Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This addition saw me rehearsing for an event I’m doing (which was a lot of hard work), making the best out of a bad situation, and my sister having a party in the build up to her next birthday. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 18th May 2026:
Professional:
Content Posting:
This weeks content included temp parts of when I went to London to watch Paddington the musical. I’m very happy with how they turned out, and I’m glad I got them posted. Please see the links below if you haven’t seen them already.

Rehearsing:
This week I had my first proper meet up with my group for the event on 29th May. We managed to do a warm up, read through the scripts and got a good idea on how we want the scenes to go about. I know there’s a lot to do, but I’m really looking forward to it. As it’s a week off from my day job, this makes it even more exciting, and I can’t wait to put it on the attention and also see some other amazing performances.
Act On This Podcast:
This weeks podcast was with accountant Glyn Jelley. This talked about the benefits of being self employed, even if you’re not earning money from your acting career, and how you can claim money back with the expenses in your career. This is something I DEFINITELY need to get onto, as not only will it give me some money I can offset against my “proper job”, but it will definitely help me treat myself as a business. And I may take up Glynn offer he put out, knowing that Ross wouldn’t bring anyone on if they weren’t legit.

Coronation Street
This week I watched more of the show set in the fictional town of Weatherfield 11th saw The Driscolls finding the safe empty, accusing Sean, with Ben revealing he lost his temper at him and Will was asking what’s going on. Whilst that was happening, Sam invited Hope to the Red Rec and not wanting to miss a meteor shower, who then offered to bring alcohol which he declined. Soon to be confronted by Will (or was he?). At the cab office, Steve was wanting to check in on Ben, teasing Tim on the emojis, with Sally coming in and checking in on the two, soon asking about Trisha. Later on, Will and Megan met in secret, who found out about Will taking the money but let’s him off. After Ben got a text from Steve and Eva asking him if he took the money, they soon asked Will and lost his temper. I can understand why Sean took offence to accusing him whilst Steve was there, and later on Ben confided in him about everything, with making a suggestion of Tim taking him, soon finding some humour. Sam then saw Will again whilst Ben apologised to Sean whilst Will gets ready for Scotland, with Susie not wanting him to go. At the Platts, Jodie overheared David and Shona talking about her, with Shona wondering if her and David was intentional. David was then reporting it to Nick, with him making a comment and Jodie herself ringing round for places to stay, with Shona feeling guilty in the process. For the Barlow clan, Ken was debating whether to ring Daniel, showing what Bertie learnt about poetry, little did they know that he’s still in the flat. Later on, Ken was at the bistro, with Jodie chatting to him and was soon breaking into his house and hiding when Ken and Amy and Bertie head back in (why I’m still unsure). And the murder investigation was continuing, as Kit reported his findings to Lisa, teasing him about his aftershave and was soon asking him about Sarahs thoughts about Theo. Meanwhile, Todd and Christina were having a drink in the Rovers to reflect on things, with Kit and Lisa also coming in for a drink, impressed by Sean’s French and also gave him a clue to the case, which made Todd lose his temper. 12th saw Tim trying to make conversation with Will about the temporary traffic lights, and soon got edgy after a conversation brought up on delayed trains. Being the writer parent he is, Ben was trying to get hold of Will, spotting Maggie’s unease, soon getting a notification on Will's trading string cancelled. Eva was then reporting it to Leanne, with Susie revealing she saw Will take the money. Ben was then seen going to the cab office to ring Will, ordering Steve to text Tim about Will's true intentions, wondering if it’s too late. At Victoria gardens, Sam and Hope were looking at the damage of the telescope, with Leanne spotted it whilst Tim made out he got a text about “an alert”, slowly dropping the conversation about Megan and talking about his experience with Trisha. Soon Will clocked what the texts were really about, whilst Leanne and Sam showed Toyah the telescope, revealing what Sam saw and revealing Will stole the money. Soon Tim eventually took Will to the police station, encouraging him to report her for what she really is, whilst Sam was confiding in Hope about what he saw, and the comment got him losing his temper. It looked like it was the beginning of the end for Megan, as Will found his family relieved to see him. Meanwhile, Todd was still frustrated, with Christina reminding him to calm down whilst Kit and Lisa talked about the case. And Jodie was going into Daniel’s flat, only to find him in there, making out Ken’s spare key was found on the pavement, soon making a threat. Daniel made it clear that Jodie was not allowed to stay, talking about her work as a nanny and mentioning the situation with Shona and her “misunderstanding with David”. But pretty soon he was then opening up to her about Megan, with Jodie revealing about her and David, with Daniel suspecting she likes him, soon apologising for letting herself in, reluctantly letting her stay. Finally, 13th saw Nick teasing Toyah about her shower habits whilst waving off Sam to school, with Hope reporting to Sam about Will, losing his temper. At the Rovers, Eva was reporting to Will about the school, but was wanting to still sit his exams, with Maggie praising her and blaming himself. Ben and Eva continued to remind him it’s Megan’s fault, and soon suggested not going to Scotland, which put more pressure on Maggie, suggesting to give it a few days before telling Melanie about Scotland. Whilst that was happening, Tim was reporting to Sally about Trisha, who supports him when he goes to see Trisha at her workplace, and Megan as shortly getting interviewed where Lisa revealed that Will gave a statement, whilst Sam and Hope see the police, thinking he might be a hero for putting Megan away, but it only scared him even more. Back at the station, Megan made out that Will was lying whilst Tim goes to see Trisha, wanting 5 minutes in of his time. At the Rovers, Ben was catching Will wanting to go on a run, who revealed they’re questioning Megan, feeling guilty but Will was thinking that she still loved her, but felt even more heartbroken whilst he revealed that Megan only booked 1 ticket for herself. Soon enough Megan got charged and refused bail whilst Tim finally talked things out with Trisha, who denied everything. Tim then came home to report to Sally about the conversation, but was content for being honest he talked things out, thanking Sally for supporting him. At the Bistro, Toyah was coming in to check in on Sam, with Nick saying he’s not right, and a comment on the police got Sam walking away. Whilst that was happening, Ben and Eva were talking about Will, only to be interrupted by Lisa to mention about Megan, with Ben wondering if it’s enough, overheard by Will. And we got to see the extent of Sam’s mental health when he was being confronted by Will, only to have it all in his mind. The real Will caught Ben doing tax returns, who revealed he overheard everything and wondered if it was too late for him to be fixed, soon breaking down. For the murder investigation, Kit bumped into Gary, taunting him about his name coming up, stating he doesn’t like bullies and was okay with a search warrant. Kit did just that, coming to the builders with the warrant, whilst Jodie was visiting Shona, not revealing who she’s really staying with. She was then going back to Daniel's, who revealed about getting an interview and Megan’s being arrested, with the two recalling past relationships and giving him advice, letting her stay abit longer.
