Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This week consisted of meeting with an actor friend who I haven’t seen in a while, filming some auditions and posting about what I’m doing for Autism Acceptance Week. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 19th January 2026!

Professional:

Acting Class:

This week in class we looked at more Stella Adler. In this scene, we performed some of the scene from “No Country for Old Men”, and it made me realise a few things. First of all after Stella’s rule about leaving my world behind and using imagination, I wasn’t aware I was doing certain things until my teacher mentioned it. I also took down some notes from the rest of the group, and it did make me rethink this technique going forward. We then briefly looked at The Devil Wears Prada for the next session, and everything we learnt about the different verbs for each line, the actions the character does and the world around them is definitely giving me food for thought. I’m just curious to read the script this week and see what I could pick out!

Self-tape Filming:

This week I did some filming for my social media for World Book Day and International Women's Day on in the year. I had fun doing it, and I managed to get the tapes I wanted to film. I also filmed some auditions filming after working on three of tapes! It’s safe to sat that it's definitely been a good week editing stuff together, but also a tiring week too!

Email Drafting:

I started drafting out some emails to send to some casting directors. I also got some advice from the Act On This Community, knowing what to send to specific people. And it seemed to work in my favour, and as I'm writing this, I have all my emails for the casting directors in theatre sorted.

Fundraising:

During this week, I filmed and posted my promo for Autism Acceptance Week 2026. Because the links are going on different social media platforms, I filmed different different versions of where people can click on the link. It was tricky, but I got there in the end. And for those reading this now, the links for you to donate are now live! Even if it's 5, that is better than nothing.

Act On This:

This week I listened to the first podcast of 2026. This was with an agent, and they gave some really good tips when it comes to finding the one and working with them to help land me more jobs. I’ve learnt that I need to do 85% of the work, and with emailing some casting directors on the next job of my list of things I need to do by the first week of February, this session really helped me gain some inside knowledge. But overall a really great session to start the year on a high!

Coronation Street:

This week I watched the show from 14th, 15th, 16th and 19th January (with the last two directed by Aashish Gadhvi). We saw Megan getting something from the shop, pushing Will away in the process. And during Bertie’s birthday, Kirk giving him a drum kit turned sour when Bertie finds a pregnancy test. Megan managed to cover it up by making out it’s for a girl at school, and Alya reassured Jed after Daniel looked concerned. Tracy of course was then asking about if Megan was telling the truth about the pregnancy test, whence led to Daniel recalling the memory with Daisy, making Will jealous and lashing out at Daniel whilst confiding in Adam about if it was positive. But there was more drama with the Driscolls, as after Daniel's car getting ruined, and Maggie found out that it was Will, she told him to be nice with Daniel in order to keep the secret of Christmas Day. We also saw Ben pleading with Daniel to lift Will's suspension and Megan trying to get Daniel to consider as her “reputation” will be on the line. It was then followed by Will confronting her about the pregnancy test and Megan about the car but soon makes an appointment for a termination. We then saw Leanne be more concerned after she saw a notification about the termination whilst helping Eva delete stuff. But even Leanne telling her experience with Oliver wasn’t enough to help, and decided to go through with the termination anyway. Shortly after that, Ben was telling Will to get a grip whilst Leanne offers Maggie a deal, with Maggie convinced it’s a plan to attack her. Megan was soon seen feeling unwell following her termination, first noticed by Daniel and then with Will. Eve was then telling Leanne that she’ll convince Maggie to sign over, and nearly letting slip to Will of what happened to Megan. But he soon found out anyway, with Megan wanting to move away, convinced it’ll stop suspicion. I can’t tell if she had the termination or not, but she’s definitely got Will in her grip now. There was also more sadness when Lisa convinces Betsy that her and Carla are no more, but also admit they can’t avoid each other forever. We then saw Betsy convincing Carla to try and give things another chance, and I’m hoping they will after seeing spoilers. Elsewhere, Bethany and Lily were returning home and ended up meeting Jodie, whilst Shona was discharging herself, which then led to David telling her about Jodie staying. Nick also met her and thought she was bad news, with David and Shona coming back to confirm to Nick that it’s her sister. And Shona spotted bruises on her arm, which led querying her about the bruises and why she had a panic attack in the hospital. Whilst Jodie and lily were bonding, David asked if they should be concerned about her bruises and Shonas guilt for leaving her, with Jodie then chucking something away. But the question is, what was it? The next morning, Jodie made Shona breakfast and remembered about Pop tarts being their favourite. They then got an update on Harper and invited Jodie to see her. The sisters then reflecting on Clayton and asked about if she wants kids. But the worry starts to kick in where after Nick came round with a veggie lasagna (with Lily faking being ill and Jodie telling Nick to give her a break following everything that happens), and after David told Shona to be positive. an emergency kicked in. It was then revealed revealed that harpers blood pressure dropping and needed a transfusion. David was then honest about how he really feels and wondered if Jodie is trying to woo him after she made a grand gesture. That would wait, as soon David and Jodie convinced Shona to have a rest, and the sisters chatted  about childhood. Shona was adamant she didn’t read a letter Jodie sent, which led to revealing how controlling their dad was, but soon made up when Jodie hurt herself. David also announced the news that the transfusion went well, but I wonder where the story will go next when Shona told David about Jodie, with her overhearing everything. Elsewhere, Michael was checking in on Ronnie, who revealed how he really felt about Debbie and if she’ll plead guilty or not. We then saw Kevin coming round to letting her make the decisions but still made it clear of his hatred towards Carl Ronnie was then asking about if Carl is telling the truth, and also begged her not to plead guilty. But Carl was then manipulating Debbie about pleading guilty, but not before Bernie came over before the trial, saying she forgives her, begging her to plead not guilty and Ronnie gathering evidence, for Billy's and Paul’s sake. But it was no good, as Debbie pleaded guilty and discussing the next steps, and Debbie expressed her fears to Carl, with a secret was soon revealed about the real relationship between the pair which even shocked me. Soon enough, Debbie was getting her affairs in order, with Ronnie affected by the cancellation of the honeymoon and got him promise her to look after Carl. Ronnie was then trying to cheer up Debbie whilst summer is still grieving. As during the funeral planning. Summer and Todd were reflecting on Billy with the photo and Theo not being keen. He then tried to make Todd not do the eulogy, making him think it’s still his fault, with everything getting too much for Todd when he hears the radio. We then saw Summer and Todd trying to get hold of Theo, ain’t with Toyah telling Sean about her night out whilst checking in on summer and Todd, but are shocked when they bring Billy earlier than expected. After Asha revealed she’s going back to paramedic training following the accident and Ronnie getting upset, Summer was telling her that she’d seen Billy, saying she wanted to be in her own, and questioned on why he’s dead. This prompted her to lash out about it, with Ed giving Ronnie some advice about the situation. We then saw Ronnie confiding in Carl about Debbie and an altercation with her and Summer, telling her to be strong, but it was only to cover up his wrongdoings. Finally, Elsewhere, Nina was convincing Roy to call the number Alice left her, but Brian reminded her of Haley’s death after he loses his temper. It soon led to Nina apologising to Roy about what happened, and then said she needs to respect his boundaries, which is fair enough I guess.

