Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week, which is also the final full week of September, featured me being part of a brand that was supported by a well known singer, me returning to a dish which I was so happy to make, and also knowing my bodies limits. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 22nd September 2025:

Professional:

Acting Class:

This week I continued learning about self-tapes for my acting class. This was more of a talking session rather than an acting session, but I still managed to learn some tips and tricks on the dos and don’ts of a commercial self tape. This will definitely be something I take with me going forward, and keep an eye out for the tapes I filmed during the class as well.

Acting Jobs:

This week I continued my many applications on both Spotlight and Mandy. I managed to get an audition on Mandy where yes it's not paid, but to get something is the best thing. It also goes to show that I can do it!

Social Media Promotional Shoot:

This week I took part in a promotional shoot for a popular supermarket brand which was Aldi. I absolutely loved it, and the star that featured was absolutely fantastic, a once in a lifetime experience. I’ll give you hints of who the star was based in the image below, where you can see a spec of their face along with a little stamp I got just to show that I was part of it. Please also see the link for the full promotional video, and don't make sure you keep an eye out on my YouTube @theautisticactress2000 for a vlog of what I got up to during that day.

Content Filming:

This week I managed to film some stuff for my acting page in the next few weeks. This was linked to the self-tapes I’ve been learning in class, and at the time of posting this, I’m currently waiting for some feedback before I post them. I can’t wait for you all to see it when they do come out though, and keep an eye out for other stuff, including my thoughts on the National Television Awards a few weeks ago.

Other Skills:

This week I also filmed some material to use for the next potential Open House event. These included the impressions sketch and also two songs. Whilst I’ll admit I’m not a strong singer, I also want to step out of my comfort zone. But at this point I’m just taking things one step at a time, and if my teacher does give me the go ahead with a song, I can at least develop it to know the pitch, power, projection and tone of it.

Act On This:

This week I finished a brilliant table talk. It had everything, from how to improve the production values on a self-tape, to ChatGPT becoming Ross’ new best friend. But all in all, a brilliant and thought provoking podcast where Ross and Petch keep us up to date with all the latest information in the acting industry.

