Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week saw me performing at a showcase to celebrate amazing talent, more content filming & prepping for my family kitchen being redone. So without further ado here is what I got up to on the week commencing 17th November 2025!
Professional:
Acting Class:
This week I did more of a writing session. This was a brilliant session, and one definitely needed to get my creative heads on. And even though what I wrote wasn’t great at first, it definitely included the key elements needed for a great monologue. And I got to perform the monologue I’m doing at the open house event, and with some brilliant feedback, I’m definitely going to take it on board.
Show Case:
This week I took to the stage to perform in a showcase. After initially signing up on a whim, I think this was one of the best decisions in my life. The organiser did a brilliant job, everyone was lovely and it was a brilliant environment. It was also nice to get a lovely gift as a thank you from her as well, and a brilliant quote on it got me inspired for the future!
Content Filming:
This week I’ve been filming more content, more specifically moments from the showcase to make as a YouTube short/mini vlog. Along with this, it’ll most likely be out when I take a break from my weekly highlights so then I’ll have more time to check the footage and make sure everything is clean and slick for when I do release it. Keep an eye out on my social media for when this along with my amazing other content will be coming out!
Acting Jobs:
This week I was slacking on applying for acting jobs/nudging my agent on some due to it being a busy week. But I still managed to look at the ones I’m most interested in, and sadly I didn’t get comedy sketch gig that will be filmed in Nottingham. But all I can say is good luck to those who have been selected, you’ll all be amazing and I can’t wait to see the final product. I’ll also keep you all updated either in the final weekly highlights next week or during the holiday highlights on if I do my traditional work at Belvoir castle or not, given that things may have changed during it.
Act On This:
This week I listened to a brilliant Spotlight Surgery on the latest Act On This podcast. This session really got me thinking about how to layout my profile, and I also learnt key trick when it comes to labelling clips, and also a hack on how to label your most recent credits before I email them to casting directors or other creatives. This was overall a brilliant session, and I’ll definitely take it into consideration when I break up for the Christmas holidays!

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 10th and 12th November. And it was a big week for own family. Shona was not bothered of the gender of the baby, whilst David admitted that he doesn’t want a girl due to his hatred to Kit. It then led to Sarah and Shona telling Abi about what David said to Kit, and then asked Kit about the future, which made her feel uneasy when he was unable to give an answer. It then led to Kit confronting David about interfering, and ended up abusing his authority, with Shona losing her temper with Sarah having to take her to hospital. Soon enough though David ended up apologising and begging, and revealing that he’s taking him to the hospital. Whilst she was waiting for David, Shona talked to Sarah about the joke, but it made her question about her relationship with Kit, suggesting to break up with him with Kit and David turning up on time. But Shona questioning why he got arrested was the least of her concerns, and despite how David said that it doesn’t matter what gender the baby is, the nurse revealed that she found a mass on the baby’s neck, but David reassuring Shona that the Platts are survivors. She soon enough got an appointment for the consultant the next day but lying to Audrey about it as a computer error. Whilst that was happening, Kit came round and explained how he had his own company for years and really wants someone to join him, prompting Sarah asking to move into her flat. At least that was something positive, whilst David was trying go distract Shona from the worst. I also liked how before the appointment, we got a insight into their inner thoughts before the appointment and what they really wanted to say. During Shonas perspective, we saw her get annoyed at the littlest things, and Dee Dee talking about her baby didn’t seem to help. She was also annoyed at Roy’s talk of his model train, and David’s dog jokes. It then got Roy coming to ask her if she’s okay, revealing about the “re-scan” with Roy reassuring her that she can tell him anything. She then finally lost it, asking David if he doesn’t want to come, leading to an argument and telling him to get out of the car, when she really didn’t mean it. But finding a humorous poster was the only way to cheer her up. I guess whatever works for her. David’s perspective saw him show is concern for Shona, hiding the fact that she needs to eat something. We also felt his pain when he had to listen to Sally, Mary and Audrey gossiping. He soon enough lost his temper, with Audrey showing concern, but not wanting to tell her due to not panicking. He then soon got a call from Gail and Kirk asking about Kevin’s poker night (which I’ll mention