Hollyoaks:

This week saw one resident spiralling, a teenager in a dangerous situation, and a mother pushing their partner away. Mondays addition saw Sienna still being pushed away from Cleo, and also told Liberty about what she saw the previous episode. Liberty was convinced it was something to do with her possibly having PTSD, and soon Sienna's suspicions moved to Tinhead, who had the same van in the previous episode. And him visiting Rex in the Loft did make me wonder if what he said about grace is true, and I know that Gemma knew Tinhead from Brookside Close, but I’ve got other questions to ask like who’s Nikki? And why is his posing ad Warren Fox? Elsewhere, Rex tried to convince Lucas to control his temper after finding him outside of the garage, and seeing him write down hatred thoughts is definitely something to be concerned about. And the teens have all landed themselves in hot water when they all get detention, with Ant lashing out, prompting John Paul to contact the police. But John Paul was clearly struggling when Smithy brought back memories of George, and I can only imagine his reaction when smithy comes to his support group. And Prince giving Ant a tough talk about the reality of testosterone gave him the wake up call he needed. Although I wish I could say the same about Prince, as a comment from a fellow gym goer soon changed his mindset. Tuesdays episode saw Cleo and Sienna still on the rocks. But I’m glad Leela was supportive of Cleo after everything that happened between them two and Joel. Her offer to go to a baby group got too much for Cleo, and I’m glad a scenario on the bus didn’t actually happen. I guess Cleo is struggling more than she thought. And Donny was back in the village, with Misbah explaining why she was working with Superintendent Singh. Dodger was also trying to get through to him about the night in question, but Donny was doing the classic of projecting his troubles onto someone else and use alcohol as an escape. But Dodgers words of motivation did seem to have done the trick, but failed to mention about what Sully did to him and left the force. Tinhead was also wondering about the offer of The Loft. Despite some hesitation from Rex after he couldn’t find his details, he still accepted his offer anyway. He then revealed to Nikki, who I suggest it may be his secret wife, about going to rehab (which I did see in the new year trailer). I just wish Sienna would have took a picture of it, as I know that liberty will still fail to believe what she witnessed. And Lucas was on a mission to get Dillon to forgive him. But after that failed, and after Rex saw his notebook, a trip to see Dillon made him realise that Ste is in danger. Finally, Wednesday's addition saw Lucas confronting Ste, who hopes that childhood memories would help him step away from his bad temper. But it was no good, as Leela finding a clue to find them resulted in a death threat from Lucas. He also revealed to Leela his and Dillon’s affair, but thankfully the police arrived just in time. I could feel for Rex when he grieves grace, knowing that he has no family to turn to. Elsewhere, whilst she was helping Sophie with a Tudor project, Sienna was surprised to find Cleo at her door, who admitted about the hallucination she had in the previous episode. I’m glad she’s admitting she needs more help, but I’m not sure how long sienna will lie for when she pretends to say there’s no spaces in the mother and baby unit. And Gemma and Vicky were on a mission to help Donny go back to his old self, but inviting Tinhead and Sinbad to make Pizza. Whilst it seemed to have worked so far, he has a lot more work to do to get Misbah back on side. And Dodger is also struggling when he and Theresa have some “alone time”, and whilst he tells Donny he’s a hypocrite, Donny then retaliates after finding out Dodger hasn’t told her about what happened. I’m just looking forward to next week’s episode where I know Dodger admitting the truth on what happened will be an emotional one.

