Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week, as it’s the week of half term for most of us in the country, it’s definitely been an interesting, exciting and painful experience (but more on that during the blog). So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 26th May 2025:
Professional:
Actors Pro Expo:
This week I listened to two Actors Pro Expo seminars. The first one was with Lizzy Fieldhouse who is an agent, who gave me some good tips and tricks on how to work with your agent and it against them, and the second one is with a showreel producer who talks about how to make your showreel pop. There were some similar advice I got from similar people, and also some differences too. It also gave me some food for thought, as each genre they mentioned is popular in a different country. But overall I’m quite happy with the quality of information they both shared, definitely something to take forward with me. And going into the final week, I would maybe need to prioritise finishing at least 2 more before they expire.
New Opportunities:
This week I was offered the opportunity to perform at a scratch night in my hometown. This was music to my ears, and given the fact that it’s in my hometown too makes it even more special! Make sure to keep an eye out on my socials (X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok), to find out more about the even very soon!
Half Term/Half Way Mark Sketch:
I managed to get down the first draft of a new sketch I’ve been working on, and even managed to film some of it as well. And giving my setback I’ll mention later on, sometimes it’s moments like this where you really need to turn a negative into a positive. And I’ve even started to write a comedy scene for me to film inspired by a workshop I did (which I’ll mention in the next section).
Acting Class:
This week was a special class, as we had a session with charity shop sue actress Selina Moninksi. That was an exciting one, as she told her story, the work after her character, and even a little bit of improv with the lady herself to see if we could get a job with her. But all in all, a really great session, and some new found inspiration on creating your own work and where to find people to help you with it.

Linking-in On New Opportunities:
This week I signed up for an opportunity to send my story on being neurodivergent through a job on LinkedIn. Yes as I’m writing this I haven’t heard anything back, but for me to take the courage and apply anyway I’d an achievement itself. And that is something that I implore everyone to do. Whether it’s a job interview, a opportunity you’ve been wanting to do for a long time OR for actors like myself wanting to reach out to a creative they lion up to, take the plunge! And regardless if you hear anything back or not, just know that you should be proud of yourself for reaching out in the first place!
Act On This Podcast:
This week I caught up on another amazing podcast with director Marcus Lee. I loved his journey into the industry, his other aspirations to be a rapper, and also how he plans out his shoots using an example of an actor he casted as a day player role. All in all, it was really fascinating to watch, and it also gave me some knowledge on how to plan out shoots for my next film which I’ll take on board with me. As I know how I want it shooting, it’s just the case of what camera angles to use.
PICTURE
Coronation Street:
This week I watched episodes from 14th and 16th May, both of which were directed by Jason Wingard. The 14th saw Lauren needing to find a job after Aadi couldn’t help her out due to business reasons, but after a bust up with Betsy (which ended with Roy getting squirted with ketchup which he wasn’t too mad about), Carla was then convinced by Roy to give her a trial shift at the rovers, which at first didn’t get to a best start after Lauren spilled a pint, but seemed to have liked it, even if Carla did get annoyed by the karaoke machine again and the gang having a mixed opinion on the uniform, but it shows that Glenda's trial role as manager definitely got off to a good start. But Lauren and Betsy managed to bury the hatchet, but let’s hope when Bobby comes back he’ll be able to patch up on good terms with Lauren. Abi and Debbie decided to go for some girly time whilst Kevin is at his chemotherapy session, but seeing Ronnie led to Debbie drowning her sorrows, even though Abi insisted it would be a quiet one. Whilst Debbie was on the verge of telling her the truth, Carl came just in time to bring her home, which I feel is making Abi realise she has feelings for him. But one thing I can say is you do not want to mess with Carl Webster, as even though Ronnie says she broke up with him, Carl is still being in protective brother mode. But the biggest plot was leading up to the special episode, where Gary saw red after Liam (who was tasked by mick to get some bacon sandwiches), admitted that it was mick who locked him in the shed, but his plan to give him a taste of his own medicine didn’t go to plan, as even though Kit saw it, he didn’t do anything. Instead he threatened Gary to stay away from mick or else he’d ended up with false imprisonment, and Gary is understandably upset when he asks Kit why he hasn’t arrested mick. Sarah and Bernie also spent some quality time together (which included some interesting questions on star signs and crystals), and Sarah leaving due to being fed up of waiting