Hello world! Welcome back to another blog. This addition saw me visiting London to see an iconic marmalade loving Bear from Peru, a afternoon where my local town hall was transformed into an afternoon perfect for the ton, and the launch of an episode of a podcast I recorded a few weeks ago. So without further ado, here is what I got up to on the week commencing 4th May 2026:
Professional:
Showreel Reordering:
This week I managed to look at reordering my showreel, making two options for my screen reel and one separate reel for all things theatre. I’m glad I managed to finally do it, as it needed a major update. At the time of posting this it’s currently in the edit, but should be up by the end of May at the latest, so keep an eye out on my Instagram @theautisticactress to see what I added in it!

Casting Directors:
This week I managed to draft some emails to many casting directors and creatives. I’m doing them in batches at a time, so then once they’re all done I can simply schedule to send them at the same time. I hope to get it done next week, particularly how I got given some good news which I’ll mention in the next section.
Job Applying:
This week I managed to nudge my agent on some more exciting stuff on Spotlight and also applied for some jobs on Mandy. Whilst I didn’t have my updated showreel and missed out a key skill on my Spotlight profile, I knew I had to get them in sooner rather than later. I also got news of an event I applied for, so keep an eye out on my instagram for when I post about the event itself!
Podcast Releasing:
This week my episode of “Backstage Goss” was released onto Spotify. I’m so happy about this, and after listening to sections of it, I’m happy with how it’s turned out! Click the link below to hear the full podcast, and do contact Steve Watson himself if you’re a creative wanting to put a word about your profession!

Content Posting:
This week I managed to post more videos I made. These included my belated Easter sketch, and a monologue linking to an exercise by practitioner Stella Adler (possibly mention other one), and I’m glad I managed to get them posted. Click the links below to see the videos and let me know why you thought of them:

Act On This Podcast:
This weeks podcast was with Spotlights Senior Success Manager Mel Brown, taking you through how to make your profile stand out from the crowd. This was an interesting watch, and work the new changes happening, it was good to know the new layout. Midway through the podcast as well I even took on board some of the advice, like changing my main headshot (which was something that needed doing), what important bits to include in highlights (which was previously called “About Me”), and knowing every word I put is searchable. But I’m glad I hoped onto this podcast, as now that I’m in the process of updating my showreel, and creating a theatre reel, I got some good tips and tricks from Mel, Ross and even a member of the community.

Coronation Street:
This week I watched the show from the week commencing 27th April, which was also murder week! Each of them focused on a different character and their final moments, which I thought was very clever. 27th focused on Todd, who was getting ready for Thailand, little knowing the person who smashed the glass was Theo. Whilst he was doing that, George showed Christina his present for Todd, getting a call of him, and only to be confronted by Theo. During this scary time, Gary was stopping Summer from smashing Theo’s car, whilst Sean updates them about the wedding (which brought a lighter mood to this dangerous episode). At the flat, Todd was reluctantly letting Theo cook a meal whilst Summer confides in Gary about what Theo said to her. And Theo was continuing to threaten Todd, with George coming to the rescue and ended up in a awkward situation himself. But thankfully, George made a distraction and getting out of the flat. This then got Todd reflecting on what happened, with George recommended him to have a safer option when he left his suitcase, and was pleased with his present. Despite giving Summer his advice, Gary still ended up trashing Theo’s van himself not knowing there’s CCTV footage, making out to Maria it’s business and sending a threatening text to Theo. But Kit was frustrated in finding Theo gone, as he was hiding in his now broken van. And whilst Kevin and Ronnie were talking about Carl, George came back to the pub to report back to Summer and Christina about what happened, with the mood ruined when Kit revealed he’s still looking for him, with George taking matters into his own hands. To help calm his nerves, George was waving Todd off, but him forgetting his phone landed him in more danger. 28th focused on Carl, who was trying to apologise to Abi for the comment he made, with Abi blaming herself. Whilst that was happening, Debbie was reporting to Ronnie and Kevin about how much she paid Carl, with Kevin reassuring her she did the right thing by letting him go. At the garage, Abi made her feelings on Carl clear, but reluctantly accepting a drink from him as a way to say goodbye. But things were about to get more tense when Debbie was having another dementia moment, making her overwhelmed when she forgets Ronnie’s name. And whilst Christina was convincing George to finish his drink before he checks in on Todd (hence why he came when he did in the previous episode), Abi and Carl had their drink, with him trying to get into her good books by mentioning the moment they met, and her soon grilling him about his business with James and mentioning about how they’ll feel when he leaves, with Kevin coming in with questions. Back at the hotel, Debbie had realised how bad her disease is happening, with Ronnie making light out of it and promised to be by her side. Back at the Rovers, Ben was making sure Carl doesn’t cause trouble, and Abi was explaining to Kevin why she had a drink with him, and Ben was serving the hot pots to Christina. We then saw Fiz and Sally coming in, talking about Sophie, requesting alcohol from Ben for Carla and Lisa. It didn’t take long for Carl to interrogate them, and Fiz was letting out how she feels, which resulted in Carl leaving again and mocking Tyrone. It also didn’t take long for Carl to confront Theo, soon getting into a scrap which was stopped by Kevin and letting slip on how he feels and not wanting to contact him again, secretly taking his money. Back at the hotel, Ronnie was confiding in Ed, Michael and James about if the stress of Carl is linked to her dementia, and letting off his stress. And Carl himself was wallowing in self pity when he got a picture from Kevin with his money, soon breaking in the garage and getting trapped under Kevin’s car whilst trying to tamper it. At the flat, Debbie was confiding in Kevin, who was convinced that letting him go is a good idea but she still felt guilty, soon showing her the money and convincing her it’s hers. Debbie reckoned it was a bad idea, causing friction between the pair, which I think wasn’t much help with her dementia. The episode ended with Ronnie feeling tense as he left the garage with Carl in the back of the car. 29th focused on Jodie, who was getting ready to leave, with Lily catching her with the money and bothered about why she’s leaving unnoticed. Lily was then wondering if Jodie abandoned them whilst David quizzed Shona about why her sister was leaving, and David trying to make a joke with Tim. It was then that Sarah was reassuring Shona it’s just the alcohol talking with David, and Lily being upset