Fundraiser Recording, Going Back To Basics & Showing The Talent From Britain!

Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. There has been more stuff happening this week, which included the start of filming my Autism Acceptance Week fundraiser, cooking my favourite meal that was simple but delicious, and starting the show where Great Britain showcased the most weird and wonderful talent. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 16th February 2026.

Professional:

Acting Class:

This week in class we learnt more about the work of Stella Adler. We didn’t get through all of the work we were supposed to do, but what we did get through we got it through in so much detail. This included going into groups of 4, and picking out a story for tell to everyone, but say it as if it was my own. We then got asked to talk about an item that is close to us, followed by picking a different item and having that same passion and weight to the item, but in a different character that’s made up completely. The whole point of this exercise was to find my truth within that character, and the feedback I got was brilliant. I’m definitely going to take it on board and refilm it for my socials.

Content Filming:

This week I did some more filming. One was for an audition, and the other was a refilming of a scene from The Devil Wears Prada to send to both screen and stage casting directors (as there is a stage version of the iconic film). This was a lot of fun, but I didn’t expect to do the American accent. Whether I send it or not I don’t know, but for the purpose of the technique, I wanted to focus more on that. But when I do post it I will mention about the link in the description of my next version in a American accent.

Autism Acceptance Week 2026:

This week I filmed the first batch of videos for Autism Acceptance Week 2026. This was quite complex, as I had to film some sections once I could make copies and add it in, and then do my information separately. I would make more copies of some of the footage for the rest of the videos, but I’m mainly thinking about continuity purposes. So in this case my acne may have died down or because I’m on my female problems, I think the flare up may have either got worded or died down. So it’s little things like this are something I’m wary about. Don't forget to make your donation if you haven't already by clicking the link below.

Act On This Podcast:

This week I listened to the first showreel surgery of 2026. I learnt a lot as always, but the main one about having sloppy cuts can have a major impact on a showreel, and he also shared a secret when it came to lighting. But overall it was a brilliant session, and with me filming a showreel scene in the next few weeks, I’m definitely keeping it in mind. It was also a bonus to see Nugget the Dog at the end, and he was being very cute indeed.