Hollyoaks.
This week saw the aftermath of an emotional death, a new romance on the cards and brothers at war. Mondays episode saw the aftermath of Diane’s passing, which had a real impact on the family. The teen’s relationship was strained when Ro revealed how he knew that Diane didn’t have long left, and they were all fuming when Tony left them for ages, having to call the GP and having to tell everyone with Leela taking care of them. And Tony trying to help Ste with the oven at The Hutch pushed him to breaking point. It was then that Beth soon offered Darren a shoulder to cry on after talking about Jonah’s ex wife/her best friend, and it looked like the start of a truce between the siblings. But that’s not the only drama happening. Charlie was still consumed in guilty following the accident and the reveal of everything, and despite Frankie telling him to not do anything yet following Diane’s death, he still went to the police station to hand himself in, with Honeywell being more harsher than Dodger (who was more sympathetic and was wanting to approach it the gentle way) before the interview. Elsewhere, Theresa was “making dinner” for the Hutchinson’s, and I’m glad that her relationship with Kathleen-Angel is improving, knowing that life is too short following Diane’s death, and Prince is in serious trouble when the use of steroids resulted in him getting owed some money… Tuesdays episode saw drama within the McQueen household, and that is all down to Warren suspecting that Jenson has an ulterior motive. Whilst paying his respect and calming Ant down (still grieving for Diane and blaming Mercedes for the family’s problems), Warren made it clear he doesn’t want him in the village (purely from the mindset of if he can’t have Mercedes nobody can), and after catching Prince out of taking money from Casa McQueen and opening up about his mum dying it cancer, he gave the money to Prince, knowing he needed it more. Whilst Jenson did a kind gesture from Mercedes linking to toys for the Maria’s, I think Warren was taking things to a creepier level when he installs a camera in the house. There was more drama in the case, as Charlie was getting interviewed by the police of the crash, and Frankie declared that she loved Caleb for who he was, before handing herself into the police to change her statement, knowing it’s the right thing encouraged by Vicky. Vicky herself meanwhile was released from the hospital, and was immediately teased by Misbah (in a good way) about her feelings for Prince. It soon got tense when Charlie was trying to apologise, and Prince lost his temper with him. That was purely down to the steroids, and it led to a heart to heart between the pair. They then revealed how they really felt about each other, and a lovely kiss made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Prince offering to help Vicky with the salon. He was also wanting to find answers after their kiss, and after chatting with Charlie, I think she made her feelings for Prince clear. And with a little help from Myra after teasing her nephew, it worked. But I respected Vicky for making it clear he needed to get off the steroids first, so at least he has a goal to focus on. There was more drama in the McQueens as Warren went to visit Spencer, only to find that Spencer was never really there, and soon confronted Jenson about it. Mercedes was also getting suspicious of his behaviour, and on the camera, Warren was on edge after Henson was rummaging through his bag. And when confronting him about it, he was then popping the question to Mercedes herself. And I don’t blame Maddox for walking away from Beth and Jonah when they get lovey dovey following the news about Charlie, but a comment about Diane offended Ant. But that was quickly shifted when the two formed a friendship, getting up to mischief like usual teenage boys. Although Maddox may get off to a bad start at Hollyoaks High when Nancy overheard him talking about her badly. Nancy, already on edge when having a conversation with Jack, soon tested a strip into Maddox, which was soon stopped by Beth. But it soon calmed down, as whilst they admitted they may not be friends, they can at least declare themselves NOT as enemies when Nancy opened up about how it’s moments like this where she wishes Diane was there. Thankfully Beth offered some words of wisdom after her experience, so it’s a start at least to make peace between the Keane's and the Osbournes.