about everything. Jodie was convinced it’s best for everyone and offered to come with her, followed by disowning her completely. Shona then soon spotted lily, whilst being confronted by the men looking out for Jodie, soon rescuing her. Amid all this chaos, there was a amusing moment when Sally was reminding David about Carla’s stash, soon being caught out by Carla but allowed him to have it. We then saw Jodie giving the hard drive back, and the men making it clear they’ll be back, soon comforted by Shona, followed by another amusing moment when David was drunkenly voice noting Shona, soon catching Sally and Tim having “a moment”. As the house, Shona was finding David’s voice note entertaining, with Jodie thinking Shona’s right about leaving band promised her no more lies. It was then that Jodie mentioned Lily’s upset, with Shona saying it’s for the best, but soon revealed about wanting to stay, and a comment on the “perfect life” got Jodie wondering, followed by listening to the rest of David’s voice note, with Shona bumping into the Battersby sisters and offered to chat to Toyah. Jodie then found a box with some letters, liking a message from David as revenge for Shona actually knowing about the letter, and David himself drunkenly chatting to Kirk, little knowing the message was actually Jodie. I can only imagine the horror on David’s face when he came home to mistaken Jodie for Shona, who was soon pinning the blame on him, and him reminding her of what she said. David soon came to realising that Jodie used Shona's phone, and after Kit reported to Sarah about Theo, promising her they will catch him, she walked into David and Jodie’s argument, soon taking Jodie’s side after hearing the drama and finding it funny, but soon sided with David when Jodie brought up Josh, getting her out of the house. David and Sarah were then talking about what happened, worried Shona will believe him, with Sarah convincing him it’ll be fine, ending with Jodie being confronted by someone. 30th focused on Megan and Maggie, starting with Maggie on the phone to Melanie about Will. The Battersby sisters in the meantime were bringing in Megan hostage, spotted by someone, led by Toyah, whilst Daniel was moping after George and Christina talked about the wedding, with Ben getting a message from Mel. At Leanne’s flat, the sisters were forcing Megan to be honest with Will and apologise to Sam, making it clear she won’t leave until she does. Whilst the brute force didn’t work, Toyah tried a different approach, and after a comment from Megan about Eva not being a biological mum was made, it got tense and soon irritating them. At the Rovers, Daniel, Ben, Chesney, George and Christina were talking about films, linking to the wedding, with Maggie coming in to backstab Mel, only to find out she’s in the Rovers. It was then that Ben was reminding Maggie that Melanie is the biological son, kicking her out and her overhearing everything. Meanwhile, Megan was continuing to push their buttons when the sisters ask her genuine questions, and a comment in Imran pushed Toyah to breaking point and Eva made it clear she will continue to haunt her. After Megan failed in approaching Kit about the assault (moments after speaking to Todd), she was then bumping into Daniel, letting her into the place, whilst the sisters arguing about the whole thing and what Leanne said to Megan. I’m glad Daniel saw sense when he caught Megan out, refusing to help her and being open about how she used him, letting his anger out. It also made it worse when Ken walked in and questioned what happenedc whilst Maggie and Mel were talking about the situation, convincing her Scotland is safer for the kids , and mentioning her late husband’s “accident” and how her other son Finlay saw. This resulted in Maggie having a panic attack, only for Megan calling her down. Back at No. 1, Daniel was quizzing Ken about what he saw, making his feelings clear, and soon Megan was going back to her old ways after calming Maggie down, and getting called by Ben got her leaving. He was simply asking Maggie to get her knowledge to Chesney about Irish alcohol, with the sisters coming in and Chesney also reported about Theo, but there was more tension when Eva and Leanne got arrested after Megan made a report. At the bistro, Toyah and Shona were talking about family, giving her advice about sisters, only to be interrupted by Sam to ask about Megan, revealing he was the one who saw them, with Toyah telling a different story, making it worse. The episode ended with Megan ringing about a sentimental item of clothing, being confronted by Maggie. Finally, 1st saw the culprit being revealed, but not before each of the suspects had their challenges. Todd being chased by Theo, and Theo asking Jodie about him. Theo soon noticed the which which Todd used as a distraction, whilst Summer came into the flat, only to find Theo in an awkward situation. Meanwhile, George and Christina were worried about Todd’s safety, blaming himself, only to get a call from him himself. It was then that Christina offering to go and begged george not to cause any trouble. George was relieved to see Todd and explained why he ran, with Christina also mentioning how Theo tracked him and offered to let George stay longer, and Christina noticing the change in jumper. Meanwhile, Megan and Maggie were having a showdown, revealing her past and was stopped by Will. Maggie then revealed about Megan aborted the baby, with the abuser trying to twist it, with Will still not believing it. Toyah was also getting arrested which was spotted by Sam, clearly still traumatised, and Maggie was trying to make Will see Megan has lied, with Will retaliating about Maggie’s infidelity. Meanwhile, Leanne and Eva were reporting each other about their interviews, with Eva seeing the light side of the situation, and Kit giving an update which could be important. Eva was then ringing Maggie, finding Will and denied everything, only to for strangers to find Maggie unconscious. For the Platts, Jodie was talking to Lily about why she ran away, telling her not to blame Shona. Shona herself was reporting to David about Toyah, and asking for Nick with David tried to hide his unease whilst Jodie snuck into the flat. For the sister herself, she was getting off the phone and searched the house for money, trashing the place in the process. It was then that Sarah was walking in to find the place a mess, only to get whacked on the head by Jodie. I’m just glad Shona found her and David rang an ambulance, thinking it was men coming after Jodie, which got her worried about her sister , with David voicing his concerns again, and getting a message from Jodie twisting things again, making out it was a scam. For the Websters, Ronnie was getting a voicemail from Debbie which reflected on the situation, clearly emotional about with. Shortly afterwards, Ronnie was sterilising the car, with Carl in hospital in a critical condition. And after Betsy and Lauren were having chips and thinking a plan B, and despite being concerned about Lily, they were soon ready for their night out, but not before Betsy needed the loo, only for her to find Theo lifeless…
Hollyoaks:
