Awareness Project Offer, The Start of The Winter Action & Premier League Action!
- Feb 9
- 40 min read
Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week has been busy, and as seen below, even my dog Margo is wiped out from it all lol! This week included an offer to be part of an awareness project, watching the start of the international winter games in Italy, and also the start of the weekly darts tournament featuring the 10 best players. So without further ado, here is what I got Jo to on the week commencing 2nd February 2026!

Professional:
Acting Class:
This week we looked at two different sections when learning about Stella Adler. During the first half, we looked at The Devil Wears Prada, where me and my scene partner got some amazing feedback. We also got some points to consider as well, and I will definitely use them to re record for my acting page. The second half consisted of looking at Hamlet, which focused on questioning. This was a tricky one as Shakespeare in itself was difficult to understand, but after my teacher gave some pointers on where he’s at in the moment of the speech and the emotion the character is feeling, it did help. I’m definitely up for looking at something like this more, and it was a really challenging but interesting session, given that Stella Adler technique is to get actors to fill in big roles.
Jobs to Submit:
This week I had a lot of jobs I decided to submit myself for. It was all a combination of open calls which I CC’d my agent in, some stuff on Mandy and some I nudged my agent on Spotlight on. I even got a message from someone who wants to do a documentary about autistic people, and I felt really honoured. And I got an email back about a self-tape to film, which of course is very exciting!
Emailing Creatives:
This week I emailed a lot of creatives. Some of them are follow up emails, and some of them being new ones to people I haven’t spoken to before. I still have a few more people to go, but I can honestly say that I’m nearly through my list of people to email until mid April at least.
Rehearsing:
Whilst on the subject of job applying, I rehearsed my material in preparation for a casting. All I’m doing now is just to repeat the speech, as it was the same speech I did for a past open house event back in December 2025. But as long as I can remember that and my given circumstances (what is happening in the scene) and objectives (what my character wants to achieve) I should be able to answer the questions given to me okay. And if worse comes to worse, I’ll just say the first thing that comes to my head within the text.
Fundraising:
This week I only did abit of notes on my fundraising, by only sorting out a few of my notes. But once the online casting day is done and dusted, my main priority will be to finish off those notes in preparation for filming my videos the week after. But so far I've raised £36 pounds, which I'm very pleased about. Be sure to click the link below to make your donation and share with anyone and everyone to help me with my project!

Act On This Podcast:
This weeks Act On This podcast was with Emmy Winner Casting Director Daniel Edwards. What I like about him is one minute he’s cracking a joke and saying things that would make you laugh, the next he says it how it is when it comes to how to get his attention. I also liked how during the podcast he opened up about some bad stuff he went through, but managed to find the love for the industry again. But overall it was a brilliant and inspiring podcast, and with Line of Duty currently series 7 in the works, it’s safe to say that a lot of people will be in touch with him about it!

Coronation Street:
This wee I watched the show from 28th, 29th, 30th January and 2nd February. 28th saw the residents say goodbye to Billy. But before all of that, Theo was having a nightmare where Summer said she knew about Billy, when in fact the alarm went off. It was a shame that not everyone could make it, like Sarah and Harry due to an upset tummy, but Summer giving Todd a gift seemed to have lightened the mood, and Theo offered to take Paul’s ashes. At the cafe, Nina was wanting to make Bernie feel normal, with Dev checking in, and stating she’s more concerned for Summer. Back at the flat, Todd was practicing the eulogy, with Theo thinking he’s taking on too much. But Theo may be relieved for now when George was adamant the customer who “came in” is not coming back. Whilst Billy was being loaded, Gemma making a humourous comment helped lightened the mood, whilst Carl sees Theos weak spot. The Funeral then took place, with the bishop finding humour in the situation through Billys positive moments. Todd was then giving the eulogy, with a humours moment about Fiz and Sally fancying Billy, but it all got too much and Theo took over, only to put the cards down and say his own words. I could also really feel it when everyone singing “O Happy Day” and todd was getting emotional. The wake saw Bernie getting drunk whilst Summer joked about burning her clothes and todd getting annoyed at Theo because of how hard he worked on the eulogy. Theo then made out it was his fault as he he could’ve been “braver. But the mood was soon lightened when Eva was telling the story of Billy catching her and Adam (which I remember very well) whilst Bernie was still struggling with her grief after Dev tried to make her see it’s okay. Everyone then gave the toast to Billy, whilst Bernie loses her temper with Dev. But there was more drama outside of it. As Carl and Ryan still were having tension at the cafe, and at the hotel, Ryan got trapped by robbers, with Carl coming to the rescue. He then gave and statement whilst Kit came for further detail, followed by Carl stating that 3k was for Billys funeral. It may have placed himself into anger though, as Theo spotted Carl with the robbers, and confronting him about it, who threatens to tell Todd everything. But theo soon made a threat that sounds serious. 29th saw a Fast forward moment seeing Bernie grieving at the hotel. Before then, Dev showing his concern but pushing him away. Sally and Brian were also showing their concern after Nina mentions she needs to let off some steam, but she had more drama at the cafe when a man called Mal, The husband of Alice, punches roy, which led to a discussion about the situation. Meanwhile, Dev was offering Bernie a night of self care, but declined, pushing him away again after his concern of another night out. At the Rovers, Everyone was reflecting on the funeral and Maggie offered half price drinks but showed their concern for Bernie. She then left to go tongue hotel and mentioned Mal, who talked about Roy (little does Bernie know) with Ryan telling Bernie to calm down after things got abit hectic. It then resorted to Bernie and Mal going to a room to get off their heads whilst the rest of the ladies go to Devs, sparking concerns from Gemma. Mal then took the opportunity in kissing Bernie, but she got emotional after everything that’s happened. After Dev tries calling her, and after Ryan kicked her out, she was soon out cold in a night club. 30th saw Bernie leaving the hospital after last night with calls from Dev and Asha, she and Nina were reassuring Dev that she’ll be fine. Gemma was also sharing her concerns to Roy, also reassuring her and offering his services, but I could imagine their unease when Ryan revealed her whereabouts. Bernie eventually was seen returning home, Gemma mentioned of his whereabouts, and I’ll mention what happened afterwards