Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week saw me completing the main component of my challenge for Autism Acceptance Week, going to Nottingham Trent University to help out on a student project, and seeing a play with my friends where after it’s debut in 2024 and following the success it had on the West End and on Broadway, I could see myself why it’s had the success it has. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 23rd March:
Professional:
Content Filming:
This week I managed to film some more content for my socials. One of them was a remake of a scene from “Prisoners”, using the technique from Stella Adler, where as I’m writing this, I’ve refilmed the prisoners scene and is ready to post very soon. The other one was linking to my upcoming sketch, which was brilliant, and now all I need to do is edit it together to post next week! I can’t wait for you all to see the final result!
Podcast recording:
This week I helped out some students at Nottingham Trent University with their project. This was in the form of a podcast, and it’s safe to say that they were impressed. I had so much fun myself, and I did enjoy doing something completely different. But sometimes different is good, and I hope it was enough for them to get the result they want.
Autism Acceptance Week 2026:
This week I finally got all of my videos for autism acceptance week 2026 completed. There were a few challenges (and I’ll mention it in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), but all in all I’m glad I got the main bull of it done! Be sure to make a donation to my JustGiving page, and next week will be the week where you can see what I’ve worked really hard on!

Acting Class:
As a way to losen up following learning about Stella Adler, my most recent session focused on comedy and linking to the theme of awkwardness. This was a fun activity, with one of them being a bad controversial Oscar’s speech, and the other being a presentation with us being teenagers. Despite the last activity not being recorded (bringing the definition of what happens in class stays in class), I’ve never laughed so much in my life. A perfect way to end March before we move into something new, and with me currently learning the script
Act On ThisPpodcast:
This weeks Act On This podcast was with associate and casting director in her own right Yvonne Lawlor. I’ve learnt about her way of working, how she took each boys of different offices shoe worked for, and also emphasised how important having a life outside of the industry really is. This got me really reflecting, and with me wanting to explore another part of the country this year, her advice tied in perfectly with my goals! So both on a professional and personal perspective, this was a really good session!

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 18th, 19th and 20th March. During from the rest of that week, we saw Adam and Alya having a meeting with Rich, which Adam organised behind her back, and a deal led to Rich having other ideas. After Alya and Adam were talking about Ramadan and Daniel, they were soon hacked with private emails, and immediately suspected that Rich did it. The aftermath of it was starting to show, as Ronnie was the first to confront them after reading one about Debbie, making it clear how he feels. And it only affected other chaos happening, one of which was The Driscoll family. As after find out the truth, Eva finally told Ben about Megan’s intentions, with Leanne and Toyah talking about it, and Sam reluctantly staying at home after being advised to. Understandably Ben was refusing to believe the it, followed by Eva revealing Sam’s involvement and how he ended up in hospital. It then resorted to Ben finding Will in the precinct, and a conversation on strawberry shoe laces led to the topic of Megan, with Will denying it and flipping it around. And it looks like a couple might be on the rocks when Lauren and Ollie were chatting, explaining her suspicions on Will. We then saw Will reporting everything back to Megan, who told him to pack a bag and then chatting to Daniel. We then saw The Driscoll's and Battersby's reporting it to Kit at the station, reflecting on how she fooled everyone and Kit adamant he’ll make it a priority, whilst Sean and Lauren talked about what Ollie said. Patriarch Maggie was also using her own way in trying to stop Will after revealing she knew, with Kit arresting Megan and Daniel trying to defend her. Lauren and Ollie were still on tender hooks after Ollie refused to reveal what’s really going on (understandable thought given the subject of it). We also saw Sam being comforted by his family but also talk about giving evidence particularly in court, frightening him. Pretty soon though, we saw Kit updating the family on Megan, with Maggie complaining and soon starting a point scoring match on who’s fault it was, causing Will to get upset. The morning after saw the Driscoll's arguing again, with Eva wanting to be strong for Wills sake and wanting to leave the stuff to the police, soon revealing he’ll need to stay at home Whilst it’s going on. We also saw Sam talking to Kit to give his side of the story, whilst Daniel tried to defend Megan after his experience with Summer when he saw Ben. Kit was then soon asking why Sam put the camera in, getting overwhelmed and convinced she’ll be out to get him bless him. And this situation may open another residents Ste’s, as Sally questioning Tim on his mood where it’s linked to Ben and thinking he stole Steve as a friend. Later on, Kit was interviewing Will about Megan, soon asking about how something might’ve happened. It was then followed by Megan being interviewed, with Adam representing her, flipping it with Sam being the problem. Ben soon had an update to the family, and Maggie’s discovery on Chloe got them going to the chariot square hotel to get CCTV. During this, Alya was trying to sort out a reply about the hacking, and making out Daniel mentioned to Adam about Megan, and Leanne was clearly not happy about it. But the Battersby was about to get her claws out, as Rich came in, insisting he just wanted a takeaway and denied the hacking, and the revelation of Adam representing Megan got Leanne riled up. At the hotel, Ben and Eva just missed out on the footage, and Leanne was