This week saw a mother being open about how much time she really has left, a resident being arrested after a confession was made, and two friends convincing their friend to lie about what happened in the crash. Mondays episode saw Vicky wake up from her coma, and was undergoing tests to see if her memory was still there following the crash. This was overheard by Beth, with charlie and Frankie telling her to bend the truth, despite her knowing what really happened. But when she eventually gave in, she soon turned on the pair. Elsewhere, Diane was getting worse, so had to face the hard work of telling Eva the truth of her illness. She was brave for taking it well, and asking if she’ll be there for her birthday set both Diane and Tony off. It then got Tony suggesting to go to America to visit their relative Sinead, making the most of the time she has left. But with Ste’s wedding, and knowing her prognosis is shorter than expected, will she battle through? Meanwhile, Cleo was looking for proof of getting the medication, and Mercedes was also hot on the tale when she overheard Warren and Sienna talking about what happened. And Sienna and Cleo themselves were having a tense showdown, with Sienna bringing up Mark. But when things calmed down, right back in the shower when they first had that connection, Cleo used the calm approach where Sienna eventually admitted that she killed Clare. Tuesdays episode saw Cleo talking with Sienna about her confession, knowing that there’s something else she’s hiding. She soon decided to come with her to the police station, but a detour to the allotment claiming it’s linking to Ste’s flowers was a distraction, and it looked as though Sienna would be following in her dads footsteps. But Warren and Mercedes finding out about what Sophie said got Dodger finding Cleo just in time, with Sienna making an escape. But Warren getting a text from her resulted in handing her in to the police, rebuffing the idea of the two of them being the same when really he’s upset for putting the blame on Sophie. Meanwhile, Charlie was trying to get back in Vickys good books, with Gemma giving some good advice. But there were more serious questions to talk about when Misbah brought up the subject on the slimming jabs, where Gemma revealing that she prescribed them for Misbah caught in a dilemma. But for now, she decided to keep it quiet, also keeping it from Donny. But the problem is, how long can they keep it up for? And Diane was spending some quality time with Eva, and getting emotional after she asked about if the tooth fairy will see her in heaven. Tony also brought a wheelchair for their holiday, but when Diane mentioned about how the most memorable moments are at home with her family, I feel like it’s a sign to say that her time is coming very soon. Finally, Wednesdays episode saw Ro curious about Diane packing, in which she revealed about the holiday, which was meant to be a surprise for the family. But that’s not the only drama he’s getting involved in, as Rex was past the point of caring when Ste mentioned about Sienna, which was soon interrupted by Ro coming in and begging Rex to not wear the suit and wear what he feels most comfortable in. But Rex soon lost his temper when the suit was tampered, lashing out at Ro. Although initially surprised when Ste found out, it soon turned into passion, but Ro meanwhile was shocked when he discovered about how many people were really going away. But I wonder what action he’ll take during the wedding next week when he overhears Leela and Ste talking about cheating on Rex? Elsewhere, Liberty and Cleo had to break the news to Joseph, in a way that was understandable for someone of his age, where Cleo then made the decision to move out, and after Theresa sensed some unresolved tensions, Liberty reminded Dodger to be careful when it comes to Cleo. Also I don’t know if it was what happened to Clare that spurred it on, but suddenly Warren was goading Jenson about him and Mercedes, and over as Casa McQueen, deliberately set off the fire alarm in order to express his feelings for Mercedes. But she made her choice pretty clear, and Warren wasn’t prepared to take no for an answer. And like with Freddie, he was like if I can’t have her no one can, and soon confronted Jenson. But a comment about how he’s probably jealous and also reminding him of the throuple with him, Mercedes and Gemma, Warren soon turned to violence which was stopped by Mercedes, and I could see why she rejected him. And Frankie was checking in on Vicky, who still felt guilty for lying to the police. But suggesting watching a film together was I guess her way of not completely hating her, but after Frankie paid a visit to see Caleb, and with Vicky spotting the pair, I think things are going to get a little bit more awkward…
Eastenders:
This week saw a surprising twist following the results of the local election, a romance on the horizon, and a new romance on the cards which caused jealously for one resident. Following last week’s emotional week, Mondays episode saw Phil and Julie navigate life without Nigel, with Phil wanting to go to a snooker bar and nearly roped Sam into going after Julie declined. Little did they know that Julie was going to the care home to clear out Nigels things. This was soon picked up on by Kat, who berated Phil and Sam for not checking in on them sooner. They soon went to see her at the care home, where Phil mentioned about how he wouldn’t still be here it Nigel wasn’t around. But with Julie finding a final letter to him, I wonder if she’ll tell Phil the truth after making out it’s just a list of names? Meanwhile, the Knight/Mitchell clan saw baby Ivy returning home, with Nicola feeling uncomfortable when the nurse mentioned the next steps (which I’m assuming was just part of the process for premature babies). At the welcome home party, Kojo's idea of having a Ghanaian naming ceremony was lovely, but the money Honey was asking for a cuddle, Nicola soon kicked everyone out fearing it Ivy getting infected. But if there was one person who could talk her round, it was Gina, who made it clear that the way she behaved wasn’t very nice. But soon she was able to listen to Nicolas background and her birth parents, and how this implicated on her care for Ivy And George was very understanding as well, with the two of them talking about possible traits they got from their parents. But it may become apparent when Nicola gets a call from Georges adoptive father, who requested her to convince George to see him one last time. Elsewhere, Linda was in much need of a self care day, encouraged by Grant, and her day didn’t get off to the best of starts when she caught Max and Cindy snogging their faces off. So she went to the salon to book an appointment, with Josh mentioning a space available and getting her nails done sooner rather than later. It then got Denise and Linda talking about needing time for themselves every now and then, and Raymond being a joy to watch not only in helping Denise, but to also have a dance party (and Josh is so natural with children). And after Grant came over to pick up Raymond (who reassured Denise that it’s something that’ll lighten Phil’s day), it didn’t take him long to make Linda blush. I know they had a moment last time, but I wonder if things will get more serious this time? And Ian and Elaine were getting in their extra votes for their campaigns, and after Linda declined helping her, Elaine soon told Johnny, who advised him to go east on his mother after mentioning they make mistakes. Ian had a different way, and whilst Howie (who declined bank holiday drink offers with Kim), Ross and Harvey were at the shelter, Ian used it as a way to help him get more votes, bringing Mo along with them. But Bea had another trick up her sleeve, which even made Ian feel uncomfortable. And Alfie was understandably