in a moment). We also saw that David was secretly annoyed of babbling on, followed by David opening a package revealing baby clothes, which was why he was taking so long, with David indeed coming and finding a laughable moment just before the appointment. But both of them hearing about the cocktail night wasn’t enough for the news they prepared for, as the doctors revealing the mass on the baby’s neck and mentioning different options and possible setbacks and finding out it’s a girl. The aftermath saw Shona trying to see the positive, but David being a realist on this occasion which caused abit of a rift between the pair. Shona then told him it’s similar to a cesarean, questioning of the baby is worth it. But they had to put on a poker face when the platts had dinner, with Audrey sharing a family story and revealing they’re having a girl, not hiding the full extent. After they all talked about baby stuff, Shona is adamant she wants to keep the baby and having the procedure despite david expressing his concerns. This is definitely going to be a long journey for David and Shona. But that big revelation for David and Shona wasn’t the only thing going down on the street. Fiz was feeling the strain of looking after the house whilst Hope and Ruby are still at loggerheads, and Tyrone felt guilty for not only doing much but telling her of the situation. And whilst Kevin gave Tyrone some much needed self care, Tyrone confided in Kevin about life after his accident, who then tells him to be honest with her and Kevin admitting he still cares for Abi. But bless Fiz as she was reaching breaking point at the factory. We all nee a friend like Michael to help her calm down, and it then led to Fiz stating how Tyrone could do the simplest things without moving. And Kirk offering to help only pushed tyrone and fiz further away. Michael mentioning that Fiz is out of character and how she broke the machine prompted Tyrone in coming to see her and fixing for machine, revealing that Michael and Sarah knew, stating that they thought he knew as well. Fiz revealed that she didn’t want to put any pressure and Tyrone stated why he didn’t tell Fiz about the trolling. Tyrone then mentioned about going back to work to do some paperwork, then making her promise in getting her to talk to each other about how they’re really feeling. Elsewhere, Will was giving Ben and Eva the silent treatment whilst Eva herself feels undermined by Maggie, who’s convinced that Will is having a blip and made the suggestion to get back into athletics. Whilst Lauren wanted to know the secret recipe to a hotpot whilst teasing James on his sweat, Eva asked him to help out Will, but when James was trying to give Will information, he understandably got annoyed when texting Megan. After Eva, Ben and Lauren went through the cocktail menu (with one suggestion left Maggie questioning), James then told them about Wills attention span and Will lost his temper, with Maggie then prompting on listening to what Will wants. Whilst eva was stressing on the cocktail night with the maker not showing up, Will called about a “athletics meet up” Megan organised (and I’ll explain what it was really at the end of this section). Eva’s own cocktail “the hurricane” didn’t go down well with Rita, and Ben stepped up for Eva when Maggie found out about Wills whereabouts. But a good distraction Mary coming in and hearing Rita’s cocktail story. Ben then told Eva to cheer up whilst he got a call from Megan about an accident, therefore the team spending a night in a hotel and Maggie told everyone an interesting story leading to everyone singing “sweet Caroline”. It turned out that will and Megan went to watch a film, and the “accident” was an obvious excuse to get Will alone with him. Both me and my dad were also sorry for Carla and her drama with Lisa and Beck. And it all started with showing her annoyance with Becky staying, struggling to believe her story of being watched. And Lisa even wondered if it’s true, but didn’t want to torture Betsy. And after convinced her to avoid talking to Costello, and after Becky covered up her lie, it was clear it was becoming too much for Carla, covering up her stress to Michael. Following a typical teenage phone call with Betsy, Lisa still shared her concerns about Becky, with Becky overhearing everything and swearing on Betsy's life. But she soon brainwashed Betsy about Carla, where Betsy then grills her about it, with Carla making her stance clear on Becky, with her leaving and calling about getting rid of Carla and planning to take Lisa and Betsy. Oh dear… Following the news on Abi moving in (where Carl was nowhere to be seen. Typical!) as told by Shona, and after Tyrone stated he’s still on Kevin’s side, Kevin having a poker night was his way of trying to avoid Abi. But Sally showed concern when Kevin decided to go to extreme lengths, and after Ben not being able to come, and feeling lonely, and after confiding in Glenda after his poker night and how he staked his car, he and came home to an empty house feeling lonely. Poor Kevin. And Sally definitely showed her concerns even though she admitted that Kevin was already had a poker. That along with the news of Lou being in court, but decided to keep it a secret for now, as Joanie will be coming home soon.