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 10th, 11th, 12 and 13th. And there was a lot of drama happening. There was drama in the Platt household, all starting with Lily wanting a cup.  Shona Losing her temper was clearly from the fatigue, and David convinces her to relax. We then saw Shona visiting the cafe and wanting to see her dad, with Jodie trying to twist the story and suggested something else. But adding to this drama was Lily coming home to reveal she got into a fight, claiming she no one cares about her, with Jodie covering her. During a night out at the bistro, Carl met Jodie, convincing her to ditch Shona, but was soon caught, telling him to back off. Jodie then made out she had a panic attack which was caused by past aggression, then talking about how lucky Shona is whilst she rings someone  which was David, who brings home shona drunk. Jodie was then praising David whilst asking about watching a film, making him suspicious. This resulted in Shona having a hangover whilst David asked her if Jodie is needy which didn’t go too well. If then got David trying to get to know Jodie, whilst she gives off signals that got him suspicious. It even got Nick making a comment about her, with David sparking suspicions, and then giving him some advice whilst Jodie was going through the box, only to be interrupted by Shona coming home and saw a necklace. It was then that Jodie’s gesture making David suspicious again after she makes him breakfast. I kind of guessed that my dad was maybe right about his intentions, as Jodie was then knocking off david and Shonas wedding picture, making out it was an accident only to be interrupted by a call from the school about lily, with Jodie coming with him. Jodie was then talking about her experience to Lily (whether it’s true or not I don’t know), whilst later on she gave a controversial piece of advice on how to handle a situation like this again. But there was some good news, as whilst Shona and David at the hospital talking about Jodie and lily, there was some good news about Harper having surgery. David and Shona were then reporting back to Jodie, but clearly sensing her unease. Elsewhere, after the reveal of the drugs, Dev was furious for Bernie, unable to get passed what happened which was noticed by Gemma, who only revealed to tell half the truth. Gemma was then reminding her that she’s grieving, but Bernie knew she had to take responsibility. We then saw Gemma coming round to devs, with Dev still understandably furious, with Gemma accusing him of being selfish and reminded him of Paul, telling him how much she’s really struggling, with no success. We then saw Bernie telling Mal about the drugs and trying to get into her head about Dev. After Roy was telling Bernie a story, Dev dad sense apologised to her, seen by an upset Mal, and Roy offering her to finish early and Mal lying about the electrics. It then led to Dev convincing Bernie to stay over because of a “bad back”, whilst talking about Roy and the Joys of calling sick, with Mal overhearing their “alone time”, which I knew after seeing spoilers is about to get creepier. There was also more drama within the Driscoll's, as Daniel was checking in on Sam when he and Nick go to the cafe, giving him a late mark for his essay, little does he knew Megan may have something to go with it. During a family meal, Maggie revealed she looked at a letter for Ben whilst teasing Eva on working on her birthday, and Ben wanting to do something nice. If then resulted in the Driscoll's going to the Bistro, making Sam feel uncomfortable, and Eva finding a mask of her entertaining. Daniel was then telling a story, and Susie also wanting one, with Sam getting grilled his essay, with Megan claiming she has a plan to “silence him”. We then saw Sam sending a message to someone about a prescription, making out to Nick he’s revising for exams to fulfil “Mrs Crawshaw's potential”. Lily was complaining about math's whilst Megan has her plan in place, making Will see that Sam wasn’t interested in her help, leaving him on edge. At the bistro, Nick and Toyah were telling Sam to relax, asking for cinema money, when really he’s buying ADHD medication. Megan meanwhile, was criticising Will for nearly getting caught, and later on she and Daniel were talking about the meeting on his attack, whilst asking about her and Will  twisting the narrative on Sam, whilst Nina mentions a white by Oscar Wilde. Sam was then taking the pills someone got, and something tells me it’ll be crucial to what’s to come next. And it may look like something will kick in, and it all started with Kit and Adam talking about Harry’s party, followed by Daniel telling him about the guy who attacked him at Christmas, which Adam warned him to be careful. At the station, Daniel got advice on what to say, and a chat with Colin, the “attacker”, having a limp which was noticed by Daniel, and he only said it to avoid being homeless. Daniel then reported it back to Adam at the rovers, adamant that he’s telling the truth (and I’ll get into it in a moment). Whilst Susie was learning to whistle to tease Ollie and Lauren, where Ollie denied that something isn’t happening (which I’ll mention in the next section), Will was asking for an allowance which they declined, stating he can save it for himself and also for susies tablet when he breaks it. It then led to Megan telling Will to not let his anger gett in the way, and nearly got caught by Maggie, making out it’s an extra training session. Maggie was then telling him to control his temper for Bens sake and promised, with Maggie apologising to Eva, and a Badger analogy left Daniel realising the truthS Daniel was then confronting Will about the attack, and mocking him about Megan to get the truth. He then revealed to Megan that Will may have attacked him out of jealousy, considering on going to the police, with Megan convincing him to sleep on it. It then resulted in Will getting arrested. And on Friday 13th of all days. There was also more drama between one couple that no one knows the extent of it. It all started with George complimenting Roy on a meal whilst Todd and Summer having a check in, blaming him for Summer spending her money in shopping, and Todd asking George for an advance on his wages. Todd was then giving Summer some money, praising him whilst he continues to struggle. It then led to James and Todd going to the cafe and Jodie querying them about porridge, with Theo coming back unexpectedly and soon taking control of Todd’s spending, throwing Billy's picture away and followed Theo making Todd go for a run (which I skipped), which was spotted by James. It was then that Todd noticed Billy's photo going missing (which I also skipped) but things got steamy between the pair, but Todd was clearly in pain following it. And that was resulting Kim a love bite, with Theo claiming him it’s a sign to say that Todd is his. But Todd's temper following it was about to rise, as he was