to prove his love. It then got Benedict asking Sophie to move in, and explained the situation, getting to know each other on a deeper level, with Benedict being open having an attraction to both men and women and offered him to love Sophie. But Sophie backed out in fear of him leaving her, revealing of her illegitimate past and talking about her parents, but Benedict making Sophie a promise of their romance. At the palace, Charlotte was fuming at Cressida about her ball, with Brimsley reminding her of the request she made ages ago. But Alice suggesting an alternative got her thinking. We then saw Kate coming round to ask for an update, waking with giving out her words of wisdom and Sophie admiring Edmund. Lady Danbury was then spotting Benedict, avoiding Violet and opening up about the arrival of baby Edmund, admiring how he brought the family together. lady Danbury also gave him words of advice, resulting in Benedict leaving, claiming he “forgot the gift for the baby”. After Eloise and Penelope were talking about Cressida, and after Sophie was looking at her diary, Penelope came to the palace to explain why Charlotte is obsessed with Whistledown, using a feeling of being trapped which not only got Charlotte wondering about Alice’s request, but also linking it to what lady Danbury said in episode 1. Before the ball, Eloise was wanting to make up to Hyacinth by letting her go but in disguise, whilst Penelope was reflecting on who she was before revealing herself as Whistledown, with Colin being proud of her. Cressida’s ball taking place, and the penwoods soon made their entrance whilst the Bridgertons asked about Penelope coming. I’m just glad that Hyacinth was pleased that Cressida didn’t recognise her whilst Cressida and Eloise were chatting. Violet was then asking Marcus to meet for “just tea”, only to be interrupted by Benedict coming to fulfil family duties, and Violet wondering if he’ll leave Sophie alone. Sophie herself was looking at the picture, noticing a different thing Benedict made, whilst John and Francesca profess their love for each other. Everyone was soon asking about the queen, and Creasida’s attempts to make a distraction were to be interrupted by lady whistledowns last column, meaning Cressida wouldn’t be mentioned, showing that their feud has officially come to an end. But that didn’t stop the drama happening, as after Benedict spotted Hyacinth, Araminta's suspicions nearly got caught by Posy. Sophie meanwhile was pleased with the Bridgerton family smiling, but Benedict and Anthony were talking about the lovers and the reality of their marriage, thinking he’ll make the right decision. But Sophie overheard everything, and was soon getting her letter to Penwood house, whilst Charlotte gets an update from the column at the ball, also accepting lady Danbury’s request to step down from the palace. We also saw unity at Kilmartin house, with Francesca, John and Michaela doing a jigsaw, and John going for a nap and seeing the two ladies getting on. We then saw Marcus meeting Violet and asking about their relationship, reassuring her of her intentions, professing his love and proposing, which she accepts. There was heartbreak to happen in more ways than one, as Sophie was updating Benedict on her interview, revealing she wasn’t with child and turning him down in fear of separating him from the family, convinced love isn’t enough, breaking his heart. There was also heartbreak for Francesca, finding John dead in his sleep. The penultimate episode that was Episode 7: “The Beyond”, saw Sophie and the maids helping with johns funeral, also also seeing preparations being made at Kilmartin house, with Francesca and Michaela heartbroken. The funeral was then taking place, with Benedict making a speech on behalf of Anthony, and Francesca wanting to act like nothing has happened. The reception hosted by Violet saw Michaela asking about if it’s abit morbid, with Agatha sharing her condolences. Violet was also showing her condolences, which was then followed by talking about John, but got distracted by biscuits which seemed to have lightened the mood. I could also see that Marcus was wanting to give Violet a break whilst Hyacinth asks about their fathers funeral, with Sophie asking for help didn’t go to plan. Even the taste of the biscuits didn’t help, as Francesca was clearly distracted. Sophie was very clever in making out her hair piece is coming out, using it as a way to help Francesca calm down, with the glances of her and Benedict spotted by lady Danbury. In the quote room, Sophie was talking about her fathers funeral to calm her down and gave her some advice, realising she didn’t wear