later on. Elsewhere, Theo saw a missed payments letter, making out to Todd he should’ve told him and suggesting a joint bank account, followed by suggesting to get rid of their cards (LITERALLY). But there was a lovely moment, as Sally was treating Brody for his birthday, and defended him when Chesney complained. Everyone then came to Brody's birthday, with Kit offering to play a video game, and thanking Tim for looking after him. Brody then stated to Bernie he’s got everything he wants when she finally comes. But Dev showing more concern and grilled Bernie on the night before again, where she revealed about taking drugs, but will not say anything, only to be spotted by Mal and revealed he left Alice and isn’t leaving. In other areas of the cobbles, Abi found Kevin in the car, but pushes her away. Although I was quite entertained when Debbie was showing Abi her practice bed for prison and her prep, and shared her concerns about Kevin and reassume Debbie she’ll be fine after she showed her concern with prison and dementia. And we got to see the real reason why Mal is staying on the street, as he was coming back to work on the electrics, and after a joke and Kirk making a discovery, Roy offered to help him. Finally, 2nd February saw Jack not satisfied with Kevin’s arrangements. After Debbie was thanking Ryan for the previous week, offering him to be in charge of the hotel whilst she’s in prison, all of Kevin’s friends came for an intervention, pretending it’s a “free lunch. During this, Tyrone talking about his accident and Sally mentioning his “sexual” problems and Abi apologising for her actions, all hoping it’ll help him. But it soon came to a halt when Carl entered the situation to find out about Ryan, with Kevin leaving. It then got Jack wanting to move in with Abi after not being happy with his well-being, pushing both him and Abi away again. It then left Kevin’s feeling emotional despite Jack sending him a text saying he still loves him, whilst Carl was asking why Debbie didn’t hand him the job, expressing her fear. But that’s not the only drama happening. Theo was going to Doncaster and only leaving him with £10, and George was offering to pay for Todd’s meal later on after forgetting his wallet. He then got an expensive alcohol from one of his customers, with Christina convincing him to accept it. I can only imagine Todd’s insecurities when he declines George’s offer of the pub, only for Theo to say he’s staying over with his mum, leaving him with little money. But I did find it funny when Lauren was asking what Cognac is. Elsewhere, Shona was looking for her dad, but it made Jodie uncomfortable, prompting her into ringing Bernard. And whilst she goes to the shop and Shona ringing Bernard about her dad and having no success despite a massive clue about the friendship between him and her dad. And Bernie was apologising to Dev, feeling uncomfortable around Mal. If then got her trying to persuade Roy to switch electricians, but Roy revealed about Mal's connection with Alice, followed by him being in the Rovers with Dev and Bernie, and Dev asking about her ease towards Mal. He was pretty good at convincing her that he’ll be gone after the job at the cafe, but something tells me he’ll be there for quite a while.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw one family have an honest session, two members of that family being caught in a dangerous situation, and one resident spiralling. Mondays episode saw the McQueen go to Mercedes’ rehab for the family therapy session. Let’s just say there was alot of point scoring bad to how she ended up on drugs in the first place, but eventually they came to an understanding. But I think things will get sticky again when Jenson (who was spying on Warren having a go at Gemma about if she’s really happy about him and Mercedes splitting up) checks in and finds her. Things will also get tricky for Prince who after deciding to lay off the steroids following the advice on not to have drugs or alcohol around the house, gets arrested with his dealer. And with John-Paul’s exit coming soon, I have a feeling his new friendship with Smithy will end in disaster. Dillon was also chatting to Ste about visiting Lucas, with Leela backing him up. But he was adamant on not seeing him after everything that’s happened, and Rex was also not keen on the idea. Rex then made the decision to give Dillon, Frankie and Vicky grace’s inheritance, but after seeing stuff online, there’s going to be another emotional storyline for him after he tries on Graces lipstick. And things are also not looking good for Cleo, as after Sienna admitted to Ste and Leela about her behaviour, with Leela revealing her observations at the baby group, the revelation that she might hurt Joseph did not go down well with her. The news that she’ll be going into a psychiatric ward may be daunting, but hopefully it’ll give her the support needed to feel better again. Tuesdays addition saw Prince in a cell and trying to convince everyone he wasn’t dealing, with Dodger understandably disappointed in him, who was John Paul asking Smithy for help with Prince, little does he know that he’s actually working for Sully, and let’s just say that Smithy will be in their lives for a while after he makes him a simple yet dangerous offer. Misbah meanwhile is still not letting Donny back into her good books, but after Dillon tries his pizza, he decides to use the money from Rex to help Donny bring his business back up. I just hope it’ll be worth it after Misbah tells them to use the money for the right reasons. Rex meanwhile has got questions after Froggy and Ste notice the lipstick on his coat, claiming it was by Vicky. After Froggy reveals about wanting to be an honest man before he dies, Rex was about to tell Ste the real reason why he had the lipstick after getting caught by Frankie looking at the dresses. But it all got too much when Ste reveals that he saw James. I think something tells me that burning Graces stuff and getting drunk don’t help his problems, and this scenario is like “The Boy In The Dress” situation. Finally, Wednesdays addition saw John Paul in a dangerous situation, possibly linking to his exit. It all started when he was grilled by Prince about Smithy, and then giving out romance advice to Liberty and Ste after she mentioned about fearing Tinhead is like Jez, and Rex pushing Ste away, telling them not to think about the past. Although he should’ve taken his own advice, as after Prince left Casa McQueen due to feeling “poorly”, he and Smithy used John Paul’s keys (which he stole earlier after John Paul chatted to him), to use the school as a drug den. But he soon landed up in hot water as both he and Prince have got themselves in a dangerous situation. Meanwhile, Liberty was confiding in Tinhead about her doubts after Jez. He reassured her there’s nothing to worry about, but I hate how he described her to Nikki. I can’t wait until that comes out. And Rex is having some trouble of his own grieving for grace. After Froggy noticed her earrings and clothes burnt, he queried Rex about it, with red adamant that he’s being “a man and moving on”. It only got worse down at the loft by consuming himself with alcohol, and even Ste declaring his love for him wasn’t enough. Froggy was then willing to give him his space, but I do hope he opens up sooner about how he’s really feeling. And Ro helping out at the garage whilst Rex was AWOL is the start of a difficult conversation for what to do in the future after school.