angry when he finds the gentleman in the back knowing he has a business to run. But I’m glad he gave them a compromise when it came to the wedding, but it was not the outcome Ian wanted when everyone was still voting for Elaine. I do wonder if he’ll turn to Bea for a risky move? Tuesdays episode saw Nicola revealing her real whereabouts after George found a parking ticket on her car. And after apologising for snapping, he then reflected on his past with him, and Nicola was soon revealing to Gina (who made his feelings on Eddie clear), and Kojo. George then went to see Eddie himself, and after making him take responsibility, was unsure as to whether to believe him or not. Nicola then talked about her father and his treatment towards her, whilst Kojo asked Gina if people can change after she explained her pst and the way Eddie treated her. Nicola also implored George that after revealing she told Gina and Kojo, got him to think very carefully of his decision to let him back into his life, and pretty soon as well, as it looks as though his racist behaviour hasn’t changed when he shrugs off a nurse. Meanwhile, Elaine revealed to Linda about Johnny's money situation, and whilst Kat was questioning Howie and Harvey from the previous episode, Grant gave Linda some advice on how to help out. It then got her making the decision to sell her shades of the salon, with Kim and Josh overhearing it. But whatever happens, I think whilst he’s around, Grant will have Linda’s back, and after seeing spoilers, something tells me he’ll take matters into his own hands after opening up about him and Mark. Elsewhere, it was the speeches for the elections, and let’s just say Ian’s was memorable after Jasmine and Oscar pulled a joke on him, prompting Elaine to have the spotlight. And at Jimmy's 1st Birthday party, everyone was talking about it, with Cindy mocking him about it. It then got him accepting Beas offer of the video after some persuasion, but something tells me it’ll all end up chaotic. Wednesdays episode saw Nicola in a spot of bother. The first one being that because of Harry taking the money for Knight Fusion, both restaurants are in trouble, which after trying everything, resorted to her making the decision to sell the place. This didn’t go down well with Harry, opening up about how it’s the one thing keeping him sober. How did she fix it? Well enter George’s adoptive dad Eddie, who he came to see again, and was adamant that it was the last time he’d make contact with him. He also revealed about how he was on compassionate release, and needed somewhere to stay for his final days. Even if George could let him stay at his (as he was a key witness in his case) George declined the idea of asking people around. And after making it clear George doesn’t want him, Nicola soon accepted his money offer after revealing he’s have savings, but soon revealed how if she were to take the money, he’d have to come and live with them. Oh dear… elsewhere, after Sam gave Grant a wake up call for focusing on Linda rather than Mark (which I’ll get onto in a moment), she walked into the salon to find Denise wipes out. They were then talking about how she urged her to go to the doctors after recalling her initial breast cancer diagnosis. This may not seem much, but with Denise absent for the future episode, something tells me her symptoms are linked to that. It was also the penultimate day of bites for Ian and Elaine, with Ian regretting his actions for making Bea posting the video about Elaine, and after Honey mentioned to Billy about her debit cards, Billy urged Ian to find Bea and get her to take the videos down, which she quickly declined. And Elaine’s attempts to make peace with Ian the day before the results went awry after Cindy (who clearly was trying to make Linda jealous) showed her the video, which resulted in a slap in the face from him. And Linda also had a mission to put things right with Johnny, revealing to Elaine about how she’s going to sell her shares of the salon, which was quickly declined by Johnny. And after Linda snapped at him, Grant was the one to give Johnny a wake up call in the wake of losing Nigel. Despite not forgiving Linda completely, and despite still not taking the money, Johnny at least apologised for his behaviour, which I guess was a start and overheard by Denise and Kim (who reported to her about Elaine and Ian). And I was also right about how something would happen between Linda and Grant, as thanking him to help Johnny turned into something more, and let’s just say that Linda took the advice of doing something for herself really well…Finally, Thursdays episode saw the election results came to play, and Ian even posted an apology video for his behaviour. There was more drama for the Peacock/Carter family, as Max was trying to tease Linda in a bad way when mentioning about her “mystery man”, little knowing it was Grant. Mind you Elaine could’ve said worse things, although I did like how she asked if it was Ian Beale. But she could see that Max was ignoring Cindy's calls, when really it was to ask about an estate agent and if he would take a house she found for him. He then soon tried to push Linda’s buttons, and questioning her if she’s jealous I feel was him trying to hide the fact that he was jealous, and wasn’t secretly ready to settle. But Grant soon put a smile on Linda’s face, and reassured her to take things one step at a time and also reminded her to invest in herself first. It the got them going to Harry’s Barn for Max and Cindy's joint birthday, where Max found out the mystery man was Grant, and he wanted no time trying to put him off her and making a harsh comment about why Grants really there. I’m just glad Grant didn’t make things worse in that department, as I wouldn’t want to mess with him. It then got Max suddenly accepting Cindy's offer, and with Lauren’s approval, Cindy also accepted Max's offer to move in with him, still unsure if he’s jealous of Linda. But Linda herself was there just in time for the results, and Elaine made it very clear about how she’s really hurt by what he did, with even Kathy voting for Elaine and she and Harvey were trying to put Peter off getting more votes earlier. I’m also not a fan of Jean, but it’s moments like telling Bea to mind her own business that made me a fan. But in the end, Ian got the results, and seeing Elaine led to a surprising kiss between the pair after trying to apologise again. With Beas secrets set to be traveled next week, I wonder if the kids will be part of it? Elsewhere, Sam was checking in on Denise about her appointment, where she got told of a suspected iron deficiency, but had blood tests to be on the safe side. Denise also opened up about Linda wanting to sell her share, and wondered if Jack will help her out. Sam reassured her that Jack will do anything for her, and she was right, as it turned out that Jack was planning to tell her all along. If that’s not a green flag I don’t know what is. And with the Mitchell/Knight family, after looking through photos of happier times, Nicola secretly went to see about releasing Eddie, but making a false story in the process. I felt she was also secretly trying to persuade George about reconsidering Eddie by making him realise how shouldn’t bottle up emotions, which he then revealed about how deep down he’s sad Eddie is dying. She also made it clear that unlike Cindy and Elaine, she won’t let him get away with bottling up his feelings, but I do wonder what will happen when Eddie does arrive on the scene?
