Filming Day, Round 2 in South Africa & Recovering From A Scary Setback!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week saw me filming a scene for a powerful short film, watching the show where famous celebrities return for round 2 in South Africa, and recovering from a “Racey Racey moment”. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 6th April 2026:

Professional:

Acting Job:

This week I did my first paid job of 2026, which was a section as part of a bigger project in Beeston. This was a lovely day, and yes I may have only one line, but my character was important to this moment in the film, and I got to meet some lovely people on the way (one of them being a member of The Actors Workshop Nottingham). All in all, despite the cast and crew getting tired and stuffy, it was a really good day, and I can’t wait to see the final product (which is hopefully soon).

Job Applications:

This week I applied for more acting jobs on Mandy, Spotlight and anywhere in between. Whilst I didn’t get to apply for some of them because of missing the deadline (which I’ll explain in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), I did spend a good amount of time applying and making sure I had all of the main criteria. So all in all, a productive week when it came to applying for jobs.

Autism Acceptance Week Content:

This week I posted the last 4 videos of my challenge for Autism Acceptance Week 2026. I didn’t expect to get so many likes, with two videos getting over 3k views on Instagram and also shared by two main stars of the show linking to the video! I definitely think that’s an achievement itself, and it’s moments like this where I feel like it’s all been worth it. Click the two links below to see those videos that got noticed by the stars, and also to my JustGiving page to make your donation before the end of April.

NYT StoryFest Script.

This week I got my script for StoryFest sent in after taking some time off it. I’ll be honest, due to the deadline I was quick in getting it in, so I was slightly worried about missing stuff from the criteria. But the important part is, I got it in. And fingers crossed this Will give the me the chance to develop it and make it into something special!

Acting Class:

This week was the first week of me being in person since last year. Because my original teacher wasn’t here, we had a substitute and he was really good. We only did three exercises (as the last one took longer than expected), but it’s moments like this where you just wanted to chill, let loose, and relax before moving onto the next topic. But all in all it was a really good session, and the perfect way for me to get back and settled into the in person classes.

Act On This Podcast:

This week I listened to an Act On This podcast after a few weeks off. This one was with Danny Miller aka Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale, and I got to see how he prepares for big storylines, a tour of some of the set when needing to find a charger, his directorial work on short film Broken Clouds, and gave some advice to Petch when it came to a sensitive topic. But overall, it was a brilliant session, and after my Racey Racey moment (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”) it was good to listen to someone who is not only doing amazing things alongside Emmerdale, but to also advocate your mental health in the industry.