Eastenders:
This week saw an emotional funeral, a father and son strained and a love triangle defiantly in full swing. Mondays episode saw Lauren having a bad day when Max mentioned about the cars, and the broken freezer was a sign to say so. This was linked with the work of Mark and Sam, who tried to sort the situation themselves, even trying to blame Max for the damage of the cars. Cindy have him a pep talk beforehand and revealed he wanted to cancel the bet, secretly using it as a way to prove herself. And Lauren confronting him about it only made things worse, and declined the offer of wanting to take half of the business and still go ahead with the bet. And her day went from bad to worse when not only did Peter suffer a bad back from moving the freezer, but to find out the benefit for Jimmy and the place at the school wasn’t happening. With Mark now in serious trouble to get the debt he needed, and with Grant having a surprising turn of events after a phone call, Lauren then agreed to get “Sonny” to help with the cars and make some money, little knowing the danger she’s about to get herself into. Elsewhere, Elaine seeing Bea sleeping in McKlunky’s was the last thing on her mind, as she soon got caught in the George and Eddie scenario, reminding Nicola of how evil he is. It was nice of Yolande to show some concern, and I have a feeling that she’ll be the voice of reason. Well at least that’s what I hope anyway. And Gina could even see George struggling with all of it, soon confiding in Penny about it. But a comment about how one phone call from the police could change everything soon had me wondering if she would betray her own father. And the love triangle between Oscar, Jasmine and Josh continued as Patrick celebrated Josh and Oscar helping him with the allotment in the cafe, but was still uneasy about Jasmine. Soon the siblings were showing Oscar a game they played as a child after a suggestion about a trip to the beach, which got Oscar hot under the collar. But a comment from Josh got Jasmine feeling uneasy, and in the Albert, Oscar was there as a supportive ear. But he also had to restrain himself from flirting with him after a moment happened between the two. Tuesdays episode of Eastenders saw Nicola still facing the strain of having Eddie to live with him, and getting Harry to watch him. When at the launderettes, Yolande definitely made it clear on her feelings being a black woman herself, and it got Nicola really thinking. She confided in Harry about how she did it for her family but may have caused more tension. But knowing the deal she made with Eddie, what will happen now? Meanwhile, Jasmine apologised to Oscar for her outburst in the previous episode, which he forgives. But Josh flirting with Oscar over a banana milkshake made things more complicated, and soon he was confiding in Penny about his love life. Josh meanwhile got advice from Elaine to move on from Oscar and look for “Fresh Meat”, which clearly made Oscar jealous. Soon the two were getting passionate, making this so awkward. Meanwhile, the Mitchell’s we’re preparing for Nigel’s funeral, and Phil discovered that Julie hasn’t opened the latter Nigel left her. He understood why she didn’t open it sooner, but reassured her that whatever it said, he meant every word of it. And Sam was cooking dinner much to her frustration, and Denise came round to help. But she couldn’t help but noticed the bruises on her arm, and with her upcoming appointment, and seeing what’s to come for Denise, I’d be intrigued to see how she takes on that journey. And Mark is in more trouble than ever, soon starting with visiting Lauren, making out to Peter that it’s pain killers for him when Max also asked. It only caused more tension between the father and daughter, but not as much tension as Mark and Grant, who refused to accept his offer when Grant sold the bar in Portugal. Priya also got suspicious when Lauren and Mark took over her house when customer Peter Conway came, and soon Jack and his team came to search the place, with him reminding Max to focus on Lauren and not on Mark after he took over the sale. But more trouble for Mark came when he saw a threat, showing Priya, who then advised her to get Ravi to clean his safe in order to pay back Russell. But Priya soon declined, and Kidd when he was about to message Grant for help, he soon got bundled into the back of a van. Oh dear… Wednesday's episode saw an emotional one, as it was the day of Nigels funeral. But of course it’s eastenders, so there’s bound to be a lot of drama happening. It all started with Grant and Sam bickering about the funeral outfits, but there were a few more problems ahead. As Mark was still stuck by Delaney and his gang, and as the hearse was moving, it was then that Delaney called Grant, with Sam making an error of butting in and now giving him something she owes him. Soon the Mitchell siblings made a detour to rescue Mark, making out to Julie it was a flat tire that was holding them up. Thankfully after some convincing Mark was rescued, and Sam gave Delaney Nigels watch Julie gave to Phil in order to pay back what she owes, and soon the service got away without a hitch. But Julie bless her was struggling with the eulogy, so encouraged by Lexi, (who was so strong in all of this), Clare and Josh (Nigels children with Ian having tension with Clare), managed to help her after talking about how Nigel helped her with a poem for her English class, which Julie used in the service. Grant and Phil also gave their funny stories of Nigel, and I praise Steve McFadden for showing so much emotion in that. Even though Vicki was relieved in finding Mark safe and accepted Grants help, he’s adamant it won’t change anything. The wake bought everyone together, with Callum catching Lexi trying to get a sip of wine (which was quite entertaining) and Elaine encouraging Linda to find happiness in both her son Johnny and with Grant. Julie was then also reflecting on moving back to Scotland, and the Mitchell siblings gathered in the Archers to have one last toast to Nigel. Sam also revealed she kept the real watch from Nigel and swapped it with Billy's, making it the perfect end to an emotional day. Finally, Thursdays episode saw the aftermath of Nigel's funeral. Julie finally had the courage to open the letter Nigel gave her, and after a few jokes he made, she got overwhelmed when it was revealed that Nigel left her tickets for India. It then got Phil considering celebrating at the Vic, with support being shown from the Trueman clan. But she decided to slip early, and thankfully Phil caught her in time to send her off, which was an emotional one indeed. All I can say is good luck to Karen Henthorn for her amazing performance as Julie once again, and I can’t wait to see what she does next. But Phil’s attention may turn elsewhere, as Grant and Marks relationship reaches breaking point, to the point where he caused a scene at the Vic. And Mark himself was helping Lauren with her bet, and I think max was showing genuine concern after spotting the two together. He then asked Priya about her knowledge, and revealed all. And despite winning the bet, Lauren and Mark decided to continue after opening up to her about his relationship with Grant. Meanwhile, Nicola made her thoughts of Eddie clear if he were to tell the truth to George, and despite Yolande's intervention, Gina made it clear of her feelings on the situation, wanting nothing more to do with it despite George opening up. And I can’t believe Chelsea is 40 years old, and I want to know the skin care secret. And Vicki and Ross were getting the final wedding preparations for the big day, and I’m glad she was understanding about not having the honeymoon after everything they went through. But with the secret about her and Zack looming, something tells me it’s a wedding to remember for the wrong reasons.