Small Prophets:
This week I watched more of the show starring Pierce Quigley and Lauren Patel
Episode 3 saw Michael dreaming, soon waking up wishing Clea was back, getting ready for the day. In the neighbourhood, Clive caught Bev spying on Michael, soon talking about Chaffinches, with Bev showing his likeness to Michael. Michael himself waking up the Homunculi, whilst getting ready for work, only for his car to break down, which resorted in him walking to work and spotting some kids stealing money, with them having a cocky attitude. At work, Kacey was talking about a tv show, spotting a newsreader Kaitlin Thorncroft, but soon got emotional after helping her and Gordon spotting the two. This then got Michael checking in on kacey, with Gordon coming in at the wrong time, with the two going to the pickle diner. Michael tried to lighten the mood talking about the history of the cafe, with kacey revealing how she felt seeing the newsreader and each talking about jobs in an ideal world, with Kacey wanting to be in the TV shows Neighbours, where Michael then made a joke wanting a crowd finder after mentioning her ambition. On the way back to work, Michael reassured Kacey that crying is not a weakness (even though he admitted he hasn’t cried in years), and kept her promise about not telling anyone. She was then soon asking about the Homunculi, reassuring him that no one will remember and allowed her to see them. And whilst Brigham was teasing Michael again, wthe police came to ask him about the van to get interviewed with the colleagues overhearing it. Soon Michael got a call from Hilary about Brian, who claims he just tripped over a cat. He was then soon asking about the Homunculi and Brian giving him instructions, and Michael questioning their true intentions. After Michael apologised to Hilary, she then revealed about Roy coming, with him ringing Roy to not come round. Michael was then getting his truck taken away for repairs, with Clive pointing out stuff about Chaffinches but got distracted by climate change. After he ignored a call from Roy, he revealed that he wasn’t with Brian but someone else with someone following him, bumping into Clea’s sister Bea and asking about her. The two were then having a coffee and talking about Clea, but got distracted by the same guy who came in earlier, but called Michael Hamish. After Michael spotted Olive working in the garden and made a comment about a carpet, Kacey came to see Michael’s Homunculi spotted by a teenager on a bike and reminding her not to be scared. But it was difficult it to be shocked by what she saw, stressing them out, with Bev spotting them arguing. But Kacey soon calmed down and asked about the other two, soon coming back to see them again. Michael was then explaining what they are, claiming they always answer the truth and revealing what he will ask them and Kacey revealing her questions. It then ended with Bev spotting the Homunculi, shocking herself with what she found. Episode 4 saw Michael having a vision, which was interrupted by Clive and mentioned about Bev having a word and talking about a big mouse, with the oil sleek being part of the “black rabbit”. Michael then had a delivery if manure, claiming it’s soil conditioner, followed by waking up the Homunculi, feeding them and realising he was late for work. Before he left for work, Bev came to see Michael, and asked about Kacey and offered her services, but secretly curious about what was going on in his shed. Michael was then travelling to work on a bike, with Brigham wanting to have a go himself. Kacey was ten asking if she can see the Homunculi, with an announcement proving that everyone is uninterested, which was then followed by Michael getting a text and voicemail from Roy about who visited Brian, with Gordon firing him after going to the nursing home. After Michael caught out Brigham and what he was really going to do with the bike (which was entertaining), he was then visiting Brian and asked Michael to take some remote control cars from a competition. It was then that Michael was asking Brian about who visited him, with him asking about the Homunculi. It then got him asking Hilary who came in, and gave a description, followed by Roy meeting Bea for coffee, with the guy Hilary gave a description of coming in, and Bea asking about Hamish. Roy was then soon asking about her intentions and the man being revealed to be someone called Bob, who revealed he and Bea are people who represent those who stole items, wanting his help with something. On his way back from work, there was an entertaining moment where Michael was being confronted by a mugger, who made out to be Father Christmas to get out of the situation, whilst Bob and Bea talking about the book Clea had, with Roy offering a plan. Later on, Kacey was coming to see Michael, who made him realise he got the sack, but gave him a chance if he comes back tomorrow and helped him with the manure, and spotted by the teenage boy on the bike. Michael then went onto explaining why they need to dig with the manure, with Bev spotting them. Kacey was also curious after noticing they’ve grown and Michael was then explaining what the Serephine is. The burial was then taking place with Bev overhearing it, following Kacey to the shop, introducing herself and asking about Michael and his project, but with little success to find out what was going on. Whilst they were having a drink, Kacey was asking about the boy on the bike, who Michael revealed to be someone called Elliot and encouraged him to speak to him, and whilst she was finding the loo, found a lot of Michael's boxes. Kacey was then changing the subject to his dream job linking to a dream, explaining his past a conservation volunteer where he met Clea, also explaining her well-being and that the boxes were Clea’s antiques. Michael then went into revealing when she left and making a surprise, reluctantly letting Kacey see it and amazed by it. The episode ended with strange things happening, possibly down to the Homunculi.
A Woman of Substance:
This week I watched more of this brilliant drama. Episode 3 started in the 70s, where we saw Emma and Paula looking through papers and suggesting to invite Jerry for lunch, which Paula revealed of the surprise birthday party, with Emma then keeping the tape, making out she want a to get to grips with modern day technology. She was then playing it again again, recalling the past. The past then saw Emma worried following Adele’s antics, and Edwin reassured her and also revealed about his trip to London, with Emma working out its to court Priya , but gave her something to get through it. Emma was tjen looking through the diary and finding the day he’d return whilst working and focusing on her dress making, but got a cut. We then saw Emma coming to meet an aggressive adele, overheard by Adam and Gerald, and Olivia was reporting back to Adam about it, convincing him to take care of her and talking about their relationship. Emma then came in to see Olivia, who gave her thought about the whole situation, soon suggesting a different way to sort out the chores and getting Olivia to convince her boss herself, which she liked, but the topic of Edwin got her uncomfortable. And her day was about to get worse when Shane revealed he’s leaving, and checking in on Emma who claims to have soot in his eye when in fact she was crying about Edwin. This green got Emma expressing how she felt, with Shane offering her to come with him and reminding her of her mothers dying wish. It then saw Emma writing a letter to Edwin, revealing she’s leaving, only go have Edwin come home, followed by being interrupted by her boss. We then saw Adam coming in to see Adele, to find that she was telling the truth about her drinking since the party, and reported it back to Olivia, clearly surprised by how long she’d been sober for, and thanking her and interrupted by a letter and Olivia being convinced about a new path. Soon Edwin wasdiscussing the plan, which Emma wasn’t convinced at first, discussing her own plans and eventually agreed to stay and got intimate. It was clear that Emma declined to go with Shane, claiming it’s for Frank and her dad, and the hope of a future for her, but like the ice guy he was, Shane still offered her his services should she change her mind, but she was adamant about her choice, overhearing the discussion about the schedule, being pleased. Later on, Adam saw Adele, convincing him she hasn’t drank and how she felt great since