the necklace she had. She also assured Francesca that if she needed anything else she’ll be there for her, whilst trying to find the necklace. Next door, Araminta was annoyed about not attending the funeral, with Posy suggesting it’s the best thing, but it could help but spark her suspicious of her. Posy was then making out she knows nothing about Sophie’s whereabouts, but secretly made it her mission to stop Araminta. Meanwhile, everyone was mingling at the reception with Sophie finding Benedict whilst collecting mint, praising her for being at the funeral. Despite showing her condolences, she was still planning on leaving, which resulted in Benedict pushing Sophie away in fear of not holding it together for Francesca’s sake, with them saying a final farewell. Later on, Francesca and Michaela were reflecting on the day, explaining how funerals are different in Scotland, suggesting just a celebration for his life, but Francesca opposed to it out of grief, only pushing Michaela away. The next day, Violet and lady Danbury were promenading and being grateful for coming to the funeral, talking about Charlotte letting her go and also about Marcus, giving her blessing to marry him should she choose to do so. Agatha also sensed that Violets mind is on Francesca, but gave advice on grief and how each person processes it differently. Back at Bridgerton Houde, Sophie was asking Hazel, John and the servants about the necklace, with Hazel suggesting it’s a sign that she shouldn’t leave after it happened, but Sophie was thinking the opposite. We then saw Penelope and Eloise visiting Francesca, with Penelope suggesting his writing can be helpful, but Francesca wanting to keep calm and revealing she’s with child. At the palace, Charlotte was asking Agatha about Francesca and how loss can affect people differently, and Charlotte was then talking about different things to distract herself from Agatha leaving, which include Whistledown. We then saw Violet visiting Benedict, sorting out Francesca’s situation, and tried to avoid the conversation on Sophie. This then led to Benedict questioning Violets advice on finding a love match, coming as a surprise to her when he reveals he’s in love with her, and then asked her if she would do the same thing. It then got Violet noticing Sophie and made out she’s looking for dust, but thanking her for the funeral. There was a real sweet moment when Violet revealed that would approve of her and asked if she’s running from anything, which she denied, wishing the world was different. And it wasn’t just Francesca johns funeral has affected. As Hyacinth and Gregory were arguing, with then revealing she wanted to delay her debut following the funeral and previous deaths, agreeing with Eloise‘s advice, but Eloise herself also showed concern. We also saw Marcus and Violet at the park to check in on Francesca, who both admit to thinking about their deceased lovers and reassuring of their loyalties and keeping their engagement a secret. In Mayfair, Sophie bumped into Alfie, who revealed Cressida already took on someone else, but also mentioned if a position in the Americas. Over an Kilmartin house, Benedict was coming with a member of the house of lords to see Francesca, revealing she’s with child and refused to have requested examination. It then got Benedict frustrated with societies ways following his involvement with Sophie, but went through with it anyway. There was more heartbreak on the way after the examination took place, revealing she’s not pregnant after all. It then led to sophie finding Benedict frustrated, but also worried about when he’ll next see Sophie. There were right to avoid a kiss to make it less heartbreaking whilst Violet checks in on francesca, finally letting out her grief and blaming herself, which was overheard by Michaela. We also saw Violet reflecting on the picture of her and Edmund, wondering on the life they could’ve had, and Mrs Wilson stating they only need their love. It then led to Violet checking in on Benedict, about to apologise but Violet reflecting on how him marrying Sophie would change their life completely, claiming she’s right and encouraged him to find Sophie and be with her, despite him saying she doesn’t want her. Whilst Sophie reflected on her journey to america, and whilst Benedict was reflecting, Araminta was having Rosamund prepared for her engagement, leaving out Posy after she made a joke. Posy then made out she wanted to read in private, leaving Varley in the dark and only then to find her escaping. Posy was actually seeing Sophie, and after being her quirky self, it then got her telling her about the shoe clips and told Sophie of