I also watched the show from 14th and 17th November. Elsewhere, Ollie was sorting out the new menu, and Ben and Eva get an update on Will. Lauren then unexpectedly in as Maggie invited her, and Will and Megan nearly got caught by George, which soon followed by her letting him down gently. He then came back after the family discuss meals, and Maggie was determined to get to the bottom of what’s going on. And after Gemma chatted to her, Ben thanking Megan and ended up going to the rovers, whilst Maggie told Will about how he’s young and his whole life is ahead of him, which also led to questioning him about Eva. Maggie then stated she wants Will to be happy and told a secret about life. Eva and Ben soon got to know Megan, praising her for the positive affect, and Will seeing Megan and soon turned sour after revealing he wants to quit. And during a menus tasting session, Ollie grilled Will about his love life, with Will covering it up by saying that she dumped him, with Eva and Maggie having different views on how to get over it. Megan soon got into his head how grateful she is of Will, and is planning to stay in Hull, with Will telling Ben and Eva about going back himself, claiming it’s for his athletics, with Ben talking about his travels and to keep an open mind, whilst Maggie was siding with Eva. But just as Ben came to accepting Wills decision, they were interrupted when Eva and Maggie revealing that Megan will come regularly as an alternative. But they would have to be careful when Tim nearly catches them, whilst she tells him to prep himself. From this, Will was feeling grateful and Maggie decided invite Eva to a girls trip. It surprisingly went well after Bethany gave a pep talk on what’s going to happen and having a chat during it. And Eva decided in celebrating treatment session, praising Maggie to spend some time with her claiming that bonding over Will helped. But Maggie secretly still doesn’t approve of Eva whilst she complimented Bethany’s looks, so I’d be interested to see where where the mother and daughter-in-law feud would go. Meanwhile, Theo was cooking up a plan whilst making breakfast, and Todd came to George’s rescue whilst Theo met Gary for jobs. I also found Lauren sassing Theo for his manners very entertaining. Todd soon came to the rovers and found out about Theo working with Pete, and Theo then told Todd not to listen to George, ordering Todd a double vodka tonic behind his back, which definitely seemed suspicious, and I was right when Todd passed out drunk when he got back. And it was going to ruin the day, given that Todd was supposed to help George with a big funeral. And that was only the start. Theo ruined Todd’s shirts whilst Todd was hungover, and George was trying to get hold of Todd which annoys him, with Christina telling him to stop stressing and soon made a plan. Christina then came to see Todd and telling him not to panic, whilst Todd was blaming himself. George was then berating Todd, firing him and reported it back to Theo, who then tried to get him to unfriend George. The aftermath then saw Todd and George in an argument and kicked him out, with Christina telling him to kiss and make up with him. Abi soon quizzed Todd on selling the car, only for him to have a go at her infidelity and reported to Theo on his and George’s row. Whilst that was happening, Christina then asked George on what he would do if he wasn’t an undertaker but convinced him to make up with Todd. And Todd himself having a workout and Theo criticising his fitness levels, telling him to break his “cycles” was not helping. After he invited George to chat to Todd, and it only led to pushing him away and quitting, being in Theo’s full control. Oh dear… Elsewhere, Sally was panicking about Joanie coming home, whilst Tim looks at phots of Trisha, covering it up to Sally about football team news. And whilst Brody was asking Gemma about a shopping list, Kit blurted out the court situation. After Sally was found snooping on Tim’s phone to question Trisha, Brody confronted sally and Tim, but it came at a bad time when Joanie came back. Thankfully they managed to cover it up to the social worker, and Joanie wondered if it’s because of her (where Sally reassured her it wasn’t). Brody was obviously not happy about it, and he saw Kit at Speed Dhal, revealing that Lou got 4 months. Brody then stated that he’s more mad at Sally and Tim, where Kit made realise why they did it, due to being from a good place. And I did feel for Brody when he thought he doesn’t deserve love, apologising for his actions, feeling grateful for the pair of them. Whilst that was sorted, Sally still grilled him about Trisha, and it only got more tense the day after, whilst the family had a lovely meal at the bistro. But the mood turned sour when Trisha come in, and it nearly ruined everything after Sally tries to spy on her. But when she did confront her, Trisha claimed the boy is Rory her nephew, and Tim was soon lashing out at Brody when he makes a joke that went too far. After this, and whilst Kit was moving his stuff into Sarah’s flat and talked about his breakthrough with Brody, their alone time ruined when Brody came round to co himself off (which I found quite funny). But bless Joanie for feeling like it’s back with Mick and Lou, and whilst trying to maintain a family meal, Sally told Tim to handle it differently particularly around the kids, with Tim then confronting Trisha, who implies she didn’t do something wrong, leaving Tim thinking that he may be having a wake up call. Kevin was also in a foul mood, closing the garage but Tyrone not getting work (admin work to be precise) after Kevin reveals he’s letting go of Brody. Tyrone going to the garage and still having a disagreement over it, with Tyrone telling him that they always had each other’s back and that he doesn’t recognise him since breaking up with Abi. But soon enough Kevin learnt the error of his ways, apologising but claims that