Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week saw me make a video for Neurodiversity Week, finally submitting my place for a festival taking place in the summer and starting the UK adaption if a show based on the US smash hit. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 16th March 2026.
Professional:
Story Fest:
This weeks work on StoryFest came to a close. For me instead of submitting a script, I decided to apply for being a reader (as I couldn’t submit for both of them). I know it was a risk, especially because the call-outs happened so soon, but I wrote from the heart when it came to writing a review of a film that got me inspired. Fingers crossed they like what they see and hopefully get selected to be on the panel!

Content Filming:
This week I filmed some content linking to the end of the first quarter of 2026. It was interesting shall we say, and I did have to improvise filming some of it. But with the in between bits out of the way, all I need to do is film the talking moment next week and edit it together. I even included this iconic gaming character here below, and I can’t wait to show you the important part he played in the sketch.

I also filmed something linking to Neurodiversity Week, where I talked about a film which I think is perfect for the week! It took me a while to get it done, but I’m glad with how it turned out! See the link below for the full video, and let me know if you saw this film!

Autism Acceptance Week 2026:
This week I continued my work in preparation for Autism Acceptance Week 2026. As I’m writing this I’m slightly behind on the tasks, as whilst the base for my blog version of the videos is nearly finished, I’m slightly behind on the videos themselves due to technical issues. Thankfully it’s all sorted, but my main task for the beginning of the week is to complete those videos, which I know I’ll get done! Don’t forget to make your donation to my JustGiving page below, and I can’t wait to show you the final result of these videos!

Acting Jobs:
This week I continued to apply for more acting stuff, on Spotlight, Mandy and through my acting classes Facebook page. One of the things I did was a video submission for a video which yes is unpaid, but it’s linked to something comedic and a potential collaboration with the organiser. Despite having to delete some jobs because it’s not for me after looking at them or knowing I don’t have the time to fill in the requirements needed, I’d say I’ve done pretty well to get where I am so far.
Acting Class:
This week was the final week of Stella Adler, where we performed our scenes from “Prisoners”. But not before we did some improvisation to get into the zone, and I got some good feedback on how to approach it the next time I learn about Stella Adler. When it came to the scenes, I really felt like I channeled my character well, showing that I am able to fill in big roles. I’m definitely going to refilm it though as visually they needed to see my face, and the shadow of my camera covered it slightly. But at least on a self tape I can adjust the audio and sound better. Overall the past few months of looking at Stella Adler has been insightful, and has taught me that I can do it!

Act On This Podcast:
This weeks podcast involved listening to the lovely Paushali Banik. I’ve heard her a few times on some Actors Pro Expo seminars, but it was good to hear what she’s been up to since the last time I listened to her, gaining all the tips and tricks to get on her radar. What a lovey lady to listen to, and with everything I’ve learnt, I’m definitely going to go back to my notes and reach out to her again, as it’s been a while since I did that!

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from 16th and 17th March. In this we saw Sam avoiding Nick on the inset day, wanting to revise whilst Megan takes on Susie's advice. It was long until Nina noticed Sam’s bad stated, also going noticed by Eva, soon collapsing when he spots Megan and Nick coming to find out. We then saw Nick reporting it to Leanne and Toyah, with Toyah being more open minded and Leanne suspecting something else. Will was soon finding this news out from Megan, which got him infuriated and Megan telling him not to come clean, taking matters into her own hands. At the hospital (where other than a bang to the head he was okay), Sam 2 was telling the family about the medication, and refusing to let them talk to the school. Leanne was then trying the more softer approach to get to the truth, with Sam still denying it. But it may look like it’ll come out, as Megan cams round, claiming she’s concerned, with her threatening him spotted by Leanne. And I tell you something, you do not want to mess with the Battersby. After Leanne was asking Alya about cover, she then had a tense conversation with Megan, who claims there’s been a lot of cases with ADHD medication. Daniel was coming into the cafe and asking Megan about Sam, who claimed it was a solution to help, and Will coming in to ask about him as well. It was nice of Bethany bringing a Rubix cube for him, with Nick reminding him he can tell them anything. All I can say was Bethany was impressed with the Rubix cube lessons from Sam, and Leanne got Sam revealing the truth when Eva came in, with Leanne believing him and Eva being uncertain. Back at the Roz Rovers, the Battersby sisters were talking about Sam, with Megan coming to a “family emergency” but only telling him half of the story. The crocodile tears certainly didn’t work, with Leanne and even Eva not being convinced. We then saw Will wanting to come with Megan following it, with the sisters plotting their plan. But that’s not the only drama. Lisa and her colleague were chatting about Mal, with Kit convinced there’s nothing. But Kit