Hello world! Welcome back to another blog, and also the week of Invisible Disability Week. This week had everything, which included filming an audition for something big, a challenge into Halloween baking, and learning of when my limit is when it comes to taking on multiple tasks. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 20th October 2025:

Professional:

Acting Class:

This week we had our regular substitute teacher who gave us a really good lesson. In this session, we continued on improvisation, specifically looking at the “Yes and…” rule which was a fun tool to learn. We also did a version where we had to cut out the rule but use different emotions at random points, which was also a lot of fun. We also did a couple of games, which include “Old King Cole”, a game where the first word of each sentence has to start with the last word of the previous sentence, and “one word stories”. We then did a version where we had to end with the phrase “Wise Wise Wise” as if it were a mantra, with some hilarious results. We then had a chat about monologues, which ones you should be looking for, and the best recommendations to find plays that have really good monologues. I performed mine and had some really good feedback, and will definitely take them on boars for the next session.

Acting Jobs:

This week as always I continued to apply for more acting jobs. As I’m writing this, i couldn’t audition for one job due to the distance which was a real shame, but with every negative comes a positive. As I managed to get an email back to doing an alternative way to audition for the company that could open a lot of doors for me in my acting career. So over the weekend I did just that, and I must say I’m quite pleased with myself for doing that.

Content Filming:

This week I filmed some content in preparation for Halloween this week. Even though I’m not at Belvoir Castle this year (and in the video my alter ego Luna Moonshine will reveal why that is), it didn’t give me the excuse to do something as a back up. Here is a selfie of me after finishing filming one part (where I was meant to take it with the lipstick but I completely forgot until I took it off lol!)

Content Posting:

As part of Invisible Disabilities Week, I did a post on perfection in autistic people and the negative impacts it can have. I feel this is important, and I hope anyone reading this will be able to see that it’s normal to have different views of what perfection is. See the link below where you can watch the full YouTube video:

Please also see a link to a blog version of it, where I describe what my definition is, the pros and cons and how to manage overwhelm due to overthink on perfection:

Casting Directors Email:

This week I sent some emails to some comedy casting directors, as it got to the three month mark for them. I also asked a question in the act on this community about when I should mention about my show in December, which I got a brilliant answer from producer Petch. But overall I’m very pleased that I managed to send them and update with what I’ve been up to, and going into November where I have more emails to send, I’ll know what to mention using the same format but just tweaking it a little bit.

Gig Update:

This week I did a short but sweet meeting about the upcoming performance on Thursday and running through little things. So in this case, we mentioned about the backstory, who is the devil and why I’m at the event. I’ll admit, I couldn’t done more leading up to this, but at the same time I don’t want to overcomplicate things to make it look too rehearsed. So as long as I make a note of what is happening in the scene, who my objective is and the backstory of my character then I think I’m onto a winner.

Act On This Podcast:

This week I listened to a podcast with director Ruth Carney. What I loved about this one was how blunt and honest she was, about why she likes, dislikes, what Hannah Walters is really like to work on set after working with her on a feature film, and learning about how putting in the extra work will help you get ahead of others. This gave me real inspiration for the rest of the year going into 2026, knowing what I need to before the Open House event (as afterwards that’s when I’m going to take a break for the Christmas holidays).