Tyrone’s problems are more important despite Tyrone telling him he can tell her anything. And Kevin would soon be caught up in my drama, as it started when Roy gave Abi a present, and querying about carl and Debbie’s commitment to her and Alfie. Abi then asked Carl to come to collect Alfie after falling ill, and Carl was struggling with him, leading to Kevin taking over. And when Kevin dropped off Alfie, telling Abi about it, making it clear that Alfie needed to be a priority, Abi was soon having a go at Carl, who then claims that he did it for her (I beg to differ). And following the special episode, Lauren offered to give Frankie’s clothes whilst there was still tension between David and Shona. David and the Platts soon talked about life with them , telling him to be kind to Shona without knowing the full story. Shona then saw Lauren’s baby clothes which she was then annoyed of a passing comment David made. Shortly after, Shona tasted popcorn as part of a diet she’s on, whilst she questions David on if the baby is worth it, and the answer not being something she wants to hear. And whilst David asked Ben about his accent, Shona finds him and not sticking to his plan with Ben praising her. Shona then showed David different supplements and suggesting to tell the Platts the full extent but at the right time. But something tells me that it won’t be long before they do find out.
Hollyoaks:
This week we saw consequences for one resident when protecting a loved one, one resident realising that something that happened to his colleague also happened to him, and the real culprit of who shot Tony Hutchinson. Mondays episode picked up from where we left off, where Dillon tried to make Lucas see that what he did to Ste was wrong. It then led to Ste opening up about the severity of it, leading to a moment of madness between the pair. Dillon then gave a very inspiring speech on how the pressure of “being a man” reflected on not only Lucas but also Dodger and Ant (which I’ll talk about in a moment). And the cheek of Lucas to get Leela thinking that Ste was the one who hit him, and it only led to Ste getting arrested. But Dodger slowly lost his temper work Ste, and causing him to crumble. But prior to the interview, Dodger was on tender hooks following the aftermath of his rape ordeal, and queried Sully on any updates from it. Feeling like he was being laughed at, he then found out from Donny that Sully is also Froggy's son, leading to asking Donny about who’s Sid’s he’s really on. Now Donny telling him to lock everything that happened in the box didn’t help, hence why he lashed out during Ste’s interview. And Ant is showing more signs of bad behaviour, and eventually admitting to planting the knife on Darren, and that the video of him was only a joke. And the way he’s being with Diane about how he views women and making a snide comment on Ro was the last thing they needed, and I have a feeling it’s linking to the start of another important storyline. Tuesdays episode saw Ant's behaviour get to a point where he ended up lunch a walk through his door. And mentioning his misogynistic views on women prompted Diane to recall what Eric did to her and Maxine, which I remember very well and how feeling lost in the world may have triggered that reaction. Ant then showed Diane who he was following that led to these views, and was surprised that Prince was one of those people. But it looked like Prince wasn’t going to stop anytime soon, shocking even his family, and Ant making a comment prompted Diane to ask if he short Tony. Elsewhere Dodger had a chat with his boss about Ste’s interview, and suggested going to one of his colleagues birthday celebrations to help. But his colleagues making a comment on Frankie’s appearance obviously made Dodger annoyed (but I loved Vicky's comeback). It then prompted him to leave the party after Sully made a comment that flashed back to the night in question, and made it clear to Donny that he wasn’t coping with what happened between him and Griff. Donny then revealed the full extent of what happened and his involvement, devastating Dodger. And Ste explained to Lucas that he covered up what happened to protect him and also make up for lost time after taking about the past. Dillon was obviously not happy about it, and even though they’re not together anymore, made it clear that he can’t forgive Lucas if he doesn’t make Leela drop the allegations. And James jr saying his first words were soon interrupted when the CPS came to look after James following the accusation, so Lucas better start talking soon before this all goes too far. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Ant go into the station and admit his involvement in the shooting. Whilst he admitted to not actually shooting tony, framing Darren is landing him in the hot seat. And it was good that Mercedes helped tony with his physio, but I understood why Ro ran off after Mercedes revealed she lost the baby. And her comforting him on how Tony will get better made her feel even more guilty, as it was revealed that she was the one who shot him, admitting it to Warren. I don’t know what he’ll do with that information, but what I can say is that he’s drawn back into griffs death again, with a conversation between Donny and Dodger taking place earlier, with Sully overhearing everything. He then reported it back to Froggy, who then saw him and Warren chatting. But Donny visiting the place where griff is buried left with a confrontation with Sully, who revealed that on the night Dodger was raped, the same thing happened to him. I don’t quite know what he’ll now do with that information? And Goldie persuading Leela to tell Prince about his videos being taken the wrong way, and making him realise what would happen if boys like her son Daniel saw it, it made him realise the error of his ways. But I’m with Goldie when she senses fears for her son when he announces that he’s planning on getting back with Leela.