Eastenders:

This week saw one resident planning a escape from the street, one planning a getaway, and a feud between businesses heating up. Monday's episode saw Kat coming back and reporting back to Jasmine and Sam that Chrissie was nowhere to be seen, and Dor was of no help. Oscar gave Jasmine some advice on the situation after his stint in prison, and a visit to see Zoe was just what she needed. But Zoe announcing that she would plead guilty to manslaughter changed everything. I know she’s only trying to protect her, but I can understand why Kat was upset. It then got Jasmine adamant that she’ll to the police about what she knows about Chrissie, but it may be foiled when she plans to leave Walford and asks Oscar to come with her. Meanwhile, Nugget was home from the hospital, and Ravi was so close to telling the truth. It was a good job Priya was there to stop it all, but I could feel Ravi's pain in what’s happened. And Bea gave Honey some advice on getting Nicola and George together. Even though it ruined his and Billy's guy time, the matchmaking seemed to have done the trick, but Billy giving George a warning might change everything. Tuesdays episode saw Jasmine hurry Oscar on making a decision to leave Walford to go travelling. At first he declined adamant that he belongs with his family, but a conversation with Max sparked him to change his mind, and after Jasmine “went to the police” to give her statement, max overhearing a conversation between Jasmine and her mum sparked another confrontation, and Jasmine seen accused Max of trying it on with her. Meanwhile during Phil’s 65th birthday, Ricky was still feeling left out by Sam. But some advice from George prompted her to tell the truth about her cancer diagnosis and the surgery, and was overjoyed when Ricky said he’d be with her when she wakes up from the surgery. Although I dread to think what Nicola will do when she sees her and George together. Priya is also trying to keep her calm with Nugget at home. But Eve and Avani’s suggestion to let him go outside wasn’t the best idea, and it was a good job Nugget was there to come to his aid when he had a panic attack. And Elaine’s business may be in jeopardy when councillor Barker makes his mark and announces about closing the place down. Linda’s and Johnny's advice to take a step back didn’t sit well with her, and she soon found out from Honey about Barkers scandals linking back to Ruby Allen. She soon uses it to her advantage, but Barker had another plan up his sleeve when he mentions the illegalities of Elaine’s business. Wednesdays episode saw the fallout from jasmines admission about Max, causing friction between him and Oscar, and Lauren had quite a few things to say about it to Jasmine herself whilst Peter talked to Oscar about it. Max also confided in Linda about it, and her advice to fight for his family didn’t seem to have worked. For now anyway. And even Lauren’s words to Oscar wasn’t enough to stop him, but it may be foiled when Cindy and Mad team up to bring down Jasmine once and for all. Kat also had her reservations on Jasmine following the admission and everything that’s happened before, and even though Jean is a lot better, she’s still adamant that she’s bad news, which only made Kat question even more. Meanwhile, Ian being surprised about Elaine’s deal with councillor Barker was one he wasn’t expecting, and implored Harvey to update his promo for the cab office and launderette. And Ian’s posters worked to Elaine’s advantage as she decided to joke about, which obviously did not make her happy. Ravi was also getting scolded by Priya following Nuggets panic attack in the last episode, and everything that happened got Suki and Eve missing out on the adaption workshop. But I liked Eve’s words on his she’d make a great mum after everything that’s happened. And George was devastated about not being able to buy Walford East, and initially declined Nicolas offer to get her money to help, and also thinking about Billy's words from Teddy. But a word with Sam made him change his mind, expressing how he doesn’t want it to affect their co parenting arrangement when the baby comes. And Sam I feel was trying to use a different approach to make Phil change his mind about Portugal with Nigel, stating how many people care for him. Finally, Thursdays episode saw Sam have her lumpectomy, and I could understand why she’d be scared, but Jack reassured her that regardless of how the surgery goes, they’ll take it one step at a time. But something that George asked Denise about after Sam woke up landed Phil in hot water, and she soon found out about his trip to take Nigel to Portugal. And her advice to not go explaining how it’ll affect Lexi, albie and Raymond didn’t do much luck, as he emotionally told Nigel about it. But it looks like the trip may be on hold when his nephew Mark runs up out of the blue. Meanwhile, Elaine and Ian were still at loggerheads after Elaine found graffiti on her sign, but Harvey had to play peacemaker in the situation. Secretly though, it didn’t work in his favour. And jasmines plan to get Oscar to leave was stopped yet again. So Max and Cindy decided to take drastic action to gain Oscar proof, but she clocked onto the situation and decided to flip it over. Lauren tried the different approach which seemed to have worked for abit, but I have a feeling there’s more to come.

Lazarus:

This week I watched the final 2 episodes of the brilliant drama by Harlan Coben. Episode 5 aka the penultimate episode, opened with Aidan going to Sutton's grave, followed by Joel telling Jenna about how Olsen may be the one who killed Sutton. But Jenna told him not to go whilst drinking and made him realise how showing him first is not a good idea. Seth was then coming round and seeing the video himself from the last episode, with no success when he and his colleague discovered he ran away from the hospital. Alison was repeating Seth’s word of it being a process, and Joel was still convinced that all of the murders are connected and found out Sutton had a second toy. We then saw the police searching Olsen's house and found that he wasn’t there, infuriating Joel. Jenna expressed her worries about Joel and feared he might be losing his mind whilst Set’s colleague discovered photos of girls clothing. Back at Jonathan’s office, Joel failed to get his dad to come up but saw his younger self, repeating his fathers words. Jonathan then returned and explained why he wasn’t there for Joel. We then saw Bella coming over to ask about Aidan, and Joel revealed the paternity test, only for Seth to mention about Olsen’s car and that Aidan may be with him. During the search, Bella made it clear for Joel not to be involved in Aidan's life whilst a flashback got Joel wondering where he and Sam might be. Alison then showed Seth photos of the video and of the clothes linked to Sutton’s bedroom whilst Joel found the location and sent it to Seth. Joel then managed to find Aidan and Sam and showed him the old video footage, which broke into a fight and revealed what happened on the night of Sutton’s death, which was more morbid than Olsen's version. Thankfully Aidan saves Joel’s life and Alison updated him on their evidence and was now on Joel’s side, offering her services when Alison asked what would happen if they didn’t come. Bella understandably was worried about Aidan’s life and asked him about Joel’s  mental health before and after Suttons death. But they agreed to keep in touch, but he was curious when she revealed about Aidan having sessions with Jonathan. At the bar, Jen was also expressing her fear of no closure and revealed that she knew about Aidan getting sessions and reassured him he’s not go blame for Aidan's problems. It was as then followed by a lovely moment between Jen and Seth. Soon Joel was coming round to see Laura and expressed his own words of liking her. But his happiness was short lived when Seth and Alison revealed that Sam wasn’t there the night Jonathan died, and so Joel tried to beg Seth one more time to convince him of what he saw. The end of the episode saw Joel going back to the office and seeing a woman from his past called Imogen Carswood, only to find Arlo homes in his office and realised the note was from him, and that he may have escaped from the mental hospital. But Alison was was revealed to be the one that burned it first page of the note. But the question is… why? Episode 6 aka the final episode, saw Joel finding out that Arlo was still in his cell and notices that the cut was gone. It then got him coming back to see Arlo and asked him if God did the things he said, and revealed he saw Jonathan the day he died, and also revealed about not killing Imogen Carswood. But he also stated how the lead detective at his court hearing knew he got away with it, with Joel then finding Alison’s signature whilst Seth got information for the weapon on Margot's death and reported it back to Alison, sparking his curiosity and wanted another look at the report. Joel was then meeting Laura and helped him look at files, which all had Alison’s name in it, and after he asked Alfie about who got the video of reverend Frank, Alison was the hot suspect after he got it. We then saw Seth coming round for one on one time with Jenna, only to be interrupted by Joel and his discoveries, causing friction between the two. It then prompted Joel repeat to him why Seth became a cop, and it then led to Joel confronting Alison about all of the cases. This then resulted in a wild goose chase which got Alison killed. Back at the station, Seth was repeating to Joel the plan and they then apologising to each other, finding some humour in the situation. Whilst Aidan went to see Laura explaining a lack of trust in people, a flashback saw Alison getting a tape and convinced Joel to let it go, but got the tape anyway. Joel was then listening to the tape of Jonathan and Alison, revealing they were in on it together. It was then discovered Jonathan admitting to killing Imogen and how Jonathan made Alison convict innocent people, followed by her making the suggestion to kill himself and realised the call he made the day he was murderer couldn’t changed things. Jonathan’s ghost then came back, claiming he “saved them” with Joel stating that all he wanted was his dad, stating his the stool means how sons become their fathers. It then caused a flashback of what happened with regards Joel’s temper, and Jonathan then motivated Joel to break the pattern. After a montage if everyone’s life was shown. And after Jenna found the tapes of Jonathan’s patients (which he mentioned that he records all of the sessions), I think she realised he was telling the truth, speaking something in her, Joel was planning to meet Laura, only to find that Aidan was in her house, and let’s just say that what Jonathan said might be true.

Red Eye:

I also watched the last two episodes of the second series of this thrilling drama! Episode 5 aka the penultimate episode, picked up where we left off where so far the plan to land the plane safely was working, and John was soon updating the prime minister. Jess urgently visited Matt from the last series to help Ruth, explaining why she went to her, and Matt guided Jess on what to do. At the Embassy, Brody was updating CeCe on everything and the plan to catch Fox and getting rid of the camera, trusting Hanas plan and getting her to play along. At Thames House, Sergeant O’Hanlan was coming to Dunsford to disarm the bomb, and the plan to land the plane was a success, with Peterson praising Delaney and her team. Meanwhile, Brody and Hana conducting their plan and giving agent Lewis an assignment whilst John praises Megan and the team. But the mood soon changed when Fox carried out another warning, which he reports back to Delaney, making it clear that everyone will die if they left. He then reveals he’s been watching them the whole time, but Peterson persuaded him to let him stay, which worked. At Matt’s house, he was encouraging Jess to help him get the bullet from Ruth and then suggested to Jess to give him some of her blood after realising she lost a lot of it. Whilst that was happening, Delaney was thanking Peterson for his bravery, whilst Hana purposely turned the camera upside down as part of the plan. Delaney was also praising John whilst Megan gave an update on Ruth and the military police. We then saw Jess revealing the events of last series and why she can’t stand the sight of blood, where Matt revealed Ruth’s state and Delaney wanting the footage from the hard drive. Back at the Embassy, Hana was swapping her jacket and telling Noel the truth and also revealed the many deaths, whilst Brody and his colleague “Hana” were looking around the building. During the wait, Hana and Brody gave each other updates whilst Brody reveals that the death of his mum was the reason why he lashed out in the past, with Hana then revealing her past. Back at Matt’s house, Jess showed the CCTV footage to Thames house, and Delaney offered to help him, only to find that the man in the footage is Patrick Johnson, and where he was before Nick martins suicide. Brody and Hana were then talking about their dads following their mothers death, only to be interrupted by Delaney and reminding Hana about Fox having the detonator and escaping, whilst agent Lewis alerting Brody on Noel and Tillman. Now even I was shocked when Brody revealed that air Marshall Johnson is his real father after reports of Fox got him hostage, causing friction in his friendship with Hana, and also revealed the truth that he’s Charles Johnson and his involvement on the finances. We then saw Brody getting questioned, while agent Thomas was gone and Fox held Tillman and Johnson hostage, ordering to cancel the lockdown and shooting Tillman. It even startled CeCe giving the orders to find Fox and air Marshall Johnson, pointing out the briefcase whilst Brody escaped, out of desperation to help. Fox then sent Peterson a text saying that Tillman is dead and being satisfied with it. The final episode aka Episode 6, kicked off showing teo days before the events, which saw Peterson ringing Tillman about how he arranged everything for him and Tillman was faking a claim, and Peterson then spotting David Mills. It was then discovered that he and Fox working together and be planted the bomb. The present day saw Fox ordering Johnson out of the way and not caring about his deceased son. Thankfully, Hana was there to stop them in tim,  and revealed that if he’s killed, Peterson will also be killed. It was a good job Brody was there to save Hana, facing Fox himself whilst Hana destroys the detonator, with Johnson showing his gratitude. But the good part didn’t last long, as Brody was caught as Fox escaped. Back at Thames House, Delaney was reporting to the team the situation and needing to keep it on the downlow for now, whilst Brody was adamant that he was telling the truth about his mum. Despite not being told to do so, Hana opened the case and found the recording everyone thought they couldn’t find. Brody made it clear he was going against the rules to help Hana, thankfully avoiding agent Lewis shooting him. Back at Matt’s house, Ruth was waking up and relieved that Delaney is safe, showing her gratitude to Jess. We then saw Hana reporting to Delaney and John about the recordings and begged the two to listen to the them with brodys help, and Delaney accepting the request. Meanwhile, Jess and Matt were reflecting on the last series, reassuring her it’ll get easier and to focus on the positives, with Ruth being an example. Back at Thames House, the recording took us back to the start of the series, hearing that there was someone else on the plane which turned out to be Peterson and stated that Nicolas Martin is a traitor, who revealed his plans to embezzle millions of dollars. This resulted Patrick getting shot after refusing to take the order, with Brody being deeply affected and Hana reassuring him he’s nothing like his father. It then resulted in Delaney realising what the main task was about and Peterson playing the victim. Despite Hana convincing everyone that there’s no evidence, Delaney was determined to get him caught. She was then seen contacting CeCe about Brody and Hanas task, urging her to rethink everything. Soon enough, Megan’s phone hacking skills brings up a plan, with Delaney adamant he doesn’t want Peterson to know, whilst Sergeant O’Hanlan was letting Peterson go off of the plane, and Delaney reassured Brody the plan will work. But they may need an extra set of eyes, as Fox spotted the police and reported it back to Peterson. It then resulted in Hana and Brody taking matters into their own hands when Fox takes out sniper 1. Hana managed to find him and had a final showdown with Fox, getting him finally caught. Whilst that was happening, Brody confronted Peterson, admitting what he did and a comment about his brother caused tension, with Hana begging him to stop, which he did. Soon enough Delaney, being the brilliant leader she is, was confronting peterson, who showed his true colours. Delaney then gave a powerful speech about what it means to serve a country. Brody was then showing his gratitude to Hana, offering to buy her a late birthday present whilst Ruth was going to the hospital and Jess thanking Matt for his help. Brody was then meeting Johnson, telling him the truth of the recording. The end of the series saw Delaney meeting Hana to offer her a promotion at Thames House, but declined the offer when admitting that being an detective is who shows meant to be. And something tells me that they’ll be more adventures to come.

Patience:

This week I also watched the final three episodes of the drama starring the autistic criminal archivist. Episode 6: Paco’s Revenge, saw the death of a botomist Alina Barbieri, with dr parsons revealing that she was under a “death Apple”, and it he burns were not caused by a fire after seeing physical signs of being poisoned. Following her breakup with Elliot, Patience got distracted, which clearly showed. But that had to be on the back of her mind, as Jake revealed about a message from “Teo” to the victim, and Patience was then confronting Frankie about her attitude after she made a comment on her and Elliot and insisting they don’t need to look in the files for evidence. Let’s just say that I’m proud of her for standing up for herself. Soon enough, Frankie and Jake met Teo and “Paco” the plant, explaining his sisters love of plants and asked about Alina. Frankie was then reporting to Baxter about Teo but leaving everything to Alina, and Jake being the good friend his is, reminded Frankie that everyone processes emotions differently following Patience’s vulnerable state. She was then telling how and acacia tree could potentially cause a death, with her spotting on at the crime scene, finding a gardening tool which led back to Teos garden, finding a secret passage to weed farm. It then placed him under arrest, whilst she was looking at the weed farm for more evidence. Whilst that was happening, a “friend” of patience and Elliot’s met Gilmoure, but he suspected she’s lying to him, and judging by his reaction, he was right. As Gilmoure was telling the girl he will find the right moment to tell Patience the news. Jake was then trying to convince Frankie to apologise to Patience after searching for more stuff in the weed farm, and whilst finding a claim, Jake wanted to check in on her but claimed it was skin irritation. She then revealed seeing Elliot with someone else. Jake was then explaining what speed dating is, getting her to go as a way of moving on. During a police interview, Frankie was convinced Teo killed Alina, but he revealed how he was living rough, Alina took him in and sold weed to people with chronic pain, and that the money went back into her research and stated she would be in less danger. Soon, Will was gathering evidence of her working for a pharmaceutical company and Patience gave what she found in the archive but admitted she’s not checked any patents, which led to a lawyer called Marissa Wilson. Marissa tjen convinced Frankie not to pursue the case and revealed someone called superintendent banks, which is revealed to be someone from Frankie’s past. Will got an email about looking for a new plant identity and Patience got a file linking to the same plant for a malaria drug along, with Alina maybe wanting to expose the company. The gang then got an email from a lady called Delphine Burrands, and decided to track her down. But Jake and Patience were soon at the speed dating session (but not before a funny moment in the office), and after recalling her plan, whilst it was entertaining to watch, I can only imagine how stressful it might be. Whilst that was happening, Will found Delphine Burrand which was revealed about Alina being a visitor, and her husband was convinced it was Alinas paranoia. Back at the station, comment Frankie made to Patience again turned the mood sour when talking about her way of speed dating and soon apologised for her actions. Patience was then revealing how she masked her autism, and Frankie giving some good advice on being herself, which not only is a way to build bridges between the pair, but it prompted her to realise that aconite may be the thing that killed Delphine and Frankie apologised. Will was soon interrupting the moment to see that Alina sent an email about a new plant species, sparking her to remember a book with the same name. It then led to the discovery that Alina and Delphine were lovers and found their plans. It then got everyone on the team recalling everything when Dr parsons admitted that Patience was right but made a query on aconite. Ad the hospital, Patience made a comment on a blue rose, recapping it in the archive and going back to the garden to recognise it, along with Will getting CCTV footage of Tobias, but claimed to have had an alibi which was Alina. We then saw Tobias getting interviewed and stated how he felt when Delphine tried to commit suicide, and Frankie looking at a possible solution. Patience then made a comment that led to Alinas inhaler, leading back to Tobias again, who frankly admitted it and Frankie going through what happened on the day Alina was killed. Following Tobias’ arrest, Frankie shared some good news to Teo, and asked if she can look after the plant which she did. The end of the episode saw Patience and Jake going to Frankie’s for dinner and saw a picture of her dead mum, but it looks like it’s a fresh start for the three of them. Episode 7 aka the penultimate episode, “A Monks Tale”, saw a shadowy figure coming in. After Frankie got a match on a dating app (which Jake didn’t like the look of), and after Patience made a joke about speed dating, she notices people someone out of the window. Frankie was also talking to her about how her love at 17 thought she was the one, and seeing Elliot makes her rethink everything. Lucas Drummond was the name of the victim in question, with dr parsons getting the measurements of the weapon, and Patience noticing something on his robe that suggests he was maybe protecting his murderer. Frankie, Jake and Patience were then seen visiting a group of monks and visiting father Colin, and revealed that brother Thomas found the body, but an interruption from father Colin and the monks looks got them suspicious. There was also no record of Lucas on the files but saw a place he was previously transferred to, but also noticing father Colin’s name being on the same on the same place. Baxter then called a meeting about Zinzis social media strategy, despite being interrupted by a bag of peanuts, and revealed to putting them on a place at a festival. Frankie and Patience were then going back to the monastery to visit father Colin about not answering his phone and also about the same monastery as father Lucas, revealing it isn’t Lucas Drummond at all. Colin was then getting interviewed about him, revealing he knew a woman called Katie. During the interview, Patience was asking Jake about the concept of soulmates and about on how to make things right, only to be interrupted by going to forensics and finding scars on the body. Will was then giving updates on Lucas and Frankie asked Baxter to pull rank and Baxter giving everyone the schedule for the festival with Patience being with Jake. Frankie was then asking Colin why he’s keeping secret, with Colin revealing Lucas had troubles from when they first met, and revealing an incident he didn’t admit to keep his reputation. This resulted in all the monks coming to the police station to get interviewed, with brother Swavek may not be the best suspect due to dementia and Will revealing a club called Ultio Dei, which Patience has filed to and had bad things about Lucas. Frankie and Jake were then going back to the monastery and asking who logged on, which was Zephaniah, and asked him about the chat and Lucas’ door, which he