Amandaland:
This week I started the new series of the comedy show starring Lucy Punch and Joanna Lumley. Episode 1: Careers Talk, saw Amanda making a video for her channel. which was interrupted on numerous occasions, telling one woman to go away, finding out that it’s actually Mals ex Abs. Soon afterwards Amanda was going to get some money for her business senuous and the house, which was followed by the parents going to the football match, with Fi ringing Della about the car, with Amanda coming in to report her brand development. Anne then brought up the careers fair, with Della coming to do a talk, and Amanda having he down ted talk. Amanda was then making comments on Abs, with Mal revealing she thought she was shallow, soon asking Anne and Fi the same, with the two hiding how this really felt. Elsewhere JJ was wondering if Mal would be okay with him dropping out, inviting him to his talk to build his confidence. At her house, Amanda was getting her stuff, soon asking Felicity about if she’s shallow, soon making out she remembered a presence for Manus. At the school Mal was giving his talk, making JJ abit nervous after the kids made a comment on his trousers, whilst Fi was asking Della about the temperature, and Amanda was bragging about not having makeup and what she’s reading when Abs arrived on the scene. She then found out that Anne and Abs were doing a talk about her being a banker, accepting her ted talk about sensuous to gain one up, with Fi telling Anne to get Amanda to talk about her “collab” rather than sensuous, and her attempt to be honest with her son Darius didn’t go well at first, but soon did the trick. The kids making a comment on Mal for JJ jealous again, whilst Fi was speaking to Della again, and Anne making a comment after being confident with honesty surprised her. Sadly Della’s talk didn’t go down too well, with JJ coming up next. At her “collab”, Amanda was working on her presentation, with Felicity coming in to ask about the oven, stating that she wasn’t able to come just so she doesn’t watch her. And JJ’s talk was going well until he made a high quality trouser sound, whilst Fi figured out a power cut herself which worked. Soon Amanda was doing her presentation despite Georgie’s protests, making innuendos and finding out that Abs was actually working for a food bank, trying to interrupt her talk, soon giving in to donating 3k. But it didn’t end well after she ended up getting stick from the head teacher, with Anne using her honesty about the lights whilst Fi gets used to living by herself, only to get visited by the police after Della thought she was dead (which was quite funny). The episode ended with Amanda showing Felicity and co the newspaper, and soon got triggered by a comment about being middle aged. Episode 2: Vantablack Coffee, saw Amanda liking a coffee shop which brought her back memories of her old home, and was soon wanting to promote the shop, giving her a coffee that was an interesting image. Fi was also bringing her new dog Bobby to a football game to stop her getting lonely, with Amanda coming to tell them about the coffee shop. I also like shoe Bobby the dog was taking a liking to Amanda, loudly licking himself clean as a way to show affection. Felicity made a grand entrance when coming to the match whilst Amanda revealed about filming for the coffee shop. And after debating on who’s garden is who’s, Mal mentioned about helping Ned with the shed, with Felicity offering their services whilst Anne has made it a mission after Darius made a joke. At said coffee shop. Amanda was making content with Felicity wondering what it was whilst Anna got some comments on the plants in the post from her video. Meanwhile, Mal was showing Ned and JJ the shed, and JJ’s drill showed Ned’s attention and when Mal asked Felicity about the shed and the “entertainment” she had, it was quite entertaining. Amanda was then being served a Marcoon doughnut crossover whilst being seen by Fi, who both watched Anne’s plant video whilst Bobby the dog licks himself clean again, loudly. Back at the shed, Felicity coming in to watch the men, with JJ's nail gun being a hit, and Mal got injured the manual way. After secretly being jealous, Amanda was visiting Anne to give her some tips and finding the stuff she got sent from the videos. Soon the videos being shown to everyone, in which the numbers dropped, which got Amanda mocking Abs when she suggested to go back go what she normally does. Whilst working on the shed, Mal was wondering if Felicity was lonely, with Fi suggesting the dog and Mal sorted it out, with a fellow dog Walker recognising Anne. Amanda was then wondering if Bobby likes her and soon went back to the coffee shop, disowning it in her own way. Meanwhile, Mal was showing Ned more with Felicity, with Amanda talking about her situation in the cafe, and JJ getting the leaf blower with Mal feeling sad. JJ was then giving him some words of advice in his own way, which seemed to have worked, and Ellie (the coffee worker) was putting a name and shame poster, with Amanda “calling the solicitors” which didn’t go down well, eventually getting Anne to do some content to pay the bill. Later on Ned was finding Felicity in the shed whilst Abs teased Amanda about Bobby the dog, with it being abit of a health problem (hence why he kept licking himself clean). But it looked like a online career for Anne was over after she was getting grief on social media, soon decided to go back to basics, with Darius showing her how much she showed (which was entertaining). Soon Mal found Ned in his room, thinking Felicity needed the shed more, soon letting him have his room. The episode ended with Anne’s appearance on Alan Titchmarsh getting cancelled and Bobby licking himself again, which Amanda surprisingly enjoyed.