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 15th and the first three quarters of 17th September. Having the day off advised by Carla was the last thing on her mind, as Lisa was determined to find out why Becky pretended to be dead, who then confronted Costello on the whole thing. He claimed it was because an operation Becky was involved in went wrong, but it only lead Lisa into a breakdown, only for Becky to not say anything about it, which Lisa finally agreed to after Carla thought that Kit was genuine when she revealed the truth to him. Even though Carla trying to get Becky and Lisa to talk for Betsy's sake didn’t work, with Betsy confiding in Dylan about her dead mum (and the feud between him and Brody not helping), Becky finally met her after thinking Ryan was a thug. I can also imagine her reaction when finding out Lisa knew, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next. But that wasn’t the only drama. Following the hit and run, it’s understandable that Fiz is worried about Tyrone’s surgery results, and her suspicions were right when he woke up but couldn’t feel the sensation of his legs, rushing for an MRI and revealing a blood clot is what caused it. Despite the second surgery going well, where the long road to recovery will be the biggest tests yet. And I can get Roy’s point on finding out who did it as a coping strategy, but I’m sure she’ll help out the family during this dreadful time. Little do they know that it was actually Carl that did it, with the CCTV footage proving that Dylan was with Brody (who Lisa asked kit if he got involved in it) following Brody having a seizure, and I got Dylan’s frustration when Sean asked him for definite. And good move on Dylan for wanting out, but Carl is about to suffer the wrath of Kit when he gets suspicious as well. I hope Abi will find out the truth sooner or later though, as amongst Debbie telling her about her and Glenda infiltrating the dementia choir she got barred from, something tells me she won’t be happy about it after asking if the car used in the hit and run was linked to Fiona (who also gave him a tough talking to). And Theo is slowly showing a dark side again whilst moving into the new flat, with the aprons I feel having a hidden meaning behind it all following Theo’s treatment of the previous week. And it also started to show when George apparently “interfered” again, with Theo claiming he wanted Todd all to himself, especially when sorting the new stuff out. And Todd mentioning “skeletons” he has in his closet was another sign of something bad happening, which after seeing spoilers, it’s about to get darker. When I did continue the episode from 17th, Becky revealed that the reason she didn’t say who she was with was because she wanted to keep Lisa and Betsy safe, resulting in Betsy herself wanting her back once she had chance for everything to sink in. And after seeing some sneaky spoilers, I think Becky may slowly break down Carla and Lisa. Along with Dylan definitely wanting out of Carl's dodgy dealings, and Carl himself being questioned by Kit, Tyrone decided to keep the extent of his condition to himself, leading to a difficult conversation between him and Fiz about the future. Finally I watched the show from 19th September. Theo was stressing the room being messy (with a hidden meaning that it’s pet of being a coercive controller) and also about the court case with Todd insisting he’ll help unpack whilst he goes to clear his head. And after Billy and co decided to help out, Theo tries to mask his unease when he spots the two of them hugging, and also having to sink his teeth whilst Christina and Mary get into a fight over karaoke. This then left Todd speechless when Theo belittles him again, and if Millie and Miles saw this, I wouldn’t blame them for not seeing him. Outside of the street, Evelyn and Cassie worry about Fiz and offered to help whilst she was at work. I do get why Fiz told Evelyn not to give Hope and Ruby false hope, but at the same time I do agree with Evelyn in that she doesn’t want to scare them. And you know when you and your family around, when Tyrone convinces Cassie to help out. And after getting a slight sensation in his leg, he gave everyone update to fiz, evenlyn and Cassie on the next steps, and whilst there’s still a long way to go, at least it’s a start. But Evelyn managed get a distraction in looney tunes whilst confiding in Roy, who also has his own problems (which I’ll mention in a moment). Tracy is still a woman on a mission, winding up Abi, but Carl the made a statement that she’s getting £500 or nothing with Tracy not backing down. This then resulted in the salon getting broken into with Carl backing his alibi with Debbie (where he helped her get a singer to join her local dementia choir which was a success) and Carl knew how to get under Tracy’s skin when he FaceTimes her with Ken in tow. But the real culprit was Dylan, who made his decision to not be involved with him final, along with Brody (who confided in Dylan about Joanie and missing her and his plans) and Dylan being told to stay away from him, which is just as well. Although I don’t necessarily know how carl will react when Abi convinces him to tell Kevin the truth. Meanwhile, Roy interrupting a conversation came to Becky revealing the truth, straining his friendship with Carla. And Lisa trying to reason with Roy didn’t help and it certainly didn’t impress Carla. And with Becky taking the blame, there’s going to be more bumpy roads ahead for the swain and Connor clan.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a couple on the rocks following a big secret, love being in the air and flashbacks triggering a realisation. Mondays episode saw the aftermath of Nancy revealing the truth about Morgan’s paternity. We also saw a flashback to the night itself, with Nancy explaining why she did what she did. I do get her frustrations on working at such a busy environment and then the factors of being a parent, so I do get why she maybe needed an escape from reality. But I don’t think that’s an excuse to cheat on someone. Even though Darren made it clear he doesn’t want to talk about it, I think he may start to spiral again. But that wasn’t the only drama. Following tony being rushed to hospital, Diane finally confessed her feelings for him, and gave a piece of the McQueen mind when she found out that Joel was the one who attacked him. That, along with Cleo being frustrated about Sienna committing the crime and Mercedes being pregnant is adding more tension, and getting John Paul (who has obviously relapsed again) to lie to the police is something that he is unsure of doing. And Jeremy is one step ahead when putting siennas stuff in the washing, but a list Dodger found only made her look even more guilty. Tuesdays episode saw dodger giving Cleo the alleged list of victims Sienna had, with Vicky overhearing Robbie being one of them, and you can imagine her devastation on this. He then also told the news to the Osborne’s, where following the aftermath of Nancys revelation, sent Darren’s mood plummeting, and also lashing out as Donny for not doing enough. And Cleo made Joel realise he needed to change following her saying she’s pregnant with his baby. And after Jez goaded Sienna about Cleo and Dodger (who find themselves in each others arms), the Sienna we know and love will stop at nothing to prove her innocence. Elsewhere on the street, Tom made it clear that Clare will be caught out, even though Donny’s actions say otherwise, and after Peri gained some advice from Diane and Marie (who made a sneaky decision, probably linking to Cleo’s baby), the date between the two of them was what they needed. Finally, Wednesdays addition saw the follow on from Cleo and dodgers moment of madness, and whilst settling in, a passing comment from Cleo made dodger realise that Sienna couldn’t kill Abe as she was with her that night. And after lying to the police and seeing Diane, who kicked him out after getting a call from Tony about the statement being made, John Paul tried to seek solace in alcohol elsewhere, but not before he realised that Jeremy was the one who killed Bobby after hearing a similar phrase to the night it happened. But he isn’t the only one in it for Jeremy. Clare, following Froggys instructions to set fire, realised during the poker night that Jeremy had her money, and decided to use seeing Sienna and Ste to her advantage. But I do hope that Darren will realise that relapsing isn’t the best idea.