Eastenders:
This week saw a secret being revealed, a sad decision for a friend of two residents, and one resident being in trouble with the Panesar patriarch. Mondays episode saw Vicki and Ross get back on track. This included Ross having the idea of a new business, getting tips from Kathy (who is annoyed at Ian and Elaine’s feud but commended Ross on his support during the trial), stating that it’s the right decision to pay back Sharon. But another moment at the gym was spotted by Mark, who soon had another go at Ross and grilled him on his lack of support for Vicki during the trial. But the news of him going to propose to her left Zack deflated. Although Ravis advice to taking an easier life when a girl chats him up may end in a disaster. And Vicki was adamant there’s nothing between her and Zack, explaining his support during her ordeal. But Mark was right to say that secrets don’t lash forever, and she revealed the truth when Ross got down on one knee. Meanwhile, Vinny was trying to show Bea the ropes, and during showing Nugget with work experience, it didn’t exactly go to plan. Vinny was adamant that the reason why he lashed out was because of what’s happened to Nugget (and he shook brushed off Ravi for asking him on his well-being). And there’s was more drama when Phil dropped off a parcel that was for Julie, and Linda reported it back to her. She could clearly see Julie was struggling, and Linda took it upon herself to look after Nigel whilst she has a night out. Elaine was adamant of course because of her business, but you could see why Linda wanted to help, knowing that she and Phil have helped each other during the dark times. But Julie’s night out may be on hold when Nigel has another episode again. Patrick was also asking himself questions after Kat lashed out at him about Anthony, which promoter Kim and Denise to help with the funeral arrangements. Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from Vickis secret, but made it out it was a stranger. Zack also declined the offer of Beth after clearly still having feelings for Vicki, but she made it clear to him that he doesn’t feel the same. Ross’ chat with Alfie and the lads of the “Sad Men’s Club” didn’t really help, mainly for Ian making comments without thinking. But Alfie have him some wise words, which prompted the couple to then have a proper talk and work things through. And for once, Mark was being the brother that Vicki needs without any form of violence, and made his warning to Zack crystal clear. Whilst Kat was regretting shouting at Patrick, Kim and Denise were organising Anthony’s funeral, and Kim’s attempts to get hold of Sophie didn’t end well. And I have a feeling that Patrick seeing Zoe in prison will do more harm than good. I know Linda was only trying to help settle the differences between Phil and Julie, but her view of thing’s definitely changed when Phil’s plans to take Nigel away we’re revealed. She soon continued to lend her supportive ear and help with the vowel renewal, but Phil getting a call from the care home and possibly not letting Julie know may make things even more sticky. And Honey and Bea were gossiping about Suki, and she revealed a moment of madness between her and the patriarch Panaser. But their plan to sue them may be more awkward when they drunkenly send their email to them… Wednesdays episode saw Nigel and Julie’s vowel renewal take place. But there was drama before it, as Nigel went to Phil’s house to get ready, thinking it’s his actual wedding. Phil then had a talking to with Julie about it it’s something he really wants after Linda rang her, and also asked Nigel the same. Just as all seemed lost, the couple eventually did make their vows, with Julie stating that Phil was right and that wanted to leave the care home situation until the next day (little does she know that Phil already got a voicemail from them). Now I don’t know what will happen next, but whilst Julie and Phil were talking about stones from his childhood, and Mark revealed that he told her about Portugal, leaving Nigel in the bathroom alone is not the best idea. Outside of this event, Suki caught the email Bea and Honey drunkenly sent, and Vinny was right to tell Honey to talk with her. This then saw Honey suspended and ended up missing the renewal because of it. She also put her friendship with Bea at risk, stating the reality of losing her job which yes may not be much, but could have an impact on her family. But that’s j the only drama the Panasers are dealing with. Nugget is still on edge with Ravi following the attack, thinking he likes Avani more than him. But the truth may be at risk of becoming exposed after Barney overhears Priya and Ravi talking about Nicola and Harry’s involvement. Whilst they deny it, I wonder if Avani will be able to help out. Finally, Patrick was adamant in seeing Zoe before Anthony’s funeral, with Kat reminding him not to mention Jasmine for her sake. Zoe then revealed the true extent of Anthony’s personality, and ending with Patrick hiding that Jasmine is doing well. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Nigel being rushed to hospital, with Julie leaving the renewal to see him. Linda encouraged Phil to be honest with her, about both how it happened and at the care home situation. At first she had every right to be annoyed, but once she calmed down, she reflected on his Nigel was meant to have her and Phil, and made the tough decision to finally put him in a care home. Yes it was a tough decision, but they knew that they can give him the help and support he needs. Elsewhere on the street, Nugget was grilling Barney about the night he got attacked, and along with Priya and Ravi, soon confronted Nicola and Harry of their involvement, but strongly denied it. Once he was at home and calmed down, Ravi opened up about his father figures in his life and how it led him to making bad decisions, urging Nugget not to make those same mistakes. It seemed to have done the trick, and after Mark was bypassing, something tells me it won’t be the last time they bump into each other. Patrick is also in a sticky situation following his visit to see Zoe. After Denise showed some concerns, Yolande, being the good wife she is, encouraged him to ignore Zoe’s thoughts and write what he feels. We then saw Kat encouraging Alfie to see Spencer after the news of Ross and Vicki's engagement, and her attention might be elsewhere when after Zoe updates her on Patrick, she reveals of jasmine’s disappearance. But I can’t wait to see the return of Jake moon after finding out he was initially dead. And Honey managed to build bridges with Bea, but I can’t help but wonder what her next move will be next.