A Taste For Murder:
This week I watched a show set in Italy, with the theme of Italian food. Episode 1: Uova In Purgatorio saw Two men on a boat whilst we cut to an Italian restaurant, soon seeing Joe and his daughter Angelica, who were going to see her grandparents Elena and Genarro (who ran the restaurant). The two men on the boat were then finding something, with one of them knocking then dead. And after Angelica surprised Genarro. the other man was found dead. Joe was soon having a dream about his late wife Sofia, waking up to the sound of a horn followed by going for a run. It’s clear that Joe was emotional after seeing photos of his wife in Angelica’s room, with a flashback of the night she died, making out about if she wants to go to the beach. You got to praise Joe for trying to bond with Angelica through text, using the excuse to hiring a paddle board when seeing a boat travel m fast, when in fact it was the police, and he soon got caught in the crossfire when trying to investigate, finding Angelica and meeting local Daniele, embarrassing her. Back at the restaurant, Elena and Genarro were sensing the tension between Joe and Angelica, where he revealed the impact after sofia’s death, with Elena also missing her. She then had the idea of Gennaro can get through to him by teaching him how to cook, which was then followed by Gennaro teasing him at the table whilst reflecting on Sofia. Soon we spotted Detective Inspector Lara Saerrancino give her report on her findings to her boss, requesting to go back the same night. Joe then found the boat again whilst Elena offered to keep him company, bringing a book Sofia wrote to keep her memory alive. Joe was then going into the kitchen with Elena, Daria and Gennaro setting up, with chef Luca showing Joe how to deshell a shrimp, whilst Lara was getting a report on another key being found which was a man called Capaldi. Back at the restaurant, Joe was wanting to help, but it was interrupted by the police coming to arrest Luca, with Elena revealing he has a criminal record when talking about Nico Massi and Matheo Capasso. Joe was then revealing his job, wanting to help Lara and revealed his relationship with Luca with her showing the evidence and his motive, letting joe see him. He was quick in asking Luca about his whereabouts, and requested him to get the weapon as proof which was a acting prop (as he was an actor before coming to work). This then got Joe going into the flat, seeing pictures of the partner and showed Gennaro the evidence. Relative Daria then revealed he bought drugs for her sister who has cancer, with Joe later on processing things on his run, whist asking Angelica of her whereabouts which linked to Sofia. He also as then objecting to getting her to hire a scooter and accused him of putting work first, which I guess was the reason why things are strained between the two. In the mean time, Joe reported to Luca on what Daria said, where the lady in the picture was a fellow actor who Matteo got jealous of, whilst Daniele was checking in on Angelica about Joe and Sofia, who revealed the cause of her death, and offered to take her to the place where the 50s stars went. Joe was then checking in on Gennaro where the restaurant didn’t go down well following Luca’s arrest, soon showing Joe a recipe called Uova In Purgatorio which was a meal also made by Sofia, getting him to teach it. The next day, Elena and joe were going to see Bianca, who mentioned it was a lie, and followed by Luca reporting it back and mentioned a video, going to the theatre to meet props man Dante, taking a copy of the play. At the family home, Angelica and Elena were looking through photos and a necklace, whilst Joe watched the play and asked Angelica about the role of Lady Capulet, getting suspicious, with a saying on the real star of the show giving him a big clue. It then got Joe revealing to Lara about Dante Patalano, soon finding him injured. Lara’s colleague Gianni Gallo then found another clue, with Joe giving a theory on what really happened and Bianca being the real culprit. Deciding to give evidence to Joe, they were soon giving chase and bumping into Angelica to warn her if the murderer, soon catching Bianca. I liked how it ended with Angelica making a joke about the scooter, which got Joe to think about it, whilst Lara gave a report on the outcome and what evidence was found, with Luca getting free and appreciating his help. The episode ended with Joe servicing Angelica the recipe Uova In Purgatorio he made whilst looking at the book, with Gennaro and Elena proud of their start to help them reconnect on their holiday. Episode 2: Torta Della Nonna saw some rock climbers giving people lessons, with one person being scared and soon spotting someone dead. Elsewhere, Joe and Angelica travelling via scooter, with Joe teaching her how to ride it, but got distracted by a star linking to a hotel named after a her, with Angelica soon having her lesson, allowing her to keep the scooter via two conditions. But Joe was soon roped into another mystery when Lara stopped him to announce the death of the British tourist, with Gianni revealing it’s an accident and asked about a mountain, and his “reconstruction” got a theory, with Joe ordered to speak to UK authorities. Joe and Lara were soon looking around the hotel room, thinking that the time is wasted, but found some pills, so they spoke to the hotel manager who revealed she booked it under the name Manny Sanghera, soon revealed of a beauty therapist Viviana who revealed she only had a message. Joe was adamant that he will get Shannon’s Headley's address, offering to help Lara work the messages, with Manny soon calling to reveal to be her fiancé. He was then getting questioned, who revealed he met another woman on an app, but with a twist that it was Shannon’s app, and Gianni was getting evidence of her business which raised suspicions. Back at the restaurant, Genarro was losing his temper when Joe asked for another cooking session, declining his offer to help, opening up about Sofia not coming home to run the restaurant. He was then going for