Eastenders:

This week in Walford we saw a new resident, one resident putting himself in a sticky situation, and one resident contemplating a fresh start. Mondays episode saw Cindy officially moving in to help Lauren and Peter with Jimmy. Although I have a feeling that it’ll be interesting, as she’s not in the Ed for moods at the Albert, with Freddie messing up the drinks, and Mo not doing her job properly. But the appearance of newcomer jasmine seems interesting as Oscar realised that it’s the same girl on his dating app he’s been using. But after doing some research, she may be about to cause mischief. Peter also took Jimmy to his first baby sensory group, meeting fellow mum Demi, who has a very unique job. But I hope this doesn’t ruin thing between Peter and Lauren, as the last thing we need is another affair/cheating scandal. Kat is also determined to help Zoe find her baby, but Jean gossiping isn’t helping, leaving Zoe to reveal why she abandoned her other baby in the first place. This then led to Zoe getting questioned about allegedly assaulting Greg, leading to Kat getting Phil’s colleague Ritchie to step in, and boy you do not want to mess with her. With Sharon returning as well, Zack made it clear to the sisters to leave what Zoe did behind, and she then apologised to Zoe herself. But I wonder what she’ll do when Kat admits that unless she doesn’t reveal the whole truth, she won’t help her find her baby. Tuesdays episode saw Sharon catching up with Phil (who later had a good civilised chat when she came round to his later on), with Vicki being angry at a confrontation about him in the process. Did then led to a confrontation between her and Vicki, which was as broken up by Zack and Anthony. But after confiding in Anthony about how she really feels, him making a move on her wasn’t the best idea. I may not know the social cues, but I don’t think kissing someone won’t make their problems go away. And after Sharon found out about it, Zoe revealed who the father of her baby is, which is quite shocking. Meanwhile Howie is in up to his neck in it to help Kim, and a present from her delivery did make him question things. And Jasmine is causing quite a lot of trouble already, getting Freddie fired and getting a job at the Albert. And Peter is in a pickle as he ignored Ian’s advice about Demi (as even though Lauren isn’t Ian’s biggest fan, he of all people should know how the impact of cheating can feel), but with penny spotting them together, I wonder how it’s all going to pan out. Wednesdays episode saw Yolande give Anthony advice when it came to Zoe. Speaking of Zoe, the follow on from her revelation on who the father is, which happened to Sharon’s deceased husband Dennis, which escalated in a fight between her and Sharon, whilst also causing tension between her and Kat. After confiding in Vicky on how loyal Dennis was, and after some words of wisdom for on Kathy and Ian, Sharon agreed to help Zoe find her son. Peter is also in a pickle as the hanky panky he has with Lauren was his way of covering his guilt, and being grilled by penny was not helping. And during his performance at Johnny's birthday, even in it sure if Lauren is feeling reassured when Peter reveals the friend he met at baby sensory was a woman when she saw the text on his phone. But at Johnny's birthday, Jasmine was shocked when Elaine tells her all of the dark stuff Cindy did, and Elaine also encouraged Johnny to be there for Callum. And Stacey has a big decision to make when her brother Sean asks her about moving to Brazil and not Jean. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Stacy book the flights to Brazil, with her telling jean, and lily telling jack and Ricky. And it’s moments like this why the kids are wiser than the grownups, but after Stacey failed to turn up for Lily, it made her realise that she needs to put the kids first. But I wonder what she’ll do when lily has a change of heart after she mentions about the father figure she never had and not wanting the same for Charlie? And Zoe is also still adamant to find her baby with Sharon’s help, with her role in researching the private investigator Zoe got in contact with. And after being hesitant at first, Kat was on her side after helping her grief for her deceased daughter. And penny made things abit awkward for Lauren and Peter when they meet Demi to set the record straight. And peters surprise to show Lauren he can be spontaneous and passionate will just add more drama to the chaos. And jasmine is definitely playing hard to get when it comes to Oscar, with Cindy making it clear to her that he is bad news. But when he reveals the sordid things she’s also done, it looks like he might be playing with fire.