Runaway:
This week I watched more episodes of the drama based on the book by Harlan Coben. Episode 4: A Different Time, saw us go back to the past, where we were seeing Paige witnessing someone getting beat up by a gym member, whilst the present saw that the victim survived but had a lot of scars. He then saw Simon go into university, with a flashback seeing Paige moving into university, whilst Simon was getting grilled by a group of girls. He was then meeting Paige’s roommate Katie, who knew what Aaron was like, and told Simon of how she changed before she took drugs. Katie was then admitting that she never had a friend, and couldn’t help any more m. Meanwhile, Ash and Dee Dee were still with Mrs O’Hara with some awkward tension, and Isaac was meeting jay, who claims his shift was over and Isaac querying if Ingrid is scared of him after mentioning the CCTV footage. Whilst Elena was looking at Maria’s profile, Jay was then being interviewed at the station of their relationship, and revealed he’s Ingrids alibi. But Isaac was convinced there’s an affair, but Ruby was saying otherwise, suggesting that jay is covering for her, and asked each other if Simon knew about it. Afterwards, Simon was asking Sam to find Paige’s diary to look for clues linking to her disappearance, and saw the sign PVB, only for Paige’s other roommate Judy to appear. We also saw Ash gaining a flashback of their childhood and Dee Dee encouraging him to face the past. Back at the university. Judy was admitting she wanted to reach out, and mentioned a professor running a tree club, revealing that Paige wanted to study medicine. Judy also mentioned about Paige and Katie fighting only to find Katie missing. Meanwhile, Elena met Alex after finding out that Damien was adopted, searching for more victims. I just say, the receptionist at the university was very rude, but she revealed the professor left the same time Paige dropped out. The boy from the flashback ten saw Simon, who mentioned that the professor may have had relationships with students and reporting it back to Elena, telling him not to kill anyone. Sebastian (Henry’s dad), was shocked when realising the adoption agency Henry came from was the same one as Damien whilst Ash changed number plates. Whilst simon and Elena updated each other on their discoveries, she revealed that Maria is her secret daughter, and that Lou (her tech woman) is also her mother in law which they don’t want to know about it. Another flashback saw Simon seeing a picture and arguing with Paige, whilst Yvonne reassured him it’s not his fault after asking about problems at home. Isaac then came to the house to reveal Ingrids alibi, with flashbacks seeing everything come together. But he’s not the only one in a spot of bother, as Maria was confronting Elena, showing her the CCTV footage and got arrested in the process. Ash meanwhile heard Dee Dee sing and getting her the number plates, with Dee Dee then taking over to get revenge on Mrs o’hara, which revealed her violent past, and a trigger to ash got her killed. They then ended up burying the body and burning her towel. Simon went back to the hospital, and was quick in asking Yvonne about Paige’s paternity after piecing everything together. But he may need to put that question to the side as Ingrid took a turn for the worse. And whilst Isaac and Ruby were flirting, she gave an update on a shooting, and revealed Cornelius being one of those people. Katie was then send an email to the professor, only for the email to not send, and the boy from earlier was looking at photos of Paige, revealing they may have been in a relationship in the past. Episode 5: “Forever Be The Shining Truth”, saw a segment three weeks before the events of the show, with Dee Dee doing her chant, and a picture being shown, saying she’s ready to be tested for The Truth, with pictures including Aaron. The present saw Ash and Dee Dee driving to the next destination, but struggling with her lifestyle but blamed it on “The Shining Truth”. At the hospital, Simon was waiting for Ingrid with Yvonne telling him Anya and Sam will be angry about not updating them on her. And after getting arrested, Elena was being interviewed and admitted to being guilty of breaking in. She then rang Alex wanting to know about Kevin Gano, followed by telling Lou that she knew about Joel’s secret, who’s also grieving the situation. She was then visiting Simon about Ingrid whilst also talking about Joel’s surgery and an app to keep you updated on a loved one. It was then followed by Elena sharing her evidence and how Henry and Damien could be related, and Simon expressing his fears of cheating. Simon was also explaining about how Enid had no idea on where Aaron came from, in which Elena then asked him to look at Paige’s bank statements. At the station, Rubynoticed that Cornelius was protective of Paige with Isaac revealing his relationship with him, and talked about his mental health after his wife died and how maybe the grief started it all. Elsewhere, after a quick pitstop, Dee Dee was telling Ash to be respectful at The Shining Truth, and how to go about it, wanting to be there before sundown. A flashback saw Paige getting her first bank card, and Simon finding a statement from the ancestry website but a different one, with Ingrid soon being out of theatre. Simon then rang Jessica about a DNA test whilst Isaac visited Cornelius, but a joke about skincare wasn’t enough to get to the truth, with him explaining that Grayson’s mothers death was part of his drinking, and how Cornelius wanted to help others after his grief. Isaac soon found out about forensics matching Cornelius, finding out the truth but possibly to defend Simon, and spoke about his arrest in 2019 and explained it was to help people. A flashback also saw Elena looking at a photo of Maria whilst ignoring Lou call, whilst Simon sees toothbrush for DNA samples. We then saw Sam having a go at Simon after revealing of Ingrid's situation, and Dee Dee revealed how she got her name Holly when they arrive at The Shining Truth. Elena made her way to the adoption agency and after saying Maish couldn’t help, mentioned the missing and dead men. Whilst it was no luck, she left her earphone deliberately to gain evidence and find Alison at a retreat. Meanwhile, Ash was heading to a place and questioned about the ceremony, with mother Adonia taunting him about Dee Dee unless he joins. At the house, Simon and the kids were apologising to each other whilst Simon mentioned about the professor and also informed them of if they see Jay. Back at the station, Isaac telling ruby that Cornelius more or less shot Luther, but Isaac was hesitant on arresting him, knowing it would impact the good work he did, and had to go back to square 1. Simon then gave Jessica the samples and also got a message from Katie, who’s call mysteriously failed. Whilst he was going to find her, Elena went to the place called Ideal Retreat and seeing Alison, and spoke about the adoption agency and the victims, but ended up escaping after revealing she was part of those cases. Simon soon met Katie about the drugs, who revealed she knew about the professor and tried to hook up with her, with Simon reassuring her she’s a good friend and asked about the problems. At The Shining Truth, Mother Adiona revealed The One wants to meet Dee Dee and Ash, who gave them a new list of names and mother Adiona watching on as they left. She was right to do so, as she slipped a note into Ash’s shoe to warn him of Dee Dee. At the hospital Simon was confronting Jay, only to find out there’s something about Ingrid he doesn’t know, whilst Lou’s call to Elena being rejected, only to have Maria. And whilst Isaac submitted a alibi report, and with Ruby looking at the weapon, Cornelius dropped the weapon in question into a river. But why though? And Episode 6: “The Man I Knew”, saw a year before the show, seeing Elena and Joel camping. The present saw Elena looking for Alison, not knowing she’s actually watching her. Elsewhere, Sam spotted Simon looking for evidence, making out it’s a song he’s looking for, along with Simon trying to make a joke at breakfast to lighten the mood. Meanwhile, Dee Dee and Ash found new weapons whilst discussing about the Shining Haven, and was unable to reveal why they kill people, only to get a call about a new job for them. At the station, Isaac revealed that Ruby was right and focused beyond Simon greene, and noticed that Rocco hasn’t been seen since the shooting, so decided to interview Luther. Elena was then seen confronting Raoul and wanting to know where Alison Mayflower is, with him mentioning Alison’s girlfriend Stephanie. Back at