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 15th and 17th October. During this, we saw Asha coming out of the hospital, making it clear she doesn’t want anyone else to know. But it’s clear she was still struggling, asking for some space when Gemma had to shut the shop to pick up one of her kids and Dev becoming too in her face even though he’s only trying to help (which I know is something my dad would do if I went through a traumatic experience). This then saw Bernie reading an article about Naomi, with dev telling her about Asha’s wellbeing and telling Gemma not to say anything. And whilst Bernie is plotting something, after Kirk told Dev not to be too hard on himself, she also reassured him that Asha isn’t mad at her during dinner, but it causes tension for newly weds. I’m just looking forward to Bernie being Bernie. Outside of it, Glenda was hosting a Mr and Mrs competition, but it definitely had more drama amongst the game show. Todd woke up with a hangover from the previous episode, with Billy asking about Theo. But Todd coming in to find Theo cheating on him with Pete obviously sent him over the edge, but Glenda saying something about not giving up on something struck a cord with him. Now I would be annoyed when Theo is acting casual about his fling, which then prompted Todd to revealing about his cancer scare. I was shocked at how Theo twisted it, making Todd think that he was emotionally cheating on Theo, prompting Todd to kick him out (and you know what I don’t blame him). The Mr and Mrs competition got underway, with Gemma and Chesney signing up, hoping it’ll take her mind off of Asha, and Billy opening up about last years win with Paul. But there was a punishment that seems funny, with Tim suffering from two of them and Sally having one which did the trick, and Gemma having a shot of vodka during their round which was brilliant. During the game, Billy being the good friend he is showed concerned for Todd, and was roped into the Mr and Mrs game, all to make Theo jealous. Despite doing well, doing well, Billy told it to him straight about his intentions, with Theo pinning the blame on Todd about his reasons, with the two talking it through, stating how they wanted to hurt each other. but Todd Todd telling Billy to keep their distance was obviously a suggestion made by Theo. Sarah also asking Todd about Theo adding make her see the whole truth, where she talked about the silver lining, which resulted in Theo getting a new car after the other one broke. But outside of the competition, whilst Tracy mocked Cassie on her eating habits and steaming her clothes, Sally telling Cassie about the Mr and Mrs competition (hoping it’ll help ease tension between her and Tim), and revealing that Fiz is the week off to look after Tyrone  resulted in Cassie telling Tyrone about Fiz’s whereabouts. But I’m glad he was understanding when Fiz told him about how stressed she’s been, knowing she had to not only look after Tyrone, but to also help look after and provide for her family. But it resulted in Cassie getting kicked out, and Ken made clear to Tracy that Cassie is staying, whether she likes it or not. Mary them encouraged Tracy to get to know Cassie after complaining about her, and after rejecting a gift Cassie gave Tyrone telling Fiz from Tracy, I feel like we may have another funny feud coming along. Meanwhile after Bethany wished Shona luck on her baby scan, revealing and she wants to know the gender but David doesn’t, it all came to a halt when David wasn’t able to make it due to getting stuck in a lift. Bethany then gave Shona a way of de-stressing with self-care, revealing that she didn’t want to go without him. During this, Audery offered Bethany some shifts at a nail salon, along with encouragement from Shona. But after thinking it might be a backward step, with Audery asking the same question, but Shona's treatment made her accept the offer, realising how therapeutic it is. But she was definitely thrown into the deep end when Hope comes for work experience. After repeating what she’s learnt, a customer mentions about some pills that’ll make her look more pretty, with Bethany stating they’re a scam after going through her own experience. Bur after accusations on when they go missing, an argument resulted in Bethany’s stoma bag getting burst. After Hope admitted to taking the pills, the customer left a bad review, but Bethany turns the tables when she threatens to call the police after mentioning about how promoting pills to underaged people is a criminal offence. This then led to Hope revealing that she wanted something to make her look prettier, with Bethany telling her about her experience, telling her that it’s all about what’s inside, hoping it’ll help, with Cassie stating about how it’s hard being a woman. But it was nice that Bethany made it clear she doesn’t hate Cassie and how she’s helped Hope, little knowing she’s suffering in silence. More drama outside of the game included Carl promising Abi about their own place, feeling guilty for staying at Roy’s. But bless him, he reminding Abi she’s not a burden and that hers and Carl's relationship is none of his business. But her not getting a job resulted in Abi confronting Kevin about the reference for the job, with Kevin revealing Jack did it, showing the email as proof. She then told  Carl about it, and Tracy’s interference may not have been helpful at the time, but Carl mentioning about being half of Kevin’s assets may not be a bad idea. Finally, Betsy was struggling with college stuff, but Lisa is impressed by her work. But when Betsy asked her to help with the modeling, she sought to asking asking Becky. I must say it was great seeing the family modelling the dress and reminiscing old times, whilst having a modelling competition, only to realise that Betsy posting it on her socials led to Costello seeing it. Betsy made it clear that only a few could see it, but not coming home sent the two mums worrying. after asking Brody for help, Kit told them she’s been arrested, taking her anger on Becky. This led Betsy being questioned and Kit promising Lisa to see her. Whilst all this was happening, Costello met Becky and twisting words about Betsy, telling her to leave as Betsy told Lisa she didn’t do it. This then prompted in Lisa telling Becky to leave after revealing how Betsy can be locked up, but Becky is up to something as she states about staying over and asking Costello to bring Lisa and Betsy with her to Spain, which seemed to be working when Lisa updates Carla, with Becky trying to trick Lisa into think Carla doesn’t care, worming her way in. I also watched the show from 20th October. We saw it with Betsy still in a cell, but Becky was adamant she’ll get out after giving her evidence. This then led to Lisa convincing them to let Betsy go and speak to Costello, who confronted him, claiming she never touched him, threatening with a complaint. Costello then told her that Becky wanted to come home numerous times but he was the one that blocked her. I’m just glad that Betsy was home, praising Becky for her efforts despite Lisa questioning how she got it, and then revealed what Costello said to Becky. Soon afterwards, Becky got in touch with Costello about the next phase, and whilst Betsy got a drink from Roy’s, with Kit getting suspicious in a jokey way, Lisa and Becky reconnected, nearly getting caught by Roy and Betsy. Whilst Betsy showed Becky her college work, Lisa tried to explain herself, with Becky “making it” clear she went too far. I can also understand Betsy’s fury after overhearing that Becky is going to Spain, with Betsy saying she’d find a way to stay if she really cared, disowning her again. She then pleased with Becky to let Lisa work something out, but Becky then asked her to come with her. During this, Roy asked Lisa if she still loved Becky despite saying she loved Carla, where the answer was yes, explaining how much it impacted her life, also asking Roy in his own way what he would do linking to Hayley. It then led to Lisa asmitting she would still pick Carla, with Roy suggesting that Becky went back to Spain. Lisa later told Betsy there’s nothing she can do to make becky stay, and asking about if it’s anything to do with Carla, where lisa made it clear that it was. But unbeknownst to her, Becky secretly told Betsy to make her own decisions but wants to come with her. The question is, how will this all pan out? Meanwhile, we saw Bernie making things up with Dev, seeing messages of everyone knowing about what happened to Asha. We then saw Dev researching about depression, whilst accidentally spilling a drink on Asha, which made her mood slip more. Gemma was desperate to help Asha, but Kit and Bernie told her not to after the last experience, followed by Kit revealing that Naomi has a history of aggressive behaviour. It was good that Glenda was there to comfort Dev, telling him to just be him, and he opened up about how hard it’s been seeing Asha growing up. But later on, Asha cooked as a way of apologising to Dev, but was furious with him for telling everyone else, which is understandable. After Bernie told Gemma about Asha pushing Dev away with bernie, with Gemma mentioning that she knows Naomi lives, it looks like a plan is about to commence. In other news, Theo askied Todd on where to go in his new car, reminiscing on the kids but was interrupted by a text from Gary. And whilst Sarah updated him on her leaky tap, Theo camd in with Pete wanting to see him again. But Theo making it clear it was a mistake led to losing his temper, causing Pete to leave in the process. As always, he took it out on Todd again, and he was also in Garys bad books on controlling his temper. Elsewhere,  Bethany refused to try on her Halloween costume, denying it’s linked to her stoma, but focused her attention on doing Hopes nails, with her wanting to post on her socials. Whilst Hope was still getting online hate, and after doing some mantras, Bethany revealed about her stoma insecurities being the real reason why she doesn’t want to try on the Halloween costume. Who would’ve thought that Hope flipped the situation back to make her change her mind, which laid off as Sarah, Kit and Harry liked Bethany’s costume, with even then being surprised after revealing how Hope helped her. Finally, Christina convinced George to take a break, knowing how hard he’s working. It was a good job she was there to answer the phone when George sleeps, and Glenda mocked his sleep apnea. And whilst George’s and Christina’s bond grows, he asked Glenda to take things up a notch with a karaoke machine, but a text about an award (which out of context sounds inappropriate) was negative after saying he turned down a lifetime achievement award in the funeral department. I have a feeling it may be linked to Christina’s interference, but the question is… if it can be sorted, how will it happen?

Hollyoaks:

This week I watched the big 30th anniversary week, all directed by the brilliant David Crowley. It all started on Mondays episode, where preparations for Tony and Diane’s wedding took place, with Anthony, Dee Dee and Ro got suited and booted, with Eva looking gorgeous in her dress. But before that, Clare was celebrating with joy, and getting dodger to be the good guy and catch Jez. There was a problem when he was nowhere to be seen, with Jez having a plan of his own. Following this, Grace implored Ste to help Rex, who’s still against Grace. This led them to the abandoned junk yard, telling him that tori is innocent in all of this. After seeing the light (with Sienna having to miss the wedding to see to her), grace and Rex come alone, with them and froggy telling Clare that it’s over. But after trying to kill Rex, grace got caught in the cross fire, and after seeing spoilers, something tells me it doesn’t look good. Clare meanwhile thinking she’s made her escape, was shocked to see Jeremy very much alive. And after trying to get her money, a flip of the switch caused the plane to go into overdrive. Elsewhere, Peri was relieved when Tom accepted her proposal, with the reason why he left was because he had to tell Steph. But I wonder how she’ll react when she sees James, who made her keep quiet about him and agreed to wait an hour meet Ste after she begrudged him on his so called death. But the wedding itself caused the most drama, and it wasn’t Mercedes who caused the drama. Tony dancing with Nancy pushed Darren’s buttons, leading to reveal to everyone about their affair and Morgan’s paternity. And after Marie also revealed her pregnancy, Diane confronted Tony, thinking she may have regretted her decision to marry him. And her starting to drink again is only the start of the massive anniversary week. Tuesdays episode saw the plane eventually crashing into the Dog and love boat, with Leela prompting everybody to stay inside. But Jack went out anyway, knowing that Darren was caught in the crossfire. But him telling Nancy they’re over couldn’t come at a worse time, when an explosion occurred which knocked her out. But they weren’t the only people affected, Mercedes is helped by Diane after revealing she doesn’t hate her personally, but there could be trouble for her unborn baby, and Marie had been lying about her pregnancy the entire time (which tbh I kind of suspected). Peri was also caught on the crossfire after trying to find Tom and push him out of the way, and sadly met a horrific end. It was sad yes, but all I can say is good luck to Ruby O'Donnell for whatever adventures may come her way next. I just hope that Ste will be able to get to James, asking him why he pretended to be dead all this time. There was also trouble for sienna and Cleo, who witnessed Dodger telling her he loved her after saving her life. This then led to the kiss being revealed, with Sienna obviously furious. But Jeremy making an appearance and asking Sienna to kill Dodger came with a shocking surprise. But I have a feeling she’ll either do it, or pretend so that she can get Jeremy herself. Finally, Wednesdays episode was the one I’ve been waiting for, with the Brookside crossover taking place. But there was more in the village, as the aftermath of Peris death sent Leela into shock, whilst James couldn’t wait for Ste any longer, little knowing what’s happened. And Jeremy met a grizzly end when dodger managed to break free of him. Whilst at the hutch, the aftermath of what happened hit everyone hard, resulting in multiple people apologising to Leela for her loss, knowing how much Peri means to everyone in the community. But with Cleo suddenly going into labour, Sienna will have to put her feelings for her and dodgers betrayed aside to help her. And with Mercedes losing her baby, she, Darren and Diane were adamant they want tony gone. With Darren already there to confront him, the question is who shot tony? But there’s more trauma on the horizon, with grace meeting a evil end just as she and Rex were fixing things, and things also didn’t look good for Nancy. Clare however was still on the loose, with letting Froggy know about his contacts, and telling Donny about his secrets. This then led him to Brooke side close, seeing Shelia Grant, telling Donny how it is about his daughter Gemma. with some residents getting their usual gossip like Tim, who later on met Marie who went under the name Pauline (which was mentioned in a previous episode). During the visit, residents Billy and Barry also gave Donny a piece of his mind, and when Gemma saw Donny, mad about faking his death under the name Mick Johnson, revealed her boyfriend is Warren, and they are currently in danger. Meanwhile, of the teens going out is definitely linked to Hollyoaks Later, whilst one resident queries about food banks. And clearly this show is just as tense as Hollyoaks, with Bob wanting to win back Shelia after finding out they broke up, but had a one night stand before. It’s safe to say I can see why Brookside was a good show when it was on.

Hollyoaks Later:

As part of the 30th anniversary week, I watched the revamped Hollyoaks: Later, directed by the incredible Sean Glyn. And I can see why it’s called that, as it’s definitely not a family show. It all started where we picked up where we left off with Donny, Warren and Gemma escaping, but Warren resulting to an alternative (with Donny thinking he did a runner). This then led to the trio arriving at Gemma’s boss’ house, whilst she berated Donny, whilst Warren asked if the two guys were sent by Clare. Whilst that was happening, Theresa ringing Warren whilst being confronted by dodger, leaving Gemma with Donny. But Griff and his colleague sully caught them whilst Dodger ran out of battery, who then revealed to Theresa she’s wanted to Interpol, telling her how bad the consequences will be. At the house, Griff and sully wanted 100k, with Warren thinking he’s bluffing, but was serious when he shoots Gemma, prompting him to get the money and losing his temper again. Theresa then found out about Jeremy and what it’s mean for Myra-Pocahontas, and Dodger declining her offer for a drink, and rightly so knowing what he’s about to get himself into. At the house, Gemma revealed she didn’t have kids due to a heartbreaking reason, whilst berating him again for leaving her and how it impacted her life, but admitted that they never stopped loving each other. Dodger managed to catch Griff and snuck into the house, but resulted in not taking the shot, whilst Theresa gave the diamonds to Warren. Gemma then revealed the truth to dodger, and Donny then revealed his link with froggy, with Griff and sully coming back. Theresa gave Warren backlash about her money, knowing she can’t go back to what she was doing before (which my guess was, something not great but what she had to do). But one moment that was kind of hard to watch was Dodger seeing Donny attacked and sexually harassed himself, with Gemma berating them for what they did to him with sully saying avoid the plan. Thankfully Warren came back, but something Griff and sully said didn’t strike anything about diamonds, and after freeing Donny and dodger, they go back to get Theresa (who was behind all of this I think) and the diamonds. But during a chase for the theirs, Warren pleaded with Donny to leave after he kills Griff. Whilst all this was happening, the teens are living it up in Liverpool. Charlie was hyping up everyone for a night out, whilst Dillon is messaging ste and avoiding calls from him. In a bid to keep him sane, Lucas took one of Charlie’s pills whilst celebrating their last night in Liverpool. Frankie during this asked Vicky about Charlie, but she stated that Robbie wanted her to live her life, which is fair enough. During the rav, Lucas queried about Dillon’s mood whilst he pleaded with him to slow down, with Dillon then telling Frankie he doesn’t want to be with him, telling her he can’t relate with frankie getting it. It didn’t help that Brookside resident Esme asked for the toilet (which she eventually apologised for and inviting her for a drink), but Lucas overheard everything when Dillon rang ste about about him.with him overhearing everything. Whilst Vicky and Charlie get it on, Lucas wanted another pill which were eventually gone, and Dillons search for him led to finding him on the brink of suicide. Dillon then claimed he’ll never leave him, with him, Esme and Frankie bringing Lucas home whilst bickering with Charlie after getting it on with Vicky. But one good thing that came out of it was Frankie and Esme getting close, reflecting on her struggles of getting intimate. Despite revealing she’s bit gay, Esme told her to have no regrets and take risks. But good on Frankie for doing something which after the traumatic experience she’s had, would be difficult to even think about. But whilst that’s happening, Dillon goes out with Ste coming just in time to stop him relapsing. this then prompted Ste in telling Dillon Lucas needs him after revealing peri is dead. But Dillon agreed to stay with Lucas whilst he still reveals his feelings Ste, with him adamant he doesn’t feel the same. But it all came to a halt when after Charlie admitting he’s been a bad person, when Frankie eats a call from Darren about Nancy after liking Sully on a dating app. And when Ste and Dillon admitted their feelings for each other, both of them got cracked by a car following Donny and warrens chase being, only to be found by Lucas and Frankie. I can see why it was popular when it was on, and a brilliant way to end a anniversary of the show based in Liverpool.