was about to be put to the test when Lisa checking in on Carla whilst announcing to kit there’s a witness. That witness was definitely convinced it was Kit, but he was soon flipping it around when he mentioned about his job and blackmailing him into keeping quiet. This led to Kit and Sarah chatting about the witness, questioning his motives, with Bethany walking into an awkward moment to make out it was about Sam. At the station, Lisa was asking Kit about the witnesses, and soon revealed Mal is awake. It then led to Kit visiting Mal, who gave a description of who attacked him, and I’m not sure if it’s his way of knowing it was him, but either way he’s still being a creep to Bernie even though she wasn’t around. For the solicitors, Alya was trying to persuade Adam to not take on Jenna Mackie. But she soon changed her tune when after getting a text from Rich, she was chatting with Sally about two jobs and the legal system, with a story from Mike Baldwin got her thinking. When Rich came to Speed Dahl, she standing her ground on Jenna Mackie, which I know after seeing spoilers is going to have fatal consequences. Alya was then convinced that she can take part when discussing with Adam about them taking Jenna, but something tells me it won’t end well. We also saw George losing hope following the fraud allegations, with Christina’s Taylor swift analogy not helping. It soon became more awkward when Theo came in to ask for his stuff. Todd taking over the phone calls had no luck, with George sensing his bad mood is because of Theo, with George and Christina giving him advice. After Todd found Theo with his stuff, Sarah met him at the bistro, but seeing Theo got Todd stressed again when seeing his date, but soon revealed it was a scaffolder (possibly as a way to get him under his control). Theo then came into Shuttleworths, with Todd clearly not over him and Theo giving him false hope (again to show he’s in control).
Hollyoaks:
This week saw a resident leave for a fresh start after a break out not going to plan, teen relationship drama and a decision to bring an important day forward, leaving one resident feeling on edge. Mondays episode saw Sully adamant that he’s getting out of prison. He may have needed to think again when the plan to get Lucas out goes into action, and when Rex and James came, he managed to convince him that Ste knew. But it didn’t last long, as after a short reunion, the truth about Ste not knowing soon came, prompting a final farewell from HayRay. It then led to a heartwarming conversation with Dillon and Vicky, who are first was unsure of why he wanted to go through with it, but explaining that Sully was threatening to kill him made her change her thoughts. And it looks like Sully will definitely be held in solitary confinement when Froggy manages to double cross him and make it clear he will kill him if he does anything like it again. There was then a tearful farewell, as Dillon and baby James made their move to Canada for a fresh start, and to be honest I don’t blame them after everything that’s happened. All I can say is a massive good luck to Nathaniel Drass on whatever adventures he has next, and I hope Gemma will be able to keep an eye on Vicky after Dillon secretly mentioned abo the weight loss jabs even though he said he’d keep quiet about it. Elsewhere, Diane’s Mother’s Day is not one they expected, as the teens are still angry about them lying about Dom despite not knowing the full truth, and because it could potentially be the last Mother’s Day, she wanted to have a mother daughter day with Eva, knowing that it could potentially be the last one with her. But something that Tony said (and I’ll use it in something I’ve learnt this week), got Diane to keep going and grab whatever time she has left. And Theresa talking about her sex life with Dodger soon changed when she helped Mercedes track down “Jake”, little knowing who she really is, and trying to persuade her to make things right with Warren after asking about her date with him. Little does she know that Warren has taken Jenson for a proper talking to. Tuesdays episode saw Diane and Tony go to London for a second opinion on her cancer diagnosis, leaving Dom in charge of things. But it didn’t get off to a good start when the teens were skiving off school, and Ant not having a foul mood, from both Trina wanting to forgive him and also because of what’s happened. I must say, Kathleen-Angel is turning into her mother personality wise when Dodger asks where she was going, and soon she said it how she was when finding Ant to talk about his attitude. Dom soon got wind of them skiving, but the two teens managed to avoid him after sleeping together!!!! Now I can only imagine how well that will go down when Ro finds out. But it’s not just the kids life that have been affected by Diane’s cancer diagnosis. Ste came back from America revealing Leah is in a foul mood because of him and Dillon, along with finding out about Lucas and Dillon, and also about Diane. This sparked his decision to bring the wedding forward, which made Rex feel uneasy. Mercedes was also hit with the news, which resorted into asking Gemma for more pills, claiming she felt guilty for surviving. But some wise words managed to get her off it, but Gemma was also concerned about Vicky after Dillon mentioned the pill’s situation whilst helping Frankie. Gemma also narrowly missed rex exploring with his identity when she came round for Froggy, asking advice on Vicky, with Rex claiming the bridal accessory was something he was going to throw away. And Warren had to get a second opinion when it came to Jenson, and soon found the letter, saving his life from an asthma attack. But with Mercedes lining for both Warren and Jenson, things are going to get VERY