King and Conqueror:

Episode 4: so be it

This week I watched two episodes of this brilliant show. Episode 4 “So Be It” saw Emma still brainwashing Edward about god, with Harold barging in asking about Edith. This then resulted in a deal to give Gunhild an heir if he wanted to live, and he was finally reunited with Edith, and meeting his new daughter Freya. She also reassured Harold he did the right thing thinking about the children and Harold telling Edith doing the right thing about not telling him of the pregnancy. All I can say is Gunhild is also making her mark as queen when suggesting to Edward to make an heir as promised and after being mocked by Emma and also stated it clearly to the treasurer. But drama soon was erupting at Tostig and Justin’s wedding, as it saw tension between Sweyn and Harold and during the speeches form both Godwin and Harold, Sweyn had a sense of jealousy, especially when Harold offers Tostig position the earl (which he didn’t want), and after swain literally ruined the ancestors memory, a confrontation with Godwin left Harold concerned for his health, whose Godwin used a fire analogy on why Sweyn doesn’t want to be his enemy. And Harold’s decision on Sweyn being sent to Jerusalem after mocking Harold was kind of a hint that it would happen. And Edward killing lady Emma whilst lashing out is only just making things worse. And during the news of Judith being with child and Tostig set to be a father, Gunhild got wind of Williams being Edwards successor after convincing him to do so, and Godwin's last breath was to fight for the crown. And speaking of William, his right hand man Fitz informed him that Henry escaped, but the trap set with the barons worked. But it still wasn’t enough, as William was adamant that he needed to be dead and ask for his brother Odo, which then led to a suggestion for him to be a church man. Baldwin also made the suggestion of being a guardian to Henry’s son Philip, with Matilda reminding him that William should do the work, which he agreed to. When ir finally did happen, and mentioned it to Philip, it somehow still wasn’t enough for him. Episode 5: The Beast In The Mirror, saw the news that Sweyn was sent to France after some rumours on his behaviour in Jerusalem. And Edith and Harold made the dangerous journey to Normandy, which I personally didn’t want to be in, with a flashback looking what happened after the crash whilst Harold convinced Edith he needed her. Thankfully it came to halt when Alain of Brittany stated that Normandy and Britain should not be enemies, with him then convincing his father on the process. Williams unease of him being Edwards successor showed, but Harold stated that it could be key to form an alliance, whilst also learning about their lives. And whilst in Normandy, Matilda and Edith learnt about their lives and their reasons for being with their husbands, with Edith stating it’s for her children. Whilst being suspicious when Baldwin reveals that Philip is still on France, Matilda pointed out why an alliance is a good thing. Matilda then the bold decision to Edith on William to be king and Harold being the advisor, only to find out from Harold that Godwin's last words were for Harold to take the crown, but not before William and Harold came to an agreement on this moment whilst William used an analogy on king Knut. And I have a feeling that during Whitsun, hosted by bishop of Bayeux (who turned out to be Williams brother Odo), took place, it may be a foreshadowing event of what’s to come. But after the melee, a prayer resulted in Harold being the next heir to the throne. But with this will come onto more trouble, as whilst Tostig’s position as earl is off to a great start, the death of Judith and their child during birth will sense a lot of fury for Harold, and Harold’s henchmen caught Sweyn out, which resulted in his death. And Edwards mindset resulted in his death, which I think will be an interesting turn of events.

Hostage:

This week caught up on two more episodes of this brilliant drama. Episode 3 saw Downing Street go into chaos following Dalton’s announcement, which lead to a meeting in the House of Commons. Whilst Oliver Bahrami made an accusation about her linking her to a young boy called Attaf Diwala, Dalton managed to fight back. Toussaint also revealed her scandal with Matheao to her husband Elias, and Sylvie also revealed that she told the journalists about the story, thinking that Dalton cares more about her job which strains their relationship. Whilst still trapped, Tom and Alex suggesting a plan to escape and despite the other doctors hesitant, it was the only option they had. Kofi meanwhile praised Dalton stating he’s not going to quit despite her broadcast now changing the game. This then led to another meeting between her and Toussaint, with Toussaint getting a French team to rescue Alex and his team in exchange for helping her, with Dalton then proposing the drugs she needs and then to rescue Alex. But that’s not the only thing she needed to look at. She then asked Ayesha to do a background check on a list, which revealed some shocking information about one person which I’ll reveal in a moment. Toussaint then shared her plan to her Adrienne, little knowing what’s going on, with the head of the gang that kidnapped Alex coming back to the UK and him being informed from Adrienne. After a meeting, a Dalton was then confronted by her dad who come to a disagreement based on past lives, with her dad teaching her about professional work over personal matter. So it’s obvious they had different ways of working. And Matheo and Saskia's plans interrupted by Toussaint and Elias and demanding he wants Saskia there with him, with Elias demanding a plan for church and Matheo adamant he wants no part of it. Whilst Tom and Alex discussed the plan, Ayesha then informed Dalton of Kofi having some dodgy dealings and the French team being sent, and despite Maya not being so lucky, Alex and his team were rescued, but shortly followed by Adrienne and Kofi being kicked out by their own leaders. Adrienne for being arrested after being caught by Kofi, and Kofi being suspended for her money secret. Toussaint was also having her own tension when Elias threatened to reveal her secret linking with Matheo, although she was adamant that if he ruined her life, she will ruin his. And the gang leader made his mark ruining a memorial for Attaf whilst informing Dalton that it isn’t over. But a discovery from Matheo May have made him realise that Saskia is also not what she seems, as she makes Daltons dad meet a dreadful end. Episode 4 aka the penultimate episode saw more, protests against Dalton happening, which resulted in Home Secretary Michael from Daltons team getting injured in the process. And following the death of Max, she and Sylvie were grieving in their own way, which followed  Ayesha revealing of Robert’s attack revealing a bleed on the brain. But Dalton was trying to keep her cool when the cabinet reveal that she may want to step down, but she made it clear she wasn’t going anywhere after revealing the death of max, and having to face a battle with her colleague Daniel Olgivy stepping in as interim prime minister. Along with that, she saw the video of Toussaint and Matheo going everywhere with Matheo finding out who did it, with Toussaint also getting questioned about her wrongdoings, and with no problem ended things with Elias, realising what she really wanted as her reign as president. Dalton managed to find out what the secret money account was used for, with Kofi himself revealing that he needed it for a family emergency. Whilst his actions were not great, I could tell he was desperate. Dalton also revealed about the kidnappers being British and also about Dan Ogilvy’s campaign as prime minister, where he was enlisted to help her find anything bad against him. Along with Matheo finding out about Saskia's role as a corporal and how she leaked the video, the reunion between Anderson, Dalton and Sylvie was short lived when he had to do another important task. This was meeting general Livingston and seeing if he could recognise the voice of the person who took him, which as you can imagine is all overwhelming for him. But I think that Saskia is the daughter of Shagan, which is the name that Adrienne eventually gave after she had nearly was shot following being questioned, claiming that Toussaint was a fraud. And also because of a shot that was aimed of Adrienne going wrong was. This then lead to Toussaint finally accepting a deal, and she made an empowering speech on helping Dalton with the NHS drugs, revealing that she’s doing what’s right for herself for once. Despite Dalton not getting the majority of the votes, like the true superwoman she is, she won’t rest until the job is done. Little do they know that Shagan is witnessing everything following Matheo going to number 10 to tell Toussaint she was right about Saskia. And I loved the ending as Shagan caused the explosion which sadly killed Toussaint (protecting Dalton) but I hope this will give Dalton the fire to catch whoever did this.

The Rumour:

This week I watched more of this brilliant thriller based on the novel starring Rachel Shenton. Episode 3 kicked off with Joanna finding Sonia dead, later suggesting it was suicide. This shocked everyone in the village, and getting grief from Debbie certainly didn’t help. But it was a good job that Rachel was defending her, being the good friend she is. She also saw Liz in a state (who later on also heard her singing a certain song but wasn’t unsure what it was), with Bea revealing that her and Sonia used to be friends, but the relationship between mother and daughter became strained when Bea blamed Joanna for her suicide, which resulted in her moving back home. At least Debbie had the sense to apologise for her behaviour, but that didn’t stop the mums still gossiping about her being dally McGowan. Stephen also showed his unease on the house Joanna was wanting to view, which was then followed by moving back to her new house and mark asking her questions, revealing that the tablets didn’t actually kill Sonia. But at least she got support from Michael, who she confided in about the other mums and that he’ll stay and help in whatever way he could. Joanna’s suspicions were also raised finding Fatima whilst exploring the house, claiming it was mark, but after Joanna spotted Stephen, I wondered myself if Fatima is having an affair with him, given his past history? She then got speaking to Liz after speaking to Sonia, claiming she’s doing it for Alfie, revealing that Liz was the last person she saw and went to prison for drunk driving. Later on, at her workplace she noticed the reporter talking to Stephen as a sneaky way to get a story, who then revealed that Sally actually had children, even though she found out she hadn’t had any. And whilst showing a couple Kay’s house, she somehow found a letter addressed to Zoe fletcher (Kay’s daughter) and pills that were the same to Sonia’s linking to a flashback of what Kay said about Zoe’s whereabouts. Later on, the village still weren’t happy following DI Saunders giving the latest information, with Joanna overhearing bad stuff from Debbie whilst Saunders asked her questions. At least she had a friendly ear in Rachel whilst confiding in her about Kay lying on Zoe’s whereabouts. You would also think that Michael and Joanna reuniting would be a good thing following his concern for her wellbeing, but going behind his back and opening Zoe’s letter I feel will not go well. As Kay is adamant she’s not Sally when Joan’s confronted her, followed by a nightmare of a fire, and having such a relief when Michael and Alfie are okay after hearing a smoke alarm. It was a good job it was only because they were making breakfast (as that’s something I’m most likely to do lol ). Joanna then revealed about who Seth really is (who is her half brother), and also the real reason why she moved to Flintstead which is in fear of abandonment, which I think is understandable, but with Bea in the dark about it, I don’t think it’s going to end well. And after getting another threat (which may be from the same people after looking at the photo more carefully), Joanna also made a discovery from Liz linking to what the reporter whilst looking for her mum.  The penultimate episode saw Joanna’s suspicion on Liz grow, whilst Michael revealed that he knew what happened at Alfie’s old school in London, with her threatening a child. And to make matters worse, Stephen revealed that Kay will not be selling to the company following her altercation, resulted in her potentially getting fired and asked to leave the abandoned house alone. But she may want to think that after finding Kay unconscious after trying to talk to her. Feeling the danger, she also warned Alfie to stay away from Liz after telling her she has bad dreams too whilst asking Bea about Liz herself. She took a big move when meeting the Journalist at the abandoned house, making it clear it needs to be anonymous. It also looked like it was de ja vu all over again when Alfie starting biting whilst talking Joanna was talking to the other mums,  with Debbie not being impressed. And whilst letting slide stay at a sleepover, Rachel gave Joanna a clue on sally and noticed a card on Rachel’s fridge. This then led to a confrontation between her and Debbie, revealing that Debbie sent her the cards, fearing for Stephen cheating on her again and having the Sally stuff being a distraction from it, with a flashback linking to Fatima and the band one’s house. But at least they managed to clear the air. Joanna also got the truth from Liz, who revealed the photo was of her son whilst hiding her sexuality, then demanding her that it needs to stop resulting in another bad dream for Joanna. I’m also glad that Kay is forgiving Joanna for saving her life with Joanna herself apologising for her behaviour, revealing she told Zoe’s violent ex on where she was. But whilst one friendship was rekindled, another relationship was broken with Zac Cooper (the reporter) revealing Joanna’s statement before she was going to tell Bea herself, which resulted in the mother disowning her own daughter. But following a FaceTime with Seth, he shared Joanna a picture of her mum, dad and her as a baby with the shirt named Lucy. After confiding in Michael on Beas reaction, Joanna recognised her mums handwriting on the painting he got from Sheffield,  sending her into a meltdown. Bea then revealed that she was in fact Sally McGowans, and they Joanna’s real name was Lucy, and definitely disowned her for good following the revelation and that there was no fire in the process.

Personal:

Exercise:

Although on the bike, my timings were 13mins 42secs on the Monday and 14mins 9secs on the Saturday, which were a lot slower than usual. But the important part was that I got the job done and managed to get to 15k, even if it did take me slightly longer. Here are the overall results of what I did during the that 15k.