telling off Jake for lying on the hearse, with George catching him and telling him off. But he had more important things to worry about, as George and Todd setting up an important meeting with a woman called Annie, who was claiming George manipulated her dead mother planning to sue him. And amongst all of that, Todd had to go back for his wallet after a trip to price slice, and soon lost his temper at Jake again, with Gary telling Todd off. At the Rovers, Christina and George were talking about the situation, whilst Todd was in the middle and Theo telling him that it’ll make him look weak seeing Todd lose his temper after Gary told him what happened. He was then complaining about the sex, trying to get him back in control. It definitely seemed to have worked, as whilst Todd going for a run, Theo’s inner voice caused him to pass out, and George and Christina found blood on his socks. There was also a new romance for a potential new couple, as it started with Carl mocking Lauren and she and Ollie started flirting, which then led to eventually asking her out. On the date in the bistro, Lauren thought Ollie was making a story up, but it turns out he was telling the truth. Following their fate, Ollie and Lauren were flirting whilst he was making a food order, inviting her to a university party, only for Will to collect his parcel. Whilst Carla and Lisa talking about famous characters, they were interrupted by Lauren, and asking for advice about if it’s a date, worried about treding on Dee dees toes, and decided to go on the date. Lauren then reported back to Betsy about the date which didn’t go to plan, and offered her to come round for a girlie night to cheer her up. Betsy and Lauren were then talking to Carla about the date, where Betsy revealed she texted Ollie and that he thought she friendzoned him, and Betsy jokingly crying got Carla revealing a surprise for Lisa. After seeing spoilers, it’ll be the start of more drama happening. We also saw the rivalry between Ryan and Carl, with Ryan ordering Carl to put some QR codes in the rooms, and reminding him who Debbie left in charge, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Ronnie. He then gave him some words of wisdom. It then resulted in Ryan firing Carl after he finds the QR codes in the bin, with Carl mocking him for not having leadership and how he has Ronnie’s back, but plots revenge. And for once, Maggie gave some good advice after hearing Carls problems and recalling her past, but also warned him not to go overboard on the drink.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw a mutual agreement for an engagement party, a resident struggling with her image after a sisters way of protecting her doesn’t go to plan, and a blast from the past resulting in a life changing decision from one of the McQueens. Mondays episode saw Nancy find steroids in Oscar’s bag, and reporting it back to John Paul. Whilst the search was taking place, and despite smithy’s warnings, John Paul admitted to Dodger how he and Prince got involved. And when Smithy spotted Dodger going into the office, he had no choice by Sully but to kill both Prince and John Paul. With James Sutton's exit coming soon, I do hope it doesn’t end badly. Meanwhile, Goldie made her feelings about Warren clear, and a search on his club in Liverpool with Theresa’s help confirmed Jenson was involved. Back at rehab, Mercedes and Nikki hatched a plan to find “Jakes” whereabouts, only to find him not there. And despite being excited about the beauty salon, Roth Gemma explaining why it’s important to her following Misbah telling Vicky about it, Vicky was clearly more excited about the possibility of being a model after going for a shoot. But Gemma’s plan to get Mike’s to turn Vicky down didn’t go to plan when a comment got mentioned about her appearance. And despite Misbah and Dillons support (who revealed to her about going into business with Donny, surprisingly being okay with it), Vickys insecurities are about to take a difficult turn. Tuesdays Hollyoaks picked up where we left off from, where Dodger confided in his worries into superintendent Singh. He then got the ball rolling, as Dodger got Smithy just in time, and he refused to cooperate on his involvement. But his claims on Smithy were right when Dodger gets a gift from Longmere Prison, only for it to be Sully, threatening Theresa if he doesn’t do as he’s told. It then got him calling Theresa about putting the house in lockdown, which couldn’t have come at a worse time, as Nancy announced that John Paul is fired following his and Prince’s situation. That’s not the only drama. Frankie got an email about her place in dance school, but Nancy and Darren were preoccupied by the two engagement parties, with Darren and Ste debating on the entertainment. Red was trying to hide his unease when Leela mentioned about looking for a piece of clothing, and a soundtrack led to her and Rex talking about their loved ones, which brought them closer. At the garage, Darren came over to mention a compromise about the entertainment, with Ro surprised by Darren’s past career. After Ro takes a call, he noticed an order rex put under a different name, but I have a feeling he’ll be more supportive of him rather than question him. And Vicky was still feeling down about the comment Miles made and contemplated the steroids. Gemma made it clear about the toxic effects it can have, and her telling Frankie about the salon got her confiding in Donny about wanting what’s best for Vicky. Vicky meanwhile got some advice from Prince about losing fat. Prince was right in saying she doesn’t need to loose weight, but a run is more suitable than a weight loss jab. And Gemma was also in distress when she fears for Vickys safety, screaming by someone assumingly catching her. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Dodger following Smithy’s orders, and the fire may have been deliberate to take Smithy and get him to explain everything, especially when Vicky was in danger. But after reducing Vicky, a plan then left Donny not wanting to tell them what happened, claiming that Dodger is on his own. And during the lock in with the McQueen, Nancy was soon stuck with them after not believing them at first. It also got John Paul wondering what would happen if he didn’t come out, he didn’t have Matthew Jesus after contemplating his role as a parent, and if he did something else other than teaching. It bought back a few people, including Silver and Sally. I wasn’t expecting him and Nancy to get married, along with silver and getting it on, and it seemed that Sally is proud of him in his other profession. And not having Matthew Jesus was something that was actually a bad thing, so maybe having him was a blessing. And him calling Matthew Jesus and explaining his past was an emotional one, as whilst he may not have teaching to go back to, he has something else to look forward to, now knowing that James Sutton's exit will end on a high.