she stopped with Adam taking care of her. But things become awkward tension at breakfast, where Emma was asked by Olivia and asked about the uniforms which she liked, suggesting to send idea to John Lowther. It then got Emma making some samples whilst Frank did some homework, teasing him about it whilst Frank reminded her of getting the sack if she gets caught, and both saying their mum would be proud. But then Frank was covering for Emma after she has a wobble, leading to a funny story and her dad being proud of her hard work. We then saw Emma on her way to work whilst Adam suggested to Olivia about him staying at The Mill and Olivia go by herself, which she was unsure about, and Emma was also asking to come with Olivia, but a rule on what Olivia said got her wondering. Whilst Olivia was your, Adele was coming down from her bedroom for the first time since her mental breakdown, taking in the fresh air, and Adam falling back in love with her again, little do they know Edwin spotted them and Gerald also seeing, bringing the two of them together. Soon enough though, Olivia was reporting to Adam about the success, but he soon rebuffed her, claiming it’s his personality, but soon giving in, but stopping due to claiming it’s to do with business affairs. When in actual face he came into Adele’s room, claiming he was worried. Emma then had a health decline whilst checking her diary, knowing that something is not right, and Adele had worrying thoughts, but a maid coming in thinking it was Emma got her drinking again, thinking she’s unreliable. And after Edwin found a yellow rose and a note from Emma, and whilst Adam wakes up to find Adele drunk again, infuriating him, Edwin met Emma in the garden, and revealed she’s pregnant, soon asking him how he’s feeling. He then got suggesting she’d have a termination, soon questioning about the future he planned, and was immediately wanting to leave, regretting how she declined Shane’s offer. After getting the suitcase as promised, she soon biddes an emotional goodbye to Frank to start a new life in Armley, whilst Edwin was heartbroken. Episode 4 once again started 70s, seeing Emma having a visit from her child the countess, only to play the tape and grilling her about her priorities. The past then saw Jack at The Mill, visiting Edwin with work, and Edwin checking in on Emma, with Jack revealing it’s 6 and a half months since she left. Jack was then congratulating him on his engagement (assuming it’s to Priya), whilst emma settles into Armely working for Joe Lowther. Mrs Fairweather was then complimenting Emma, wanting to save for the baby, with Joe also wanting her to take care of herself but Emma was adamant on working tirelessly. Although I’d be here when she was secretly relieved on having a break, looking at options for a nurse whilst reflecting on her relationship with Edwin and her time at Fairley hall. A handsome stranger in the form of David, then showed Emma some new silks, noticing her pin marks and lied about her husband, wanting to save up to have time off for the baby. Joe was then complimenting Emma on her work ethic and Emma pointed out that the silk being the Fairleys replacement. Back at Fairley Hall, the family were having a meeting, with Edwin making it clear about people being human. Priya was then coming in to ask about a wedding date, stating that Sir Vikram is making plans and Gerald was teasing Edwin. There was also tension when Adele spotted Adam and Olivia, feeling a sense of jealousy, whilst back in Armley, Emma comes across Shane, with David making out it’s her husband, but introduced him to Shane, pleased he’s arrived knowing he was the only one who stuck up for her at Fairely hall. Back at the house, Olivia was bringing Adele flowers to update her, and then suggested that Adele leave, with Adele using a flower analogy to explain how she feels. Back in Armley, Shane was visiting Emma, who reassured him that David was being protective, and revealed to him that Jack doesn’t know her whereabouts to avoid trouble. Emma was then talking about how she got pregnant but not mentioning it was Edwin’s and how she’s planning to get revenge with her plan once the baby is born. But Shane was suddenly proposing to her and to look after both her and the baby, but declined due to wanting to look after herself, secretly being disappointed. Soon afterwards. Emma noticed a shop closed down, asking Joe to rent the shop to run a business, with Joe worried about her lack of experience. Emma then went onto explaining why she’d be great for the job and how it’ll help her and the shop. Soon Joe was keeping an eye on Emma, realising she was right whilst Edwin spotted Priya at the top of the world, playing a game to pass the time. Soon afterwards, Priya was questioning her connection with Edwin, suggesting to cancel the engagement. Edwin then saw Adele to check up on her and asked about Priya, but soon changing the subject to Adam and seeing how much of a bad state she’s in. We then saw Emma and Shane organising the shop, whilst Jack is at the mill, wirh Emma requesting what she wants, confident about her plan whilst Edwin reflects on Adele and Emma’s old boss sees Adam. The timing couldn’t have come at a worse possible moment when Emma felt her waters breaking whilst there’s a fire in the Mill, revealed to be overheated and Gerald revealing Edwin was in there. It was then that Frank seeing jack rescue Edwin with Adam coming in and Emma gave birth, with Shane coming in to find her with the baby and praised her for being alone whilst giving birth. The aftermath saw Emma reflecting on her past christening, naming the baby edwina and Shane secretly wondering if it’s linked to Edwin, but she then revealed her full name with one of them being after him, making him happy and suggested to put his name down after asking about the baby’s father. Soon afterwards, shop finally being set up and feeling safe, but little do they know that Frank saw Jack severely injured and Edwin being taken care of, with Adele throwing away the alcohol knowing it wouldn’t help. It was then that Adele came to see Edwin, revealing that she’ll stay for Edwin, but will leave to get and apologised to him. Back in Armley, Emma realised the stress of parenthood and working too much, with no money to spare, but reassured Edwina she’ll be safe and vowed revenge on the Fairleys and willing to sacrifice everything. Jack then sadly passed away, leaving Frank heartbroken, whilst Shane came in to collect Edwina and other stuff to take her to her cousin Freda, and despite being heartbroken, she needed to tell Shane it’s the right decision. The episode ended in the 70s, where her now grown up Edwina (who came in at the start of the episode) questioned her intentions, making a threat and how the plan hasn’t changed and revealed about Paula, soon spotting her with Jim Fairley. And Episode 5 70s Emma giving orders in a meeting for Paula, wanting to prove about the rumours of her health and bringing in someone. She was also wanting an appearance on The Tonight Show and mentioned about her relationship with Jim, convincing her that it’s a distraction. The past saw a new day for Emma, with the grand opening of her shop and David being by her side, reflecting on her decision about giving up Edwina. In her shop, Emma was complimenting customer Mrs Jacobs and also mentioned a recipe from her mother, with David asking when she’ll have time off, soon flirting with her and having distractions. Emma was then visiting joe for a menswear line and giving the news about Dewsbury Mill, with him thinking it’s too risky but Emma explaining it’ll be good. Things were abit tense when Mrs Minton was confronting Emma about her clothing, but Joe stuck up for her, and a comment about her baby left her worried but was soon cheered up by Joe. Later on, Emma and David were looking at the menswear, soon taking his measurement whilst talking about the shop and proclaiming his feelings for her, but reminded her of “her husband”. The tension was about to pick up even more when Priya ended up coming into Emma’s shop, revealing that she’ll be marrying Edwin, and was wanting to try on a wedding dress, but soon finding the humour in it all after it was ordered by the Fairley's (but she wanted alterations). Priya was then reminiscing of her deceased mum's wedding, and revealed of Edwin writing to her and why she came, with Emma assuring her it’s Edwin’s problem, not hers. Emma was then altering the dress and