Eastenders:

This week we saw an accident happening, one residents secrets slowly dropping, and one resident revealing a secret linking to their missing child. Mondays episode saw Tommy adamant that he’s not going back to school following Joel’s arrest. And Zoe made it clear to Ross about how he’s really feeling whilst having a drink with Harvey, Ian and Alfie. I do get why lily said that everyone in school is not on his side, but if she could see how much he regrets his actions, then things might change. It also caused tension between Zoe and Jean, still blaming her for Stacey’s move to Brazil, with Jean refusing to apologise following a comment about how Stacey was the only thing she had in her life. Meanwhile Lexi is still not keen on Johnny, ditching her present from him. But Callum made it clear she will come around, and revealing his possible investor to him elaine and Gina may be the start he needs. Elsewhere, Nigel sold his car to help pay for his holiday to India, despite an accident caused by his dementia. But after a chat with Yolande and finding the spare keys, he lost his temper and decided to take the car out for a spin one last time, but not before hitting Jasmine and Gina. Oh dear… Okie also managed to cover his tracks when George queried on Kojo's absence after mentioning that Kobina missed his regular call from him, then Harry (who was in a bad state), told Kojo to run. And Oscar is having the time of his life after getting his tag removed, but his efforts to impress jasmine didn’t go to plan, and it left her and Gina talking about Cindy. After reading an article about jasmines true motives, maybe it is linked to Cindy. Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from Nigel’s crash, and Jasmine mentioned about getting revenge, which after talking about Cindy in the previous episode, it’s starting to become clear. Julie meanwhile, made a decision in a moment of panic, and it led to Jean finding out that it was Nigel that did it. It’s a good job she kept it quiet, knowing about her experience with Zoe will not do her any favours, and also Julie realising that despite not being able to drive, going for one last ride was so important to him. But Julie has now got more pressure added when she lies to Nigel, and their trip to India may be on hold. And with Oscar being by Jasmines side, I wonder what he and George are thinking when the doctor mentions about her mum and not making the trip? Outside of this incident Tommy is still on edge about going back to school. But Zoe gave him some advice on how to handle it, knowing that the longer he hides away, the worst it’ll get. Now that seemed to have done the trick, but with a decline about one PI to help find her son, drama is going to go down when she takes money from the takings. Johnny meanwhile meets old friend Tim, who made it clear he wants to invest after Johnny helped him during university. Zoe has obviously taken a liking to him, and I think Callum is getting a little bit jealous. And teddy is concerned about Harry’s whereabouts, voicing his concerns to Billy, pointing out that a typo was one sign, and that he wasn’t interested in history. Okie meanwhile is making it clear to make Kojo forget what harry said and bring him back. I just hope someone finds him or that Ravi gets back in time before it’s too late. Wednesdays episode saw Nigel waking up after dreaming about the incident. During the episode, he noted down clues as to what happened on the night, with something Jasmine said made him leave when he asked, and also checking up on Gina. But he was confused when he mentioned about not seeing a certain film after he stated that he logged it in his book ages ago (which I assume is there to help with his memory). But after finding his shoes, he put two and two together to realise that it was him who did it, ordering Jack to arrest him on the spot. But the question is… what now? And elsewhere, Zoe was honest about taking the money after Alfie told Kat not to jump to conclusions, and even though the PI was genuine this time, there was still no success. And Kat was still suspicious on something, particularly on who the father of her son is, and I dread to think how she’ll face Kat after overhearing her telling Alice about kicking her out possibly. Elsewhere, Callum I feel was joking about Johnny's friend Tim after finding out out he’s gay, and a comment made him wary about what his real intentions were. Elaine how we told him not to worry, so I just hope Tim is in it for the right intentions. And whilst Gina was wishing Harry would pick up her calls, Okie brought in Kojo, who brainwashed him into thinking that everything will be fine. Now kudos to Kojo for not taking the pill, but I don’t know what will happen next. Finally, Thursdays addition of the soap saw Nigel trying to take responsibility, refusing to have an appropriate adult. Following his interview, Julie said her own versions, which disappointed him that she lied to him again. And when jack revealed to George of their whereabouts, he was obviously angry, but also sympathetic, knowing that his dementia is unable to make him remember everything. But George then asked Julie about reporting it back to Phil after Nigel locks the back door, but she declined the offer, and then after going through the front door, the couple had an honest chat. Ian’s I understand why Nigel wanted to hand himself in, and even if he has to spend the last few years of his life in a cell, he wants to do it whilst he’s still Nigel. But good on Julie for showing her support even though it’s probably killing her. Meanwhile, a trick from Bert and Ernie resulted in Zoe rescuing a cat after initially thinking it was a trick. But this then led to an honest chat about hie Zoe overheard Kat telling Alfie about kicking her out when Kat asked about the cat that got rescued, leading to Zoe revealing that the father of her son isn’t who Kat thought he was. But the question is, who is the father? Finally, Johnny buying Lexi a present with the money from his business to get in her hood books backfired, as during a dinner with Billy and honey (where Johnny didn’t know after initially suggesting to go out), Billy stated what the intention was behind the gift Johnny bought her, and reminding Callum of what Lola taught Lexi about appreciating the small things first.

I Fought The Law:

This week I watched the final episode of the drama based on a true story, giving me newfound inspiration. It started with a flashback, 12 years before Julie’s murder, with a neighbour telling her that she and Charlie are getting kicked out because of his race. We also got to see why Charlie fell for her, as not only is she a caring mother and grandmother, but she also likes her strong, feisty independent side. Fast forward to the aftermath if Lees retrial, we saw Ann meeting jack straw in her mission to get the double jeopardy law changed, demanding what he’ll do about it. Jack was then honest in how long it’ll take, which then she flipped the situation around. asking him what he would do if he was in her shoes. He then gave her the name of the law commission, encouraging her to use her voice. During this process, Ann revealed she wants to retire from the NHS, using her energy for her goal. Charlie reminded that her it could take years, but was willing to be by her side. Following this, Kevin, now a teenager, found the newspapers after telling Ann about what the kids at his school were saying, asking why she kept the truth. But deep down I think he knew Ann didn’t want to hurt him knowing how young he was at the time, stating he can be honest, leading to the truth coming out. After not hearing from the law commissioners, Ann made the suggestion on going to London to meet them herself, but Charlie stating he doesn’t have the energy due to a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis changed her priorities. But bless him he encourages her to keep fighting, knowing that she’ll ever find peace if she doesn’t get justice. This then led Ann going on the local radio station on why the double jeopardy law should be changed, whilst doing more campaign work and going on tv to confront imran Khan about it, asking how he would feel if this was happening to his daughter. This then led to a meeting with one commissioner Alan Wilkie, who saw the debate on the tv with Charlie telling the news to Ann in the process. Ann then headed into the meeting, where they’ll make the review a priority but leading to a retrospective decision. But after one member mentioned about lees appeal, followed by Alan revealing about a victim impact statement after not receiving her original one, with Alan being surprised himself, she is even more determined and makes it clear the other one will be read. Before Ann and Charlie headed out for Gary’s birthday meal, her worry intensified when she hadn’t heard anything from the CPS about. getting her statement. Kudos to her for going down their herself and confronting them herself, demanding that she should be listened to. You know when you should do something ASAP, when even the officer confirming that she should be listened to. If Ann did this in real life then well done to her for doing something no one would dare to do. Although it did cause her to miss Gary's birthday meal, but Charlie wasn’t mad at her, knowing it was something she needed to do. But it was with it, as Lee’s appeal was declined, meaning that was one thing off of her list. With Alan updating hear on the double jeopardy law, Kevin went with Ann and Charlie to the home office to find the double jeopardy law is retrospective and celebrating this success. But it wasn’t over just yet, as Frank mentioned on how the lords will handle it with Ann requesting a speech to them. This then led to Ann going to the house of lords, where we’ve started at the beginning of the series, with Ann ditching her speech and talking about how it feels for her to go through what she did and how it’s impacted her life. I mean, it takes some guts when at first they weren’t interested, but her words coming from the heart definitely got their attention. Following this, Gary convinced Ann to move on, whether it’s because she missed his birthday meal I don’t know. But it couldn’t have come at a more perfect timing, when Frank announced on his birthday that the lords agreed to change the law, with Ann being relieved that it’s finally over. I loved how they used real life footage showing the news, and getting a segment of Ann’s impact statement resulted in Lee getting life in prison. During an interview with Ann getting questioned on what’s next (with Frank saying the impact she’s made), the line dancing said it all really. And seeing Julie as a hallucination was a sign to let her go, knowing she achieved something no one else would ever do. I loved how during the transcript showing what happened after the case, the real Ann Ming made a cameo appearance, and let’s just say I need to go like dancing with her. But all in all a brilliant show to watch, inspiring me to go that extra mile to get what I want. As if Ann Ming can do it, so can I.