admitted to but didn’t know the extent, believing he would fall and brought up the woman. Whilst Patience looking at photos of Elliot and wondering if she made the right choice to break up with him, Zinzi mentioned about her having a slot on stage, which makes her uneasy. Frankie and Jake revealing the woman was Katie Morgan, but not before Baxter mentions Calum banks after searching an arrest. She soon put it to the back of her mind by visiting a friend of Katie in the form of Joanna, and asked about her addition who admitted her job at the hospital started to notice it, and mentioned a Lucas Haynes, which was the name of the real victim: it then led to Frankie getting a lead and Lucas Haynes changed his name whilst Jake got a missing persons case for Katie. Patience then revealed his past crimes from a file, and the conversation soon turned to Frankie making a joke on food and got her to try siracha sauce, which she likes. But seeing Jake with two plates of food and a comment from Frankie may have got the case on where Katie is, with no success whilst Patience was looking at the map. They then bumped into brother Swavek who claims Katie as the serpent, claiming she was poison to the monastery. Patience then spotted something on the map that’s part of the library, whilst also noticing something off about the delivery man. Patience then sensed something on a bookcase, which was actually a passage to a place that led to Katie Morgan. It then led to Frankie breaking the news to Katie and she revealed she was locked in, and revealing her flatmate Joanne is a dealer. She then explained her relationship with Lucas and how she wanted to help him and were separated for 15 years, speaking curiosity with Patience, who asked Katie about soulmates. Patience then at her group got advice on getting back Elliot and mentioned on what she would say to him, which was so romantic! Jake was then telling Frankie about getting Joanna’s dealings (whilst cooking lunch) whilst Patience found some stuff on Katie Morgan from past cases Lucas did. Katie clearly didn’t want to say anything whilst getting interviewed and revealed that a former patient Robert Hargrove harassed her and that Lucas stepped in to protect her. Baxter was then wondering if it was a revenge murder, but Will found winsome details of roberts brother Leo, who was the same delivery person. Back at the monastery, Patience suggested a different way to get in after Leo locks the main entrance, which led to finding him and begged him not to kill, revealing Lucas’ last words and Patience putting out the fire in time to arrest Leo. It then ending with the gang at Viking festival taking place. Just as she was about to speak to Elliot, Patience then got asked to do her speech and Baxter initially took over, but decided to say her own words which was a success and everyone was happy for her. And it was clear that Elliot was also still harbouring feelings for her too… Finally, episode 8: “Hostage”, saw a hostage with Frankie’s former boss taking place, with Baxter updating him on the situation and meeting Will and Jake, who also immediately took a dislike to him, and it was then revealed that Frankie and Patience are hostages in the situation. 90 minutes earlier saw the woman called Nicola Barclay go to Patience and ringing Frankie who claimed to be accused of murder, with Calum Banks being the DCI at the time. But Patience noticed no other suspects, and a urgent alert made Nicola worried. As they headed to the archive files, the decision was made to locking the building in despite Baxter not letting them find Patience, who’s got a sensory overload in the first place. Callum was then asking what’s going on and refusing to let Frankie sort it, with Baxter being surprised when she was disobeying her orders. We then saw Patience calling Jake and Will for help to get into criminal records in HQ, then getting access to the files and spotting a clue. Nicola was obviously breaking her personal space, but Frankie helped nicola to gain her trust. The team was soon coming in whilst Baxter and Will sees Elliot in the commotion. It was then revealed that Nicola was wanting to clear her name for the daughter Gemma, and wanted to see Patience, revealing it’s under a year when she asked why she didn’t appeal. She then talked about her son when the subject of addiction came to light, and Callum was still going ahead with the order despite Baxter warning it’ll be dangerous. Patience then revealed the code she cracked using the periodic table. After getting rescued, Frankie got interviewed about bringing Nicola in. Whilst Calum was talking about her, Baxter also had queries, until she revealed Banks is bent and that’s the real reason why she left, refusing to corporate after she mentioned that it’s not just Nicola Barclay. It then led to Banks stepping off the investigation and not knowing where she is. Patience was then being interviewed about her involvement in a case, showing how she works and how the victim being the wheelchair user sees the patterns differently, revealing it was just Nicola they interviewed, impressing the team member at Manchester. Jake was also undercover as Baxter had a plan and when Frankie was talking to Patience, and figured out all she wanted was the names of the people at the support group. Frankie’s evidence got Patience trying to call Billy, but had no choice but to ring Elliot to help pull some strings in Manchester, who’s trying to get Baxter to get him to see she’s not guilty. Frankie and Patience were then seen in a cell with Jake handing her the file. Will then stated that Patience has a “medical profession” when really it was Dr Parsons hatching a plan, and Jake revealing to Frankie about Banks holding a conference with Patience getting all the evidence needed. After Banks was initially refusing to come into the office, Baxter made him clear he needs to come in. We then saw Baxter flipping the story and getting a deal, getting reports of the car driver which was Andre Montague and recapped the night thanks to Patience’s help, landing Banks in hot water. After thanking him for his help, Patience failed to tell Elliot how she really feels. But after Jake revealed the traffic I was bad whilst finding Nicola, Patience finally told him how she felt, and him revealing with the woman from SOCO team are not a thing, sealing it with a kiss. She was then going with Frankie whilst Nicola confronts Andrew. When they got there, Nicola was adamant that it’s too late, and whilst Will and Jake catch up to them, Patience told her what she learnt from Frankie, with Frankie getting shot in the process. Nicola was then explaining how she felt in prison and Frankie and Patience stating how they feel in their own unique way, and making a swift recovery. It was then revealed that Nicolas conviction being overturned and Banks is getting the punishment he needs. Despite Patience and Frankie getting guilty charges, with her initially wanting to hand in her resignation, because of their hard work, decided they were fired. The end of the episode saw Patience attending Elliot’s friends wedding whilst meeting Joy, who gave a shocking statement about the relationship between the two. Now there’s got to be a new series following that shocking statement. Surely!