the hospital, Simon apologised to Jay, and questioned him on why he didn’t mention about Ingrid being with him the night Aaron was killed, but wouldn’t say anything about the stuff Ingrid kept from him. Elsewhere, Elena was updating Lou on the situation to find Stephanie, and Lou’s next question got her hanging up, and soon got a call from Alex about Kevin’s death by “Suicide. Elena then noticed that someone else did it and planted it was suicide. We then saw Luther getting interviewed and Isaac asked about Rocco, using a different tactic to reveal his thoughts of Aaron, but only showed fear through being angry. This then left Isaac and Ruby wondering what Luther was hiding. Meanwhile, Elena was sending Simon a picture of Kevin Gano, telling him that someone else shot him but also mentioned the link between the adoption agency and the ancestry website. And he may have some more luck, as Anya and Sam managed to find the professor, Liam via a fake Instagram account, and was proud for finding it out and going to the university. Whilst that was happening, Isaac was sending a message whilst Ruby reveals that Luther has got bail. It then prompted Isaac to visit Cornelius on the football pitch, reminding him of a quote, and revealing of Luther’s situation and the possibility of not killing Aaron, but is hiding something. We then saw Simon visiting the university to see Liam, but soon revealed the emails Katie sent and the reason why Paige put the dates in to help with her coursework for medicine, and also queried him on the video of him. After making a joke with the neighbour, Elena asked her about something unusual on the day of Kevin’s death, and mentioned the description and got an address for Stephanie (whilst Lou begged her to call after revealing Joel didn’t have an affair) but posted a note. We then saw Simon continuing to ask Liam about Paige and the family tree club, with at first not speaking to him about the drugs, and before then revealing that she may have been spiked and had something bad happen to her. It was at that moment that he stopped speaking to her after he reported it, denying it ever happened, and revealed that Doug Mulzer (the guy he met before) may have been the person, and that Aaron attacked him. It then got Simon wanting Isaac and Ruby to arrest Doug, but can’t due to procedure. They also revealed of having a search in other areas to find her, along with Isaac seeing pictures of Doug’s injuries, and Ruby suggesting that Paige could also be responsible after initially thinking it was Simon. And it looks like the relationship between the lovers/colleagues may be strained as Ruby found out about Isaac giving Cornelius having an alibi, claiming that he doesn’t belong in prison, with Ruby mentioning the reality of what he did if it got out. Elena was then visiting Lou and asked about the CCTV whilst revealing Alison was a no show, and Lou revealed Joel was Remis donor (Maria mother), and recalled the moment Elena couldn’t have kids so kept the secret from her in order to avoid hurt. Lou then revealed she’s dropping the charges and wants to meet her. At the hospital, Simon revealed to Yvonne about the DNA results after revealing Paige being on the ancestry website, meeting Elena and updating him on the situation. But got a call from Stephanie landed her I danger, as Stephanie was actually Dee Dee. Soon though, Cornelius was visiting Simon (who’s getting the cash for the money), and revealed he saw Paige, revealing she murdered Aaron and he threw the weapon away, and the episode ended with Dee Dee leading Elena to Alison’s house, only to find herself in a life or death situation.
Waterloo Road (DISCLAIMER: CONTAINS THEMES OF GROOMING)
This week saw more drama at the iconic school, with a storyline that was hard to watch, but an important one at that too. Episode 4 saw Stella sending an email about Ofsted, only just getting it from Nisha and Darius and made it clear to Joe that it’s nothing to do with him. She then suggested to Darius to bend a rule if it comes to it after showing her experience in Ofsted. Whilst Schuey was suggesting to Agnes to talk to her parents accept her religion , kym was treading carefully with Leoni. Darius and Stella then gave a briefing and telling the Ofsted staff about how everything is under control. But it was far from control, as Lois speaking out about history got Neil having a panicky moment. And Darius was also caught with Nisha by another student and her friend, leading to bribing forest into doing the question answer session. We also saw Nicky getting very overwhelmed (which I’ll mention in a moment), and when Stella revealed Darius sent them there, they were soon coming in and revealing some of the affairs. But Leoni said her piece on how the school is different, which got Stella reflecting. She was then having a go at Darius after finding out about Forest and wanting to keep his reputation. After Stella having a chat with the inspector about the overall inspection and expecting changes, all the staff were celebrating, apologising go Darius and taking away his extra responsibilities, which obviously wasn’t in his plan. Elsewhere, Portia was declining makeup work to focus on football, whilst Nicky was wanting to treat Tonya, but Tony’s announcement on linking his football club left Nicky feeling uneasy, particularly as it was also during Ofsted. We then saw Shola asking about Portia, whilst she gets curious about Tony coming to the school, who she finds and gives her a technique to help calm her stress. This then got Shola being concerned whilst Tony explains why he wants to link the clubs and Nicky gossips about him to Donte. Nicky was then asking Tonya about a shed aka “The Cave”, whilst Portia getting offered to play in a certain position, sparking concern from Shola whilst Nicky confronts Tony about hidden miscommunication. It was soon going downhill after Shola was joking with Mitch whilst spotting Portia with Tony, trying to warn her after her experience with Mike, but got sent to the inclusion unit, and was stopped by Tony and encouraged her to help channel her anger. Tony was then asking Shola to go easy on Portia , followed by Tony’s lashing out at Nicky and chatting about their living arrangements and explaining the pain he caused the family. It then got Tony asking Nicky to come over to show he’s changed. I don’t think he mah have changed, as Tony was then having a go at Portia whilst pumping up Izzy (in which Darius suggested she take part in sessions to help with her anger and praised Donte for his work as a single parent). The training session then saw Tony be tough on Portia and things getting too much for Nicky, but was thankfully stopped by Stella, revealing Darius sent more pupils than he should (which was why she got overwhelmed earlier). After the session, Tony made out to Donte that Portia is having drama after he offers Shola midfield, and Nicky was apologising to Tonya, with Izzy stating how to channel her anger. But it soon became a hard watch when Tony was meeting Portia at the club and getting her to try on the shirt in front of him, but things turning vile, only to have Nicky and Tony’s surprise him. Elsewhere, it was nice to see Freddie and Luca playing, but soon got side tracked by Cat, showing him a dating app and Cat encouraging him to go for it but got rejected. We then saw Luca doing a joke in class whilst Cat finds a out his date is not real. And Freddie confirmed that Luca was behind “Rob”, and got guidance by his interpreter to help him. Luca was then talking to Freddie about how it was him and why he did it affecting their friendship and possibly something more. Something I could relate to as a disabled person myself. And Stace was showing Aleena Mia, and was declining Noel’s offer of breakfast. But Aleena was pointing out she’s putting on a brave face, showing that she shouldn’t miss out on stuff. Nisha was then checking in on Stace, and reassured her Noel has his support, and whilst Wendy was liking Noel’s food, his hope fir for a pay rise didn’t help. But Wendy had a plan with Noel Surprising Stace, which she appreciated and suggested a date for the registry office for them to get married. Episode 5 saw Tonyas 16th birthday taking place, with Nicky sneaking into Tony’s bag to find a present for her. As the day went on, Tony revealed to Portia about a academy looking for under 16s, with the two of them and criticising her for shopping after she mentions about her plans, getting her to train extra hard as a way of punishment. Tony then made out to Nicky about needing to cover at the club, with her reluctantly accepting. Tony was then having a go at Porita