her true feelings for her and how kind she was to her. It then got Sophie revealing of her job in America, advising her to stand up for herself. At Kilmartin house, Benedict came in to check in on Francesca, claiming the baby wouldn’t change what happened, and him using a tune in the piano to cheer her up and explained how she made a big impact in johns life. It then got Francesca coming to see Michaela, who explained how she really feels, and wanting her help to celebrate johns life. Back at the Penwood house, Araminta was fuming at Varley for losing Posy, and came back claiming she read a novel. But Araminta then showed her develish side, at first she was apologising to Posy and explaining her past (possibly explaining why it was), but wanting to keel Sophie a secret and revealed Varley saw Sophie, but revealed of her leaving for the Americas, but has a plan in place. Back at Bridgerton house, Hazel and John were reflecting on Sophie leaving, sensing a connection between the two, whilst also querying of her necklace, thinking it’s a reminder of her mistakes. Over at Kilmartin house, Michaelas event took place and giving a toast on johns life, which got everyone talking, and Francesca talking about John definitely got Benedict reflecting of his relationship with Sophie. It then led to Michaela and Francesca doing a Scottish dance, which got the mood going, with Benedict doing what he needs to do. We then saw Sophie about to leave and reflecting on when they first met, but Benedict spotted a necklace, which got him looking through his drawings and made him realise the lady in silver is Sophie all along, and the glove proved it after he found it. Hazel then revealed of Sophie’s move to the Americas, but Araminta got her arrested, with Benedict narrowly missing her. Finally, the last episode which was Episode 8: “Dance In The Country”, saw Sophie in jail, begging to be believed. But the cop made it clear that she could be sent for life if she were to be found guilty, warning her to be careful with who she sends a word to after trying to reach alfie. We the saw Charlotte sending out invitations to her ball, with francesca relieved about not going, still mourning john, and it was also a nice touch when mentioning how it’ll honour Agatha. At the Featheringtons, Portia was wanting to know the gossip, with Penelope wondering if she misses Varley, in which she strongly denies. Speaking of Varley m, she was seen next door chatting about Sophie and Rosumands proposal with Lord Stottor, who accepted it. I did feel bad for Posy when standing up to Araminta after finding out about Sophie getting arrested, and Varley was then seen chatting to Alfie about Sophie, leading to Bridgerton house. Whilst Violet was wanting to respect Francesca’s wishes when everyone was asking about her needs, Benedict then came in and mrs Wilson was then interrupting the family argument to announce Sophie’s arrest. At the jail, Araminta was then coming in, with Sophie standing up to her, but soon found a way to make her feel powerless. At the court, Benedict came just in time to help clear her name, making a compromise with magistrate Burton, determined to clear her name with evidence. I could feel Sophie’s emotion when she made it clear she didn’t want to be a burden, with Violet welcoming her with open arms. It was also kind of Mrs Wilson for upgrading her room, but she had to make the boundaries clear despite Hazel being excited for it. Sophie then stated why she didn’t tell the truth, with Benedict revealed that he loved her because she saw him, but was interrupted by footman John. At Lady Danbury’s house, Violet was suggesting to Agatha about a deal with the queen, who was willing to try before she goes, but also mentioned that her parents past won’t help. Violet was then refusing to let Agatha go on her trip, sharing one final moment of a farewell. At Bridgerton house, Hazel was distracting John (who clearly had chemistry between the two)c as Sophie came in to declare her love and talked about her father, and Benedict suggesting to find her fathers will after he asked why she would believe Araminta over her. Benedict then revealed his feelings and his family’s blessing of her, leading to a saucy bath scene taking place. Later on. Eloise found Sophie who was accepting of her, and requested her help to get into Penwood house. It was resulted in Eloise seeing Cressida as a distraction for Sophie to find her fathers will, with Alfie helping her when asking what was happening. During this, Violet reassured Benedict about the case, but Benedict clearly had doubts and asked about his life choices, with her talking about her youth