Cooking:

This week I made a fish related dish. I haven’t done one in ages, mainly because of the aftermath and how it makes the rook smell, but I wanted to do it for my independency and I also gained a tip from my Nan on how to stop it sticking to the pan. I’m surprised it didn’t mess up my way of cooking, but if it’s for a good thing in the long run, then so be it. And I think everyone liked it, and I can see why as it was delicious.

ree

Short Stories:

This week I started drafting a story based on a show I saw 2 years ago. It was actually quite nice doing something like this again, as it was something different and helped keep me regulated. I'll admit what I wrote is not great, but something is better than nothing, so within this busy period, I can continue it through in the hope of giving me the self-care I need.

Surveys:

This week I did a fair few surveys, so I would say on the percentage scale I did about 15%. This was a brilliant one for me, as it was in double figures and it helped me distract myself from the outside world. Definitely feeling proud of myself knowing it’s within my busy period of the year!

Darts:

This week I had 3 practices and one match. Let's just say that I definitely need to work on my finishing, as once again I still have no success. So going into next week, I can focus more on getting those doubles in, hoping that one day I will finish a match.

Parenthood:

This week I watched the penultimate episode of this brilliant nature documentary. This time, it was focused on fresh water, from birds that can store lots of water, to turtles making it to their mothers, and how Cichlids help their young thrive, it had everything. But with Lilly trotters’ habitat changing, there’s definitely more challenges to come as a parent. And it’s the same with the elephants when it comes to finding fresh water and grass. But a community who helped raise young orphan elephants is one of the many signs that good things are happening! I can’t wait for the last episode, whenever I watch it!

ree

Strictly Come Dancing:

This week I finished watching the launch show of this iconic series. As always, Chris and Diane’s waltz had me on tears, and the group number was absolutely fantastic. But with Dani Dyer now out of the show due to injury, let’s just hope that the other contestants don’t meet the same fate. I also watched the first half of the first proper week and wow there were some surprises. George, Jimmy and Stephan surprised me massively, and I was in tears with Harry and Ellie for different reasons. Harry for being open on his injury last year, and Ellie for showing that having a disability shouldn't stop you from doing what you love. I also liked how everyone comforted her during the show, as I do get that it can be a very overwhelming experience (and I would feel the same as her). But however far she goes in her journey I know she'll be in the safest of hands with Vito and the rest of the Strictly team. I can't wait to watch the rest of the show next week.

Gogglebox:

This week the telly critics had some more crazy adventures. These included Giles being open to Mary about his funeral song in their own humorous manner, and Abi telling Georgia all about her adventures of her new job. Tristan told his brothers Tremaine and Twain’s about an orchestra he went to, and Michael and Sally were proper testing Harry and Jake about who is the best driver. Ellie and Izzi gossiped about Toby’s parking, and Shirley questioned Dave on a quiche he brought. Finally, Jenny told Lee about how much one brand of a remedy for her chesty cough was, and Daniella took a real interest Danielle’s eyebrows in their own hilarious way. They also reacted to more brilliant shows! “Married At First Sight UK” saw an entertainer not being the brides type even though she said she’ll be open minded, and “Made in Chelsea” saw a betrayal in friendship when it came to love, whilst Jenny and Lee’s imitation of people from Chelsea was brilliant. “Waterloo Road” showing a drug scam caused by a new staff member, hyping me up for when I do eventually watch the new series, and “Dolphins Up Close With Bertie Gregory” showed a spectacle of animals hunting for fish. “Win Win” revealed some interesting questions linking to surveys from brits, and the ITV news gave us information about wanting to applying for MI6, which the access is quite surprising and suspenseful. And finally, “Top Gun: The Next Generation” seeing contestant Austin realising he’s out of his depth, and “Slow Horses” saw Roddy being strung along by a girl.

Challenges & How I Overcame Them:

I guess you could say that some of my hard moments this week included feeling what I think was the early stages of burnout. As my eyes were warm and heavy, my mood was funny and my back from when I injured it back in May was starting to hurt again. However, what I did to manage it was that I scaled back a few things, whilst also using my self care activities. And because I’m off from my day job for abit, not only will it give me more time to look at all things acting, but it also means I can do more of my none acting activities too. I think another challenge was my dad taking a turn for the worse again. But then I remembered that it was all part of his condition, and that he will battle through it in no time.

What have I learnt this week? When there's a will, there's a way. And during the promotional shoot for Aldi, I definitely found a way. But I'll mention it in my vlog when it comes out next week!

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