whilst Ashton and Ben were are talking about a rave, and it may come into hand for Nicky, as she was then asking Ashton if he could take Tonya out, to avoid her getting upset over tony, but it didn’t go to plan. We then saw Tony revealing the truth and giving Tonya a shopping voucher, with Nicky telling her it’ll be for a good reason, but was shocked to find the shopping voucher. It was soon revealed to that the real reason why tony can’t make it is to do some training with Portia, getting her a bracelet and the meaning. Whilst Tonya and Izzy were surprised by Shola getting seen by a cute boy from her middling agency, and after Nicky was wanting to apply for a job application, she soon revealed that the meal has been cancelled and revealed to Debs about the present situation. Pretty soon, Portia worked out Tony cancelled Tonya because of her, and Tony ended up blanking her in the process. Nicky was then wanting to bring in Portia for a check in, but noticed the bracelet from earlier, which then followed by her meeting Tony at the club. This then got Nicky asking Donte about his view, and something he mentioned in the last episode sparked his concern. We then got to see Portia finding out about Tony’s early retirement (which is probably the reason why he was the way he was), and Nicky found out the reception knew nothing about the match, and confronted him. Despite falling for bud lies at first, she then saw Portias bag and confronted him again, only to lock her in, with Portia calling the police just in time. Nicky was then encouraging Portia to tell the truth and mentioned about her youth that impacted her today. She also reassured her that sending the pictures was Tony’s way of keeping a hold on her, and news of Tony’s arrest getting spread around, with the magnitude of it was taking its toll. Elsewhere, Schuey encouraged agnes to speak to Leoni, stating there’s a reason why she’s upset after speaking from experience. But Agnes ends up pushing him away after trying to get her to talk to him multiple times. It then led to trying to get Leoni to talk, causing friction between the pair and accepting the offer to go to Ben’s rave after talking to Ashton about it earlier and offered her to come. They were then soon taking drugs, with Ashton initially questioning him about it. We then saw Ben talking to Agnes about the snow globe Hope made, in which her death was the reason why he had was doing drugs, and also revealed her sister aka Leoni’s mum was killed and that she was killed by drugs, and Ben turned her down after she kissed him. Elsewhere, Stella was going through the budgets which included the inclusion unit, causing Darius to get the power to go out and everyone getting cold, whilst Stace was struggling with her paper work. Darius being the little devil he is, made out it’s the boiler, with Stella suggesting to contact the site team. After Noel was getting grief for the food, Darius suggested they for health and safety reasons, closing early. It then led to Stella finding out the boiler was turned off , pushing the meeting away. I can only imagine her shock when Stella coming back to the house and kicking everyone out, finding the drugs Ben was using. During the early closing, Nisha found Stace asleep, and reveals why she can’t finish her school work after being late earlier. But as a young mum herself, she encouraged her to believe she can do it, helping her get through it. And even I was shocked when Nisha revealed she’s pregnant, and in that moment, Darius convinced her that it’s a chance to move away and have a fresh start, making out he has some Inheritance after she asked him why he wants to move away. Finally, Episode 6 started with Stella worried about her pension going missing and finding out about the drugs, adamant to invest in the inclusion unit following Portias incident. At the briefing, Stella announced that Mike would be coming in to talk about the dangers of grooming, whilst Nisha encouraged Darius to get Stella off his back (and more on that later on). The big topic of this story was the aftermath of Tony’s true colours from the past two episodes. Tonya was worried about herself following it, but confided in Donte about it, confused of the situation with Portia. It’s a good job Donte was offering his services and looking out for her, and I can totally agree with Nicky after Neil made a comment she didn’t agree on, and Mitch thankfully took his side. After Ashton was checking in on her, Tonya was asking Portia about the situation, which understandably upset her. Mitch was also showing his support, telling Nicky about wanting a reference after a job she applied for, but decided to maybe not do it after blaming herself. She then revealed that Tony has been charged, and questioning on why he came back in the first place. Everything soon got too much for Nicky, kicking everyone out and Debs helping her to let out her stress. Tonya was then seen apologising to Portia, but got in a confrontation with Beamer. Mike thankfully was there to arrest him, with Portia saying the teacher sorted it out and were more reliable. Tonya was then confiding in Ashton about how she blames herself despite coming to defend her, and made the decision in breaking up with him. Nicky was then confiding in Debs about her life choices, and Debs made her realise how brilliant she is. Portia was then talking to Tonya about Tony, convinced that they won’t end up like them, thanking her for standing up to Beamer. And bless Leoni for checking in on Nicky, recalling what she told her about channeling anger in a good way. She then apologised to Mitch, who convinced her she’s great with the kids and won’t report it to SLT, encouraging her again about the job. Tonya was also apologising to Nicky, now realising it’s all Tony’s fault and asked about coming with her after getting an offer for a new job, but reassured her it’s her decision. It was good on Donte wishing Nicky luck in her new job and thanking her for helping him through his grief, with Tonya wanting to go with her for a fresh start. All I can say is good luck to Kym Marsh and Summer Bird for whatever comes their way next! Nicky and Tonya will always be in our hearts. But that was plenty of dram outside of this horrific ordeal. As after Cat and Izzy praised Shola for her modelling, Aaron gave her some tips. She also questioned Aaron’s way of making content, but managed to have a good time shooting. even if she get caught by Val. But shortly after Shola was talking to Izzy and Cat about Portia, she decided break up with Aaron after his different views of a modelling career. There was also trouble with Schuey and Agnes, as after he was talking to Portia about everything, Agnes tried to talk to him about the events of the last episode. He then revealed that it was Portia who got abused by Tony, followed by agnes begging Ben not to tell Schuey about the kiss, whilst finding out Beamer is his dealer and revealed about Portia (which led to the confrontation at school). Away from it, Joe and Mike had an awkward encounter and asked about Schuey, with him revealing Agnes told him. Schuey was also asking Agnes why he told Beamer about Portia, and the reveal of her and Ben which got out of hand. It then led to Agnes and Schuey talking about the situation but was also awkward with Mike and joe in the room, and Portia getting Agnes to wake up and own up to her mistakes was what she needed. Despite schuey telling Mike it’s over between him and Agnes, and he gave her advice on if he loved her and gives up, he’ll wonder what if, whilst Joe apologised to him about last series. Schuey and Agnes then apologised to each other, wanting to be with the real versions of themselves. After what Nisha said about getting Stella off his back, Darius contacted Serena Michelle to make out Stella needed time off, with Stella making it clear that she can handle her stress and organised a locker search. Whilst Darius was doing the locker search, he was talking to Nisha about if he’ll get the sack, only to find drugs in his locker. Stella had no choice but excluding Ben after the search with Serena Michelle letting her know it won’t affect her reputation and got her to look at her decision again after everything he went through with Hope. It then caused Darius to drug her coffee, with Stella thinking she has pent up stresses, with Serena telling her to take some time off and Darius suggesting not hold the fort whilst Stella is off. I think we all know it’s not going to end well. But there was a nice moment during the episode. As after Neil told off Freddie, it got Luca to reveal his feelings for him, and agreed to help each other.