Eastenders:

This week saw a relationship on the rocks, an arrest being made, and a romantic reunion. Mondays episode saw Anthony’s funeral taking place, with Yolande's prayer being interrupted by the arrival of Howie, who offered his services. Amongst that, we also saw Kat beg Chrissie to find out where Jasmine is, and Mo making her feelings about Chrissie clear. She soon found her at a cafe in Peckham, and begged her to come home, thinking Patrick would want to see her (which is not far off the truth). At the wake, Cindy for once was actually being helpful after talking to Patrick about her experience in grief, claiming that no one in “their club” will understand. It then got him to say a few words and was delighted to see Jasmine. But before that Oscar refused to believe the truth about Jasmine killing Anthony, but some convincing from Kat eventually got her to reveal it. And Chrissie was also able to support Sam amongst all of this after getting the results from her breast cancer surgery. But that’s not the only drama on the street. Linda was still stubborn after Max lied to her, and Elaine’s short stint in prison also didn’t change her attitude, and her feud towards Ian. And whilst Ian was making it his mission to run for local council and get more revenge on Elaine, Lauren was querying Max on which side he’s on. But he did make a good point that Louie is taking out the feeling neglect on Louie, and a heartfelt chat Margot him revealing that he may still have feelings for Linda. Lauren gave him some good advice on how to approach it after her breaking point with her alcohol addiction, and Johnny also gave Linda some good advice where if she wants to just be friends, make it clear. Tuesdays episode saw the follow on from jasmines confession, explaining what happened on the night in question. Kat promised to keep her name out of it, but it didn’t last long where after an altercation with Vicki, she lost her patience and begged Kat to see her true colours. I’m glad Kat was able to cover for her again, but I don’t blame her for not knowing what she believes anymore. And soon there was a search for her bag with the phone of her killing Anthony. She then soon legged it, but came back with the rock she used, convincing Kat to help her frame Chrissie. But it looked like time was up for the teenager, as after Oscar did a kind gesture after Patrick mentioned what wakes in Trinidad were like, Jasmine ended up getting arrested. It was also an exit for Jake and Chrissie, who at first was going to call the police for murdering his brother, but a proposal soon got her to change her mind, and started a new life together. It’s just a shame they didn’t stay, mainly because Cindy and Chrissie would get along really well. Elsewhere, it was nice of Max bringing over Louie, who apologised to Ollie for his treatment towards him, and a drink at Harry’s Barn got Max thinking too far ahead, as Linda made it clear to Johnny and him that she just wants to be friends. I get why as I know she’ll always love Mick, but also because of Max's lie I understand why she was heartbroken when she found out the truth following the kids. I just hope it doesn’t affect their co parenting situation, for Annie’s sake. And a celebration for George and Nicola where it’s revealed that they’re having a girl soon turned sour when Kojo announces he’s moving back into his own flat. I get why they may have concerns following last year’s ordeal, but as an autistic person, I can also see why Kojo doesn’t want to change flats. Wednesdays episode saw Max checking in on Denise, and Kat going to see Zoe in prison and updating her on everything. Whilst that was going on, we also saw Jasmine getting interviewed, eventually getting charged with Anthony’s murder. Oscar was also trying to come to terms with everything, and rejected her help when she rang him. Yolande encouraged Oscar to turn the negative into a positive, but Patrick, clearly distraught by all of it, made his feelings for Jasmine clear. Zoe tried to convince Ritchie that she did it to protect her, but she made her see that being released is a good thing. After Denise and Sam were checking in on Kat, wondering why Sam is having radiotherapy in spin following her cancer results, Zoe returned home, and it’s clear they had different opinions on Jasmine, and still couldn’t find their phone. Little do they know that Max took it. I wonder if he’ll do what he always does and keep it a secret? He’s already in hot water, and you know that when he brings his own cereal just to mock Elaine. But Linda is adamant she wants to be on good terms with him, for Annie’s sake. But her son Johnny might have a rift in his own relationship, and his friend Tim came to visit again, and persuaded Callum’s charm to help him get an investment in him for the business. All seemed well so far, but the proposal in question left Callum refusing to do it, knowing it would damage his career. Despite Johnny reminding him of the stuff in the past linking with Ben and Phil, it’s safe to say that things may be on the rocks for the couple. And George was still adamant about his concern for Kojo, with Harry accepting his offer to move in. Harry and George were then talking about it, and explained a lesson he learnt in rehab about moving forward, where whilst he admitted he didn’t want to go back to the flat, he knows he has to do it for Kojos sake. Nicola also made him realise that it’ll make them happy, hinting that George might be lonely with Kojo not being around. Nicola and George then announced about him moving into the spare room at hers, mainly for when the baby comes. Whilst Kojo was pleased, it had abit of mixed reviews from Harry and Gina, and refused a visit to see Teddy and also making things awkward for him and Gina. Thursdays episode saw the aftermath of jasmines arrest continue, with Patrick still wrapped up in his grief. And Oscar is still heartbroken, with Jack stopping him from setting fire to the newspapers, thinking it was a good thing to help Patrick. Zoe meanwhile was also looking for the phone, and got into a debate with Kim about her daughter. What she didn’t realise is that Max may have had it this entire time, keeping it from Oscar and telling Cindy. He told her to delete it, reminding her of the time Jasmine attacked her, but soon took matters into her own hands. After denying it to Max and claiming she threw it away, Cindy was about to destroy the phone. But a call from jasmines brother Josh is about to throw a real spanned in the works, especially with the upcoming storyline. But that’s not the only emotional time. It was also the anniversary of martins death, and Sam did a nice gesture for lily, who then asked her to say for radiotherapy, knowing how much it would mean to Ricky. She then decided to do just that, which pleased everyone. There was also a reunion for Harry and Gina, as whilst Penny and Vinny were helping with the flat (and Harry reassuring George Kojo will be fine), Penny gave him some advice after why Harry wanted just Gina for a drink. It then led to a lovely moment between the pair. And Callum and Johnny were still on the rocks, but soon made up, work Callum wanting to contribute by listing some potential investors, but Johnny is secretly worried about the results from a business perspective. But money may not be the only thing Johnny has to worry about, as he and Callum get approached by someone who knows Ben, and they fatal consequences for him if don’t do the task they were given.

Dinosaur:

This week I started series 2 of the show co created by Ashley Storrie. It opened with Nina and Lee talking about David Attenborough, each of them doing their own impressions via video chat, whilst talking about Knutsford and also meeting Nina’s colleague Clayton, with Lee clearly being jealous. Clayton also gave Nina a present, and we’re talking about comparing her family to the Von Trapps, and when Dr Dunne Nina offered her to stay on, she hesitatingly said yes to staying on, then talking to Clayton about it. I can also imagine her embarrassment when Nina’s family came unexpectedly, recapping the story of how their parents met on the isle of white. The sisters then went to Nina’s caravan, asking her about Clayton’s mug, and whilst she used Evie as a weighted blanket, nina revealed about her news, thinking she’ll fail if she goes home. It then got Evie asking if she’s scared to take the next step with Lee, who was clearly upset by her the news. Ade and Diane were surprisingly pleased (but in a humorous way), and Evie calling Ranesh and Bo about the situation, as they were building their own fort. We then saw Nina showing Evie her den and her love of rocks, wanting her to support her like she did in the last series with her and Ranesh. When Ade and Diane came to the pub drunk, they ended having a hangover the next day, which was quite entertaining. It was then when Nina saw a gift package from Lee, that made her want to go home, realising that not doing what she wants is failing, and ended up driving on Buggy Malone with Clayton, but ended up breaking down. Luckily for Nina, her family came, admitting to Evie being right. She then got to the exact place which was meeting him in the bench, wanting to be in the exact middle, only for him not to turn up, with Evie suspecting that it’s because of the picture with her and Clayton. There was also a humourous moment at the end when Diane suspected of someone from Wet Wet Wet, whilst Nina gets a text from Clayton, where I think Nina may well end up being in a love triangle. Episode 2 saw Nina trying to convince herself she’s fine following the last episode, whilst Ranesh suggested some unique theories on why Lee didn’t reply. But it was quite humorous on how Nina kept noticing some new household appliances, and she had other distractions when Bo came to the house, with Evie thinking he’s hiding something. There was also a lovely moment where Evie revealed that she’s happy Nina is back, and a joke on Taylor swift after asking if Lee thinks she’s too much certainly cheered her up. We then saw Nina coming back to work, still no sign of Lee and finding out there’s a new office, with Declan saving a fossil for her and having a “special desk”, when bless her all she wants, is abit of normality. Her old Work colleague Declan soon revealed a fundraiser event Shane is organising, but all the change soon got overwhelming. Thankfully Evie came to the rescue, with them still wondering why Lee hasn’t come, whilst also thinking about Bos secret, wondering if he’s gay. But I was glad when Lee finally came, with him revealing why he didn’t answer (which sounds quite chaotic), with Nina initially thinking it’d because if Clayton. He was adamant that it wasn’t, and I did like the big she gave him. She was then reporting it back to Evie, and it was then followed Shane offering Nina a photo shoot, but was visibly not keen, and ended up going for an “autism walk”, with Clayton coming in as a visiting researcher, and asking her plans. She then eventually her photo taken and Shane talking about Clayton, and left after Shane used a unique tactic which I laughed because I got her frustration. But being the sister she is, Evie knew she needed support, with Nina reporting everything that happened and revealed she invited Lee and her relationship status, with Clayton also getting a job, and Nina not getting the social ques when Evie asks about Clayton. Evie then revealed she used a fake profile and found out he’s selling his PS5, and then teasing No when they’re on the bus. It then ended with everyone celebrating Nina, with everyone liking Lee, and Nina telling him about Bos secret, and then asking who Craig is. I found it quite surprising when Amber also came back, and revealing she’s pregnant with Bo’s baby, and I was also relating how Nina was not being able to pick up on it, and Amber explaining that she was wanting to tell Evie in person. Whilst Lee was offering to help with the baby, Clayton soon made an appearance, claiming that Nina “invited him”. I just can’t wait to see how this love triangle unfolds.

Bridgerton:

This week I watched the first 2 episodes of the iconic saucy regency drama. Episode 1: “The Waltz”, started with Eloise, Francesca and John coming back from Scotland, with Mrs Wilson and the maids and John talking about Kate and Anthony and the rest of the Bridgertons. Violet was then asking the maids and John for Benedict, who were  trying to cover up his whereabouts, finding him in an awkward position. We then saw Benedict sorting letters in place of Anthony whilst violet has a go at him, and Benedict stating he wants to be true to himself, with violet telling him to be good at the ball for the family names sake. At the palace, Charlotte was wondering where Lady Whistledown was whilst lady Danbury asked her about the masquerade. Eventually. Penelope came to give the first column encouraged by lady Danbury. She was also wanting to be careful about what she posts after Varley was gossiping, whilst Colin comes in for some “alone time”, which was followed by Alice and Will Mondrich also having alone time. Before his appearance at the ball, Benedict was seen going out of society and meeting Louis, whilst Mrs Wilson reminds the servants the purpose of the masquerade ball. Whilst everyone was getting ready, we also saw the first appearance of Sophie, who after admiring the scenery, was told to leave at midnight (which was literally giving proper Cinderella vibes). I loved how Sophie was taking in the scenery, possibly being her first time there, but got distracted when she spotted Lady Penwood, Posy Li and Rosamund Li. Lady Danbury was then seen praising violet on the ball, but surprisingly found it funny when her and Marcus came in with the same costume as her. Alice and Will also made an appearance in their glamorous Egyptian style costume, whilst the queen enters, wanting Penelope to find a leading suitor instead of debutants, with some potential option. Whilst this was happening, Mrs Wilson was asking about Benedict, who soon finally came, getting a telling off from violet and Eloise being pleased, and was forced by violet to talk to the debutants, which didn’t go down well. Whilst Penelope was giving more options for leading suitors, Lady Penwood, who revealed she’s been grieving for her husbands, was introducing Rosamund and Posy Li, and immediately grills Violet about Benedict, and immediately Posy feels left out. Penelope was then overhearing some gossip whilst she spots Eloise to report it back, and repeating charlottes words about avoiding Benedict’s name, and Eloise also revealed she’s “on the shelf” unbeknownst to Violet. During their attendance, John was asking Francesca about her thoughts on Michaela, whilst thinking to stay in London for his journey to parliament and her be closer to her family. It was then we saw the moment Benedict clapped eyes on Sophie, not knowing who she is, immediately intrigued by her. He soon had the chance in taking her off Lord Napier, with Sophie revealing she’s not looking for a husband, pleasing Benedict and surprised by her reveal of not dancing, ado took her somewhere private for lessons. Whilst Penelope was still pointing out people, Charlotte spotted Benedict and made her decision, with her being uneasy about it. There may also be some sibling rivalry when Eloise spotted Hyacinth, and started to bicker about her coming into the ball despite not being in society yet. Whilst Violet was finding Benedict, she was interrupted by Marcus and Bradley getting caught when they got intimate. Alice and Will were also wanting to meet the queen, but she got too distracted, with her liking the masquerade, but wanting some more fun this season. Lady Danbury then revealed on wanting to take a step back from society and go to her home, but Charlotte refusing her to do so. We then saw Benedict and Sophie going to the terrace, talking about feeling like an outsider, working out he’s a Bridgerton and having a flirty conversation, with Benedict revealing about him being an outsider. We then saw the dance lesson taking place, leading to a charged moment, but Sophie leaves after the stroke of midnight, leaving her glove and bumping into Araminta, who also spots a flustered Penelope. Benedict was then finding Sophie, not knowing she’s a maid, thanking her colleagues for her support. The Penwoods then came home and chatted about the lady in silver, little do they know it’s actually Sophie, and Araminta having her suspicions. Penelope also made it clear she was against Benedict being the pick of the season after knowing him personally, claiming he’s least likely to marry, and ended up in a wager with Charlotte. Eloise then revealed to violet she’s “on the shelf”, but Violet was adamant that she and Benedict are the priority for the season. She then found Benedict, who claims he appreciates the hours girls take to get ready, only to overhear hyacinth. It then ended with Lady Whistledown giving her latest Column whilst Sophie reflects on the night. Episode 2: “Time Transfixed”, saw Benedict drawing a picture of Sophie, clearly smitten by her. We then went back to the past, where Sophie ruins a dress, with Alfie helping her whilst lady Araminta questioned about Rosamund’s mask, whilst Posy tried to stand up for her, but still made her apologise. Sophie was clearly feeling envious and not being appreciated by her, wanting to go to the ball, with Alfie and Irma encouraging her to go and get ready for the ball. Back in the present, Lady Whilsedowns column was coming in, with Eloise and hyacinth bickering, Penelope praising John to Francesca, and Benedict getting too distracted by Sophie. It was then that Araminta noticed her shoes and getting Sophie to clean them, and a another blast from the past saw seeing Sophie’s father meeting Lady Penwood. The present saw Sophie possibly jealous of Benedict and Rosumand, and soon revealing her encounter with Benedict to Alfie and Irma. Meanwhile, a game of chess saw tension between lady Danbury and Charlotte following the ball, and a visit from lady Baird upped it even more. And a promenade seeing Eloise convinced no one is interested in her, only to bump into Benedict and surprised to see him, wit violet making an excuse to see Marcus and Benedict telling Eloise for the mission to find the owner of the glove in return to stop Violet from matchmaking. It then got Penelope finding out about the lady in silver, and asked Benedict clues to finding her, but also state that it’s a bad idea and suggested go mention his name, with Eloise and Penelope talking about the affect it’ll have. It was clear that the new column frustrated Charlotte, whilst Violet and Marcus get closer, only to be distracted by the column, and delighting Araminta. Alfie convinced Sophie the article is about him, only to be interrupted by rosamund. Another promenade then saw Benedict matchmaking Eloise, making her feel uncomfortable with Lord Tuss, and getting some clues whilst Benedict looks at facial gestures, and mistaking rosamund for Sophie. Violet and Posy were questioning why Rosamund got turned down, thinking that men are fickle, and Benedict’s search has no success, with the column saying otherwise, and Sophie being relieved. Violet was then asking Penelope about Benedict’s search, whilst he looks at his drawings, giving up, only for Violet to confront him about it. It’s a good job she was there, as she was able to find the label on Penwood house, and convinced it’s not Rosamund and Sophie remembering the night. The past then saw her her father asking why she’s not in a dance lesson, and explained the interaction with Rosamund and Posy, and asked about her mother, but with no answer and stating he’ll a always take care of her. In the present, Post telling Sophie about the call, only to find it’s Benedict. Benedict was clearly pleased by Posy’s dreams, with Alfie reassuring her, but insisted of him wanting Posy, but Alfie tells her to reveal the truth and not to worry about Araminta, but gives in, convinced he’s looking for The Lady In Silver. Benedict was then asking about the costume, and Araminta clocked into it after seeing him with a glove from the masquerade ball. At the palace, Brimsley convinced lady Danbury to come back, but was still not convinced, with brimsley reminding her of the past. Back at Penwood house, Araminta forced Sophie to wear the shoes, revealing the truth and Sophie standing up to her, and Ariminta revealing Sophie was an error and fired her. Irma and Alfie blamed themselves, but Sophie reassured them it’s not the case and Posy showing some compassion and finding some shoe clips. Benedict was also still frustrated in his search, and Violet noticing whilst lady Danbury comes back to apologise but having another argument on where they stand, and Charlotte soon apologising and secretly scared of George, hence being the reason why she doesn’t want to leave. In the streets of London, Sophie was unable to sell the shoe clips, but soon got on a coach. Surprisingly, Benedict was expecting to be married when Eloise asked the question, but did nothing at “The Clubhouse” with Sophie still on his mind. Some time later saw Benedict at Cavender House, with someone being taken. We then saw Benedict coming the rescue one of the maids, and Sophie recognising him. Another flashback then saw Sophie at her fathers funeral, finding out her father didn’t mention her in the Will, and Ariminta telling her about her mother being a maid, convincing her that being a maid will protect her. In the present, Benedict was wanting to help her after the treatment, which she accepts, ending with Lady Whistledown’s column released as Benedict wonders if they did meet before.