complicated. Wednesdays episode saw Rex and Ro have their own problems. Ro’s all started in the aftermath of Kathleen-Angel and Ant, where she accidentally sent a text to Dodger, ignoring Ant in the process. And her plan to delete the text went awry when Dodger revealed he already knew, and encouraged her to tell Theresa about it. As Kathleen-Angel expected, she wasn’t best pleased, and Dodger reminded her that Ant is underage, but was more concerned about her well-being. The teens meanwhile were helping out Dom at the Hutch when finding out they bunked off school, and Theresa’s promise to keep it cool didn’t go to plan, as she soon revealed about Ant and her daughter, upsetting Ro (presumably because I think he likes her). Red meanwhile was struggling with Ste’s decision to move it forward following finding out about Diane, convinced that they’re rushing it. But Leela made a valid point about how the village needs abit of positivity, and Ste also pointed out that a wedding after a funeral is not the best time. But soon he gave in, and it was a good job he had Ro by his side when questioning his identity. There was also tension between sisters Gemma and Vicky after the discovery of the weight loss jabs, convinced she needed them in order to go back to the agency. Gemma’s attempts to get Vicky to see the reality was not good, with Vicky making it clear that whether she gets prescription jabs or ones from online, she’s not going to stay on them anytime soon. If only Gemma would reveal the truth, then it would hopefully make Vicky's perspective change. Warren meanwhile was with Jenson in The Loft, talking about their childhood. This featured Jenson growing up in a single parent household, and revealing the real reason why he bought the night club in Liverpool, and it ended in the brothers having a fight after making a comment on Warren being like their dad. Jenson had abit of concern when he took out Warren, but they soon realised they had a lot more in common than then thought, with Jenson offering to re-launch The Loft. But I have a feeling there’s going to be a love square coming when warren introduces Mercedes to Jenson, who she knew as Jake.
Eastenders:
This week saw one resident finding her stride, a Slater patriarch returning to build bridges, and a new residents decision to seek some answers. Mondays episode saw the Beales and Fowlers come together for Mother’s Day, but not before Lauren’s attempt to sell a car to a customer failed, and it didn’t go unnoticed by Max. I’m surprised that he admitted about going overboard when he bought the business, and even more surprised when he said she doesn’t need to ask for permission to sell the cars, showing that he is really trying to be a better dad. But it didn’t last long when Lauren’s nan Cora came to visit, and I must say I love her personality. But Max ended up getting kicked out after saying too much, which wasn’t surprising. Mark then gave Lauren an offer which Cora noticed her unease. But after a picture with her great grandchildren, she encouraged Lauren to go for it and soon took on Marks proposal. But I have a feeling things will get a little bit dangerous… we also saw the return of Jean coming home, claiming she’s throwing all negativity away. At first it seemed like she was going to break her promise, but after overhearing Zoe talking to Kat, and Alfie reminding her after she gossiped about her again, the two came to a common ground, respecting their views on Jasmine, with Jean offering support to her after some lessons from her therapist. Never thought I’d see the day that Jean and Zoe Slater would get on! And whilst Phil have Sam and theory on how you die twice when being reminded of Peggy, Bea dragged herself into Linda’s and Elaine’s Mother’s Day lunch at the Vic after Linda invited her in the mini mart, replacing a bottle Bea broke. During the lunch they were talking about her still strained relationship with Johnny. And Elaine was right to accuse her of freeloading, as later on, she had the audacity to take out some money under Honeys name. Tuesdays episode saw Lauren get to work on Marks proposal, and so far she’s getting her stride back, although Priya does have doubts about Mark after talking about Ravi heading back to the gym, whilst Phil reminds him to do his job running the gym. Even though Max has doubts about Priya, it meant a lot to Lauren that she has her stride back. But it looks like her good luck may run out, and it all states with Callum revealing that the car had been found, and Lauren being advised by Max to go with her gut led her to find Mark and Sonny. He certainly has alot of explaining to do. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman asking questions for Kim and Denise questioning her, soon revealing to be Sandra, the adoptive mother of Josh, Anthony’s biological son. Sandra’s journey to giving Jasmine away for Denise sympathetic, and knowing that their door is always open. Josh meanwhile made himself feel at home in the Albert, but a misunderstanding saw him getting kicked out by Cindy, and Sandra gave her a tough talking to. Elsewhere, Penny was wanting Vinny to tell Suki the truth about the baby, but immediately Suki already disagreed with his choice in woman, so never got round to actually telling her about the baby. But Penny could see that he did try, and allowed him to wait until the next day. But jack coming in and inviting Suki and Eve for lunch got him revealing the truth sooner. Ooops. And Bea was surprised to see Billy and the kids come early, with Honey staying out for a family emergency, soon getting herself a job at McKlunky's. I have a feeling though that Billy may also suspect her of being a freeloader just like Elaine said sooner! Wednesdays episode picked up where