revealed her vow to punish the Fairleys, but also questioned about how it may not be the right decision, telling Priya that she deserves more and convinced her not to marry Edwin, soon taking off the wedding ring after she left. Shane was then asking Emma if she’s happy taking the ring off, and soon asking her if she’s ready to meet someone else, with Emma wondering if the distraction of romance will stop her rage. Shane was then giving good advice and nearly confessed his feelings, but Emma soon asked him about David and if Shane can tell him how she feels, secretly heartbroken. Back at Fairley Hall, Adam and Olivia were getting intimate whilst Adele was away, with Olivia feeling relieved, followed by Emma’s old boss bringing Priya her dress, convincing him not to mention where it came from, with Edwin spotting who it’s from and tried to hide his unease. Back in Armley, David was bringing in flowers, and bought the story about her “husband” died and explained why she didn’t mention it sooner, with David then confessing his feelings for him. We also saw Adele coming back to the house whilst Olivia mentioned about Dewsbury mill being for sale, and Adam bringing up the wedding and was wanting to make it a priority. It’s safe to say as well that Adele’s appearance surprising everyone, with Edwin the only one being pleased, whilst David talking to Emma about a plan on how to court her, making a decision to see her family. Back at Fairley Hall, Adele was coming to her old room and soon was chatting to Gerald, apologising for her behaviour, with Gerald recalling a moment where she was good to him, soon revealing he’s in debt, and Adele promising him he’ll fix it. We then saw Edwin going to Armley to see the dress shop, but chickened out in seeing her, followed by Emma returning home with Frank making lunch, soon berating her for leaving, finding out Jack died and the cause of it. Back at Fairley Hall, the family were having lunch to discuss the wedding, with Adele doing the talking about “her unusual sense of humour” and revealing the family’s scandal, which led to Adele berating Olivia, who claimed she was in love with him for ages. Back at her home, Emma and Frank talking about memories, with aunt Lily looking aftering Frank and revealed that the Fairleys are paying for his boarding school, and how Jack saved Edwin’s life. And Adam was questioning Adele to meddle in the marriage, with Adele wanting a divorce, reminding him of the vows and how he didn’t really want to get married, rebuffing his advances. But it all turned dark when Adam mocked her drinking again, with Priya overhearing it, and Adam finding her dead. We then saw Emma coming back to Armley to see Joe, now requesting the grocers with Joe thinking it’s too risky, but Emma’s pitch got won him over and offering him another proposition, whilst Gerald found Adele dead, with Adam twisting the words to Olivia. Back in Armley, Emma met David who revealed that she and Joe are getting married, thinking she has to do it, breaking his heart, followed by a visit from a loan called Mr Ivner, and Shane visiting to reveal he won’t walk her down the isle if he doesn’t love him. Mr Ivener was then reminding Joe of the loan, with Emma reminding him of the loan. Emma then revealed to Shane that the loan is for Dewsbury Mill, with Shane finding out she’s stealing from the Fairley's and asked her to marry him again, but once again declined, stating why she’s marrying Joe and wanting to take vengeance for her dead’s death. The episode ended back in 70s, seeing Paula adamant she won’t dump Jim whilst Emma took pills, also mentioning the consequences. And a comment from Paula where she berated her for being selfish soon led to Emma having a heart attack.
The Cage:
This week I watched another episode of the high stakes drama set in Liverpool. Episode 3 saw Leanne getting ready for her date whilst Michael tried to process about what Ning said whilst Thomas waits for Paige. Soon enough Matty got a call from Ning after talking himself into declining, soon meeting her with no information, declining her offer. It then got Ning reminding him of being in prison if he doesn’t do it, whilst Kel was asking Leanne about her love life, making a joke on one of her late partner, and soon revealed it’s Gary, where it turned out she went out with him before. Kel was then showing her letters from the hospital and ignored them, soon going on her carvery date. The two were talking about Sunday roasts, followed by Leanne’s mum and how the housing situation works, with Gary still offering to help. The two were then discussing their past dates and family, with Gary talking about his childhood. If then got the subject changed to where they would move, with Leanne wanting to go to Allerton and Gary wanting to go to Tenerife, and a comment on Leanne’s health got her nervous. Eventually Leanne was opening up about having Hypochondria and her cancer scare, with Gary opening the letter for her to reveal that it wasn’t cancer but something else. Back at the casino, Matty’s colleague was pointing out Neil, raising his suspicions with Matty following him and witnessing his confrontation with Alan, who wanted out of Gary’s plan. Matty was then confronting Alan, asking about Neil and Gary with Matty reminding him of the rules. And speaking of Gary, he was encouraging Leanne to call in sick, soon asking about Matty, revealing his addiction, making an excuse to report it back to Alan, saying it’s a work call, not knowing that Matty spotted it on CCTV footage. Matty was then ringing Leanne, who revealed about being with Gary, failing to see the danger she’s in. There was also danger on her doorstep when Ruby got the door to intruders, stopped by Kel after they hit Leanne’s nana, whilst Gary’s charm turned dark when he was making a lie about Matty stealing from him, soon revealing his money laundering and soon roping her into exposing Matty, who was watching the CCTV footage. It then led to Matty getting a call from the bailiffs, with Leanne getting informed by her colleague about her nana with Matty calling his mum, urging her to get them out whilst getting stuck on his way down. Whilst that was going on, Leanne is at the hospital, revealing shes had a funny turn, whilst Matty bumped into Ning and reported back to her on the job, berating him for not doing it properly and reluctantly let him go to his mums. It’s moments like this where you wouldn’t want to mess with Ning when convincing them to back off, with him reporting back to Paul, then getting another deal to another client. Soon after they left, Ning convinced Matty to be careful, which led to Matty revealing how he’s scared of everything, with Ning then suggesting to look into Nancy instead. Matty was then visiting Nancy, and made out he was needing money for Emily, and using the excuse about needing the bathroom to look through the files for any evidence of laundering whilst Thomas goes back to the drug den. Matty soon found something whilst Gary came home, who just missed out on catching him, and Thomas found Kendo with Paige, soon getting into a fight. After Matty casually ate a sandwich (which was quite funny), he soon reported back his findings to Ning and asking about the case. Gary also got a call from Leanne to reveal Thomas getting arrested whilst Matty became paranoid again. At the station, Thomas was getting interviewed with Leanne which turned out it wasn’t a proper one, and that there won’t be a statement needed, which was a relieve from both of them, but the lawyer then mentioned about the package from Gary. On the way home, Leanne found out Kendo was the one Thomas hit, with Leanne not being too angry (as she would feel the same) but Thomas thanked her for Gary helping. Leanne was then bringing Thomas to work, and whilst he was waiting, Matty was asking about their deal and her date with Gary, with Leanne giving her the money for his car, not knowing he saw her on CCTV. Matty was then continuing to look through the CCTV whilst making conversation with Thomas about how Leanne is a brilliant mum, and encouraged him to do better, recalling how his brother died. Leanne then realised she made a mistake after Thomas revealed how Matty helped her, and after Matty spoke to the cleaner, she came in to find Matty, with Gary coming in urged by Leanne to not hurt him and got the office searched, but eventually stopped for Leanne’s sake. The money was then revealed to be with the rubbish the cleaner took out.