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 5th and 6th aka Easter Sunday and bank holiday Monday. During these two episodes, we saw Debbie getting released from prison, with Kevin telling Gemma where she is, but soon got interrupted by Ronnie and blaming herself for losing her. But in fact Debbie was in the precinct, overhearing everything and made a joke to Carl about her dementia. He was then updating Ronnie, with Debbie wondering if her dementia symptoms are getting worse, and Carl came to explain why he swapped seats. Debbie then went onto revealing the reality of her dementia, calling her son and Carl revealing about money which sparked suspicions. And after Sean was reporting to Ryan getting on a wedding invitation from Carla and Lisa, and after asking about using a voucher, Debbie came back to the hotel, feeling excited about being released and wanting to get back to work. Ronnie then quizzed her on if she needs a breather, using a unique approach to look after herself, but was soon asking Ryan for Easter eggs for Brody, Joanie and Shanice as offered by Lou, whilst getting money out of the bank account under Carl's name. Understandably Summer was furious about Debbie, and confided it in Asha, and a comment from Abi got Summer distracted. But the cheek of Carl, who made out that he has texts from Fiona, overheard by Ronnie and insisting that working for 10k is the better way after Debbie explained the situation, where Ronnie was soon questioning it and contacted Fiona. Whilst Sean and Izzy were gossiping, Ryan questions Carl about his work ethic, reminding him of Carl being Debbie’s son. Summer was then discussing to Asha and Amy about the accident, whilst questioning Amy on her relationship with Ollie (which I’ll get into in a moment). Ryan and Carl were then arguing, and the subject on Ryan’s wages getting upped got Ronnie revealing how much Fiona really owes him, and his fleecing scheme being uncovered resulted in Debbie disowning him. There was one again more drama in the Driscoll family, as Ben was ignoring Susie, and soon mentioned Amy meeting Ollie which was overheard by Maggie. It then got Ben asking Maggie whilst Steve reflects on high school musical but soon having a dizzy spell, where Ben was convinced that it’s fine and he’ll check when he has his hospital appointment. But he soon asking Maggie about what she said again, and nearly calling his brother got Maggie revealing Alan wasn’t Ben’s father. Understandably he was horrified by this, with Maggie claiming she doesn’t remember the name and refusing to accept her apology and drowning his sorrows. But it looked like it was about to get more awkward, as Steve coming in to report them about Ollie and Amy got Maggie to come round and revealed that Amy and Ollie are cousins, revealing her relationship with Jim and Steve initially not believing it but soon realising he and Ben are brothers. This then got Steve and Amy reflecting on Maggie’s revelation, with Amy reminding him of Emma and how it’s been a blessing and Cassie humourlessly being curious which didn’t help Steve. This then got Ben searching for answers on the internet about a hereditary condition, questioning Maggie about why she didn’t say anything sooner. He soon took a trip to the Bistro, where Toyah was serving Ben, drowning his sorrows and Steve came in to try to apologise, but a comment from Toyah got him triggered and revealed of the heart condition, and soon scaring him off. And Eva was trying to see the positive side when he got an appointment, but it didn’t help lighten his mood. But that wasn’t the only thing the Driscolls have got on. Brian was checking in on Sam, but an argument between Leanne and Toyah on him getting help made things worse. Eva was then reminding Will about Maggie’s attitude, but Will was still taking Megan’s side, with Eva begging him to not turn back on his family, soon asking to apologise to Sam. Toyah was then updating Leanne on Megan, with Sam accepting Wills apology. This made Leanne proud of him, but was questioning if he was being genuine and so she convinced him to be mates with him, also apologising for the argument with Toyah and offered her services. But he was soon getting a call from Will on Leanne’s phone that says otherwise. This then got Hope thinking that Sam is obsessed with the storyline, covering it when Abi asked, with Hope telling him to chill out but failed when he sees Will. Elsewhere, after Ryan brought chocolate for the family and mentioned Debbie’s friendship with Lou, Sally was asking about Trisha after listening to a podcast about not bottling things up, with Tim setting up an Easter egg hunt as a distraction. After Brody found news of Will and Megan, Sally revealed Trisha has been working at freshcos. There was also a hidden agenda I feel on the horizon, as Jodie was finding David getting settled for his day off, talking about her dad and asking about the movie marathon, soon skipping work and joining him when he was surprised by not seeing it. They were then going into the Rovers when he got upset by the movie even though Jodie and Eva thought it was abit silly.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a villain on the run, a mother making a big decision following the start of treatment, and a possible romance on the cards. Mondays episode saw that Froggy was in fact dead, devastating Rex knowing that he stuck up for him when Ste was being distant. But when Ste himself finds out, I just hope he’ll support Rex and his exploration of his identity. Although after seeing the trailer, the return of James Nightingale may cause further complications. And Vicky and Charlie after going for a drive in his new car (which he passed first time) were right to be worried when suspecting it wasn’t an accident, as Clare turned up at Donny’s house, needing money. she then made a threat if he were to call the police, but he still revealed of what he did to Griff, surprising Misbah, and let Clare go for Dodgers safety. Donny then revealed what happened on that night, and while she doesn’t agree with how he handled it, I’m glad she understood how he felt after talking about Ali. Elsewhere, Sophie admitted that Sienna doesn’t love her anymore, but made it clear it wasn’t the case at all. And after Mercedes made a dog at Warren about Jenson, sienna got a call about Sophie, and despite Warren pleased she’s standing up for herself, the teacher reminded them of their no violence policy. It obviously angered Cleo after previously accusing Sophie, but they have bigger problems when Clare takes away both Tori and Joseph. Tuesdays episode saw the hunt for Clare still happening, with Sienna and Warren bringing Sophie along. But bless Tori, as I could see she was scared, so sending Sienna and Warren a tracking location to find them. Thankfully they managed to get to Clare on time, and soon a showdown commenced between the two mothers. Cleo was also on edge, and made her feelings about Clare clear. But despite Dodgers warnings after mentioning their location, Cleo ignored it to find Sienna, with Mercedes not stopping her after being asked if she would do the same for Bobby. Sophie soon followed suit, and after a comment about Ethan, Sienna pushed Clare to her death (or at least I think that’s what happened). The question is though, what now? But let’s just say Clare had more of a negative impact on some of the residents. Vicky was wallowing following her return, and confided in Charlie about how everyone has got big things coming up, whereas she hasn’t. But with the upcoming devastating events to happen, there will be two options that will change her outlook on life, but I just hope it isn’t one where it was of a similar fate as Peri. Meanwhile, Diane was having her first chemotherapy session, with the aim to help her get more time with her family. Whilst putting on a brave face, she admitted to Nancy that she was scared, and enlisted her help to find someone to help tony with her children. And it looks like Tony needs the help as well, as he thought he was joking about the children burning dinner whilst making an Easter roast. And him lashing out at them wasn’t intentional, but a sign to say he’s struggling more than he thought. And Wednesdays episode saw sienna, Warren and Cleo be interviewed on what happened with Clare. Misbah was right to tell Donny not be bother Cleo after she told him about her theories, knowing she’s not well as it is, and if Dodger tells him to stay off the case knowing he’s not in the force, it kind of always it all. But Warren was grilling sienna on it she pushed Clare, I think it was wrong of Sienna to push the blame on Sophie and raise Warrens insecurities of her upbringing. I was abit confused as to why Sienna suddenly used Cleo not taking her medication when she came to bring them over as a reason why she pushed Clare, but I definitely think that’s gaslighting at it’s finest. I don’t know how the truth will come out, but something tells me it won’t end well. We also saw Ant and Ro open up to Diane about Tony’s reaction when making the Easter roast dinner, with Diane adamant she wants to keep ploughing on, for the sake of her family. Nancy also came round to ask if it was a good idea, and soon sparked further concern after Diane set up a dating app for Tony following an article she read about a woman who also had terminal cancer doing the same thing. But that along with Theresa having a go at Kathleen-Angel and Ant (who was literally just comforting him), soon revealing they slept together, we’re not the biggest things to worry about, as Diane took a funny turn and was rushed to hospital due to a reaction of the chemotherapy. After a long talk with Misbah, who's also heartbroken about this situation, Diane made the decision to stop the treatment. I’m just looking forward to see how Alex Fletcher, Nick Pickard and the rest of the Hutchinson family navigate this next stage of having a family member with terminal cancer. There may also be romance in the card as well, as Frankie gave Vicky a new dress as a going away present, which caught the attention of Charlie. He reassured her she didn’t need weight loss jabs after noticing her weight, and sparks were flying between the pair, which pleased Frankie, knowing that the two of them will be okay whilst she’s gone. But with spoilers next week, I have a feeling it won’t last long…

Eastenders:

This week saw a court trial taking place, two campaigns, and two residents confessing their love for each other. Mondays episode saw Nicola still in hospital following the birth of ivy, and panic soon set in when an alarm went off. But the nurse reassured George that it’s something that’s common in premature babies, and was offered the chance to have skin on skin contact. As Nicola couldn’t because of a virus she caught, Gina had the idea to use FaceTime to see George hold her. But already frustrated about not seeing the baby, she soon turned sour once again, blaming George for this to happen. And after showing Honey and Chelsea the picture, it was Chelsea who came into Knight Fusion to check in with how George is really feeling, where he opened up about what could’ve been. This then led to Chelsea talking about her own experience with Jordan, reminding him that Nicola is feeling much worse. And she was right when Nicola tried to see ivy despite her pain. It was then she let out her frustration on George. Elsewhere, Oscar got suspicious of Penny after she checked in on Harry, and Gina pointed about about Harry not being anywhere near his mums painkillers after she got some from the chemist. I do wonder if it made Penny reconsider the DNA test? Especially since Oscar said he can make one up? But that’s not the only thing Oscar is involved in. Josh made the decision to Kat and Zoe about seeing Jasmine before the trial, which Kim clearly disliked. But the rest of the Trueman family supported Josh, knowing that it was his decision at the end of the day. It was a tense visit to say the least, with Jasmine pinning the blame on Josh for apparently leaving her and talking about their childhood. But it was enough for Josh to believe that Jasmine really was scared, but after being grilled by Kim, Kat was also having her doubts about the video after Ritchie revealed the video was inconclusive, and therefore needing to rely on witness statements. Despite Alfie reminding her she’ll lose Zoe and Jasmine because of it; I wonder what she’ll do? Zack was also on a mission after Vicki wakes in on him in just a towel (making her abit flustered), where they decided to form a plan to work on martins shed. Barney was convinced it was a good idea and pointed out Zack’s feelings for Vicki, and Ross and Harvey’s plan to get the keys from Jean were nearly rumbled. But Zack stepping in thanks to barneys advice on why it would be a good idea got her to reconsider. But I can only imagine the guilt he’s feeling when Ross said that Zack is a good friend, little does he know what he and Vicki got up to… Tuesdays episode saw the day of jasmines trial, with Kat wondering about whether to go with her gut after her doubts in the previous episode. But it was nice of Tommy to support her through this time. And after Kim still made her thoughts about Jasmine clear, Josh and Sandra revealed that they are officially moving to Southend. And Kat noticing her not getting in the car with the rest of the Trueman’s got her wondering, which resulted in a accident that led to her husband Keith dying. It was then when she spoke of jasmines possible true nature reminding Kat to go with her gut if something isn’t right. During the session itself, Patrick gave his video statement and made his feelings on her clear, whilst Zoe faced a tough grilling from the prosecution. But when it came to Kats turn, she soon couldn’t hide her gut instincts anymore, and something tells me it’s not going to go down well with Zoe. Elsewhere, Nicola was able to hold baby Ivy after getting results of her test. It was then that George revealed his feelings for her, which was probably not the best time to do (and I know they say there’s never a good time, but being in a position where a premature baby is fighting for her life isn’t helping). And a visit from Harry, Gina and Barney resulted in both George and Nicola separating, with Harry giving her some advice he learnt in rehab, whilst Gina grilled George for the timing to tell Nicola, giving her advice on how to go about it when he gets a text from her. It was then when Nicola explained about her history of men, and wanted to focus on Ivy. I think she was right to do so as well, as after lauren revealed how secrets and addiction don’t help, Penny offering to help Harry whilst Nicola is recovering resulted in her ringing Oscar about the fake DNA, which I know will cause more drama. And Mark was once again grilling Vicki on her feelings for Zack, with Ross getting suspicious when she hides a text from him (which was actually Mark). Whilst working on martins shed, Ian, Harvey, Billy and Howie talking about Vicki didn’t help, particularly Ian’s comments didn’t help. It was then that Billy gave him advice linking to his and Honey’s marriage, giving him food for thought. A guilty Zack (who was there with them), then reported it to Vicki when he and Barney came round to show pictures of baby Ivy, but it may have to be put on the back burner for now, as Ross got a call about Joel and his plea hearing. Wednesdays episode saw the aftermath of the first part of the trial, with Zoe clearly showing her hate towards Kat following the statement she gave. Ritchie then gave Jasmine an option to plead guilty for a shorter sentence, and she soon ended up getting a visitor in Kat. When Kat revealed why she said what she said in court, Jasmine was convinced that Sandra was filming her head with lies. But a chat with her was enough for Jasmine not to keep her not guilty plea, giving out her backstory (which could explain why she behaves in a certain manner) and the night in question. All I can say is well done for facing a tough grilling from the prosecution. But there’s a part of me that wonders if her lashing out in her cell was a build up of everything that happened or if it was deliberate? And in the Vic, Kim clearly still showed her dislike, but the rest of the Truemans wonder if what Jasmine said was true. They didn’t have to wait long though, as after Mo told an interesting but funny story, Zoe got a text to say that the verdict was in. Elsewhere, Gina reminded Nicola that George was equally worried about Ivy, and that she shouldn’t shut him out. I’m just glad Nicola is proud for Harry to have a girlfriend in Gina, but also showed her concern when Gina mentioned that Penny was helping out harry at the bar. But thankfully she managed to believe the fake DNA test. The question is, how long for? Meanwhile, the campaign for Elaine and Ian was on, and their clean sweep didn’t last very long. I can only imagine Elaine and Honeys shock when Bea finds Ian attractive, and whilst he has no one at his campaign, he was also quite pleased when Bea came round, with Peter teasing him about it. And Ross came back from Joel’s plea hearing, where a 6 month stint in young offenders was the result. It then got the couple wondering what will happen afterwards, with Vicki adamant they will work it out together. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Jasmine receive a Not Guilty plea, sparking fury with Kim but brilliant for the Slaters. Denise was convinced that it was the closure, and soon a trip to the Vic turned awkward when they bump into the Slaters. It then resulted in Kat reminding the punters that everyone has made mistakes and made it clear that they can leave if they choose to. I also loved how Yolande was so kind for Jasmine, and despite Patrick taking it in, she recalled how her faith has reminded her to show forgiveness. It then led to a conversation with Josh and Jasmine, where revealing what really happened during that day Keith died finally released all of that pent up anger she has. Sandra could see that Josh wanted to stay, and was thrilled when she announced he could. It then came to a final showdown between her and Jasmine, where they finally talked about the past, and it looked as though Sandra was relieved to have Jasmine out of her life. I just hope her new home with Kat and the Slaters will give her the fresh start she needs. Elsewhere, the campaigns were taking place, with Ian saying a controversial comment about women when being asked about Cindy made things awkward, and Callum was right to remind Johnny to make things right with Linda. And it looked like the two were going head to head, as one candidate dropped out. But I wonder if Bea asking out Ian was genuine or because he’s got a lot of money?!?! Hmmm… and there was still tension between Ross and Vicki, as despite her saying she’ll be there for Ross when Joel gets released, adamant that he can come home as a last resort (despite Zack reminding her of what he did), a comment about Vicki’s cheating got the two of them on edge again. But it soon blew over when Ross admit he didn’t like the moment they were having. And Nicola and George went on a bonding experience to take Howe out somewhere. Adamant she didn’t like it, George took her to see Julie and George, showing them pictures of Ivy and Nigel mistaking Nicola for Sharon stone (which I know was the dementia talking). They then went to see baby Ivy, Nicola opened up about her insecurities when it came to men, and George promised he won’t let her down. For Ivy’s sake.