we left off from. Lauren was obviously distraught by her findings, and queried his intentions and the consequences not only for the two of them, but for Max as well. But that had to wait, as she and Peter had a meeting with a mum from a specialist nursery for children like Jimmy, and were keen to make an offer. And Peter explaining the facilities when Ian asked why they couldn’t look at mainstream was understandable, and Max and jack both chipped in to help with the fees. Ian eventually also helped, spreading word in at the chippy too. Lauren’s decision to take Marks offer was confirmed after getting advice from Penny and Peter revealing he wanted to go back to personal training. But I wonder what Max will think when he spots her and Mark talking? Elsewhere, Suki made it clear to penny on her feelings towards her, but good on Vinny for finally stepping up to her, making his decision clear and even though it’s a mother wanting what’s best for her child, he is also an adult too, so I’m hoping that they’ll find some common ground for the baby’s sake. Elsewhere, Kim and Denise getting to know Sandra and Josh got off to a good start, but the subject of Zoe soon got them going. And Patrick eventually learnt the truth, claiming it’s for the best that he didn’t come back. But a call from Sandra got Kim and Denise going round to their flat, and soon things were back on track. With the news that they’d be moving to Southend to be close to Sandra’s mother, I wonder if Josh would stay or decline to meet Zoe (although after seeing spoilers I think I know the outcome). And Harvey was warning Billy about Beas intentions whilst Honey was away, which did get him on high alert. Finally, Thursdays episode saw slowly breaking his good streak again. And it all started with a simple gesture to collect Linda’s laundry, and stepping up for her when Johnny neglects her after they had some lunch with Annie. Lauren is also not happy with Max when he tells Mark to back off, with Linda still seeing the good in him. But Elaine was right to warn her to tread carefully after mentioning him being alone in The Albert. And I can only imagine her fury when she sees him and Cindy getting close again, and the cheek of Max for claiming he changed his ways. Elsewhere, Penny was understandably upset that Vinny couldn’t get Suki on side, so Penny took matters into her own hands and made it clear to her that whether she’s on side or not, they will still have the baby. Meanwhile, Will confided in Bea about a college trip which he didn’t want to hassle Billy and Honey about, and also because it’s linking to a girl. So Bea decided to get him a job at Harry’s barn, and I didn’t believe her tears when Billy had a go at her. And Kim and Denise saw the letter Patrick wrote to Josh, and after a visit to see Sandra with a glass of terrible wine, Josh came to the decision to read it. I thought at first Sandra had other intentions, but I think I was wrong, claiming that the bond between the two will never break. Josh soon told Kim and Denise the great news, making a joke about their age when mentioning of a uni night, and something tells me things will get tricky when he bumps into Oscar…
Cooper & Fry:
This week I watched the first season of the channel 5 drama starring Rob James-Collier and Mandip Gill. Episode 1 was in a farm with box Nikolai meeting a man called Alex Barcroft. We then saw care resident Raymond panicking in the garden whilst one of Nikolai’s workers finds a dead body. Before the case, we first saw DC Ben Cooper coming in to find his mum passed out, who’s clearly an alcoholic. We then got a glimpse of DC Diane Fry moving into her new house, getting a suspicious text from “Dave”, clearly running away from something. Copper’s day was off to a bad start when he missed out on the door, whilst DI Paul Hitchens and DS Tom Eland welcomed Diane, jumping straight in on the case, with Hitchens wondering why she came from Leeds. This resulted in getting Ben to find out. Diane then had the offer of meeting Tracey Garnett, an intelligence officer, and Eland was giving a briefing, with Diane asking about forensics. Once the briefing was over, Diane was looking at a memorial plaque, and Ben was then asking about why she came to Edendale when reintroducing himself. But he was soon meeting Alex, with Diane finding out of their connection, but a trench got her wondering. At the farm, Diane noticed a unique smell, with Ben wanting to check the house, slowly asking Diane why she moved as they searched. She claimed that she fancied a change, with Ben mocking her quoting a social media inspiration. But the banter had to stop when Diane spotted dodgy accounts, whilst a sound of clattering got them to a room linking linking to bens mums interest. Soon enough though Diane giving chase to a young girl in the form of Cara Doyle, with Ben giving her the information whilst dr Taylor gives forensics, revealing that their left hand is missing. We then saw worker Nikolai Dudzik getting questioned by Ben and Diane, revealing he wishes he didn’t take the job. They were soon meeting Raymond Carlisle and assisted by nurse Danielle, with Ben asking questions and then Diane stepping in with a different approach, revealing his brother is Derek and revealed he walked away and getting overwhelmed. Danielle was then explaining Raymond’s condition, whilst also being asked about his time on the farm, hesitant on getting in touch. Ben and Diane were then making a summary, with Diane suggesting to see Cara. The two did just that, but she soon denied everything, but then revealed she was there as she had no where to stay, with Ben believing she’s good and wanted to rely on the DNA match. Tracy back at the station was seen offering Diane cake as a first day