is understandable, but Bernie’s discovery on an old photo made her realise the truth about his past. The 16th saw the full extent of what happened during mick, Kit and Lou’s past. I loved the interchange between the past and present, and little bits of the present linked in with where it stemmed from in the past. But we also got to see a foreshadowing moment of what’s to come. As Craig is excited about his CID placement where Kit will be shadowing him, but he tries everything he can to sway Craig out of it. He also isn’t having a bad day when he spilt beer all over Mick, and the small confrontation itself is an indicator that his exit will shortly happen. Gary also told Sarah what really happened between mick and him and how Kit did nothing. But kits rant to Sarah was overheard by Lisa who was quite surprised by it, but Sarah opened up about trust which kit seemed to get on board, but Bernie’s interference led to the real reason behind his anger, where we headed back to naughties era. It was revealed that mick and kit we’re friends, and mick was keen to join the army. They also liked Lou at the time, but mick seemed to get in their first. We also got to see Kit and his foster mum, who I felt she was the reason why Bernie didn’t visit kit (and why she ended up scoring), which then led to Kit and Mick plotting a prank on the shopkeeper at the time, which then fell through when there was someone inside. But mick took the fall whilst Kit got away, and that’s when the feud started. And it definitely started during a visit to see young Mick in prison after Kit and Lou refused to do a job for him. Back in the present, after generously offering a pint for Micks behaviour and wanting to make peace with Gary and Maria following another confrontation, Lou was obviously angry at Kit for his scuffle with mick (interrupted by Lisa), and it linked with the past that Kit and Lou had a fling behind micks back, but I’m just as surprised as Kit when Lou revealed she’s staying with him. And back in the present, the end of the episode showed that the look they gave each other signified that the paternity of Brody is about to get a whole more interesting.
Hollyoaks:
This week saw a rescue mission commence, anxious waits, one resident hitting a milestone, and a familiar face returning. Mondays episode saw the plan to stop the exploitation group begin, but whilst things seem to be looking up, Darren interfering may have ruined everything. But after getting a message from someone who later turned out to be Kat, Darren going to banks (not realising it’s him behind all of this), made him realise he’ll have to do it himself. But thankfully Kat has managed to keep him quiet and lead him to Frankie, and now he’s realising what they’re making her and Dillon do. But Dodger, who was informed by banks that Darren interfered, decided to go ahead anyway by first of all getting Robbie, who knocked him out himself and managed to free Vicky and Dillon. But whilst all seems hopeful, they’re trapped again, leaving them all in danger yet again. And meanwhile, Diane is starting to suspect banks’ lies after seeing him and grace chat, following him to the house. And whilst banks managed to cover it up, a case of mistaken identity leaves her in shock when one of banks’ assistant gives her a bag of money. And Ste is still dreading about Lucas following his seizure but the surgery is still going ahead anyway. Tuesday's episode saw Mercedes finish her treatment, and it was news news to Freddie’s ears. However, he has other things to worry about when Nancy reveals that Darren and Robbie are kidnapped by the gang, and that Dillon, Frankie and Vicky are nowhere to be seen. And after nearly loosing Curtis, Rex tried to convince grace that this whole scheme is wrong, but even that wasn’t enough to show that she wanted to be at the top of everyone else. And Banks’ next plan is even more disgusting than ever. Let’s just hope Dodger can get to them in time. Meanwhile, Diane is starting to realise that the money is for something much more bigger, and Ste gets the news of Lucas’ bleed on the brain during his surgery, so I do hope he manages to pull through, as after being confronted by Nancy on Rex, Ste doesn’t need anymore heartbreak going on. Finally, Wednesdays addition saw Darren and Robbie make it just in time as Donny came to the rescue, revealing how he found them! But Frankie, Vicky and Dillon were all in danger after Banks did a live auctioning of the three teens, which was kind of hard to watch. But thankfully a intervention from Dillon and Frankie gave Dodger the perfect chance to get to where they are, but his plans were thwarted when Banks got him, but I do hope he manages to escape this one. And there may be more drama ahead when Banks is shot, and whilst I’m glad that’s one villain gone, I wonder out of Dillon, Frankie and Vicky who shot him? There was also more drama in the village when Grace manages to get Banks’ contacts and also meet his wife, who happens to be an old character and also a relevance of Graces. Now that is interesting. And whilst Ste is relieved that they’ve managed to control the bleeding of the brain in Lucas, he was more upset when he find Rex in the live auction, when in fact he was trying to save them. And even though he managed to explain himself, showing that he doesn’t want any part of the gang, I hope Ste breaking things off doesn’t send him down a dark path again.