XO, Kitty:

After seeing many clips on social media, I finally started the third season of the show based of the franchise “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”, starting with “Episode 1: Guest List”. This picked up where we left off from season 2, but Kitty’s happiness was soon cut short when Minho was asking about the whole summer, then interrupted by Eunice who invited her onto a yacht. and Minho reminding her of a dress code. Kitty was then reporting back to Q of what she did and her plan to tell Minho how she feels, although expressed her fears of ruining the relationship, inviting him and Jin to the party as her wingmen, and following the last season, we saw Yuri trying to hide her financial problems, going to Busan when getting constant texts from her mother. Jin understandably was expressing his upset, but Q reassured him everything will be fine, and ending up inviting Dae, who reports about Yuri going. In the car Eunice’s excitement about her winning tour was clearly annoying Kitty and Minho, with a suggestion of cable cards as the perfect way to distraction (and a perfect opportunity to tell Minho how she feels), soon finding out about everyone else coming. Q was also promising Kitty when the whole group was going to help her in her mission. Everyone was then exploring the city, with Yuri being annoyed at Dae, and Kitty and Minho struggling to find alone time. But trip on the cable cars thanks to Q’s distraction was the perfect time, but Kitty trying to tell him got interrupted by his dad, who wanted him to be Eunices manager. Later on, Joon ho coming on the tour with Kitty coming in to give Minho advice on how to handle the nerves. And Dae and Q spotted a famous superstar, and Jin making a comment on him and Eunice got Dae a little bit jealous. Yuri also found Julianna and Praveena as  Madison invited them, and exaggerated on her summer plans, whilst Kitty overhearing Minho with some girls got her jealous and being mistaken for a waitress. Yuri was one of those people, who worked out that she likes Minho and expressed her fears. Being the good feign she is, Yuri recommended a dress to help her get changed in a dress to impress Minho. This was then followed by getting a text from her mum, and nearly getting caught. After Joon ho performed, Minhos announcement was distracted by Yuri’s news, but Kitty coming in helped. It then resulted Eunice not coming out, where she realises that the dress Yuri picked out was hers, and walks off embarrassed. Kitty then found Yuri, talking about the incident, and both confiding in their problems. Yuri then explained why she didn’t say anything, and Kitty reassured her that Dae is still her friend. It was then that Kitty suggested an alternative to solve both of their problems, but an apology to mr moon didn’t go down well, claiming she’s a distraction. Minho was then looking for Kitty, whilst Eunice is complimented by Dae, and managed to clear the air with Yuri. After Kitty was messaging Q, wondering if Mr Moon was right, she soon getting a call from LJ. Minho eventually found Kitty, finally revealing her feelings and declined going on tour with him due to family issues, but sealed their feelings with a kiss. Kitty was letting Minho go with Eunice and her friends (as by his fathers orders), with Kitty secretly scared of what will happen in 3 months after a post comes through. “Episode 2: Sunset List”, took place 3 months later, where Kitty was back in New York with her sister Lara Jean, taking photos to make out she’s having fun for the pst three months. She was then confiding in LJ about Minho, wanting to make him jealous and helping her with Peter. She also took a liking to her novel and she gave her a tip to help her with her NYU application, with LJ proud of her for this new experience and also reminding her to letting her discover herself. We then saw LJ giving Kitty a journal as a present before they go. Back at KISS, Kitty was talking about her Sunset list to Jiwon, who’s a teacher and her RA, with Kitty giving her advice on her first day as a teacher. We then saw Kitty meeting Minho, interrupted by ex classmate Marius and Kitty meeting him, immediately not taking a liking to him. And her plan to ask about the relationship status between her and Min ho got getting interrupted by professor Lee, who revealed she was behind on her work in order to graduate, one of which was a Korean elective. We then saw Minho talking about Kitty to Marius, only to be interrupted by Dae and Q (who had a fling with Marius in the past), who revealed he’s part of a athletic coach. It was clear as well that Q was wanting to room go with Dae, and Marius was asking what to do in which Kitty suggested a sunrise, with Marius having other ideas, infuriating her. Kitty was also wanting to invite everyone to the sunset, with Q revealing his past with Marius, not telling Jin, but the two of them agreed on standing their grounds. But Kitty was also shocked to find out Yuri wouldn’t be coming back to senior year due to her financial problems, and a solution got Yuri refusing to take part, but an idea of the party got her reconsidering. We also saw Q standing his ground, which Marius picked up on but made his feelings clear, scuppering his plans. Min ho managed to find Kitty and helped her with Yuri’s clothes, who commented on her Instagram post and vice versa, soon revealing her problem with a Korean Elective to pick, which Minho taking one in media to recommend it. The senior lounge party was then taking place, with Julianna and Praveena finding Kitty and Yuri selling clothes, with Madison wanting some and confiding in Dae. Marius was then persuading Min ho to have shots, who gave in and infuriating Kitty, and finding out Q didn’t do it, encouraged by Kitty to keep going. Soon Kitty was making a bet in beer pong, whilst Q told Jin the truth, who was understanding. The beer pong match was then taking place taking place, with Yuri was a still short of money, eventually giving Madison her shoes which sparked concern by Dae. Sadly, Kitty lost the game which was interrupted by Jiwon, who wants to report her about the party, but letting her off just this once. After everyone cleared off, with Kitty opened up to Min ho about their relationship and her year she wanted. And if that couldn’t get any worse, Kitty realised she needed to complete registration, only to find Korean Lit available. But it looks like her luck may have changed. -: Kitty got a text from Yuri, who found everyone in the roof which was organised by Min ho. Yuri also revealed in getting back into KISS thanks to Kitty’s plan, making Julianna and Praveena uneasy. We also saw a kind gesture from Dae, wh giving Yuri her boots back from Madison, and Q finally asked Marius to switch, revealing he told Jin everything, but pointed out a photo he kept hidden, which only resulted in Q realising Kitty was right about him. Min ho then revealed he organised it out of care and wanted to start over. He also revealed didn’t get with anyone else during the summer, and Beau they did she, with a cinematic kiss being checked off the list, and everyone celebrating it. I just can’t wait to see how the rest of the series goes after Marius makes a call to get revenge on Min ho and Kitty.