After The Flood:
This week I saw more of the brilliant show in the fictional town of waterside. Episode 3 saw Sam and go getting finger prints from the Bensons and their colleagues, with Alan being out (when in fact he was with mackie) but Harriet felt on edge about the police coming in to help. We also saw Pat putting baby Eve to sleep whilst giving an update on Saskia Bale, getting Jo to look for something after being unable to sleep. She soon was caught by Jack, making out he has a swimming lesson the next morning and stated how he has good intentions, with Jo asking if Jack knew all of what happened last series. She soon got suspicious as Sam was going into Jo’s office, claiming it was for heartburn tablets, whilst Jo is up for flood warnings, noticing the X’s and relooked at the clues. She was then going to see Alan, and whilst that was happening ,Jack going to the swimming group was quite amusing to me, Molly and the rest of the ladies. Meanwhile, Jo was noticing the X in one of the photographs, and asked Alan about a chemical plant from the company Anexous, with Alan explaining it and fed up of being targeted, with Harriet admitting they updated security. Whist getting his finger prints, Alan was asking about Jo’s father whilst mentioning about Mackie. She also noticed the X on the company and graffiti, with Sam telling her to delete it on her personal phone, but looked into it knowing it’s a vital clue. At a school, Molly was visiting Layal, who got complaints following the fires, and also took some samples from the sewage and asked to test, revealing her old phone got knocked. Pat was also reporting Jo on Eve whilst she also mentioned to him about Sam going through her desk and along with the information about Alan and Mackie, and encouraged him to be a good brother to Kelly for Keith’s homecoming. Jo was then reporting her findings on X in the briefing, and got permission from Balsara to go to the company, and also he confirmed about Mackie’s alibis. Jo then told Molly about Alan Benson whilst also asking Jack about it, and also Molly updating her on Layal’s findings in the river, and Jack being suspicious. Sam then revealed the weapon didn’t belong to him and an unknown number from Jack came to Jo’s phone, who asked to chat about Mackie, but made out it was Eve’s nursery. The ladies then met worker of Anexous Stephen sellers, showing the plans and revealing an incident. He then revealed he didn’t report it due to the owners telling them not to, and the CCTV footage showed three using a key card and noticed a medical alert, with Todd and Xav being the intruders and asking who another victim is. Molly meanwhile was telling Tony about the no swimming signs whilst Keith comes back. Back at the station, Balsara was giving a brief on finding the third person with the bensons being people of interest and asked about the witnesses, whilst Jo mentioned about the magic mushrooms, and Pat asked about meeting Jo to find more evidence on Mackie, ordering a car trackers. I think I spotted a moment where Mackies true colours are showing, as Jo was overhearing Mackie being strict on Deepa whilst saying she can meet Jac. Whilst Molly found Donna’s house abandoned, Jack mentioned about why he took some time out but decided to come back, asking Jo why she’s not saying anything now. He then revealed the Bensons owns Uplands and their link to Mackie, wanting to be allies. Back at the house, Molly was asking about Todd and Xav, but Finn was not able to remember, only to find there’s toxics in the water, and that Finn is done with petitions. Molly was then reporting Donna’s disappearance Jo, and which got her wondering if she was the third person. Later on, we saw Pat picking up Eve, only to find Keith in the house with some adult toys. I did like the same moment between the pair, with Pat checking in on life after prison and thanked Pat for everything, revealing Mackie for him work and offered to meet Eve. We then saw Jack ringing Sarah, little knowing she’s already in waterside, and not only was Tony worried about Donna and Declan, but also about his health after getting diagnosed with leukaemia, followed by Declan taking it out on molly due rk stress. We then saw Jo meeting Pat and showing her a recording from 2005, revealing it was Harriet benson, with Harriet finding a fire with his name on the moors, and chasing the thief. Jo was then needing to find out what Mackies doing next and Pat getting an update on social services, whilst spotting the fire on the moors. It then ended wirj Mackie meeting Sarah about Saskia Bale, sending him a warning… Finally, Episode 4 saw Deepa explaining the possible person after the fire were caused, with Jo asking about why it’d happening in the same location. Alan was also convinced it’s a target, and Jo warned him to let the police do their job. Deepa then revealed that Izza saw Finn, which caused his suspicions, Ann’s Tony was talking to the police whilst Molly was seeing to Declan, who’s convinced tony is dying. But he was thoughtful in making him an MRI playlist, but doesn’t want Donna to know if she comes back. He soon apologised to tony for his behaviour. Molly was then asking Jo about the Benson slogan, with Jobrevealing they had activists targeting them and Molly was asking where the pollution in the water is coming from. Jo then suggested to think about the connection with Aexous and told her to say they’re looking into it if anyone asks. Pat was in the process of catching Mackie out, starting by putting a tracker on Mackies car whilst spotting Deepa, making out that Eve dropped her shoe, and asked for Jo. Mackie was then ringing Sarah and Jo ringing Sellers for an update, and asked for details for the third person. During a briefing, Balsara and Sam made the search for Donna to be a priority and stating about Aexous, asking Sam of her whereabouts during the fire. Tony and Molly waiting at the hospital whilst talking about the water. Tony suggesting an inspection but was told that they had to warn them in advance. Jo and Sam were then visiting a lady called Miss Smith about the Aexous key card, and may come back after remembering Finn works at the pub she mentioned, only for his profile to be part of a counter terrorist unit with him not being happy. Finn was then being interviewed about Aexous and the murders, followed by Sophie’s plans and how he turned her down but checked in on them. She then asked about his past crimes and the flood, which got Jo looking at the CCTV footage whilst Sam reveals the fingerprints were not his. She then noticed that someone stole something from miss smiths bag and revealed that the person she was with is Layal Ellis, Mollys friend. Whilst Jo and Sam caught Layal, Molly drove tony from hospital, seeing jack and Sarah together heartbroken. Sarah was asking Jack about his financial situation and offered him some jobs, with jack revealing Mackies involvement and his link with the Bensons. Sarah then got him to work with her, with Jack asking if he can trust her. It then got her Sarah ringing Mackie with him getting an update on social services and Sarah asking about Alan benson. We then saw Pat following Mackie whilst Jack came to find him, with a confrontation taking place and queried him about the caretaker that was actually murdered, and wanted the