his usual 5m, with Elena looking out for him, wondering about if he made the right choice about Angelica, giving him some advice. He was then getting a call from Lara about Shannon’s father, who confirmed that the body was Shannon’s, whilst Angelica and Daniele were riding the bikes, going to the mainland where their connection grew, and ended up exploring the city, although she looked abit surprised by his behaviour. encouraging her to bend the rules Joe set out. Joe and Lara were then analysing the body, noticing scars on the body and the father wanting to be sure himself, but he soon caught Angelica with Daniele. But that was something to sort out later, as soon Shannon’s and Manny were getting into a fight, but thankfully not pressing charges, but he revealed his true feelings and about her “business”, which linked to the documents. The two were then looking at those documents with no luck, until Joe noticed the next of kin form, but reminded of still having an alibi. Shannon’s father was then talking about how Manny insisted going on holiday, and revealed of the scared due to the drugs and how it affected her life. Joe was then looking at Shannon’s phone again, noticing something after the father mentioned her left hand being funny. Back at the restaurant, Elena was signalling Joe to come back, causing friction between the two after making his boundaries on Angelica clear, only for Lara to call as the tox reports came through with the overdose having a strong link, offering Joe a drink as a thanks. Joe was then talking about Sofia and her accident, with the death not being revealed and how the case helped give Angelica space. In turn, Lara was talking about her relationship with her father. Eventually Elena managed to spot Joe coming back, who was making a cake for a friends birthday, showing Joe how to make it, talking about their mothers and advising Joe to leave Angelica until the morning. He did just that until he found sleeping pills in her wardrobe, where Elena revealed it was her actually gave when accusing Daniele of giving them to her. She then went onto revealing why she gave Angelica the pills, and a comment got Elena advising him to understand her, liking the cake, and clue on every detail counting got him thinking. It was then that Joe convinced Lara to trust her instincts, prompting to call the business, with at first little success, but Lara showed CCTV footage and showed the evidence in the bin and Gianni piecing it together. Emotional scenes soon followed when Joe admitted he doesn’t know what to do without Sofia, with Elena admitting she should’ve asked Joe, and also talking about how we parent from their parents, with a comment sparking tension. Elena was then admitting what Gennaro said, with Joe then revealing about his mum hence why he was protective of Angelica and the pills. Joe then got a call from Lara about a man called Sandro Totti who was the man in the hotel, getting interviewed. Joe then got another call by someone who got him and Lara seeing the person Beppe, talking to a mother on using his dead’s sons name, and now the soap with “Angelica” was from the Beaty therapist earlier, who happened to be his girlfriend Viviana. Joe and Lara were then going back to the salon, catching Sandro and the therapist, getting questioned again about his relationship with Shannon. The biggest clue was when they were going over the CCTV footage and going back to square one, noticing a signature from Manny, finding out he’s dual heritage and lied about going go Italy. The tox reports then showed the reaction to the fentanyl, whilst joe follows Daniele’s account. This then got Joe confronting Elena about Angelica, who at first showed him proof, but he then showed a post by Daniele to proof he was lying. But Elena noticing a time code edit spotted by Lucas and how it was to to repost it was a clue to Sandro’s tactics, using it to find out he’s Manny’s cousin. The two giving chase to Manny with Gianni following them, and after Lara was using reverse tactics to get Manny off the edge of the cliff, Joe then revealed his motives and arresting him. After Kara thanked Joe again, the episode ended with Gennaro keeping eye on a local customer, who looks suspicious whilst Joe catching him and Elena arguing.
Rivals:
This week I watched the first episode of the first season of the sauciest show on Disney plus. Episode 1 saw Rupert Campbell-Black (who definitely made an enterance) meeting tony baddingham, followed by Declan O’Hara doing his talk show to the deputy prime minister, soon bumping into Tony and offering him freedom by going live, going back to his family whilst a family moved to a new house place, which was actually Declan’s family. At the new house, Maud invited a new neighbour Lizzie whilst the family, Caitlin and Agatha aka Taggie talking about Rupert and his reputation, with Declan going to Corinium with the colleague admiring Declan who was questioned by papperazi. He soon realised that Cameron Cook is the Head of drama and the team to help him with the show, with Cameron soon berating Tony for lying, who claims he needed Cameron to help her career. At home, Lizzie giving “Taggie” a tour, talking about her ambition to be a cook and Caitlin’s law on marriage. She soon spotted a fire, bumping into Rupert playing naked tennis with someone in. At the local pub, Basil, Tony’s half brother, was serving a drink and complimenting Charles on the royal wedding, who talked about his relationship with tony, also meeting Tony’s son Archie and Charles complimenting Cameron. Cameron herself was busy meeting Lady Gosling for the next show, soon thinking about Rupert which put her on edge, and Charles drunkenly telling Declan about how Corinium will be a success. Taggie and Caitlin was then talking about the party and Rupert, with Maud wearing her dress, with Tony’s event taking place, spotting Freddie Jones and talking about Cameron, soon spotted Declan and Basil making his presence known. Back at work, Cameron decided to move the desk despite Declan’s orders, also making her status known when the male workers made a