Eastenders:
This week in Walford we saw secrets being revealed, a dangerous situation, and possibly love being in the air. Mondays episode saw Avani struggling to cope with the revelation of her and Joel’s relationship, but after many attempts and different pieces of advice from Zack and teddy, Barney was able to get Avani to open up to him. And speaking of Zack, he is on a mission of his own as his plan to escape Walford was underway. Vicki obviously was against it and Ravi was unable to help knowing how dangerous Nicola is, and now that Linda knows the truth, her advice may have had some impact, as he went to the police and gave a full description of what Nicola did to Shireen. And after telling Harry (who was already on edge after declining teddy’s offer for a drink) the truth, I thought there was going to be a big showdown, but it just left him with food for thought. And after an intense conversation, it led him to telling Teddy about barneys paternity, and I dread to think how Teddy will react. But meanwhile Nigel is now upset about not celebrating his birthday even though he didn’t want a fuss. But after some advice from Yolande, Nigel opened up about why he doesn’t want a fuss, which led to him and Phil planning something to enjoy, little do they know the danger that’s coming their way. Tuesdays episode saw where we picked up from with the tension between Harry, Nicola and Teddy. It took some doing, but Nicola eventually managed to come clean about Barney's paternity, but amongst all the drama, was there for Avani when she opened up about the trolls she’s been getting, which Barney was very pleased about. And he and Avani may be getting closer, and I do wonder if she’s starting to get feelings for him? But if she is, I hope he treats her with the kindness she deserves. However, Teddy was having none of it, and whilst he agreed to keep barneys paternity a secret to him, he made it clear that they’re over for good. But Harry is once again using his anger in the wrong direction when he invited Zack to meet him at the arches, which Teddy was concerned and so was Vicki. But meanwhile, Nigel lost his temper when talking about seeing Rocky at the cinema, which Billy and honey noticed the affect it was having on Phil. But Nigel managed to explain why he wants to see a classic after mentioning him Phil and grant on their past adventures. But their trip came to a halt when being caught up in Teddy, Harry and sacks drama, which resulted in teddy and Zack ending up in a river. Talk about a “doof doof” moment there! Wednesday's episode saw the follow on from what has happened, and even though Teddy managed to make it out alive, Zack wasn’t so lucky. And on top of that Nigel went missing, and I think the dementia hasn’t helped. But thankfully with the help of Teddy, honey managed to find him, where she suggested a plan of what’s happened, knowing how it wolf break their family apart. But meanwhile after Avani invited Barney back to hers, knowing he didn’t want to hurt her, turning her down made her upset which is understandable. But Ravi gave him some words of advice, and you know you have the seal of approval when you have a handshake from the dad. And then Barney and Avani opened up to each other, which including Barneys lack of experience in the bedroom department, and then Avani opening up about the strip search. And I do hope this will turn into something great as they both deserve happiness. But Barney's world is further turned upside down when after Vicki had one too many to drink (which obviously made Linda feel uncomfortable due to her past as an alcoholic), revealed the truth to Barney about his paternity and sacks fate. I think that was an even bigger “doof doof” moment. Finally, Thursdays episode saw the moment where we picked up from, with Barney shell shocked by what’s happened. And after chatting with Teddy, I don’t blame Barney for wanting some time to process everything, and going to see Vicki is what he needs. But the biggest plot of all came when Zack returned and was alive despite getting abit wet (how he’s even alive I don’t know), and tried to convince Barney that going away from Walford is best for him. But again he doesn’t know what he wants. But it’s not just Barney who is in for a shock. As Harry finally got the truth from Nicola about Shireen and why she did it, where Harry got violent yet again. And after a tense showdown between Zack and Teddy, Barney decided to go back with the Mitchell’s, which may be difficult for Zack, but barneys wish for things to go back ti the way they were was guaranteed.