Waterloo Road:

This week I watched the rest of the popular school drama. Amy came back to help the students with the community centre, but not before helping a lady called Mo aka Noel’s nan, who mentions about Pete Weever. With Mitch talking about why the community is important, especially to Portia, and despite Mike coming after finding out that Mo didn’t get the clearance from councillor Kevin, she'd somehow for the green light, but not before Debs was hanging out with him. It turns out as well that since revealing he was moving back in with him, Schuey had been sleeping rough within the community centre, with Joe checking in and not realising the full extent of his situation, whilst he revealing he overheard his conversation with Mike. But when Schuey asked for a home from Pete, he revealed that he needs to do a “task” after, aka selling weed. It all started with Aleena and Lois, who were complaining about the job whilst Schuey makes them a deal, which resulted in them getting high, which upsetting Ben, already on edge (but I’ll get to that in a moment) but decided to join in. And Agnes and Schuey ended up arguing about him not letting going his hate, with her reporting it to Portia and also got checked up by Tyler. Portia then tried to give Schuey a wake up call, with Dean revealing he’s been homeless. Pete also broke his promise, and even though he wasn’t realising it, he was starting to get hints that something wasn’t right. Portia then told Agnes about how Schuey is sleeping rough, then revealing it to Mitch and Joe, with once again Agnes giving him a wake up call but pushes her away. This then prompted Mike (who once again had disagreements with Joe about him), telling Schuey to come back home, which ended up in a game of cat and mouse to Dean weever, with the camera being knocked over and Aleena and Lois reporting it. Schuey, along with Agnes imploring him to stop, realised the extent of what he was doing. Providing he got a statement he won’t get in trouble. In the aftermath of this, Debs and Amy caught Aleena and Lois on weed, and getting them to call their parents and forgetting who they got it from. Schuey then made the decision to move back in with Mike and joe, and good on him for standing up to Tyler on his thoughts of gay people, saying how he doesn’t want to believe in that type of god. It also made the bond between Schuey and Agnes stronger, as he apologises to her, whilst she praising his heroics and seeing that they are meant to be together. If that’s not love I don’t know what is. Outside of all this drama, Joe talked to Mitch about what’s been going on at home whilst also asking why Ben would come back, with Mitch opening ho about his childhood and how he got into SENCO. After Mitch overhearing mike and joes conversation earlier on, revealing the workload, it led to a charged moment between the two. Meanwhile Ben got annoyed about Stella checking on every 10 minutes (which I don’t blame him) for, and after a game of Kerby to decide who does what, a comment from Portia triggered his buttons. This then led him to offering Izzy weed but not getting asked to be boyfriend and girlfriend the right way only pushed her away. Cat, putting her hate for her aside, asked Izzy about Ben, who revealed about having weed and finding him to get his head into gear. But after Ben apologising to Izzy, I don’t know if Cat is jealous. Possibly by Izzy? Who knows! During the cleanup, Noel and Stace getting caught getting frisky by Mo (Noel’s nanna) and telling her he needed to look busy for his nan. But being the excited grandparent she was, Mo obsessed over the engagement, but noel and Stace disagree on what they want. And he told Mo about it, Stace revealed that she doesn’t want kids, with Noel wondering why, telling her to focus on growing up before she’s honest with him. Later on, Mo apologised to her, revealing she was right, leading to Stace telling her on what her mum did to Stella, and Mo gave her advice on what they want, with Mo supporting with her decision but needs to be honest with Noel. This then led to Stace revealing about a baby at 13, breaking off their engagement, with Dean mocking him. But good on Noel for giving Dean a reality check. Noel then realised how all he wants is to be with her, and after Mo thanked the school for helping out, stayed longer for a party. Stace soon revealing where her kid is, and Noel seeing her interact with his niece made him see she can be a good mum, but also being the nice lad he is, doesn’t want her to feel pressure into having a kid if it’s definitely not what she wants. Finally, Tyler asked Libby on how she was with Jared being found guilty. But her mood shifted when she was being confronted by Dean, causing her to have flashbacks. And Tyler describing Lois and aleena to her also triggered her bad memory. But I’m glad Amy was there to reassure her that it’s not her fault, also mentioning how she needs to be kind to herself. This then gave Libby the idea to look at her acting career again, not just for her, but for Amy as well, in her own cheeky way. Episode 7 aka the penultimate episode started with Joe giving the staff updates on the tree, Ben and Wendy’s last day, but not before seeing Jack going to an alcoholic anonymous meeting with Darius watching and revealing everything. Obviously Darius would be surprised with Jack going, but offering him his support was a way of being up to something (which I’ll mention later on). Following the last episode, Schuey was keen to get the fostering arrangement sorted. with Mitch witnessing Mike and Joe, sensing his disappointment when Joe suggested going to dinner with Mike and schuey, but he was wanting a takeaway instead. Mitch later apologised to Joe whilst he wants some space for now anyway. Before the tree ceremony commenced (whew jack and Darius helped), Ben questioned on how it’ll help if his mum is not coming, with Izzy losing her temper at him. But it was obvious Izzy didn’t want to be with Ben when asking her on coming to the tree planting ceremony, with cat telling her to break up with him sooner rather than later if she’s not happy. Even though Samantha was coming, you could understand his upset when she breaks up with him, whilst Samantha heads to the kitchen, knowing it’s the place where she died. During the ceremony, Ben struggled to finish his speech, with Samantha convincing him to run away after overhearing Stella talking to Wendy about hood (but more on that in a moment). But the suitcase suggested she had a more concerning plan, with Stella being notified after talking with jack, where Darius stepped in to cover for her after initially asking jack (but more on that as well). With Ben finding out the beach trip was a lie, he refused to go with Samantha, clearly still not well. Thankfully Stella arrived just in time, with Samantha revealing she overheard everything and reminiscing about Samantha’s dad and how Hope talked about her every day. It was then that stella acknowledged her mistakes and wanting her to come home with her and Ben and telling her to live for Hope, not live without. The aftermath of this saw stella reminiscing the tree with Ben, who wants to stay at Waterloo road. During all of this madness, we saw Declan missing breakfast club and getting caught knicking forest’s sandwiches, using the stapler trick again in the hope of getting some food. This then got him asking Noel about food, revealing he’s hasn’t had anything since yesterday, but he refuses to give him anything due to staff policy. But the struggle with his vision caused him to pass out, talking to Mitch about being skint. Even though Mitch was trying to help, he ended being caught by Schuey who I think was trying to help him. And I think I was right, with Schuey reporting it to Joe out of genuine concern. Declan soon denied it, leading to Joe telling Mitch it’s a safeguarding policy and he has to report it. Soon they met Declan’s brother Dermot, convinced