Siren's Kiss:

This week I started a new KDrama in the form of Siren’s Kiss. Because the series is 12 episodes in total, and I’m planning to watch all of them in 3 weeks, I’ll just sum up in just a few sentences what I feel about each episode. Episode 1 saw fraud inspector Cha Woo-seok introducing himself and catching a fraud which made the news, and after seeing a first glimpse of Han Seol-ah, Woo Seok was to see Chae-rin who he met a year ago. We also got a glimpse of how Seol-ah was good at her job, cutting Kim Yun-Ji’s painting, revealing it was a fraud. We then saw a flashback of Woo-Seok’s sister Choo-wee dying, thinking it was an accident when he knew maybe it wasn’t, stopping at a place called Hyun-su’s fruit, where the owner was the beneficiary and was arrested a year ago, which probably explains why he got into this job. We then saw Seol-ah setting up and then running the auction, with the painting  being sold for 5.3 million won. It wandrjennwen Paek jun-beom met Seol-ah, and then met Kim Yun-ji. It was then all hands on deck when the murder of Yun-Ji taking place (which was done by someone she met) after she made a call to Woo-seok, and his colleague Ggong Eun-geyom revealed this, who got a telling off from boss Seong-il and reminding her of Woo-Seoks sister. We then saw Woo-seok going back to royal auction for clues and meeting Seol-ah through one way glass. Seol-ah was also meeting with one of the people from the company (who was at the auction), and then and getting interviewed by Ggong Ju-yeong and Pyo Seong-il whilst Woo-seek examined the place. Ju-yeong then that revealed Yun-ji had depression whilst showing Woo-seok a picture of Seol-ah, who he came across at the funeral Parker. And after some discoveries, Woo-Seok confronts Seol-ah and revealed her reasons of the person who died being her fiancé, and Ggong getting a random message. Highlights of episode 2 has a blast from the past, as Yoon Seung-Jae was in an accident that Seol-ah received the news. We then went back to where we left off from, interrupted by Jun-beom, and Seol-ah mentioned his link with Yun-ji. We were then going back to the past again, where Eun-huyk is speaking to Seung-Jae whilst Eun-hye calls him in the present. Colleague Sang-mi was then asking Seol-ah a question on some stuff from Yun-ji, whilst Woo-seok creates a unique way to find the fraudster and visits yun-Ji’s family. Seol-ah was then bringing Yun-ji’s stuff whilst she and Woo-seok look in her room, who ordered him to leave. It then saw Yun-Ji’s mum talking about her past, linking to a man. Whilst Ju-yeong was giving Seong-il a report whilst Woo-seok doubled crossed a gang in Cheogeun, who were let of an insurance ring. Later on, Woo-seok was being shown CCTV footage which had Seol-ah, bringing in a moment from her past. Chair Kim then invited her for dinner whilst talking about Yun-ji, and Woo-seok was visiting a restaurant to reveal that Yun-ji was visiting Seung-Jae. Seong-il the. followed him to the crime scene of Seung-jae, followed by woo-seok having a flashback of his sister. He then met Seol-ah, who informed her of Yun-Jj and Seung-Jae, claiming she’s the wrong person to question, and a flashback sees the two of them together. He was then reporting his findings to Ju-yeong, and how he’s unsure if Seol-ah committed the crime. Eun-hye then convinced Eun-hyuk that Seol-ah is using him, whilst Woo-seok visiting Chae-rin, who told her to tell the truth, and reporting to his colleague about social services. But he was soon getting another case linking to Seol-ah, with one of his colleagues using a Basic instinct analogy to describe the situation. It then took him to visiting a mental hospital, soon spotting worker Kim Mi-yeong, who over food told him about her and Dr Choi Young-ho, revealing he was with someone beforehand Seol-ah, who got asked by Eun-hyuk about her previous love, brushing it off. Woo-seok was then looking at a terroist attack in Syria followed by Soel-ah seeing a painting that reminded of the day. He was then visiting her and revealed his theories on why her previous lovers died, stating that those who come across Seol-ah will end up dead. Episode 3 picked up where we left off from, with Woo-seok talking about Lee Su-ho and her lovers, who at first made a threat, but her soon made it clear they’ll meet again. And during his run, he found the shop being closed and a question from a stranger got him wondering. Soon enough, everyone was looking at Seol-ah’s video, which she caught, and Woo-seok noticed the checkout time linking to Yun-ji’s death. At the same time, Seol-ah was asking a colleague about the texts with Chair Kim setting the two of them a task to find a painting that was auctioned in Hong Kong, with Seol-ah deleting the files from Jaeng-uk, with chair Kim going into her vault of paintings. Soon, Seong-il was talking to Ju-yeong and Eun-gyeom about the death, revealing they got someone who wasn’t a murderer. It then resulted in Ju-yeong getting a tip from Woo-seok about the other victims, and went on a mission in finding the tip caller. At first, asking for the CCTV footage didn’t go to plan, but using his charm, he managed  smooth talk the shop owner into giving him the memory card footage, and Ju-yeong finding the footage. After