XO Kitty:
This week more of series 2 of this just got better and better. Episode 3 “New Years Kiss” saw Juliana still abit jealous about kitty’s feelings for Yuri, and Yuri wasn’t surprisingly mad when she revealed it was Kitty’s idea for her to reach out to Nina. Kitty had other things on her mind when Alex mentioned that there isn’t enough funding for the time capsule opening due to the arts programme taking over. So Praveena came up with the idea to do a heist with Min ho helping out, where Kitty explained why it’s important to her. Even though there was success, along with Min ho stating why he declined his dads offer to spend time with him in his ski cabin for Seollal (even though Stella convinced him to make it up to him). Kitty and Yuri then find a place to purchase something to play the tape, but Juliana was once again not happy when she find out she was late because of Kitty again. But when watching the videos, the emotions got to kitty when seeing her mum and also finding out Simon’s Korean name, leading to a charged moment between her and Yuri, which was caught by Min ho. But in other news, Q was still facing the wrath of Jin, but the truth on why he was tormenting Q came to light, and they managed to find their differences. But I wonder if it’s all part of his game plan? And Dae is encouraged by both his dad Min ho's dad (which for once gave him some good feedback on coaching Dad) to carry on, and Minho enlisted the help of Eunice to help Dae, leading to an attraction to one another. Episode 4 “Kiss and Tell” picked up where we left off from, with Minho bumping walking into the moment with Kitty explaining her feelings for Yuri. Whilst at his cabin, a text from his dad left him feeling deflated, but Stella reassured him that they’ll still have a good time. There was also drama at the cabin when Jin sneaked in to see Q, which was then later revealed, and to make things even, Minho and Dae bullied him, which somehow did the trick. There was also a potential love interest for Dae, as I did feel for him when trying to impress Eunice with helping her with her luggage, and her knowledge on the fireplace and her giving a massage came as a surprise to him. And a mix up with a love letter gave them a date to think about when they came back. And speaking of the love letter, before then Yuri made it clear that she loves Juliana, but reading the letter made her feel guilty knowing how Kitty felt about her, and it eventually lead to the truth upsetting Juliana and Praveena. But thankfully minho was the good friend his is and gave her some words of wisdom, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Stella. It also led her to discover that she brought the letter, and Stella stole Min-ho's dads box, but it led to an argument between him and Dae after finding out he tried to tell kitty how he felt. Episode 5 “Kissing Cousins”, saw Kitty with the help of Min ho go to Buckjeon to visit her cousins Jiwon in the hope of finding out some secrets between her and her mother. It was funny Jiwon thinking that she and Min ho are a couple, but the visit from Halmoni, and Kitty revealing the real reason why she came did not go to plan. But after some doubt, Minho I think May have somehow confessed his feelings for her by saying how great she is. And that was I think what Kitty needed to hear, as Yuri, Juliana and Praveena are a doing her following the cabin weekend, and Yuri talking to Kitty about where she stands understandably broke her heart, and Juliana got the wrong idea again. And Dae is also mad about Min ho's plane confession, but Kitty managed to say why it’s more deeper than the confession, which will hopefully make Min ho realise that he needs to be careful on what he says. Yuri also had to confide in Dae after noticing his dad is getting tired from so many shifts, and his car accident which Dae found out may be linked to overworking himself. And Yuri had a reality check from Alex about what Juliana really needs, and Q made her see that Kitty isn’t a bad person deep down, which then Juliana revealed why she’s directing her anger at Kitty an not Yuri. In turn Juliana made a point about Stella which she agrees with Kitty on after Q brushed it off the first time, and she might be right when a news article was suddenly leaked online.