that giving money helps, and making it clear that yes they can’t get Declan in school hungry, but they also can’t give him money due to safeguarding reasons. But Dermot soon caused trouble, causing Mitch to lose his temper, with Joe lying to Mike, causing tension between the two again. Later on, Joe made it clear to Declan that he’s the priority, with Mitch suggesting to bring a food bank the trust closed, drawing a line, which seemed to have worked. Despite nearly being late but had for Schuey's meeting, it was a success, despite  Joe feeling on edge, and Schuey gave Declan that care isn’t as bad as he thought. He definitely has matured so much since last series. And I’m glad that friends Forest and Zayne showing him kindness. But it looks like joes and mikes relationship is on the rocks after having a passionate moment with Mitch, originally going back in to get his phone. In the midst of all of this, Coral wished Wendy luck after she gives her a parting gift, with her telling Val how she’s feeling, with Darius getting laughed at about suggesting he’d apply for deputy head. But Jack offered to mentor him on opportunities after mentioning how much pressure there is. Wendy was adamant on leaving, so much so that I get why Aleena, Stace and Lois were mad at her, and their plan plotting to get her to stay didn’t help, getting caught by Darius, causing them to go on strike. But jack made a pinky promise about voicing their concerns to Stella. Darius later praised Jack for being there for Stella and vice versa, not aware that he caused it, offering him an ear to talk to if ever he needed it. But during Wendy’s exit interview happening, she stating her piece whilst Samantha overheads everything, and Wendy refused to backdown. Although Darius being the connivin person his was, manipulated her about a new job position to save his own skin. This soon led to taking that decision after making a speech for everyone, which then led to Stella telling Darius about the deputy head job, even though she asked Jack first. She then updated Jack on everything that went down with him, reminding Darius of the pressure of the job, which then later led to him accusing Jack of stitching him up. And whilst Stella updated coral on her job until cover is sorted, Jack found a bottle of whisky and accused Darius, thinking it’s a way for him to step down. But after revealing that he’ll apply for the deputy head just so he can leave, the finale is about to get interesting. Meanwhile, Dwayne came back. with Val and joe encouraging him to be positive. And whilst Ashton was flirting with Tonya, Dwayne’s appearance soon interrupted that. I could sense his unease, but when he and Dwayne finally talking, Dwayne was honest about the aftermath of his breakdown, with Ashton thinking it’s the reset he needs. Ashton then opened up about Tonya, with Dwayne encouraging him to go for it and giving him a hint as to how he knows she likes him, making up. I’m not sure if I would do what Ashton did to win her over, but somehow it definitely worked, even if Tonya worked out that Ashton had help from Dwayne. The final episode saw Jack being the new deputy head, with the fair taking place to celebrate the end of term. Neil thought that the fair will help whilst Stella introduces jack as deputy head, stating they finish early for the fair and the year 11s showcase whilst they ask about timetables. It was at that moment I think he was regretting going back to the role he once was. Whilst Ben, Dwayne and Ashton talking about the fair, Ben revealed that he’s staying at Waterloo Road which is great. But Dwayne revealing he might be leaving, needing a fresh start after mentioning that his mum got a new job. This then got revealed to Ashton after he got concerned about his well-being again. But I loved his plan to change his film, giving Dwayne the send off he deserves was lovely to see, with the fair being the cherry on the cake. All I can say is, if this is his last appearance for definite, then good luck to Thapelo Ray for what he has coming next, and you really embraced the role of Dwayne to perfection. Amongst all this, Cat tormented Izzy whilst everyone is talking about the fair, sensing her unease. Cat then questioned her about Ben after the wrong time to break up with him, revealing that Izzy wasn’t going to the fair, claiming she doesn’t want to make things worse. But Cat encouraged her to go, and I have a feeling that something will blossom into something more next series. One of the biggest topics was the end of Joe and Mikes relationship, Mitch giving some more suggestions to joe was his excuse to being flirty, then getting getting saucy in the classroom cupboard. But after nearly getting caught, Mitch asked Joe on a date, making it clear he doesn’t want an affair. After Schuey asked Agnes to go on holiday with him Mike and Joe, Joe himself told Mitch that their connection is not fair on Mike but we’re soon spotted by Agnes, who revealed what she saw to Schuey, understandably furious with Joe, feeling let down again. stating that Mike deserves better. This then prompted Joe calling Mike, coming in earlier than expected and revealed his betrayal. Joe then updated Mitch that he told Mike, and despite Mitch telling him to tell Mike it’s over, Joe surprisingly didn’t want him to. After Mike informed Joe that he can’t lose him, Joe admitted hes not in love with him him anymore, breaking his heart. He then told Mitch about ending things with Mike, with Mitch changing his mind about leaving. Schuey reassured Agnes he’s staying, despite being the usual troublemaker he is, and that’s a sign he’s matured, knowing that he’s handling his anger in a different way. Elsewhere, Noel tried to cheer up Stace with a Teddy from the stand, after thinking about her daughter, with Stace adamant she doesn’t want her. But good old Noel being the sweetheart he is, gave her the reassurance she needed. This then led Stace to seeing Mia, with her ex making it clear she’s not invited. After Noel got an update from her, assuring her it’ll take time, she wondered if she will take after her mum after what she did to Stella. But Noel made it clear that she’s not like her mum, and came with her to meet Mia, which did the trick. But the biggest drama came Jack and Darius, and after Nisha flirted with him, Donte having banter with him soon changed when discovers Jacks bottles, admitting he relapsed, claiming it’s all in control and convincing Donte not to tell Stella. Whilst Darius congratulated him on deputy head, Jack is adamant he’s watching him, going to observe the school, making things personal. Stella then revealed she never got SLT planned, with Stella trusting jack with her asking Darius why he’s losing his temper. There then got Stella telling Jack about Darius coming into the office with Nicole coming back, having an awkward meeting with Darius himself. And Portias video about Hope struck a cord with Nicole, confronting Darius about it, with Darius convinced it was an accident. He then saw that Jack overheard everything, with Donte telling Darius to calm down after he suspected that he was drinking with Darius getting punched in front of the school at the fair. Despite the truth being revealed, Donte also revealed he was drinking, ruining his chances to expose Darius. Donte then offered Jack support but is convinced he can’t be saved, but soon accepted it, and asked Donte to keep an eye on Darius. Following that heated debate, Stella reflecting Ben about Jack and Wendy, whilst he also reflected about Izzy and his intentions. Stella then met Wendy and admitting she was wrong to blame her, with Wendy coming back for next term. I just can’t believe that Stella is believing Darius over jack, and whilst he cracks on with Nisha, it looks like he’s not going anywhere. I just can’t wait for next series, as the trailer for it looks amazing. With more fights and more affairs, and a new face will change everything!