Personal:

Exercise:

This week I did two workouts at the gym as I went out on the Tuesday (and you can go to “Meeting Friend” to read more), but one of those sessions was with my gym buddy. I also did good on the exercise bike. These included getting to 10k at 13mins 46secs on the Monday, and 14mins 13secs on the Saturday. Because the tiredness from my “Proper Job” was catching up to me, I did feel I had to push harder. But the important part is I got through it and I got it done, which is better than not doing it at all.

Cooking:

This weeks cooking was a chicken Parmigiana. I quite liked this meal, and it was a success. It was also delicious, and my family liked it too. The perfect meal before my grandparents go away and me going back to basics.

Reading:

This week I finished the latest adult romance novel by Hannah Grace. This was a beautiful read, and I can totally understand why she decided to not specifically mention about one character being AuDHD. But I still managed to get the references and the hints about the traits shown, and I still thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also a perfect example of how with understanding, patience and kindness, true love can really happen.

Survey:

This week I only did a small amount of surveys at the end of the week. I know I could've done more, but with me having a busy week, I knew I would struggle to fit them in. But like I said in many where I only did small amounts, any is better than not doing it at all.

Darts:

This week I only had one practice and one leg to myself. It started off well and I got some big scores for me personally, but after numerous visits to double 1, I decided to throw in the towel to avoid getting myself more frustrated. But as seen below I got some brilliant combinations, which was a win for me.

Meeting Friend:

This week I met one of my actor friends for a coffee. It was at a really nice cafe where you can play board games and cuddle cute teddy bears (where I got to cuddle a Pikachu) . It was great to catch up, and the board games we played gave me such brilliant memories. But it was nice to socialise, something I need to do more often this year.

The Masked Singer:

This weeks biggest I Spy game saw two unmaskings. I was quite shocked by who got unmasked, as I thought they would make it further in the competition. Again I won’t reveal who it was, but let’s just say that I’m happy I got the second masking correct! It’s moments like this where along with Robin in series 2, I have never felt more emotional and happy in my life lol! I can’t wait for next week’s episode!

Squid Game: The Challenge:

Episode 7: “Trust”, saw Player 369 Zoe getting eliminated, and I didn’t like how player 183 Steven is talking about Perla. We then saw 383 Emily and 378 Justin getting the slides and 451 Mackenzie narrowly escaping, working out all the good slides and all the bad slides. Perla was also being smart with her decisions when it came to a card, but it caused friction between 327 Kate. The aftermath of the game saw 327 Kate apologising and player 183 Steven and 302 Dajah talking about her friendship with Perla, and we also saw player 318 Christopher also relating to what Kate said but not to take it out during the game. It was then followed by Kate talking about her son's conditions, and Steven making an alliance with Christopher in the hope to make people trust him. Soon, “Circle of trust” saw player 398 trinity receiving a pass to take part in this game, with Dajah having it as an advantage with her job as a police officer. During the game,  disagreements saw player 110 get eliminated after 327 Kate gets the first pick. And it ended with player 409 Claire picking player 183 Steven. Episode 8: “Faith”, saw that it was Player 409 Clare being eliminated, the real taker being player 412 AJ. Player 183 Steven was pinning 361 Faith, with player 302 Dajah clocking his motive and calling it out, but it still cases Faith to be eliminated. Player 318 Christopher used a different tactic to find out who placed the gift box, but it failed as 412 was the picker. Steven was playing sneakily in taking out player 412 AJ, and as the game finished, it then came to revealing about Steven taking out faith. But Dajah knew Steven is guilty by the way she’s looking at him thanks to her work in the force, and back in the dorm, she and player 072 Perla were talking about who they trust and who they don’t. Player 017 Vanessa was on both sides whilst talking about being a professional lobster fisher. Steven was then seen talking to player 327 Kate about his poker journey after going into debt, which sparked Kates curiosity on why Steven is even there after he revealed about his money he already won. Meanwhile, Perla was reflecting and her and player 398 trinity talking about religion. We then saw Perla, Dajah and Trinity all wishing each other luck and stated that whoever wins out of the three of them, they’ll be happy if one of them wins. A simple game of Shuffleboard saw a twist in which the players went against each other in their teams, and player 327 and 398 were going head to head for being furthers away from the line. This then resulted in Kate’s getting eliminated and the rest getting their rewards, which of course was the classic tuxedos. Finally, episode 9: “Red Light Green Light”, saw a recap of the players journey. Whilst enjoying the classic dish of steak, everyone asks about each others life. These included asking player 183 Steven about his poker days, player 017 Vanessa talking about her working life and Player 302 Dajah talking about her struggles. We also saw player 072 Perla talking about how her mum had to leave to help provide for her family, and player 398 Trinity wanting to win but also grateful, also mentioned about her mums MS. But all of that soon changed when game that involved bluffing in order to get a card took a surprising turn, with Trinity using a reverse psychology and realising how tough the game is. So makes the decision to eliminate himself. I totally get his reason as to why he’s doing it, knowing he wants to win but win fairly. And he got the praises by everyone and made a toast. This left Dajah frustrated on not taking out Steven, whilst Vanessa was talking about her brother and also the final four looking at the piggy bank. Vanessa and Steven were then changing their minds about how they feel if each one of the players win, and Dajah and Perla wishing each other luck, whilst Dajah talking about her job. The final game was of course the iconic “Red Light Green Light”, with Dajah using her tactics in this game. After Vanessa and Steven were out, it was a race between the besties. But Dajah bows out when she suffers an injury, and I can imagine her frustration as it couldn’t have come at a worse time. But it was Perla making it out on top as the winner, and she and her family, including Jeffery celebrated this historic moment!

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:

This weeks main challenge was of course my time of the month, and getting abit frustrated earlier in the week was a sign (as mood swings is my common side effect before my time of the month). But a hot water bottle, some pain killers and some rest really did do the trick! I also got abit overstimulated towards the end of the week, which did cause me to feel on edge. But I resolved this by taking some breaths, using my de-stressing spray, and relax. And somehow it did wonders for me!

What have I learnt this week? Notice what I naturally do, then look at how I can hide it when learning about Stella Adler.

See you soon for another blog. Until next time...

This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