Paddington The Musical:
This week I went to watch the 7 Olivier Award Winning show based on the marmalade loving bear with a good friend of mine who I haven’t seen in ages. This was a brilliant day, and after hearing the emotional soundtrack before, I’m glad I got to see this in person, and my friend was also happy she got to see the iconic bear. I also bumped into some people around my man’s age to ask about it, with one of them seeing the show, and another couple asking about the show after seeing my merchandise. I’ll be doing a full review of the show very soon, so keep an eye out for it, but let’s just say it’s a show where you couldn’t “bear” it if you didn’t see it.
Saturday Night Live UK:
This week I watched the penultimate episode of the show originally created in America, with Hannah Waddingham as the host and music from Myles Smith. The Cold Open saw Downing Street set in the future, and the “Sunburnt Lawyers” trailer definitely caught my eye. There was a sketch which involved auditions for musical sketch by the two Janet’s, along with a Speed Awareness course, and an unusual situation during a 18th birthday party took place. The Weekend Update saw election results, Hantivirus, Met Gala, dating on a budget by “Scripmch”, and David Attenborough, and my favourite sketch was the phantom visiting Foot Locker. It then ended with a trip to a wine bar turning into a musical.

Personal:
Exercise:
Whilst this week started off strong, I slacked the exercise routine due to a mixture of going out and also feeling unwell (which I’ll mention more about in “Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them”), but I managed to get to 10k on the bike in TIME. I also did plenty of yoga, which does count as exercise but not as strenuous. So I think I made the right call taking it easy, knowing that next week I’ll come back stronger and better!
Bridgerton Afternoon Tea:
This week I went to the local town hall for a Bridgerton Inspired Afternoon Tea. This was a beautiful set up, from fancy costumes to tasty treats, it had it all. I even got to see some wonderful Bridgerton style dancing from a group called The Bonnets and Breeches Society, and it made me want to do this brilliant dancing. So all in all a really nice afternoon well spent!
Survey:
This week I managed to get some surveys done over the weekend. I’ll be honest that was a good time to do it, and after not feeling well this week, it was definitely the self care I needed. I may not have earnt a lot of points, but I’m glad I got to do one of my favourite activities!
Darts:
This week I had my two games, and despite not feeling well I put in 100% into both of them. These included finishing on double 5 despite 4 bust scores and 2 missed match darts, and double 1 after 3 bust scores and 15 missed match darts. So two different games, but I managed to get my weekly practice in, which is all that matters I guess.
Premier League of Darts:
This week the tournament came to Leeds, where I want to give a shout out to Mark Webster, who had to step back due to health reasons, so I wish him a speedy recovery. We saw it all this week, with a Welsh battle resulting in Johnny Clayton beating Gerwyn Price (who wasn’t very well, and didn’t look right either which obviously didn’t help), and Leeds favourite Luke Humphries had a great night. But it was Luke Littler who stole his chances of a first nightly win, and with Littler and Clayton already qualified for playoffs week, it’s going to be a tough competition!
Britain's Got Talent:
This week I watched the third live show of the iconic talent show. I didn’t think I would like this one as for some reason the third live show is not always my cup of tea, but there was still some talent where everyone upped their game. I wouldn’t personally picked a different golden buzzer, but I could see why the winner of the live show was picked by the public. I can’t wait for the next love show!

Gogglebox:
This week I watched another addition of the iconic tv show, with more exciting moments happening. These included Jenny on the phone to her husband Ray with Les overhearing it, and Giles was showing Mary his new ambition of a children’s entertainer. Abbie was asking Georgia about her holiday, and The Malone’s were showing Shaun a snack he warms up to. Izzi was reporting to Ellie about speaking to her personal trainer, and Cheé was telling Sarah about their time to see Judi Love with Andre present. Finally, Pete was telling Sophie about his and Paige’s night when Eva was poorly, and Jenny was wondering to Lee what would French Toast be called in French. They also watched some of the most talked about moments on the Boxset. “Great Korean Railway Journeys” saw worker of Samsung Tae Lee to show his house which has a lot of developments in technology, and “Married At First Sight Australia” saw Alyssa and David’s videos on what happened during the potential other grooms. “Britains Got Talent” saw Alfredo and Coral, and “Jamie’s Ultimate BBQ” had the Goggleboxers witness the different ways to cook steak. BBC News presented the flat pack world championships taking place, and “Widows Bay” shows mayor Tom staying at a creepy inn, leaving the Goggleboxers on edge. Finally, “Apex” saw a woman named going on a dangerous journey, with fellow character Ben dreaming her and the Goggleboxers out, and the “BBC News” saw a new scandal linking to fish and chips.

Challenges I Faced & How I Overcame Them:
This week some of the challenges I faced included not going to my acting class. This main reason was because I needed to save up my energy for my London trip, and because my trains coming back were later, I didn’t want to risk it being delayed and making it more late. I also wasn’t feeling well towards the end of the week, feeling run down and irritable. So it’s moments like this where I needed to take a step back and rest, knowing that overdoing it will make things worse.
What Have I Learnt This Week? Know the signs I need to take a step back. In this case, when my eye twitches, that’s when I know I need a breather. Weird sign I know, but if it helps me learn to rest, then that’s the most important thing.
See you soon for another blog. Until next time…
This is The Autistic Actress signing off :)