throwing Megan’s stuff out, noticed by Tim and Sally. It was then Ollie suggested to give the hard drive to the police and Leanne also revealed Megan’s pregnancy vitamins, realising that a DNA test will change everything. Daniel was then seen getting interviewed by Kit, still in denial about it, with Maggie talking to Will about the family wanting his best interests, asking about the attack and Daniel and if it linked to Megan, with Danielcoming to reveal she was suspended. It soon got more tense when Ben and Eva found out Adam is representing Megan, with Kit coming to update them on the hard drives and messages, followed by asking for a paternity test. The barlows were also quick to find out, with Tracy and Ken making their feeling of disgust clear, and Daniel thinking it’s all lies still. I didn’t like how Maggie was confronting Sam about not speaking sooner, as you try being in Sam’s shoes when you have someone scaring you into keeping quiet. it was a good job he had Toyah and Leanne defending him. Megan was then getting interviewed again and asked about the pregnancy, trying to convince him Daniel is the father and Kit requesting a DNA test. After Daniel was taking his actions out on Alex whilst asking Adam about Megan, Eva came in to reveal Megan’s pregnancy, which was the catalyst for Daniel to finally see the light of situation. Megan was updating Will on how the baby was Daniel’s and giving him a burner phone, Megan booking a taxi to get away. But she was soon stopped by Daniel, confronting her about the baby and ending their relationship. Leanne and Toyah were also confronting Alya followed by more calls and calling her out for representing Megan. It’s safe to say this situation affected the law firm, as Adam was not being served due to the severity of the case, but Maggie gave in to give him a drink. I didn’t think it was worth it when Daniel came barging in, urging Adam to drop Megan as a client after she refused to do a paternity test, heard by Michael and James, with Lauren mad at Ollie, and an argument got Adam and Daniel getting kicked out. But Megan wasn’t the only villain causing chaos. Glenda and Todd were talking about Theo, who wants to focus on his marathon and Glenda setting him up on a date, only to have Theo coming into the cafe. Soon enough, Glenda was setting up Todd a date, with Theo coming in to try and flirt with Sean, furious of the news of his date, whilst Sean asks Glenda about Theos intentions and Raymond’s date. We then saw Todd going on his date with Raymond, talking about Glenda a friendship, only for Theo to come in for Gary’s 40th birthday (which I can’t believe). It was clear that Theo was trying to make Todd jealous whilst Raymond talked about tribute acts, and Todd turning him down who took it well. This got Theo getting suspicious, and soon came round to the flat claiming go look for his charger, and Todd wanting to work on the marathon, and finding moving on abit weird. But Theo revealing he’s “leaving for Belfast” I know was part of his plan to get control. And another way to get in his grip was when Theo found Todd and James in the bistro, with him supporting the idea of Belfast and Theo slipping drugs into his drink. It soon worked as Todd was feeling the affect of the drink whilst talking about Billy and Paul, soon passing out cold on the sofa and Theo turning off the alarms, ruining the marathon.
I also watched the show from 23rd. Following ruining his chances for the marathon, Theo was pleased to have Todd not coming out, making a different story which caused James to get concerned. Todd then woke up to realise he’s missed his marathon, with everyone soon spotting him and Theo convinced he’ll “sort him out”, with James showing more concern. In the flat, Theo was trying to convince Todd it was his subconscious talking, and everyone was then talking about Todd not turning up the marathon, with Theo making out it’s food poisoning. It then led to everyone trying to cheer up Todd, and George pointing it out and also showing his dislike of Theo (which is key for this storyline). And things were about to get more tense when Summer came in to find Theo and Todd when dropping off the medal, with Theo now wondering if it’s linking to them getting back together, which they did (not great obviously). Elsewhere, following the family’s discovery of Megan’s true colours, Will trying to call her, still brainwashed by her. Sam surprisingly (or not surprisingly) wanting to stay off school after everything that’s happened, but Nick encouraged him to do it. Whilst that was happening, Alya was making another call about the hacking, with no success and Adam convinced they can’t to drop Megan after revealing his financial situation, with Daniel coming in and getting the proper hangover treatment from Roy, apologising to Adam and calmly stating he wishes he lost. They then soon got a text from Annie King (the lady who accused George of fraud). When meeting her, she was wanting to go with a different firm following the breaches. This resulted in Adam doing a plea on why she should stay, and Alya feeling uneasy about it when she agrees to continue. Amongst all of that, the family were then arguing again whilst trying to have a family meeting to talk about Megan’s pregnancy, then suggesting a counsellor to Will. At school, Hope knew about Megan being Sam’s bully, and it was nice of Daniel for wanting to apologise to him about everything, offering his services. I could also feel. For Ben Ben when calling his ex Mel (Wills mum) about the case, clearly blaming himself, when we as the viewers know it wasn’t him to blame but Megan herself. We also saw Dev and Bernie coming back from holiday, but soon spotted a van and creepy Mal coming back, revealing they still haven’t caught who did it. Bernie was then reporting to Kit on Mal's presence, and after Roy was serving Bernie and Dev at the cafe, Mal came in and Roy was using his own way to kick him out (and his approach was very brave of him). Dev meanwhile was wanting to resort to violence, but was stopped after Lisa spotted him.