which was similar to Benedict, hence why she maybe took a liking to Sophie. Back at the new Penwood house, Alfie and Sophie were still searching for the Will in the study, with Irma coming in and finding a set of keys, whilst Cressida was sensing Eloise’s real reason, thinking it’s because she wants to know about marriage, with a shared interest in an author got her thinking. Eventually, Sophie found the Will, finding some valuable information in it. Before she left, Eloise apologised to Cressida on her past experiences and how her parents treated her. Back at the palace, Agatha was reporting to Charlotte about Sophie’s trial, with Charlotte not being interested, but soon changed her tune when Agatha reveals her connection with Benedict and what she did for him, reflecting on Alice and Charlotte being right, but not accepting of the match. Soon Alice asking asking Will about Benedict, whilst also talking about her experience as a lady in waiting, wanting some more meaning in her life through wanting to help and taking a risk, with Will supporting her like the loving husband he is. And taking a rush she did indeed, with Alice coming to Benedict and Violet for another tactic, followed by Sophie coming to reveal her father left her money, proving Araminta stole from her, and talking about Alice’s plan to go to the queens ball. At Kilmartin house, Francesca was talking about Benedict’s scandal to Michaela, surprising but was not judgemental, then asking her to stay which she accepts. At Bridgerton House, Eloise found Hyacinth a feather, then telling her that not debuting is a bad idea and that it’s normal to be frightened and expressed about what marriage can give, with Hyacinth wanting to know herself first. Which I think is fair. The queens ball was fine talking place, with everyone saying goodbye to Agatha. The Penwoods then came in to announce Rosamunds engagement, with Violet and Benedict giving Sophie a pep talk. Whilst Colin and Penelope relieved if not having scandal, Eloise interacted with Posy, who advised her to not let her take control after speaking with Cressida, noticing her connection with lord Barnaby, encouraging her to go for it. But it was soon interrupted when Alice was wanting Araminta thinking she would see the queen, when really it was to see Sophie confronting her of her lie. Posy bless her was standing up to her and revealed the truth about the shoe clips. It was then that Araminta was showing her true colours, with Rosamund speaking her mind and Violet reminding her of her crimes and made an agreement. It’s a safe to say that Charlotte was pleased with the party, and Alice was wanting to share the love between Benedict and Sophie, recalling charlottes past and what the gossip is. This made Agatha very pleased indeed for when she goes. We then dad Charlotte coming in and used her father to help clear her name, getting charlottes approval, Araminta defeated and brought a bond between Posy and Sophie, with Benedict being proud of Violet. Km just glad Charlotte letting it slide, and whilst Stottor broke off the engagement, it was a happy time to see Posy with Barnaby. At the Featheringtons house, Varley was demanding an apology from Portia after getting a new job, but soon gave in and revealed Araminta dismissed her and soon got her back where she belongs. It then led to a beautiful moment where Benedict and Sophie were seen in public for the first time in public, with the two and Posy and Barnaby dancing. Whilst that was going on, Charlotte was talking about Alice, with Agatha reminding her of liking to be amused, and saying a final farewell. Benedict then finally asked to marry Sophie after asking to be seen, cementing charlottes wager. But there was a bittersweet moment after Marcus was praising Violet, who wanted an offer to reconnect with her youth, soon breaking off the engagement. I guess that’s reasonable, but I’m glad Violet saw that there was life after losing a loved one. I just can’t wait for the final season, with The new Lady Whistledown taking place, with Colin thinking it’s from Penelope, when in fact she’s working on her novel, along with Francesca finding out about Michaelas departure, and Agatha preparing to leave. It then ended with Benedict taking Sophie to the place then first met, and the post credits saw Sophie and Benedict’s wedding taking place, with Anthony having his blessing and Alfie giving Sophie away, ending with Benedict’s paining of the lady in silver finished. I do wonder who will be next in season 5, as Eloise stated to liking a wedding and Francesca adamant she won’t marry again (but we all know from the book that it won’t be the case).