Heated Rivalry:

This week I watched the show that everyone was talking about on social media. Episode 1: “Rookies”, saw Shane and Ilya meeting for the first time, with shane demonstrating traits of being autistic when the commentators introduce them. One week later saw Shane’s team loosing, and both Shane and Ilya attending the draft, with Shane being number 2 and Ilya being number 1, with their families talking about the next stages of their career, with Shane’s heritage being a good representation, and Ilya wanting to do Russia proud. Later on, Shane was letting off some steam at the gym, with Ilya joining him, having a bike race and a catch-up on countries they visited and sharing water got the two of them flirting. 6 months later saw the international prospect cup and we also got to see some of Ilya’s life outside of hocky. The main thing being was having a call from brother alexei about needing money for drugs and getting pressured from his father. It was then followed by Canada winning a game and 6 months later saw a photo shoot between Shane and Ilya, cheekily flirting with each other and finding the whole thing funny. Ilya then revealed that the promo was his idea and it was then followed by Shane’s mother making sure he signs a deal with Reebok. A shower moment then had more sexual tension, with Shane feeling weary of others, convinced he wants to forget about it. Soon enough, Ilya was inviting himself to Shane’s room and bumping into Yuma on the way, not realising who she was.  We then saw Shane and Ilya getting intimate with Ilya, revealing his history with his coaches son and also being new to Shane, and promising to keep it between them. 3 months later then saw Ilya in an interview and Shane being in goalie and met for dinner with his parents, who got an notification about Rolex whilst explaining to his dad about what a rabbit hole is. Shane’s mum Yuma was then talking about Ilya, then some time later, Shane and Ilya were coming against each other whilst Shane gets interviewed by my a French journalist following the match. It was then followed by  Ilya having an argument with Alexei about their father and money. 3 months later, we were in Nashville and at an all star game the press, with Shane taking over when Ilya hesitated. The match was then taking place with the goals happening whilst talking about their team, whilst giving his room number, with Shane claiming it’s all talk when his teammate Scott Hunter asks, who then reveals he’s his next door roommate. Despite an awkward moment, the pair got intimate again and suggested the next meeting, and Shane hesitating about it being in his apartment, and gave each other code names. Two weeks go by, and we see Ilya in Boston airport and not being able to go due to heavy snow, which resulted in Shane’s teammate inviting him for dinner following the news and the game being cancelled. We then saw Ilya going back go his apartment with his girlfriend, which I was not expecting. 4 months later and we were in Las Vegas, seeing Shane and Hollander being rookies of the year, with Shane taking the title. It was nice of Scott on congratulating Shane, but also asked him about Ilya, doing some shots in the process. Shane and Ilya were then chatting after searching for him, and talking about rookie of the year, leading to an argument about it, with Ilya clearly jealous of it.  And you know when there’s tension, when Shane stopped Ilya from passionately kissing him, in fear of getting caught. Episode 2: “Olympians”, took us through the Summer of 2011 and throughout 2012 and 2013, seeing Shane and Ilya texting each other, and the fall saw Canada winning and overtime they text each other. We also saw a moment of Shane’s teammates joking about, whilst prepping for his interview, whilst he and Ilya send flirty texts, and Shane joking on how he won’t meet him, we then saw Ilya teammate asking who “Montreal girl is” whilst Shane grills him on the game. But soon they got intimate again in his apartment, talking about how he got it they Ilya teasing him about his pillows and protection. The two were then discussing the Olympics, with them not being able to see each other during as Shane is playing. We then were in Winter 2014, with the Olympics on Sochi taking place and Shane’s teammates talking about Russia losing to Latvia, then discussing rooms and friend from the figure skating, and talking about his sexuality, which didn’t go noticed by Scott. Shane then made an excuse fair the bathroom, when actually he went to find Ilya, who gets texts from his brother, pushing away Shane as a result. Ilya and his father were then talking about the minister meeting, clearly feeling the pressure at the event. Sensing his unease, Ilya’s girlfriend Elena took him to see Sasha and hung out with them, who then encouraged him to stop thinking about what his father thinks. Sasha and Ilya were alone and tried to make a pass, but turned him down. The Spring 2014 in Montreal saw Shane going to meet his teammates to watch Ilya's game, with Ilya giving his team a motivational talk and Shane making out he hates Ilya. Although unsurprisingly he’s secretly pleased that Ilya won. We then saw them together at the Major league hockey awards in the summer of 2014, with Shane and Ilya chatting about life and why they haven’t texted, moments before they give an award, getting a selfie with him on stage. But in the toilets, Shane grilled Ilya on what he wants after ignoring his texts for ages and the joke he made on stage, with Ilya teasing him Shane complementing him on his English, and having New Yorker as something in common when he mentions his dad reading it. After Ilya won an award, a deal they made resulted in both of them teasing each other. But it soon turned again when Shane brought up Russia, asking Ilya why he’s going back to Russia for the summer, claiming it’s home, but failed to open up about the true extent of his troubles. And Shane is also in a spot of bother when he doesn’t know what to say next.

Personal:

Exercise:

This weeks exercise included timings as seen below of 13mins 36secs when I got to 10k on Monday (where I did a little bit extra to get to that 15k), and 13mins 39secs when I got to 10k on Saturday (despite not making it to the full 15k). I know I could’ve done better, but my usual workout at the gym definitely made up for it. I also did a yoga session led by a god friend of mine, and like last time it was really good, and once again a perfect way to end the week. Although Margo wasn't too keen herself lol!