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw a new business opening, a family learning the whole truth, and one resident taking a brave step to discovering their identity. Mondays episode dad Diane and Tony come back from the specialist in London, with breaking the news to Dom about how the specialist said exactly the same thing. He was right to keep Any and Kathleen-Angel a secret for now, as this was more important. And after failing to reveal the truth again after trying to live life to the full and wearing her maid of honour dress (but more on that in a moment), the famous couple know that it’s time to tell the truth to the family about what’s really going on. The Hutchinson kids are also feeling the pressure, with Ro worried about losing Kathleen-Angel as a friend, but she reassured him it won’t be the case. Which is why Ste bought the wedding forward, with Rex feeling hesitant as he continues to explore his identity. And Ste wasn’t going to back down after not getting a divorce from James (knowing that to everyone else he’s still dead). He also gave something for Rex to go to a cross dressing bar, which was really thoughtful of him. I can only imagine his discomfort when Ste rebuffed the idea, not knowing what Rex is going through. It was also the day of Vicky's salon opening, and made it clear to Gemma about still taking the weight loss jabs after refusing to give her prescription ones, knowing the side affects for her. But she soon bended the rules for her and made it clear that what she gave will be the only prescription she has. And with Jenson now in the village, Mercedes was a woman on a mission to find out his true intentions, with him admitting that yes he had a plan. But his feelings for her were real. Gemma and Vicky were also shocked to discover that Hendon’s was warrens brother, and Warren himself was right to be cautious, as I think Jenson has plans of his own… Tuesdays episode saw Tony finding a letter about Diane’s oncology appointment, disappointed that she rescheduled it, and Ste wanting to get the kids to try out their clothes for the wedding. But Dee Dee was acting up again, getting to a point where Tony and Diane need to tell the truth about what’s really been going on, encouraged further by Ste and Leela when Diane wanted to tell them half of the truth. I can only imagine what will happen next when they finally find out the truth, more importantly what Dee Dee in particular will feel after a comment she made about her at school. Elsehwere, Jenson was wanting to reopen The Loft, with Warren uneasy about it due to being his business partner. Despite this, Hendon’s plea was enough to get the go ahead, despite going behind Warrens back and not cancelling the DJ. At the salon, Jenson was clearly trying to charm Gemma and Vicky, which made warren suspicious. A chat with Theresa then made him realise who he wants, but I can only imagine what will come next where after Jenson compliments Mercedes for Warren not appreciating her, Warren himself found the two of them together. Rex meanwhile tried on the suit Ste got him, still figuring out his identity, where he revealed to Froggy about testing out Mercedes’ wigs. There was a lovely moment when Froggy gave him a watch that was passed down by many family members, and I’m glad he told Ste about moving the wedding forward was a good idea, not only to make him happy, but to give Diane a happy memory whilst she has one! Finally, Wednesdays episode picked up where we left off from when Diane told the teens about her cancer diagnosis. Understandably they’re all trying to take it in, but Ro in particular was struggling with the news, and a comment resulted in him leaving the house, and a search prty commencing. We also saw Rex and Ste continue to play with baby Eva, and a question she asked followed by Ste mentioning that there will be no drag at the wedding got Rex agitated, but made out it was because of Diane. After Froggy invited the two to join for a drink, Rex declined, thinking it’s just because he’s meeting a friend, when really it’s linking to a drag night. I’m glad that Froggy was able to encourage him to go and be himself, even if it is just for one night. But he didn’t expect to see Ro, drowning his sorrows following the news. Soon the two had a heart to heart, knowing that they can come to each other if anyone is struggling, but that was interrupted by someone throwing chips at Rex. But at least they managed to get back safely, little knowing that Ste was watching on… Back at the McQueen, Warren was seething when he finds Mercedes and Jenson together, revealing that he was going to tell her that he was still in love with her, and Gemma decided to get out of the throuple completely after hearing the news. But after finding out that he was Mercedes’ special connection in rehab, he decided to push his feelings aside, making it clear that there will be consequences if he messes her around. During The Loft relaunch, Theresa was surprised to wonder if Mercedes was with Jenson to make Warren jealous. And she was right to tell her she doesn’t trust him, as Warren caught Jenson stealing money from the till. So my question to them is, what is he accused doing in the village and why is he stealing the money?
Eastenders:
This week saw family drama, one resident in financial bother, and one resident trying to get their claws in. Mondays episode saw Cindy and Max agreeing to keep quiet after their passionate encounter, with Linda masking her knowledge about it when Max asks about Annie, and refusing to go due to making out it’s because she’s busy. Bea praised her for it, little does she know of the situation. And Linda was right to be suspicious when she sees Bea with stuff after finding out previously her card was declined, but Billy masks his concerns for Honeys sake. And rightly so, as she came back and turned down Beas dinner due to seeing Nigel, who looks content. Something tells me there’s more drama on the way when Honey confides that she may be going into menopause, making the decision to kindly as Bea to move out. Suki was also still on tender hooks with Vinny, convinced that he’s made his choice after he offered her and Eve a chair at the cafe. But Eve reminded her that the family need to be United for the sake of their foster child, knowing the social worker will be able to pick up on it. Despite an apology, Penny felt it wasn’t enough. The Trueman clan also had their share of drama, as Lauren got suspicious of Oscar when bumping into Josh, advising