joke. At the party, Tony made an announcement with the attention turning to Rupert which Taggie noticed. Whilst Lizzie's husband showing him off, she encouraged Freddie to be rebellious whilst Rupert’s missus talks to Declan. But little did they know that Maud was secretly talking to Rupert, clearly flirting with him, with Declan find the two. And after Tony was seeing to his wife whilst getting some mail, Declan spotted Maud eyeing up Rupert whilst playing pool, and a conversation on class was overheard by Tony, offering him a desk which he turned down. Paul Stratton soon strode in with his new wife Sarah, who was the same woman Taggie spotted then playing naked tennis with, noticed by Tony, revealing to Taggie that everyone knows about the fire and also about the “mystery woman”. Pretty soon, everyone was dancing to the birdy song whilst Rupert warns Declan, whilst Taggie spots Tony speaking to Rupert’s missus Katie, revealing the secret which caused a scene. After the party, Declan and Maud were arguing about Rupert, spotted by Caitlin, which soon turned into passion. Rupert himself was in his house, greeted by his dogs and got a call for an appointment from the prime minister. The episode ended with Caitlin asking about Rupert whilst Lizzie writes her new book and Tony is adamant he’s getting revenge on rupert, secretly getting into with Cameron whilst everyone was getting hit and steamy. This was then only for Rupert to give a report to Tony about the Prime Minsiter and creating a feud. Episode 2 saw a polo event taking place with Rupert and Bas being amongst the people whilst Declan’s new show was announced, with the first one about a star called Johnny Friedlander, back at home, Taggie found a fox with her dog Gertrude barking, hiding from Rupert, but couldn’t m help but feel attracted to him. Johnny was soon coming into Corinium with crew member Brian trying to make a joke to calm him down, with Declan making it clear it was not funny. He then got asking Cameron a question with johnny not coming, with Tony speaking to Charles, Valerie and Freddie, with lady Gosling and reverend Penny coming in with big expectations, with Charles bringing in his lover. Cameron eventually found Johnny in a compromising position, whilst Rupert and Bas joined Taggie, Caitlin, Maud and Lizzie to watch the show, with Caitlin showing interest in Rupert. After Cameron was showing who’s boss, the show was taking place with Maud explaining why she doesn’t go in the audience and finding out Rupert knew johnny. Other than Tony noticing the socks it was going well, but soon he was asking about the sex tape which was not what Tony and Cameron were expecting. Eventually Johnny exposed himself, and Cameron getting the good angle when Johnny made the apology did the trick. This left Tony impressed and Bas was complimenting Lizzie when wondering about her husband James, and Bas and Lizzie encouraging Taggie to work in hospitality whilst Maud flirts with Rupert. Whilst Charles was getting it on with his lover, the show ended with a success, but Cameron revealed her tactics for the first show which Declan was infuriated by, and the staff member supported her decision. Tony was then getting questioned by Lady Gosling about Rupert and Freddie, whilst Freddie finds out about Cameron’s first time on a live show. Back at home, Caitlin was gossiping to Bas and Lizzie about Maud, interrupted by Taggie who was distracted by Maud and Rupert, with Lizzie telling him to be careful of Declan, and soon Maud lied about Rupert when Declan came home. I do feel for Lizzie as well having to come back to find James in a bad mood, berating her for apparently “critiquing her”. The next day Caitlin was leaving for boarding school and asked about Maid and Rupert, with Taggie making a promise, and pretty soon Declan’s show was having more and more episodes with major success, with Declan turning down a party to prepare for work and Taggie preparing for a catering, frustrating Maud and thinking it’s punishment. Declan was then being congratulated, with Cameron suggesting Rupert as a guest, with Tony convinced it’s a bad idea and Declan suggesting Thatcher. Tony could also sense Declan’s mood, soon revealing his money problems and Maud, and Tony offered to help. Soon enough Taggie was going to Green Lawns with an extreme list from Valerie, Tony was talking to his wife about the dinner, whilst Paul and Sarah also get ready, wanting her to behave herself following her secret with Rupert. The dinner was then taking place with Valerie making talk, and Taggie letting in Rupert, making his presence known with Freddie’s equipment to lighten the mood and Lizzie making a comment about her husband. Rupert was then making a comment on Lizzie and Freddie, soon exploring the house to interrupt Freddie himself and Tony, switching the name tags to cause trouble. Everyone then saw Sarah on James’ show whilst Sarah let Cameron in, shocking Tony, which was then followed by Taggie walking in on Rupert and Sarah, perhaps feeling abit jealous. Pretty soon everyone was sitting at the dinner table with Monica (Tony’s wife) feeling welcome despite getting the wrong name and Rupert flirting with Cameron. Taggie was soon serving the food with Rupert causing drama linking to Cameron and Tony, and James getting a new guest offending Cameron, with Lizzie and Freddie having abit of romantic tension. Freddie’s children were then asking about Cameron whilst Lizzie complimented Taggie despite her bad writing, and Rupert was secretly admired by Taggie herself whilst Freddie talks about his favourite thing about the job. But Rupert making a bad move caused trouble and got her overwhelmed, with Lizzie grilling him for his actions (and rightly so), and she was soon soon leaving and ruined his chances (and he knew it too). At the end of the night, Freddie was asking Tony for the business plan for something more cultural, and back at Corinium, Cameron was understandably feeling embarrassed, with Declan grilling into her, and Tony revealing that Rupert caused it, soon suggesting Declan to interview him out of fury.