House of Guinness:

This week I watched the final three episodes of the drama created by Steven Knight. Episode 6 started with the police raiding a Fenian pub with Ellen being informed of her brother Patrick. Following this, the Guinness’ lawyer Isaac butt gave him a bullet and who’s it from and also updating them about the raid the Fenians had. He also mentioned about his deal in New York, with a deal linking to Rafferty to send a message of the Fenians. Whilst all this was happening, Rafferty and Olivia got intimate, claiming it’s only a fling. Mr potter then gave a letter to Edward from Ellen, reminding him of her alliance and how she owes him. She then saw Patrick, with her finding out he found out about Edward, reporting it and reminding her of their beliefs as Fenians. This then prompted Edward telling Arthur about Ellen and their night of passion, with him insisting it’s what they both wanted. This made Arthur even more determined on getting Edward to marry Adelaide whilst needing to keep the New York agents deal signed. And this was clearly seen when Arthur saw Adelaide and taking over some stuff, revealing that Edward wants to marry her, whilst she talks about housing and her projects. Later on, Arthur met Patrick about the promotion, with Patrick saying a lot of people are fine with him and Arthur, and later on, Adelaide told Anne about the deal and also updating her on Edward, with Anne telling her of how boys will be boys and also about Edward. With Adelaide revealing she doesn’t want to be sold, Anne mentioned about her plan to help the poor, with Adelaide coming with Edward. Speaking of Edward, he met Ellen and offered her a deal with  her brother, New York and breaking his fathers will linking to the Canadian border, which involved sending some people to America, revealing that Patrick will be one of them and has no choice. But a comment of the night they spent together overwhelmed Ellen, pushing him away. Mind you I don’t think I would want to talk about getting intimate in a public setting, so I don’t blame her for pushing Edward away. But for her brothers sake, Ellen wrote Patrick a letter, explaining the plan and how it’ll help in the long run. 2 months later, and Patrick is settled in New York, with Byron (doing very well for himself since his investment opportunities in New York), welcoming him with open arms. But Patrick asking if Byron and co asking on what is relevant, and what isn’t, showing his tense side and made it clear on his thoughts about the Guinness’s, despite owing them his freedom. Byron then offered him a job to help him and reminded him of what happens if he doesn’t. If that didn’t put Patrick in his place I don’t know what would. Back in England, Edward and Adelaide arrived at ascots castle, reminiscing on edwards childhood, with refusing ice in her drink after looking at the living conditions of Cloonboon. And after Potter asked Edward if she’s impressed, he also revealed how Adelaide is gone, with her going to cloonboon. After following her, Adelaide berated Edward about the living conditions and the consequences they have to face, promoting Edward giving orders to help them. Adelaide then accused Edward of impressing her, which led him to revealing his affair to Ellen and how it’s helped him see things in a new light. After his attempt to helping the graveyard diggers (which was quite entertaining to see), Edward visited a childhood place whilst Adelaide asked about his true intentions. This was then followed by Edward having some bonding time with Adelaide, stating his they’re both no different to the people in cloonboon after telling Potter that he revealed his affair to Adelaide. But elsewhere, Arthur invited Patrick to a dance, unbeknownst to him that he’s under threat by Henry, giving Patrick orders to avoid his secret being revealed. The episode ended with a montage of rafferty and Olivia, Arthur and Patrick, Ellen, Edward and Adelaide, with Patrick missing the deadline for the shoot, which I know will have severe consequences for all members of the Guinness family. Episode 7, aka the penultimate episode, picked up where we left off the last one, with Patrick and Arthur leaving the club, revealing what’s going on and that Arthur working it out it’s Henry. Patrick then revealed henry found out about his since, with Arthur telling Henry to walk away for his own safety, stating they do not forgive the poor. Meanwhile as Ascots castle, Adelaide woke to Edward falling white amusing, all whilst he collects water for the brewery, revealing plans for a pump to cloonboon. This then prompted Adelaide into revealing that she and Edward having more in common. During breakfast back at home, a tense Arthur talked about a pursuit to Olivia after humming a settling tune, with Olivia reassuring him he escaped and wants him to stand for parliament, wanting him to have power, helping him get through his troubles together. Arthur then had a request for rafferty, who visits Henry, describing his theory on the end of the world, bringing an eel after saying he compared Arthur to a Liffey one. Rafferty then ordered henry to run away knowing that the Guinness’ won’t stop, making a threat after Henry denies the deal. Whilst housing works begin, Edward updates Byron on how his profits from New York is helping whilst spending time with Ellen (with his aim is to make peace with the Fenians), and Arthur being in parliament and Adelaide and Anne’s project helping, leading to a moment between Edward and Adelaide. One year later and Adelaide is pleased with the progress, with Anne wondering what Adelaide is thinking about Edward. This then gave Adelaide the reveal of her and Edward having one kiss, but Anne finding out that he’s seeing someone. Adelaide was adamant she doesn’t need hope after Anne Sarah’s there is, which was followed by Arthur and Edward discussing marriage and Adelaide but not wanting to break Ellen’s heart after Arthur discovers that Edward loves her, whilst Arthur got a letter from the Conservative Party and not standing for parliament. But after a moment of reflection, they decided to do the things they least want to do anyway, with Arthur running for election, and Edward breaking up with Ellen, proposing to Adelaide and breaking Ellen’s heart, revealing she’s bad for business. The day of Edward and Adelaide’s wedding saw Olivia being pregnant with Rafferty's baby, with Arthur inviting Rafferty himself. During this conversation he stated that sex and tenderness are not the same, revealing the pregnancy, and Arthur reminding him not to have any scandals for his upcoming election. Things were going to get more tricky with Potter being informed of bens drinking again whilst the wedding goes ahead, and Christina finds him after his wife left him. But Christina being by his side may be the thing that will help him, and with gave the maids a accurate description whilst Ben and Christina get intimate, which I found quite funny. If all concluded with Arthur and Edward meeting Bonnie champion, who hears about Arthur running for election and discussing the brewery expansion which include bunnies office, giving him notice is to quit. It then all ended with Byron coming back to help Arthur’s campaign, destroying dock 7 and revealing their secrets. The final episode saw Patrick coming back to Dublin, only to find the docks in ruins. During this, with Arthur’s election rally coming up, Byron described Arthur’s pictures and what they mean, especially one with a beard, but he didn’t like it. We then saw Patrick seeing Ellen, asking about Edward, with Ellen stating that he is the reason why he’s free, and that she doesn’t need to explain herself. This then led her pleading to Patrick not to kill anyone during the election, knowing they can still have a cause without killing anyone, followed by her writing a letter to Edward about warning him on Patrick. Rafferty later revealed he knew who sent Edward the letter after he was sent to find information and why he came, with the enemies fearing kindness, which is why they decide to do something about it. Later on, Edward met Ellen and whilst hanging clothes, Ellen stated she doesn’t know where Patrick is and says she’s not to be trusted, with Edward revealing he still loved her, but she pushes him away, knowing the danger it may cause. Adelaide was informed of the situation, asking Edward of his whereabouts, with her describing the perks of marriage and admitting they do not love each other. But at least they admitted it whilst being on good terms. Later on, as Aunt Agnes got pins and how Dublin love her, Ben camd in and Anne found out of his and Christina’s mishaps (which were quite entertaining). But they soon came to admitting that they’re in love, with Anne stating that it’s her idea to accept Christina, also mentioning how there’s bigger and dangerous things coming take more priority. Potter bless him, stated that everyone is worried about Arthur, with Edward finding out that Arthur had “guests” whilst Olivia is away and revealed her abortion. This then prompted Edward into telling him of his heartbreak and to pull himself together for the sake of the election. At dinner, Olivia told Arthur of her time with her sisters and her abortion the night before she saw a show, stating how she had every right to be frightened and lonely. Arthur then revealed about Rafferty asking tl seeing her, stating how he’s not kind to himself and letting her see him. This then gave Rafferty and Olivia the chance to say their feelings for one another, worh Rafferty reminding her not to be scared. Back at the election prep, Arthur and Edward queried Byron of his election tactics and if they’ll work whilst asking about Patrick, with Byron insisting it’s being taken care of, with Arthur accepting his fate if he is to be killed. But  Rafferty was soon on the warpath in search for Patrick, getting fatally injured in the process. The night before the big day saw Arthur berating Olivia about the deal in their marriage, one moment specifically being about making love to people but not loving, saying she can leave but there will be consequences with regards to her financial situation. But he offered an alternate conditions of their agreement which meant not sex with rafferty, and asked about getting it done for the sake of the election. But Olivia went behind his back on how Olivia and rafferty can be together linking to a place in Donnybrook, with Rafferty promising her that. On the day itself, Edward prepped Arthur in his speech whilst telling him the family members will be at risk, but want to be with him, all while Patrick is out for revenge. This then came to a full circle moment, with the siblings back in the same room as episode 1. During this moment, Arthur talked about how they improved since then, with Ben cutting back on alcohol, Anne setting up a trust, Edward doing everything for the brewer and Arthur running for parliament, with the same song that fits perfectly. The election rally itself finally got underway, with potter informing Arthur that everything is safe with Ellen arriving to stop Patrick, telling him to arrest him and keep armed and not killing him. During Arthur’s speech himself, Patrick’s henchman gave the signal, and after Ellen gave a warning of Patrick’s appearance, it ended on a cliffhanger. I can see what my dad means about the end of the series, and with no transcript of the Guinness’ story following the series, it’s moments like this where there’s got to be a new series surly. But none the less, I thoroughly enjoyed this show, and Steve Knight should be very proud of all his hard work.