Eastenders.
This week saw controversial feelings growing, one resident being disowned from the family & more clues linking to a stalker. Mondays episode saw Vicki clearly still shaken following her ordeal with Joel. It didn’t help that the family Liston officer said that he’s pleading not guilty, meaning that it will have to go to trial. And whilst Kat mentioned about how she may be getting on with Ross again, drinking herself into an oblivion is not the answer. And after overhearing Chelsea’s date talking about things in which Drake Zagan would say, she finally lost it and got herself in a sticky situation at the launderette. Elsewhere, Jack was asking Ravi on what to do linking to the county lines group, but not before Avani could see how much it’s affected Barney following Harry’s overdose (who then turned to more alcohol leaving Nicola concerned), and confronted Ravi about how much it’s affected people. But Priya overhearing a conversation with his boss (when really it’s his job as an informant), only created more friction, and it came at a worse possible timing as the social worker came to discuss the paperwork for the adoption. And with Eve's criminal past (which thankfully was mentioned early on), I do hope this doesn’t affect their chances. Finally whilst Alfie was having more pub quiz drama (where Honey clearly wasn’t happy), Zoe then played matchmaker with Anna and Freddie after getting an update from Kat on their relationship so far. And after initially telling them to stay out of it, Zoe had an idea when he mentions that he and Anna like birdwatching. Tuesdays episode saw Zoe and Kat put their plan to help Anna and Freddie in action, using a birdwatching themed question to help bring them back together. And it looked like it did the trick, but Alfie seeing Zoe read comments about the Vic soon made everything sour, but after Alfie admitted that he could be wrong, I wonder what Zoe is hiding? Elsewhere Vicki as panic stricken after hitting Chelsea’s date. But thankfully Zack came to the rescue, and let’s just say you do not want to get on his bad side. And Vicki confiding in him on how she really feels about all of it led to a moment of madness. I actually found it white funny when Kathy caught the pair, but they insisted that it was a one off. But after speaking to Ross following Kat giving him a pep talk, claiming that he’s going to make Joel change his mind, something tells me that it’s going to be the start of an affair. I can feel it. And Barney was concerned about Harry. And so he should be with him taking another overdose. And following the Panesar-Nandra family arguing, it definitely scuppered Suki and Eves chances of adoption, and made a stance that Ravi needs to leave so that they can officially make it work. And with Ravi showing Priya a picture of the kids, stating that they’ll threaten them if he leaves, a visit from one of the gang will only cause more drama, even though he is an informant. Wednesdays episode saw Alfie still convinced that Zoe is faking all of these things happening to her. And after getting advice from Freddie (who’s all loved up with Anna following Zoe’s and Kate successful match making plan), Ernie getting hold of Zoe’s pepper spray only made things worse, suggesting to Anthony to convince Zoe to get some help along with suggesting to Kat that Zoe finds somewhere else to stay, for the twins sake. But he may have to rethink that when someone breaks into the cellar. Elsewhere, Oscar is still getting nowhere with Jasmine, and even some encouragement from Patrick to be more romantic didn’t help. And with Cindy now back they have more drama to be dealing with. Meanwhile Robin was able to let slide what happened between Ravi and co, and still allowed them to carry on with the adoption process. But with Ravi suffering injuries and reporting back to Jack the next steps, something tells me that Avani and Nugget aren’t going to take him moving out very well. And Vicki wasn’t convinced about Ross being straight with Joel, but Ross visiting Joel in youth offenders made him realise that maybe he can’t be changed. And you know that it’s true when Joel admitted he didn’t feel guilty of hurting Vicki, which was also the reason why she didn’t want to get back with Ross, and it would remind her of Joel. And Ross asking for Harvey to help win her back may be a tough competition, as despite promising Kathy that nothing will happen romantically between him and Vicki, Zack may be in the pipeline for Vickie affections. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Zoe still on the hunt to find who’s stalking her, with a piece of jewellery with paint being a clue. And after trying to ring the police, a word in from Jack didn’t help. So Zoe went to the extreme measures convincing it was Vicki, onto go be caught out by Kathy and Alfie shaming her again. But with Jean suddenly finding it, it wouldn’t surprise me if the culprit is her. Vicki meanwhile made her stance clear when Ross hatched a plan to get back together (where Harvey even wondered if it was too soon), and I dread to think what his reaction will be like when he finds out about her and Zack, who she reassured him when he finds out about Barneys troubles. And speaking of Barney, I can understand his pain when he overhears Nicola telling Harry to get a grip of his drug abuse, and I think he secretly appreciated Zacks help. I do hope Nicola doesn’t do anything stupid, as that’s the last thing Barney needs. And Oscar is still trying to get in jasmines good books, and used the surgery that was closed to get some much needed “alone time”. But after knicking Anthony’s keys in the Albert and overhearing him say that Cindys appointment was cancelled, I just wonder what she’s up to?