Heated Rivalry:
This week I watched the final two episodes of the drama everyone had been talking about. Episode 5: “I’ll Believe In Anything”, saw the morning after Shane and Rose’s intimate evening, Rose getting ready and Shane stating that the reason why he’s in abit of a tense mood is due to the season stressing him out. Both Shane and Ilya looking at the comments of Shane and rose together, spotted by his colleague, whilst a Presenter was talking about Shane and Ilya being on the same team for an upcoming all star game whilst also talking about Scott. We then saw Shane meeting rose, talking about Miles, soon asking Shane if there’s any gay players, making him uncomfortable. She then came to asking about Miles and their relationship, and after using a bad analogy, Shane bravely revealed his sexuality whilst thinking about Ilya (which he didn’t reveal about). But the mood soon broke the awkwardness with Rose’s telling the tale of her many gay boyfriend. It was also nice of her when mentioning about wanting to be friends, offering a shoulder to cry on when Shane is adamant he doesn’t do feelings. We also saw Ilya and Sveltana talking about hockey and about Shane, with the comment on rose got him on edge. It then came to 2017 in Tampa Bay seeing the all star game commencing, with Shane meeting Ilya and revealing no one came to watch them. After JJ came to have a laugh, the two got their flirt on, joking about his stylist and revealed he broke up with Rose. I could also see Shane being attracted to Ilya more after having a game in the pool with some of the younger ones whilst the game is taking place, followed by Ilya finding Shane on the beach and talking about compatibility and their flights. Shane then went to Ilya’s room, soon grilling him on their feelings and revealing he’s gay, along with his feelings for Ilya. But it looked as though Ilya’s tough exterior was about to come down, as he soon emotionally revealed why being openly gay would be difficult for Russia and his family (as his father has dementia), breaking down, but it only deepened their connection more. Two weeks later in Boston saw Shane and Ilya back together, talking about his family and the fans, followed by Ilya giving a pep talk to his team and joking about a goal deal. But there was then talk the next day revealing that he didn’t go to Nashville, which left Shane panicking about it. But it soon revealed that Ilya’s father is dead and updated him on the media and advising him to take care of himself, soon getting him “happier”. We were then taken to Moscow with the funeral of Ilya's father taking place. But the meal/wake saw him having one confrontation with Alexei, stopped by Sveltana, with Ilya making a final offer to cut him from his life completely, and rightly so. It was nice though to see Sveltana supporting Ilya, soon giving the hint that he’s gay and has his support, despite him not reciprocating the feelings she has. Ilya was then emotionally reporting back to Shane about everything, with Shane offering to speak in his language to help let off the weight (which was really sweet of him). During this he emotionally revealed his hatred for his family and his support from Svetlana and love for Shane. Even though he may not understand it all, Shane could tell he had a lot of weight to carry. One week later saw ilyas return and Shane giving him a code to his room, sparking curiosity from Hayden, with Shane being convincing him his tough exterior being an act. The game then commenced, but a distraction led to Shane getting injured, with ilyas concern sparking the news. Ilya was then checking in on Shane, adamant his teammate didn’t mean to hurt him, with Shane clearly on the laughing gas. But that didn’t stop him making a joke about his teammate, revealing he was going to inviting him to come to his cottage, and considering it was a start. We then moved to May 2017 seeing Shane at his cottage in Lanaidiere, talking to Rose about his injury and her film, also asking his parents and why she hasn’t come, but continued tj make a joke about it. We then saw Shane and his parents talking about the game whilst watching it, revealing of Ilyas visit and talking about Scott, followed by Shane and Ilya texting, and talking about Scott. But the biggest shock of their life and a life changing decision was about to commence, as one week later saw the New York admirals aka Scott’s team win, with Shane and making out he’s texting Hayden and Yuna asks him. The surprise came when after Kip was in the audience and sad about Scott, he then came into the limelight as Scott was bringing him to the ice, grabbing the attention of Ilya and Shane. It then led to Scott and Kip sharing a kiss, which was a success with the audience and a surprise to both families, with Ilya accepting Shane’s offer to come to the cottage. Finally, Episode 6: “Cottage”, took us to everyone watching the MLH awards, which saw m Scott win the valuable player award, and talking about Kip and his past, and hints about why he struggled with his sexuality for a