Personal:

Exercise:

This week with my usual routine, i also did some more exercise on the bike. But it wasn’t easy, as on Monday the timings were 12mins 45secs when I got to 10k but 13mins 42secs on the Saturday. But maybe this is my body’s way of telling me that my energy levels were low, and somehow I managed to pull through. Yes I had to go over the 20 minute mark, but I would rather do that as I was so close to 15k.

Cooking:

This weeks cooking involved going back to basics on a classic. And wow it was delicious, supplying me with meals for the next three days. It’s moments like this where less really is more, and it’ll be the same for next week as well, knowing I’ve got a busy one coming up.

ree

Halloween Baking:

This week in the run up to the spookiest day of the year I thought I’d try my hand at baking. As you can see below it didn’t all go to plan, but at least I can say that I gave it a go which is the main thing. I also think that the reason why it didn't go to plan was also because I missed out an ingredient, therefore had to throw it away. But I think that was due to my energy levels being low, therefore missing out stuff that causes errors like this. But I’m hoping the next recipe which is some biscuits will hopefully turn out better.

ree

Darts:

This week I had three practices of the sport. It wasn’t a lot, but I focused more on getting the darts in close groups as well as getting some doubles and trebles in, which is always nice. And I think I did quite well at doing that, so please see a selection of those groups as well as big actors below!

Time With My Dog:

With my dad and sister away, me and my dog were having some quality bonding time. It’s moments like this where the saying a dog is a man’s best friend, and with some fireworks going on, she sat next to me, so that she doesn’t have to feel alone bless her. And with me feeling the pressure this week, it’s good to know I had her by my side!

Strictly Come Dancing:

This week I finished off last weeks strictly. Amber and Nikita's Argentine Tango was passionate and intense. For all those wondering about whether they kissed or hope for the strictly curse to happen, let it go! It’s a dance where it’s supposed to be steamy and passionate, and they both have loving partners they adore very much. But Ellie and Vito's couples choice was a proper finale to the show, and of course it made me cry with tears of joy. Whether she wins the show or not, that was a fine example of how just because you’ve got a disability it doesn’t mean you’re not capable of achieving what you want. I also watched most of the brilliant icons week. As we head into week 5 of the competition, the judges are noticing some picky things for the contestants to improve on, and at this point anyone could go. But my favourites had to Ellie and Vito's salsa, and Vicky and Kai’s couples choice. But so far everyone did a grand job, and I can’t wait to watch the rest next week to start the new week in style.

Gogglebox:

This week the telly critics has more adventures to gossip about. Georgia talked to Abbie about her engagement to her boyfriend Josh, and Danielle and Daniella asked about who would be serena and Venus Williams after Daniella said she would go to Padel with Danielle. Jenny helped Lee with his ears, Andre and Sarah welcomed back Cheé with a funny story on boys. Mary told Giles off for washing his hair in the bath, and Calum celebrated jakes birthday following his previous celebrations. Finally, Ellie showed Izzy her autumn basket, the Siddiquis takes about their pet cat and how they are when they’re around them, and Julie showed. tom her bell to show how the spirit is coming, which did work. They also watched some brilliant moments from the screen this week. Everyone watched Harry and Karen’s rumba in “Strictly Come Dancing” with some of the goggleboxers getting flustered, which was quite entertaining, and “Beat the Chasers” saw the arrival of the maverick, with a contestant getting £25k with maverick revealing to be joe Pasquale. “The Celebrity Traitors” saw one celeb being cautious of the actors being traitors, and no one being suspicious of the three original traitors, leaving it with a Traitors first where who will be banished will be decided by fate. The “Hollyoaks” 30th anniversary seeing Donny go back to Brookside close, surprising the goggleboxers (despite being spoilers about it), and “Dragons den” saw a unique pitch linking to a wrestling business. Finally, BBC news saw Prince Andrew giving up his royal titles and the consequences he has to face, and “Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted” saw Suzanne shaw going into her subconscious and hoping to get rid of her attachment.

Challenges & How I Overcame Them:

This week one moment that wasn’t exactly a challenge but more of a feeling. And that was that I was the only one in my acting class to perform a monologue, and I couldn’t help but feel guilty as I wasn’t sure if anybody else wanted to do theirs. However I then remembered that I’ve invested in my money to come to classes for a reason, and so it’s moments like this where I need to make the most out of my investment. Another moment that was challenging was a situation taking place (which I’m not going to say where or when out of respect) that led to a moment where I was told I was being “lazy”. That wasn’t the case at all, as I was simply analysing the situation for like 2 seconds to see what needs the most attention so that I’m not wasting my time. Thankfully I didn’t say anything back as I didn’t want to case a scene, and I also handled my emotions really well. That and that fact that towards the end of the week I was quite tired and droopy, and it did cause me to forget things, and cause some errors, as mentioned in "Halloween Baking". But none the less, as the evening came, and with my meeting out of the way, I felt much more relaxed, knowing that going into next week, I would need to take everything one step at a time.

What have I learnt this week? Take everything one step at a time.

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