The Hack:
This week I saw the final episode of the evaded on one of the biggest scandals in British history. It started with Nick being on a interview with NYC, answering some tough questions linking to Molly Dowler and revealed on Rupert Murdochs next appearance. 2011 then saw Nick, Glen, Alan, Charlotte and co discussing Rupert whilst celebrating nicks birthday, which was quite humorous to see. We then saw the paparazzi targeting Alan and then the rest of the gang. Nick then went to see David, bringing good news and bad news for Dave, asked to give evidence, and it was then revealed that Alan was hiring someone to debug his house but soon shifted to Murdoch. Nick then went onto explaining about Rupert Murdoch and his son James going to parliament on 19th July and how to approach them. We then saw the Select committee meeting taking place, mentioning Clive goodman intercepting voicemails and what he did to personally investigate it to Rupert, and then asked about Neville Thurlbeck who claims to never hearing of him and Alex Marunchak but claims to also not know of him. They also asked about his relationship to different newspapers, telling the story of his father about motivating Rupert to give him a chance to do good. He also mentioned a word called “Gallipoli”, but a attack saw him on tv and made the news. We then saw Nick confiding in Dave about how it went, with Dave reassuring him that he’s doing good, suggesting the Lord Leveson report. We then saw James Murdoch coming back, whilst Nick and Alan see police officers coming in, needing to talk to Amelia, who refused to meet without a lawyer and Nick advising go stay somewhere. He then went onto revealing that with the scandal out, it appears to be exposing people more. Elsewhere, Dave rang Jacqui and mentioned about wanting to apply for Leveson’s plan but reminding him of the kids and how it links to free case of Daniel Morgan. Sue Akers, deputy commissioner assistant, came to visit Nick, who revealed about some inaccuracy on Milly Dowlwrs case which he reported back to Alan and gill and what really happened, believing his source resulting in Alan making an apology. This angered Nick, but Alan stated that one of his priority is Nick, mentioning that he doesn’t need to apologise. Nick then went onto explaining the comments he got in the form of monstering, and then met Amelia, stating that he’s an optimist. She then revealed she’s going to New York after not being charged, revealing someone tried to get a story out of her , and Nick then revealed he was going on Newsnight to set the record straight. Amelia in turn then motivated him to keep going. BBC newsnight then saw Jeremy Paxman giving a tense interview and mentioned private investigation. Nick then explained that Jules Stenson plead guilty 2 years after the interview. It then went back to where we started on episode 2, where Dave got arrested and ringing Jacqui, revealing that he’s arrested on suspicion of misconduct. We then saw Nick reporting it and asking Glen to help him, who then mentioned that they also arrested Amelia’s source. Dave made it clear he wanted to leave due to giving evidence on Leveson and was questioned about Mike Sullivan, and explained that John Yates introduced him to Mike and therefore worked together but showed evidence he broke the law, sparking a vertigo flare up. Nick visited Alan later on to try and not make any more mistakes, remembering how they first met and reminding I’m that the sacrifices were for a cause, with Nick being convinced that Murdoch will get away with it. Alan then stated that abusers arise from damage bringing back memories of Nick’s mum, and Alan adding that they need to continue fighting and proud to be a part of it. And after Dave cams home with Glen to find the house trashed, Nick and Jacqui meet, where he praised her for her statement and Jacqui stating it’s Dave that he won’t answer calls. Nick then went onto mention that Dave helped and talking about their mental health, with Jacqui stating how clear she’s been and mentioned about launching the sun on Sunday. It then ended with Nick giving a powerful speech in court, linking to journalists like sue Akers arrested and the impact of police officers whilst Gordon brown is in the house of park Jenny and Charlotte tries to help people and Alan reading an article, and his hacking cut off him a connection. The final scene showed a transcript of everything that happened following the events of the scandal and the aftermath of Nick, Alan, Dave, Amelia and Rebekah. I won’t reveal too much as I want to let anyone reading this to watch it for themselves, but for those that do know the scandal, then it’ll be a good refresher.