him to open with his heart and not his legs. It was also the day that Josh and Sandra met Patrick and the rest of the family. Despite a rocky start linking to rum, Patrick and Josh soon came to an understanding one on one, which was a lovely moment to witness. But Avani shouting out loud what Amy told them got overheard by Tommy, who then reported it back to Zoe after Kat came back (surprised to see Jean being understanding of Zoe wanting to help Jasmine). It then got Zoe coming to the house, and I think it’s moments like this where you wouldn’t want to mess with a woman like Sandra. And Josh letting off some steam at the Albert soon turned into passion between him and Oscar, opening up about their past and getting romantic on the dance floor. And a new storyline for Zack is in the cards when Kathy gets him, Harvey and Ian to pay their share in Ross and Vicki's engagement package, and Barney kindly paying for tickets to an event happening, soon getting a notification about his money issue. Tuesdays episode saw Vinny inviting both Suki and Eve to the Branning house to have a family bonding session. At first it was abit awkward, but soon they all seemed to getting along, making jokes about baby names and other stuff. It seems that spent finally has suki’s approval. We also saw Honey break the news to Bea about moving out, which didn’t go down well with her, prompting Bea to kick everyone out and trash the place with rage. But it was sweet of Billy to comfort Honey when talking about the reality of going through the menopause. We also saw Josh and Oscar narrowly escape from their night of passion, with Cindy making her feelings on having random men round clear. It was quite entertaining to see Oscar rub in Peter’s face about his passionate encounter, and after Lauren berated him for not listening to his advice, she soon changed her tune when Oscar revealed he had listened to it. Zoe also managed to get the chance to speak to Josh, who managed to find a common ground and had respect for Sandra for looking after him. I get why he said no to seeing Jasmine, and when Kat rang Jasmine to reveal about Josh’s whereabouts, it all turned sour. Kat slowly had to break the news that Jasmine is now pleading guilty… Wednesdays episode saw the aftermath of Bea’s outburst, faking a story to Will that she was attacked, but kept him quiet. That wasn’t the only issue in the family, as whilst being concerned of Bea’s whereabouts, Honey had her doctors appointment, but was frustrated by not being believed about going into menopause. I could also get her frustration when Billy made a suggestion, knowing that she knew her own body, and Bea coming back resulted in Will being worried over her safety. Elsewhere, Vinny's kind gift got Gina second guessing, which then led to her and Harry making a comment about how he’s splashing the case. After Gina and Harry nearly got frisky on the couch, a chat between Penny and Vinny about gifts came, and I liked how he reacted when Penny voiced this, reminding him to save up for the baby. But I wonder how she’ll react when Vinny reveals about buying a building to help with her business? Barney meanwhile was furious at Zack for not telling him about the extreme lengths of his financial problems. But the biggest drama came with the Trueman clan, starting with Oscar blurting his music out loud, with Penny stopping it immediately. The Trueman's then came to the Vic for lunch, with Jean talking about past family and Patrick insisted he’s there for Josh. At first it seemed to go well, but it all kicked off when Kat revealed Jasmine refused to see her, then a lovely moment came when Sandra went to comfort Zoe, knowing that Jasmine had her issues when living with her. But a revelation from Josh trying to call Jasmine months ago caused an outburst from Patrick, sparking Josh and Sandra to leave. One person who wanted to get the truth out was Max, who confronted Cindy about the phone, reminding her of their pain of being separated from their kids, and Cindy revealing why she kept it, but for revenge and personal reasons. Her attempt to secretly sneak it in failed, and soon she was exposed by everyone for keeping the only evidence to prove jasmine’s innocence. Finally, Thursdays episode saw everyone confronting Cindy on why she kept the phone a secret, and her story to say it was lost property certainly didn’t give the game away. But with Oscar figuring out the passcode, he managed to find the video that proved Jasmine is not guilty. Josh was then talking to the truemans, who understood that Josh needed to find the truth about everything for his own sake. But Cindy was adamant that Jasmine still has evil in there after Max failed to back her up, and even Kat was wondering why Jasmine was even filming it. I could also feel the awkward tension when Josh revealed to Oscar that Jasmine was his sister, and soon he was dragged to seeing her in prison, still clearly having feelings for each other. I think this is the definite start of a love triangle, as despite agreeing to be friends, I think Oscar is thinking otherwise. Meanwhile Vicki could see Barney in distress, blaming himself for Zack getting evicted, and Vicki decided to take matters into her own hands. She simply offered a shoulder to cry on when Zack turns down her offer to help financially, and I just hope it doesn’t make anything awkward again. Following Vinnys announcement, Penny was still in shock with it all, insisting it’s too much. But after thinking of names, a chat with Harry (who gave out some surprisingly good advice), and Gina got her rethinking. And a successful chat about the next steps for adoption soon got Suki in protection mode when Vinny announced the business, accusing Penny of trapping him. But she soon made her regret and revealed she couldn’t help financially due to the adoption. It then led to a heartfelt chat where Vinny will go to the moon and back to help her, and with seeing penny’s names, she’s secretly still on board too. And Honey was still on edge after her doctors appointment, with Bea insisting she’ll make dinner, as a way to worm her way back in. That along with her booking Honey an appointment to see a specialist and Will announcing what she went through got her coming back to stay, and I know it’ll end up horrid.