Malpractice:
SUMMARY. Episode 3 picked up from where we left off from, with Kate informing James that the girl he was with was stable. I also saw that both Kate and James were on a relationship, which I was not expecting, but that along with James’ situation could put the ward into big trouble. Sophia was also in the hot seat when she was being interviewed on Maria Carter, claiming not to be notified on the psychiatric referral, and bad mouthing her, and after he discovered Toni’s birthing history, James confronted Sophia herself, but his way of doing it only made him look more guilty (but I’ll get onto that in a moment). This was then informed to Eric, who then had to sit in and supervise with James and Kate. George also saw a Dr called Ava Lawal to help with what happened linking to Rosie, and after mentioning the clue on how a midwife makes a referral, and most likely a doctor cancelling it, it gave them more clues to ask for the test results of the 4 days Rosie was in the hospital for. But initially thinking it was an infection, the tests seemed perfectly fine, meaning that it was a mental situation which was brushed off, and that Maria was the only one who noticed it. And speaking of Maria, James did everything he could to contact her, but a threat from Sophia said otherwise, which led me to believe that Sophia may not be such a nice person. And it may have showed as well when not listening to fellow colleague Ellie on new mum Claire’s birthing plan. Yes everything was fine, but Sophia got a telling off from the senior staff after Claire specifically wanted a certain birthing plan, which again doesn’t look good on her. James’ patient Aislene took a turn for the worse, where at first only wanting to be with James to get close to her, and then after spotting him with Kate, she got herself in a sticky situation which precious saw when Aislene showed her her mobile. And the actual conversation was Kate telling James about the bullying complaint, and they decided to keep their relationship on the downlow for now. Norma also has a challenging time at home, when she finds out that daughter Rubi is seeing her tutor and also mentioning that she’s leaving medical school due to her lack of fulfilment. And her researching the tutor doesn’t go unnoticed by George. Whilst Norma and George have evidence to show that there’s more to this case, Eric specifically tells them to focus on Rosie, but they’ll have more to deal with when Fizz (the girl from the last episode) checks into the ward.
Code of Silence:
SUMMARY. Episode 3 started off with Alison being assigned to seeing a man in the pub, hoping it’ll give them more clues, but mentioning her incident at the pub gave Ashleigh some doubts. Also on then used her lip reading skills to pick up a clue, and when surveillance couldn’t help, she decided to take matters into her own hands, using an app to help pick up the conversation and was narrowly able to keep her distance. Whilst Ashleigh gave her a telling off for it, James praised her bravery, and she decided to continue it as Alison gave Liam a telling off for her encounter in the previous episode, and to make it up, Liam invited her round to his for a drink. We also got to see Liam's journey in the care system and why he struggles with trust, and maybe he fell into the gang knowing how vulnerable he would be. Yes Francis made it clear that getting to involved is dangerous, but from it she managed to pick up a clue where the meeting would be held in an ice rink. Despite a glitch, she managed to pick up the name of the insider known as Chandra, but it doesn’t stop Ashleigh from voicing her concerns to James, who then hit back on why she’s an important part of this team. She then told her to stay away from the pub following a clue about Braden giving pub owner mark a bag which led to a drug search, but I don’t think it would be possible as after Liam asking her out on a date, and after he became suspicious of her, Braden came and made a snide comment about Alison’s dad (which I thought was horrible). Liam also queries Alison why she didn’t turn up for the date, and after mentioning of her eviction notice (which I’ll get onto in a moment), he is then threatened by braden, making it clear that he is in this and there’s no way out. But Alison has other things to worry about, as after her mum saw the waiting time for the right to work package, they now have an eviction notice which is the last thing on their mind. And after speaking with Eithan, she may be able to challenge it after doing some research. It’s also obvious that he still cares for Alison, but she may have other things on her mind when one of the directors of the housing company is part of the gang on the form of Wolf. After voicing her concerns to James, he then explained the past robbery at a jewellers and Wolfs involvement in it. And disobeying Ashleigh’s orders, Alison makes it her mission to get more involved with Liam and braden, but her growing