Seol-ah was on FaceTime with an American auctioneer, a gift she got landed her in danger and panicking. Woo-seok was then reporting his findings and asked for a general business card, whilst Seol-ah getting the name of the curiour company, which was the one they used. She was then suspecting Eun-hyuk of giving her the wine and grilled him about his intentions, with Eun-hye revealing it was her, convinced she’s hiding something, and a flashback revealed Seung-jae told Eun-hyuk to give Seol-ah the wine, revealing he doesn’t trust her. To her shock as well, Woo-seok was announced as being the new account manager (with one of her colleagues being clearly happy with it). She then took him through the security measures, and he was quick in mentioning the video and asked about Kim Yun-Ji’s confession, whilst she asked about his intentions, pointing out the scecutiy cameras. He was then searching in Yun-Jis car for clues, only to find a tag from “Luen Palace”, and going to the team dinner, where he doesn’t want to make the same mistakes with Chae-rin and his sister after one of his colleagues got promoted. Meanwhile, Seol-ah was meeting a woman about the Stiller painting, and mentioned the name James Peak (his English name), whilst finding an article with Paek Jung-beom, returning to Royal Auction. It was then seeing a painting that reminded him of the past, and over dinner, they were talking about Diaochan that resembles tofu, soon asking about the Stiller painting, eventually coming to a deal. The police teak looking through the footage, with Eun-gyeom finding some evidence and Woo-seok soon took matters into his own hands by visiting the gang he scared off earlier to go and find Luen Palace and eventually found it. We then saw Do Eun-hye being interviewed after revealed she was the tip caller from the footage, and was Woo-seok going into Luen Palace, exploring the room that matched the key with Seol-ah in the bathroom at her flat. The two spotted each other, with Eun-hye revealing she killed Yun-Ji. Finally, Episode 4 saw a flashback of Yun-ji coming to the flat, shortly followed by pickign up where we left off from, where he found a phone in the doll house. Eun-hye was also still being interviewed and revealed she didn’t give her identity in fear of being caught and denied recording the video. Another auction was then taking place, with Woo-seok asking about the policy and Seung-jae. During this there was a a flashback, seeing chair Kim talking to one of the bidders, persuading him to win the bidding at all costs, which she picked up on and Seol-ah getting arrested. After that dramatic moment, Woo-seok was noticing Eun-Hyuk and eun-hye arguing, soon getting a call about the voice recordings. Seol-ah was then being interviewed, Woo-seok paid a visist to see Eun-hyuk. During this, the video was being shown and she then revealed the truth of what really happened on the night of Yun-Ji’s death. Peak jun-beom was reading the statement of the news, whilst Eun-hyuk came to try and get Eun-hye to drop the charges whilst Ju-yeong and Woo-seok looked at the conversation but being caught by Seol-il. After meeting Seo-yoon briefly, he managed to find Eun-hyuk, and confronts him about the hard drive and revealed how he got the video. The police team were then being sent a video from them that matches the time of Yun-ji death, confirming it as a suicide and leave it there and asked if she would ever commit suicide. It then resulted in Seol-ah coming back to the auctioneer place, shocking Eun-hye. Woo-seok was also losing his temper whilst Seol-ah visits chair Kim. Woo-Seok was then visiting a football match asking about the Audio files and soon asking about Ju Hyun-su. He was then soon listening to the audio files, wondering if Yun-ji was the girl Dr Choi dumped. We also saw Seol-ah visiting a doctor who advised her to go a mental clinic, but a flashback for her adamant she doesn’t want to go. Woo-seok then met the same woman from the mental health unit to ask about Yun-ji and a flashback revealed she wasn’t over him. Seol-ah soon met the winner bidder about the bidding, soon reporting back to Chair Kim Seon-ae. Woo-seok also confronted her to reveal that Yun-ji stalked her because of Dr Choi, but was soon rushed to hospital because of her tranquillisers. Posing as her guardian, he was clearly concerned when she discharged herself gone m. It turns out she was a place where a painting brought back memories of a fire, interrupted by Sang-mi as Jun-beom visited her, making it clear on not to mix business with pleasure which he didn’t like. Another recording saw seol-ah confiding in Hwang Sook-ji about business followed by a visit to see Eun-Hyuk to ask him about her trust, and revealed her past and Eun-hye alarming suspicion. Ju-yeong was then asking Woo-seok about his intentions for the case, which brought back memories of his sister and if history is repeating itself. The two of them then went to visit Seung-jae’s memorial, with him spotting the woman grieving and her talking to his brother, with a flashback seeing him and Yun-ji arguing about it and Woo-seok coming to her aid in the present. It then ended with him meeting her after throwing her ring away, asking her about her bad luck and saving her from suicide herself.