long time, tributing it to Kip. We then moved to July in Ottawa, seeing Shane pick up Ilya, showing his appreciation whilst making sure no one saw him and laughing at what Shane told his parents to cover up the secret. They then at the cottage (making it clear it’s completely private), and Ilya soon was his usual Ilya self, making fun of his estate obsession, and a tour turned into passion, happy that they haven’t been with anyone since the last meet up, with Shane then suggesting to be honest with each other. After a trip to the en-suite room, the two enjoyed eating burgers whilst talking about Shane’s parents, with Shane hesitant to tell them about his sexuality. I’m glad he said that they wouldn’t mind if he was gay, but because it was with Ilya and the rivalry they had would make it more awkward. But soon Ilya was playfully teasing Shane about the fire, whilst getting a text from Rose, making it clear he was gay and teaching Ilya about Canada wildlife after mistakening a bird for a wolf (which I found quite funny). We then saw Ilya talking about his mothers death and how he found her, which was quite traumatic, hence his tough exterior and why he had to do so much for his family. They were then playing video games the next day, only to be interrupted by Hayden calling about the baby, only to be passionate again. Soon they were playing football (or soccer in Canada), whilst talking about which team he would sign up for next. Then the subject came to the next steps of their relationship, with Ilya talking about marrying Svetlana for the passport, admitting his feelings for Shane when mentioning of his many female fans. Shane was then quick in suggesting an alternative which was going to another team in Ottwana and do some charity work, which will eventually lead him to getting a citizenship and be together for real, and it led to professing their love for each other and consummating their relationship after a early morning sunrise. Shane was then suggesting starting a school and raising money for a mental health charity (which is not a bad idea). The two then got dinner on the go cooking after a swim, only to be interrupted by David who saw everything. Shane was understandably on edge, but I’m glad Ilya encouraged him to be honest with them, trying to crack a joke in the process. It then Shane and Ilya coming to his parents, with David stating he only came due to forgetting his charger. Eventually, Shane came out to his parents and revealed his love for Ilya. And Ilya was right when they revealed they had a hint he was gay, and soon got asking about when it started. I could also imagine how gutted when they were when the tel revealed they need to keep it quiet, leading to Ilya being bisexual and revealed that their love for Shane is genuine. They’re was also a lovely moment between Yuna and Shane, where she was apologising if Shane felt a certain way and shared a lovely moment. But going back into mother mode, she soon wanted to help, with Shane talking about his own plan, and Ilya teasing Shane about his mums genetics followed by talking about Scott. It was at that moment that Ilya comforted Shane and called him his boyfriend, with his parents proud. It then ended with a drive home and the two feeling positive of the future.
Personal:
Exercise:
This week I managed to still get my exercise in. These included my usual gym workout, where I did arms with my gym buddy, and for the bike, the timings for when I got to 10k were 12mins 41secs for bike on the Monday, and 13mins 49secs for bike on Sunday. I also managed to get to 15k, with the timings as seen below and did plenty of yoga. I think it's safe to say that it's a week of positivity with regards to exercise.
Darts:
This weeks session was interesting. I finished on double 6 after 8 missed darts on Tuesday, a 1 and then double 23 missed darts on the Sunday. So you could say there was two completely different sessions, but at least I got some good scores, including 91 and 50.
Cooking:
This week I made a new recipe in the form of a chilli prawn linguine. It was quite an experience, as I needed to balance out some flavour but not make it too spicy. But it was a hit with the family, and despite tasting abit of a chilli whilst cooking, it was absolutely tasty. I definitely think I will make this again some time in the future, and something to expand my skill set.
Survey:
This week I managed to get three days worth of surveys done. I think to this day it's a good way to help relax, and also a good form of self-care. I'm just glad I was able to clear them all on the websites I'm signed up to, and I hope to keep this momentum next week.
Premier League of Darts:
This week saw the darts come to the Welsh capital that is Cardiff, and there was plenty of action to see. It’s safe to say that the Welsh favoured Gerwyn Price and Johnny Clayton for obvious reasons, and they definitely made their mark. But ultimately Luke Littler won the night, and for some it would be great, but for obvious reasons, the crowd would’ve preferred Johnny to win it.