connection with Liam may lead her to make some difficult choices. Episode 4 saw Alison querying about liams sentence if he were to be changed with conspiracy, and it promoted Ashleigh to suspect if she may be starting to develop feelings for him. And judging from the kiss in the previous episode, she may be right. It also promoter Alison to ask about the job, and we also saw him asking her out again, proving that he doe’s genuinely like her, and that it wasn’t part of his plan. We also got an update from Chandra the insider on her next steps, and Eithan mentions his new plan to help Alison and her mum after the appeal didn’t go to plan. And it was great that her mum mentioned that whilst it’s her life, she needs to find someone who makes her happy and treats her how she deserves to be treated, implying that it may well be Eithan. But Eithan at the moment is the last thing on her mind. As helen comes into the pub and encourages Alison to go on a work trip with Liam after revealing he has mentioned her before. The team surprisingly decided to let her go, and James mentioned that they needed to primarily focus on Liam due to never seeing him before. At the hotel itself, Liam mentioned about going under a new name, and during dinner alison opened up about how lip reading works, which is not ideal given the fact that she’s supposed to be getting clues, but laila also opened up about liam got into hacking, his work with Helen where Danny, the previous guy. “Quitting”, and also mentioned his foster parents. I must say though, I wasn’t ready for them getting closer in the bedroom department, but it was actually quite refreshing to see an intimate scene where we saw some vulnerability and also learning more about how being with someone who also has the same disability as you is more freeing. Ashleigh meanwhile got frustrated with alison for not contacting her sooner, but as alison mentioned why that was the case, she also fed back to what she found out when she saw Liam on his laptop. But with the mentioning of CCTV footage, she may have realised that her whereabouts could jeopardise the whole thing, not to mention that Ashleigh opened up herself about her ex boyfriend. After her meeting, Liam got her to show her lip reading talent again, accept this time with the target the police are investigating, which without realising may also ruin things further. And I was also not expecting Liam to plant a device on Alison, where he overheard everything which obviously made him furious, and even though he doesn’t realise it yet, I can see why James told her to stop seeing him. Braden was also putting poison in his ear, and Eithan invited Alison to the place of their first date revealing he wants her back, but Alison mentioned that it’s not that she wants more from him, but she also wants have some dependence on herself too which is understandable. But she needs to know where her true loyalties lie when Liam mentions the plan to steal a necklace which would give her and her mum a new life with him, and he even said something in British sign language to prove it. And based off of the trailer and where we started at the beginning of the series, something tells me it won’t end well.
Personal:
Exercise:
This week exercise for me took a slightly different turn. Along with feeling abit of nausea and also an injury I gained, it has definitely put a back pedal on my exercise. So going into next week, I would need to do some gentle exercises like walking, yoga and also focus on my upper body for now at least. But this week I still managed a decent time on the exercise bike, which was TIME. So still a pretty good time and definitely got myself a good sweat as seen below.
Surveys:
This week I managed to get some surveys done. This was more of a self care routine for me and a good distraction when I had my injury this week. And I managed to get rid of the surveys which I know won’t serve me best, which is also a massive bonus.
Short Stories:
I must say, this wasn’t one of my main tasks to do. But I’m glad I did it, as it helped me to just write and let the creative juices flowing. I don’t know when I’ll actually finish it, as it’s been a while since I posted my last short story, but all I can say is that letting some thoughts go in a creative manner is something to always enjoy.
Sister's birthday:
This week it was my sisters birthday. To celebrate, we had a meal at Prezzo in Lincoln, and it was delicious. I had a margarita pizza with a side of chips, and I had a delicious cheesecake to bring home afterwards. I can’t believe my sister is another year older! Seriously where has the time gone? And sometimes it’s little moments like this that are the special ones!
Darts:
This week I had two practices of the sport. Ideally I would’ve wanted more but after my injury (which I’ll mention in the challenging times and how I got through it), I thought it might be a bad idea. But as seen below, I still managed to get some good shots in.