Last On Laughing:
This week I watched more of the gameshow featuring 10 comedians. Episode 3 saw Richard Madeley giving them an interview, whilst Sam, Bob and Amy were having a conversation about ducks followed by David talking about chickens. The lever machine got them talking about pet peeves which nearly got Bob, and Sam was asking Alan about monster trucks being revealed to be Amy. Alan’s talk on a spin on MTV Cribs nearly getting Bob, and Bob himself brought his laptop for the songs, nearly getting Diane. Alan was then doing his joker “concentration or constipation”, catching out Romesh and another yellow cars coming in, and Episode 4 revealed that it was Alan who got a yellow card. Bob was very nearly going after a talk of tongue, with Mel getting an yellow card after burping which caused the laugh. Alan asking about weird crushes, and Sam and David were doing a head to head challenge, ending in a screaming match. Alan was then talking about how he OD’d on Imodium and Maisie was asking Diane to help with her audition. Romesh was then doing his joker, and Sam asking Alan to repeat the line resulted in Gbemi and Alan being the first ones out. A singing challenge was then taking place, with Maisie getting out with a red card, and Amy getting out with a smile, and it ended with Bob asking Romesh on cheese whilst Mel tries to make them laugh, with Bob preparing for his joker, which I know when I watch it next week it’ll be hilarious.

Personal:
Exercise:
This week I definitely slacked on the exercise for various reasons (which I’ll explain more in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”). But I definitely managed to get some yoga in, and only went on the bike once. With a time of 13mins 50secs when I got to 10k. I even managed to go for a brisk walk, knowing it would probably overheat if I went on the bike. So you could say the exercise slacked, but going into next week I’ll make sure I’m back on track.
Cooking:
This week I decided to make a classic which is of course a lasagna. This was delicious, and I actually enjoy making it. Once again it was a hit with the family, proving that sometimes going back to basics and cooking what you know can have a lasting affect.
Sisters Birthday:
This week my sister had a gathering ahead of her birthday. It turned out to be a pretty good turnout, and she definitely had a good time. I even managed to sneak in a few goodies as well, so that’s always good.

Survey:
This week I only did a small amount of surveys. Not a lot, but just a small amount. With everything that happened this week, I didn’t find as much time as I wanted to complete this hobby, but all I can say is it’s better to get some in than none at all.
Darts:
I’ll admit I only had one practice this week and I gave up after failing to finish. I think this was a sign for me to take a breather so that after the event (which I’ve mentioned in “Rehearsing”), I’ll come back to the practice stronger and able to finish a game. At least I hope it’ll happen, but I managed to get one treble in, which is always great I guess.

Premier League of Darts:
This week the final leg of the tournament before the O2 came Sheffield. Whilst the top 4 we’re definitely qualified, this night was all about how each of the players finished in style. And Stephen Bunting won the night ending his campaign definitely in style. I also liked how cool and calm he was during his semi final match with Gerwyn Price when security had to get an audience member to leave, and still give off a good performance. Whilst he won’t be at the O2 this weekend, I can’t wait to see what Luke Littler, Johnny Clayton, Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries bring in the final part of the premier league of my favourite sport.
Britain's Got Talent:
This week I watched the last live semi final of the iconic talent show. All I can say was, I’m glad the two acts that reached the final did, with one of them being something that had me reflecting, and the other one being how I don’t think people realise how tough their jobs are, and how being in a choir is a good form of self care. I think it’s changed my thoughts on who will win in next weeks final. There was also a performance from the cast of “Matilda” and it honestly left me in tears. So overall I really good show, and I can’t wait for next weeks final.

Gogglebox:
This week I watched another instalment of the show where people watch tv, with more adventures. Giles was showing Mary what he found in his man cave, and Amira was showing Amani her new laugh for her social event. We then saw Sophie reflecting to Pete about her and bens barbecue, followed by Lee talking to Jenny about the new speeding limit. Giles was then critiquing Mary on the pork pie, and Andrew and Alfie were trying to wake up their dog Pablo after a late night. Finally, Pete and Sophie were talking about something he needed to move, and Daniella was showing Danielle her waitressing skills. They also once again watched some of the most talked about moments on the boxset. “Eurovision” saw the United Kingdom’s entry, having mixed reactions from the Goggleboxers, and “Jamie’s Ultimate BBQ” seeing Jamie put a unique spin on an English breakfast. “Widows Bay” saw the mayor face to face with the Sea Hag with advice from Wyck, and “Dogs Behaving Very Badly” saw Graeme meeting Rio who refuses to get out of the car, and his pub usual was a way to help him nip the stairs. “Police Interceptors” witnessed cop Michael finding a van that is not useable, and the “BBC News” was talking about Andy Burnham. Finally, “Race Across The World” saw Jo and Kush and Andrew and Molly racing to the finish line, and “Trading Places” saw three unacademic students going to boarding school, with one of the students taking a liking to their unique way of learning.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
I guess you could say I’ve had a few hurdles this week. The big one was not being able to see the show with my friend due to my train being delayed caused by a bad accident. This was a stressful time for me, as I knew that I wouldn’t get the full experience if I came for the second half. But I still managed to meet my friend for a drink and got to visit Chinatown briefly, so at least I got to see him for abit rather than not at all. I also turned the negative situation into a positive, but writing a first draft of a piece about how throughout all the horrific things happening, there’s still some people who show that little bit of kindness. I also got a delicious Burger King on the way back, which definitely cheered me up
I also felt the pressure of learning my scripts for the event, knowing that my group don’t have a lot of rehearsal time. But equally I know that I need to challenge myself, and this might be the challenge I need.
What Have I Learnt This Week? Now that the weather is starting to get abit warmer, I need to take it easy knowing that my energy levels will drain quicker. So with the event happening next week, I must make sure I don't overdo it.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