Cooper & Fry:
This week I watched another brilliant episode of the channel 5 drama starring Rob James-Collier and Mandip Gill. This one started with Howling going on when a man’s dog was barking, with a teenager called Laura Kirkhan running for her life, and the man soon following his dog to see what’s going on. It also saw Diane waking up to the sound of the dog and checking about if she’s had any messages from “Dave”, soon blocking her doorway. It was then followed by a man called Lee getting a call from Gemma about a wedding. Soon afterwards we saw Ben and Isobel talking about his dad’s anniversary whilst Paul and Eland talk about Laura and the case, with Ben and Diane being tasked to interview the family. When they arrive, Ben was talking about Win Low state which, having Diane wondering why they want a house that big, and Ben also suspecting Diane when she gets another message from “Dave”. During the chat itself, Ben reassured Laura’s parents Dominic and charlotte that they will find her, talking about her passion of books and horses, revealing her relationship with Lee Bateman and wondering if she’s been abducted. Ben and Diane then reported it back to Tracy and seeing his criminal past, each being given their next tasks. For Ben, it involved meeting old school friend Helen (which was a call that came through), whilst Diane blocked the calls from Dave whilst on location. Helen mentioned about her uncle Harry Dickinson, soon talking about their life and occupations, with Harry finding Laura’s shoe and Ben reporting it back to Paul, with Harry wanting to go ahead to look for her despite Ben insisting on needing to wait for the search team. During the search, Harry was talking about Dominic and the woods, then about the tale of the Black Dog of Edendale, with Ben exploring and finding Laura dead. Paul and Diane were then coming to the crime scene, where he gave a telling off to ben for not following procedures. Dr Taylor then confirmed it and needed to get evidence of her death, noticing a single bite mark, with ben on a different duty and Diane going with Todd to find Lee. During this, Todd was asking her if ben invited her to an anniversary, only for Lee to escape. We also saw Charlotte and Dominic grieving for their daughter, with Diane coming back and Tracy finding a report on Laura’s phone with suspicious findings. Over at Lee’s house, we saw Todd interviewing Gemma (his fiancé), who claims she was there to make wedding plans, with Todd then asking about his relationship with Laura and the tattoos he claims to have of his ex’s. Diane also turned down an after work drink with ben, claiming she needs to relax when really it’s to protect her from “Dave” now calling under an unknown number. Whilst Ben spotted Gemma in the next steps of the case, he was then explaining to Diane if the Black Dog of Edendale caused it, with Laura being the first victim, and getting a text from Helen asking for a drink, encouraged by Diane to give if a go, whilst he pointed out the texts and offered his services it support. They were then wondering about his parents past if lees not coming back, sparking Ben and Diane going elsewhere to find him, breaking protocol and frustrating Diane. Despite this, Ben managed to find the hut, and Diane sensed that Ben is in danger, saving him and Lee getting arrested. The two were then getting a telling off from Paul and Todd again, with Paul giving Ben a proper talking to, ordering him to go home in order to stop him getting suspended. We then saw Diane and Todd interviewing Lee, who’s showing a cocky side to him, whilst Ben reflects on his father and the upcoming anniversary. Ben and Diane were then having a drink in the local pub, checking in on him and Ben having multiple theories on how Joe died, thinking he’s letting him down, with Diane telling him to take a step back and she accepted his invitation to celebrate. Soon enough Ben and Diane were then talking to Dominic about an update, also asking about Lee and wanting a plague stone, and a comment got a discussion happening about the plague stone, followed by meeting Harry again. The two then met Helen, with Harry not being here whilst talking about The Black Dog, with Helen then suggesting Duane spent a night alone in Ravens Side, with Ben reminding Diane of how the people in Edendale work. The two then got meeting Sam Beeley and then seeing Harry about Lee and the Kirkham's, and when asking Sam about it, he revealed he knew about Joe. They then went to the crime scene at the church ruins taking place with a team of forensics finding something, with the two seeing Tracey talking about the prop, finding the plague stone and Ben linking it To The Black Dog. Ben and Diane were then interviewing Lee again, seeing the evidence after Lee mentioned about Laura not being as innocent as she looks, and a comment about Gemma got Lee talking to reveal he had a fling with Laura’s mother Charlotte. It then got Ben and Diane seeing Charlotte about Lee, revealing that Lee was right in how she did have an affair with him due to wanting an escape, wondering if she blamed herself for her daughters death. The two were then wondering if Laura wanted more weed in exchange for keeping quiet about he afraid, only to find out he walked on bail, leaving them to tell the Kirkham's the news, infuriating Dominic and Lee getting ran over, killing him instantly. Ben was then reporting to Diane how it happened , with her explaining Dominic’s possible motives after the call, followed by Todd breaking the news then Gemma. The two were then finding Dominic, with Tracy revealing Dominic tracked her phone hence why she left it, soon getting it back to Charlotte about Lee and the tracker on Laura’s phone. Charlotte then revealed she was sent to a private school after having a dark streak, but it didn’t go to plan and having a secret phone. We then saw Dominic being arrested, soon getting interviewed and also asked about the tracking device and knowing that Charlotte had an affair with Lee. They then reported back to Paul about Dominic, impressing him whilst Ben goes to see Isobel. And “The so called emergency” was linking to cards about how Joe died, linking to money, and wanting him to get help and to send a message to Diane. At the local pub, Tracy came in to reveal a man was looking for Diane, making her feel uneasy and Ben working it out, offering her a spare room, politely turning it down soon locking the door and moving to the police station. The next day, a briefing was taking place whilst Diane was reflecting on last night and Ben sensing that something is not right. But that was pushed back to one side, as the two were visiting Sam and Harry again, who talked about a mining company and how Sam saved Harry’s life, showing an aggressive tone. It then got Diane wondering why Harry is so against Dominic, with Ben rescheduling the drink with Helen but asked her about the relationship between Dominic and Harry, soon revealing she gave Laura private lessons and how Dominic showed her off in front of his friends, telling him the consequences if she was to go to the police. They then got interviewing Dominic again, talking about how appearances mean everything, and Dominic revealing charlottes past and how he’s not Laura’s biological father. The two were then reporting it back to Paul and Todd, with Tracy revealing the forensics wasn’t a match on Dominic but could lead to Gemma. It then got Gemma getting interviewed, revealing why she ran over Lee, convinced he didn’t deserve a chance. Paul was also adamant about letting Dominic go, with Ben mentioning him assaulting Helen, hence why Harry has a hatred, but wanted to keep it private. Diane was also backing it up as it wouldn’t cause any proof, prompting her in suggesting an alternative which Paul was on board for. It the got Ben interviewing Gemma again about Harry Dickinson, soon going back to the house whilst Diane gets a call from the roadside killers, confirming the dog wasn’t Harry’s, and a picture of a dog got Diane realising Sam Beeley’s may be the one, whilst Ben was spying on them and Diane reporting it to Paul and Todd, giving the go ahead for the arrest. Diane managed to get to the location, only to be interrupted by Sam’s dog, whilst Ben still spying on Harry and Sam in the woods, and Diane being startled by the environment of Ravens side. She soon found Ben and reporting her findings on Sam, taking them to the church ruins. It was there where Ben and Diane flund Sam about to take his life, with Ben begging him to stop, knowing the parents want the truth, and Sam explained everything and how Laura was killed. The two then talked to Harry about why he didn’t turn Sam in, linking to his mental well-being, accepting his fate and why he took Ben to see Laura before the team, shocking Helen when Ben arrests Harry. It also resulted in Charlotte leaving Dominic, and despite not committing the crime, I don’t really blame her after his ways to “protect her”. Ben and Diane were then reflecting on the case and noticing the wreaths, reflecting in ravens side and Helen, wanting to take the offer of having the spare room. The episode ended with Joes anniversary taking place, with Isobel being grateful and giving her message about hurting someone, presumably linking to Dave and looking at a flower with the same message and Ben was wanting to stop looking at who killed Joe, possibly his way of moving on.
Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials:
This week I watched episode 2 of the show based on the novel by Agatha Christie called “Battle Commences”. Once again we were given a blast from the past , showing a man in the form of Dr Cyril Maputo making metal in Ronda in 1920, with him rushing with his sister to meet someone. They were soon being confronted with a gun, revealing who they were supposed to meet he dead, soon killing her and grieving for his sister. Back in 1925 in London, everyone was grieving for Ronnie, with Jimmy showing his condolences, and bundle asking if Gerry and Ronny’s death are linked to the Foreign office and asked him about 7 dials. Bundle was then asking about if he got in contact with Gerry’s sister Loraine, soon suggesting a meeting and Jimmy soon advising her to be careful, spotting the same man from the first episode, with both Jimmy wanting to find out and Bundle following him. This sent her on a wild goose chase but soon managed to find the man, in the form Superintendent Battle meeting Bundle. He then came to revealing he’s doing a case linking to Gerry’s death, and Bundle reminding him of the inquest being wrong. After Battle was repeating the deaths that left Bundle confused, she then came to discover that the news on Ronny’s death was not being in the newspaper, and then came to asking about seven dials, showing him the letter Gerry wrote, not wanting to share it for personal reasons. Battle was then warning Bundle to be careful and stay away from the case, refusing to listen to his words. Bundle was then seeing Bill for dinner and reflecting on the recent deaths, and revealed Ronny didn’t say anything about the infernal clocks The topic of the seven dials club then came into question, surprising him about now much she knows of him when trying to hide his lack of knowledge. Bill then revealed it’s a nightclub where people from the foreign office go to, wanting to go against Bills orders. It then resulted in Bundle and Bill going to the club to find former footman Alfred, revealing of a disagreement between him and Lady Catherham and checking to make sure she’s okay going in. Bundle was then surprised by how busy it was, with her and Bill dancing the night away and her spotting Alfred leave. It then got Bundle exploring a hidden part of the club, finding a table in the form of a clock and finding clocks on a mantle piece, similar to Gerry’s bedroom. She was then hiding after overhearing people in clothes and had clocks for masks, overhearing a mission from “7”. Bundle was then reporting it back to Jimmy, with one going to Wyvern Abbey to do the mission. It was soon interrupted when Gerry’s sister Loraine came to talk about her brothers death, talking about her past, showing a letter which Gerry reckons it’s no place for her. But a slip of the tongue from Jimmy got Bundle asking if it’s murder and resorted to a plan to stop it handling, and Jimmy requesting a weapon. Bundle was then seen ringing George Lomax who implores her to keep quiet whilst she makes out her mother wants to help. Bundle then found her mum hiding from an “intruder”, soon asking about Alfred but wanting to change the subject, asking if she wanted to isolate herself for the rest of her life since her fathers death, and soon offered to help. It then resulted in George coming that the prime minister wanted him to host a gathering and explains dr Matip’s steel process, and Bundle was quick into helping George with his hosting skills, and revealed a warning letter with Seven Dials signed. Despite this, Bundle was wanting to go ahead with the event and managed to get an invite. We then got transported to Wyvern Abbey, seeing Bundle meeting George and Jimmy, then meeting Oswald and Lady Coote, who talked about Scotland Yard and sending their best man in the form of Battle, with Oswald talking about being ambidextrous having a clue. Oswald was quick into sending his condolences and dr Cyril Matip soon came along (who was the same man from the past). Bundle was then reporting to Jimmy that Ronny was shot in the chest, asking if she’s found the identity for of Number 7, soon meeting Battle and questioning her motives, whilst Bundle spots how a pheasant was shot. Dinner was then taking place, with Cyril Matip talking about his life, family and his education in Germany and was forced to fight for Germany in the war. But he was clear on showing his gratitude to England but then talked about duplitous. Cyril was then showing metal creation in his clock and using a shot gun to test it, impressing the guests, which was the perfect time for George to end the night following the demonstration. But it wasn’t over for Bundle, as she and Jimmy were searching for the truth and stopped by Billy, but she was convinced that whoever killed Gerry and Ronny is in the building. She was then devising a plan despite Jimmy convincing her that she can’t be on the watch. After falling out of the window. Bundle bumped into Battle who orders her to go back to bed, refusing to answer about Scotland Yard, and going up to find Jimmy and Bill gone, but a commotion saw Jimmy injured.