tradition, which she denied it and stated she had plans, with Ben mocking her and soon saw an article on Raymond and his scheme with red diesel and insisted everyone is fine. The two were then going to The Slaughtered Ram and meeting owner Roy Palfreyman and asked about Raymond, who revealed Derek’s violent past and asked about the red diesel, which he thought it was funny. Ben was then getting a call from Dr Taylor to give more stuff on the body, and also found another body where the head was missing, and Nikolai having a phone call that was suspicious. The two were then going back to the care home with Danielle asking not to disturb his routine, but a clue on a name called Billy brought back something, with Ben claiming he has everything. Diane was then grilling Ben about undermining her, but used the tale of the screaming skull to think that Billy is the headless body. We then saw Roy Palfreyman coming back to ask about screaming Billy, who showed “screaming Billy” was a simply bird, but was also checking in on Ben. They were then visiting his mum Isobel, claiming she can identify the body. It also gave chance for Diane looking through bens memory book whilst Ben is helping his mum. Isobel then gave the definition, and saying that whoever killed Billy is also dead, using it to look at the missing hand and recalling the stuff in Tanglewood farm. Ben and Diane then reported their findings with Hitchens and Eland, confused of the hypothesis, seeing it in a different light and reporting back on the accounts, and the two having friction on the hypothesis. But they had to put their friction aside, as Ben and Diane met Alex to report on the second body and asked him about Raymond’s payment from him, sparking suspicions from Diane and he eventually revealed he had first refusal, and asked about who Roy employed, leading to Nikolai getting interviewed. Nikolai then mentioned that Raymond employed him to do a job, and also got asked about Cara, which brought back memories of his daughter, and claimed that the two murders were evil. After his interview, Nikolai found Cara, claiming she didn’t tell the police but soon got some instructions to go to Hogtail Woods, soon getting shot. Dr Taylor then got forensics on Nikolai and the two searching his vehicle, with Diane finding a strand of Cara’s hair. Hitchens and eland were then giving a briefing and Tracy wanting soil analysis, with Ben taking the blame for they soil analysis. We then got Eland inviting Diane to drinks and Ben joining them, finding a common ground between the pair. Diane also noticed something linking to bens traditions, followed by him asking why Diane is really here, claiming it’s tricky in Leeds and he soon got agitated when his dad “Barrel” came to light, meaning he must still be grieving for his dad. Diane then claimed a mate was checking in on her when in fact it was Dave. At the station, she was then looking at Bens father, only for him to not be authorised. She then had the soil analysis whilst Tracy brought Ben to see Alex Barcroft to break the news. I thought it was really nice of Tracy looking after Diane whilst she had a cold, and also revealed the cause of “Barrels” death and why they were needing to tread carefully, whilst also revealing the real reason why there’s always a spare pint. Because of his job, Ben was unable to say anything to Alex, whilst Diane’s medicine got her asking about if crystal meth was made at the farm, and Tracy was showing CCTV footage and caught Cara, who had a picture in her usual place. We then saw Cara getting interviewed and convinced she didn’t kill Nikolai, and the clues got her to reveal her brother Tommy, explaining the meaning of the necklace and their past in drugs. Diane and Ben were then looking at what they found so far, using the holy hand analogy to see if Raymond was involved in Tommys death. This resulted in them back to the house, where Diane mentioned something which got Ben knowing where the hand was, only to find belongings of Derek, realising he may not have left. It then got them thinking that Derek could be the other victim, confusing Ben and Diane wondering if roy was lying, resulting I. Tracy giving background on Roy. It then led to the two going to visit him again and Ben backing up Diane, but soon backing off. It was then that Ben was realising he’s missing something, and something Roy said went back to Lowbridge and used the screaming skull analogy to find a box with a head. We then saw Raymond getting interviewed and Ben using a different tactic, where Raymond admitted he killed him but kept the head due to the curse, and said nothing but good things about Nikolai and took the head to be close to his brother. Diane soon gave a report whilst Ben got some forensics from Tommy whilst discussing who killed Nikolai, and something he said got him wondering who was the killer. And he managed to get that question answered, as a peep through the window got Danielle in the firing line. Tracy then got asked about Daniele, who was Alex’s daughter and reported the findings but being refused a warrant, and the two suggested an alternative. Whilst on the hunt, Ben and Diane were talking about Leeds whilst searching for Alex. They eventually followed him to the place, but were stopped by Danielle when going to call it in and revealed she organised it all. Alex interfering with her resulted in a chase, with Diane saving bens life and catching Danielle. The father and daughter were then getting interviewed, resulting in them being locked away and the mystery solved. Ben and Diane were praised for the case, and Diane also praised him for what he did. The end of the episode then saw Ben seeing Isobel and reflecting on his dad, whilst Diane keeps getting calls and messages from Dave.