Boarders.

This week I watched the new series of the show following the scholarship students making their mark. It all started with thieves dressed in pigs masks trashing the place whilst Stanley was on the toilet (typical Stanley). We also saw Leah studying for her university application, with the boys coming in to show her why first first period is cancelled claiming it was an inside job. The assembly was then taking place, where head bear mistress Carol announced a lockdown which scuppers Toby’s plans and Leah gets paranoid on being the target, whilst Jaheim revealed he turned down the scholarship in America. Mabel was also apparently convinced that Leah needs to calm down when studying, whilst wondering if she was pregnant. Leah then got into revealing her night with Xiang, with Devonye convinced as well she’s pregnant and pointed out the texts. We then saw Toby and Leah flirting on the phone, getting flowers from him (although hiding it from her classmate), and Yelena catching him out his plan to see her, also wanting revenge in Caldwell college and wanting to get involved. But Xiang found out that Jaheim is actually going to the US, but was wanting to keep it quiet, with Xiang wanting his help with Leah. Jaheim’s next mission was showing Leah (who researched period stress), to get recommended an ARP, wondering if she’s okay doing it. There was also a new story for Femi, as a supply teacher coming in and it got him working with a new student, but was soon getting kissed by her as a way of learning, shocking everyone. Later on Leah was wanting to ask Carol about the ARP, reminding her of the important term and soon getting panicked. Outside of school, Carol was meeting Alfie, her ex husband and the father of Felix, with Rupert being away and convinced  her to get someone to take over as head, with Felix feeling the same, wanting to join Alfie in Hong Kong, letting her know how he really feels. But she was adamant that he wasn’t going anywhere, upsetting him further. Back at the school, Femi’s posh friends talking about the class, convinced it was part of a scene and a anted to focus on his drama school audition with another friend giving him decent advice. Omar also got a visit from Jonny, where a study session and a ring exchange got intimate. The Boarders were then teasing Omar about Jonny, revealing his plans for university and asked if he likes him, wanting to to check in on him after not going to art school. We also saw Femi meeting the girl, who read it despite his instructions and wanted to meet up with him, who turns out to be cheddars sister Pixie. Oh dear… Xiang cease also wondering if Leah was avoiding him, who made his boundaries clear if he is or not. Jaheim was then catching Toby planning go meet Abby, teasing him about it, and revealing she didn’t get into Cambridge. Jaheim then mentioned about how change is important, still feeling guilty about not telling the full truth. Femi failed to meet Pixie after the bird before hoes mishap, where Cheddar was wanting to have guy time with him, who didn’t know Femi’s lady friend is his sister. But Femi has other things in his mind when getting Omar's book from the bin, whilst Toby making his escape to see Abby, with Yelena, Florence and Bea getting ready for their plan but caught by Stanley. Femi was then confronting Omar about his sketch book and recalling his experience of not fitting in with pretending to be someone he’s not, and asking if it’s because of Jonny, but was soon claiming he didn’t get into art school. Pretty soon though, Pixie was coming to see Femi, and revealed about being worried about Cheddar, but soon she revealed she likes him. We also saw Toby and Abby spending the night together, reporting about the break in. And after Xiang found Jaheim, Leah came to see Carol who revealed that she figured out Leah wasn’t responsible, wanting to go ahead with the ARP and being forced to work with Felix (who was also not keen on the idea). The plan to confront Jaheim about the ARP led to her, Femi and Omar finding him gone. Toby was also in a dilemma after finding the pig mask, as it was revealed that Abby was responsible for the break in. Episode 2 saw the gang FaceTiming Jaheim from the US, who are pleased for him. We also saw Florence and Felix giving a speech in assembly about being given a mentor and the next hockey match, who revealed the school Severatone did the break in.  The gang questioning Toby whilst Florence was wondering if Abby was involved, and Toby calling Abby to update her. Yelena was quick in standing her ground, interrupted by Teacher Mackers who stopped it and being denied by Carol to call the police. The gang were then preparing the projects whilst Leah was honest about her plans when Felix asks about the ARP, with Femi pointing it out, whilst she was hoping to get paired for her ideal partner who will help her. But it didn’t go to plan as she was getting paired with a different person, only to find Felix with her ideal mentor, with Carol convinced it was a good idea. Despite thinking Toby was not concentrating, he then gave his views to show he knew more than he made out, showing Steve Michael (his mentor) his skills. Bea, Florence and Yelena were also watching the video and interrupted by a call from Abby, with Toby finding her and her intentions and her friendships, with Toby reminding her of how busy final term is after she mentions that she hadn’t heard anything from her friends. But I can only imagine his surprise when he heard about her plans for travelling. We also saw Femi working on his plans, and being concerned when Pixie came in who made it clear about not keeping secrets. Nearly caught out, Cheddar was suggesting Nicolas Cage and showing his plan. Leah was soon reconsidering her offer with Felix and why it is, who then reveals about not going to Cambridge. After Omar was looking at his plan that clearly wasn’t making him happy, Devonye came in to ask for help with her art project who eventually let her use his artwork he threw away. Femi was also wanting to help Omar with other art school applications, but had little success. But it’s the start of a time where Femi may need to take his own advice as he met his mentor Mr Pinny woodell, who told him the hard work of the industry and recommended to recreate the plan as an “actors plan”. Elsewhere, Omar was trying to convince Jonny the session was good whilst she got showed houses, whilst Cheddar and Graham recommended Femi to come to his internship after the session didn’t go to plan. Xiang soon found Leah and was convinced by Jaheim that she was doing too much, wanting to help by making a schedule and wanting to meet, with Mabel convinced it’s a date. Femi was also ringing his uncle Teju to update him on his mentoring session, and declining the invitation to see him perform. And it looks like there was also hints that Omar was having doubts after asking Devonye advice on her and Mabel. Before the match, Michael was praising Toby for his findings and offered him a paid job as a translator for his next project. The Hockey match was then taking place where Toby confided in Leah about Abby, who gave him some advice, followed by taking a liking to Severtone student Benjamin, who declined him which was noticed by Toby. It was safe to say that there was drama on and off the pitch, with Yelena and Bea arguing, whilst Benjamin was complimenting Omar’s work and recommended a artist, being caught out by Jonny who wanted to meet his parents at The Last Supper, which he agreed. And as St Gilbert’s suffered a frustrating loss, it resulted in a massive fight. Whilst Leah and Omar  wondered about how they knew Benjamin, Toby made the decision in ringing Steve about the job offer whilst Femi accepted Cheddar’s offer of the internship, inviting him to meet his dad at The Last Supper, and warning him to avoid his sister. But Graham spotted a text from Pixie, with Femi making an accuse and Graham reminded him to not waste the future. Something tells me it’s going to be a big term for the scholarship students…

Saturday Night Live UK:

I’ve put this in the professional section as it is linked to acting. But this week I watched the latest addition of the iconic sketch show with Jack Whitehall as the host and music from Jorja Smith. The sketches this week included a Melania Trump cold open, and a sketch where someone was meeting people he thought he was dead. There was also one where Football players wanting different mascots, and a Mastermind parody was just genius. There was also “A guide on dad swapping”, which had the opposite affect, and a Masters sketch saw people hook up with each other. The Weekend Update (my favourite bit), saw a lighter spin on this weeks news, including the Grand National, AI and Artemis 2 mission, and Peter Pan sketch saw Peter returning to find Wendy married. Finally, “Falling Down A Hill with Helen Birch” kind of says it all really, and the show ended with a sketch set in the 1930s about homosexuality at that time. So all in all, a good show, and I can’t wait for it to return in 2 weeks time.