We Might Regret This:
This week I watched Episode 3 of the second season of the show, where as a disabled person myself, it was actually quite thought provoking and showed challenges, particularly when it comes to the aftermath of marrying the person you love. The episode started with four having an intervention, with Jo apologising, which soon turned out to be a dream after Freya and Levi were getting frisky, and Jo seemingly touched Abe. Before she had her benefits assessment, “Ty” was cleansing the bliss of negative energy in preparation, with Abe using a food analogy to describe his disappointment, and Freya using extreme (and sexual) measures to apologise, stating that without Jo she’s lonely. Ty was them asking about the assessment, with Freya insisting it’s fine, but when Susan from the last series came to do it, it looked like it was a different story. Whilst that was happening, Levi was helping Jane with the book launch, asking about her interesting cover and the book of Abe, with Jane being offended and giving facts, that were linking to the family. Jane was also insisting on Levi inviting Jo to the book launch, despite the recent tension between the two. Back at the hose, Susan was assessing cooking situation, with Abe trying to take over after Freya was giving her piece, getting Abe to leave the room. At the book launch, Levi found Jo and making his feelings clear, with Jane interrupting and giving her a signed copy (despite wanting to pay for it), and setting Levi and Jo up with a task to hopefully break the ice. After a break, Freya was demonstrating about her dressing situation and getting into bed, which was then followed by Susan asking about Copulation, with a mobility task surprising even her. Back at the book shop, Levi and Jo could only get to the small talking stage, and Jo was unable to tell him how she feels. Back at home, Susan was asking some interesting questions, with Ty being kept on as a PA. But it was about to take a upsetting turn when Susan revealed the outcome of her funds if she were to marry Abe, soon telling a story of her love, which ended in a unwise way. Freya was then reporting it back to Jo, with Jo giving her side and Freya sensing her problem is about Levi. Freya was then insisting that Jo needs to talk to Levi and reveal the truth. And speaking of Levi, he was asking if Abe is okay with the book, and we then saw Jane reading a section, shocking Abe and Levi getting embarrassed (as it did link to a family secret, which I found quite funny). When Freya arrived, another section got her thinking, but soon things got out of hand after bumping into shelves with her wheelchair, soon wondering if what Jane said was right. After the reading Abe was asking why Jane told him, but she then came to revealing it was actually a fantasy, insisting it’s a hook recommended by her publisher. A very interesting hook indeed. We then saw Jo seeing Levi after the book launch, checking in on him and revealed in her own way how she feels, and Levi revealing in his own way, then revealing that she’s not good for him after the events of the last series. On the way home, Freya was giving Abe some advice didn’t go to plan, and then soon told him about what Susan said, followed by Levi turning down Jo when she tries to kiss him. Now even though Abe was insisting he’ll stand by her and figuring it out along the way, it led to Freya suggesting about selling the house, which didn’t go down well with him.
Punch:
This week I went to watch Punch, a play based on a true story, and after debuting at The Nottingham Playhouse 2 years ago, has gone on to have major success in the West End and Broadway. And after watching it, I can see why it’s hard to get a ticket. Emotional, thought provoking, and proof that if you take accountability, turning a negative into a positive will get you far in life! And I also had a lovely cake after the show as seen below which was delicious, catching up with friends in the process. Keep an eye out on my blog for an upcoming review of the show, and also a mini vlog of the day itself!
Personal:
Exercise:
This week my exercise drained abit due to the commitments I had. But none the less, whatever I did do, I did it with 100% in that moment. These included 2 gym sessions and a timing of 13mins 16secs when I got to 10k on the bike. So it was better than the alternative which was not doing anything at all. I also did plenty of yoga, one of which, was with my fiend Sophie on zoom. This was more of a meditative exercise, and it definitely got me relaxed after a both stressful and enjoyable week. All I know now is I need to go my game when it comes to exercise, and also cut down on the pastries. Not completely as they’re one of my safe foods and I’ll end up binge eating if I cut it out completely for so long.
Cooking:
This weeks meal was a delicious and classic ramen. I haven’t had this in ages, and with the weather being bad again, this was the perfect way to wake up, and wind down after a long day. It was also the perfect meal for self care, and with my Nans help, I practically did all of it myself. I was actually quite proud of myself for that!
Book:
This week I finished one of my books I got for Christmas as seen below. It was a brilliant read, and not as erotic as the previous books by Hannah Grace. But you know what? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Deception, knowing what you want, and a heartfelt romance that definitely reminded me of the festive season. There is a part of me that wants to read it again at Christmas, but we shall see…

Survey:
This week I managed to do my usual two days of surveys. For once I’ve actually managed to get up to date with them, and even updated my profile for one of them. I think my next big task now is to delete some old emails of survey notifications, as they may have expired now. But I’m very pleased with how I for once managed to get up to date.
Darts:
This weeks practices were once again two very different stories. I was unable to finish the first match due to loosing my patience, but managed to finish on double 10 despite 1 bust score and 4 missed match darts. I was also able to get a couple of 60s in, which was a really achievement for me! It’s safe to say that a good practice was well done indeed!