Gladiators:
This week I watched the quarter finals of the iconic game show. This week saw Helena and Millie face each other, along with Mo and Shaun aka shaunado. Neither the male or female contenders got off to the best of starts on the first two events, as “Everest” and “Unleashed” were a win for the Gladiators. And that didn’t stop Legend from trying to worm his way into trying to get into an event again . It was “Gauntlet” that got points for the contenders, with Apollo being disqualified for one of them. “Duel” saw the fastest time for a gladiator to knock a contender off of duel, with the female contenders scoring points whilst the male had zero. “The Edge” saw Apollo fall for Mo to claim maximum points, and “The Eliminator” saw Millie and Shaun be successful. But there could be a chance that either Helena and/or Mo could make the Semi-finals depending on who has the fastest time. So only time will tell.
Paralympics:
This week I watched segments of the Paralympic Winter Games. Despite only watching a short amount, it’s amazing to see those who have gone through adversities make a positive impact. Despite Great Britain not getting the results they wanted so far, events like this show that if you want it, you’ll find a way. If you don’t you’ll find an excuse. There was even one athlete from Team GB who was the first to compete with Motor Neurone Disease in the snowboarding, and already showing some inspiration to the community.
Britains Got Talent:
This week I watched another instalment of the show where the UK shows what they’re made of. Whilst I had to skip a few bits, there were definitely some stand out moments for me. The Rafikiz were the definition of strength and teamwork, and Emily Cass’ voice acting skills were brilliant to use as a little comedic skit, even if it did take me a while to get into it. Finlay LAST NAME was my favourite, as he shook everyone with an Elvis classic, and Antigravity definitely deserved the golden buzzer after a unique performance. Finally, Katherine O’Malley made a return but solo this time, and Alfred and Coral had me and the judges on the edge of our seats.

Gogglebox.
This week I watched more of the show where people watch TV. They also got a lot of stuff that has been happening. Ellie and Izzi found a present from Izzi's boyfriend Toby, and Sophie was telling Pete about making banana bread. Lee was talking to Jenny about someone giving him rude manners, and Dave and Shirley were reflecting on their meal they had. Twaine and Tristan were teasing Tremaine’s food palate, and Alfie reported to Andrew about his jacket he gave away and how it ended up in a charity shop, which I found quite amusing. And Sarah and Cheé were teasing Andre about his gym visit, and Pete told Sophie of a quirk he likes about his wife Paige. They also watched more memorable moments on the bidder. “Love Is Blind” saw Jessica and Chris on the rocks after moving in together, with a comment on her appearance shocking me and the goggleboxers and a huge red flag, and “Britains Got Talent” saw Baron and Vesper gross out the goggleboxers. “Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing” saw police officer George and sir Ben going to his house, having some politically incorrect views on how he sees the world, and “Celebrity Puzzling” saw shapeshifters and join the dots take place. “The Morning” made me surprised when Harold the robot from the university of Huddersfield, a living assured robot, made an appearance, showing their martial arts skills despite a technical error, and “ITV News” talked about Iran and Trumps involvement. Finally, “Alexander Armstrong In India” saw Alex meeting the Dabawalla’s, and “The Apprentice” saw Alan sending the gang to Egypt for the next task, with the food part not going to plan, resulting in a triple firing.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
I think my main challenge for this week would be the tasks I need to complete getting to me. I knew that this time of year would be the period that deadlines for my goals for January-March were coming, and it did cause me to lose my temper with a colleague at my “Proper Job” (which thankfully she understood). But as long as I keep doing my yoga, and take everything one step at a time, I’ll be okay. And given how it’s Mother’s Day next week, it’ll be an emotional one for me. So it’s important I take my time with everything and also look after myself in the process. And I have Margo, with me in these stressful times as seen below!

What have I learnt this week? As I’m coming to the end of March, have at least 30 minutes of self care to avoid burnout!
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