Personal:

Exercise:

This week’s exercise consisted of getting 10k at 13mins 24secs ion Monday, and then I either got to 10k at 13mins 31secs or 13mins 42secs (as I was distracted watching something on my phone ). But still, these were good times despite having to go a few minutes over to get to 15k on Saturday as seen below. I also only did two sessions at the gym as I was filming on one of the days I’d normally go, but I still gave it 100% into what I had. I also continued to do my yoga, which was beneficial after having a “Racey Racey” near the end of the week (which I’ll mention in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), and I also fit in my yoga, with one of them being my friends class. It was definitely hard with my dog walking around the room, but it was definitely a fun and relaxing session! All in all, I got my exercise in which was the main thing this week!

Surveys:

This week I only just managed to fit in two surveys in. And when I say only just, a lot has happened and I thought I wasn’t going to get two done. But I’m glad I did, as after the week I’ve had, it was a good form of self care to have. And hey, anything is better than nothing I guess!

Darts:

This week consisted of me finishing on double 2 after 5 bust scores and 20 missed match darts, followed by landing on double 8 after 2 bust scores. Two different practices, but I’m still weary of how much I score when getting to the finishing mark, but a 98 from Sundays practice for me satisfied. But overall I’m happy with my progress, and I will take away some of this practice and turn it into a positive for next week.

Premier League of Darts:

This week the tournament came to sunny Brighton. It was also Stephen Buntings birthday, so I’m glad he was able to celebrate it playing this sport. He did good facing Luke Littler following his backlash, and once again Josh Rock is definitely more settled. But it was the Ferret that won the night, and I have a feeling he’s definitely got chances to win the whole thing!

I’m A Celebrity South Africa:

This week I started the show that saw famous camp mates coming back for a second time to face terrifying trials. Some of the highlights included the start, where it involved a battle to get into the teams. But let’s just say that you wouldnt want to get on Beverly Collard’s bad side, as she ended up being mad at David haye for sending her to savannah Scrub. Some of the other trails included Craig Charles and Gemma Collins facing a eating one called “Gut Instinct”, and Venom verdict saw Seann and Sinitta being put through their paces and their camp mates deciding how well they do, where main camp won 5 times in a row. Another trial “Match Me If You Can” saw Mo and Beverly doing the first part, and Ashley and Scarlett doing part 2 which required memory, resulting in 5 stars and that Mo not getting the message on getting it in order didn’t help. But they had food, which was something at least. they also talked about life outside since their first time on the show. Ashley and Scarlett were being open when talking about children, and gemma collins herself mentioned about David Haye’s throuple rumour. Craig Charles opened up about his heart condition, linking to why he left last time, and Gemma was talking about her weight loss jabs experience. We also saw Adam having a down day,  but soon a reminder of his sons birthday lifting his spirit, and Mo opening up about is traumatic childhood, which I agree with the camp mates on how that deserves a knighthood itself. But let’s just say I wouldn’t want to be in the same room Gemma and Seann with their snoring, and I am Ashley when she was bumping into David Haye getting naked in the shower. We also saw Sinitta opening up about her relationship with Simon cowell, and how everything happens for a reason. But it looks like there’s going to be more tension, as Gemma confided in Adam about how she’s convinced that David hates her. I just can’t wait for next weeks block of the show!

Britains Got Talent:

This week I watched more of the iconic talent show. Christy Coysh opened the show with a song based on a favourite British snack, and Ren DMC literally roasted the judges. Juan Carlos was giving all the moves, and nurse Joan had me, the judges and the audience in tears. Darren Tait just had me confused, and James Phelan took on inspiration from uncle THE Paul daniels (God rest his soul) and created a routine which left me mind boggled, but in a good way. And after a string of bad acts, the audience were soon hyped up again when dance group World Wings got Amanda’s second golden buzzer. But after surprising them earlier thinking they we’re going to be part of a new statue unveiling, Glantaf Boys Choir (led by former X Factor star Lloyd Mackey) fave a beautiful rendition of a song from a popular musical film! So a good selection of auditions to be shown!

Gogglebox:

The reply critics got up to more adventures this week. Pete was doing the annual Easter egg smash, with Sophie teasing him in the process, and Izzi was talking to Ellie about auntie Margaret’s recent visit linking to her dinner. Simon was making a joke with Jane about his “dog jaw” which he got done recently, and Abbie was telling Georgia about her recent dentist appointment. Giles showed Mary “Jeremy Cricket”, Tristan told Tremaine and Twaine a drinking game. Finally, Jenny was grilling Lee about the new hand wash, and Amira wanting to show Amani her health drink, which looked quit disgusting. They also reacted to more stuff on the box set. “The Apprentice” had interview weeks taking place, and PR Lawrence faces Claude, followed by Claudine and was asked if AI helped him, and Linda soon got into him, and “The Assembly” saw Stephen Fry getting a grilling from the interviewers, asking about romance, Celine dion and his drug use. “Secret Garden” saw Doris the duck (more specifically a mallard), use a tactic to stay away from an otter, and “Britains Got Talent” saw composer Asco having a liking to the Goggleboxers. “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here South Africa” saw Craig Charles and Gemma Collins do an eating credal called “Gut Instinct, and the “ITV News” showed more news linking to Trump and the war in Iran. Finally, “The Dog House” saw a blind dog Teddy making friends with a possible friend called Fizz, who was abit nervous but soon settled in, and the “BBC News” showed the astronauts of Aremtis 2 taking the final stages of the moon.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

This week I had a few challenges, some were linked to decisions, whilst some were things that were beyond my control. One of them was deleting some job applications due to not being paid and/or not having enough time to work on the tapes needed. Yes it was disheartening, but at the same time I didn’t want to take on too much and not do them good. So I would rather focus on one thing but make it really good. I also had a job application being expired due to not getting the submission past the deadline. Yes it was not nice, but maybe this is a sign to say that maybe there will be greater things happening. During this week my mood was also changing due to nearly being on my time of the month, and to top it off I had a Panic attack at my “proper job”. I think it was a build up of everything that I did finally boiling over, and it’s when you least expect it that’s the scariest thing. But I worked my way around it by swapping some of the stuff I was meant to do to the next day, knowing that resting is the main priority.

What have I learnt this week? Know when to down, particularly when it comes to how much I take on to avoid a similar scenario to my Racey Racey moment.

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