Premier League of Darts:
This week the tournament came to the German capital of Berlin. Because of the time difference I could only watch the last bit, but after catching up on socials I’m glad Josh Rock was able to get his first win, even if he doesn’t win anything else. I thought he would be done a Stephen Bunting and won the night, but boy was I wrong. The night saw Luke Littler win after having not one but two 170s in the final against Michael Van Gerwan, one of which was the winning dart. Now he’s at the top of the leaderboard, and I can’t wait for next weeks match to see where it goes!
Gladiators:
This week I watch the second semi-finals of the iconic gameshow. And the stakes have never been higher. But not before Legend made his usual appearance on the show. It was two different stories for both the male and female contenders, as “Everest”, the females pushed their opponents off, and the males were defeated. In “Collision”, Mark Clattenberg gave off some good responses to Josh, and Viper was somehow still annoyed even though he got a gladiator down. “The Wall” sad Emily being the only contender to get over the Wall. “Suspension Bridge” also saw Electro making taking out Millie look easy, Cyclone beating Emily, Viper getting disqualified and earning Shaun 4 points, and Josh getting taken down by Hammer, with abit of Hammer Time taking place! “Hang Tough” also saw the contenders in blue go down, but the contenders in red stay on, showing their skill and stamina throughout the game. And “The Eliminator” saw Emily and Josh make it through to the final, with Emily using her advantage head start, although Millie did do a good run, and Josh taking advantage of Shaun’s error (as he had a 4 second head start). All I can say is it’s going to be a brilliant final, and I really can’t call who the winner will be!

Britain’s Got Talent:
This week saw more brilliant auditions from Blackpool Winter Gardens. Key Voices started off the auditions with a bang, and Mizuki Shinagawa bought a new meaning to aerial silks. Arubai had a unique act which was confusing by funny, and science presenter Ted Hill had me chuckling, and as an autistic person, incorporating it into a comedy was always good to see, along with Ant and Dec’s Golden buzzer. An Acapella group really brought the house down, and dance group Mega Unity got KSI hooked. MC Tazo had KSI and Simon liking him, so much so that they gave Ant and Dec an option to vote, and magician Jake Banfield used a heartwarming way to link his family to his act. And Matty J ended the day on a high with his fantastic version of a Prince classic. I know Simon already had a golden buzzer, but it was more or less from the audience, as they were going mad for him!

Saturday Night Live UK:
This week I watched another episode of the iconic show based in America. This time it was with actor Jamie Dorman, and had a whole lot of new sketches. It opened with another political sketch, then other sketches included a scene where the mother was “pleased” about her son coming home, a song about going to a British pub and Irish one after Jamie made an appearance (where I didn’t even know he was Irish until then), and a brilliant take on the clocks going forward. The Weekend Update was once again brilliant, and a beans on toast “promo” had me chuckling. I also loved music from Wolf Alice, and there was an extreme take on faking something just so that someone will like you. But all in all, it was a really good episode to watch!

Gogglebox:
Once again the telly critics had more shenanigans in their home. Pete was telling Sophie about putting child locks on food cupboards, and Cheé and Andre were asking Sarah about her choice of cardigan. Jenny was telling Lee about she made her and Ray fish cakes, which didn’t go to plan, and Mary throwing Giles’ anoraks away was quite entertaining, even if it wasn’t shown on screen. Amira and Amani were talking about diets after Amira mentioned about a Keto diet (which I could never do), and Bassit was talking about nose waxing (which if my dad did it would be quite entertaining). And Ellie showing was Izzi her new eyebrow pencil, and Danielle and Daniella talking about their most recent day out. They also watched some of the most talked about stuff on the box set. “Britain’s Got Talent” seeing aqua company seeing the Goggleboxers getting flustered. “The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake-off” got the Celebs making 8 pastries, with Jon’s vegan cheese twists not going to plan. “Saturday Night Live UK” saw Tina Fey open the show featuring Nicola Coughlan and Graham Norton, and “BBC News” were talking about paying more for less with regards to Easter eggs, making me and the Goggleboxers furious. “Celebrity Sabotage” saw The Applicant taking place, confusing the Goggleboxers but soon making them laugh, and “Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen” definitely got me freaked out. Finally, “The Dog House” saw 8 month old Ozzy being left at the bound by his past owner due to personal reasons, but matched with young girl aurora, and “The Hunt: Prey vs predator” saw an extreme version of cat and mouse, with one contestant literally portraying

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
I think the main challenge this week was a technical error that happened when editing my videos together. Thankfully despite it happening quite late and leading to a lack of sleep, I managed to fix the problem. I was also weary on my upcoming posts, as there’s been a few I said to myself I would post on certain days, but didn’t. However I’m not going to let myself get mad at that, as because of my neurodivergent brain, it somehow stops me from doing the thing I was supposed to do. So I’m just going to embrace it and post it when I feel I have the mental capacity to!
What have I learnt this week? Two things. The first thing I’ve learnt is that sometimes free work can get you a long way (as when Actor Rob James-Collier helped TV Director Lewis Arnold when Lewis was a student, keeping that network led to Lewis giving Rob a straight offer on The Long Shadow). The second thing I’ve learnt is that through watching Punch, you can turn a negative into a positive. And Jacobs story really demonstrated it, and it also inspired me to look at my own script I made when it comes to making your own work!
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