Agatha Christie’s 7 Dials:
This week I watched the first episode of a show based on the queen of mystery. Episode 1: "Bundle of Love" started in Ronda I. 1920, seeing a man in the form of Lord Caterham getting killed by a bull, with a clue left behind. We then came to1925, seeing Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, who got interrupted by her ma Lady Caterham when a guy impresses her, with guest Oswald talking about George Lomax. Bundle then came across her friends Ronnie Devereux and Bill Eversleigh, wondering about why they were wearing the masks. After meeting guest Socks, Bundle then came across the man who spotted her in the form of Gerry Wade, asking her out at her request when talking about her brother Tommy, but an important question got interrupted by George Lomax himself, who gave Gerry a telling off for not staying by Lady Coote's side. After Bill and Ronnie were placing the clocks in Gerry’s room (which was linking to a joke about how Gerry never wakes up to the alarm), Jimmy Thesiger was talking about his talents whilst Gerry tried to woo Lady Coote which didn’t go to plan. Eileen and Gerry were then dancing the night away but soon breaking away when midnight keeping an eye on the guests before she called it a night. The following morning dad everyone feeling hungover whilst Ronnie joked how Gerry will sleep through anything when Lady Coote noticed it, only got Treadwell and Bundle to come upstairs and finding Gerry dead. The detectives then came through, suspecting Gerry taking sleeping drafts and Bundle refusing to believe it along with the idea that he killed himself. We then saw Bill giving his side of the story followed by new detective coming in, disgusting Ronnie and Eileen revealing his plans with her. She then noticed the clocks on the mantle piece, only to be interrupted by Treadwell. Whilst Bundle spotted the Cootes and maid Emily, Jimmy comes in to confirm the death of Gerry, praising him in the process. We then saw Lady Caterham with Oswald and the Cootes, reminding him of an agreement and praising their Bateman Thomas, who knew Gerry. Oswald was then talking to Bateman about Caterham, sparking suspicions from Bundle, whilst back in the bedroom, she saw Gerry’s reflection in the mirror, noticing the clocks and searching the room. But searching for clues in the draw became too much for her which was acknowledged by Lady Caterham, soon finding a letter to Loraine and 7 dials. Bundle was then asking her ma about 7 dials, where she advised not to look into it further, whilst bundle refused to believe he killed himself, and a comment from her ma got Bundle wondering if he was going to propose, wanting to get to the bottom of it. Lady Caterham then stated about Emily talking to Lady Coote, which got her suspicious whilst putting flowers on her fathers grave. In the garden, Bundle saw another clock on the lawn, speaking to Ronnie about it and revealed he hid the clocks that night (hence the joke on Gerry sleeping through anything) and how there were 8 with one being moved wanting to find the truth, inviting him to the inquest to get justice. Bundle was then speaking Treadwell about Gerry’s sleeping arrangements, then going to Emily about her conversation with Lady Coote, to reveal her true personality and doing everything for her when the father died. Emily was convinced the bottle of sleeping draft was taken, with Bundle reporting it back to Ronnie, spotting someone to actually meet Lady Coote. After she avoided the topic of the sleeping draft, she ended up showing Ronnie the letter, making it clear that he dint want to be part of it. But Bundle then explained how Gerry helped his brother in a time of need, with Ronnie eventually looking into it. Whilst he was doing that, Bundle was following the man they spotted earlier, heading to the phone box and revealed he got a call from Scotland Yard. She then decided to tell her ma of her journey to find out the cause of Gerry's death, refusing to let her go, but gave in due to being like her father. I think she was right to warn her, as Tredwell came in for a note with a threatening note for Bundle, only for Bundle to find Ronnie shot on her way to London, blurting out Jimmy's name.