Film Club:
This week I watched the final episode of the show part created by Aimee Lou wood. It all started with a flashback 8 years warlord, showing Evie and Noas first meeting, talking about brief encounter. The present saw Kam checking in on Evie, and Suz feeling hungover from the previous episode. Kam also asked Evie about hers and Noa’s departure, with Evie mentioning a letter sparked a memory from Suz, finding the note and blaming Josh, and using the feeling of sadness to actually find it. There was also a moment where Suz felt like she blames herself for what happened to Evie, but she reassured her she’s the best mum. Whilst out, the shopkeeper mentioned about Izzie’s business, noticing her business card on a cinema sign, hinting that it may have been Evie’s ideas. Elsewhere Noa was wondering about her goodbye, confiding in Sammy and Dom at the place where he first met Evie, but ultimately decided to get an early train. Evie then confronted Josh, finding out he lied about his nan, claiming he only did it as he didn’t want Noa to take her away from him, and got roped into helping her find the letter. Soon afterwards, Evie and josh were then talking about their doubts, and asking about if love can outweigh the doubts. It definitely solidified it when a vision of the future made her realise she needed to break up with him. But during an actually vision in the garage, Evie saw Noa and opened his letter only to be interrupted with a phone call from him. Suz then remembered what it said and discussing with her and Izzie a plan, encouraging Evie to see that her feelings are scary and not the world, convincing her to go to Bristol, and dressing up as movie characters. But Evie had to go by Callum’s bike when the car breaks down, only to miss the train. But she finds Noa in the waiting room, stating it’s over with Josh and the way she spoke to the waitress I think made him fall in love with her. Noa then made the suggestion to run away, discussing what to do and suggesting to come with her, with Noa stating she can be whoever she wants to be. Evie then stated she needs to live in the real one, but encourages him to go, which he did. And when Suz asked about Noa, Evie saying that her and Izzie are the real love story touched their hearts, and it did mine as well. But soon a joke from Callum was soon turned into a lovely moment when he gives her a book, and when Suz went out, Evie read a note from Callum stating why they’re similar, touching her heart. The final moments then took place at New years eve, where everyone celebrated Evie’s success and during “game time”, Suz revealed she fancy’s zigged dad and Steph not revealing her job. When it came to Evie’s truth, she said that she’ll do something that’s scary everyday. Now I don’t know if they’ll be a second series, but her reuniting with Noa and expressing their feelings in a “better ending” was a brilliant way to end the show.
Personal:
Exercise:
This weeks exercise was my usual and I felt like I was going back to my normal self. These included getting to 10k at 14mins 49secs on the Monday and 13mins 10secs when I got to 10k on Saturday, and I managed to get to 15k at the 20min mark. Mind you with the kitchen being redone (and I’ll mention it on “Challenges & How I Overcame Them”), it helped relieve some unwanted stress and tension. So at least that helped.
Cooking:
This week I did some more cooking. I did something simple due to cost and also having a lot of stuff happening, but the Pork steaks I fried was a hit with the family. And they tasted good to, which is also great! I also did the same thing at the weekend in preparation for the kitchen having a makeover, so at least we have some form of meat needed along with some sides to go in the microwave or air fryer.
Surveys:
This week I only did a few surveys in one day. Knowing that I had alt on, I knew this wouldn't be on the top of my priorities. But I'm also glad that I even did one, as it meant a good distraction from the hectic busy brain of mine, helping me go into regulation.