Premier League of Darts:
This week I watched the final night of the Premier League of my favourite sport. Whilst I was abit disappointed that the player I wanted to win didn’t, it was still overall a brilliant way to end the tournament on a high. And I can also see why Luke Littler and Luke Humpheries are the top two players, but also show great sportsmanship for each other.
This Piano:
The final episode of this brilliant series ended on a high as the final concert took place. I certainly felt for Zak as it’s never easy going first. But after some extra practice, he opened the show on a high, and Diana left the audience, the pianists and even nearly me in tears with her piece supported by the quartet. Phil and Marcus’ duet went to plan, with their expressions saying it all, and Josiah's own composition paid off, despite the little time he had to write and rehearse it. Anisa also did well dedicating her piece to her grandad, with her smile and how she felt after saying it all, and Mia finished off the concert strong with he opera skills and her piece dedicating it to composers of her heritage. But I know that Diana would get the performance of the night, as the reaction from the audience said it all. And whatever happens, I hope that this show gives them the opportunities they thoroughly deserved.

The Assembly:
This week I watched another episode of the brilliant Q&A featuring the legend that is David Tennant. There were brilliant moments that made me howl, with one moment being one of the interviewers giving David a kiss, Sophie challenging David to a vogue dance off. And Luka doing an amazing piece from Macbeth with David (and Luka himself is so talented). There was also funny moments when Jacob asked about his skincare, and another question about being rejected from Taggart 16 times. But there were also heartfelt moments, including resins question about the trans community with David being an ally, his parents, his most scared moment, and how he felt on the first night he performed hamlet. That shows how open he is as a person, and how a little boost helped him foe the rest of his life. There was also a beautiful cover of “Sunshine on Leith” which ended the episode on a high!

Britain's Got Talent:
This week was an epic final to the show. Boy it had everything, and whilst I had my favourites to win it, I can see why the act that won did. But there have been other contestants who we’re definitely in the run in for the winning spot, although I didn’t agree with the choice for the wild card, as I thought that there were others who deserved a fair shot. But along with a brilliant performance from KSI himself and Tom Grennan, it’s safe to say the series has been nothing but exhilarating.

Gogglebox:
This weeks episode was a recap of everything the tele critics have watched so far this year. But there were also some memorable moments as well. These included Ellie and Izzi having a different opinion on their mugs, and David and Shirley talking all things restaurant. Abbie and Georgia wondered how they pronounce the word Quinoa, and I was wetting myself when they showed Lee giving Jennie new pants again. I also found it amusing when Giles mentioned the swear words used in his and Mary's calender, and it was funny how someone wolf whistled at Simon's audio description. I'm also Amira on wanting to pretend to be professional, and it was interesting on how Helena's partner likes Elton John, but George looked more like Prue Leith. The bits that were shown again included Red Panda on "Britain's Got Talent", and Megan prepping her guest room for her friend Daniel. "Last On Laughing" is a show I definitely need to watch, and the argument between Trump and Zelensky was definitely a highlight for the wrong reasons. I also remembered the horrible moment for Laurence in "Celebrity Bear Hunt", and "Love On The Spectrum" for obvious reasons was my favourite moment. I also loved going back to Abi and Carl's car park encounter in "Coronation Street", and "Secret Life of Penguins" was both heartbreaking and warming as I fully remembered.
Challenging Times & How I Got Through Them:
This week’s challenging times included having a family situation, which I won’t explain more on out of respect and privacy, but it had an impact for sure. But how we got through it is having a plan in place, and also preparing for the final stages. That had an impact on me personally, as it also left me problems with my eating along with that fact that because I was having a later lunch on my sisters birthday it left me having those feelings of anxiety and restriction of eating. But how I got through that was having something substantial but knowing it’s easy to get down. In this case a margarita pizza and I simply brought my dessert home. Another challenging moment was injuring my back at my day job, where it caused me a lot of discomfort meaning I had to take the day off and avoiding activities like Archery and going to the gym. But in order for it to not stiffen up, I made sure I did some gentle movement (walking gently and stretching gently), and also had other things to focus on within reason.
What have I learnt this week? In the words of yoga instructor Sarah Beth, I need to learn the other side of the coin.