Cooking:

Because it was just me and my sister, I went back to basics with a delicious stir fry. Need I say no more about it, as I’m lucky to have maenads something simple yet tasty. But I can’t wait to see what else I cook this week!

Survey:

This week I had two days of surveys. I’m glad I managed to have time to actually do them, and it was a great form of self care too. A brilliant task indeed, and given I’m nearly up to my budget (all I can say is thank god for savings), it’ll be a good little income earner.

Darts:

This week I had my usual two practices. Whilst I ended on a double 3 on Tuesdays game, I ended up having to stop during the second game due to a broken stem on my dart. It was frustrating yes, but at least I got some good scores out of it.

Premier League:

This week I watched the darts coming from Glasgow. With Michael Van Gerwyn out because of illness, there was only 3 quarter final matches, with Luke Littler receiving an automatic bye to the semi final. But ultimately it was The Ferret Johnny Clayton winning the game, and in all fairness he did do well. After looking at the table, if he carries on like this, not only will he make the play offs, but I think he may win the whole thing again

Gladiators:

This week was the last of the heats, and it featured personal trainer Sid, and construction foreman Mo, and cake baker Helena and designer Nikki. Sid got disqualified on “Unleash”,  and fire absolutely scorched Nikki during that event. “Crash Course” also saw phantom disqualified for holding Mo for more than 3 seconds, and of course legend would make a appearance on “The Wall”. And I didn’t like Viper picking on Apollo for his looks, but I did love Bradley’s expression when Vioer stripped off. “Duel” saw three disqualifications, and let’s just say Legend tried to hog the spotlight during “Gauntlet”, and during that event Bionic had the grumps on. Finally, “The Eliminator” was a tense one, particularly for the female contenders. As Nikki’s errors and phenomenal comeback was one to show that you should never give up. But in the end it was Mo and Helena that got through, with Shaun and Millie being the fastest runners up. I can’t wait to watch the quarterfinals now!

Winter Olympics:

This week I watched the final week of action of the winter competition in Italy. Although there were moments I didn’t watch due to some of the events not being my cup of tea, but there were some brilliant moments I watched. These included NAME from the United States being the oldest woman at the age of 41 to win a medal in the one woman Bobsleigh aka monobob, Kirsty Muir just missing out on a medal in the Women’s free ski big air, but she did really well, and Kirsty Spurs doing really well in the figure skating despite some previous injuries. There was also a lot of drama, including a huge crash in the semi finals of the women’s speed skating, and seeing a video on YouTube about a athlete from Austria getting seriously injured in one of the bobsleigh events. I was also gutted that the men’s curling for Great Britain missed out on a gold, but the important part is they did their best and that’s all you can do. But overall it was a brilliant event, and I can’t wait for the Winter Paralympics to commence.

Britain’s Got Talent:

The famous show of looking for more UK talent returned for series 19. It had it all, from a chicken, to sounds, from fire to dogs, it definitely kicked off with a bang. My personal favourites were a magician who used a personal aspect of his life into his act, a drone group who gave a brilliant piece, and a dance group where the moves may look simple, but one small mistakes will affect the whole performance. But my favourite act had to be a para athlete who proved that there are no excuses. If that’s only the start, I wonder what will be next?

Gogglebox:

This week I watched another episode of the show where people were talking arching telly. And they had more gossip to share before watching the shows. Danielle was telling Daniella about her bowling date and why she decided to do it, and Andre was talking to Sarah and Cheé about a power cut. Julie was showing Shaun what Tom got her for Valentine’s Day, and Ellie and izzi were chatting about their aunty Margaret and how the news on Ezra being ill went about. Giles and Mary got a jumper for their dog Merlin which was quite entertaining, and Jake was talking to Michael, sally and Harry about his card getting declined in whetherspoons, which was funny. Finally, Alfie was telling Andrew a I’be getting a notification on a tanning office about a Valentine’s Day message, and Lee giving Jenny an umbrella that changes colour. They also watched more brilliant stuff on the box set “The Masked Singer” saw Conkers and Moth performing their pieces and getting u masked and “Bargain Holiday Secrets” focused on all inclusive buffets, and a professor explaining how to go about it correctly. “Gladiators” saw Helena and Nikki take on the eliminator, and “Love is Blind” saw Tyler putting Kevan on the spot about her and Keya, with Tyler leaving and Keya standing her ground. The “ITV News” celebrating Larry the cat on Downing Street, and “The Floor” saw Gemma and Michelle going head to head about birds. Finally, “Steal” saw a finance department getting raided, and the goggleboxers being surprised by Zara’s involvement, and “This Morning” saw John Torode going through tips on the perfect steak for Valentine’s Day, and an adult joke made me both laugh and also abit uncomfortable.

Challenges I faced & How I Overcame Them:

The main challenge I went through this week was my time of the month coming back. Surprisingly it took me by surprise that I wasn’t on edge, as normally I get into a foul mood a week before my time of the month. But I suppose every cycle is different, but I’m glad I got through the worst of it this week. The other thing that was a challenge was being nearly up to my budget. But it’s moments like this where I’m thankful for savings, as I know a lot of people aren’t so lucky. I think I’ll know next time not to spend so much, particularly on sushi.

What have I learnt this week? Go back t a safe space whenever I feel overwhelmed, which was what I took during the yoga class.

See you soon for another blog. Until next time…

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