We Might Regret This:
This week I started the second series of the drama where as a disabled person myself I really connected with. Episode 1 saw Freya working on a commercial, and clearly masking her dislike when some directions from the director on her facial expressions came to play. After the shoot, two Olivia’s made a joke, where they wanted to collaborate after noticing her “engagement ring”, convinced they’re wanting to do it for representation. Freya was then coming home to see Abe revealing Levi is moving in and looking for a job (but still being his usual manic self), with Freya secretly missing Jo. Levi was then asking about Ty and Abe getting along followed Jo, in which Freya was convinced it’s what Jo does. Jo meanwhile was trying on dresses for her French boss who is linked to an interesting job. Later on, Freya was reporting to Abe on the “engagement”, liking the idea of a long engagement and wanting her part, but Abe was reminding her of the elements of a wedding, interrupted by Ty. The two then came to meeting bean, explaining her interesting life story and to help with her dress, with some interesting choices and after having anchovies, found one signaling her aura. After the search, Levi and Freya talked about why Jo left, with Levi making a joke linking to a bad name whilst needing to get Jo back, with Ty interrupting them with shrunken socks and thinking she has a connection with Levi. We then saw Jo going to a party whilst the Olivia’s meet Abe, then reporting to Freya on Bean and suggesting the couple be in on the campaign, which will help Freya with her art, whilst Jane came round to bring me I some stuff, soon revealing she’s writing a interesting book. After a thorough talk, Abe and Jane agreed to the idea whilst Levi and Freya were unsure, bringing back memories of Jo. I quite liked how Ty spotted a look the director wanted at the beginning of the episode, and at the house Jo reporting back to another female friend of what he wants to “offer”. I’m interested to see how the friendship rebuilds again after Freya meets Jo through find my phone, talking about their lives and how levi is missing her. And I think I knew the answer when Freya invited Jo for a drink. Episode 2 saw Freya and Jo meeting for that coffee, and Ty trying to play peacemaker didn’t help, and the two ended up arguing about Levi and Freya was reminding her if the past. We then went to the Summer of 2021, with the two arriving in London and Jo setting up a dating profile, with passenger Barb asking about it, where Aperol Spritz being the save words to use as a way to get out of it. We then Freya being moved from the plane, with stares from everyone after previously being frustrated because she’s a wheelchair user. We then saw Freya going speed dating, using a safe word numerous times. Everyone was then going to the unlucky horse to see people dressed as Smurfs, with one asking Freya some very extreme questions. The morning after then got her wondering if she’ll end up lonely, with Jo saying she’s there for her, and turned down the visit to see her grandma. The present then revealed that Jo was secretly annoyed about her not seeing her grandma and talking about her needs being first, claiming that she wanted her to go and didn’t want to make her. Whilst Abe was looking at ties, with Levi questioning his intentions m, Ty was reminding Freya of Abe’s plans, who claims to want to help boost her art career, with Levi wondering if it’s just for the socials and getting roped into filming. But greats shock soon came when Jo revealed her grandma died the day she didn’t go, going back to the moment it happened. We then saw in the pst Jo meeting Abe at the local, and finding out he’s Freya’s date and using the safe words to convince her he’s a walking red flag. But it didn’t work, and soon and getting to know each other, later finding out that Jo was gone. The present then saw that Freya would’ve done things differently, whilst Abe was having the shoot, with directions from the Olivia’s and stumbling over the words, followed by mistaking Freya for someone else. Jo then revealed she was struggling to do something with her life, with Freya encouraging her to take up writing again, then voicing that she was wanting more communication, in which Jo was then telling her to be less selfish. After Ty was trying to cause a distraction, they soon discovered the planned proposal, with Freya initially turning it down and wanting Jo back in her life. Then Abe made a heartfelt proposal in which she accepted, and whilst the dancers were doing their thing, I can’t wait to see how Jo and Levi find that connection again.
Personal:
Exercise:
This week was a challenge exercise wise (and I’ll explain more in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them) but I managed to give 100% into what I had. These included the bike where 14mins roughly when I got to 10k on Monday, and 13mins 9 secs when I got to 10k on Saturday. I did what I could at my local gym, and also did plenty of yoga, which definitely helped relax me.
Cooking:
This week I made a traditional lasagna. This was the pure definition of comfort food, and for my family, we love big portions. It was honestly so nice to make something so tasty, especially when you haven’t had it in so long. By far this was the best thing I’ve made since the start of the year, proving that less really is more!
Surveys:
This week I did some more surveys. I won’t lie, I could’ve done more, but at least I did an extra day, even if I didn’t get any points on the board. So abit like a few weeks ago, I would say I gave about 20% into this form of activity. But 20% is better than 0%.
Darts:
This weeks practice saw me hit double 2 after 1 bust score and 15 missed match darts, and double 5 with 25 left to score. You could say it was two completely different sessions, so you can imagine my relief when I hit that double 5. But all in all it was a really good practice, and the more I finish a match, the more confident I’m getting!
Premier League of Darts:
This week the premier league came to the Irish capital that is Dublin. Despite Josh Rock still not racking any points, there has been some good game. Both Michael Van Gerwan and Luke Littler scored 170 to finish, and Luke Littler himself won the night after being 5-0 down to Gerwyn Price. I do hope Gian Van Veen recovers for next week, as what had I’m sure wasn’t nice.
Gladiators:
This week I watched the first semi-final of the iconic gameshow, and wow there was a lot to see. “Suspension Bridge” saw Naomi win against Fury, being the first contender to win the event, and “The Wall” saw both female contenders slipping away. “Collision” saw Finn getting the wrong ball and Ella not beating her score, and “Everest” saw Cyclone battle both Ella and Naomi (even though Naomi was meant to go against Fury). But panic came when after being beaten by Hammer, Mo sustained an injury, where sadly he couldn’t continue. I’m just glad Hammer was showing compassion, knowing how hard hitting an injury can be. In his place we saw school teacher Tyler take over, but his run on “Hang Tough” against Nitro didn’t last long, and Finn was slipping alot in that event. But Naomi was able to beat Comet for the first time, and it led her to getting her spot in the final booked during “The Eliminator”, where her and Tyler both booked their spots in the final. If that’s only the first one, I can’t wait to see what the second semi final has in store.