money within 24 hours. And Pat may need to watch his back, as Mackie got a call back and clicking on that someone is setting him up. During an interview, Jo was showing Layal the CCTV footage which was interrupted by Finns post a few years ago. During an interview with him, he revealed he did know Xav and Todd at a grief counselling group, but realised he didn’t share their interests and revealed Layals involvement. Back with Layal, Jo revealed forensics of her items, with Sam nearly charging her, but revealed her involvement and didn’t want to come forward in fear of being killed, admitting the graffiti and the fire of the slogan in the moors, furious at the bensons for their work. Elsewhere, Molly was ignoring Jacks calls whilst she visits Alan, who reveals the connection to Bren and blamed the pollution for Tony’s cancer. This promoted Harriet to tell her that they wouldn’t put nasty chemicals in the water, with Alan making a threat. Balsara was then updating Mackie on Jos awards and revealed to him on a car case from 15 years ago, but made out that Jo was seeing someone else, soon setting his sites on Pat. He was then ringing Ian about the car case. Jo was also asking Layal about the Bensons gun, denying that she killed Todd, but that Xav shot Todd. Layal then revealed what happened on the night of the break in and that Xav took the gun. Pat giving a note on Todd’s and the case overall in Todd’s death. Whilst Pat was needing to get Eve, he revealed Saskia was a former foster child, and Jo offered to get an update on her but it before Sam was spying on her. We then saw Mackie telling Sarah about jack and Pats involvement, prompting him to find out what’s going on. He then saw Molly, and revealed of “Pats plan” and not inviting Tempo, with Mackie searching the place. Molly herself is also getting suspicious as she was Molly testing the water and spottier the Aexous building. She m then told Jack to back off, whilst Deepa asks Jo about her new man, only to get a gun for test matches, revealing it to be Donna. Little does Jo know that Sam and Mackie may be working together…
Personal:
Exercise:
This weeks exercise included my usual gym routine and yoga, and also some good times on the bike when I got to the 10kmark. These included 13mins 42secs on the Monday, and 13mins 34secs on the Saturday. I got to 15k on one of them but not on the other, and that's okay, because I know I'm capable of doing it again!
Cooking:
This week I went to something simple. This of course was a delicious carbonara. I haven’t had this meal in ages, so it was good to make something that started my independent cooking journey. And of course it was delicious, the pure definition of comfort food.
Survey:
I’ll be honest, I couldn’t remember if I did some surveys in more than one day. But I did do a few at the end of the week, and it was quite relaxing whilst watching the Olympic Winter Games (which I’ll mention in a few more sections). A perfect activity to end the week.
Darts:
This week consisted of my usual two matches. For once I managed to finish both games, landing on a double 1 after 24 missed darts on the Tuesday, and then finishing on a double 4 on the Sunday. It was frustrating don’t get me wrong, but I’m glad I was able to finish both games for once!
Premier League:
This week was also the week of the Premier League of Darts. I only watched some of it, but I did see some updates, and there were already some shocks that night. But the night dad MVG win the night, and after a dodgy tournament last year, this was the pick me up she needed.
Winter Olympics:
This week I started watching the Winter Olympics. It had everything, from snowboarding to ski crashes, and from curling to skating. So far I’m impressed with the scale of performances but only from Great Britain, but also from other countries. I can’t wait to see what is to come over the next few days.
Gladiators:
This week more of the toughest gameshow took place. This week we saw Elliot and Tyler, and Ellie and Millie. It was a tough competition, with “Unleash” seeing Apollo taking down Elliot, but Tyler beating Phantom. Despite a tumble, Elliot managed to beat Electro, and Millie beat Diamond on her debut. “Hang Tough” also saw Athena struggle and Millie beating her, and “Gauntlet” saw Tyler thrash them, but Millie being caught up in Fury. Finally, “The Eliminator” saw Tyler absolutely destroy Elliot, and despite Millie having a head start, Ellie managed to beat her. It’s safe to say it was a brilliant Heat.

The Masked Singer:
This week saw a double elimination. I was shocked by the first one, and it was quite a nice feeling. But I was quite pleased with the second unmasking, as it was someone I'm so familiar with. Another great week of music and guessing, and I can't wait for the final to find out if my guess on one of them is correct.

Gogglebox:
This week was the return of the tv series of people watching tv. There was alot of gossip within the household. Ellie and Izzi talking about their margarita intake, and Jenny and Lee were talking about their breaks. Shaun talking about his friend's wedding and his vegetarian options to the rest of the Malone's, and Abbie gave her honest opinion Georgia about her experience with Hello fresh. Andrew and Alfie talked about their attempts at dry January, and Ellie asking Izzi if she has jowls. Finally, David was talking to Sophie about about how he tried a clothes in a shop, Jenny and Lee were. talking about stuff that come up on their phones after talking about it beforehand. They also watched alot of the stuff on the boxset. “The Apprentice” saw the boys do a kids story about something that shouldn’t be a kids story (which I kind of agreed on), and “The Floor” saw two contestants take on their specialist subjects. “Pole to Pole With Will Smith” showed the bottom of a hole, convinced that there could be stuff to save lives and found a spider to gain some venous, and “Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich” saw one earner doing questionable content with a certain part of the body (which makes me question why to this day). “Motorway Cops: Catching Britain’s Speeders” saw a proper James Bind style chase, all caused by a fuel theft from a man in a Bently car, clearly high as a kite, with the Goggleboxers being impressed by the chase, and the BBC News showing the rise of fraud locksmiths, and using a security camera to set up a trap for the con man. Finally, “Bridgerton” saw Benedict meet Sophie for the first time, and the Goggleboxers shock to finding out she’s a maid is brilliant (and a perfect way for me to see the snippets before I watch the series), “Secret Genius” showed Jessica with her challenges linking to confectionery.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
I don’t think I have any challenges per say, but there was one moment where I thought I needed to do more hours of my “collab” to avoid losing money. Thankfully it wasn’t the case, as my line manager will get it sorted. There was also the case of managing my workload. But I know I could manage it, and that I’m slowly winding down my list.
What have I learnt this week? Don't over rehearse, as sometimes, just simply recapping the notes is enough.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time...
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