Darts:
This week I had 2 practiced on the sport. Given I had a lot on this week I couldn’t fully invest in it, but at least I got abit of practice in. And as seen below, I still got some decent shots in, and even my dad had a go himself, which was quite entertaining to see.
I’m A Celebrity:
After starting it on Sunday, I watched the celebrity show set down under. I won’t go into detail of every episode, but I’ll mention some of my moments. These include jack Osborne opening up about Ozzy, Lisa Riley’s sobriety, martins health scare and Lisa being the jungle mum Aitch needed. I also loved the appearance of Tom Reid Wilson (who’s currently one of my favourites at the moment) and vogue Williams. There was also glimpses of a jungle romance between Shona and Aitch, and Eddie being the biggest surprise for me, as take away his comedic personality aside, he’s also a genuine lovely guy who is always there for a shoulder to cry on. The trails were also entertaining. These included Ruby and Ginge's eating trial, Aitch's trial in The Jungle Doomsday Vault, Eddie in deep water (literally) during the A-scar-ium, and the trails linking to the bush explorers led by Tom and Vogue.

Strictly Come Dancing:
Following last weeks surprising exit, I watched the rest of the brilliant dance show. Lewis and Katya did a brilliant tango, and Lewis is starting to really grow in the competition. And La Voix ended the show on a high with a dazzling couples choice, and her tribute to her dad was beautiful to see. I also watched the start of the Blackpool extravaganza, and it was sad to see La Voix officially withdrawing from the show due to medical reasons, which must be so upsetting given that it’s where she started her career. However I don’t think dancing on an injury is the best idea. But with every negative, came a positive, and it meant that no one went home which was great! And wow so far the contestants have definitely brought their best to Blackpool. Lewis and Magyars Charleston definitely deserved a 40, and Balvinder and Julian’s Argentine tango had a lot of passion and drama. Amber and Nikita's quickstep ended in tears when their families came to watch, and Karen and Carlos’ paso doble had everything in it! I also watched the results show, which is something I wouldn't normally do, but given the past contestants in the group number followed by La Voix's exit interview, I could not miss the show. And it was a brilliant one, and a brilliant way to end the Blackpool Extravaganza!

Gogglebox:
This week the show of people watching telly continued with more crazy adventures. Jenny and Lee had a laughing fit, and Cheé showed off her new top but refusing to babysit. Pete and Sophie were getting a Spider out of the house, and Alfie showed Andrew a heating fan, insisting he needed it. Ellie told Izzi about lying on getting a Botox, and Amira was asking Amani for advice on someone’s personal hygiene. Finally, Pete was telling Sophie about his son Jimmy being “married to Collin” following Sophie’s engagement, and Jake showed sally and Harry his new skinny jeans. They also watched some more brilliant shows. “I’m A Celebrity” saw the challenge at the hotel, and “Emmerdale” saw a love triangle between Aaron, Robert and Kevin resulting in a cringy karaoke moment. “Alan’s Carr’s Picture Slam” saw a contestant making guesses on the category of “holes”, and “Squid Game: The Challenge” saw a tense game of Slides and Ladders with one player Steven getting payback. “Celebrity Race Across The World” witnessed Molly and Tyler get on the wrong bus, only for Dylan and Jackie to get on the same bus with Molly and Tyler reaching the checkpoint first after Dylan and Jackie reach the wrong hotel, and “All Her Fault” showed mother Marissa going into panic mode when her son goes missing and with some initial doubts about the nanny, it came to a suspension of someone else in which the nanny is lying. Finally, “Kings Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars” saw young chefs Sean and Dylan feeling the pressure in Tony’s Kitchen, and “Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly: Australia” seeing Goldie the golden retriever liking her owner abit “too much”.

Challenges & How I Overcame Them:
I think one of my main challenges this week was that preparations for a new kitchen being made did make me get abit overstimulated, where even though I was told this, it still got to me abit which is something I know I cannot control it not happening. As I would have to adapt my meals and cook even beforehand (as mentioned in “cooking”). But because I got plenty of warning about it I know I will handle the overstimulation better (as it will happen regardless but in situations like this it’s all about how to control it). I think another thing that got me in a Debbie downer was that I couldn’t stay for the entire showcase I did this week due to being up early for my day job. However, all the performances were recorded. So at least I get to see them still when they’re added to the Google drive.
What have I learnt this week? Feel the fear and do it anyway.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