Britain's Got Talent:
This week I watched more of the ultimate variety show. With Simon Cowell being unwell for the first part, guest judge Stacey Solomon took his place, and what a brilliant addition she was! There was also a huge load of talent, the skate squad got off to a flying start (literally), and 12 year old James Miller may be small, but wow he had powerful lungs after taking on a Wicked Classic. Aqua Company did a brilliant dance routine, and Fab Fox from Austria has KSI hooked when he did teleportation! The Hawkstone Farmers Choir got Amanda Holden in tears and got the golden buzzer, showing how a choir is also a good form of self care, especially when you work in agriculture like the members! When Simon Cowell came back after having a bump to his head, there was more talent on the way. I had to skip through an act knowing it wouldn’t be great, but Simon’s advice to keep practicing was definitely shown by school girl Nancy, who may only be 12, but her skill set on the drums were second to none. There was also a Harry Potter style act which for me personally, I wouldn’t see again, and the end of the Birmingham auditions was seen on a high by Anastasiia and her dog salsa, who did a beautiful dance routine. Now a lot of people would be like “oh that’s too easy”, no it’s not, as if you have a dog like mine who refuses to stop barking, you’d know, and training a dog to dance whilst having an audience to say hello to takes a lot of skill. It’s safe to say that the Brummie auditions had everything and anything.

Saturday Night Live UK:
This week I watched the first episode of the show based on the American smash hit. I’ll be honest because it’s the first episode I need to watch more to help me get fully into it. But I enjoyed the sketches, from one inspired by the prime ministers news, to one based on Williams Shakespeare, they had it all. I did like “David Attenborough’s Last Supper”, and the “Live Paddington Bear Experience” did leave me feeling uneasy but in a good way. It was good to see appearances from Graham Norton, Rege Jean-page and Nicola Coughlan, and I can’t wait to see the next one!

Gogglebox:
There were more shenanigans from the armchair critics! Mary was berating Charles for his use of mugs and cups (which I found quite funny), and David was finding it funny how Shirley was getting her landmarks in France confused. Pete was talking to Sophie about who’s getting his wife a present for mothers day, and Amani was wanting Anita’s opinion on her outfit for Eid. Jane was showing Simon her new water bottle, and Izzi was reporting to Ellie on their auntie Margaret’s “death clean”. And Pete was talking about his dogs recent haircut, and Lee was telling Jenny about how steve talked about alcohol being the enemy. They also watched some shows that had anything and everything. “Wheel of Fortune” saw a round of curious collectives and celebrity second jobs, with Daniel winning and Nicole making a error that costed her, and “Married At First Sight Australia” saw Mel and Luke having awkward tension, with some tasks seeing red flags from Mel. “LOL: Last One Laughing” saw reigning champ Bob Mortimer trying to defend his title, but got caught out when one of the comedians lifted him, making me and the Goggleboxers laugh, and “I Swear” saw the true story of John Davidson and his journey with Tourette’s, with caretaker Tommy showing him kindness, making two of the Goggleboxers cry. “BBC Breakfast” saw content creators replacing food critics, with well known food critics having different opinions, and the final of “The Summit” took place, with Dockers slipping and coming back after his cocky attitude was taken aback. Finally, “Boarders” saw a break in which resulted in the school going into lockdown, and Toby getting caught by Yelena, convinced it’s a rival school that did it, and Toby finding out Abbies secret after a night of passion (which made me really excited for when I watch it), and “Melania” saw her life in the build up to a celebration, which to be honest I don’t think the Goggleboxers were clearly that interested.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
This week the main challenge I faced was being on my time of the month. This one felt much worse I’ll admit, and it did slow me down quite a lot to the point where I was getting fatigued easily. But throughout it I managed to give 100% into what I had, which is all anyone could do really. And it’s better than not doing anything at all. I also had an issue with my nerves this week, as one side of my body, particularly my hand, felt like a little bit of sensation went missing, but by the time I got to the end of the week, I think I found the root cause of it which was a previous nerve in my shoulder, and ended up going on r Google again, which certainly didn’t help. But the important part was I made it through the week, the feeling has much improved, and in the words of the legend that is Sir Elton John, I’m still standing.
What have I learnt this week? You can’t control if you live or die, you can only control the journey. That is a good lesson, as being a hypochondriac, I need to learn to not jump to conclusions straight away, like the stiffness in my hand.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
